Authors Notes:
So I did technically make Endeavour Ben's guardian but another person voted for Rumi and honestly I planning to make Rumi from the beginning I did the poll for just as reassurance if it was a good idea so I will be rewriting this chapter from scratch. Other than that I have nothing else so I should just get on with the story. Also I will be adding Non canon aliens i.e. Anitgravitesla, Ventrilosquid, Portaler, Squidstrictor, Shadowman, Bob the Blob, Stretcheleo, Invincible and The 10/10/10 box aliens from the Ultimate Alien Hunt at some point in the story as well as aliens mentioned in the show but never actually seen in the show such as other Manzardills (Arctiguana's genus), Sandbox, Shellhead, Rocks(Derrick. J .Wyatt confirmed its canonicity) and Snakepit, (This also includes reboot aliens, I know they sort of suck but some of them, to me, seem to fit in well in the classic continuity, also Shock Rock is cool) (I will not add Plantapocalypse and the CN alien, I just really dislike Plantapocalypse and the CN alien is the literal Cartoon Network with an Omnitrix slapped onto it.) I will be adding different aspects from the poll so some of the ideas will be added such as rivalry between Ben and Shoto, Aizawa believing Ben to be arrogant and an OC at some point. Before I explain Ben's cover up quirk I would like to give credit to Shocknawe 425 for letting me use an idea similar to his idea of Ben's unstable DNA quirk.
"That Midoriya is right, I haven't seen a quirk like yours..." A voice spoke behind him. Ben turned around to see a muscular woman in a white leotard with purple trimming. She wore purple boots that reached up to her thighs. She had rabbit ears sprouting from her head, her silvery white head flowed down to her waist. "Who are you?" Ben asked, the woman smiled "I was going to ask you the same thing..." Ben shifted uneasily before responding "Ben Tennyson..." "Well then Ben you have just met the No.5 Hero in Japan, Rabbit Hero: Mirko!" She announced proudly, Ben looked at her confused. This obviously shocked Mirko "Wait... You haven't heard of me?" She asked, Ben nodded. This probably was a huge blow to her confidence. "So what do you want with me?" Ben asked. "You were using your quirk without a license," Mirko replied "That is a punishable offence here." Ben stepped back, he was going to jail? No. Ben turned on the Omnitrix interface, Please give me a fast alien. Ben prayed silently, he slammed the Omnitrix, in his place was what seemed to be a velociraptor on wheels, his conical head pointed back like a cyclist helmet, in all honesty it was more like an actual helmet rather than a part of his body. "XLR8 now we're talking!" Ben laughed a small chirping noise went as he spoke. He sped away, Mirko was bounding behind him. A few minutes a beeping resonated. Not Now Omnitrix! A flash of green and Ben timed out he skidded to a halt a slammed his face on a brick wall. "Ow..." He groaned. Stupid Omnitrix! He thought bitterly. He looked up he, was in an alley "Great..." He muttered under his breath. He turned to see Mirko had caught up with him, Well shit... Ben backed up a bit, Mirko smiled. "Relax I'm not gonna arrest you..." She sighed, "Wait what?!" Ben asked, astounded by the fact he wasn't going to be arrested. "So what do you really want?" Ben asked more calmly now that he knew he wasn't going upstate or whatever is the Japanese equivalent of a state. "I saw your fight with that kid back there, needless to say I'm impressed, but your technique is flawed" Mirko replied. That stung Ben, he scowled at the woman. "So you came to give back handed compliments?" He sneered, this annoyed Mirko. "What I'm trying to say kid is that you need training! You have potential and your just wasting it on street fights!" she snapped, she breathed and calmed down "I was offering to train you, so you could attend UA high school..." Ben looked confused again, Mirko saw this and sighed "Japan's most renowned Hero School, I could train you so you can take the entrance exam and enter the school" She offered her hand and Ben took it "Uh thanks Mirko," He said. "Call me Rumi, now you should go home," Mirko said, Ben took a sharp breath "What's wrong?" She asked. Ben ended up telling her the same story he told Pony. "Oh... I'm sorry Ben, I didn't now" She apologized, awkward silence ensued for a few minutes, Ben had an idea "Why don't I stay with you? I technically would need a guardian if I were to go to UAH. I don't have any friends I could stay with so..." Rumi smiled and ruffled his hair. "You know it gets lonely in my apartment it would be nice to have someone around. C'mon I'll take you there." She gestured Ben to follow her, Ben got the idea and ran behind her.
Rumi's apartment was a spacious enough for three people to live in, the entrance lead to the living room where two corridors lead to where he assumed were the bedrooms and bathrooms, the kitchen was in the northwest corner of the apartment with a small set of stairs leading to it from the lounge which had a view of the skyline. "Woah..." Ben gasped at the impressive sight. "Well this is my home," Rumi said as she walked Ben around, "You'll be staying in the second bedroom from the right corridor. Make yourself at home" Ben found his room and crashed on the bed, he was exhausted. Maybe Paradox was right... I might enjoy this world quite a lot. He dozed off. He was back in Bellwood, he was ten at home. He stood there at the door, his parents were at the store, they would return soon, Will they? He stood there for a few minutes then he decided to go watch Sumo Slammers, he heard a knock. He ran to the door to find two men standing. "You are Benjamin Kirby Tennyson?" One asked, he nodded, he was confused. "Your parents were killed in an armed robbery, I'm sorry..." Tears welled in Ben's eyes. Ben woke up it was 8am, "What was that," He muttered to himself confused. Why was he remembering things that didn't happen to him? Ben shrugged it off and went into the lounge and found Rumi, "Morning, sleepy head." She joked, Ben smiled at the familiar face and they had breakfast and then Rumi spoke again "So I noticed you literarily have the clothes on your back and nothing else so after I come back from patrol, I'll get you some new clothes and I assume you don't have a phone?" Rumi asked, Ben nodded. Rumi left the room for a while and came back with a phone, it was possibly a few years old. "Take this, I have a new one and don't have any need for this one." Rumi said as she tossed Ben the phone, he caught it instinctively. "Thanks..." Ben said, he appreciated the gesture. After Rumi left to go out on patrol Ben went back to his room. "I see you are doing just fine Master Benjamin." said a voice as he closed the door, "Paradox? What are you doing here?" Ben turned and sked to see his old time travelling friend. "Why I came to see how you were doing Benjamin." He replied calmly. Ben then remembered the dream/memory "Hey Paradox I need to ask you something..." He went on to telling Paradox about the dream/memory. Paradox looked at him and replied after he finished the story, "I see... The only explanation I could think of is that when you entered this dimension the space time continuum realized a fault in this dimension's history and is fabricating events and memories to fit you in this timeline," he explained to Ben, a sick feeling now rose in Ben's stomach. Does that mean, when I entered they created mom and dad and killed them just so my story fits in? Paradox caught Ben's look, "Do not worry Master Benjamin, nobody was killed. You see these events and memories are just memories, they didn't really happen. It is true and false at the exact same time! The universe has fabricated documents and false events about you so you can blend in seamlessly into this universe." He assured Ben. "Wait so my cover up story is actually real and fake at the same time?" Ben asked just for confirmation from Paradox. "In this universe there are documents about you and your quirk but the aforementioned quirk doesn't exist, you are proof you don't have that quirk, whilst every thinks everything about you exists, you and I both know the truth, space time is creating these memories for you to try and place you in its timeline." Paradox repeated again. It finally registered in Ben's brain. "I must now leave Benjamin, or my presence may disrupt the flow of time here." Paradox said before walking off and fading away into the air. Ben's mood lightened up, he wasn't responsible for the deaths of his non existent parents.
A few hours had passed, Ben was restless. He never spent so much time alone by himself. He was rifling through his pockets, to see if he had anything that could keep him entertained. He felt something and he pulled it out, it was the phone number Pony gave him. Nearly forgot about this. He grabbed his phone and entered the number. He opened messages and shot a text.
Ben: Hey Pony, It's Ben, sorry for messaging l8 I was looking for my phone.
Pony: Hi Ben, it's okay we can talk later.
Ben kept aside his phone, he decide to go through the Omnitrix again, I should see if I have new aliens. He slammed the Omnitrix, in his place stood a red, blue and yellow gorilla. His body was segmented by black lines and the Omnitrix was located on his left pectoral. "Huh this is new." Ben muttered to himself. The Omnitrix had implanted the basic instincts of the alien, like it usually does, so Ben is able to use the form right off the bat. Ben morphed his body, realizing his body was made of Legos. "So I am made of Legos, maybe this should be called Legorilla, nah too weird sounding. Bloxx?" He asked himself, "Yeah, Bloxx sounds better." He cycled through the Omnitrix finding new forms. He was about to slam the Omnitrix again. When he heard the door open. "Ben, I'm home." Rumi's voice called out. Ben came out of his room to greet his caretaker. Rumi was still in her hero costume but in her hand was a large bag of clothes. "Take these, those are for you." She said and handed off the clothes to Ben. He carried them to his room and ran back. He was eager to know when his training started. "Hey Rumi when will I start training for the entrance exam to UA?" He asked. "You want to train now? The exams are 10 months away, but since you're so eager we'll start tomorrow." She sighed, she ruffled his hair. "I'm gonna rest now, its been a loooong morning..." She groaned as she walked over to her room. Ben nodded and he too went to his room.
Ben was in his room going through his phone, surfing the internet. Feeding himself with as much information on quirks. I got to learn this stuff, if I want to get in. His study session was interrupted when an alert flash. A Villain? He tapped the alert, it was from a news network and it showed a flaming scene. A large sludge monster was in the center, a kid in his body. Bakugou? He remembered the violent expression on his face. Another kid, green haired was running towards the mass of sludge. "No way... Izuku?!" He muttered. "He's gonna get himself killed!" He shoved the phone in his pocket and slammed the Omnitrix. In his place was Big Chill. "Really Omnitrix? Not the time for jokes..." He rasped. He decided to phase through the wall and switch to a faster alien. He slammed the Omnitrix while he was midair. Ben plummeted then swooped back up as a large sting ray. His wings were bat-like, yellow skin stretched across the wing. His skin dark red with black markings. His head was a mix between a hammerhead and manta ray, large eyes were situated on the ends of his head. "Jetray? Now this is what I'm talking about!" He flew and saw the scene. Fires bursting everywhere, Izuku was still running to the sludge villain, the crowd was watching in terror. Ben swooped down and grabbed Izuku by his shoulders with Jetray's clawed feet. "Let go of me!" Izuku screamed as Ben carried him to the back of the crowd. When they landed he transformed back. "Wait, Tennyson-san?" Izuku finally calmed down. "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING? YOU COULD GET KILLED!" Ben yelled. Izuku retreated into his uniform. "I just wanted to help..." He whimpered. Ben sighed "Fine, you want to help Bakugou go do it, but let me help. Just so you don't kill yourself." Ben reached out to shake Izuku's hand, Izuku took it and they went off back into the crowd. Ben slammed the Omnitrix an in his place was a small white robot, a pair of dark headphones rested on his head connected to a backpack with the number 10 on it. The Omnitrix located on the left earbud of the pair of headphones. "Echo-Echo? This will do." Ben said, his voice metallic and echoed. He slammed the Omnitrix on the earbud and his figured morph. Echo-Echo was now a large sleek dark blue robot, multiple speakers were located on his arms and legs. The Omnitrix was located on his chest and four prongs sprung from the faceplate of the Omnitrix. "Ultimate Echo-Echo!" Ben announced, his voice like Echo-Echo's but now deeper. People stood back, "Stand back people, unless you want permanent ear damage." Ben said dangerously, at that moment the speakers on his legs and arms popped off and multiplied. They circled Ben and blasted a low frequency noise, which pushed the people back to make room. "Hurry Izuku!" He called. Izuku go the signal and ran to Bakugou. Frantically trying to scoop away the goop from him. He won't do it fast enough. Ben thought gravely. An idea sprung in his head. He commanded one of the speaker disks to go off to Izuku to help clear the goop. The disk flew away and a small body popped out and now resembled a mini Ultimate Echo-Echo bobble-head. The Mini Echo (Yes I am calling them that.) ran to Izuku and started producing small blasts of sound, blowing off the villains body. I can't hold off the crowd for long... "I'm gonna kill you after I take over this body!" roared the sludge villain. Ben stopped and turned to see the villain raising a large hand ready to crush Izuku. "IZUKU!" Ben called he stopped crowd control and turned and ran to him, despite Ultimate Echo-Echo being lightweight, Ben's limbs felt heavy, one of his first friends he made was going to die. The three heroes who were trying to control the situation also saw this and raced to Izuku but a cloud of smoke rose. The smoke cleared, a large muscular blonde was blocking the attack with his forearm "Y'know, I really am pathetic," The man said. Izuku stared in awe, "All Might?" he whimpered. The man nodded, "I told you the traits to make a great champion, but I see now I wasn't living up to my own ideals," He grabbed Bakugou and yanked him out "Heroes are always risking their lives, that's the true test of a hero!" after grabbing Bakugou, his great fist slammed into the villain, blasting the fiends body away, the shockwave caused a great gust of wind. Ben instinctively created a wall of the disks and blasted noise to nullify the shockwave coming to him. A great swirl of wind picked up, rain clouds collected after the wind died down. Ben recalled the disks and transformed back to human. One of the heroes saw him, "We-were you that robot guy that was their before?" He asked, Ben nodded. Then he ran to the the crater. "Holy shit..." Ben muttered, he saw the hulking man holding Izuku and Bakugou. The three heroes he saw before followed him. The man looked up "Kamui, Death Arms, you can take care of this from here" He said in a deep voice. He handed the two boys to two of the heroes that followed him, the third hero who looked like a fire hydrant/fire fighter hybrid grabbed Ben's shoulder. "You better come as well, and I'll call your parent. Can I please have your phone..." He said calmly.
After a few hours of Death Arms and Kamui scolding Ben and Izuku for their recklessness whilst they shower Bakugou with praises, Rumi arrived. Izuku looked at the rabbit hero in awe. Ben spoke up, "Heyyyy Rumi..." He said nervously. Izuku looked at Ben, "Y-You know Mirko?!" He asked awestruck. But the muscular man that saved Izuku came and took him away to talk about something. "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING BEN!" She barked, Ben retreated into his hoodie. "I RECIEVED A CALL FROM BACKDRAFT TELLING ME THAT YOU WERE FIGHTING SOME VILLAIN THAT ESCAPED FROM ALL MIGHT!" She continued, Ben opened his mouth to talk but Rumi interrupted him "IF ALL MIGHT HADN'T DECIDED TO GET HIS ASS HERE YOU AND YOUR FRIEND COULD'VE DIED!" She paused and breathed in, calming herself down. "Gotta admit, it was pretty ballsy of you..." Ben slowly returned from the depths of his hoodie. "Kid you have a Savior Complex like your friend, it is a honorable trait but also makes you reckless," Ben smirked a bit to see the rabbit hero was impressed by him. "Training will begin now kiddo..." She ruffled his hair and the pair walked away from the scene. Training begins now then... Thought Ben smiling to himself, it seems things are looking up again, and after that scene he could really use something to prepare for the dangers of this world.

That's that chapter done, sorry for the delay I was taking a week off but I was doing occasional updates for this chapter. A few things, the Omnitrix will slowly merge with Ben to the point where he can transform without the actual Omnitrix but it won't instantaneous. Also Ben will be develop his own quirk, nothing broken rather something that assists him in combat with the Omnitrix. I am also doing another poll, I was finally able to create a poll, it is on my profile so now you can vote on which class ben should be in class 1A or 1B.
