Scene 1: Main University Campus
[Track 1: Run, Sexy 0:00 - 1:05 (fadeout needed)] A young student walks down a path of a university campus. It is the dead of night, and everything seems to be silent. He shivers.
JACOB: Brr...It's getting cold out again...I suppose I should've packed my scarf after all...
Jacob continues his walk toward his apartment, sighing. He is nearby a fountain that is the centre of the campus when he notices a strange figure on the floor. He stops in his tracks and decides to inspect the scene further.
JACOB: Hello? Are you okay?
Jacob crouches down to inspect the figure further.
JACOB: Weird costume...Is this some kind of prank? 'Cos if so, it's not funny.
The figure stirs, and Jacob jumps back in shock.
JACOB: Oh! You scared me! Funny prank, haha. Who are you, anyway? And where's you get that costume? It looks so...real!
The creature growls and stands up to it's full height. It has the appearance of a gjant millipede, with the ability to support it's 'torso' and head to face upward.
JACOB: Woah...
The creature swipes one of it's legs at Jacob before he begins to run.
It cries out a deathly shrill and chases after them.
JACOB: The prank can finish now, it's not funny anymore! You got me, just drop it now!
He tries to enter several buildings, but all of which are closed. He pulls on one door repeatedly, which allows the creature to catch up with him. He cowers in the corner, covering his head with his hands.
JACOB: No! Please! Don't hurt me! Someone help!
The creature does not hurt him, but instead holds out one of it's many legs. Jacob does not notice, and the creature gurgles out a single word with a hoarse voice.
CREATURE: ...Hand...
Jacob turns to face it slowly, confused. He realises what the creature wants, and slowly holds out his hand.
JACOB: Huh? You want my hand? Do you want to shake my hand?
CREATURE: ...Yes...hand...
Jacob holds the creature's 'hand' and suddenly the creature morphs to take his form.
JACOB: What?! H-How...How did you do that?!
The creature smiles back at him, malice on his face.
CREATURE: It is what I am born to do. Thank you for your body, but now you are of no use to me, or any of my species.
JACOB: What...?
Jacob cries out as one of the creature's hands returns to normal pierces him. [Track 1 ends]

Scene 2: TARDIS
The Doctor is at work on the console, pressing various buttons and messing with pulleys. He adjusts his bow tie, inspecting himself in the glass reflection of his scanner's screen for a brief moment. His two companions, Amy and Rory enter the console room, still half-asleep. The Doctor pivots on his heels once he senses their arrival and beams.
DOCTOR: Ah, Ponds! Good morning!
Amy raises an eyebrow quizzically.
AMY: You seem unusually happy for the time of day.
DOCTOR: Of course I am! Why wouldn't I be?
He circles the console, excited.
DOCTOR: We've got lots planned for the morning. First, we're just popping into a local library, then breakfast with Jules Verne, then we'll go see how-
RORY: Did you say library? Why don't we just use the TARDIS library?
DOCTOR: Simple, Rory. We'd spend far too long searching for specific books and besides, wouldn't you agree that it's much more natural to study Earth Invasions on Earth?
AMY: Earth Invasions? What's gotten you so interested in reading about them all of a sudden? Is this the Time Tyrant again?
DOCTOR: ...Possibly. I don't like what he said. There's a storm approaching, and we need to be prepared. So! Books!
The Doctor finally pulls the lever and the TARDIS begins to hum, the Time Rotor moving once again.
Scene 3: University Library
[Track 2: Thomas Thomas] The TARDIS lands in a gap between two bookshelves in a library. The room is relatively quiet, with only a few students sat reading. The Doctor emerges from the TARDIS. He looks around as Amy and Rory follow him.
DOCTOR: Aha! Just the right place.
AMY: For a change.
The Doctor looks at them for a moment, somewhat offended. He mutters, shaking his head, proceeding to begin to search the shelves for books.
RORY: Won't we need a library card?
DOCTOR: Of course not! Psychic paper, remember?
AMY: Duh!
Amy sees a notice board and looks at it.
AMY: Hey, Doctor...?
DOCTOR: Ooh, I've been looking for that for a while.
The Doctor is picking up a large stack of books.
AMY: Doctor! Look.
The Doctor finally turns to follow Amy's line to the notice board. The notice board is filled with the usual notices about clubs, events and new rules...But they have been covered in missing posters.
DOCTOR: Hmm.
RORY: It might not be anything - people could just be getting lost, it's a big place, students are getting used to independence, getting drunk and all that.
AMY: Could be, but these are all in the past week.
DOCTOR: Ohh...I guess it can't harm to check.
Rory and Amy look at the Doctor, who smiles at them.
DOCTOR: Come along, Ponds!
The Doctor approaches the library desk, Amy and Rory following him.
AMY: So what's the plan? Just look around for something alien?
RORY: Normally, we don't just look for 'aliens'. We'll find something eventually.
The three finally approach the desk, which is staffed by an elderly woman with large, horn-rimmed glasses who is typing away at a computer that looks about 30 years old.
DOCTOR: Hello! I don't suppose you've seen anything...
The librarian continues typing at the computer.
DOCTOR: ...Hello?
LIBRARIAN: One moment.
The librarian finishes what she is doing and turns to face them.
LIBRARIAN: How can I help you?
DOCTOR: Well...I don't suppose you've seen anything...strange?
LIBRARIAN: You'll have to be specific.
DOCTOR: Anything...alien?
LIBRARIAN: Well...I suppose the food here is so bad it might be alien.
DOCTOR: Really? I must try that. Rory, remind me to check the food. Thank you for the help!
The Doctor begins to exit.
LIBRARIAN: Wait! Your books...!
RORY: Sorry.
Scene 4: Road
Rory and Amy run after the Doctor.
RORY: What now?
AMY: We don't even know what we're looking for. Those disappearances could be anything.
DOCTOR: They could. But do you know how I know it's not?
RORY: How?
DOCTOR: Sonic screwdriver!
He twirls his sonic in his hand, throwing it in the air and catching it.
AMY: Right, but what did it trace?
DOCTOR: From what it could find, something here is giving off masses of energy. It's as if it's changing shape! I couldn't quite figure out where it was though, it was too far away. Oh, well. We'll figure it out the good old-fashioned way!
He rubs his hand together excitedly, and runs off. Amy and Rory follow after him. [Track 2 ends]
Scene 5: Lecture Hall
A short, balding man in his late 40s stands by a whiteboard, teaching about the life cycle of a Mayfly. The bell rings for the end of the class, and the students all pick up their possessions before leaving.
ADRENALS: And don't forget to submit your essay for tomorrow! Take care , everyone.
The class files out except for one student in particular - Jacob. Mr. Adrenals begins to clean up his desk. He notices the student, and nods to him.
ADRENALS: Ah, hello, Jacob! How may I help you?
JACOB: Sir, I have been having some…
Jacob's neck twitches.
JACOB: ...issues.
Mr. Adrenals approaches the student.
ADRENALS: Oh? What appears to be the issue?
His neck twitches again.
JACOB: Well...you see...Sir...I'm...in need of a new form...
Another neck twitch.
ADRENALS: Form, Jacob? I don't think I understa-
Jacob's left arm morphs into the alien's dagger like hand. It stabs into Mr Adrenal's stomach. He screams in pain as Jacob begins to take the form of his Biology teacher. Mr. Adrenals collapses to the floor, dead. The new Adrenals licks his lips.
ADRENALS: Mmh...quite a delectable feast.
Scene 6: Main University Campus
The Doctor, Amy, and Rory are all following the signal coming from the sonic. Suddenly, the Doctor's face lights up.
DOCTOR: Aha!
AMY: What? What is it?
DOCTOR: I've gotten a signal! From...that fountain!
The three of them all run to the fountain, where the Doctor begins to inspect the fountain with his sonic screwdriver. He frowns.
DOCTOR: Hang on...that can't be right...I'm getting TWO signals.
AMY: Two?
RORY: Maybe it's a glitch?
DOCTOR: The sonic doesn't glitch. It's definitely two signs...And that second one...is fading! We need to get to the source, quickly!
AMY: But what about this one?
DOCTOR: I...good point! Well, I-
AMY: Don't worry. I'll go investigate the source and you and Rory stay here.
RORY: Don't I get a say in this?
AMY: Oh, you'll be fine! Which way is it?
DOCTOR: I believe it to be...that way.
The Doctor points, and Amy runs off toward the source.
DOCTOR: Now, Rory, we've got a job of our own...seeing what this is.
Rory reluctantly agrees.
Scene 7: Lecture Hall
Amy runs as fast as she can down corridors, eventually reaching a door at the end of the corridor. Amy bursts through to see Mr. Adrenals preparing for his lecture. He looks up at Amy.
ADRENALS: Can I help you, young lady?
Amy looks somewhat confused at first before returning to her previous demeanour.
AMY: Uh...yeah...sorry...I...thought I heard something.
ADRENALS: Oh, don't worry, just me.
AMY: Of course! What else could it be? Aliens?
Mr. Adrenals freezes for a moment, a solemn look on his face, before laughing.
ADRENALS: Of course not. Aliens don't exist. Why don't you come in?
Amy is hesitant, but closes the door.
Scene 8: University Campus- Fountain
[Track 3: Lost In The Wrong Stream] The Doctor and Rory are busy trying to find anything out of place on the fountain. The Doctor is using his sonic, whilst Rory stands watching.
RORY: So...what are we looking for exactly?
DOCTOR: I'm not sure. But, since there was two life cycles and only one that moves, I think we can deduce that THIS...must be a spaceship!
RORY: Of course it is. Every alien has one these days.
DOCTOR: Not any spaceship, a sentient one! It's been a while since I've seen one of those.
Suddenly, the fountain releases a hissing noise as the water stops running and one of the panels opens.
DOCTOR: Aha! There we go. Come along, Rory, let's see what we've got.
RORY: Coming.
Scene 9: Alien Spaceship
The Doctor and Rory enter a spaceship that is a dark black in colour. There are various flashing buttons, pulleys and dials, and a giant screen built into one of the walls. The screen is flashing red, displaying warning of a crash.
INTERFACE: WARNING. INCOMING SURFACE BREACH. INCOMING SURFACE BREACH. BRACE FOR IMPACT. BRACE. BRACE.
The Interface continues to repeat as Rory and the Doctor enter the cockpit.
DOCTOR: That's enough of that. Sentient computer off.
The Doctor approaches the screen and uses his sonic screwdriver.
DOCTOR: Now, let's see what we have here...
The Doctor looks around the cockpit, inspecting various parts of the controls. Rory, meanwhile, tries to do the same, but is clueless as to what any of the technology means.
DOCTOR: Yes, I thought so...I knew it was familiar.
RORY: What? What is it?
DOCTOR: I've seen this technology before.
RORY: You have?
DOCTOR: Well, back then...It was owned by the Saleraan.
RORY: The Saleraan? What's that?
DOCTOR: They're a shapeshifting race...Peri and I encountered them in the middle of a civil war. Nasty lot. Anyway, judging by the damage to this tech, I'd say...our alien friend is stuck here! We should be able to find them and send them home.
RORY: So, let me get this straight; you've sent Amy to meet a shape-shifting alien? Alone?
The Doctor is working on technology but stops at Rory's comment.
DOCTOR: You're right...! We need to get to her before that Saleraan can do anything. We've got to find her!
The two run toward the lecture halls.
Scene 10: Lecture Hall
Amy is sipping tea.
AMY: Well, this has been a nice...chat, but I've got to go. I've got an...uh, appointment to get to.
Mr. Adrenals frowns, putting down his cup of tea.
MR. ADRENALS: Oh, really? A pity, I'd not even gotten to the life of a Mayfly. Did you know there are over 3,000 species of mayfly?
AMY: No, I did not. But thanks for telling me!
Amy is sat on a chair across from Mr. Adrenal's lecture desk. She puts down her cup of tea on a saucer on the desk and gets up. Mr. Adrenals does the same.
MR. ADRENALS: Please, Amy, sit down.
AMY: Why?
MR. ADRENALS: There's still plenty to talk about.
AMY: I'm sorry, I've really got to go.
MR. ADRENALS: You must wait, please. The food is not ready.
AMY: What?
MR. ADRENALS: Oh, dear. I've done it again, haven't I? That's the problem with humans...they always trick you into telling the truth. Well, then...
Mr. Adrenals starts to stretch.
MR. ADRENALS: Dinner's coming early.
Mr. Adrenals starts to shapeshift. Amy screams.
Scene 11: Lecture Hall Corridors
The Doctor and Rory are searching for Amy when they hear her scream.
RORY: Doctor, that's Amy!
The two run toward the scream.
Scene 12: Lecture Hall
The Doctor and Rory rush into the lecture hall to watch a half-transformed Mr. Adrenals lunge at Amy. Amy swerves out of the way.
DOCTOR: Amy! Watch out!
AMY: Thanks for the help!
The Doctor and Rory rush down to fight the alien. The Doctor stops, searching his pockets.
RORY: Doctor, what are you doing?
The Doctor roots through his pockets, producing several items such as a Yo-Yo and a book called "The Man In The Blue Box". Meanwhile, Amy watches in horror as Mr. Adrenals transforms into a full Saleraan.
DOCTOR: No, not that...ah...oh, must finish that..
RORY: Doctor!
DOCTOR: Oh, yes, sorry.
The alien turns away from Amy, and begins to run towards the Doctor and Rory. He is still searching his pockets.
DOCTOR: You see, the thing about Saleraan, is that they have...a weakness. They...hate…
He takes out a dog whistle.
DOCTOR: Loud noises!
The Saleraan lets out a cry, but before it can attack the Doctor blows on the dog whistle. The Saleraan shrieks, dropping to the floor. It tries to get up, but the Doctor whistles again.
DOCTOR: Aha! Still got it. Right, now, how do I deal with a giant millipede in a lecture hall?
RORY: Is it dead?
DOCTOR: Dead? 'Course not! Just...weakened. Needs time to heal. But that gives us time to move it!
AMY: Couldn't you have found that quicker?
DOCTOR: That's not the problem. Now! Killer shapeshifting alien. Judging by how long he's been out, and how long Saleraan usually take, I'd say we've got about…
He flicks his wrist, inspecting his watch.
DOCTOR: Three minutes! Give or take. Come along, Ponds, if we're quick, we can get him into the TARDIS.
The Doctor turns to face his companions, grinning. Behind him, the Saleraan begins to shuffle.
AMY: Doctor..?
DOCTOR: (still grinning) What?
Amy points at the Salderaan, which begins to crawl the wall. The Doctor turns to face the giant milipede and his smile falls.
DOCTOR: Ah.
SALERAAN: (hissing) I...will...feed!
The Saleraan growls, breaking through a window out into campus.
DOCTOR: Yes, that is an issue! Quickly!
The trio run out of the lecture halls and out onto campus.
Scene 13: University Campus
The Saleraan is eating everyone in its path, with the campus filled with screams. Multiple people are running away.
DOCTOR: Oi! Saleraan! Over here!
The Doctor waves his dog whistle in the air. The Saleraan turns to face him.
DOCTOR: Stop this now. Or I'll have no choice but to use this.
SALERAAN: I...must...feed.
DOCTOR: There are plenty of planets in the universe to do that. But not here. This planet is protected!
SALERAAN: I...must...feed...on humans..!
The Saleraan continues its rampage.
DOCTOR: No!
The Doctor blows on his whistle, but to no effect.
DOCTOR: Ah, yes, forgot about that.
RORY: About what?
DOCTOR: Now it's healed from that particular noise, I'll need another loud one. Like...a jet! No, it'd take too long to get here. Bells..? Yes bells could work.
But where would I get a bell..?
RORY: Maybe just...I dunno...pull one from your pocket?
DOCTOR: No, Rory, I mean a BIG bell. Like..
The Doctor looks around. He spots a clock tower situated at the top of the main building.
DOCTOR: A clock tower! Bingo. Now we just need to figure out how to guide it..
AMY: What about something from the spaceship?
DOCTOR: Yes! Genius idea, I knew I kept you two for a reason. Now, let's regroup at the tower. You two, run to the Tower whilst I distract the Saleraan up there. Good luck!
The Doctor's companions nod and do as instructed. The Doctor, meanwhile, approaches the spaceship. [Track 3 ends]
Scene 14: Saleraan Spaceship
[Track 4: A Useful Striker] The Doctor enters the spaceships whilst the Saleraan rampages outside. He searches around the small spacecraft, looking for anything valuable.
DOCTOR: Now, if I were a Saleraan...what would I value most in this ship...Astral Defractor...? No, that's too hard to remove...hm, what about...Aha!
The Doctor rips the flight chart off of the wall. He exits the spaceship, and yells for the Saleraan from the entrance.
DOCTOR: Oi! Saleraan! Look what I found.
The Saleraan turns from climbing a nearby building. Upon noticing what the Doctor has taken, it growls and jumps off of the wall, running towards the Doctor.
DOCTOR: Ah, yes, should've thought about that.
The Doctor hastily runs towards the main building.
Scene 15: Admissions Building
The Doctor runs inside, slamming the glass doors. He quickly searches for something to barricade the entrance, selecting a nearby drinks dispenser. Putting the flight chart on the reception desk, he moves the drinks machine. However, within a few moments, the Saleraan breaks through the glass doors, knocking over the drinks machine.
DOCTOR: What? I don't remember you doing that! That... is naughty!
The Doctor picks up the flight path and follows the nearby sign to the top of the building: The clock tower.
Scene 16: Clock Tower
Amy and Rory run up and prepare the bell. Her phone begins to buzz.
AMY: It's him!
Amy hurriedly picks up the phone.
Scene 18: Clock Tower Stairwell
The Doctor is running up a long flight of stairs toward the two. He has the flight chart under his arm, and the Saleraan crawling behind him.
AMY (oc): Hello?
DOCTOR: Amy! Thank goodness you're okay. Listen, I haven't got much time, but do not ring the bell until I say. There has to be a timing with the bell!
Amy is still stood atop the clock tower with Rory.
AMY: Okay. Not yet. Got it.
DOCTOR: Okay, I'll see you soo- Woah!
The Doctor is narrowly missed by the Saleraan's poised claw.
AMY: Doctor! Are you okay?
DOCTOR: Yes, just almost hit by a claw. See you soon!
The Doctor hangs up.
Scene 19: Clock Tower
The Doctor finally climbs to the top and stands on the tower wall. The Saleraan follows after, but stops before the stairs.
DOCTOR: Now, Saleraan, I'm going to give you one chance to leave this planet before I have no choice but to remove you myself.
SALERAAN: I.. must... feed..
DOCTOR: I was afraid you'd say that.
The Doctor drops the chart, which lands on the grass below.
DOCTOR: Now!
Rory runs to ring the bell, but the Saleraan hits Rory. He slides over the edge, clinging onto it.
AMY: Rory!
Amy runs to help Rory climb up, but the Saleraan blocks her path. The Doctor begins to ring the bells, but to no effect as the Saleraan jumps off of the building to retrieve it's map.
DOCTOR: No!
The trio run to the wall and watch the Saleraan lay motionless on the floor.
DOCTOR: I'm sorry.
He looks down. [Track 4 ends]
Scene 20: Campus
[Track 5: Thank you Craig] The Doctor stands by the body of the Saleraan, with Amy and Rory nearby.
AMY: So...what now?
DOCTOR: Well, I suppose we move on.
RORY: And the body?
The body disintegrates.
RORY: Oh...
DOCTOR: Now, I think the fountain should be fine where it is. I'll lock the door, and so long as nobody has a sonic device, we should be fine. But first.. I need to get that book from the library. Come along, Ponds.
The Doctor pulls his companions in, and they set off for the library.
Rory looks back.
RORY: Doctor!
The humans that have been killed are in the same space as the Saleraan. They all get up, dazed and confused. They smile, and walk off. [Track 5 ends]
Scene 22: TARDIS
The Doctor is reading. He shuts the book.
DOCTOR: Yes...that's the place.
He runs over to the console and starts pulling a few levers. The sound of gunfire and explosions are heard.
Scene 23: Sea
Smoke drifts over the still water. Through the fog, it seems a large boat is approaching.
