Chapter 2: Two Worlds Collide! Welcome to Academy City, Articho!

June 10, 2023

School District 7

Heaven Canceller's Hospital

A pair of eyelids slowly open up, struggling. Articho finally opens his eyes slowly and sits up straight in what appears to be a bed he's laying on, most notably he's in a hospital gown. He looks to his right and sees his torn gi, wrist bands, and boots along with the coat all folded up on a small table. He winced in pain as he grips his head, feeling the head trauma he gained earlier.

"Am I in a bed? Does hell even have beds? You'd think they have beds made of spikes. Or spiders." He wonders. "Or spiky spiders." His eyes widen all of a sudden."Spikers!"

His thoughts are interrupted when the sound of a door to his hospital room slides open. A frog-face doctor walks in to check up on the patient before him.

"It's good to see you awake, young man." Heaven Canceller says.

"How long was I out?" The hybrid asked.

"For about 2 hours. And in record time too."

"Seriously?" Articho further asks. "I thought it be longer than that."

"You're lucky to be alive when you were found unconscious and brought here. You were bleeding out from different places and we tried doing some surgery to close up the wounds, but none of our advanced medical tools could pierce your skin and remarkably, the wound managed to heal itself up within a few minutes. Tell me, how was your own body able to do that?"

Articho remains silent as he doesn't trust the doctor since he doesn't know him at all.

"I understand." The doctor continues. "If your silence's the reason of not wanting to tell me, then I'll respect your decision and drop it. However, there is something you should know. A girl was the one who found you injured and brought you here, saved your life in fact. She's also the sister of one of my patients here in this hospital, so she's hoping to talk to you for a bit before I let you rest here until you're ready to be released."

"A girl? She saved me?"Just then, the door slides open and the girl that saved the hybrid Saiyan walks in.

"Thank you for letting me speak to him, doctor." A blue haired girl bows in respect.

"Of course, miss." He smiles. "I'll leave you two alone." Heaven Canceller walks out of the room and shuts the door behind him.

"Hello there. How are you feeling?" She smiles.

"I'm fine. Thanks for asking me, ma'am." The young Time Patroller was at a loss of words by how soothing her voice is. Because the girl in front of him was described as an elegant woman with pale skin, a appealing body to die for, and purple-yellow eyes. She has light blue hair that is longer on the left side of her face and bangs reaching her eyebrows. Above her bangs, she wears a black headband and a hairpin to her left. She's very pretty for a 16 year old high schooler. And her perfectly sized bosom, underneath her school's summer sailor uniform... well... Let's just say that they are a bit on the big side, but not going overboard. The descendant of Son Goku blushes lightly and looks away for a bit. "She could give Bulma a run for her money. Not to mention this girl's boobs are perfect and not ridiculously big and saggy as hers."

"Something wrong?" She curiously tilts her head.

"No, I'm fine." He says, snapping out of his thoughts. "T-Thanks, I guess."

"What's your name?" The girl kindly asks.

"Articho." He answers.

"Wait. Your name doesn't happen to be a pun for the vegetable artichoke, would it?" She raises an eyebrow, confused.

"What?" He blankly stares.

The young lady begins to blush, embarrassed about what she said.

"No, no, no! I was just joking a bit." She waves her hand casually. "My name's Sicily Kamijou. It's nice to meet you, Articho."

"That's a beautiful name you have." He compliments, causing the girl to blush.

"Um...thanks." She says, looking away.

There was a moment of silence as this became awkward between the two. Not a good way to start off a conversation.

"So...you found me, huh?"

"Yeah... I did." Sicily admits. "You see, the funny thing is that I found you by a river here in School District 7. And the clothes you were wearing, they looked all torn up. Were you in some kind of gang fight?"

"Uhhhh." He sweatdrops. "Something like that. It's complicated."

"Say no more! I get it." She stops him from saying anything else. "It's not really my business, anyway. Well, I thought that you were going to die from drowning. So I had to take you to the hospital."

"Hmph." Articho smirks to himself. "The fact is that each time I'm nearly dead, I come back more powerful than before."

"Did you say something?"

"It's nothing." He shakes his head chuckling.

Articho gets out of bed and goes over to his torn clothes.

"Hmm. This won't do." He then points his fingers at his torn gi and fires a beam that instantly repairs them without having the need to sew it back up with stitches or patches. "Perfect."

The high schooler just stared at him, after what he did to his ruined clothes.

"Is he a Esper? I never heard or seen anyone with an ability like that, it's almost impossible. The only possibility I know of is my brother and his girlfriend." Sicily told herself. "Perhaps I can ask him later."

He smirks, stripping in front of the girl. The blue hair girl turned completely red, seeing his naked body. Her eyes roam around his muscles, going down to one particular area. She covers her eye, before turning around.

"Whoa! He's huge!" She says in her head. "And he is showing me everything."

"I'm done." Articho announced, and he is now wearing his fully restored gi.

Sicily turns back around, before relaxing. Her heart started beating at a fast rate, as she continues looking at the area that continues to pop in her head.

"So huge. It must've been 12 inches." The young lady says, thinking about adult situations at the moment. "It's almost as big as my brother's, when I accidentally walked into both him and Shokuhou procreating last year."

The hybrid Saiyan then throws on his coat to conceal his fighting gi and picks up a small kit containing his Capsules before putting them away in his pocket, and starts walking towards the door outside his hospital room.

Just then, a loud grumbling sound is heard. It was coming from Articho's stomach. The hybris Saiyan blushes in embarrassment.

"Heh, heh." He sheepishly chuckles. "Sorry. I guess I'm hungry for some lunch."

"Oh." She grins. "I know a place that's good. Wanna come since your wounds are healed?"

"She sure is quick to make friends with me." He comments to himself. "Wait, who am I kidding? I was so like that when I befriended Trunks."

He smiles turning around, towards his savior.

"Sure. I don't mind really." He answers. "Let's get myself released from here and go. I'm really starving."

Later at Joseph's...

"U-Um, here's your order sir!" A waitress in her housemaid attire stutters as she served him more food.

"Thanks! This should be my last meal for awhile." He says as piles of empty plates are being carried away into the kitchen.

As Articho shoes down on his last servings, Yukari was in disbelief as her eyes popped up and jaw dropped.

"H-How can one guy eat this much food?!" She questions herself after finishing her lunch. "That's impossible for the human body to digest it all! He's eating 20 servings like it's nothing."

After swallowing the last bits of his lunch down, Articho wipes off his messy mouth with a napkin and exhales heavily.

"Phew! That hit the spot." He comments before looking at his new friend. "You alright, Yukari? You looked like you've seen a ghost or something."

"Huh?" She snaps out of it. "Oh, it's nothing! It's just... (blushes) are you able to afford this stuff?"

"Oops, I totally forgot I don't have any money."

"That's all right. I have plenty of money from different part-time jobs over the past few years. So I can help you with our meal. And I'm thinking that you have a high metabolism than most?"

"Yep!"

"That explains a lot." She shrugs. "But anyway, what's your story? I saw that you can repair clothes, and you have that small box with you. Are a Esper?"

"Esper? What's that?" He asks, blinking in confusion.

"You don't know what a Esper is?" The blue haired girl asked, shocked that he doesn't know that.

"I don't even know where here is, to be honest." He sheepishly admits. "Do you mind telling me where I am?"

"S-Sure. I can tell you where you are. You're in Academy City. A independent city that was once the industrial district of Tokyo, and is 1/3 of its side." Yukari answers his question, still embarrassed of what she saw in the hospital not too long ago.

"Espers? Academy City? I never even heard of these places on Earth. Unless..." He started thinking in his head.

The Time Patroller starts to remember what happened after the explosion.

"Ah, crap baskets." He sighed.

"Is something wrong?" She asked.

"Look, I gotta get going. Thanks for the food though." He told her, getting up from his set and leaving the restaurant, fast.

"Huh?" She was a standing there when he left. Getting up quickly as well, she places some money on the table and went up to follow him. "W-Wait!"

Unfortunately, by the time she got outside he was already gone.

"I wanted to know if we were going to see each other again." Sicily says, feeling disappointed. "Oh man..."

Suddenly, she got a call on her phone. Picking it up, she noticed that someone familiar with calling her. The caller ID said Shokuhou, Misaki.

"Hello?" The high schooler answers.

"Oh hello, dear sister-in-law." A beautiful feminine voice spoke on the phone. "Did you have a relaxing lunch?"

"Yeah, I-wait. Were you spying on me?!" She yells, getting offended.

"Just a lucky guess." The girl told her, assumingly denying the fact.

"Don't do it again. And another thing, I'm not your sister-in-law. At least not yet."

"Oh, you." The girl says, giggling. "You're so cute when you are upset."

"So anyway, why are you calling me?"

"Well, me and the girls are going on a date with Touma and we want to know if you can watch over Alice while we're gone?"

"Uh, sure?" The blue haired lady answers. "Of course I can watch over my niece. Just try not to make any more babies."

"Oh, no promises. But I can hold off until we are married." Misaki answers the sister of her boyfriend.

Sicily sighs in relief.

"That's good to hear. I'll see you at dinner."

"Alright. I'll tell the other girls you said hi." Shokuhou announced, before hanging up.

"Jeez. Such a control freak sometimes." The teenager sighed. "Especially when those girls have sex with my brother."

Sicily looks up in the sky, thinking about Articho.

"Articho." She mutters to herself. "Just who is he?"

Meanwhile...

Articho is walking down the city streets looking around as people go about their daily lives as he passes by them.

"Well, for starters, the buildings here aren't exactly using Capsule Corp technology." He says in his thoughts. "This place is very advance, but not as advanced back at home."

Then the hybrid Saiyan started thinking about Sicily.

"Sicily..." He says to himself. "She was very beautiful."

Just then, he senses a familiar ki signature.

"Black..." He mutters, clenching his fist. "So he survived that attack, too?"

He uses Instant Transmission to teleport directly to the false Saiyans location. Seconds later, he instantly appears in the city outskirts.

"Hello, mortal." Black smirks. "It's been awhile."

The young warrior glares at the villain. Then he goes into a fighting stance.

"So you even survived my Final Explosion with the power of Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken times twenty?" He questions. "Just how indestructible is that body you stole from Goku?"

"This body may not be like Zamasu's immortal one, but it does have its perks." The fallen Kai admits. "After all, it's the perfect war machine. Still, I wasn't kidding about congratulating you for killing my immortal counterpart. I never thought you'd learn the technique of a God of Destruction, even if it's not suited for mortals such as yourself. To be honest, I was planning to eliminate him once our plan was complete. He was always too overconfident with immortality and was slowing me down. Looks like you saved me the trouble of doing it myself, so I should thank you."

"What did you say?!" Articho questions. "You're even willing to kill yourself who shares your ideals and sense of justice?! Why?!"

"Zamasu was planning to betray me from the start of our alliance." He explains. "I suspected as much when he wished for immortality. I guess he didn't like it that I would stoop so low enough to steal Goku's body, so he wanted to kill me as a way to end our Zero Mortals Plan. How poetic."

"So you're trying continue your plan? Well I'm going to stop you before you even start again."

"Oh my naive Saiyan. I've already started."

This confused Articho, after hearing those words from the fallen Kai.

"What are you talking about? I just got here in this universe a few hours ago." Articho pointed out.

"Oh me? I've been on this planet for thousands of years. Spreading my seed, creating many hybrid Saiyans throughout time." The fallen Kai answers.

"You were using your Time Ring to travel back in time to create a Saiyan race here on this Earth? I thought you wanted to eliminate all mortals. Those were your exact words, right?"

"True they were, but I'm looking for a successor. I realized something during my time I was fused with Zamasu." He explains. "If I were to fulfill my dream and create a utopia, what was I supposed to do next after my work was complete? Sure I've taken Goku's body and mastered it, but I would've most likely be bored of the quietness I wanted originally."

"So you decide to have children? That would be as strong as you?"

"I wanted to become stronger myself, but without any Dragon Balls, I only have a few more decades before this body's youthful state is finished. So having a a successor would be beneficial for me. I regret not wishing for eternal youth. That would've been much more useful."

"So have you found your successor yet?" The Time Patroller questions.

"I believe you should find out on your own. But for now, let's continue our match." Black says, as the two fighter prepare to finish what they started.

Articho prepares to fight against his greatest adversary. What will happen next, and will he succeed? And what did the false Kai mean by he already started his plan?
