ROLL TITLES

Scene 1: North Sea
[Track 1] Pan down from the smoke-filled sky to the giant spaceship, so large that its length is uncalculable. Suddenly, a boat zooms past.

Scene 2: Boat
The Doctor is piloting the boat, with Amy, Rory and River sitting behind. As he accelerates the speed of the boat, they are getting closer to the dimensional door surrounding the airlock, like a smashed and splintered window. Suddenly, they enter a fuzzy haze, and everything starts to slow down.

RORY: What's….happening?

DOCTOR: We're...entering….a...time...portal! Everyone...hold...on!

They cling onto the boat as they travel through. Silence.

CUT TO BLACK:

Scene 3: Storage Hull
[Track 2] Amy is on the floor. There is a flash of light.

CUT TO:

Scene 4: Portal
The Doctor, Amy and Rory fall through a cylinder of kaleidoscopical colours. Another flash of light.

CUT TO:

Scene 5: Storage Hull
Amy groans, trying to get up. Another flash of light.

CUT TO:

Scene 6: Airlock
An alarm blares, as Amy's vision is blurred. As she looks up, she sees Rory.

CUT TO:

Scene 7: Storage Hull
Amy tries getting to her feet again. Rory is looking at a security camera, whilst the Doctor is working at the door.

RORY: It's weird, it feels all...slimy.

AMY: Doctor?

DOCTOR: Ah, Pond! You're up!

AMY: We were going through a portal?

DOCTOR: Yes.

AMY: What happened?

DOCTOR: We went through.

AMY: What happened after, I mean.

RORY: Uh, I carried you.

DOCTOR: We set an alarm off, and we're hiding in here.

The Doctor opens the door a crack. Amy looks through to see the airlock, desolate and empty.

AMY: There's no-one out there.

DOCTOR: Exactly.

RORY: The Doctor reckons that this is just some space junk the Master found in a scrapyard, and threw it at the Earth.

AMY: Where's River?

Rory looks puzzled at Amy. The Doctor looks at them both.

DOCTOR: I'll explain later.

AMY: So this is the ship, yeah?

DOCTOR: We've jumped back a few hours before it crashed into the Earth. The damage it caused created a rupture in time. Where we stand is a temporal tipping point. Everything could change upon this one moment.

RORY: No pressure, then.

DOCTOR: No pressure!

Suddenly, the security camera moves, the cable extending out and bending to look at Rory.

RORY: Oh! Hello.

DOCTOR: No-one move.

The camera moves over to the Doctor. The eye turns red and the alarm goes off again.

DOCTOR: Oh, I just got that off!

AMY: How did I sleep through that?

RORY: Wait, if there's no-one on board, then surely there's no problem.

DOCTOR: I wouldn't trust all my theories.

AMY: Yes, you have a history with bad ones.

The Doctor shuts the door and looks around.

RORY: Is there another way out?

AMY: What about vents?

DOCTOR: Ah, they're too small. Fit for gases to pass through but nothing else.

RORY: Okay, so?

DOCTOR: Hmm...Stay here.

AMY: Woah, where are you going?

DOCTOR: Confirming something.

The Doctor opens the door.

Scene 8: Airlock
The Doctor sonics the door shut. He hides behind a few metal crates.

Scene 9: Storage Hull
Amy sits by Rory.

AMY: So. What's happened to River?

RORY: …Who?

AMY: River. River Song?

RORY: Were they one of the people in London?

AMY: Rory, don't joke about. Melody Pond. Our daughter, Melody Pond.

RORY: Amy, what are you talking about? We've not had any children, we can't.

AMY: But that's because of Demon's Run.

RORY: Demon's what? Amy, I've always wanted kids. Ever since I was a kid.

AMY: What?

RORY: You don't have to rub it in my face that I can't have one!

Rory storms out.

AMY: Rory? Rory, come back!

Amy runs out.

Scene 10: Airlock
Amy chases Rory out to see the Doctor sonicing the alarm.

DOCTOR: Deserted. See? Told you so. You alright?

The alarm turns off.

RORY: Yeah, fine.

AMY: Doctor, River. I want the truth.

DOCTOR: Okay, okay, okay. Rory, do you mind giving us a few moments?

RORY: Sure.

Rory walks off, clearly irritated.

DOCTOR: Just before we entered the time portal, the proximity lowered your protection from the TARDIS, which was already weak because of the dimensions breaking down. Because of this...River never existed. Like when Rory died. For the second time.

AMY: My...daughter. My only daughter, and you let her go?

DOCTOR: There's nothing I could've done.

AMY: And what about Rory? Her own father can't remember her. Why can't he remember if I can?

DOCTOR: Because he didn't grow up with a time crack in his mind. You're susceptible to more, you could remember things that never existed.

AMY: Can you save her?

DOCTOR: Yes. But I need to save the Earth, first.

AMY: How do we do that?

DOCTOR: We need to find the Bridge. It'd be good if we could find a layout.

The Doctor and Amy walk over to Rory.

DOCTOR: Rory, have you been useful?

RORY: Nope.

DOCTOR: Didn't think so. Come on, then. Let's just wonder about and see what we can find. Hopefully we make it to the Bridge before the Earth does.

They walk off.

Scene 11: Stasis Chambers
There is a circular room with hundreds of stasis chambers. On the side of one, a red light flashes, and starts to open.

Scene 12: Corridor
The time travellers walk along.

DOCTOR: I don't recognise the design, which is weird. 1100 years, you'd think I have seen everything by now.

RORY: Well, maybe you should stop coming to Earth and go let other planets burn.

AMY: Rory! What has got into you?

RORY: You just- You think all this is okay! How can you? If the Doctor hadn't kept interfering with our planet and us, we'd all be fine, and we would be happy, and perhaps we'd be married happily and have a child, but we waited too long, didn't we? Maybe if we did have one, you'd care. But no, it's always him. You two just going off to see everything, and don't give a damn about what you leave behind.

AMY: "Married happily"? You're not happy?

RORY: You don't care, do you? You just can't wait to go on the next adventure.

Amy slaps Rory, and runs off, crying. Rory goes the other way. The Doctor looks at them both.

DOCTOR: No, don't! We've got to stick together!

The Doctor thinks.

DOCTOR: This isn't like them. Something must be affecting them.

The Doctor walks off.

Scene 13: Distillation Room
[Track 3] The Doctor walks in. There are rows and rows of big plants growing, and water droplets are falling onto them.

DOCTOR: Hello, what's this?

The Doctor uses the sonic on the plant.

DOCTOR: Soluble life forms. Creatures that feed on water. Like Venus fly traps but with water - a Venus water trap. But there's more…

The Doctor sonics the water.

DOCTOR: Even more interesting. Two life forms feeding off each other to survive. Cohabitation - the liquid creatures supply nutrients to the plant, which gives the liquid a place to live. Now that is beautiful! What are you doing on board this ship? What are you? The owners? No, not enough intelligence. A science experiment? No, these things are sentient, they think. Mutations?

A door opens. A winged creature walks in slowly. It's face resembles that of a pterodactyl. It is wearing a futuristic headset, and its eyes are closed.

DOCTOR: Oh, hello. Just admiring your collection. I didn't realise there was anyone else on board. What is this?

HEX: You are not authorised to be in this section.

It speaks in a mechanical voice. The Doctor backs up around the rows of plants as a way of shielding himself from Hex.

DOCTOR: Well, I got lost. Where is everyone?

HEX: You are not authorised to be in this section.

DOCTOR: You're a bit repetitive, aren't you?

HEX: Leave now, or it will kill you.

DOCTOR: My name is the Doctor. What's yours?

HEX: Leave now, or it will kill you.

DOCTOR: Okay, automated speech pattern. Portable cryo-chambers? Oh, that's very interesting. Let's have a look.

The Doctor whips out the sonic and points it at the headset. He uses it, and Hex stops. Suddenly, he opens his eyes, to reveal a blue tint. The headset falls onto the floor. Hex loses his mechanical voice.

HEX: What…?

[Track 4] Hex stumbles, but the Doctor catches him.

DOCTOR: It's alright, I've got you.

HEX: What am I doing down here? And who are you?

DOCTOR: Just travellers. We found your ship.

HEX: We…? What's happened? Where are we?

DOCTOR: The Andromeda Galaxy. What's your name?

HEX: Uh, Hex.

DOCTOR: Nice to meet you, Hex. I once had a friend called Hex. Do you know what this is?

The Doctor picks up the headset.

HEX: It's Medtech. It's…

Hex stumbles again.

HEX: I'm not ready yet. You need to put me back in the Medipod.

DOCTOR: The what?

HEX: After the loss of our home, we became contaminated. We try to keep what remains of our homeworld alive, but the Medipods sustain us until we're better.

The Master walks in.

MASTER: I can't allow that.

DOCTOR: Master, stop what you're doing.

MASTER: You said that you wouldn't follow me.

DOCTOR: Then you changed the course of time.

MASTER: I do? Oh, I change time? Is it good?

DOCTOR: Depends on what you define as good.

MASTER: Is there chaos?

DOCTOR: ...Yes.

The Master sighs, as if he has tasted something nice.

MASTER: Ooh, goodie.

HEX: I don't understand.

MASTER: Oh, do shut up.

The Master takes out a gun and shoots Hex. He evaporates into dust.

DOCTOR: You didn't have to do that.

MASTER: You're right, I didn't. Now, since I know what will happen, I've got a job to do.

DOCTOR: You already know what's supposed to happen. Earth is supposed to continue on the same line that it's meant to be, but you go and throw a big spaceship into the middle of it. You disrupt the timelines. And I'm going to stop you.

MASTER: And how are you going to do that?

DOCTOR: I don't know yet.

MASTER: Well, I would hurry, since you've only got...50 minutes until the ship hits the Earth's atmosphere. Toodle-pip, as humans used to say. But they won't say it anymore, since they'll all-

The Master disappears in a flash of electricity. The Doctor looks awkward. Suddenly, the Master reappears.

MASTER: They'll all be dead! Sorry, I'm not that good with timing on the teleport-

The Master disappears again. The Doctor rolls his eyes and walks off.

Scene 14: Medbay
[Track 5] Rory walks in.

COMPUTER: Welcome -RoryWilliams- to the Med.

RORY: Oh. Uh, thanks?

COMPUTER: You have not yet signed up for the Medipod Programme -RoryWilliams-. I recommend that you do.

RORY: Why's that?

COMPUTER: My sensors are detecting biological traces of Korrel radiation within -RoryWilliams-.

RORY: Korrel radiation? I've never heard of it.

COMPUTER: It is commonly found in the Oru Cluster.

RORY: And how did I get this radiation?

COMPUTER: This station has had an issue filter. Never mind, though, our engineers are sorting out the problem! However, to prevent further indoctrination, please sign up for the Medipod Programme, -Ro-.

RORY: Look, I don't need your stupid programme, alright?!

Rory sighs.

RORY: Why am I so angry?

COMPUTER: It is a side effect of Korrel radiation on humans.

RORY: Right…

The Master aims a gun at Rory. He spins around and sees the gun.

RORY: Oh!

MASTER: Get into the Medipod, Rory.

RORY: Why?

MASTER: I want you to die.

The Master pushes Rory along.

Scene 15: Corridor
Amy walks along, depressed. The Doctor sees her.

DOCTOR: Amy!

He runs after her and catches up to her.

AMY: What do you want?

DOCTOR: Are you okay?

AMY: Is this what would've happened without you? Rory and I would've argued over this stuff? What happens next?

DOCTOR: Amy…

AMY: No! This is all your fault.

DOCTOR: You're right. You deserve a break from me. I'll take you home when we get out of this. It's time that you had a go with real life.

AMY: Okay.

DOCTOR: Now what's in here?

The Doctor uses the sonic on the door and it opens.

Scene 16: Deluxe Suite
There is a large, elegant apartment-like room. In the centre is a glowing cylinder running through the floor and the roof. Inside the cylinder is someone who looks similar to Hex, wearing regal gear. On the wall is the number 1561 in big red letters.

AMY: What's that?

DOCTOR: A cryo-chamber. A proper one. Someone else I met, they were wearing a portable one. Works as a defence system whilst they sleep. This guy's got the real deal.

AMY: Why is it away from the others?

DOCTOR: I don't know. Let's say hello.

The Doctor walks over to a keypad and types in a few numbers. Gas hisses out from the cylinder as it starts to move up.

AMY: What did you type in?

DOCTOR: 1651. It's on the wall over there.

AMY: What's 1651?

DOCTOR: The room number.

The creature in the cryochamber is also wearing a headset.

DOCTOR: Okay. Identify yourself.

DELUXE: This is the body of Deluxe Copalti the Second.

DOCTOR: Who is Deluxe Copalti?

DELUXE: Deluxe Copalti the Second rules the Mandeville race.

DOCTOR: Mandeville? I've never heard of them. Give me more details on them.

DELUXE: Sensors indicate that you are not authorised to be in this area.

DOCTOR: I'm here to help.

DELUXE: You are an enemy of this system.

DOCTOR: Why?

DELUXE: You are a Time Lord.

AMY: Let me guess - The Master?

DOCTOR: I think you'd be right, Pond.

The Doctor sonics the headset. The creature wakes up.

DELUXE: Uh…?

The Deluxe falls over, disorientated.

DOCTOR: Are you okay?

DELUXE: Who are you?

AMY: I'm Amy, this is the Doctor.

DOCTOR: How do you know the Master?

DELUXE: Who? I'm sorry, I'm not quite with you.

DOCTOR: The Master. He's an enemy in your-Oh.

AMY: Oh? What's oh?

DOCTOR: The system. It's automatic, yes?

DELUXE: Well, yes.

DOCTOR: That's what I thought. The sensors detected the Master's intentions, and registered him as an enemy. That's why the alarm went off when the camera saw me. Two hearts. The system thought I was the Master. Obviously.

AMY: Obviously.

DELUXE: So there is someone else on board?

DOCTOR: Yes, and my friend is lost on the ship as well.

DELUXE: I'll do a scan of the ship. What are you doing here?

The Deluxe walks over to a computer and starts typing.

DOCTOR: The Master wants to crash this ship, and wipe out all life on the planet that it'll crash into.

DELUXE: Can you unlock my escorts?

AMY: What's their number?

DELUXE: Same as mine.

Amy runs over to a few other keypads, putting in 1651. They all start to open. [Track 6]

DELUXE: Hang on, there's still contamination.

DOCTOR: What is this contamination?

DELUXE: Our home is infected with Korrel radiation.

DOCTOR: Korrel radiation? Oh, you're from Bessa!

AMY: Bessa? Like the Bessan?

DELUXE: Yes, we stem from the same gene chain. Except they chose the more aggressive route. There's activity in the Med. If that opens, the security should unlock and someone will be sent out.

DOCTOR: Yes, I met them. But the Master killed him.

DELUXE: Oh...Oh.

DOCTOR: Did you know him?

DELUXE: No, but any death is a sad one.

AMY: Are there any camera feeds in the Med?

DELUXE: I'm not sure. Uh…

Deluxe opens CCTV. The Master is working at one of the stasis chambers.

DOCTOR: There's the Master.

DELUXE: What is he doing with the medipods?

AMY: Can you find out who's in there?

DELUXE: I can check the most recent checklog.

The Deluxe types something, then looks shocked at the answer.

DELUXE: It was...a human. Rory...Williams.

AMY: Rory?!

DOCTOR: No, no, no, no, no.

The Doctor runs out.

Scene 17: Medbay
The Master is working on a device in the centre of the room.

Scene 18: Corridor
The Doctor runs along.

Scene 19: Medbay
The Doctor runs in. The Master looks up, and waves. He disappears with another flash of electricity. He looks at the device, counting down from 080.

DOCTOR: It's a bomb. It's a bomb!

AMY (oc): Doctor! The Deluxe is telling me that all the Medipods are shutting down! Everyone's dying inside them!

DOCTOR: Okay...okay! So, over two minutes to save everyone...twice.

The Doctor runs over to the control desk.

DOCTOR: Computer, you're an intelligent sensor, do you have voice controls?

COMPUTER: I do -asdferefrags-.

DOCTOR: What?

COMPUTER: Apologies, I do not understand. Your name cannot be identified.

DOCTOR: Just call me the Doctor.

COMPUTER: Preference saved.

DOCTOR: That's not important right now. I need to make a secondary energy donation.

COMPUTER: That is highly irregular.

DOCTOR: Well, that's what I'm doing. I want the main bulk of it to go to the medipods.

COMPUTER: Reprogramming…

The Doctor waits impatiently for the computer to load.

COMPUTER: Reprogramming finished.

DOCTOR: Great, so what do I do?

A plinth rises.

COMPUTER: Please place the core of the secondary energy store onto the platform.

The Doctor runs over to the bomb - it's on 046 seconds.

DOCTOR: Okay, okay.

The Doctor opens the back of it. There is a glowing charge.

DOCTOR: Got to be careful…

The Doctor carefully lifts the core out of the bomb and then charges over to the plinth. It lowers into the floor, and is sealed.

COMPUTER: Extracting external energy source.

The whole room lights up green.

DOCTOR: Is that good?

Suddenly, all of the medipods open. The Mandeville all walk out of their stasis chambers, as does Rory.

COMPUTER: Warning! Explosive imminent to activate!

DOCTOR: What? No, no, no, it wasn't enough! Open up the panel, computer!

The floor opens, and the Doctor detaches the bomb core from each wire.

RORY: Doctor, what are you doing?

DOCTOR: Not now, Rory!

He picks up the bomb and runs out. It says 015 on it.

Scene 20: Corridor
The Doctor throws the bomb down the corridor.

DOCTOR: Reduced damage, should do the trick!

The Doctor jumps back in.

Scene 21: Medbay
The Doctor falls onto the floor. He takes out the sonic, holding onto the door to keep it shut.

Scene 22: Corridor
The bomb charge runs down from 005, 004, 003, 002, 001-

The bomb explodes.

Scene 23: Medbay
The door blows off. The room starts to collapse as the explosion reaches inside.

Scene 24: Deluxe Suite
The room shakes violently.

AMY: Doctor? Doctor!

The Deluxe looks at his guards.

DELUXE: There's been an air breach in the Med!

The guards all run out.

DELUXE: I can create an airfield, but that won't hold it in for long.

AMY: Doctor, can you hear me? Doctor!

DELUXE: My whole species is in there…

Amy and the Deluxe look at each other, worried.

Scene 25: Medbay
The guards climb over the rubble, looking around. They see Rory pulling the Doctor,, cut and bruised, out from the wreckage. There are Mandeville everywhere, huddled together.

RORY: Help me!

USAR: What happened?

RORY: The Doctor, he held the explosion back. I think that he's…

A few med drones fly over to him.

DRONE: There are zero vital signs.

RORY: He's dead?

USAR: I'm sorry.

[Track 7]

DELUXE (oc): Usar, I'm getting another energy signal at the engine. It's a similar reading to the bomb that just went off.

The Doctor suddenly wakes up.

DOCTOR: What?

RORY: Ah! But you're-

DOCTOR: Well, what are you just sitting there for, Rory? Come on, we've got a bomb to stop!

The Doctor jumps to his feet and runs over the rubble. Rory looks shocked.

DOCTOR: Rory, come on!

RORY: Right, yeah. Sorry.

Rory suddenly gets up and follows the Doctor. The Mandeville look at each other.

Scene 26: Corridor
The corridor starts to crumble. The Doctor and Rory run through hissing gas and past exposed wires about to explode. They turn left, then duck under a few metal rods.

Scene 27: Engine Room
The Doctor clambers under the half-open door. There is a giant flameball in the centre of the room.

RORY: What's that?

DOCTOR: It's a nuclear storm drive. The engine.

RORY: Like the Cybermen?

DOCTOR: Enough to wipe out a planet, turn it toxic. Not good.

RORY: Where's the bomb then?

DOCTOR: There. The core. It's going critical, the whole spaceship is about go to into meltdown. The Master's timed it for the ideal time for it to be drawn to the Earth and crash. We don't have long.

The Doctor runs forward. [Track 8]

DOCTOR: Oh, no.

He realises what is in the center of the engine.

DOCTOR: The TARDIS is at the core.

RORY: What?

DOCTOR: It can't be, not now.

RORY: What are you talking about now?

DOCTOR: The TARDIS, it's explodes and causes cracks in time. It destroys the Universe, don't you remember? But that explosion can't be now, can it?

RORY: I thought the TARDIS already exploded.

DOCTOR: Exactly.

MASTER: Do you like my work?

The Master walks in.

DOCTOR: You don't know what you're doing here, Master.

MASTER: What am I doing?

DOCTOR: If the TARDIS explodes, it'll-

MASTER: Destroy the Universe. Yes, I was listening in. Very dramatic.

DOCTOR: This is not a show, Master!

MASTER: Ooh, have I touched a nerve?

DOCTOR: Where's your TARDIS?

MASTER: Why do you want to know?

DOCTOR: The TARDIS can't explode, it'll bend the time vortex, history is shrinking. Total event collapse, not one single star would ever exist. It's happened before, and I won't let it happen again.

MASTER: Is that supposed to appeal to my better nature? It's too late, now. The reality compensators are down, the TARDIS is breaking out of the box, it'll blow up and destroy everything.

RORY: But it can't, Doctor. If the universe blows up, then how can we see that future?

DOCTOR: Time changes, Rory. This is it.

RORY: Oh, god.

DOCTOR: Can I ask one thing?

MASTER: What is it?

DOCTOR: Let us take my friends to the TARDIS. Let us die there.

RORY: What?

MASTER: So you can escape?

DOCTOR: The TARDIS is too damaged for repair. Please.

MASTER: Oh, very well. I've taken out your dematerialisation circuit anyway.

The Master disappears, and reappears with Amy.

MASTER: Did you see the look on his face? I'm pretty sure I'm going to haunt his dreams.

AMY: What's going on?

DOCTOR: We're too late. The TARDIS is going to blow up the engine and crash into the Earth. And we'll be on board.

AMY: Okay...But you have a plan, right?

DOCTOR: No.

The Master takes out a device and attaches it to the Doctor's wrist. Subtly, the Doctor reaches into the Master's pocket and takes something out.

MASTER: It's got enough power for one journey for the three of you.

DOCTOR: Hold on.

Amy and Rory hold onto the Doctor. They all disappear.

Scene 28: TARDIS
[Track 9] Smoke is coming out from the console. Everything is distorted, as the trio appear. The Doctor runs through a spectrum of blue and red fuzz. He messes with the controls, and everything starts to revert back to normal.

RORY: What? But you said that-?

DOCTOR: Oh, come on. I knew what I was doing. I grew up with the Master, and I remember that he couldn't work out how to fix the reality compensators on a TARDIS. Work experience, that was a good week. Now! Time to get out. Did I ever tell you about the time I met David Blaine?

The Doctor takes out the dematerialisation that he took from the Master's pocket and puts it into the console. The TARDIS dematerialises wobbly.

RORY: Doctor?

A white figure appears - It starts to shape into River.

DOCTOR: It's River! It's working! Everything's going back to the way it was!

They all smile.

Scene 29: Bridge
The Master works at the controls. Suddenly, a dozen Mandeville burst in.

MASTER: Am I supposed to be impressed?

DELUXE: Your plan is over now.

MASTER: No, it isn't. The ship will crash into Earth. It will commit double genocide, and it will taste good.

DELUXE: I don't think so.

The Deluxe hits the Master, and throws him to the floor.

DELUXE: We have to get as far away from Earth as possible, it's too late to stop the critical phase!

An alarm goes off.

Scene 30: TARDIS
They watch the spaceship in space from the scanner.

AMY: It's starting.

DOCTOR: I'm sorry.

Suddenly, there's a great white flash on the scanner. The ship disappears. They all look at each other, shocked.

RORY: What...What happened?

DOCTOR: I...I don't know. The ship just...just vanished! The Mandeville... They must've stopped him.

River falls onto the floor.

AMY: River!

RIVER: Oh, what did I miss?

[Track 10] The Doctor looks concerned at the scanner.

FADE TO BLACK:

Scene 31: Kitchen
The TARDIS dematerialises as Amy and Rory sit down at the counter.

RORY: I guess we're talking about it then.

AMY: About kids? I guess we are.

RORY: We could consider adoption.

AMY: Rory...I don't...I don't want kids.

RORY: ...Oh. Oh, right.

AMY: At least, not right now. Not after what happened with Melody. Can we keep them safe? I mean, do we even need to have this conversation right now?

RORY: What?

AMY: Let's just relax for a bit.

RORY: Right, fine.

AMY: Okay, I'm going for a bath.

Amy walks upstairs.

RORY: Running away from responsibility, again…

Rory shakes his head disapprovingly.

Scene 32: Stormcage
River sits back in her cell.

RIVER: So, then. It's been quite the adventure, hasn't it?

DOCTOR: I'm just glad I got you home safe.

The Doctor and River kiss.

DOCTOR: Until the next time.

The Doctor starts to swagger off back to the TARDIS.

RIVER: I assume we're still on for Darillium next weekend?

The Doctor turns around.

DOCTOR: What?

RIVER: Oh, spoilers.

The Doctor gives out an awkward laugh, then turns back, his eyes red. The TARDIS takes off.

CUT TO BLACK:

Scene 33: Bridge
There are fires all around a crashed spaceship. Many corpses lay on the floor, their flesh melting from the flames - These corpses are alien warriors. Beside the control panels is the Master, his head bleeding from the crash. He wakes up, and a group of people are towering over him. One of them is a tall, imposing woman.

MASTER
Wha...Who are you? What happened?

?
Welcome. We see you're going to be a great asset to us.

The Master looks confused. He stands up.

MASTER
Would you care to tell me who you are?

?
Your new employers.

They smirk.
