Track 6: Run, Sexy (Doctor Who Series 6 OST)
Scene 1: Cafe
Amy and Rory are sat on a rooftop balcony underneath an umbrella, drinking coffee. In the landscape is Westminster Bridge, the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament and the River Thames. It is raining.
RORY: This is nice, isn't it? We don't need the TARDIS for amazing views...aside from the rain.
AMY: It's been three weeks.
RORY: He's been gone for longer.
AMY: What about the Elite? He said we could take a break, but why? Is he finishing off the invasions alone?
RORY: He'll call. He always does. I'll go pay, you just finish your coffee.
AMY: Fine.
Rory walks off, as does an older man, leaving his newspaper on the table. Amy picks it up and reads it. The image is of an unknown object casting a shadow upon the moon with the headline: ALIEN INVASION?
Amy puts it down and starts to send a text, when she notices - the rain has frozen. She touches one of the droplets and a flash of light engulfs them.
CUT TO:
Rory wakes up on the floor. Amy is bent beside him.
RORY: What happened? Did I pass out?
AMY: We all did. It's happening again.
Amy and Rory look out the window. The leaves are not swaying in the breeze. The rain drops are not falling. The wind is not howling.
RORY: Oh, no.
Scene 2: London
Everything has stopped.
ROLL TITLES
Scene 3: Ponds' House: Kitchen
[Track 1: The British are Coming 0:00 - 0:50] Amy and Rory are thinking.
AMY: So there's no phone service, so no Doctor.
RORY: Meanwhile, there's a Time Lord we thought dead on the loose who has frozen the world. Again.
AMY: What do the newspapers say?
RORY: To keep calm. They resolved it before, they'll resolve it again.
AMY: Nothing happened similar to the spaceship? No frozen people?
RORY: Not yet.
AMY: You went to the lake?
RORY: Yep, there's nothing there. What did the police say?
AMY: They wouldn't give anything to me.
RORY: You're a reporter, you couldn't get anything from them?
AMY: A travel reporter! I don't deal with the police!
RORY: Alright, alright. So we've got no leads.
AMY: Well, there's got to be something! The rain has been in the same place for two days! Have you seen how people are holding umbrellas now?
Amy holds out an unopened umbrella and points it forward.
AMY: Like this!
RORY: Well, I think everyone's doing it because of Taylor Swift.
AMY: I'm going to where the TARDIS last materialised. Perhaps there's a clue on how to contact him there.
Amy walks out, holding onto the umbrella. She finds a card on the doormat. She picks it up and opens it. Reading it, she looks to Rory.
AMY: Rory? Rory!
She passes it to Rory.
AMY: Get your car.
Amy and Rory run out.
Scene 4: Road
They jump into the car and speed off. [Track 1 ends]
Scene 5: Hospital Ward
Rory talks to one of the nurses. Amy hurries on in front.
RORY: How long has he been here?
NURSE: 4 hours.
RORY: And you didn't think to call?
NURSE: We couldn't, the phone lines are down.
RORY: Right. How long would you say he's been frozen like this?
They pull back one of the curtains. The Doctor is lying on the bed, paralysed.
NURSE: We're not sure, we've never seen anything like this before.
AMY: Where was he found?
NURSE: By this police box on the corner. Officers used to put criminals in-
AMY: Yeah, we know.
The nurse walks off. [Track 2: My Silence 0:31 - 1:13]
AMY: Doctor? Can you hear me? How do we get you free, what do we do?
RORY: The TARDIS might be able to help.
AMY: It's different to last time, why?
RORY: Huh?
AMY: The Doctor got old before when the Time Tyrant last did this, do you remember? So why didn't he?
RORY: As I say, let's find out. The TARDIS.
AMY: Yeah. Yeah, the TARDIS. Shouldn't we take him back to the TARDIS? That might help.
RORY: How would we be able to get him out of the hospital?
AMY: We could bring the TARDIS up.
RORY: We can't fly the TARDIS.
AMY: I've watched him, I might be able to.
RORY: Have a go, but most importantly find out what happened to him.
AMY: Alright. What about you?
RORY: I'll do my job.
AMY: Good idea. Look after him - and yourself.
RORY: You too.
AMY: Don't worry, Doctor. We'll save you.
Amy and Rory share a kiss, and Amy walks off. [Track 2 ends]
Scene 6: Street Corner
The hospital is in the background as Amy approaches the queasy box.
AMY: TARDIS, don't fail me now.
The doors open, revealing the inner console.
AMY: You're still here too.
Amy walks into the TARDIS.
Scene 7: TARDIS
[Track 3: 1969] She runs up to the console.
AMY: Hello, again. Miss me? Mind helping me out?
The TARDIS responds with a quiet grumble.
AMY: Thank you. Which button is the scanner?
A red button lights up. She presses it and static shows up on the screen.
AMY: Why isn't it showing anything? Oh, of course. Real time is different to Earth time, they're not synced up. Do you record the footage? Can you show what happened to the Doctor?
An image starts to appear on the screen. On the recording, the Doctor exits the TARDIS.
AMY: Result!
She watches the footage.
Scene 8: Street Corner
The TARDIS materialises jerkily. The Doctor steps out.
DOCTOR: That took a while, didn't it? Now, why did this invasion stop you from landing? What is this invasion?
The Doctor looks around. He realises.
DOCTOR: Now, that's not right. That can't be-
TIME TYRANT: Oh, but it is.
The Time Tyrant walks towards him.
TIME TYRANT: I fought hard to hold back your TARDIS, but you overcame my efforts.
DOCTOR: I don't like to be late for the party. Why are you doing this again?
TIME TYRANT: The Elite have commanded me to.
DOCTOR: The Elite? You know them?
TIME TYRANT: I do. Once, they would've been my sworn enemy, but with the favour they did me, how could I resist?
DOCTOR: Favour?
TIME TYRANT: Freedom. After that sadistic stunt you pulled on me last time.
DOCTOR: Sadistic? You froze the Earth!
TIME TYRANT: Blah, blah.
The Time Tyrant snaps his fingers, and the Doctor slows down.
TIME TYRANT: Uh, uh. Key first.
The Time Tyrant takes the TARDIS key out of the Doctor's pocket.
TIME TYRANT: Thank you for this. I'm sure I'll gain a lot of brownie points. Perhaps I'll learn about the Master Plan.
The Time Tyrant walks towards the box.
Scene 9: TARDIS
Amy looks about.
TIME TYRANT: Up here.
Amy spins around quickly. The Time Tyrant is on the balcony. He starts to swagger down the stairs to the console.
TIME TYRANT: No need to be frightened. I could've hurt you a long time ago.
AMY: What do you want?
TIME TYRANT: What the Elite have granted me. Revenge. Destruction. Dominion. I have a functioning TARDIS once again, the key to perpetual stasis. I shall turn this machine into the heart of this power that I control. Once I have validity from the Elite, there will be no passage of time, for I will be its Keeper!
The Time Tyrant smirks evilly. [Track 3 ends]
AMY: Oh, so you don't control this. The Elite do.
TIME TYRANT: What? No, I do.
AMY: But you need to ask the Elite for permission first.
[Track 4: This is Where It Gets Complicated]
TIME TYRANT: I am indebted to them, I respect their Master Plan and do not intend to ruin it.
AMY: But if you want control time, then surely you'll need to control the Elite too!
The Time Tyrant growls and snaps his fingers. He pauses in confusion.
AMY: Sorry, you're outside of your jurisdiction. Your powers don't work here.
TIME TYRANT: Then I'll have to extend it myself. I don't care about the Elite.
The Time Tyrant pushes Amy away and starts working at the console.
AMY: Are you sure you want to do that? Definitely sure?
TIME TYRANT: Absolutely!
The Time Tyrant pulls a lever, and everything powers down.
AMY: Whoops.
The Time Tyrant glares at Amy.
TIME TYRANT: What have you done?
AMY: Nothing. It's all you. The Doctor once told me about the state of temporal grace.
TIME TYRANT: What's that got to do with anything? It prohibits weapons in here!
AMY: When the Doctor repaired it, he made an upgrade. He wouldn't let the TARDIS become a source of a weapon itself.
TIME TYRANT: It isn't a weapon.
AMY: Yes it is. You're damaging time.
TIME TYRANT: What do you know? You're a mortal! I am a God, my people controlled the space-time continuum!
AMY: I've travelled with the Doctor long enough to understand the concept of what you're doing. So I've got to stop you.
TIME TYRANT: How?
AMY: The only way I know how.
Amy clicks her fingers and the doors shut. The TARDIS chaotically dematerialises.
TIME TYRANT: Idiot! You're trapping yourself too!
AMY: I'm really not.
Amy runs downstairs. At the base of the console, she unplugs one of the wires and attaches it to her hand. The TARDIS starts to rematerialise.
AMY: Telepathic circuits. Bringing me right where we need to be.
[Track 4 ends] The doors burst open. Rory drags the Doctor inside.
RORY: You took your time! 2 hours!
The Doctor gasps and grabs Rory's arm.
RORY: Doctor!
DOCTOR: Rory...Time Tyrant…
TIME TYRANT: Yes?
The Time Tyrant has hold of Amy.
TIME TYRANT: Look what you must sacrifice. Could you let her die to save time?
RORY: Let her go!
Rory charges at the Time Tyrant, but he retaliates, knocking Rory back over the railing.
AMY: Rory!
DOCTOR: Look what you're doing to this world. You're killing them all.
TIME TYRANT: Shut up, Doctor. You're not one to talk to me about murder. Just accept that I have triumphed over you. Now, Amelia Pond. You're coming with me.
The Time Tyrant disappears with Amy.
DOCTOR: No!
Rory gets up, scared.
Scene 10: Hospital Lobby
The Doctor and Rory walk through.
DOCTOR: It's a short-range teleport. That's how he escaped. I'm tracing it back to it's source, but the variables are too wide. It's somewhere in London, definitely. It's between Big Ben and...Bill's Soho Restaurant.
Rory sees something and walks off.
DOCTOR: Perhaps if there was some sort of sign or-
RORY: Doctor!
The Doctor looks behind him. Rory is reading a newspaper.
RORY: A couple of days ago. Strange lights around Trafalgar Square.
DOCTOR: That's our best shot. Come on!
They run out.
Scene 11: Trafalgar Square
A taxi stops. The Doctor and Rory climb out.
DOCTOR: Up there!
On Nelson's Column, a bright spherical ball of blue light circles above it. [Track 5: Time is Moving]
DOCTOR: Okay, we don't have long. The Time Tyrant will know we're coming and I don't know what he'll send to stop us.
RORY: What's your plan?
DOCTOR: I'm going to climb Nelson's Column. See ya!
The Doctor runs towards the statue.
RORY: What?!
He climbs up the plaque and steadies himself.
RORY: You're an idiot.
Police officers run over.
OFFICER: Oi! Watch out! Get down from there!
RORY: Hey, mate. He knows what he's doing.
OFFICER: You'll hurt yourself! Come down!
RORY: Listen, he can fix what's happened to the planet!
OFFICER: By climbing a landmark?
Something falls to the floor. Rory looks down. It's the psychic paper. He holds it up.
RORY: See?
OFFICER: Of course, I see. We'll keep everyone back.
The officers run off. Rory looks about and nods to himself.
RORY: Yeah.
The Doctor continues to climb the plinth.
Scene 12: Time Control Unit
Amy is tied up. The Time Tyrant watches the Doctor climb Nelson's Column.
TIME TYRANT: No, no, no.
The Time Tyrant presses a few buttons.
TIME TYRANT: Stop messing with me!
Scene 13: Trafalgar Square
The Doctor watches more balls of light swirl around the column, before smashing into it.
DOCTOR: Woah, woah!
He avoids the blasts and continues to climb.
DOCTOR: That was close-
He slips and falls. He lands in one of the spheres.
Scene 14: Time Control Unit
The Doctor lands on the floor.
DOCTOR: Augh...You know, you should really have a cushion there.
TIME TYRANT: You timed that too well.
DOCTOR: Well, I've fallen before. At least now I know how not to die.
TIME TYRANT: It doesn't matter
DOCTOR: Amy, are you alright?
AMY: Always.
DOCTOR: Please, fix what you've done. You can call this off, you don't have to do this. What do you want me to do?
TIME TYRANT: There's nothing that can be done. This is what the Elite want and I am obligated to obey.
DOCTOR: Who are the Elite?
TIME TYRANT: You know who they are. You've always known them.
DOCTOR: No, I don't, just tell me.
TIME TYRANT: This is getting dull.
He snaps his fingers and disappears in a flash, running faster than the Doctor can comprehend, tying him up too. [Track 5 ends]
Scene 15: Trafalgar Square
[Track 6: Run, Sexy] Rory looks up in anticipation.
OFFICER: How long will he take?
RORY: I don't know.
OFFICER: You know what his plan is?
RORY: Nope.
OFFICER: Are you sure he can do this?
RORY: Nope.
OFFICER: Then why are we trusting him if you don't know anything? We should we trust you?
RORY: That I do know. Because he's saved the world before. Last time, the UN didn't sort it. He did.
OFFICER: Then how don't you know he will save us again?
RORY: Because I really don't see how he's getting out of this one. We should help him.
OFFICER: We've got some reinforcements en route.
RORY: Okay, good.
He paces frantically.
Scene 16: Time Control Unit
The Doctor struggles.
DOCTOR: What are you doing?
TIME TYRANT: Following new orders. I shall send a broadcast forcing the planet to surrender. Once they have done so, the planet will be released and the Elite will instigate Phase 2.
DOCTOR: What's Phase 2?
TIME TYRANT: I don't know. They're playing their cards close to their chest, as humans might say.
DOCTOR: But you know who they are.
TIME TYRANT: Correct.
DOCTOR: Why would they tell you? Why didn't they tell the Cybermen, or Superious?
TIME TYRANT: Because I am to join them.
DOCTOR: Really? You are going to join them? The people who let dozens of other missions fail? They're using you.
TIME TYRANT: When the planet does surrender, I know one thing. They will torture you endlessly. And I will be delighted in that fact as I watch you burn-
There is a flash of light. They are all blinded. As the light subsides, five police officers and Rory spread out.
OFFICER: Hands in the air!
TIME TYRANT: You think you can stop me?
DOCTOR: Be careful!
The Time Tyrant runs about speedily once again. The police officers look left to right, shocked.
OFFICER: Where is he? I can't-Aagh!
The officers are knocked to the floor. Rory frees the Doctor and Amy.
DOCTOR: I knew we could rely on you!
The Doctor takes the sonic out and uses it on the controls. They spark, and the Time Tyrant slows back down.
DOCTOR: Make sure the officers are okay.
Amy and Rory help the police back up. The Doctor pushes the Tyrant to the floor.
DOCTOR: Watch him!
The police surround him, grabbing and detaining him. The Doctor runs to the controls.
DOCTOR: Just got to reverse the effects once more.
TIME TYRANT: But the natural disasters-
DOCTOR: -Aren't there. It needs to be safe for the Elite. And...back to normal!
He presses a button. Everything starts to glitch out of existence.
AMY: What's happening?
DOCTOR: Brace yourselves!
They all prepare as the room disappears. [Track 6 ends]
Scene 17: Trafalgar Square
They all wake up on the floor. Trees are swaying, birds are chirping. They are drenched in rain.
AMY: Oh, you wouldn't believe how happy rain is making me right now.
DOCTOR: Let's finish this.
The Doctor walks over to the Time Tyrant.
DOCTOR: What are the Elite planning?
TIME TYRANT: I don't know. Honestly, I don't.
[Secret Track 7]
DOCTOR: Fine. Then tell me this. That spaceship near the Moon. What was it for? Your getaway car?
TIME TYRANT: What?
DOCTOR: The spaceship, what was it?
TIME TYRANT: I don't understand.
DOCTOR: It's a simple enough question.
TIME TYRANT: I don't have a spaceship.
DOCTOR: Of course you do. This is a trick.
TIME TYRANT: No, I don't. I promise.
DOCTOR: Then...if it's not yours, who does it belong to?
They look at each other with dread.
DOCTOR: The Elite. Amy, do you have a photo?
AMY: I think I still have the newspaper in my bag.
Amy takes out the newspaper.
TIME TYRANT: Please, you have to let me go now.
DOCTOR: No chance.
The Doctor snatches it and looks at it.
DOCTOR: No. No, no, no. It can't be. Amy, why didn't you tell me it was them?
AMY: What? Who?
TIME TYRANT: I need to escape!
There is a loud sonic boom coming from above. They all fall to the floor.
RORY: What's going on?
DOCTOR: They're invading! Look!
From the sky, a Dalek ship starts to descend.
DOCTOR: The Daleks!
EMPEROR (oc): Subjects of Earth, we are the Daleks! Submit to our supremacy or be exterminated!
Dozens more Dalek ships enter the atmosphere, firing at random buildings. Panic ensues the streets. The Time Tyrant breaks free and escapes.
RORY: After him!
DOCTOR: No! We've got bigger problems now!
EMPEROR (oc): You belong to us!
DOCTOR: Run! Run!
AMY: Run where?!
DOCTOR: Just go, split up! We'll see each other soon!
The Doctor runs off.
AMY: Doctor, no!
Amy runs after the Doctor, but another explosion separates them.
RORY: Amy, come on!
Daleks fly out of the ship and start to patrol the land.
EMPEROR (oc): Earth is now our property!
Everyone tries to run, but the Daleks continue to attack.

Scene 20: Moscow
