"So what do we do now?"

The three boys just stayed still, looking at each other for answers. That was, until Denki felt his phone buzz in his pocket. But who could be texting him right now? Kirishima already said he wouldn't be there, so what was the point? Still, this was a direct message. It must've been somewhat important. Sero and Bakugo's attention shifted towards the blonde's bright screen. 'Jiro' it said. Denki happily opened the message, feeling overwhelmed at the fact that she thought of him. Bakugo turned away from the group while rolling his eyes.

"What's the big deal? So, she texted you, nerd."

Angry from receiving no response, he quickly turned back to Kaminari who just stood there, silent.

"Hey! Answer me dammit!" Katsuki shouted.

"Oh." He chuckled nervously. "Looks like it's over."

Sero's eyes met with Denki's anxious gaze.

"No way."

He just stood there, staring down at the speckled tiles of the metro.

"Hey why don't we just go home? I-I don't know if I'm like, Y'know?"

For once, Bakugo showed a little sympathy. "I mean, if you want." He grumbled.

Sero looked up at Bakugo, surprised. And so they walked up the shiny metal stairs again. Past all of those old advertisements that no one even bothered to look at. Past strangers. Past the rest of the world.

Once they had left for the train that led them to their neighborhood, they had stopped and thought about the current situation. Damn. Why did Jiro have to say that right now?

"Maybe she's just feeling a little lonely." Sero said reassuringly.

At this, Kaminari frowned. Do they really think I'm the type to beg them not to leave?

"Do you really expect me to cry over this?"

Sero's attention quickly shifted to Denki.

Denki cleared his throat, as his voice was getting crackly. "This summer I'm gonna get over Jiro. Ok?"

The black haired boy smiled. "Yeah."

Suddenly Bakugo spoke up. "Alright, are we done with this sobbing nerd fest?!"
