Aria vs Celestiah

On top of an old stone-castle on an island out in the ocean, Aria Montgomery is about to duel Celestiah Francorde, her rival.

"I go first. For my opening-move I summon Celtic Warrior Girl in attack mode. And I also play one card face down." says Aria.

"Alright. Here we go. I play Judgewoman in defense mode. Then I play the spell card Duo-Arrival. Now I can summon a second monster this turn. I summon Slutty Clown Zengie and I place her in attack mode." says Celestiah.

"Hmm...Celtic Warrior Girl, attack." says Aria.

Celtic Warrior Girl destroys Slutty Clown Zengie.

"My clown won't be gone for long. I play the spell card Dark Restitution. With this card I can bring back a monster from the Graveyard. Welcome back, my clown. And I power her up with this...Astral Energy Capsule!" says Celestiah.

"Damn..." says Aria.

"Slutty Clown Zengie, attack with Dark Moon Magic!" says Celestiah.

Slutty Clown Zengie destroys Celtic Warrior Girl.

"I set a monster in defense. And I also play Gemini Retreat, which allow me to return 2 cards from my hand to my deck, re-shuffle and draw 2 new cards." says Aria.

"Okay. Clown, attack!" says Celestiah.

"Ain't goin' to work. My monster is Big Shield Gardna." says Aria.

"No!" says Celestiah.

"My turn now. I call forth my Gaia, The Fierce Knight." says Aria.

Gaia, The Fierce Knight destroys Slutty Clown Zengie.

"Your damn clown's been killed." says Aria.

"I summon Swordstalker!" says Celestiah.

"I see..." says Aria.

"The Swordstalker get a power-boost from a fallen friend. In this case, my clown, making him stronger." says Celestiah.

Swordstalker tries to attack Gaia, The Fierce Knight.

"Your thing ain't gonna work 'cause I play my face down...the trap card Mystic Restitution. This rare card stop your monster and removes it from the game for the rest of the duel." says Aria.

"Fuck!" says Celestiah in anger.

"I don't think any such activity will happen. I play Curse of Dragon and I fuse him with Gaia, creating Gaia, the Dragon Champion. Attack." says Aria.

Gaia, the Dragon Champion destroys Swordstalker.

"I summon Dark Samurai Kuukah." says Celestiah.

"Don't ya expect me to fall for that dang tactic. I'm aware of your monster's ability." says Aria.

"Oh..." says Celestiah.

"I place one card face down." says Aria.

"First I summon Gurgantio in attack mode...then I place a card face down too." says Celestiah.

"Not bad. Gaia, the Dragon Champion. Attack Gurgantio." says Aria.

Gaia, the Dragon Champion destroys Gurgantio.

"Here we go...now I summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" says Celestiah.

"Damn..." says Aria.

"White Lightning!" screams Celestiah.

Blue-Eyes White Dragon destroys Gaia, the Dragon Champion.

"I play Dark Magician in attack mode, as well as another face down card." says Aria.

"Blue-Eyes White Dragon, White Lightning!" screams Celestiah.

"No. I activate the trap card Reflect Crystal Wall. It bounces your attack back on your monsters. Sure, the dragon's safe, but the samurai isn't as lucky. He goes down." says Aria.

"Fuck." says Celestiah.

"My turn. I place a card face down." says Aria.

"Blue-Eyes White Dragon, White Lightning!" screams Celestiah.

"You set off a trap...Axudium! Your attack does zero damage." says Aria.

"Interesting." says Celestiah.

"Dark Magician, attack Judgewoman, Dark Magic Attack!" says Aria.

Dark Magician destroys Judgewoman.

"I hereby call out...a second Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" says Celestiah.

"I understand." says Aria.

"Do you, girl...?" says Celestiah with an evil smile.

"Yeah." says Aria.

"Okay." says Celestiah.

"Indeed." says Aria.

"Blue-Eyes White Dragon, White Lightning!" screams Celestiah.

Blue-Eyes White Dragon destroys Big Shield Gardna.

"Okay. I draw. Nice. I got a good card, which I place face down for now." says Aria.

"Blue-Eyes White Dragon, White Lightning!" screams Celestiah.

"That won't work. I activate my trap...Secret Restitution. If I throw one trap or spell from my hand to the Graveyard your attack will be blocked." says Aria.

"Fucking damn!" says Celestiah in anger.

"Well..." says Aria as she play a card face down.

"Now it's my turn again. I draw...and my card is...the third Blue-Eyes White Dragon, which I place in attack mode." says Celestiah.

"Attack me, if ya dare." says Aria.

"I'll do nothing of the sort. One of your face downs is most likely a trap." says Celestiah.

"Ya think so?" says Aria.

"Yeah." says Celestiah.

"I summon Mystical Elf in attack mode." says Aria.

"Why?" says Celestiah.

"That ya'll find out soon." says Aria.

"My 3 dragons, attack...White Lightning!" says Celestiah.

"No! The trap card Ancholusius. This card block the attacks from any dragon." says Aria.

"Fuck." says Celestiah.

"My move for this turn will simply be to put a couple cards face down on the field." says Aria.

"You'll lose this duel, Aria. I fuse my 3 mighty dragons together, creating the magnificent...Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!" says Celestiah.

"Oh, no...!" says Aria.

"Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Ultimate Silver Fire!" says Celestiah.

"Ya set off my trap...Wizard's Shield. With this card I can stop your dragon's attack for one turn." says Aria.

"Exactly what good's a one turn save going to do you?" says Celestiah.

"Let me show you. I combine Dark Magician with my Sneak Assault spell card and we'll throw in the spell named Black Circle of Magic as well. This makes Dark Magician strong enough to defeat ultimate dragon in a single attack." says Aria.

"Damn!" says Celestiah in anger.

Dark Magician destroys Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

"I win." says Aria.

"No! Next time I won't lose." says Celestiah.

"Okay then, bitch." says Aria.

"Trust me, you just had luck." says Celestiah.

"I did not." says Aria.

"Really?" says Celestiah.

"Yes. I duel with honor." says Aria.

Celestiah walk away.

"I guess she won't ever understand the Heart of the cards." says Aria.

Aria is truly an honorable Duel Monsters player.

She never cheat and she always follow the rules.

"Okay..." says Aria.

Aria walk to where she can get on a boat from the island.

"Take me off this old god forsaken shit of an island, please." says Aria.

"I understand." says the fat woman who drive the boat.

"Good." says Aria as she take her seat.

The motor of the boat makes loud sounds as the boat leave the island.

Aria smile.

She's happy to be on the way back to the mainland.

Of course she love playing Duel Monsters, which is why she was at the island to begin with, but she often get homesick when away from home.

"How did things go for you?" says the boat-woman.

"Very good. I won." says Aria.

"Nice." says the boat-woman.

"Yeah." says Aria.

Aria get the Millennium Puzzle from her bag and hang the Millennium Puzzle back around her neck.

She finally feel that she can wear and use it again.

"Thanks, Aria." says the spirit within the Millennium Puzzle.

"You're welcome." whisper Aria.

Today is the first time Aria wear the Millennium Puzzle after she lost to Celestiah during their second duel, the duel where the spirit within the Millennium Puzzle almost killed Celestiah against Aria's wish.

"I hope you can forgive me." says the spirit.

"No worry. I forgive ya." thinks Aria.

The spirit sit next to Aria, but only Aria can see and hear her.

The spirit looks like an adult more hardcore badass version of Aria.

"I'm glad you feel that way, girl." says the spirit.

"Okay. Ya did what ya felt was the right thing." thinks Aria.

"Yes. I know you didn't want to see even an enemy dead, but I believed we could win and save your grandma." says the spirit.

"Wonderful that ya care. Though I respect everyone, including my opponents. I can't stand havin' someone die because of what I do." thinks Aria.

"I understand. I promise to never do what I did again." says the spirit.

"Thank ya, my friend." thinks Aria with a cute smile.

"You are welcome, girl." says the spirit.

"Did ya see me win?" thinks Aria.

"Sure did, Aria. I'm proud of you. You truly have the soul of a Queen." says the spirit.

When she get home, Aria sees her grandma waiting for her.

"Hello, Aria. Thanks for saving me." says Evelyn Montgomery, Aria's sweet wise old grandmother, who is also an expert at Duel Monsters.

"Hi, grandma." says Aria with a cute smile.

"I'm glad you won so my sould could return to my body." says Evelyn.

"Me too. It wasn't easy." says Aria.

Aria is about to give her deck back to Evelyn, the true owner of the deck.

"Keep it. That deck's yours now. I'll start fresh with a new deck of my own. I think I know exactly what type of deck i want this time." says Evelyn.

Evelyn think about a deck themed around a specific card, the card known as Ancient Dragon, a card that is very complex to use and also very rare.

Only 14 copies are known to have ever been made.

Evelyn has one and her best friend Kathryn McLeod has another.

Both ladies have tried to find all the cards needed to play Ancient Dragon properly.

It requires some specific cards.

Without those, Ancient Dragon cannot be played.

"Okay. Cool." says Aria.

Evelyn and Aria walk into the card-store.

"I'm gonna take a nap." says Aria, tired from what's happend over the past week.

Aria walk up to her room.

Evelyn open the box in which she keep her Ancient Dragon card and those of the cards reuired to summon it that she has been able to get.

She only need 2 cards in order to have all the ones that makes ir possible for her to play an Ancient Dragon deck.

The Ancient Dragon's only been summoedn one single time ever in modern days and that was by Megara Pegasus.

Evelyn smile.

Her best frind Kathryn is one card behind, needing 3 cards.

The 2 cards Evelyn need are Ancient Palace and Book of the Dragon.

Kathryn need Ancient Palace, Spell of the Lost Beast and Zaluterion.

Ancient Palace, Book of the Dragon, Draco Magic, Spell of the Lost Beast, Zaluterion, Flag of Cirdun, Old Dragon Egg and Ancient Claw are all required for summoning Ancient Dragon.

If you don't have those cards Ancient Dragon can never get onto the field.

"Hmm..." says Evelyn, being happy.

She drink some tea.

The next day.

Aria add some new cards to her deck.

"Okay. Nice." says Aria.

"Yes, indeed." says the spirit as she sit down next to Aria.

"These new cards will be good for any future opponents we might face." says Aria.

"You're right. I wonder who we'll have to duel next." says the spirit.

"I don't know. The tournament's over." says Aria.

"Maybe another interesting one comes up soon." says the spirit.

"Yeah." says Aria.

"Guess we should enjoy the peace we got now." says the spirit.

"Awesome idea." says Aria.

"Yes, Aria." says the spirit.

2 hours later.

Aria and Evelyn eat dinner.

"Did you get to use Exodia again?" says Evelyn.

"I'm sorry. The Exodia cards are gone...the evil perv Melody Green destroyed them..." says Aria in a sad tone.

"Do not worry, Aria. It wasn't your fault." says Evelyn.

"Okay." says Aria.

"I feel no anger towards you for losing the cards." says Evelyn.

"Thanks, grandma." says Aria.

Aria live with her grandma because Aria's mom Ella and dad Byron work away from home all the time.

"You're welcome, sweetie." says Evelyn.

"Yup. I won 'cause of you. You built the deck that I used to win the entire tournament." says Aria.

"Sure, but you have a great part in your own victory as well. If you didn't have true skill it wouldn't matter how powerful the deck is." says Evelyn.

"Alright." says Aria.

"Indeed, girl. You're a very good duelist." says Evelyn.

"I've learned so much from you." says Aria.

"Nice." says Evelyn.

3 days later.

Aria and the spirit relax in Aria's room.

"When will you return the deck to your grandmother?" says the spirit.

"She will let us keep it and start all over with a different one." says Aria.

"That's good of her." says the spirit.

"Yup." says Aria.

"I'm glad we get to have the deck. Over the time we've had it I've become quite attached to it." says the spirit.

"So have I, for sure." says Aria.

The End.
