"SONIC! THIS QUIT BEING EVEN SLIGHTLY AMUSING 5 HOURS AGO! STOP IT RIGHT NOW OR ELSE I WILL USE A FIRE FLOWER AND ROAST YOUR BUTT!" Mario yelled in fury towards Sonic who had a music player and was following him around playing Come and Get Your Love by Redbone most of the day; it had been going on like that for a while ever since the latest time that they had peered into the dimension where they were fictional video game characters.
"If you are sure then I can always change it." Sonic said smirking as the song changed to Everything is Awesome by the Lonely Island and Mario stormed off screaming. Sonic laughed so hard he lost his balance and had to balance his elbow against the wall which had a poster of Waluigi with a red X over it and a notice saying "DON'T LET HIM IN AND DON'T ACCEPT CALLS OR EMAILS FROM HIM!"
"Bothering Mario; are you?" asked a chiding voice and Sonic turned around to see Samus Aran with her arms folded looking down with a bemused look on her face. Despite Samus being known as no nonsense and serious; easily annoyed by the trolling antics of Palutena, she actually got along with Sonic pretty well to the surprise of many of the fellow Super Smash Bros.
"Trying to lighten up the mood; he had been looking upset since he lost that battle against Bowser and so when we saw that news then I thought it could be fun. Probably helps that something about pestering an obtuse guy with a moustache being really appealing to me." Sonic told her with Samus giggling behind her hand.
"A troublemaker like Palutena only you're a kid being all cool when you're a sweet cutie underneath." Samus told him as she went and touched his nose with Sonic giving an embarrassed glare to him. "Surprises even me how fond I am of you." Samus said with a smile.
"Firstly I am not a kid I am 15 years old thank you very much! Secondly you are probably is drawn to the fact that we can both morph into balls." Sonic pointed out as Samus giggled some more. "It reminds me; when you are in the Power Suit then how it does it work when you turn into a Morph Ball? I mean it's an ability for me but for you to be scrunched up in your suit as it transforms; shouldn't it break your bones and spine?" Sonic asked and Samus was about to answer when Palutena came up from behind Samus with a smirk.
"I can promise you that I know full well that there is nothing wrong with her body or form; she is as fit as she ever was." Palutena said earning a red faced glare from her girlfriend as Palutena gave a fake sigh. "Fine, I know where I am not wanted and you clearly prefer your little blue hedgehog friend than your literal Goddess girlfriend." Palutena said before storming off as Samus sighed as she shook her head with a smile.
"Samus Aran: bounty hunter of the galaxy who fell for the Goddess that feels like the opposite of you." Sonic said amused as Samus giggled some more. "Plus one of your best friends here is an awesome hedgehog with an attitude but let's not kid about our relationship here since I like you but you are not my overall best friend. Tails is pretty much my brother and nothing you can do could change that; I could give you the 2nd slot but Knuckles might want to fight you for that." Sonic told her as Samus continued to be amused.
"The last child like figure I was close to ended up dying..." Samus muttered to herself in thought with a saddened look thinking of the deceased Metroid infant that had imprinted on her as Sonic suddenly looked concerned as he went to hug her leg trying to cheer her up. Samus smiled as she scooped up Sonic in her arms and kissed his forehead as he smiled up at her.
"Any creature would be lucky to have you as a mum Samus." Sonic told her as Samus thought about Sonic admitting that he never really had any parental figures in his life.
"Consider yourself lucky then." Samus told him and Sonic accepted the implied message, Palutena was smiling as she was looking from a corner.
"Lady Palutena; what are you looking at?" Pit asked walking up to the behind of her.
"My girlfriend and my future stepson." Palutena replied with a smile as Pit was bewildered.
"I am done with this; at least I may never hear anymore of this here..." Mario muttered entering through the recreational room only to notice Bowser on a rhythm music game playing the song POD by Tenacious D as Donkey Kong was having help putting on an extra long Superbad shirt.
"I'm gonna rise up, I'm gonna kick a little butt..." Luigi said rehearsing a line as Mario only had one thing to say:
"Mamma mia..."
I had this idea for a while and think of this as a sequel to Goddess' Knight in Shining Armor. I am open to ideas but only to PMs please and thanks. Plus I don't think I will do anymore 4th wall jokes but the ones here I was unable to resist.
