Chapter 16: Gotta Go Fast

Intro: Im back after an extra long hiatus due to hurting my ankle but its healed up enough for me to tolerate writing which is great! Now go on and have fun reading!
*2 weeks ago* Dominic says: "On behalf of Brayden who is currently resting and healing due to a fierce transphobic attack on her, I want to announce how we are going to figure out how is going to potentially fight Eggman in the Sonic X universe! It has been decided that duelists will participate in a tournament as myself and others believe they will be the best to send out there! Now duelists will be paired up and fight in tag teams in order to speed up the process, top 10 tag teams will be up for selection to go to that world! Remember we dont have just the Lancers, Signers, and GX teams, theres many other duelists such as from Team Unicorn who lost to Team 5Ds in the World Racing Grand Prix in New Domino City! Now pair up duelists for this is going to be fun!" I know who I want to pair up with so I tap Blaze: "Wanna partner up to earn a spot to be selected potentially to help Sonic and friends hopefully? I love when we have tournaments like these!" "Yes awoo!" "Okay Blaze, ready your new duel disk and lets get ready to throw down!" Hours later and we are in the semi finals facing Bruno and Yusei in a tag duel! "I Delta Accel synchro summon Shooting Quasar Dragon! Bruno, let me finally show you the power of synchro that you helped me unlock in full! T.G. Blade Blaster on your last turn left Adam and Blaze in quite the spot and now its time for Shooting Quasar Dragon to end this duel!"
Instead of being angry or disappointed, Blaze and I are in awe as Yusei finally uses Shooting Quasar Dragon, I know he did when we fought the SDL from him informing me but I never saw that happen especially when I became a Dark Signer for a short time. "That was a great duel you two, had use on the ropes with your Xyz monsters but it looks like the true power of synchros won this battle. I hope to battle you both again. Bruno and I will be taking on whoever wins the next match which is between Akiza and Crow and Jaden and Syrus! As you know, we defeated Jack and Kalin in our last match, Im happy Kalin could join us for this." Austin who lost an hour ago having teamed up with Krush announces: "And that is another duel done! The winners are Yusei and Bruno! They move onto the finals! They showed us the infinite potential of synchro monsters extremely well!" *Present time* Myself, Blaze, Team 5Ds(Yusei, Jack, Crow, Leo, Luna, Akiza, Bruno, and Kalin), and the Duel Academy legends(Chazz, Zane, Alexis, Jaden, Bastian, and Crowler) who once faced off against the Shadow Riders all are teleported into the city which is supposed to be where Chris Thorndike and others live, shock instantly appears on my face. "Why is this city Station Square floating high in the sky and why are there Eggman banners everywhere with a view of some Eggmanland down on the ground? What did Gorganan or rather future dark Fluffy Afro do to cause this?" Yusei replies: "Thats not entirely important right now, we need to get into teams to split up and find anything of value information wise. Lets all split into groups of 3 and go from there. I pick Kalin and Jack to go with me." At the end of all that, only me, Chazz, and Leo are left so Chazz sighs: "Looks like I have to go with you dorks. At least you arent as annoying as the Ojama brothers.."
Leo replies as we all split up into teams: "Oh come onChazz, this is going to be awesome especially since Adam and I both have our duel runners!" "Im not getting on one of those dangerous high speed things. I will just walk so I dont have to deal with you two!" Some familiar music plays as Ojama Yellow appears: "Come on boss, dont you hate walking everywhere? Ride with one of them will ya? Boss? .." Chazz shoves Ojama Yellow: "I dont need your input just shut up!" Ojama Yellow retreats. I then say to Leo: "Hey Leo, how is life in London? Do you miss New Domino City a lot?" "Its great, my sister still thinks I'm embarrassing though.. I miss New Domino City but Im so happy to be with our parents! We never got to spend much time with them for so many years!" Chazz butts in: "Yeah yeah family family blah blah blah! Who needs a family, I dont when my brothers are annoying and crazy!" "But youre annoying and crazy!" "No YOU are!" I shake my head and yell: "Will you two knock it off?! Youre better than this Leo and we are looking for anything useful to solve what happened in this world! Chazz, shut it with your sassy jerk attitude or go fly a kite! I dont want to hear arguing, it stresses me out." "Hey at least I dont wear adult sized baby clothes and dresses because its apparently fun! I cant stand how different you are just like how I cant stand Jaden!" "I am not going to reply, you are just gonna be blabbing all day all night, I tried to stop this argument but I now leave it." Leo yells at Chazz: "Stop being mean to me and our friend here! Im sorry okay! You just annoyed me and I forgive you!"
The two keep arguing so I tune them out as I am focused on our mission. Soon, we are on duel runners with Chazz riding with me having no choice and all I see is images of Eggman`s face everywhere it can be: on billboards, street signs, restaurant fronts, store windows, shopping carts, cars, hotels, vending machines.. Chazz out of nowhere punches me: "Hey you slacker! Why dont you say anything?" "For your information, Id be a Ra Yellow student at Duel Academy if I applied and got accepted there. Nothing against Slifer Red but you need to update your insults Chazz. Im trying to look for stuff and you are making it increasingly difficult especially when its a sea of Eggman`s face everywhere we go! Im also trying to steer this runner so can it!" "Oh I will can it if you and Leo can beat me in a duel! You seem unharmed by my punch so with my cards, I will give you something to be harmed by!" "I accept your challenge, Chazz! You go first so I can give you a shock! That is if Leo accepts of course." Leo adds: "I accept and Chazz, we will beat you as fast as we can! You win and we start walking instead but if we win, you stop arguing!" "We will use our duel disks in a typical battle royale style but it wont also be a turbo or action duel."
"Whatever like I care! We`ll start with 4000 life points! I draw! Using this spell card in my hand, I summon Ojama Yellow, Ojama Black, and Ojama Green onto my field in defense mode from my hand! Now I set 2 cards facedown, your move Adam!" "You asked for it sucker, its my move! Draw! I set the Pendulum scale with scale 3 Rebellious Painting Artist Marshall and scale 10 Horror Artist Terry The Terror! In battle royale, none of us can attack until your next turn, Chazz! Now I will Pendulum summon the tuner monster Horror Artist Artistic Nightmare, Digital Artist Copperhead, and another tuner Death Metal Musical Artist Typhis!" "Before you make your next move, I activate Ojama Delta Hurricane to destroy all cards on your field! I can do this since all 3 Ojamas are out on my field! Now you cant do anything! Ive beaten you before my 2nd turn practically! This duel is being Chazz`d up!" "You forced my hand! I activate Terry`s Pendulum ability! For every 1000 life points I pay, I can save one card on my field from destruction! I save the 3 monsters I Pendulum summoned, leaving me with only 1000 life points! Nice try! Now you will face my full power, Im glad my deck has more less broken card saving effects, keeps things balanced but thats beside the point! My point is I knew you would try something like that, I know the kind of humiliation you have made people feel with your Ojama cards and I also know the irony of the relationship you have with the 3 Ojama brothers quite well! Now watch as I shake you to the core! I overlay my 3 level 6 monsters in order to Xyz summon the first stage of your defeat! Meet Fusion Destroyer Cyber Warrior(ATK: 3000, DEF: 1)! Designed in case the Fusion dimension attacks another dimension again, its the perfect counter to the likes of Ojama King and Ojama Knight so if youre thinking about using that Ojama token combo on me, think again!"
Our duel is interrupted as a sudden explosion goes off very close by. Chazz demands: "What is the meaning of this?! We are the middle of a duel here! Actually, whatever. Im still going so make your move Adam or you forfeit!" A silly little robot known to deliver explosive messages to Sonic from Eggman shows his face: "Darn it, you didnt listen to me and now youre not only getting an explosion, you will now face our wrath!" "Just shut it for a bit! Or I will use Cyber Warrior to fry your circuits! Okay! I am completing my turn! When I Xyz summon using a tuner monster, I can summon Moldable Artistic Slime in defense mode(ATK: 0, DEF: 800)! Since I Xyz summoned a non artist monster, my slime makes my monster have its name include Artist in it for now on! Next Cyber Warrior`s ability activates! By using one overlay unit, I can add a spell card of my choice from my deck to my hand! And the one I choose is Artist World, a field spell which I play now! It gives all artists on the field 500 extra attack points and has many other abilities I will show later! When Typis is sent to the graveyard to activate a effect, I can resummon them onto my field in attack mode but their attack, defense, and abilities are now zeroed out and they cannot switch battle modes. I tune Typis with Artistic Slime to synchro summon Horror Artist Terror Fairy 2.0(ATK: 4000{original 3500}, DEF: 2000)! I end there!" Chazz makes Leo and I ride off away from who he deems even more annoying only for us to run into a huge roadblock as Leo ends his turn with Life Stream Dragon on his field and some facedowns. "You dorks, I draw! And I sacrifice Ojama Yellow to summon Armed Dragon Lvl 5 to my field! See ya annoying Ojama Yellow!"
Ojama Green and Ojama Black protest the decision: "You cant do that to our friend still." "Oh but I can! Maybe I should have stayed in the Society Of Light so I wouldnt have to deal with any of you. I reveal Pot Of Greed to draw 2 cards! Next I activate Armed Dragon Lvl 5`s ability to destroy Life Stream Dragon by discarding a monster card with higher attack points like my Armed Dragon Lvl 9!" Chazz is so fed up with everyone and everything, he starts attacking everyone and everything with his dragon, breaking rules and so on.. So I have to fight back with my monsters as Leo`s Life Stream Dragon is revived. An ambush suddenly happens as Eggman`s other main loyal servant robots combine and destroy our duel runners, forcing the duel to terminate but Armed Dragon Lvl 5 remains and continues rampaging in reflection of Chazz`s extreme anger and hatred.. "Chazz stop doing this, are you nuts?! I pull out my sword now to deal with you and Armed Dragon myself! Surrender now or I will send your dragon packing quite intensely!" "No I will not give up! In fact, I break the rules again so I can bring out level 12 Armed Dragon!" "What has gotten into you?!" "Im using that solid vision arc technology to devastate everyone and everything in my way!" Leo tackles him, allowing me some time to try to repair our duel runners with some magic and stuff. Sadly, I am suddenly attacked from behind by those combined servants of Eggman`s, the attack catches me so off guard that I am soon trapped in one of the hands of the combined robots named Decoe and Becoe. I struggle in the grip, unable to move as Chazz continues to destroy while Leo gets Life Stream Dragon back into things.
However, Leo`s returned Mark of The Crimson Dragon glows as the Crimson Dragon appears to swallow us and our vehicles up, sending the 3 of us with the others to a time where Sonic and co are fighting Eggman secretly while Station Square is still on the ground, having been captured not too long back. Akiza exclaims: "Well that solves the whole time traveling to stop Eggman sooner problem." That is when the Quantum Leap bands all break apart and I laugh nervously: "Yeah and I forgot that these bands still havent been able to allow for time travel or even survive time travel, its tech with flaws, all tech has flaws even Dominic`s as you can see.. Well, we`re stuck on this world now because those bands were connected to the tech gadget network which is now down because of them.. No phone calls to Cornburry, no dueling with my duel disk for now, and so on.. Duel runners arent in that network thankfully." Yusei adds: "Im going to fix these runners, give me a hand Bruno and be on the lookout, Jack. Anything can happen. Everyone else, stay with your teammates that remain in your groups. This is going to be tough. But I did make Ener D a safe energy source which is good so fixing these runners will be pretty easy for me and Bruno. I still remember when Bruno was revived after sacrificing himself to save me and teach me Delta Accel Synchro summoning." Yusei and Bruno chat away as they work together so Leo and I get to deal with Chazz. "Why did we have to go back in time? I hate it here."
"Oh Im sorry, are you that mad?! Look my butt hurts and I dont need to hear it. For reals, chill, we went back in time to have a better chance of winning and not dying. Sonic and friends are fighting Eggman during this time, they know how to fight him better than we do. If you recall, you wrecked everything and Im almost on the verge of punching you in the face. But I hate unnecessary violence so youre safe. Now that we are in the past, I bet we will find actual clues as to what led to whats happening now. And are those police sirens? Are those police cars with images of Eggman`s face on them as logos? Those officers are armed, leave this to me, I got this hickey doodle dinguses!" "No I will fight them myself and Chazz it up!" "You will not! This is where my skills apply best so just stop, you have caused enough calamity as it is. I bet Eggman is looking for all of us in the present with all his servants and soon enough, they could invade Cornburry which would be very bad but we cant know because we`re stuck here with no way to get back to Cornburry." "No this will be all me, let me take on these coppers so I can Chazz them up!" "Your fighting skills outside of dueling are pretty much not great and these coppers look ready to blast us if they have to." I go ahead and take care of the police myself as Leo annoys Chazz to distract him from literally everything else. "Hey officers, you want to blast me if you have to in order to arrest us correct? Well, Im not going to let that happen and while Im at it, get some information out of you because I would like to know what the heck is up with Eggman somehow taking over this planet when Sonic and friends have thwarted him time and time again."
The chief says drawing his gun: "Son, we`re going to have to use any force necessary to stop you unless you give up now." "I dont think so, try shooting at me, I dare you!" All the officers open fire on me and I simply dodge the bullets alongside slashing some apart: "You arent supposed to bring a gun to a fight of strength ya know, you will lose always to the most coordinated sword fighters. That is your downfall, you wont win this engagement!" The officers are shocked as I gradually take down all of their guns and whatever else they have that is a threat in sight. Its not even a challenge, youd think Eggman would make sure the police were better trained. I grab the shirt of the police chief: "Listen, you better tell me everything you know about Eggman`s conquest of Earth because I have friends who would scare you far more than I do now. If you dont, I will get all those friends to help me which wont be a very pretty sight to see!" The chief sighs heavily: "Fine.. We are loyal to Eggman but once we were against him.. Some dark power came forth in Eggman and made him and his machines stronger so he invaded Europe. The Europeans did not stand a chance, our country tried to nuke him while he was headed for Japan but that failed and many innocents were lost instead. Things only continued to be more hopeless, California was overrun after Tokyo fell and from there, he eventually arrived to here: Station Square. Sonic did not stand a chance but I wish he and his friends would give up, Eggman has won and gained our loyalty, there is no hope for them or you and whoever you came here with. Therefore, you will be coming with us so we can learn your plans to stop Eggman and we will use deadly force! After all, Eggman with his brains was able to convert us all into robots who can combine together to destroy you! My officers, join with me into one being who can destroy this rebel scum!"
The combining is very smooth almost just like with the combining of Meklord Emperor parts into Granel, Skiel, and Wisel. I am faced with a huge police machine thing that moves quickly and attacks fiercely and I honest sweat until Chazz comes and yells at me: "You should have let me, now youre going to be destroyed! You slacker, you are no better than Jaden!" "Whatever, lets see if either of us stand a chance against this monster." The chief speaks through that thing: "Monster? No, you are the monsters and we will show you that! Monsters are freaks of flesh who dont conform to Eggman`s world!" The first true attack begins, sending both me and Chazz back. I dont bother seeing who Chazz tries to do as I go all in to put a stop to this madness myself. And I dont get a hit in at all. Its just a constant series of attacks that never seem to end while the sound of ice cream truck plays randomly from the thing for no reason at all whatsoever.. "You officers should have been scrapped so long ago and now we`ll scrap you instead!" "No Im the one whos doing the work and trash talking around here! Get lost just like Ojama Yellow loser!" "It is not nice to call your teammate that but you can keep rambling all you want, Im not going to attack you in response because Im trying not to die or be locked up in jail somewhere! We are losing and all you are doing is making threats that dont do anything! I wish you would have been traded out for Syrus but Brayden wanted you in the adventure group since she saw that you need to learn how to be a team player!"
"I only duel for myself! Im Chazz Princeton! I broke free of my brothers and learned how to work extremely hard when I worked for Aster Phoenix! I wont bow down to anyone but myself!" "You are extremely valid for that but this is about being free not being independent of others and showing one`s worth! Dude, you really dont get it! Leo, come on and help us out here, let`s show Chazz once again what teamwork is!" "Coming!" Leo summons Life Stream Dragon and I power up my sword. As his dragon powers up to attack the machine, I aim my sword in the direction of the enemy. Just like that, the battle is over with the machine being totally and completely destroyed, Im sure the minds of the officers are somewhere online by now! Chazz points where it was with a shocked face: "But it was just HERE! How did you wipe it out so easily and quickly?" I pat him on the shoulder: "Its because we coordinated our attacks to do maximum damage, machines generally have a great weakness life forms of flesh do not have, a different set of vulnerabilities!" Leo leads the way to wherever we may roam as I pull Chazz along who is still in shock. Unfortunately, he takes a wrong turn which leads to a dead end in an alleyway.. That is when the way we came closes off mysteriously, trapping us inside with no way to get out: no manhole cover, windows, doors, ladders, steps, ramps, elevators, or anything, its just an alleyway full of stinky trash.. The smell brings Chazz back to Earth: "Aaa we`re trapped in an alleyway! Adam, you will pay for this!" "But I wasnt the one who led us here, Leo did and had no idea we would end up trapped here for possibly the rest of our days until we die of thirst, hunger, or timeline erasing!"
"Leo! I will pound you for being such a slacker for not knowing where you are going!" "Hey cool it! Youre the one who doesnt stop getting mad at everything! I was trying to find us more information about what caused the history of this Earth to be altered! You wanna duel again? I want to settle this in a duel!" "Easy now Leo, if you keep reacting Chazz is only going to get angrier and try to make us wish we were never born harder!" "Since when were you a behavior expert?!" "Im pretty sure Adam is not one, they just know that you are acting ridiculous! My Morphtronic deck could beat your Ojama deck!" "My deck is not an Ojama deck!" "Leo is right that it is. And also right that Im not a behavior expert! Can it for reals now!" "I`ll do what I like thanks very much!" "Youre such a bug sometimes, I would also duel you but on tabletop because my duel disk doesnt work right now and we dont have a spare duel disk lying around! Mr Know It All! *slaps Chazz* You deserve that! I dont really do that stuff to a teammate but you have crossed the line almost the entire time we have been on this team with you! Just quit already, we are tired of it!" Chazz punches both me and Leo in response: "You cant make me do anything! I refuse to fulfill your demands! Im a Princeton, Princetons make sure they get what they want and I am no exception!" "Can we just duel already? I wanna use my Morphtronics! Im an awesome duelist!" "Look kid, the only thing awesome about you is how much you fail!" "Thats not true! Take it back!" "No I wont Leo!" Leo and I both punch Chazz in his stomach: "Oww that hurt! Why would you do this to me? A Princeton is not supposed to be touched that way!"
"Dude.. Princeton this, Princeton that! I summon Regnes from the spirit world to finally take care of once and for all! I cant summon anything else at this time as I am feeling the effects of exhaustion from this whole adventure already! Regnes, give him a scare he will never forget! Dont seriously hurt him though! Id like him to be rattled and be able to recover in order to resume fighting against Eggman`s cronies and eventually Eggman himself!" Regnes has magic of his own alongside artistic skills and fighting tactics. He plays scary music made to make the souls of mortals tremble in fright before transforming into the Chaos Number version of himself with some extra scary stuff. Leo is so terrified surprisingly so I comfort him as this goes on. Regnes shuts Chazz up before he can finish uttering a vowel with a glare: "You Chazz Princeton are a mortal fool who has helped save worlds and existence itself in the past. You are a fool because doing good has not made you a noble person which will ultimately lead to an early doom for you. Hear these words and hear them well, I am giving you the only true warning of what will happen if you dont further relax your attitude towards others. If you dont change, I might return to make you look into your heart once again." Regnes then uses the darkness of the alleyway to move around undetected, Chazz is so frightened and yet angry that he goes and chases around for Regnes only to recieve jumpscare after jumpscare all designed to make him look inside himself better than ever before.
"My scares for you wont stop just yet, I just your fear to overtake your anger so you can see inside as the time you will live through slowly decrease in number day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, second by second." The terror is interrupted by an ambush attack as a wall is destroyed, revealing Decoe and Becoe combined again, Regnes states: "The terror of fear I generate will have to wait and I must defend my home world, I will see you again Chazz either as a being of your nightmares or as a benig of light and hope, the choice is yours to make, be rational not foolish." A different brand of fear appears for me, Chazz, and Leo as Decoe and Becoe are not messing around, being now a combined menace just like in the present day. Decoe says: "You will not stand in the way of Eggman!" Become adds: "And we will make of that! The dark energy that flows through us will be how we beat all of you in this battle where you have no place to run or hide! We arent letting you get out!" Chazz is running around terrified while Leo and I bravely stand our ground.
Decoe speaks once more: "With these cards from a lost timeline we found, you are going to go down! I summon Meklord Emperor Wisel Infinity, Wisel Top, Wisel Attack, Wisel Guard, and Wisel Carrier! Next I also summon Meklord Emperor Skiel Infinity, Skiel Top, Skiel Attack, Skiel Guard, and Skiel Carrier!" Becoe again adds: "I now summon Meklord Emperor Granel Infinity, Granel Top, Granel Attack, Granel Guard, and Granel Carrier! We have Eggman to thank for making this all possible!" I comment: "Eggman minions with the Meklord Emperors of the 3 emperors of Illiaster? This is bad news for us, I remember many of their abilities not just how they can absorb synchro monsters.. Leo, you are well aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the Meklord Emperors as well so thats good!" Granel blasts Chazz who is forced to use the Ojamas to defend having activated his duel disk. Decoe is just pure mean when he says: "Lucky move but we will turn all of you into mush starting with you black haired punk with a huge attitude!" Becoe finishes his statement: "Youre the weak link after all and we have the upper hand now!" Chazz responds with: "Oh yeah? I have Armed Dragon Lvl 12! You metal slackers dont stand a chance! The attack points of Skiel and Wisel do not protect them from my Armed Dragon! I will now attack both of them!" Decoe laughs: "You sad human! I use the effects of both guards to take the hit for them and I now summon the level 3 versions of the guards in order to replace them! And now we will show no mercy! Fire away Meklord Emperors! Oh wait.. We are behind Eggman`s lair.. And destroying everything will mean you brats will be able to escape for us!" "Since this is not a duel, I can keep breaking the rules like you! And next time, dont have a lame plan to gets in your way! I will Chazz you up!"
The 3 Ojamas chant: "Chazz it up!" to the annoyance of Chazz: "Shut up you 3 or I will send you to the graveyard even though I dont need to right now! You are the ace of my deck Ojama Yellow but I still cant stand you! Dont think for a second that I love any of you 3 because I dont!" Armed Dragon Lvl 12 just keeps attacking as the Meklord Emperors are left unable to do much due to the confined space, guard after guard is destroyed and after they`re finally gone, not even the carriers can protect the emperors as they all fall apart! I compliment Chazz: "Impressive, you got a monster out that did the emperors in easily and managed to figure out the strength and weakness of the emperors without ever being told about it, you were informed about the emperors but there was no time to explain their abilities when you were told." "Whatever, just shut up and leave me alone, I will take these annoying robots on myself! Armed Dragon Lvl 12 and Ojamas, you are dismissed!" Chazz then proceeds to try to beat up the fused Decoe and Becoe only to fall back every time and be increasing hurt by his rash behavior. It gets to a point where I can just poke Chazz to make him stop and take care of the 2 myself, I managed to do some damage already while Chazz tried to himself. Become and Decoe fight me shockingly well but that doesnt deter me at all, their parts are quite tough to slash through but recalling weathering and erosion from science class, I apply the same concept to make their robotic arms fall right off, it is a painful and tiring task, Leo himself is too exhausted to help out in anyway after all that running around dodging constant attacks prior.
Im the only one of us 3 who can stand running around for a while sometimes without feeling wiped out so thats how Im able to keep going. Decoe and Becoe say the same thing at once in outrage: "You just dont give up no matter how much we push you and now youre going to beat us! This isnt fair!" I grin: "My body happens to be doing extremely great today, thank goodness for all that new training Ive had recently! Now your loss is coming soon enough unless you can launch explosives at me from inside your joined form or something." They argue with one another so I use the chance to deal so much damage that after so much effort, the 2 are unable to do battle anymore, thank goodness that all is over because that was excruciating! Chazz is again shocked: "No way! I was supposed to take them down, not you!" "Flesh and bones aint got nothing by themselves against pure metal! Bone may be pound by pound stronger than steel but the flesh, skin, and more are very sensitive therefore making it impossible to shatter the limits the power of bones are binded to. We are going to Eggman`s lair whether you like it or not Chazz, you can stay here and rest or fight and be a major pain who cant do much. Leo, lets leave this place through that giant hole that was made." Decoe and Becoe protest: "Dont leave us here!" I state: "This world is on a timeline that shouldnt have come to be, you two in this timeline will cease to exist eventually so you will be okay in a way. We got enough to do as it is, we certainly dont need you 2 as extra weight.. I apologize to you both but we have no choice but to leave you here.."
Chazz adds: "Im not sticking around in some dump with 2 annoying robots who tried to kill me! Later robot losers!" The 3 of us all head to Eggman`s lair which was so conveniently pointed out earlier by our now defeated foes. It takes a while for any of us to get in there because we are exhausted and additionally surprised there are no guards around, the door to the lair is even just wide open, too suspicious but its also too late to turn back. Chazz exclaims as the door closes after us: "What gives?! Are we going to be trapped in here too?!" Eggman appears laughing: "Why yes you are but since Becoe and Decoe wore you down enough, the 3 of you wont be escaping anytime soon! I will get those 2 failures repaired and reprogrammed, they are too annoying for their own good. No one can stop the evolution of Eggmanland now that its here mwahahahaha!" We are soon falling into a cell of some kind due to the classic secret trapdoor being opened.. Inside, we meet a also captured Amy along with a pile of what looks like failed robots.. Eggman comes down and says: "Oh and I forgot to mention, you will get to play with creations of mine that didnt turn out so well and get one meal a day! Thanks for stopping by the Eggman lair, enjoy your permanent stay, we dont offer room service here hehehehehe!" Once Eggman is gone, Amy finally speaks: "Will Eggman ever shut up? Hes captured almost all of my friends but at least my love Sonic is still out there somewhere destroying Eggman`s robots.. But until he saves me, I want to give Eggman a piece of my HAMMER! *suddenly calms down* And who might you be, Ive never had any roommates since Eggman captured me! Im Amy! Nice to meet you! You better be nice to me or I will hit you with my hammer and it wont be pretty or as lovely as a bunch of flowers!"
Chazz is about to say something witty but gives up, trembling at the thought of her wrath due to his continued suffering and the lesson Regnes tried to teach him. I cut to the chase with Amy as I introduce ourselves: "In another timeline, we know each other but my name is Adam, the angry black haired dude is Chazz, and the other dude is Leo! We are not of this world, time, or universe but whats more important is getting out of here. You have any ideas? Im just tired, just hurt much personally so when I recover, I can use my sword for well anything since Eggman didnt take any of our stuff and we didnt lose any of it either at all which I am extremely thankful for." "Now that you 3 are here, I was thinking of annoying our other roommates so much that Eggman has to come down and through that distraction, we can go through a secret tunnel I dug as Ive been here for months! Then I can hit Eggman and his other robots like Becoe and Decoe with my hammer!" I cant help but laugh: "Great plan but Becoe and Decoe are out of commission right now since we managed to defeat those 2 after we were trapped in an alley with no way to escape unless we beat them! I have some ideas on how to annoy those robots! Just trust me as I will try my ideas now!" First up is intentionally singing badly a bunch of nonsense: "Look at that wall its a banana and Eggman is a chicken egg! Lalalala those bars could be chocolate or butt! I am not spinning around because Im not pooping! Floor is dump with large brown mass that smells like pee! Aaaaaa scream no reason fart fart fart Im trash!" And I keep on going till I feel like stopping causing Chazz to yell at me: "Stop with the annoying nonsense! Stop being dumb with words, what are you trying to do? If thats the best you got, I will annoy those robots myself and use the Ojamas if I have to!"
It soon becomes a contest of who can manage to annoy the discarded robots and eventually Chazz actually wins and really shoves his victory in our faces. The annoyance of the robots becomes lots of loud noises, causing Eggman to rush in and react over the pure chaos as the robots attack each other thinking they themselves were annoying one another. Amy, Chazz(who is miraculously able to crawl himself), myself, and Leo all go through the tunnel and end up near the front door of the facility, automatically setting off security alarms. With mangled robot parts in his hands, Eggman runs upstairs to us and freaks out, getting confused and furious. Amy makes the first move, wacking him in the head with her hammer: "AMY! Oww! I forgot how much that hurts! Robots, take care of these escaped rebels, I wont let the Eggman Empire fall to them as this lair is the true capital of my empire! No one would think a lair is a capital especially when I made my capital out to be New Eggman City instead, could have gone with Eggmanning, E.C but New Eggman City is much more populated! I will have a word with Becoe and Decoe now as I retrieve them from that alleyway! North Eggmerica is the most profitable continent! Now Im going, follow my orders robots or else you will be scrapped permanently and replaced!" A whole bunch of robots show up ready to run us all over and leave nothing not attacked.. I realize that we are pretty screwed upon seeing this unfold and utter: "Eggman has an unstoppable force of robots here surrounding us, theres no way we can defeat them all, we can fight as much as we want but by the time we are tired out, they will stop come for us, theres robots as far as the eye can see so much so that theres layers of robots standing on another for support, we cant see much of anything except for these robots.. If Im going down, Im going to go down fighting! The mass of robots provides them a strength and a weakness! Check it out! There may not be much hope for us but the others can come here with some of these machines taken down already for them, that will be the ideal thing after all! Hiya! Flame Spiral Slash! Ha!"
My attack knocks some robots down before I attack all of them with my sword making sure to smartly do so in order to disable them with as little effort as possible, I need to save my strength for the other thousands of robots, there are just so fricking many and this lair place is huge! I have no time to do anything else but keep attacking and also blocking attack after attack but through the doom of lots of bots, myself and the others are given some breathing room which allows for some other tactics to be able to come to play as each robot is fast moving but they now have to cross an increasing distance to get close to us. Hope increases only for Chazz and Leo to collapse tired and soon enough, Amy and I join them, being cramped by the swarm of vicious robots shortly thereafter.. Hope has now died, we literally cannot get out of our situation, there are just so many and we dont have any more energy to fight with. I close my eyes to brace for whatever is supposed to happen to us now only to hear the sound of several revving engines and a loud crash! Yusei, Akiza, Crow, and Bruno on their duel runners speed through the robots and manage to rescue the 4 of us as it appears Yusei realized we were here.. We regroup in the large space cleared from all the defeated robots, the other robots are too afraid to try anything. Yusei asks: "What happened to you four?" I weakly reply: "Captured by Eggman and left exhausted by a horde of robots that never stopped coming even through we beat a minority of them that numbers in the hundreds.. How did you find us?"
Jaden replies joining the conversation: "It wasnt the power of the signers that found you though that did help in us knowing that you were in trouble, Yubel was able to find you 4 exhausted unable to move and good thing too because it wouldnt have been too much longer till all of you would be goners! Awesome moves Yusei, Bruno, Crow, and Akiza!" They all reply: "It was nothing!" Sonic`s voice is then heard: "Hey can we drop on by at this party too?" Jack replies: "Why not, not even my Burning Soul will be able to beat Eggman at his cheap robotics game." "Sweet!" Sonic shows up with Tails, Knuckles, Cream, and Cheese, all determined to beat down Eggman today. Knuckles upon not seeing Eggman yells: "EGGMAN! Where are you hiding? I got a score to settle with how you stole most of the Master Emerald! Where are you cowards?!" A hologram of Eggman appears: "Sorry Knuckles but I am far too busy to fight you and the others now, Im looking to turn my 2 useless defeated robots into your destruction! Not even with those Meklord Emperors could they win. Just enjoy the robot army housewarming gift for now or at least while you still can mwahahaha!" The appearances of everyone including Blaze turns the tide of the fight against that huge absurd army. Akiza being a medical professional is able to get use 4 who were beaten down recovered and such which is a complete relief. Therefore, I feel like I can resume fighting and resume fighting I shall! Charging towards the robots with sword in hand, I smirk: "Time for round 2! I dont take too kindly to unfair fights, sadly for you this fight isnt unfair in your favor and now youre really going to get it now! What a miracle I am able to fight again after the pain and exhaustion Ive been through but I will utilize this 2nd chance as best as I can! Speaking of, hey Yusei? Wheres my duel runner?"
Yusei stops fighting to get it for me from outside so when I am now on it once again, I thank him and Bruno: "Now time for a turnaround! My duel runner suddenly has a new built in duel disk for duels involving it! Awesome! I needed this! I now activate the action field Crossover alongside Speed World 2! Time to switch some of my cards around in my deck! *does all that* Now its time to really ride! I draw!" Within a minute, I have all of my ace monsters out and am ready to use the power of the runner to get them attacking the robots far faster than I ever did alone!" With our combined efforts, the robot army has no chance as it is only decimated more and more until all of them have been destroyed! "Success! Take that Eggman!" Sonic adds: "Yeah Egghead, we`re coming for you now!" With an enraged look on his face, Eggman reappears: "How dare you defeat my army! I spent so many materials on creating it! It defeated the United States and the rest of the world! Fine, you win that battle but you wont win this war! I wont allow it!" The bald headed villain gets on his famous device that hes almost always in and uses it to attack us. In response, Yusei and Bruno use Delta Accel Synchro summoning meanwhile I ponder over as I evade attacks whether I can pull that off too.
So I say: "From my hand, I activate the speed spell Grave Tuning! This allows me to tune monsters in my graveyard with ones on my field but I can only tune 4 monsters from my graveyard and they must be treated as level 1 monsters! I can use this card when I have 8 or more speed counters! Additionally, I must banish the monsters in my graveyard I use to synchro summon! So with that I tune Master Painting Artist Synchro Selena my newest ace with Musical Artist Jammer and Drawing Artist Franz Fox! Unleash the power of Delta Accel Synchro!" Time and space are warped before me as I accelerate my duel runner to insane speed and soon witness a whole tunnel of color and stuff, a card even forms in my hand! Emerging from all that, I have a new synchro monster: "Legendary Master Drawing Artist Ray! I summon you! And now my monsters, its time for us to start fighting that Eggman together! His famous machine has a lot of upgrades that increase its defense and fire power at the same time! What a dingus Eggman is! Y`all keep going, Im going to get off this runner to join in on the fun!" Eggman watches as I run towards him with my sword as high up as I can make it be. Through that and a sudden diversion, my sword connects with that machine but doesnt do anything helpful.. My body jots instead due to a extremely powerful electrical force field..
Eggman giggles: "You really thought it would be that easy to damage my machine? Why of course not! I made this as advanced as I could, you wont win because Im untouchable in it and now that youre feeling the shock, Im going to finish you off myself!" I brace myself unable to do anything but watch as Eggman fires some sort of plasma blast at me with a cosmic aura around it. "That was so quick! Eggman, you mad lad! It may be over for me now but the others will still fight to beat you even if Im obliterated into nothing! You will not stop our team so easily! We know more about what we are dealing with so now the others can be wiser unless they are Chazz, hes a bone head." Chazz`s voice exclaims: "Who are you calling a bone head? Im saving you from that coward you dork!" He jumps in at the last second and blocks the attack with the Ojama brothers` combined power. "Why did you save me Chazz? I thank you but why, you have little regard for a lot of people!" "When we were in that cell trying to escape, I thought things over. I may be easy to irritate but Im not going to let that stop me from beung useful when Im a mission! That doesnt mean I like it, it means I just want to do something that isnt lying around and/or being totally dumb!" Eggman points at him: "How dare you interrupt the perfect defeat of one of my other foes?! I use the 7 chaos emeralds to make my machine more powerful and freeze time so I can defeat all of you without any of you realizing how I am! Hahahahaha! You had your chance to beat me but you completely blew it! So funny, I cant still laughing! Hahahaha!" Time becomes still but somehow my mind is still functioning while my body isnt.. However, the signers and Jaden are immune to the time stopping.
Yusei with a serious look is ready to respond: "Eggman, you may be able to have control over the flow of time but we have powers that allow us to be immune to any changes to time! You might as well make time move again because we will just stop you from attacking the others!" Jaden joins in: "Thats right villain, we arent going down so simply! The powers of Yubel and the Supreme King make me immune to any of this kind of stuff, your time as ruler of this Earth is running out! I wish Jesse and the others could be here to see of this! Go Elemental Hero Shining Neos!" "Go Shooting Quasar Dragon!" The combined attacks force Eggman to restore the flow of time and now that Im free, Im ready to give Eggman a piece of my mind again!" I make goofy faces to distract Eggman, leaving him vulnerable to a combined strike that creates a weak point in his thing`s electrical barrier due to the excessive force used to attack him just now. In response, Eggman grits his teeth and brings out a whole bunch of devices to attack all of us. I face a massive freeze ray so I defend with the power of fire! "Trying to turn me into a popsicle are you? Thats not going to work when I control the power of fire with my own 2 hands! That training I did mostly during this Covid era for my world and some other worlds did wonders for my magical abilities!" Eggman has been made to not move in order to more effectively target all of us at once which gives me the ability to walk closer to the freeze ray before screaming at the thing, the vibrations of which splatter the constant blast around. I am then able to switch to use light in one hand and fire still in my other hand. With the light, I cut through the freeze ray, thus destroying it. I then of course help destroy some of the other weapons that were unleashed so I can get back to attacking, aiming for that weak spot. Thats when I have an awesome but extremely dangerous idea considering I am literally a walking lightning rod with my sword and armor but Im willing to take the chance!
"Regnes, give Eggman something to scream in terror about! This will allow me to do a dumb plan that might cause me to be freshly overcooked human meat when all is said and done!" Running in with my sword, I coordinate to line the blade up with the weak spot not to attack it but to make contact with it. Regnes has to stop being scary as Eggman ups the intensity of his machine so much so that the weak spot begins to close. "I must hurry! Charge!" Picking up the pace, I move as fast as I can to touch that weak spot with my sword. As expected, the electricity starts to come off of that monstrosity. But as a price, the electricity flows through my sword onto me, Eggman sees: "Noooo! Youre taking away the first layer of protection and I am too busy to stop you! But oh well, youll be fried up by the end of this which means I will have no less annoyance to deal with!" Leo and several others in unison urge me: "Adam, please dont hurt yourself, we need you!" Yusei just smiles: "Adam is willingly self-sacrificing for the team and Adam`s got it in them to possibly survive this mostly intact." I begin to suffer the consequences: "My muscles are twitching, the pain rages through my body, mind, and spirit! Owww! It hurts so much! It hurts so much! I cant move! It only gets worse, I wont stop but the punishment grows! All I feel is pain and my blood practically wants to boil! This is what its like to have so much electricity but no power to control or withstand it! Considering I cant really move a muscle besides what is needed for my body to still function and me to keep talking, theres nothing I can do but take all this electricity! I cant activate a special ability Regnes has to negate all battle damage I take to 0 and Regnes is a card who will not respond to anyone else trying to use his power! Just my luck!"
Eggman just laughs at my expense trying to make himself feel better as he is struggling against everyone else more and more as the electricity moves into me instead of protecting the only thing standing in our way to defeating him with what would practically be a clap in internet meme speak! But that doesnt last much longer as my pain increases while the electrical barrier disappears completely. With no more increase in electrical input, I am able to move around just barely enough with my arm that the electricity starts to move into the sword itself instead of flowing onto me! Eggman`s face is priceless and thats what makes it all worth it as his defenses are now being picked apart quite fast, the synchro monsters even make a big hole while attacking! I am forced to stay standing and not move till the paralysis decreases enough but I get to witness the total destruction of that dang machine thing just as Eggman evacuates out of it. It just totally goes kaboom! With Eggman`s facial hair now burned at, he pulls out another weapon in agony and anger. It actually is dangerous as it forces all of the Duel Monsters out to retreat in order to avoid being hit by the thing. The final stage of the battle is here and wow did victory turn into dread so very quickly.. Still cant move but at least my muscles are starting to loosen up now.. With the help of Yubel, Jaden is able to dodge the attack but the attack does almost hit Sonic but Knuckle`s claws and Amy`s hammer are able to take the hit on behalf of the attack block done by Amy and Knuckles which is super ironic. Tails then hands Sonic the chaos emeralds that got scattered in the explosion.
Eggman`s weapon is easily destroyed by the chaos emeralds only for Eggman to reveal he basically is invincible thanks to the high tech version of his outfit. I am soon able to move my arms again as the villain laughs: "You all cant defeat me, youve become tired and hurt! With enough time, I will win by default! The Eggman Empire is here to stay!" I smirk again pointing my sword at him: "Are you sure about that? I may in unbearable pain but I still can function even with the addition of my arms and legs trembling and hurting my feet via exhaustion pain in the process!" His laugh turns to a look of fear: "No! You absorbed a lot of my barrier into your sword!" "Precisely and while a lot of the electricity went off to who knows where, theres still enough to finish you off! Im not fine but this all is letting me smile and Im totally going to milk this smile with you left unable to do anything about that fact! Say goodbye to all your twisted hopes and dreams Eggman! Because you are going down with your own electricity! I unleash the electricity in and on my sword to strike you! Say uncle, Eggman! Bahahahaha! Ow my legs are stiff and that hurts!"
The electricity transfers onto Eggman, shocking him to the core and at the end of it, he is on the ground actually saying: "Uncle! Uncle! I give up! Just spare me! I will do anything to not be detained by the United Nations! I will give up Eggmanland, just please let me be free and treat my injuries!" I grin: "Okay then how about you be a good person now and stop being evil! Your plans have been foiled time and time again and even when you managed to realize your dream, it failed because we time and space hoppers came to put a stop to your tyranny! In the original timeline of this world, you werent ever supposed to succeed in forming your Eggman Empire! Funny how you picked Station Square to be your headquarters." "Be good? Never! Time and space travel? Impossible, you must be delusional people from mid North Eggmerica! But how did you manage to beat me?" "Dude, youre defeated and weak, we got you down for the count and have the power to further bring you down! If you want proof that we are not of this time or world, let me show you something! *points to a above view of Cornburry featuring a time and date in the corner* We came from this place, you can even kind of see me with my long red hair somewhere in this photo!" "But this cannot be, theres no way!" "Youre a supervillain genius, what are you blabbing about, did you forget your theoretical science or something?" "Okay okay I believe you but I refuse to be good!" "We can literally make it so that you never create this Eggman Empire and are thus never defeated this badly if you make a time machine for us and play nice while making it. Akiza here will even heal your electrically injured body before healing mine once she heals herself first of course!"
"Never be defeated this badly? But I dont want to forget how I achieved my dreams!" "I was referring to your original self as this timeline would be erased, erasing you yourself and all your pain! Dont you want your other self to keep being evil for years to come?" "Okay I will help but dont bother me after Im done with that time machine, I know how to travel through time!" "Good, you better get working as soon as you can, we dont want to be waiting around for years while we remain stuck here for who knows how long. The power that brought us to this time is currently resting right now." Eggman after being healed softens in attitude while Akiza manages to make sure I recover from my own electrically induced pain and suffering. "Thank you.. Akiza was it? Im Eggman as you know and I think youre beautiful." "Thanks but Im taking care of a patient right now. You can talk to me after you finish that time machine for us." Eggman`s face sinks, feeling the sting of rejection only to shrug it off but its no big deal.. Suspicious.. As he goes on to working on that time machine, I hear him talk to others about the genius behind his inventions and how he`s glad he never finished fixing Decoe and Becoe in order to upgrade them to make them deadly weapons.
Letting my guard down, I state to Akiza: "It really looks like Eggman has had a total turnaround of his personality and attitude." "I was thinking the same thing, how does your body feel now?" "Im lucky to be alive and not have sustained any permanent damage, my arms arent shaking but feel sore along with my legs, I will need a few days of rest as soon as we get back to Cornburry if not more. Pain has decreased so much it honestly shocks me! Theres just one last problem though, how are we going to get off this planet?" "Im sure Yusei and Bruno will figure out something out! It looks like they are helping Eggman build his time machine with the skills they possess now. Btw, would you like to duel me once youre fully recovered?" "Sure, I have yet to take on the Black Rose herself yet, I want to face Black Rose Dragon in an epic battle between plants and artists!" A few minutes later, I am let free by Akiza who cautions me to walk as little as possible. Luckily, my hands arent sore so instead of walking, I start scooting myself up to where Eggman, Yusei, and Bruno are building the time machine! I explain my situation and then converse with others including Blaze to which I ask: "Hey Blaze, why didnt you ever use your time magic to time travel?" "Well, I tried to time travel myself but for some reason, I wasnt able to at all, this was when I was chased by a bunch of monkey robots who chanted about turning me into scrap.. Not even my candy weapons could make them stop then the Crimson Dragon appeared and scooped me right up!" About an hour later, the time machine is at last complete, Yusei comments: "Awesome! Now we just need to put something in there to test it! Does anyone have junk they dont want anymore?"
Eggman replies: "Hold on, I`ll get some of those old failed robots from the basement! Those things have bothered me for years, its about time I start getting rid of some because no matter what I do, I cant destroy them!" He leaves and remarkably fast comes back with a bag full of failed bots which he places and shoves into the time machine right before Yusei pushes the button to activate the time machine, programming it to travel to the end of time, drop off the bots, and return to the present. We all wait excited in anticipation for it to do its thing when.. BOOM! An explosion is heard. Eggman is stressed: "No no no! I thought it would work first try! Fine tuning this will take hours!" Red eyes appear on the time machine which soon transforms to have spider like robot legs.. "Aaaaa! My time machines want to destroy all of us, we better get fighting or get running!" Im suspicious: "I dont believe you Eggman, I just recalled when you were looking sus earlier and something just doesnt seem right, you dont program a time machine to explode and then turn into an evil robot by accident unless a virus messed with the programming but I doubt that theres a virus in there. The combined might of 3 incredible thinkers is more than enough to stop any computer viruses. You set us up to try to beat us again!" "I did no such thing! What are you talking about?"
"You know full well, something just stinks really bad with you!" "Whatever you say because this glitch is not my fault!" The time machine human destroying robot thing speaks: "Master Eggman, programmer of my code, what do you wish for me to do to these fools who stand in your way!" A surprise whoosh followed by a zap is heard as the robot is disabled by a magical blast, this is followed by a familiar female voice: "And what do we have here? I shall put an end to Eggman`s tricky exploits!" We look over and see Great Sage Brayden in her grand beautiful and powerful elegance with a serious and determined but yet also soft expression on her face. Eggman points: "Just who are you?!" "Im Great Sage Brayden, a powerful mage! I am here to stop your silly plot and get my teammates home! Adam, Dominic knows what happened to the bands and managed to reboot the system! Everyone, go get your stuff because we are leaving!" "You cant do that! Im locking down this place to make sure you never escape! Youre a woman, why is your name Brayden?" "Its because I thought for most of my life that I identified with the gender I was assigned to at birth." "W-w-what?! Thats not how it works!" Brayden traps Eggman in a magical bubble and creates a portal: "We dont have time for you, theyre coming home with me! Sorry!" 5 minutes later and we are all ready to go home, I managed to get back on my runner with all my stuff so yes I got to go home without more help! Rest of the day, I just eat, chill, and rest.
Outro: Wow this ended up being a really great, awesome, and action packed chapter! I love how unique the plot is after Eggman is shocked to the core, Brayden comes in clutch and singlehandedly foils Eggman`s last try at trapping everyone! I only get more used to Brayden being a trans woman the more I write her in this story! I need to draw her as she is now in appearance! And thats everything for now, see ya next time, bye bye!
