Later that day after classes had ended, Milton and Elenor were at the Lover's Tree out in the Enchanted Forest.

"Still can't believe we have been hiding our relationship for three years," said Elenor as she ran her fingers over their initials which were freshly carved into the trunk of the tree.

"I can't believe we graduate tomorrow," said Milton as he put an arm around her shoulders and went to pull Elenor closer to him.

"About that," said Elenor while pulling away from him and turning to face the young Grimm.

"You didn't get held back did you?" asked Milton with a worried expression.

"No, it's not that," said Elenor who was a little mad at the fact that's what he automatically jumped to.

"I've decided not to sign the Storybook of Legends," she said.

"You what?" asked a shocked Milton.

"You know that I don't want to be like my mother, so I've decided not to do it," said Elenor.

"But that means you would vanish, I… I would lose you for good," said Milton.

"That's something only your fathers says, Milton, even Headmistress White does not believe it," said Elenor as she gave him an eye roll at hearing this.

"And if it is true then you wouldn't lose me if you didn't sign either," she said while grabbing his hand.

"I can't do that, my father would…," said Milton before he was cut off.

"Is that all you can ever say?" asked Elenor who was obviously mad at this.

"Because I thought you were your own man, Milton," she said while standing at the same time she let go of his hand.

"I hope you have fun signing that stupid book tomorrow," said Elenor before storming off.

"Elenor, wait!" said Milton while jumping to his feet. However, when she did not turn around Milton turned out of frustration and punched the tree with his left hand.

"Gah!" he said while pulling his arm back and grabbing his hand as pain shot through it. Some blood was also running from his knuckles and dripping down onto the ground as he headed back to the school.
