AN: Okay so I tried to make this story into a long multi-chapter story, but due to personal reasons I cannot continue. For more details why then look to the bottom Authors Notes. Now this is how I originally wrote this story, as a one-shot story. I didn't change anything, just fixed some small grammar mistakes. I wrote this back when there were only 10-20 episodes, so this is extremely AU and completely non-canon. Anyways here you go and hope you enjoy it.

Family A Dimension Away
"I just can't understand who would do this to a child?" A 20 year old young woman asked in both anger and shock. She had blonde hair that went just past her shoulders and dark blue eyes. She was wearing a simple light blue blouse and blue jeans, this was Rita Loud.
The reason for her shock and anger came from the 4 year old boy who was missing his right arm that was sitting in the room with her, her newly-wed husband Lynn Loud, and a social worker that wanted to speak with them. The boy had spiky blonde hair and ocean blue eyes, and 3 whisker-like marks on each of his cheeks. He was wearing clothes that were given to him by the police department because he was found in an orange black track suit that was way too big for him. At first he was speaking in an unknown language, but the more people spoke with him the faster he was able to learn the English language.
Lynn Loud was in shock and disbelief about how they found the boy. He was a 21 year old young man with brown curly hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white button up shirt and blue jeans.
Amanda Grey was the social worker that was called to come to the Royal Woods Police Department about a small boy that was missing his arm being found by a newly-wed couple. She was wearing a dark blue business suit and was taking notes on everything. She was in disbelief as the other two as how anyone could abandon a small child that was missing his right arm.
"I can understand it's hard sometimes to take care of a child, but I have never heard or seen someone just abandon their child in a park with clothes that were too big for it" Ms. Grey said as she just heard how the Loud couple found the boy.
"This was with him as well" Lynn said as he showed her a wooden prosthetic arm. The only problem was it was the size for a teenager not a 4 year old boy.
"Did they expect him to use this?" Ms. Grey asked as she examined the arm. "This looks like some kind of mannequin arm, there is no way he could use this as a prosthetic."
"When we went to the park we never expected to find an abandoned child," Lynn said as he looked at his wife.
"Naruto" they all heard and turned to the boy that had a blank expression. "My name's Naruto," the boy said with a heavy accent. While it wasn't as heavy when he started to speak English, they could still tell he was learning the language.
"Naruto, do you know where you are? Or how did you get in the park?" Ms. Grey asked which Naruto shook his head. "How about your parents name? Or your last name?".
"Uzumaki, My name's Uzumaki Naruto" Naruto replied with an empty voice same blank expression.
"That sounds like a chinese or japanese name" Rita said as she heard the boy's name.
"It also sounds very unique, it should be easy to find his parents and find out why they abandon him" Ms. Grey said with a hint of anger in her voice. As the 3 adults went back to talking to each other, they were unaware that Naruto was having a conversation as well.
'KURAMA WHERE ARE WE?' Naruto shouted in his head.
"STOP SHOUTING!" A demonic voice replied. "As far as I can tell we are in another world...another dimension. Tell me what is the last thing you remember."
'I remember beating Kaguya and ending the war' Naruto thought. 'Then I remember fighting Sasuke and then bringing him back to Konoha at the cost of my arm. Waking up in the hospital and Granny giving me my prosthetic, then hearing Sasuke was released from the hospital. I went looking for him and I found him at training ground seven. He told me that I always got in his way and as long as I was there he could never complete what he needed to fix the world. Then he turned on his Rinne Sharingan and something started to glow under my feet and I blacked out. I then woke up in that park where those two people found me and brought me here.'
"My guess is that the Uchiha placed some sort of seal on the ground we were standing on," Kurama said as he tried to figure out what happened. "Then he used his Rinne Sharingan and the seal to send us to this world."
'Okay that makes sense, but why am I four years old and starting to understand and speak the language these people are speaking?'
"For your first question I suspect something in the seal did that or the Uchiha messed up part of the seal to cause that" Karuma replied. "As for your second question, that was my doing. We don't know how long we are stuck in this world, so I'm making it so you can understand and speak the language of this world. However, when I'm done you won't be able to connect with me for a while."
'How long is a while? And how do we get back home?' A panicked Naruto asked.
"A few years at least, it's taking a lot of my chakra to alter your vocal cords and eardrums." Kurama replied in a sad tone. "This world has very little chakra so it is going to take awhile to get it back. As for going home, you are going to have to recreate the seal the Uchiha used and use your yin-yang release with Senjutsu to use on the seal. Now trying to recreate the seal will take years, but the hard problem is collecting Senjutsu. Like I said this world has very little chakra which means it has very less Senjutsu, it might take you a year to collect enough for a seal, but you are going to have to test it with a Kage Bunshin (Shadow Clone) to make sure it goes to the right world. So we are not going back anytime soon."
'So I'm not going to see my friends any time soon huh' Naruto thought as lowered his head. 'When I get back I'm going to make Sasuke pay for sending me here.' Naruto then turns his attention to the others in the room.
"Now I have to look for a foster home for him until I can track down his parents," Ms. Grey said as she looked at Naruto.
"Well we could look after him until then right Lynn?" Rita asked her husband.
"I don't see why not," Lynn replied with a smile.
"Have you two raised a child before?" Ms. Grey asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well no, but it will be good practice for when we have ours" Rita said as she rubbed her stomach. "We just found out today that I was pregnant and we were cutting through the park to go celebrate at a restaurant."
Ms. Grey smiled at the couple who looked ecstatic at becoming parents, but then put on a serious face. "You do realize that looking after a four year old boy is different than raising a baby right?"
"We realize that, but at the same time we can't just abandon Naruto like his parents did," Lynn replied. "We don't know why he was left in the park, but we want to help him any way we can."
Ms. Grey looked at the couple and gave a small sigh with a small smile. "I'll have to do a background check first, but if it's all good then I don't see why you can't look after him." Both Rita Lynn had a big smile and nodded at her to show they understand. "Come along Naruto, something tells me you'll see Mr and Mrs. Loud again soon" she said as she took Naruto. Naruto gave a smile and wave to them before going with Ms. Grey.
[20 Years Later]
It has been 20 years since Naruto was brought to this new world and things have been alright for the most part. Naruto was in the foster care of Rita Lynn Loud for 3 months while Ms. Grey tried to find his parents. Fortunately or unfortunately she couldn't find anyone with the last name Uzumaki, not only that they could find any blood relation in any systems around the world. During that time the Loud couple looked after and raised Naruto as if he was their own, not only that they started to fall in love with the spiky blonde boy. After the 3 months they asked Ms. Grey if they could adopt him since she was having no luck finding his parents or any other family. Ms. Grey was unsure about this, especially with them expecting their own child in 6 months. After 3 more months of meetings, paperwork, and parenting classes they finally officially adopted Naruto. After Naruto officially became Naruto Loud, Ms. Grey helped them by getting Naruto a proper prosthetic arm.
Naruto found that his chakra coil chakra control were still the same as they were before coming to this world, it was just that his body became younger. He was glad about that because even though Kurama was able to make him hear English and speak it perfectly, he was not able to read it. When his foster parents learned this they bought him the proper book and helped him read english, but used Kage Bunshins (Shadow Clones) to learn reading faster when they weren't around. As for Kurama, once he finished altering Naruto's vocal cords and eardrums he went into a hibernation-like state to regain the chakra he used. This meant Naruro wouldn't be able to communicate with him until he got his chakra back and he would be on his own for a while. After he learned to read English he started sending Kage Bunshins (Shadow Clones) to the library to learn more about this world, even though he hated reading. The one thing he did like was the internet since it made finding information easier.
As he lived with the Loud couple he started to care for them and they became precious people to him. When they told him that they adopted him and he was now officially their son, he was unbelievably happy that these two cared that much for him. However it also filled dread because he was keeping secrets from them and lying to them. So after they told him this, he told them the truth about him. He told them his past, what he's been through, what he can do, what's sealed inside him, and how he got there in the park. The couple were not only shocked at what the boy had been through, but saddened by his story as well. Naruto believed they would be angry at him for lying deceiving, he was expecting them to throw him out but was surprised by them hugging him. They told him they still loved him and accepted him. They were happy that he trusted them that much to tell them the truth. At that point Naruto was truly happy that it was those 2 people who found him in the park, he promised he would do anything to help his new family.
As the years went on Rita Lynn not only tried to help Naruto get back to his real home, but also add new members to their family. The first was Lori and while growing up she followed Naruto around like his shadow, that was until she became a teenager and got her boyfriend Bobby.
Leni was the opposite of Lori, which means Naruto was following her around so she didn't hurt herself since didn't pay attention to everything around her.
He helped his parents raise Luna the 3rd child. However she gained a love for rock music after Naruto took her with him when he and a few friends went to go see a Mick Swagger concert when she was in 7th grade.
Luan was the 4th child and also took care of her as well. That was until he brought her to one of the harmless pranks he pulled on some friends he had. They all had a good laugh about it and Luan decided that day she wanted to make people laugh as well.
The 5th child was Lynn Jr. who was named after their father and was interested in sports items growing up. Naruto learned as many sports as he could so he helped Lynn Jr. practice and so she would have someone to play with growing up.
Lincoln who was the 6th child was the first boy Rita Lynn Sr. had, Licncoln idolized his older brother and wanted to be the same kind of person he was.
When Lucy, the 7th child, came everything seemed to be going normal until she found Naruto old books, the occult, black magic, and darker literature that he used to try to help him go home. After that she asked Naruto to dye her hair black and she took on an emo/goth appearance, though Naruto did get in trouble from their parents for dying Lucy's hair without their permission.
Next was Lana her younger twin sister Lola, while they were twins they were complete opposites. Lana was tomboyish, got her love of animals from Naruto and love for frogs. While Lola was more into girly things like princesses beauty pageants and loved turning Naruto into her own dress-up doll.
The 10th child was Lisa and she was a born genius. She would often use Naruto as a test subject whether he knew it or not. Naruto also suspected she knew that he wasn't their brother by blood, but wasn't if she knew the truth about what he was.
Lastly the youngest was Lily, while still a baby Naruto was looking after her whenever their parents were busy.
Over 20 years Naruto continued to try to find a way to go back to his home world, when he wasn't looking after his sisters brother or going to school. Naruto hated the fact he had to go back to school, but he did find the subjects more interesting then the ones from his academy days. It took Kurama 3 years to regain all his chakra he used to make it so Naruto could speak and understand this world's language. Kurama then had to remind him that the Toads might be able to reverse summon him to Mt. Myōboku and then back to Konoha. When Naruto heard this he got mad at him for not saying something sooner, Kurama replied that he should have remembered that on his since it was his summon. He tried to summon Fukasaku but nothing happened, which meant the only way to get back was to recreate the seal Sasuke made.
While Rita Lynn Sr. tried helping Naruto anyway they would like buying certain books or trying to get supplies he needed. They also kept the kids in the dark about his past. Naruto helped his new family by writing several books based on his life in his home world, and also published Jiraiya's book 'The Tale of the Utterly Gutsy Shinobi'. Jirayia's book served as a prequel to his story series called 'The Tale of Naruto'. The books were under the name 'The Toad Sage' in memory of his late Godfather. The books became a bestseller in no time and sales of the books made it so the Loud family didn't have to worry about money. It also helped pay for a new prosthetic arm for Naruto when he needed one. While he did get back the one he brought with him, he thought it would be better to use one from this world.
Right now Naruto was making breakfast for his younger brother sisters. While this was a normal thing for him, today was an important day for him. He let his hair grow just above the shoulders, he was wearing a neon orange T-shirt with a crimson nine on the front and back and black joggers. The first one to come down for breakfast was Lori who also brought Lily, Lori was now 16 years old Lily was 5 months. Lori was wearing a baby blue sleeveless blouse and brown shorts, while Lily was just wearing a diaper. After Lori put Lily in her high chair, Lori started to text her boyfriend Bobby.
"No texting while at meals Lori" Naruto told her with his back towards her.
"Come on Naruto, I need to talk to my boo-boo bear," Lori said, trying to get her brother to change his mind. She stared at his back for a few seconds while he stayed silent and continued to cook. She let out a sigh and put her phone away knowing her brother wasn't going to change his mind.
"Thank you" Naruto said to her without looking at her.
Leni was the next one to come down, Leni was now 15 years old. Leni was wearing a turquoise dress with white sunglasses on top of the head. "Morning Leni," Naruto said without looking at her.
"Good morning bro-bro" Leni replied. She was a bit of an airhead so she often called him the nickname she gave him growing up. Naruto didn't mind if she did it at home but in public it was a little embarrassing.
"Breakfast is almost done so go sit at the table" Naruto told her. She happily sat at the table with her sisters.
The next two to come down were Luna Lynn Jr., Luna was 14 years old with short brown hair brown eyes and Lynn was 12 years old with long brown hair done up in a ponytail blue eyes. Luna was wearing a purple t-shirt with a white skull on the front, a lavender skirt, and a white belt. Lynn Jr. was wearing a red and white jersey with the number one on it and matching red shorts. Luna walked in playing her guitar while Lynn Jr. was juggling a soccer ball with her feet.
"Luna no play your guitar at meals and Lynn no sport of any kind at meals" Naruto told them again without looking.
"Aw come on bro" both Luna Lynn Jr. said at the same time. They were met with the same silence as Lori and knew they couldn't change his mind. So they put the guitar and soccer ball away and sat at the table slightly annoyed. Lori smirks as she sees that she wasn't the only one to get scolded by their older brother, but then her and Luna narrowed their eyes in jealousy while looking at Leni. It was very rare that Leni was scolded by their older brother which led to them to think Leni was Naruto's favorite, but in reality he does scold her just differently than the others.
The next one to come down was Luan, she was now 13 years old who had long brown hair done up in a ponytail and brown eyes. Luan was wearing a white sleeveless blouse with a joke flower on the front and a yellow skirt. She walked in the room carrying a wooden ventriloquist doll which she named Mr. Coconuts.
"Luan no Mr. Coconuts at meals," Naruto told her without looking.
"Just this once Naruto," Luan begged her brother. Normally she would try to add jokes or puns, but she did not when her older brother was serious like he was today. After getting silence from her brother she went and put Mr. Coconuts away and sat at the table with her sisters.
"I know you already scared Lincoln once today, so you don't get to do it here Lucy" Naruto said randomly. Then out of the shadow came a small girl, this was Lucy. Lucy was now 7 years old and she had now black hair and blue eyes. She had blonde hair until she was 6 years old, that's when she found Naruto old occult books and asked him to dye her hair. Lucy was wearing a black dress with a black and white striped sleeveless shirt underneath it.
"Why must you add to my eternal suffering?" Lucy asked as she looked at her older brother back.
"Because I can, now go sit down at the kids table." Naruto replied. Lucy let out a sigh and went to sit at said table.
The next two to come down were Lana Lola, both being 5 years old though Lana being older by 2 minutes. Both had blonde hair and blue eyes. It was easy to tell them apart since Lana often wore overalls and a red cap, while Lola often wore a dress usually pink.
"Lana no pets at meals and Lola no mirrors at meals" Naruto told them again without looking at them.
"Aw come big bro, just this once?" Lana asked hoping he would change his mind.
"If I don't have a mirror how will I know if my make up is fine?" Lola asked, trying to do the same thing as her twin.
When they were met with silence they went to put their things away. "Also don't be arguing with each other when you come back" Naruto told them before they left. The twins looked at him wide eyed in surprise, they wondered how he knew they were going to start arguing.
After the twins came back and sat at the kids table. The next sibling was Lisa who came into the room. Lisa was only 3 years old with scruffy short brown hair and brown eyes, but was the smartest person in the Loud family. She had a pair of thick glasses wearing a green turtleneck and beige pants. Naruto thought about asking for her help to get back home, but he didn't want her to know the truth.
"You know one of these days I will find out how and where you take all my experiments and samples when I turn my back" Lisa said as she saw her oldest brother's back. Lisa offen outsmarted Naruto, so he used other means to get her to listen. He has his Kage Bunshins (Shadow Clones) seal her experiment and samples in a scroll and has them put them back while Lisa is busy doing what she is supposed to do.
"Until that day comes I wish you happy hunting, now go sit down" Naruto replied without looking at her.
Finally the last person to arrive was Lincoln, the only other boy in the family. Lincoln was now 10 years old and had snowy white hair and blue eyes. He was wearing an orange T-shirt and blue pants. Lincoln came into the room while looking in a random direction and talking to himself. "It's normal in this house for our older brother cooking our meals, he says he does it to help out our parents."
"Pretending your part of reality show again Lincoln" Naruto commented without looking at him. Lincoln started to scratch the back of his head and gave a nervous grin to his brother, that was something he picked up from his brother. "Well I think it is time for a commercial break, go sit down because breakfast is ready."
Lincoln listened and went to sit down, Naruto then brought out their breakfast. It was eggs, toast, becon, pancakes, and a bottle for Lily. As Naruto watched his brother and sisters eat, a smile appeared on face, but it was a sad smile.
"You know you could just stay here and forget about going back" Kurama said as he could feel the blonde sadness.
'You know I have to let everyone know I'm okay' Naruto replied. 'Besides my fist want to have a talk with Sasuke-teme face for what he did. Besides I don't belong here, I never did.'
"Come on Naruto, we both know you don't believe that," Kurama said as he shook his head.
'It doesn't matter. I was finally able to recreate the seal last year. I was also able to gather enough Senjutsu to use it again just last month. It's time for me to go back, who knows how long I've been gone.'
"Then why didn't you leave last month instead of this month?" Kurama asked, to which he got no reply. "We both know you don't want to leave the people you have come to see as family. You keep lying to yourself by telling yourself you need to go back when you don't. You may have been sent here by the Uchiha, but look at the outcome. You have parents that love and care for you, you also have ten sisters and a brother who feel the same."
'I need to go back, I feel I need to go to stop Sasuke again. I'm the only one who can' a depressed Naruto replied.
"I hope you know what you're doing," Kurama said, knowing Naruto was just using that as an excuse.
Naruto's smile faded as he started to go towards his parents room. "Aren't you going to eat bro-bro?" Leni asked as she saw her older brother leaving the room. This got all the Loud children attention as they all looked at their older brother.
"I ate before you all woke up so I'm good," Naruto replied with a small smile before leaving the room. While Lincoln and the younger one, except Lisa, were confused why the brother was acting differently, the older ones and Lisa knew their brother always acted differently one day of the year. None of them knew why and when they asked he just said "it's nothing, don't worry about it", but they knew it wasn't nothing.
[With Naruto]
Naruto knocked on his parents door to see if it was okay to enter. When he heard a "come in" he opened the door and saw his parents inside getting ready, his mother and father were getting ready for work. Once inside he closed the door. His parents smiled to see it was their oldest son, but their smiles disappeared when they saw his face. When he had a calm blank expression on his face, they could see past that and see he was struggling with an internal conflict.
"Son, is everything alright?" Lynn Sr. asked with a worried expression.
Naruto lowered his head slightly and didn't look them in the eyes. "Well last year I tested a seal to try to take me back to my home world and it worked perfectly," Naruto replied nervously. Lynn Sr. Rita expression changed slightly from a worried expression to a sad one since they already knew where this was going. "So last month I managed to gather enough energy I needed to use the seal again and take me back."
"So you are going back then?" Rita asked with a sad and worried tone.
"Yes I need to, I have to let all my friends know I'm alright," Naruto replied in a sad tone. Both Lynn Sr. Rita gave him a hug which he returned.
"When are you planning on going back?" Lynn Sr. asked after they stopped the hug.
"I'm planning to go back in two weeks from now, I want to spend a whole day with each of my sisters and brother," Naruto replied.
"We should tell them the truth if this is going to be the last time they are going to see you" Rita said in a sad tone and tears in her eyes.
"I would rather we told them I was going to live overseas somewhere" said as he turned his head away from his mother as he hated seeing her cry.
"You know if we did that then they would just try to go visit you when they are older" Lynn Sr. told his son.
Naruto lowered his head in fear. "I'm afraid that once they learn the truth they will all hate me after" Naruto said in a fearful voice.
"They could never hate you son," Lynn Sr. told Naruto. "You helped raise each one of them and they love you with all their hearts."
"Don't you remember that Lori, Leni, and Luna all followed you around and wanted your attention like you were their father for a year because you were raising more then me and your dad?" Rita asked. This got an embarrassing chuckle from both Naruto Lynn Sr. "They won't hate you, it will be a shock for them like it was for us. However they deserve to know why their older brother is leaving and who he really is."
"*sigh* Alright we'll tell them after dinner tonight" Naruto said in a defeated tone knowing this was how things were going to go. "You two should get ready for the day and I'll walk them to school." Rita Lynn Sr. gave Naruto a grateful nod before he left the room, but deep inside all their minds not one of them were looking forward to the talk after dinner tonight.
[Later That Night]
It was after dinner and everyone was sitting in the living room because their parents wanted to talk with everyone. The Loud children knew their parents only did this when they were getting another member to the family or when one or more did something wrong. Since their parents didn't have happy faces but instead sad nervous expressions, they knew this wasn't about adding a new family member. One thing they didn't get was why Naruto was standing with them and had the same expression.
"Having our parents talking to all of us like this is rare, but when it happens it means something big is about to go down" Lincoln said to himself while looking off to the side. Most people didn't notice when Lincoln did this, but Naruto always did and gave a little chuckle at his antics.
"Now we wanted to talk to you all because we have something important to tell you" Lynn Sr. told them in a calm tone.
"What is it?" Lori asked.
"Well you see, I'm not your brother by blood...I was adopted," Naruto said in a nervous tone.
The 3 adults were met with silence before a loud "what" from all the children except Lisa. They started asking tons of questions to all 3 of them, it was Lisa who got them all to stop. "How is it you that none of you were able to figure that out?" Lisa asked with a raised eyebrow. "His facial structure is much different than all of our, his name is the only one that doesn't start with a "L", he has those unique birthmarks on his face, his skin tone is slightly darker then all of ours, and his name is japanese that means both spiral or whirlpool and steam fish-paste cake."
"I thought bro-bro just likes to tan a lot," Leni said as she was still confused.
"So that means you're not our brother?" Lana asked as she looked up to Naruto with a sad confused expression.
"Just because we adopted him doesn't mean he's not your brother or our son" Rita said to Lana.
"I may not be your brother through blood..." Naruto as he crouched down to look Lana in the eyes. "...but that doesn't mean I don't see any of you as my siblings. I help look after all of you because I see you all as family and precious to me, even if we don't share the same blood. If you don't see me as your brother anymore and hate me then I understand, but I will always care, love, and look out for you all."
A moment later both Lana Lola crashed into him and hugged him. While he couldn't hear what they were saying, he knew that they still accepted him as their brother. Soon all the Loud children started to go up and hug him and to tell him the same thing. Naruto and his parents were happy that they still loved him after finding out the truth, but became sad for what they were going to tell them next.
"I also have to tell you that I'm going to be leaving you all soon and you most likely won't see me again" Naruto said getting shocked expression from all of them. Once again he was bombarded with a wave of questions from all his sibling. "The reason why is because I'm not from this world, you see this is what happen..." Naruto said with a sigh as he started to tell them how he got there. Just like his parents he told them his past, what happen, and who he really was. All of them cried about his past and how he was treated. Many of them also now had a small hatred for Sasuke for what he did, while at the same time they silently thanked him for giving them their brother. They were also surprised that not only was Naruto was the author of 'The Tale Of Naruto' series which most of them were fans of, but they were true stories of his life.
"I'm sorry but you have to understand that I'm having a hard time believing your story" Lisa said with a calm expression. "What kind of proof do you have to make not only me but the rest of us believe?" The other Loud children didn't want to say it, but Lisa was right the story about their older brother being from another dimension with supernatural powers was hard to believe. Naruto on the other hand just smirked as he held out his left hand, a few seconds later he formed a Rasengan. All the Loud children stared at the ball of energy in awe.
"Fascinating" Lisa said with a wide eyed expression.
"It's so beautiful" Leni said as she slowly started to move her hand towards it.
"That is the coolest thing I have ever seen!" Lincoln said.
Naruto made his Rasengan disappear before Leni could touch it and hurt herself. "Now do you all believe me?" Naruto asked which they all nodded their heads. "Now that you all know the truth about me, I'm planning to leave in two weeks. During these two weeks I want to spend an entire day with each of you before I go back." The children all nodded and would figure out who got which day tomorrow since it was getting late, needless to say no in the Loud house got much sleep that.
[2 Weeks Later]
Today was the day, the day that none of the Loud family were looking forward to. Today was the day Naruto was returning to his home world. They were all gathered in Naruto's room in the attic where Naruto had made the seal. The last 2 weeks went by fast for the family, and it was a week full of tears. They decided to go from oldest to youngest in deciding the days with Naruto.
On Lori's day she told Bobby that she wouldn't be talking to him at all because she was spending the day with her older brother since he was leaving soon, which Bobby understood. The day was spent mostly shopping at the mall with Lori asking what the fashion was like back in his home world. Naruto told her what he could about the fashion there, which wasn't a lot since he didn't care about that kind of thing. Lori bought him some outfits to take back with him and they had lunch at the foodcourt. When they got home they spent the rest of the day in Naruto's room talking about nothing, just Lori asking questions about his past and Naruto trying to comfort her. The day ended in tears for both of them.
Leni spent most of her day walking around the town with Naruto and talking. At first Leni was being her airhead-like-self and acting like he wasn't going away for good. However Naruto could see through the ruse. He told her he knew the truth and didn't want her to hide behind that mask. He wanted to talk to the real Leni, Leni's blank expression became more serious and yet calm. She told him how she was surprised that he could see that wasn't the real her. The real Leni was very smart, clever, calm, and great at acting, the whole airhead persona was just something she came up with. She confessed that she made the airhead persona as a way to keep Naruto's attention, since with that persona he was always looking out for her. He surprised her again when he told her he knew the airhead was just persona for a long time, he just didn't know why she did it but just decided to never ask. The day was spent with both of them learning more about the real people behind the mask, which ended in tears as well.
When he spent the day with Luna it was mostly the two of them playing music in the garage. While Luna did ask him about the music from his home, she tried to avoid the subject of him leaving. Eventually Naruto managed to get her to talk about it. She didn't want the person who helped open her eyes to music to leave her. Naruto tried to reassure her that everything was going to be fine after he left. After calming her down he tried to cheer her up with stories from his past. Once she calmed down she insisted that he have her favorite purple guitar. At first he refused since he knew how much she loved that guitar. However after seeing how much she wanted to have it and how much it broke her heart when he refused to accept it. He knew he had to accept it because this was how she was dealing with him leaving. That night he stayed with Luna and cried herself asleep on him and refused to let him go.
He took Luan to a comedy show and then they went shopping after the show. Naruto was telling her about all the pranks he did when he was younger. At the same time he was buying things that Luan could use to recreate some of his pranks. Luan would still make a pun every now and then, but Naruto could easily see the fake mask of happiness on her face. Once they got home he brought Luan to his room so she could take off the mask, which she did not too long after entering his room. Naruto hugged her and let her cry, he knew his leaving was causing her much pain. He was the only one, besides their father, to always laugh at her jokes and puns. They talked more and Luan ended up sleeping in his room with him.
His day with Lynn was playing different sports with her. Lynn did ask if there were any sports back in his home world, but he told her there wasn't anything like that there. He told her the closest thing to that were the exams to go up a rank as a shinobi. Naruto could see she was trying to put on a tough exterior as they talked and played. After hours of playing different sports and talking he was able to break that exterior of her's. When it broke Lynn tackled him to the ground and started pounding on his chest while crying. She shouted that she was losing not only her best practice partner, brother, and idol, but also her best friend. While Lynn was strong her pounding on him didn't hurt him, he laid there and let Lynn let out all the emotions she had inside. When she finally finished she collapsed onto his chest, to which Naruto hugged her while she cried. After a while she passed out and Naruto carried her home and laid her in her bed.
Lincoln was oddly mature in handling Naruto leaving. They spent the day in Naruto's room talking and playing video games, but Lincoln wasn't trying to avoid the subject of him leaving like the others. Sure he cried a bit, but he also wanted to know why he was leaving now. Once Naruto told him his "reason" Lincoln understood why he wanted to go back. Lincoln would do the same thing if he was in his brother's shoes, go back just to make sure all your friends were safe and let them know you're okay. Lincoln's respect for his brother grew and he wanted to be more like him when he got older. Naruto told him it was his job to look after their sister now and he had faith in him. Lincoln accepted this new responsibility and told him he wouldn't let him down.
Naruto's day with Lucy was him and her in his room. Lucy summons spirits to protect her brother when he leaves to return to his world. Naruto however was scared that ghosts were going to start appearing or was now going to be forever haunted. Aside from scaring Naruto, Lucy expressed how much she was going to miss him in her own way. While the words she chose at times creeped Naruto out, he got the meaning behind them. Much like their other sisters she tried to avoid the subject of him never coming back. But like the others Naruto pushed her to see reality, when that happened Lucy broke down like the others. Lucy passed after crying for an hour or so and Naruto then put her in her own bed.
Naruto and Lana spent their day playing with the pets outside. Lana asks about different animals from his home and Naruto told her about different summon animals. After hearing about summoning animals Lana wanted to meet one and asked if he could summon one. Naruto had to unfortunately tell her that he couldn't while in this dimension which saddened Lana. This caused her to start crying at the fact her older brother was leaving and she would never see him again. Naruto tried his best to comfort his crying sister, but he knew there wasn't much he could do. He let her cry it out then took her to go get ice cream to try to cheer her up, that night he let Lana sleep with him in his room.
His day with Lola was the second most painful day to spend with his siblings. He was having a tea party with her and all throughout the day Lola was making plans on how to spend days together in the future. Plans like going to her beauty pageants, going to DairyLand, having tea parties, or going to the beach with family during the summer. Lola was in denial about Naruto leaving. Any time he brought it up she would try to change the subject or just ignore whatever he said. It got to the point where he had to hold Lola by the shoulders to make her look at him. He then basically shouted at her about him leaving, which caused Lola to break down like the other. She then started shouting how he wasn't going anywhere and they were going to stay one big happy family. It took them both yelling at each other, but Naruto made her see the reality of their situation. He calmed her down by calling the nickname he had for her, when she was done they went back to their tea party. Just like Lana he let Lola sleep with him in his room.
He enjoyed his day with Lisa more than he thought he would. They spent the day in Lisa's/Lily's room so Lisa could run tests on him and ask him questions about his home world. The questions varied from simple ones like "who could use chakra?". To more complicated ones "how exactly do they control it to be able to do the things in his book?". She was also very interested in the fuinjutsu (Seal Technique) that was going to send him home. He showed her the seal and told her everything he knew about fuinjutsu (Seal Technique) so she could study it. She also asked her oldest brother why he was leaving, but unlike Lincoln she saw through his "reason". She pointed out that his "reason" was just an excuse and that he could send one of his Kage Bunshins (Shadow Clones) to check up on his friends and wanted to know the real reason. After being found out by his second youngest sister he told her that he didn't want to leave, but needed to because he didn't belong in this world. Lisa told him, in her own way, that he did belong here and with the family. After hearing her tell him that he started to have doubts about leaving, but then came up with a plan that he would need Lisa help with. He told Lisa his plan and she agreed to help. Naruto stayed with her till midnight to which she told him he should go to bed so he is well rested to spend his day with Lily. He agreed and left to go to bed while she stayed up to analyze all the information she got from him.
His day with Lily was the most painful day out of all of them. The day didn't go bad or anything of the sort. He played with her, fed her, talked to her, and put her down for naps. What made it painful was that Lily was 5 months old, so it was most likely she wouldn't remember him. All he could do was spend this day with her so he had a good memory with Lily.
The other days he had before he left, they spent them together as a family. Naruto created Kage Bunshins (Shadow Clones) so he could spend time with everyone. It was mostly spent at home, but they did leave to go to Burpin' Burger to eat. Those nights all the kids slept with Naruto in his room.
Back to the present day, the entire family were saying their goodbyes. Each member of the family had red puffy eyes, well except Lisa who had a stoic expression. Seeing the sad faces on his family's faces broke his heart.
"Are you really going to leave such a caring family kit?" Kurama asked.
Naruto heard him but didn't reply. "I can't stand to see my family cry like this," Naruto said with a sigh. "I'll make you guys a promise, I will come back. I'll go there just to make sure Sasuke pays for what he did, then I'll use the same seal to come home." Naruto then found himself in the center of a family group hug. They were all now crying tears of joy that their brother/son wasn't leaving for good, except for Lisa. Naruto saw her and gave her a subtle nod to which she returned. As they separated from Naruto they had smiles on their face knowing they would see their brother again.
As Naruto activate the seal and it glowed underneath him, his family waved and said their goodbyes. There was a bright flash that cause them to close their eyes, when they opened them their brother was gone. The family now had sad smile on there face. They were sad that one of the most important people the family was gone, but they knew they would see him again. While the family stared at the spot Naruto stood, Lisa slipped away to start on a project she hoped she would never need to use.
[Outskirts of Konoha - 2 Years Later]
In a small shack sat one Naruto Uzumaki, or Naruto Loud as prefer to be called. When he returned to his home world he went straight to Konoha to let everyone know what happened. When he got there he found out something important. He found out that he was gone for a lot longer than he thought. He went to go see the Hokage and found out that instead of being gone for 20 years like he thought, he was actually gone 40 years. It turned out that 1 year in Royal Woods was 2 years in the Elemental Nation. He also learned that they knew what Sasuke did and he was executed for sending away/possibly killing Naruto. He spent a month there to catch up with his friends and told them about his family, to which many were happy about. He also sent a clone back to tell his family he would be back in a few days to a couple weeks.
However word got out about the things Naruto had seen and the other Kages wanted that information. While the Hokage refused to force Naruto to give them the information. The other Kages demanded that the Hokage at least seal Naruto's chakra so he couldn't return to that world. When the Hokage refused, they all threatened to go to war with Konoha. They wanted him sealed till he let everyone know the secrets he knew. Once he did the seals would be removed and he would be free to go wherever he wanted. The Hokage didn't want to, but also had to look after the village. So with a heavy heart the Hokage went through with the order.
Naruto's chakra was sealed, he has more than enough to defend himself if he gets attacked. However he was unable to use Kurama's chakra, yin-yang release, or Senjutsu. He was still able to talk to Kurama, but he then didn't trust anyone in Konoha. Many of his friends told him just to tell the Kages what they wanted so he could go back to his family. However Naruto refused by claiming some of the things he saw would do more damage than good. He wanted to go back to his family, but he wasn't going to let the Elemental Nations destroy itself after everything he did. He built a shack outside of Konoha as his new home since he felt he couldn't trust anyone anymore.
This is where we find him now, the 26 year old was sitting at a desk making different seals. He was wearing black ANBU pants and a long sleeve black shirt, his hair now went to the middle of his back and was in a ponytail. Naruto was trying to come up with a seal to send him back to his family without the need of yin-yang release and Senjutsu. Unfortunately it was harder than he thought to make such a seal.
"Heads up kit, you got a visitor coming" Kurama said as he sensed someone approaching that shack.
"I know and I know who it is," Naruto replied with frustration. Only one person visits him now and he now hates having that person visit him.
The person knocked on the door and walked it without waiting for a reply. "I see you have been busy," the person said looking around the shack. "You have more seals hanging around then the last time I came, can I assume that they all do the same thing?"
Naruto had his back to his "guest" which he was glad for. Because his face had a scowl on it when the person started talking, he then put on a huge obviously fake smile and turned to greet his "guest". "Well if it isn't the great and beloved Hokage" Naruto said with a sarcastic and venomous tone. "What is the honor of such a visit?"
"Must we do this every time I visit?" The Hokage asked in a tired and guilty tone. The Hokage was wearing the traditional white robes and hat, though the Hokage had a frown. "Why can't we talk like we used to? Is it because I'm the Hokage? If so then tell me and I will gladly make you the Hachidaime Hokage " (AN: I don't know if that's the right term, it's just something I found on the internet while searching. It might be the right term or it might be the wrong time I don't know.)
Naruto's fake smile turned into a frown as he glared at the Hokage. "I don't care that you are the Nanadaime Hokage, nor do I want to become Hokage," he replied in frustration. "Why I do this every time is because you are the one who ordered my chakra to be sealed and stopped me from going back to my family."
"Naruto, you don't belong there, you belong here with your friends" the Hokage replied. "Besides I did what I needed to do in order to protect Konoha, even you can understand that right?"
"Do you really believe I belong here where I'm constantly watched and not with the family that raised and loves me?" Naruto asked in a serious tone. The Hokage didn't say anything and Naruto got his answer. "You don't believe that, you are just saying that because you are the Hokage. Deep down you want to undo these seals and let me go back to them...so why won't you do that!."
"It's not that easy Naruto!" The Hokage said in frustration. "I need to look out for the Konoha and if I undo the seals then the other villages-"
"BUT I'M YOUR FRIEND SAKURA!" Naruto shouted in anger. "Or at least I used to be."
Sakura Haruno was picked to be the Nanadaime Hokage after their teacher Kakashi Hatake. Konohamaru Sarutobi was the first pick but he turned it down since he believed Naruto should have been the Nanadaime Hokage. He still believed him to be alive and wanted to find him. Since Sakura was trained by Tsunade Senju, one the Legendary Sannin and Godaime Hokage, she was one of the few people that qualified. Shikamaru Nara was also a candidate, but he turned it down by saying it was "too Troublesome". The council and Daimyō agreed and Sakura was named the Nanadaime Hokage.
Sakura lowered her head in shame and sadness. A part of her wanted to help Naruto and let him go back to his family, but another part wanted to keep him here in Konoha. After Sasuke was executed she lost her whole team, with Naruto missing and Kakashi becoming the next Hokage. Now that Naruto was back, a part of her didn't want to let him leave again.
"Naruto, I am your friend...it's just things that are complicated right now," Sakura replied.
"Does this village mean more to you than our friendship?" Naruto asked in a sad tone.
"That's not fair Naruto!" Sakura replied in anger. "To you it may have been twenty years, but for the rest of us it was forty years. In that time a lot of things happened and sadly not much changed. True peace never came and the villages are still fighting with each other. The people of Konoha were devastated when they heard what happened to you and everyone was upset. We fought battle and moved on, we lost more friends and family in the battles we fought." Sakura then glares at Naruto. "Then you come out of nowhere looking only a few years older than when you went missing. While we were fighting battles and watching people we care for die, you were with your family being a kid and having fun. While we buried our comrades and friends, you were playing those video games and sports things with your siblings. While we cried over your death, you were laughing with them. SO DON'T YOU DARE TRY TO MAKE ME PICK BETWEEN THE VILLAGE AND YOU, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH FOR THE LAST FORTY YEAR!"
While at first Naruto was shocked by Sakura's rage, he then became furious himself near the end of her rant. "You think I had it easy there?!" Naruto started saying in a fit of rage. "When I got there I couldn't understand anything people were saying. Yeah Kurama made it easy so I could speak and understand their language, but I was still trapped in an unknown world alone as my four year old self. I had to learn how to read their language and a lot more while I was there. I was lucky that my parents found me or else I don't know where I would have ended up. I wasn't just playing around over there, every day I was trying to recreate the seal Sasuke used to try to come back. Yeah I goofed around and had fun with my siblings, but I always was thinking of the Elemental Nations and my friends. I looked for anything that might send me back because I was worried about my friends. Every day and night I would lay in bed and wonder what was going on here. I wonder if Sasuke had killed any of you, if he was dead, if any of you missed me, what was happening to all of you. As they years went on I wasn't sure if I would see any of you, in the end I did return." Naruto then glares at Sakura. "I return only to find out nothing has changed, everything I did was for nothing. Everyone here was still fighting, all the people that died in the war were for nothing. Then the Kages want me to give them the tools to completely destroy the Elemental Nation. Then you and my friends just want me to hand that stuff, none of you know what missiles, grenades, rocket launchers, or even a nuclear missile can do. I do and I will not be the one to destroy this world because some fools want them. You want to destroy this world then do it yourself. I MAY NOT HAVE SUFFERED AS MUCH AS YOU AND THE OTHERS I'LL ADMIT THAT, BUT DON'T YOU DARE THINK I WAS JUST OVER THERE HAVING FUN. I WAS WORRIED ABOUT EVERYONE WITH NO WAY TO SEE IF YOU GUYS WERE ALRIGHT. I HAD TO WORK HARD EVERY DAY OVER TO TRY TO COME BACK HERE. YEAH I HAD A FAMILY TO HAVE FUN WITH, BUT AFTER EVERYTHING I BEEN THROUGH IN MY LIFE I THINK I DESERVE SOME HAPPINESS IN MY LIFE!"
Sakura felt bad for what she said, but didn't stop glaring at Naruto. While Naruto knew she didn't mean to be that harsh, he still continued to match Sakura's glare. While the 2 continued to glare at one another a strange rift appeared beside them. They both wouldn't have noticed if they didn't hear a strange noise that came out of it. Both turned to see a modified quadcopter drone come out of the rift. It had a camera and microphone attached to it with the cord going through the rift and a small speaker under the camera. The drone started to spin so the camera could see what was in the room.
"W-W-What is that thing?!" Asked a startled Sakura.
"No way...is that..." Naruto said in a whisper. "Lisa is that you?" A hopeful Naruto asked.
The drone then spung to turn towards Naruto. {Ah there you are, eldest sibling unit} Lisa's voice came out of the speaker. {I am pleased that I have finally been able to locate you. It seems that the plan you came up with a year ago seems to work. I was able to build the device in question that would allow me to bring you back home in case of emergency. This rift is the fruit of my-} there was some noise before a new voice spoke. {Naruto is that you?} Lincoln's voice said.
"Yeah it's me Linc, who else is there beside you and Lisa?" A happy Naruto asked.
{Everyone, it's Saturday so we all decided-hey stop pulling shirt!. Guys I was-" the sounds of yelling and fighting then could be heard. {Naru, are you okay?} Rita's worried voice asked. {Are you hurt? What happened? Your clone said everything was fine and you would be back in a few days and then nothing.}
"I'm sorry mom, I ran into..." Naruto turns his head to glare at Sakura "...a small problem here."
{It had to be more than a small problem since you've been gone a year!} a pissed off Lynn Jr. voice said. {You told us a few days, a couple of weeks at most, then we didn't hear anything!}
"Naruto what is that thing?" Sakura asked since she already had an idea of who was talking to him.
"That is my way home," Naruto said in a cold tone as he turned to face her. "Now one of two things are going to happen. Either I'm going to walk through that rift after I set this shack on fire, or we are going to fight till I knock you out then I go through. No matter what, I'm going back to my family, so which one is it going to be Sakura?"
Sakura saw the determination in his eyes and knew that if she got in his way he would fight with everything he has. Even if it meant killing her or even himself. After contemplating on what to do she just let out a sigh. "Go, leave the shack to me" she said in a sad, guilty ,and slightly happy tone. "I'll make sure everything is destory so the other Kage think it was suicide or you were attacked while sleeping. You just be with your family, and I know it doesn't mean much now but I'm sorry about keeping you here. You are all I have left of team seven and I just didn't want lose you as well."
Naruto's eyes softened and went to give Sakura a hug. "Thank you Sakura," he said in a sad, happy, and comforting tone. "I'm sorry about how I acted, said, and left you alone again. I just miss my family and want to see them again."
"I understand, you have a family now," Sakura replied. She then pulls a scroll out of one of her sleeves and hands it to Naruto. "Inside that scroll are the ways to remove the seals on you. I can't do it here without alerting other shinobis, so you will have to do it when you're back home." Sakura looked at Naruto with a sad smile. "I guess this is goodbye Naruto, just have a happy life with your family."
"Yeah this is goodbye" Naruto replied with the same sad smile. "Also please find a way to tell the others I sorry about what I said to them." Sakura nodded in understanding, Naruto took a deep breath and walked through the rift. A few seconds after he went through the rift closed and disappeared. Sakura let out a sigh and started to gather every note and seal that was in the shack. She put them all together against a wall and set them on fire with a Katon (Fire Release) Jutsu. She walked out of the shack and stood next to a tree to watch the shack burn.
"Are you sure about letting him go?" A voice said from behind Sakura.
"He deserves to be with his family, not locked up like a prisoner" Sakura replied while still watching the shack. "Now Naruto is gone for good since the only people who knew the seal are gone. Sasuke died without giving us the seal and Naruto is back home. However I will be informing the other Kages that Naruto committed suicide in my letters to them. Unless you have a better idea, Shikamaru."
Shikamaru then stood beside Sakura, wearing standard Jonin clothing. He was Sakura's advisor and always came with her when she came to see Naruto. He would wait outside and listen through the door since the 2 of them would often just be yelling at each other. He believed Naruto knew he was there and just didn't say anything.
"It's too troublesome to come up with something else" Shikamaru replied in his usual lazy tone. "How are you going to tell the others about his apology?"
"I'll say he left a note," she replied happily. "This way it looks like the Hero of the war pushed to end his own life by the villages, instead of a joke by making it look like someone got lucky against him."
"You think people will see it like that and not as him being a coward?" Shikamaru asked with uncertainty in his voice.
"That's how I'm going to tell it" Sakura replied with conviction. "He did some much for us, he deserves to be seen as a Hero and not a joke." With that they stood there watching the shack burn and saying a silent goodbye to one of their friends.
[Back with Naruto]
Naruto had walked through the rift and what he saw on the other side had him shed some tears. He saw his family waiting with tears in their eyes and smiles on their faces, they all looked a little older but still the same. Even the stoic Lisa had a smile and tears. In a blink of an eye Naruto found himself in the middle of a family group hug.
"I'm home everyone" Naruto said as he returned the hug and cried some tears of joy. "I'm finally back home."
AN: That's the ending I was working towards. I wrote this back in June of 2017, when the show was just taking off. There was still a lot unknown at the time and I was planning on adding more things that were cannon. Now the reason why, it's simple I can't write slice of life stories. I can read a slice of life story or watch a slice of life show, but writing one is too much for my patience. I have no idea of how fast to move the story or how long to focus on character building. Even though I had a ending to work towards, figuring out when to move to the next big step and stay building characters was too much for my patience.
Now I did get a review that said "abandoned just because of boredom that happens when writing that is why you ask for help or join discords with authors to see if they are interested". Now I'm sure doing such things would help, however for myself I don't have the time for such things. Joining discord and talking with others about stories I can't do in my life. First thing I have never joined a discord in my life and unless I needed to I probably won't. Second, my main focus is my job and my house work, to me these things are more important than my stories. Finally I'm not writing these stories because I love writing or have a huge passion for writing. I often write these either on my way to or from work, only a few times do I write these on my days off. These stories will always take a backseat to other things in my life, whether it be important or not. The most I'm willing to do is answer reviews and PM.
