Chapter V : storm's loyalty to the sky & byakuran de Gesso
A week already passed since hayato follow tsuna back to Giglionero mansion. Tsuna introduce hayato to yuni, hayato honestly don't know how to respond to these situation. Not only he meet a fluffy boy who help him, he also meet the boy's father whose famous within the mafia, not to mention he now stay at giglionero's mansion, one of the biggest and oldest mafia famiglia in Italy, he even meet the boss and her daughter. These past days for hayato was like a cure to his hurt heart, tsuna or cielo was a boy who doesn't hesitate to help someone in need like him without anything in return. Together with tsuna was these days made hayato remember his days with his piano teacher whose actually his birth mother.
Hayato telling tsuna everything about him, his family, his mother, and about how he alone that day in the alley. Tsuna only listen to him while occasionally pat his head and let his head lean to his shoulder. Hayato tell tsuna everything even what he heard the maids talking and their suspicion of his father killing his mother or how miserable his step-mother not getting his love.
"hayato, are you sure it's your father ? I mean we don't hear anything from your father" said tsuna
"i… I don't know, but when I hear that from the maids I became angry with my father and everything he lied to me" said hayato
"maybe your father has his own reason, you never know whether your father love you or not if you don't ask him yourself" said tsuna
"…. Did.. did you think he will answer everything ? about the truths ? and about why he couldn't let my mother live with us ?" asked hayato
" I am sure if you ready face the truth, your father will tell you everything you wish to know" said tsuna
"….. will you beside me when I ask him ?" asked hayato hopefully
"… of course, we are friends after all" said tsuna smilling
When hayato sees tsuna's smile, he couldn't help but feel warm like a blanket warps around him act as mother's warm hug to accept and welcome him. He feel tsuna was like a sky that accept, envelope all in it's embrace like a home for everyone. That very moment hayato realise something, although he doesn't understand everything but he know tsuna was his home, his place to come back, to smile, he know tsuna become his reason to live, to move forward to the future. When hayato realise that their flame without they realise become connect to each other, it's not strong yet but that very connection was their beginning in their journey later on.
After that tsuna ask hayato to follow him to study together, hayato accept considering he doesn't have anything to do. When they arrived in room, hayato feel like he have heart attack because what waiting in the room wasn't some ordinary tutor, but the sun arcobaleno, reborn with his blond student. Hayato already heard about reborn's blond student from his father, Dino cavallone, the only heir of cavallone famiglia. He heard the boy was a wimp so before his father died, he ask a favour to vongola to hired reborn in grooming dino as a boss. And to think he was be able meeting reborn here as his friend, tsuna's tutor, it's like dream become true. While it's right he was heir candidate to falcone and male heir at that, reborn was hayato's idol since he heard him from his father. He want to become like reborn strong and unyield, the unbeating number one-hitman.
"you.. gokudera hayato ?" asked reborn
"ye-yes, sir!" hayato really nervous standing in front of him.
"uncle reborn" tsuna greet
"…hmm, you certainly found something interesting cielo" said reborn
"uncle ?" asked tsuna
"well, let's start. Tsuna, you know about flames right ?" said reborn
"yes, dad tel it to me a few days ago" said tsuna
"hoh.. what did he tell you ?" asked reborn
" there is six flames ; sky, rain,cloud,mist,storm,lighting,sun. each element had each own role and character" said tsuna.
"explain the role and the character of each flames" said reborn
" first was storm flames, it was highly offensive, primarily used for attacking. With its Disintegration characteristic, it causes anything that it touches to decay and break apart, including other Dying Will Flames. It can also minimize the effect of other Flame-enhanced attacks or break through other Flames, ' to be Continuously at the heart of the attack, the furious Storm that never rests'
The next one is rain flame, it has tranquility characteristic allows it to weaken anything it touches. It can be used to slow down the opponent's movements or attacks. It can also negate and cancel out other flames, 'To square away conflict and wash away the blood spilled. The Requiem of Rain.'
Sun flames has activation characteristic of Sun Flames has the power to induce and improve the efficiency of any type of activity. It can increase the rate of blood flow and cell regeneration, making it optimal for support roles such as healing and strengthening individuals. Sun Flames can also stimulate muscles and joints, increasing the user's body functions drastically, 'Destroying the misfortune that attacks the Famiglia with their own body, they become the Sun that brightly shines upon an area.'
The Lightning Flame is known as the toughest flame due to its characteristic, Hardening. Lightning Flames can be employed to solidify and increase the firmness of objects. By themselves, the Flames can be used defensively by projecting a solid barrier and offensively by cutting like a sharp blade. It can also be used to electrocute like actual electricity, 'To draw damage to himself and away from the rest of the Famiglia, serving as a lightning rod.'
The Mist Flames characteristic was construction, makes it optimal to be used in conjunction with illusions. It can be used to create real illusions, easily fooling the senses. The created real illusions can be used for either escaping or rendering the opponent vulnerable for an attack. Stronger illusions can also affect bodily functions, 'Creating from nothing into something, turning something into nothing; bewildering the enemy, so making the famiglia untouchable.'
Cloud flame was rare like sky flames, it has Propagation character, it's carries the ability of increasing and multiplying. As such, it is suited for anything that involves increase of size and multiplication of numbers. It is highly advantageous when performing techniques involving a large area, such as creating a cyclone or an impervious force field, 'A drifting Cloud, whom cannot be bound. Protecting the famiglia from an independent standpoint.'
The last one was sky flame, the user of this flames was more rare than cloud. its characteristic, Harmony, represents a state without contradiction nor flaws in which the balance of the whole is maintained. Sometimes sky flame's harmony characteristic allows it to combine with other types of Dying Will Flames to create a new one, 'Sun, Lightning, Storm, Rain, Mist, Cloud- He envelops them all, he accepts them all. That is the Sky's purpose.'" said tsuna
"good. Tsuna, you have what we call sky flames, it has orange color. Sky's flames user bonded to other six flames, usually it's one for each flames type but there is some rare occurance where sky flames bonded more than one, it's happen if the user has strong flames. Do you understand why I explain this ?" asked reborn
"… uncle want me to bond to other flames ?" said tsuna
"yes, this bond called courting in mafia term. Those who bond with you was called guardian" said reborn
"how I bond ? and with who?" asked tsuna
"first, I want you and gokudera to active your flames and learn to control it. After that try to flare up your flames slowly without force and try to connect each other flame, if gokudera your fated guardian he can harmonise with you, if not I want you to put out your flame. You must remember don't use force, flame courting must be done by nature. Do you understand ?" said reborn
"yes, uncle" said tsuna
"yes, reborn-san" said hayato
Reborn teach tsuna and hayato mediating in the morning and basic training in the afternoon, every two days tsuna will not train with reborn but be taught by gamma and other tutor he hired to study basic knowledge within mafia and school lesson twice a week. Two weeks later tsuna active his flame with hayato three days later after him, for reborn's surprise tsuna and hayato immedietly harmonise the moment both of them flare up their flames. This was never heard tobe harmonise so quickly. But this prove they're fated to each other as a sky and guardian.
Reborn was very much excited when tsuna start his flame physical training, he brought all course he use for dino. Gamma at first worry for tsuna's health but after he saw reborn know what he's doing he let him train tsuna and hayato as he like. Once a month reborn made tsuna and hayato go against dino, dino was horrified of what reborn planning. He hestitant but after getting reborn's look he do it. The result was tie, because dino clumsiness come, reborn punish him for it. But he glad seeing improvement in tsuna and hayato, especially tsuna.
One day falcone famiglia sent request to giglionero to take hayato as it's member, they also sent hayato's dad letter and package for him. In the request, it's explain that the head already decide to give hayato as formal heir and to give all the famiglia fortune for him as bianchi, hayato's older sister decide to be freelance like her first idol (and future lover in her mind though, reborn never agree nor he disagree), the greatest hitman reborn. Hayato's father was happy to hear his son get harmonise with a sky that was gamma's son. In such he write that kind of request to giglio nero famiglia.
Hayato open the letter from his father ;

Hayato, how are you ?
Are you well ? did giglio nero treat you well ?
I know why you go away from home, I never blame you. Hayato, you never unloved child, I and your mother love you. Your mother can't be with you not because I don't love her but because her illness, your mother was sick not even best doctor can treat her. While it's true she can't acknowledge you because mafia rule but the true reason she doesn't want to be either with you or me was because of this illness. Your mother know well that she can't be with us for a long time, she doesn't want to rob your future with her illness. I always come to her to persuade her but she didn't even budge with her decision. Even so I want you to know your mother, to feel her love so I appaled her to be your music teacher so she can at least be with you.
Hayato, your birth mother accident while it's true someone instigated it she died before the accident. Her illness caught up to her, she died in the middle of going to our mansion. I already sent your mother first and last gift to giglio nero mansion, open it son, she prepare it just for you. Beside your gift was a box contain mine and your mother letter to each other, I hope you can understand although me and your mother can't be together at least our love for you was real.

Hayato then open the gift, inside it was a small music box, there is some word in front of the music box. ''Al mio caro figlio, hayato' . Hayato cried when he see this, his mother love him to the point she dare to let go her right as mother for his future. When tsuna see hayato cry he just hug him tight and cried with him.
Hayato tell tsuna everything, his mother illness, her feeling, what she sacrifried for him until his father silent support and love for him and his mother. His father maybe powerful mafia boss but he is weak for not being able to help his loved one, his father blame himself for his mother's dead, his step mother jealousy and his sister and him happiness.
" hayato, I don't if your father or mother right or wrong but I know at the very least they have love inside them for each other and they give all their love for you, their son. You are fortunate hayato to have love from them, cherish it and never forget" said tsuna.
"yes" said hayato
"you know, in the past I longed such a love but my parents never give me, they ignore me because my illness was weakness to them, I hate it, I curse them in my heart" said tsuna as he remember
"but, didn't sir gamma love you ?" asked hayato
"dad was not my birth father, my birth parents was from japan. From what I heard from my grandpa nono I was sick because bad people put something bad inside me and make me sleep long time so my parents became confuse, but no matter what I do they never see me, never love me like they do to my younger brother, they even throw me away, let me dying alone if not for dad pick me up" said tsuna
"how can they ?! you are not weak! You even stood against dino who older than you!" said hayato angry
"grandpa nono said they are confuse and don't understand their own heart but… I hate it hayato, hate them for not loving me, hate it when they blame me for my illness when it's not my fault" said tsuna
"cielo.. …." Said hayato
"but even so I can't hate them to die, deep in my heart I want them for acknowledge me as their son, as their family. I know it's impossible and I don't hope much. you know ?, when dad tell me to become his son, I am happy someone acknowledge me, want to care for me and I know what it's mean to have family. Dad teach me how father teach his son with love and care, aunt aria give me a mother's love I longed, yuni give me light to move forward, and you teach me how to be friends" said tsuna
"/" hayato just blush hearing what tsuna said about him
"hayato, dad tell me in this world there's many people, many things can happen. Especially in mafia, you can experience something bad that even worse than died, many people do bad things to others in the mafia" said tsuna
"yes, to survive in the mafia, you must become strong, never give in to your enemies" said hayato
"…. Reborn teach us about vongola's ancestor right ? I admire them, especially the leader giotto. He give home to those who need, he protect the weak without hope anything in retutn. I want tobe like him, to make places to protect those who dear to me, to protect the weak, for them tobe strong to protect the others, to give a place that all can called home, I wonder if I can be like that ?" said tsuna
"for mafia, a place that can be called home was very few…. Giglio nero and vongola was the very least a neutral famiglia, it can't be called home for everyone, to create a place like that you might as well change the mafia world itself. But I know if it's you, you can do it. And I will follow you, because I sure you can change it, the mafia world" said hayato
"hayato…. Thank you" said tsuna as a tear slid down from his eyes
Hayato just smile, he sure tsuna can do it because tsuna give home to him. When no one give home to him, tsuna extend his hand and take him to a place called home.
A month later,
It's been a month hayato stay with tsuna, he already informed by aria his father decide to give everything to him and his chosen sky. Hayato know his father well, his father decide if he choose his future together with his sky then his father will support it with all of his power. His father often write letter to him, hayato reply to it from time to time. Hayato decide to give what he owns to tsuna's, despite his refusal hayato not backdown and still give it to tsuna. Today hayato's father write a letter to inform him his mother's friend shamal decide to take him as his student so hayato will stay with shamal once a month for one week to train. Tsuna accompany hayato there, and when he back he saw aria with someone, or rather with a child a little older than him or yuni.
"cielo, this is heir to gesso. His famiglia asked us to take care of him until he's ready to take his place as boss of gesso. He will be your study companion when you learn with reborn, yuni also will join you next year. Byakuran, this is ganma's son cielo tsunayoshi de alphelandra. You can call him tsuna or cielo, though only yuni call him nickname tsu" said aria as she chuckle
"hello, byakuran I am cielo tsunayoshi de alphelandra, call me cielo or tsuna" said tsuna
"hm~ so you are tsunayoshi-kun of this world?" said byakuran
"eh ?"
"nothing, just me talking alone to myself. Hmm~~ you're interesting, your flame's so pure" said byakuran
"you can see my flame?" said tsuna
"hehe~~ of course I can tsu-chan~~" said byakuran

"because you are cute, I like you!" said byakuran bimming while eating masmellow
"what's that ?" asked tsuna
"it's delicious food called masmellow~~" said byakuran

"byakuran, while here you can't eat masmellow too much. Your elders tell me to restain your sugar intake" said aria
"eh~~~" byakuran pouting and sulking, aria just chuckling and go inside while tsuna pat byakuran back
"wah~~ tsu-chan so nice~~~ I like you even more~~" said byakuran
While byakuran strange to tsuna but he didn't feel anything bad from him, "haha, I also like you byakuran, let be friend!" said tsuna
"okay! Let's be friend~~" said byakuran
