About an hour passed since the big spar. Aurora and Isabelle had worn each other out with a fun battle so they both took a moment to rest on the beach. Agnes and Coach had stayed by their side and it was then that both girls told them the whole story. Needless to say, the bull and pig were quite surprised. They had no idea either of them had such combat prowess. Aurora was bashful about the whole thing but, thanks to a bit of encouragement from Isabelle, she gained the courage to explain her whole philosophy about martial arts in general, how it was a fun way for friends to bond and challenge each other and grow stronger together. Aurora couldn't help but fear the idea that her two best friends would be scared of her. However, to her relief, Agnes and Coach both applauded her interest! Agnes liked the idea of an exciting activity that encouraged some loud and scrappy fun and Coach couldn't deny it is a great excuse to get another great workout in. What the human dreaded might repel her from her friends only brought all four of them closer together. The relief she felt was immeasurable.

Soon, the sun was rising high up over Zen Oasis and more island inhabitants were starting to wake up. Isabelle eventually raced back to Residential Services and changed into her regular Nook Inc. island attire. Thankfully, Isabelle was responsible and could manage her time wisely so she knew exactly when to clock back in for work. If anything, the early-morning workout seemed to pep her up more than usual. Tom Nook, of course, was filled in on the whole story, earning a chuckle from the carefree raccoon who didn't mind his secretary having a bit of fun. It was back to the normal routine for both of them. This meant it was soon time for Isabelle's morning island broadcast.

Meanwhile, Aurora had just stepped out of her beach house, positioned on the southwest part of the plaza, near the local airport. She switched out of her dougi and into her kimono top, sweatpants, and sandals, with a blue fishing rod snug in her right hand. Another day meant another chance to fish again. She takes a big breath of the surrounding ocean air and makes her first steps towards the mainland when she heard a loud chime originate right from Residential Services, making her stop in her tracks. The building's P.A. system had just switched on, soon followed by a familiar voice.

"Good morning, everyone!"

Right on time, as usual! Isabelle was snuggled at her desk in Residential Services, a glass of tea at her left side, and sitting right in front of a microphone that carried her voice all the way outside for everyone to hear.

"Right now on Zen Oasis, it's 7:00 AM on Friday, September 24, 2021," Isabelle announces, but then pauses for a moment with a right paw on her chin. "Hmm… There really isn't any news to speak of today."

Ever since life on the island developed, things have remained stagnant for quite a while. Nothing new meant less for Isabelle to announce every morning. She normally tries to break the ice by prattling about her personal television habits and such, much to her casual embarrassment. The canine mentally scrambles for something to talk about...and then a light bulb literally lit above her head.

"Oh! Actually, there is one thing I'd like to talk about," she starts. Her sweet smile widens a bit, just as she resumed. "Earlier this morning, I did something with Aurora that was quite fun for both of us. We both gathered at the beach for a bit of sparring. Yesterday, Aurora told me all about her interest in martial arts but she never got to have a friend to practice with. I have a bit of experience in a battle tournament, myself, so I eventually agreed to be her sparring partner. Granted, I was rather nervous and we got a bit hurt, but I really had a great time! Aurora was a very skilled fighter and I learned a lot through facing her. We were having so much fun, the excitement brought us closer together. I didn't even remember being so nervous! Aurora told me how martial arts is a great way to become closer with friends and encourage others to grow stronger together. I personally agree! I even feel like I've gotten a bit stronger! Just be careful not to push each other too much, though! I'm not much of a fighter, myself, but I'm glad it was enough to keep up with Aurora!"

Though she was enjoying her recollection, Isabelle soon noticed she was going on longer than she originally anticipated. She quickly stops herself, putting on a blush and rubbing the back of her head as the aura of flowers shrouded her head.

"Oh! There I go, rambling again. Excuse me!" Isabelle regains her composure, her blush disappearing as fast as it came. "However, I hope you give what I said some thought. Aurora's been really afraid to share her hobby with everyone. Be sure to show her some support. That's all for now! I hope you all enjoy the loveliest of lovely days!"

With that, Isabelle happily shuts off the intercom, rendering the P.A. silent.

Aurora was standing right beside her house, staring in the direction of Residential Services with a warm smile on her face. Words couldn't describe how good Isabelle's shoutout made her feel. Not only did her friend help her do something she was scared to do for a while, but she had clear evidence that her love for martial arts had a positive effect on Isabelle. She was truly touched. The human felt as if she could shed a few happy tears on the spot.

"...Thanks, Isabelle," Aurora says in a light, calm tone, smiling with pride.

While she was deep in her moment, Agnes and Coach were approaching her from the east path, just passing a fenced arrangement of windflowers and palm trees. They both rushed up to her beach yard, catching the human's attention.

"Hey, Coach! Agnes!" Aurora greeted. "Something wrong?"

Coach was the first to speak up. "Oh, no. We were just thinking about what you and Isabelle talked about earlier and, well.."

"Do you think you could teach us martial arts too?" Agnes eagerly interrupted.

Aurora was completely caught by surprise. "Whoa, what?! You're serious?"

"Heck, yeah! The whole idea of learning those kinds of moves and practicing with each other. It sounds like fun!" Agnes confirms.

"Yeah! Plus, that's a total body workout, right there!" The fitness jock chimes, his hands on his hips. "I want in, too!"

Aurora didn't answer right away, as she was overcome with such joy. Not only did her friends support her, but they also wanted to learn from her! She was happy as a sparkling sea on a sunny day. Soon, she stops and takes a deep breath, her joy evident in her sigh.

"Sure! I'd be happy to try and train you," Aurora cheers, but then she puts on a bit of a fierce smile, "but just remember. Martial arts is more than just learning how to fight. It's also about discipline and honor. You have to promise to use what I teach you responsibly and not bully people on the island with it. Got that?"

Without hesitation, the bull and sow put their hands over their heart and returned with a simultaneous response.

"We promise!"

The human then puts on a big grin. "Great! Then let's all grow stronger together!"

"YEAH!" Like a jolly bunch of friends, they all shouted out in glee as they shared a group high-five.

Excited to share her favorite hobby, Aurora put her fishing plans aside and spent the day showing her two best friends some of her favorite moves from her own personalized fighting style. For once, she got to act as a sensei rather than a lone warrior. It was some of the most rewarding fun she ever had. Weeks went by and a few more islanders came to her for martial arts guidance. Before she knew it, half of the island was training under her guidance. Isabelle even found a few slow days to get together with Aurora and train together. It wasn't everyone's cup of tea, of course, but now Aurora could fully be herself without fear. Island life on Zen Oasis just got so much better for her!
