ROLL TITLES

Scene 1: Corridor
The guard looks around. He sees something, and walks towards it. The Cyberman appears. A gun pops out of his wrist and shoots the guard.

Scene 2: Hanger Bay Controls
[Track 1] The guard screams.

AMY: What was that?

PILOT (oc): Amy, you've gotta focus.

AMY: Wait, wait. I think there's...

The Cyberman bursts in.

CYBERMAN 3: Do not resist. You are now my prisoner.

Amy screams.

PILOT (oc): Amy!

Amy falls to the floor. The Cyberman towers over her.
Suddenly, two soldiers run in. The Cyberman shoots back, with laser bolts piercing them both. They collapse.

PILOT (oc): Amy, I think the tractor beam is weak enough for me to break free!

The Cyberman walks over, and puts the power rods back in.

AMY: No, don't do that! Please!

The Cyberman types into the computer.

PILOT (oc): Hey, Amy! What you doing? No! It's...too...strong!

The shuttle enters the docking bay. The Cyberman shuts the hanger doors.

CYBERMAN 3: The humans have arrived.

CYBERLEADER (oc): Return to us at once. We shall regroup.

The Cyberman grabs Amy. She grunts and struggles.

AMY: No! Get off me!

They walk out.

Scene 3: Earth History Exhibit
The Doctor cradles Rory in his arms. A guard walks over and aims a gun at him.

GUARD: Alright, you. Hands up.

DOCTOR: No.

GUARD: I'm armed.

DOCTOR: My friend's dead.

GUARD: You are intruders. I'm sorry for your loss, but you're still under arrest.

DOCTOR: No.

GUARD: What?

DOCTOR: No.

GUARD: Come on, you. Get up.

GUARD 2: Sir! Incoming!

[Track 2] The Cyberman and Amy burst in. It shoots at the guards. The Doctor jumps up, and gets ready.

DOCTOR: Amy!

GUARD: Shoot it!

The Doctor runs behind the conversion chamber. It sees the janitor's tools. He smiles.

DOCTOR: Hey! You! Get me behind him! Lure him over there!

The Doctor picks up a bottle of cleaning fluid.

GUARD: Oi! Over here!

The Cyberman approaches the guards. The Doctor grabs him and sprays the bottle. It gasps in pain and collapses.

DOCTOR: Don't like that, do you? Cleaning fluid. Clogs the breathing apparatus.

The Doctor hugs Amy, putting the bottle on the floor.

DOCTOR: You alright?

AMY: Yeah. I lost Rory.

DOCTOR: I found him. I'm...I'm sorry. I couldn't help him.

Amy looks at Rory's corpse. [Track 3]

AMY: No. Please, no!

Amy kneels to the floor, sobbing. The Doctor turns away.

GUARD: Identify yourselves.

DOCTOR: Doctor, Amy.

GUARD: The Doctor? Psh.

The Doctor takes out the sonic screwdriver.

DOCTOR: This enough proof for you?

GUARD: No way. He's real!

DOCTOR: Not right now. Our friend just died. Amy…

AMY: Don't. Just...just don't.

DOCTOR: There's a way we can help Rory. Temporarily, until we can get back to the TARDIS.

AMY: Then do it. Now!

DOCTOR: You don't understand. The only way…

They look at the conversion chamber.

AMY: No. No, you can't.

DOCTOR: It'll jumpstart the heart, once it's done that we can shut it down, he'll be unharmed. Mostly

AMY: And if you can't stop the conversion?

DOCTOR: It's a risk we have to take.

AMY: You can't.

DOCTOR: I'm sorry about this. Hold her.

The guard grabs Amy. She tries to wrestle him, but ultimately fails.

GUARD: Are you sure about this?

DOCTOR: Definitely.

AMY: Don't! No, please don't! Doctor, don't you dare!

The Doctor places Rory in the conversion chamber. He presses a few buttons and pulls a lever.

AMY: Leave him alone! Doctor, just stop it! Don't you dare! Doctor, don't you dare!

DOCTOR: I'm sorry!

The Doctor pushes the lever back up, and it powers down. He opens the conversion chamber, and he holds onto Rory.

DOCTOR: Just sleeping. But breathing.

AMY: You could've turned him into a Cyberman.

DOCTOR: I know. But I didn't. But the fact you don't trust me to save him after everything we've been through! It's more than insulting. Just look around. I know what I'm doing.

The Doctor's outburst silences Amy. He turns away.

DOCTOR: All this. It's my fault. Something from my future attracted the Cybermen here. Instead of dying quietly, the Cybermen are rebuilding themselves. And it's all my fault.

The Doctor storms out as Amy tends to Rory.

GUARD: Doctor, come back here! We need to stick together! Doctor!

Scene 4: Main Computer
[Track 4] The Cybermen are gathered in a circle.

CYBERLEADER: We shall continue with our plan. Two of us shall attack the Earth History Exhibit using the sleeper agents, whilst one of us shall secure the hangar bay and make sure that the humans cannot escape. Once that is done, they shall return to the Earth History Exhibit and prepare the conversion chamber.

CYBERMAN 1: I shall go and secure the humans.

The Cyberman walks out. The other two look at each other.

CYBERLEADER: Do you have the canister?

CYBERMAN 2: It is ready.

CYBERLEADER: Use it, release it into the vents.

The Cyberman carries a big canister.

Scene 5: Vents
Gas streams through the vents quickly.

Scene 6: Main Computer
The Cybermen walk out.

Scene 7: Earth History Exhibit
Rory wakes up. The Doctor is brooding in a Egyptian recreation.

AMY: Rory! Are you okay?!

RORY: Uh, yeah. I think. I have a massive headache though.

AMY: How do you feel?

RORY: Alright.

AMY: Just sit there and get some rest.

RORY: Sure.

Amy gets back up.

GUARD: Ma'am!

Amy runs over. One of the guards is looking at a map, with dots moving towards the room.

GUARD: We have incoming.

AMY: How far?

GUARD: 30 seconds away.

AMY: Alright, we've got to get to work. Defensive positions!

Guards run around, aiming their guns at the entrances. Suddenly, gas seeps in.

DOCTOR: Gas. Gas! Everyone, hold your breath!

People start to collapse. The Doctor holds his breath. Amy falls to the floor. The Doctor goes red, his vision blurry and darkening. As the Cybermen walk in, the Doctor falls.

Scene 8: Hangar Bay
The ship hisses.

Scene 9: Shuttle
Passengers complain. One of the pilots shushes them.

CO-PILOT: If we keep making this much racket, the Cybermen will hear us.

PILOT: We've got to calm everyone down. I've got this.

He clears his throat.

PILOT: I'm afraid we've got a problem. However, if we panic, we'll all die, so we've got to remain quiet.

CO-PILOT: That's not calming me.

PASSENGER: We're going to die? What's going to kill us?

PILOT: Um...Cybermen.

PASSENGER 2: Preposterous! The Cybermen died out centuries ago!

PILOT: They exist, and we've got to be silent, got it?

The passengers all nod in agreement.

CO-PILOT: I'll go put the shuttle into breach mode. Not even the Cybermen will be able to get in. That lockdown will only lose integrity by a force as strong as a double strength solar storm.

PILOT: For a transport shuttle? Jeez, the Galactic Federation like wasting money, don't they?

The Co-Pilot walks into the cockpit.

PASSENGER 2: What are we supposed to do now? Just wait?

PILOT: Until we get the all-clear.

PASSENGER 3: Why can't we just leave?

PILOT: The doors are shut. Someone needs to open those hangar bays to let us out.

Outside, a door opens. The pilot puts his finger to his lips, and the audience all nod, terrified. Something clangs against the outside of the ship. The passengers all glare at each other. Another clang. And another. Moving around the shuttle. The pilot looks out through a window in the roof. A Cyberman looks down. He freezes.

PILOT: Oh, my god.

The Cyberman continues to crawl along the roof of the shuttle.

PILOT: Shh-

Suddenly, there is a bang, and the wall dividing the shuttle and the cockpit sparks and explodes. The Pilot runs to the door and tries to open the door. It's jammed shut.

PILOT: Hey! Are you okay? Xyten? Xyten! Can you hear me?

PASSENGER: What happened?

PILOT: They crushed the cockpit. We're locked in, with the lock weakening. The Cybermen are coming.

The passengers start to hyperventilate and panic quietly.

Scene 10: Earth History Exhibit
[Track 5] The Doctor stirs in his sleep. He wakes up with a jolt. He is in a large glass case - a recreation of the Battle of Dunkirk.

DOCTOR: Huh? Oh, right...Uh, Amy, Rory...Amy? Amy!

He shakes her.

AMY: Alright, I'm up, I'm up.

DOCTOR: Ah! Rory!

He helps Rory to his feet.

DOCTOR: How are you feeling?

RORY: Alright, I guess, headache going away.

DOCTOR: Yes, conversion side effects will pass.

Amy and Rory start to wake the other guards up as the Doctor looks back into the hall.

DOCTOR: Oh, no.

There are now nine Cybermen.

AMY: Where did they come from?

DOCTOR: The guards. They're being converted.

AMY: Can you change them back?

DOCTOR: No. Once they're Cybermen, it's too late.

RORY: So we've just got to avoid being converted ourselves.

DOCTOR: Now you understand.

CYBERLEADER: Here are your orders.

The Cyberman turns back to the others.

CYBERLEADER: The Artefact has been located in Unit 192a. You shall bring it to us.

Two Cybermen walk out.

CYBERLEADER: As for the rest of us, you shall take the humans in the Hangar Bay. I shall wait here and guard these humans.

The rest of the Cybermen walk out.

DOCTOR: (Whispering) This could be our chance.

Amy nods. The Doctor sneaks away.

RORY: Hey! Hey, over here!

The Cyberleader walks over.

RORY: Why did you convert that blue guy?

CYBERLEADER: We need to build our numbers, build strength. We believed that his biology was similar to ours. We were wrong. I have no time for further questions.

The Cyberleader turns away. He sees - the hatch into the Exhibit is open. The Doctor is gone.

CYBERLEADER: Where is the Doctor?

DOCTOR (oc): Right here, Cyber Leader!

The Cyberleader turns around. The Doctor squirts the Cyber Leader with cleaning fluid. It grabs the Doctor and pushes him away, clutching onto the bottle. It drops it and stamps on it. The liquid goes everywhere, including on the Cyberman's boot, causing him to malfunction and wail.

DOCTOR: Ouch! Safe to come out, now. The Cyber Leader wasn't updated properly, the programming wasn't finished. Meaning he was liable to the biggest human feature - mistake.

RORY: Oh - Thanks.

AMY: What now?

DOCTOR: It shouldn't take long for them to make a new Cyberleader. We'll take this chance whilst we can.

AMY: I'm going to help those people in the hangar bays.

DOCTOR: I want you to stick close.

AMY: Well, maybe you should've thought about that before you nearly converted my husband. Come on, Rory.

Rory looks hesitant.

RORY: Yeah…

He hurriedly follows Amy out. The Doctor looks after them, grumpy.

DOCTOR: We need to tamper with the conversion unit. If we're quick enough, the Cybermen won't be able to repair it.

The Doctor crouches down next to the conversion chamber.

Scene 11: Hanger Bay Controls

Amy and Rory run in. The Cybermen are banging against the wall of the ship down below.

RORY: They're trying to get inside.

AMY: Look! They've disconnected the cockpit. They can't fly.

RORY: They're stuck with us.

Scene 12: Shuttle

The Cybermen repeatedly bang against the walls. The passengers huddle up together, terrified.

PASSENGER 2: I don't want to die! Please don't let us die!

PASSENGER: We can't die! The Co-pilot...he said that we'd be safe! That the shielding was as strong as a solar storm!

PILOT: Without connection to the cockpit, the ship will crack like an egg soon. It knew the exact weakest point of the ship. It's like this was planned...Unless they knew we were coming…they must've got the plans off the Curator or something!

Dust falls from the ceiling.

PILOT: Everyone, stay calm. It won't be long before they get in, and then we have to stay-

The wall smashes. The arm of a Cyberman breaks through. They gasp. And another smash. And another.

PASSENGER 3: They're getting in! What are we going to do?

PILOT: There's nothing we can do.

PASSENGER: This is your fault.

PILOT: What did I do?

PASSENGER: Exactly!

PASSENGER 2: Don't go around blaming him!

The Cybermen blast a hole in the wall. They enter.

CYBERMAN: We are superior to you. We shall make you like us. You need not worry.

The passengers look at each other.

Scene 13: Hangar Bay Controls
Amy looks down.

AMY: It's too late.

Rory thinks.

RORY: No. No, it isn't.

Amy looks at her husband, confused.

Scene 14: Shuttle
The Cybermen are surrounding the passengers.

CYBERMAN: You shall follow us.

The passengers stand up and slowly follow the Cybermen.

PASSENGER 2: Oh, like hell.

He goes to strike one of the Cybermen, but it grabs him. Electricity runs through its hand onto the passenger. He screams.

CYBERMAN: We were like you. We understand your weaknesses.

The passenger drops to the floor, now a burnt and charred skeleton. The passengers gasp.

CYBERMAN: Do not resist us. Follow.

The passengers walk out of the ship, surrounded by the Cybermen.

Scene 15: Hangar Bay

They walk out. One Cyberman turns and sees Amy and Rory in the control room. It approaches a platform.

Scene 16: Hangar Bay Controls

Amy looks down at the Cyberman whilst Rory works at the controls.

AMY: Rory? Rory, it's coming! What are you doing?

RORY: Just hang on!

Rory types away.

Scene 17: Hangar Bay

It steps onto the platform. It starts to move up like a lift.

Scene 18: Hangar Bay Controls

Amy looks at Rory.

AMY: What are you doing?

RORY: Lockdown. It's the only way to stop the Cybermen.

AMY: Do you know what you're doing?

RORY: Yes! Sort of!

The Cyberman walks along a passageway towards the door into the control room.

AMY: Rory, it's nearly inside!

Amy picks up a chair and throws it at the Cyberman. It hits it away, falling onto the floor.

AMY: Great, I just made it angrier!

RORY: Got it!

The door shuts. They look at each other.

Scene 19: Passageway
The Cyberman is electrocuted as it touches the door. It falls off the passageway.

Scene 20: Hangar Bay Controls
Amy looks at Rory.

AMY: What did you do?

RORY: Turns out that there was a bit of computer knowledge added to my brain from the conversion. I sealed off this section. We're in lockdown. The Cybermen can't escape.

AMY: Then neither can we.

RORY: It's better this way. We saved all those people from being converted.

AMY: But is it better to die as you are or live on as a Cyberman? They'll get in eventually and kill us.

RORY: The good thing is, we've bought the Doctor time.

AMY: You're right. You okay?

RORY: Uh, no. I...I don't feel so good-Agh!

Rory kneels to the floor. Amy rushes over to help him.

RORY: The conversion, it was just a jumpstart to my heart, it won't last.

AMY: We'll find a way, Rory. Just sit there.

RORY: Amy...you know I-

AMY: Don't say it. Don't say goodbye. We'll sort it. We will.

Amy sighs.

Scene 21: Earth History Exhibit
The Doctor reattaches the panel on the side of the conversion chamber.

DOCTOR: That should do us.

A laser bolt fires. Two Guards are shot down.

GUARD: Doctor!

Two Cybermen burst in, one holding a glowing orb. The guards fire at it. It approaches them. One hits a guard away.

DOCTOR: Now's a good time to test my theory! Quickly, push it into the conversion chamber.

The guards grab one of the Cybermen and drag it into the conversion chamber. The Doctor sonics it, and the Cyberman screams, before it falls over, with smoke emerging from the suit.

DOCTOR: Emotional influx. Overloaded it's mind. So now you see our strength, stay boy!

The Cyberman stops moving. The Doctor's phone rings.

RORY (oc): Doctor, it's me.

DOCTOR: Rory! Good news, I've worked out a way to shut them down! And we've got a hostage. If Cybermen thought about hostages, which they don't, since they don't really care about others. They're quite vain. Anyway, you called?

Scene 22: Hangar Bay Controls
Amy is ignoring Rory, who is holding the phone close to his ear.

RORY: We've stopped them. For now. Doctor, we've locked down the museum.

DOCTOR (oc): You did what?!

Scene 23: Earth History Exhibit
The Doctor shakes his head.

DOCTOR: Why, why, why would you do that?!

RORY (oc): It was to stop the humans from being converted. They're locked in the Hangar Bay - but so are we.

DOCTOR: Can they get to you?

RORY (oc): No, we're stuck inside the control room.

DOCTOR: Ohhh...Alright, then. I've got to go.

The Doctor hangs up and puts his phone away.

DOCTOR: Now, then. What's that in your hand?

The glowing orb lights up green.

DOCTOR: That's not what I think that is, is it?

GUARD: What is it?

DOCTOR: A deactivated nuclear storm drive. Unbelievably powerful. You could commit genocide with this.

CYBERMAN: Correct.

DOCTOR: Oh, no. Listen to me! The Cyber Wars are over! You are the last Cybermen in existence!

CYBERMAN: Then we must do whatever we can to survive.

DOCTOR: For God's sake! You're so wrapped up in your own business, you're not listening! Look at me, listen for once. Read through the database again!

The Cyberman steps over to a computer terminal. It types into it.

CYBERMAN: Processing...processed. Data confirmed. Report - Cyber Wars are over. Activating Revenge Protocol.

[Track 6]

DOCTOR: Revenge Protocol? No, no, no!

The glowing orb turns orange.

DOCTOR: No, no, no, no!

CYBERMAN: Evacuate the base!

An alarm sounds.

COMPUTER: Alert! Alert! Explosive active! Evacuate!

Scene 24: Hangar Bay Controls
The doors all open.

AMY: Oh, my god! What's going on?

They look at the Cybermen, who storm out without the passengers. Amy runs out.

Scene 25: Earth History Exhibit
The Cyberman storms out. The Doctor starts to chase after it, but turns back.

DOCTOR: We can't let the Cybermen restart! I'm going to amplify the emotional influx, fill all of their heads!

The Doctor fiddles with the wires of the conversion unit.

GUARD: What about the storm drive?

DOCTOR: It's either us or every human in the Universe! We can't let the Cybermen go!

Scene 26: Corridor
Amy runs through. She sees the Cyberman.

AMY: Hey!

It turns round.

AMY: I don't think you're allowed that!

Amy fights the Cyberman, wrestling the orb out of its hand.

AMY: Okay, I'm holding a bomb now. What do I do?

The Cyberman grabs the orb again. Amy falls to the floor. She stands back up again.

AMY: I don't think so!

She pushes the Cyberman to the floor. She grabs the orb, and looks at it. She smashes it over the Cyberman's head, seeing a small computer chip inside the orb. She flicks a few switches on the chip and it turns off.

Scene 27: Escape Pods
The escape pods launch into space, carrying the Cybermen. The passengers cheer.

Scene 28: Earth History Exhibit
The Doctor works.

PILOT: This is the pilot, the Cybermen are gone! They've evacuated! We're free.

The Doctor yells.

DOCTOR: No! They've gotten away!

GUARD: They can't go far, can they?

DOCTOR: I don't know. I don't know what'll happen next.

Amy runs in. She holds up the fragments of the orb.

AMY: One bomb - sorted!

[Track 7] The Doctor runs over to embrace Amy. He whispers into her ear.

DOCTOR: (Whispering) I'm sorry.

AMY: (Whispering) I know. Me too.

She looks at him.

AMY: Rory!

They run out.

Scene 29: Lost And Found Exhibit
They walk in, with Amy helping Rory walk. The TARDIS is standing there.

DOCTOR: Lost Property. Of course she'd be here. Come on, Rory, I've got a temporary pacemaker. Should get your heart back to normal within a few days, just get some rest. In you go. Just in the medbay.

RORY: Okay.

Amy and Rory go into the TARDIS. The guards look at the TARDIS.

GUARD: I can't believe it! The actual TARDIS! Bigger than I thought it'd be. You really are as amazing as the museum says.

DOCTOR: I'm not. Don't ever do this again. A lot of good people have died today, and many will continue to in my name. Just do me a favour, yeah? My fans - keep them quiet. I can't have this happening again.

GUARD: What about the Cybermen?

DOCTOR: Oh, the Cybermen. Who knows? But they'll be back.

GUARD: Right.

The Doctor turns to the TARDIS to leave.

GUARD: Hey, Doctor?

He turns back.

GUARD: Uh...Can I come?

DOCTOR: Eh?

GUARD: With you? To see the universe?

DOCTOR: Ah, this time zone still needs saving. And who better to save everyone than…

The Doctor hesitates.

GUARD: You don't know my name!

DOCTOR: Well…

GUARD: We've just been through all this, and you don't know my name!

The Doctor scratches his head awkwardly.

DOCTOR: Oh, look. Is that the time, I'd better…

The Doctor slips into the TARDIS. The guard laughs.

Scene 30: TARDIS
The Doctor walks up to the console and turns on the scanner. He smiles.

DOCTOR: One last present, eh?

The Doctor pulls a lever. The TARDIS springs into motion.

Scene 31: Lost and Found
A white aura surrounds the box as it starts to fade away. The guards look at the dematerialising police box, gobsmacked. After it has fully disappeared, they walk out, leaving an empty room.

Scene 32: Space
Three escape pods drift through space.

Scene 33: Escape Pods
Three Cybermen are sat in one pod. On the screen, an image of a design similar to the Cybus Cybermen appears, with the caption:
