Chapter 3: Articho vs Black! First meeting of the Miracle Diva?!
Outskirts of Academy City
Silence filled the air as the two fighters got into a fighting stance, staring down at each other. While Black wears a smug expression on his face. Articho, however, has anger and vengeance on his.
"This is it." Articho says as Black chuckles. "No more."
He then slowly builds up his ki as his muscles bulked slightly, which caused the false Saiyan to widen his eyes in disbelief.
"Let's end this thing right here!" The teen shouts, instantly turning into the first Super Saiyan form. "RIGHT NOW!"
Articho launches toward Black who wasn't fast enough to dodge and the hybrid Saiyan right hooks him in the face. The false Saiyan got sent soaringupwards and the Time Patroller hops upward, grabbing him before slamming his back down onto his knee, giving the bastard a huge amount of pain. He then cups his hands together and slams his fists down onto Black who crashes into the ground, leaving behind a body shaped hole.
The Time Patroller looks down at the hole from midair, giving a stoic expression as he knows it's not over yet.
The ground then shakes as light brightens from the hole and it explodes. Black then emerges from the smoke he created and had a rather pissed off expression. His mouth has a small trail of blood on him before wiping it off.
"That was a cheap move you pulled, Saiyan." Black growls. "You're going to pay every drop of blood I give you."
His black aura appears around his body as he decides to go straight into Rosé. However, something's wrong.
"What the..." He questions himself in disbelief. "Impossible. I have enough energy to transform but for some reason I can't. What is this trickery?"
"Is something wrong, or do I need to make another move on you again?" Articho asks, unfazed.
"I don't understand." Black says to himself, ignoring his enemy. "How did this happen? There's no way I'd have lost my divine form. Unless...wait, of course. It all makes sense now."
Flashback...
Articho yells as his Final Explosion engulfs the entire mountainside that tore open another dimension in a blinding light, taking Black down with him.
Flashback Ends...
"That moment when he went nova on me..." The fallen Kai thought. "It was the moment that tearing the fabric of reality is the cause for losing my true potential that I unlocked with this body."
"I'm not going to repeat myself, Black." Articho interrupts his foe's thoughts. "Are you, or are you not going to kick my ass like you want to so badly? If not, then that means I'm putting you down before you even get a fighting chance."
"This is your fault." Black answers, looking up at him with a deathly glare. "You're the reason I cannot use Rosé."
"What do you mean you can't use Rosé?" The hybrid Saiyan was confused, hearing that. "I thought you mastered that body."
"I thought I did too, mortal." He continues. "Until you tore open the fabric of reality and somehow made me lose most of my power."
"Bullshit. There's no way breaking reality results in taking away most of your power." Articho stated, confused as ever.
"Hmph. I find that hard to believe as well. You and I aren't so different after all."
"I'm nothing like you. I don't commit treason on his own kind and then declare war on the rest of the multiverse." The teen scoffs before smirking. "However, if what you say is true, then that should make things even easier. Besides, my job is to turn you in to the Grand Minister and the Omni-Kings, so that you stand trial and be punished for your crimes. And the best part, Zamasu? I get front row seats to see whatever they do with you. There's no room for traitors and evil sons of bitches in my world."
"Why you!" Black clenches his fists in anger. "You dare to mock a god?!"
"I can and I will." Articho chuckles. "Take your best shot. I don't need to surpass you in strength just to prove I'm superior."
The fallen Kai grins evilly, cracking his knuckles.
"Bring it on!"
Timeskip...
A beautiful teenager with matching pink hair and eyes walks out of the music store, with a small bag in her hand.
"Hopefully the songs on the CDs I purchased will give me some inspiration for my songs." The girl says, with a slight Italian accent, as she walks down the street.
Suddenly, she felt a strong wind blowing her.
"Hmm?" She looks up, curious. "I didn't know there was going to be a storm today."
Then the wind blew even harder. It was blowing so hard that she had to hang on to her hat, so it wouldn't fall off.
"Whoa! I better head back inside before it gets worse." The pink haired girl says, turning around to head back in the store.
But as she was about to grab the door handle, she is blow away by the wind, sending her flying across the city skyline.
"Ahhhhhhhh!" She shrieks in fright. "What is happening?!"
She then crashed onto a rooftop of a skyscraper and was rolling towards the edge. Eventually, she grabbed hold of a railing, hanging above the streets below.
"That was too close." The girl says, hanging on for dear life. "But what kind of storm is this?"
Then shehears the sound ofthunder in the distance.Thisspooked her that she accidentally released one hand off the railing. She tried to use her legs to stay still with one hand left, but it was starting to fail.
"O-Oh no!" She panics. "I'm slipping!"
Meanwhile...
Articho started to get exhausted, as he continued to fight against the fallen Kai. Black then forms a small aura around his right hand and prepares to strike him down with the blade.
"This will be a swift end."
"I'm not done yet." Articho said, tired. "There's one more thing I need to try out."
"And what's that? You've clearly used up all of your energy. I thought you said you can take me on in my base form as a Super Saiyan."
The Time Patroller grins.
"What's your opinion on cookies?" He asks him.
"Huh?" Black blinks in confusion. "That's what you want to test out? Asking me about sweets before I end your life?"
"You could say that."
"They're sometimes too sugary but they're still enjoyable. Especially the chocolate chips. Did you know that dark chocolate is good for your health, minus caffeine?"
"Yeah, so?" He shrugs.
"Well, it doesn't matter anymore. Because now it's time for you to die. Any last words, Saiyan?" Black asks.
"Yeah. Don't watch the hands. Watch the mouth." Articho smirks before opening his mouth, instantly firing a purple beam that envelops the false Saiyan as his body starts changing.
"What in the-What have you done to me?!"
But it was too late as the change was complete. The object then falls out of the sky, landing with a thud on the grass. Black has literally turned into a human-size cookie. The hybrid Saiyan begins to chuckle, then begins to laugh crazily.
"I did it! I finally did it! Take that, bastard!" He laughs. "I was originally going to Hakai you out of existence. But then again, Goku's stolen body would've withstand the agonizing pain from it. Plus, turning you into a cookie for the time being till we return to Universe 7 is a fate worse than death."
Then, an idea formed in his head.
"Ya know what? Maybe I should just eat you now while you're in that state." He grins. "I wonder what you taste like."
But then, he stops himself, recalling a similar outcome of attempting to eat a powerful opponent in form of sweets.
"Oh shit. Now that I think about it, I might end up getting beaten the shit out by an edible, inanimate object."
The angry looking face of Black's cookie made Articho feel a bit nervous.
"On second thought, eating your opponent is a no go."
Taking out his Capsule kit from one of his coat's pockets, he selects a Capsule, clicks the top and throws it to the ground. It explodes into a puff of cloud before revealing to be a small chest containing a few talismans and a teapot.
Back with the girl in distress...
She continues to struggle to hang on to the railing.
"Oh man." The girl says, getting scared out of her life. Her fingers then begin to lose their grip on it.
"Please, help!" The young girl tries her best to climb back up, a continues to fail.
She loses her footing and finally let go, falling to her death, screaming.
"Nooooooo!" The girl gasps as she is already too close to the street level.
She closes her eyes, waiting for the final moments of her life. But it never happened, because she landed on something soft.
The young teenager slowly opens her eyes.
"That was too close." A male voice says, relieved.
She looks up and gasps to see who her savior is.
"If it weren't for me, you would've been human paste. Very nasty."
The girl continues gazing at him.
"But still, are you alright?" He asks.
She snaps out of her trance, a bit flustered.
"Y-Yes. Thank you so much."
"No problem." He shrugs.
"It's you..." She blushes, confusing him.
"Uh, yeah. It's me. Articho's my name. And you are?"
"My name is Arisa Meigo. Thank you for saving me." Arisa told him, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
The boy's cheeks flushed.
"Like I said, it's no problem." He says. "But I think I should stop holding you like this. It's getting kind of awkward."
"Hmm?" She questions, looking down. It was that moment she realized that he was carrying her like what groom does to a bride.
"Oh!" She says, sheepishly. Getting embarrassed from this. "You're right. Can you please put me down?"
He nods and gently sets her down as her feet touch the sidewalk.
"Here you go." The hybrid Saiyan told her. "Glad I saved you. And from the sound of it you're very familiar with me."
"In a way. I believe I've seen you in my dreams." The young girl answers.
"Huh?" He questions, confused. "I don't... I don't understand. I'm in your dreams?"
"I can't explain it myself." She shakes her head. "I've had these dreams for a while. Three years ago, in fact."
"These dreams...could they be lost memories?" Articho wonders in his thoughts. "As for her ki, there's something off about it. It's almost identical to Black's, except that it's so...pure. And there's more. I can't explain it, but...for some reason, it feels familiar somehow."
"I really appreciate you saving me from falling to my death. I owe you my life." Arisa says, bowing.
"You don't owe me anything. But if you don't mind me asking, just what were you doing up there in the first place?"
"I didn't mean to be up there. A large storm blew me away over there." The pink hair girl answers.
Articho blinks before laughing.
"That's ridiculous. We're inland. There's no way a storm could sweep you off your feet like that."
"But it happened! There was strong winds and thunder!" She argues in disbelief. "Why are you being so ignorant?!"
"Eh?!" The boy takes a step back, caught off guard by her little outburst.
"You're a complete idiot!" The girl continues, before she gasped covering her mouth. "Oh my... What did I say?!"
"Huh?"
"What is wrong with me?" Arisa exclaimed, holding the sides of her head.
"Um, are you okay? You just yelled at me out of nowhere." He asked, moving closer to her.
"I'm not sure, honestly."
"Oh man." The Time Patroller nervously sweatdrops. "This girl reminds me of the Supreme Kai of Time. In fact, she looks like a human version of her but pretty looking."
Arisa notices that he was staring at her for quite a while now. Passersby looked at them a started whispering among themselves, saying things like how the two of them are a cute couple. Making the two of them embarrassed.
And behind the small crowd is a certain short haired girl in a prestigious school uniform, who stopped walking by and notices a commotion going on.
"Hmm? I wonder what's going on?" The girl says, as she started moving towards them. "Huh?"
The teenager decided to head over there. She started to make her way through the crown.
"Excuse me. Sorry. I got to get through."
As soon as she does she sees two individuals. One of them is someone she doesn't recognize, but seeing him causes her heart to beat incredibly abnormally.
"Another guy with spiky hair?" She wonders as her eye twitches in annoyance. "One just isn't enough, huh?"
Then she sees someone will pink hair, who was blushing near the spiky hair boy.
"Is she her boyfriend?" The chestnut haired girl questions, curiously, and for some reason a hint of jealousy. Then she looks down and gasps, seeing the girls chest.
"Her boobs! They're so much bigger than mine!" She says to herself, collapsing on the floor in defeat. "And she appears to be younger than me."
"Um, why are you blushing like that?" She heard someone say. It came from the boy. But he wasn't talking to the envious girl on her knees.
"He wasn't even talking to me?" The girl looks up to see he's still talking to the pink haired girl. "How dare he?!"
"I'm sorry for lashing out at you." The girl says, bowing.
"It's not your fault, really." He scratches the back of his head. "I should have been more considerate."
The girl giggles in response.
"You're very nice. You remind me of someone familiar to me." Arisa admits.
"Really?" He asks in surprise. "Like who?"
"I'm not sure. My mind says I don't know you, but my heart's telling me otherwise."
"Oh come on. Try harder than just I don't know." The Time Patroller questions. "Who do I remind you of?"
"Let me think." The girl says, thinking for a moment. "You remind me of a strong warrior that helps out anyone he can."
"Strong warrior?" He tilts his head curiously. "Well, I am pretty strong."
"But I guess it was just a coincidence." The girl concluded, as she kissed his cheek again "Again thank you for saving me."
"You still haven't told me who this person is." Articho pointed out, as the girl begins walking away.
The girl then stops walking and turns around to face him.
"Do you have a place to stay? It doesn't look like you have money on you."
"How you guessed?" He chuckles to himself, scratching the back of his head.
"You don't look like the type to be a rich person." She answers. "I have a good eye."
"It would be very appreciated if Icanfind a place to stay." The hybrid Saiyan added. "Wait. I do have one. My only issue is that I'm kind of jobless at the moment."
"Follow me. I know the perfect place that you can stay."
Arisa's Penthouse...
"Nice home. How were you able to afford a place like this?" He asked her, as the pink haired girl is busy taking a shower.
"I may not look like much, but I'm a famous local singer." Arisa explains as she scrubs her hair with shampoo. "I don't really go to school, so I'm mostly self taught."
"I guess that makes sense. So you got this Penthouse from all the money being a singer?"
"Most of it was also a gift from the facility I grew up in this city." She added, washing all of the shampoo out of her hair. "Where are you from?"
"I'm...not from around here." He answers.
"Oh, I'm sorry." She told him.
"It's alright. I'll find my way eventually. So anyway, where are you from?"
"I don't know. I was orphaned since I was a baby." She told him. "Most people who don't know me well assumed that I might be from Italy. Because of my accent."
"You're better off without an accent, then." He shrugs. "You can speak English perfectly without the accent, right?"
"Like this?" The local singer says in perfect English.
"There you go." He smiles. "Now people might take you seriously."
Soon, the shower water turned off as Arisa steps out of the bathroom. But clearly she forgot something, because she was walking out completely naked with a towel wrapped around her hair.
"Thank you for today Articho. I'm glad for what you did."
Articho's face turns beet red, looking away.
"Hmm? What's wrong?" Arisa exclaimed, curiously.
"Well, you're... Naked." The Half Saiyan pointed out.
The girl looks down and gasps in embarrassment, blushing profoundly
"Ehhhhh..." She says, trying to cover herself, but failing.
"How can you so easily forget to wrap a towel around your body?!"
"I-I..." She tries to speak, but somehow trips. The girl started to slip forward, crashing into the hybridSaiyan. Making the two of them fall to the floor. And for some twist of fate, their lips met. Their eyes widen and they quickly separate. To only make things worse, the naked Arisa is on top of him. And oddly, a tent formed underneath Articho's fighting gi, touching the girl's hairless vagina.
"I can explain everything..."Articho tries to say, but the girl silences him with another sudden liplock.
She then separates her lips from his and smiles at him.
"How would you like a job as my bodyguard?" She asks. "I will pay you with a lot of money."
"You're not going to use me as a sex toy, right? Because I don't want to be taken advantage of against my will." He nervously asks suspiciously.
"Quick question, what is sex?" The naked Arisa asks, tilting her head in confusion as the towel around her hair undid itself, letting her long pink hair down.
The boy perks up in disbelief, blushing.
"Huh?" Articho tries to wrap his head from what she said to him. "What?"
A beautiful singer has asked the Half Saiyan a job to be her bodyguard. Will he take the job?! Just who is Arisa?!
Next time on Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Articho's New Mission!
"Wait a sec! I didn't even get to ask Black about the Saiyans he created!" Articho exclaims in his thoughts.
To be continued...
