Chapter 22: Dark Matter Unleashed! Articho vs Kakine Concludes!

"Haaaaagh!!!" The second ranked Level 5 yells as his power level is still on the rise. "I have so much power!"

Articho still glances at the Level 5 and the aura surrounding him.

"Well, Saiyan?" Kakine smirks. "Are you ready to start round 2?"

"You can try all you like, it won't work." The Time Patroller says with confidence, despite nervously sweating. "This round will be your last."

Unfortunately, his opponent is no longer there. And it wasn't long before a fast blur knocked him upwards. Articho halts himself in mid air just as Kakine reappars behind him, who isn't looking at him.

Dark Matter instantly back roundhouse kicks the hybrid Saiyan, sending him back down, sliding across the ground.

The Time Patroller pulls his buried head out, and spits out any dirt and grass that got in his mouth.

"Damn." Super Saiyan God Articho curses. "I didn't see him move. However, my power still exceeds his."

Kakine reappears in front of him, catching the hybrid Saiyan by surprise.

Articho quickly backs sway and launches a ki blast at him, who easily swats it away with his Dark Matter wings. The Esper then launched himself toward his opponent, successfully punching him in the abdomen. This made the Time Patroller gag out a bit of blood as the punch sent him flying through the trees. The dirty blond boy then fires a barrage of feathers at him, who is lying on the ground after taking that gut punch.

They hit the ground where the Time Patroller lies on before they started to light up like a Christmas tree.

"Oh, son of a bit-" The Esper's opponent muttered before the projectiles blew up in his face, cutting him off mid sentence.

BOOM!

"Is that it, arrogant Saiyan?" Kakine taunts with a grin.

The smoke clears, revealing the Time Patroller still standing, and covered in bruises and cuts. His gi surprisingly didn't get ripped up from the resulting explosion of the Level 5 Esper's attack. Thankfully - in his Super Saiyan God form - Articho's non-severe wounds started healing back up, restoring his health once again.

"I'm impressed, Articho." Dark Matter admits. "Your durability is remarkable. It's only a matter of time before your god form's superior stamina wears off."

"You shouldn't overestimate the limits of Super Saiyan God, Kakine." Articho coldly warns.

"It doesn't matter how powerful or how fast you may be. I will NEVER lose to anyone who's still green." The Esper retaliates by running towards him, conjuring a sword with his Dark Matter as he grips the weapon tightly with both hands.

"Ya know this isn't a game." He retorts, swinging his blade at him. "Quit screwing around and take this seriously!"

The Time Patroller channels his divine Saiyan power through his hands, aiming them at him. Generating a circular flow of energy, an identical Super Saiyan God aura surrounds his opponent , freezing the dirty blond in place.

"What the-?!" The Level 5 exclaims, caught completely off guard by this surprise move. "What the hell is this?!"

"I didn't come here just to play with you, Kakine." Articho calmly replies, glancing at his opponent up close.

"Damn!" He grits his teeth as he is trapped in bind. "I can't move!"

"God Bind, huh?" Arisa whistled at screen. "Haven't used that technique in awhile."

"What kind of technique is that?" Mikoto asked, curious about the move.

No one answered the Railgun's question as they witness Articho emits a fire colored ki blast in his hand before thrusting it at the frozen Level 5, encasing him in a condensed fiery sphere as the Kakine screams in agony. Thrusting his hand forward at the giant ball, he detonates it, causing a huge explosion as a result.

This is the Explosive Power Ball, courtesy of Jiren. And since he has a skillset themed on fire, it fits perfectly with the Time Patroller's Super Saiyan God state and aura.

When the smoke cleared, the hybrid Saiyan sees his opponent lying on the ground.

"This is your chance to give in, Kakine." He offers. "That power boost you got just by eating that fruit is tearing your body apart. Now, yei-"

"Me, yield?" Kakine scoffs, who is now standing behind his opponent without looking at him, surprising the Super Saiyan God once more. "You think I'll back down from a fight? Where's the logic in that?"

"How did he-?!" The Time Patroller exclaims inside his thoughts with another shocked expression.

The Level 5 then surprises him with an elbow punch to the face before following up with a combo of hard punches to the gut, stunning the dazed hybrid Saiyan before using his wings to form a giant ball. Using both hands, he blasts him point blank range with opponent screaming in sheer pain as the ball - with Articho inside - flies across the landscape before detonating on impact.

Dark Matter sees the giant mushroom cloud with a grin before he starts laughing crazily.

"That's the last time you'll ever humiliate me!" Kakine exclaims. "Let this be a lesson to punks, like yourself, who dares challenge their superior in a one-sided battle!"

Junko clenched her fist tightly, expressing a cold scowl on her face.

"Get up, Articho. Please. You have to get up." Arisa prayed for her lover to not give up. "Don't listen to whatever nonsense Kakine's spewing out of his mouth."

The smoke clears up, revealing the Time Patroller in a defensive stance with both his arms crossed. He then looks up at a distance to where his opponent is hovering.

Articho then stretches his arms forward.

"That was a good stretch for a warm up." He says.

"Ha! Warm up, you say?" Dark Matter grins.

"Yeah." The Time Patroller admits. "The way things are now, your power level is beginning to dwindle. And that means it's time I go on the offensive. At full power."

The Time Patroller then pumps his arms down with his fists clenched and powers up while yelling.

"Haaaaaggggghhhh!"

The ground then starts to shake and everyone watching the fight were in disbelief, realizing what he meant a warm up.

"You mean he wasn't trying till now?!" Mitori exclaims.

"Again?!" Mikoto exclaims. "Just how many more surprises does he have?!"

The hybrid Saiyan's roar then echoes as a bright light envelopes himself, the landscape, and the holo device.

The silhouette then cracks away into pieces, revealing himself to resemble as a Super Saiyan but with cyan hair and cobalt blue pupiless eyes. The light then dies down before his transformation emits a matching blue aura identical to his hairdo color.

"Foolish little bastard!" The dirty blonde snarls, gritting his teeth in anger.

(Ultimate Battle - Epic Rock Cover)

"You ready, Kakine?" Articho asks with a serious face. "The real fight starts now."

In a flash, the Time Patroller flies toward his opponent at full speed ahead.

"You'll know your place soon enough!"The Level 5 responds, dashing toward him in retaliation.

The two fighters in the sky then collided with each other with their own right fists, and Articho's Super Saiyan Blue aura vanishes. They begin to duke it out by blocking and countering each other's punches and kicks, in which Kakine is being pushed back in the struggle.

The two then disappeared in thin air.

Since they're moving so fast, the only thing the spectators saw in the sky were shockwaves left behind by each blow the two are throwing each other at.

"I can barely see any of them." Yobou says as he watches onscreen. "Hell, I can't even see them at all."

Arisa explains. "It's not teleportation, but they move so fast that it looks like they're teleporting."

"That's an amazing skill."

"Not really." The popstar shrugs. "Moving at light speed is very common to those who use ki. Without that power boost, Kakine wouldn't have lasted long."

"Wow." The bleached blonde was impressed.

"Now hold on just a minute." The Railgun interrupts. "You said that Articho can defeat any Esper including all of the Level 5s like myself and Kakine. If that's true, then why hasn't he won already?"

"Kakine's not a bad guy." She deadpans."Articho would wanna fight him at his best. If they turned out to be a tyrant or a mass-genociding scumbag, he won't hesitate to end the threat immediately. Hybrid Saiyans are more logic than their Pure counterparts who tend to screw around and get careless. In other words, Articho wouldn't even need to transform in the first place to win a life or death scenario."

"I suppose that makes sense." The Ace of Tokiwadai realized.

The two fighters reappear from opposite sides. Articho forms a small blue ki sphere known as the Riot Javelin in his right hand, and throws it at Kakine, who then simultaneously launches an energy beam with both hands and wings.

The attacks collided with one another and exploded as a result. Then, the Time Patroller and Esper charge in and collided with their fists, creating a large dome of explosive energy.

A large dome of dust spread as a result.

Inside the dome, Articho and Kakine trade blocks and counters with no end in sight.

"This is your last warning." Articho warns, still throwing everything he has at him. "Forfeit before things get worse.Craving power to defeat your opponents will be your undoing. Especially with the likes of me."

"Don't you ever shut up?!" Kakine yells, backing away as he uses his Dark Matter to fire a barrage of small blasts.

"So that's how you wanna play." The unfazed Time Patroller responds by using his glare, hitting his opponent with multiple shockwaves.

However, this only pissed the Level 5 off.

"Enough with the damn glaring!" He roars, firing another beam at him.

"That won't work!" Articho retaliates, forming a blue divine aura around his fist and punches the blast head on that cancels it out.

Unfortunately, his opponent wasn't there and Dark Matter drop kicks him from behind.

"Got you!" Kakine grins.

The Time Patroller crashes back onto the ground, forming a small crater. This gives the Level 5 an opening as he forms a giant dark red ball and throws it down on his opponent's ass.

"EAT THIS!!" The ball makes impact and Articho is inside of it and is shielding himself before spreading both hands to cause a ki explosion, detonating Kakine's attack.

"That won't be enough to beat me!" The hybrid Saiyan exclaims and dashes upwards at him with a successful punch, flying past him before repeating the same dash move back and forth, stunning him. He then sledgehammers the Esper back down before the former reignites his Super Saiyan Blue aura and descends to where Kakine's body impacted and lightly bounces two feet off the ground.

Seeing this opportunity, Articho dashes through him with a battle cry and lands in a crouching stance before a resulting explosion detonates within his opponent.

The Time Patroller turns around and forms two red spheres of energy in the palms of his hands and cups them together for a devastating attack.

"Times Ten! KamehameHAAAA!!" He roars, launching a huge red energy beam from his hands.

The red blast envelopes Dark Matter and the Time Patroller continues to yell, lunging his arms forward to push his attack's power to the maximum before ending in another light show explosion.

(Song Ends)

Articho pants slightly as he dissipates his blue divine aura, looking on at the smoke where his opponent took the brunt of his blast.

"This is my true power, Kakine." He declares with Saiyan pride and a clenched fist. "This... is Super Saiyan Blue."

"I see now." Junko deduces with a finger on her chin. "So, Super Saiyan God acts like his godly base. And this must be the transformation for that said godly base. That explains why his red hair stayed down and not up when he transformed."

"That's right." Mikoto realizes, more impressed. "I wonder if he can access the next level with his godly abilities."

"Like what? Super Saiyan Blue 2?" Mitori sarcastically questions with a snort.

"That's technically a thing, but there's little point in that." The popstar shrugs again. "He only combined god ki with the regular Super Saiyan form without accessing the next level of Super Saiyan and beyond because he doesn't need it."

"Doesn't need it?" Everyone questioned in unison, surprised to hear that.

"What do you mean?" Yobou asks. "The superior the form, the more reliable you use it, right?"

"How ignorant." Kaibi sighs, facepalming. "Strength isn't everything, Yobou."

"Can you tell us what you know about Super Saiyan Blue?" Rakko asks.

"Not much. This is the second time I've seen this blue haired form." The pink haired girl shakes her head. "However, I do know that Super Saiyan Blue uses up more energy than Super Saiyan God. I wonder how he's able to reach this level and mastered it."

Somewhere in the Japanese countryside...

"Extreme ki control?"Hana tilts her head curiously. "And it's only when he's Super Saiyan Blue?"

"Basically." Bardock answers with his arms crossed."It can also apply to the other forms except Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan 4 because those two have superior stamina, while the first three have an issue in keeping its energy from leaking out due to the raw power."

"But Super Saiyan God has raw power." His wife pointed out, covering up her modesty with the futon blanket.

"You're missing the point." Bardock told her, standing up which made her get a good view of his nude form. "The regular forms are downplayed because the multipliers aren't as superior as Super Saiyan 4 and the god forms. That leads to self reliance on the latter three, which I've seen it as a major flaw amongst most hybrid Saiyans within the Time Patrol.Including my own son and the prince himself, except for their Time Patrolling counterparts."

"Oh really?" Hana smiled, tilting her head.

"I get that makes sense."

"Sure does." The Father of Goku says, reminiscing what he said to his student.

Four years ago (from Bardock's point of view)...

"There will be times where you no longer have to always rely on your stronger forms." Bardock lectures to his only student in his boot camp since no one dares to undergo his harsh training regimen."In fact, you shouldn't self rely on them at all."

"Why not?" Articho naively questions. "Superior transformation means having a better chance to defeating your opponent."

"Are you really that dense?" His instructor glares. "Has experience truly taught you nothing?Saiyan's are strong enough without them in combat."

"Huh?"He raises an eyebrow, still confused. "I'm not following."

"Do you recall Vegeta and Trunks's first fight against Cell, when they were in those bulky forms to win? Or the time Kakarot and Vegeta were self relying on their Super Saiyan Blue forms to overpower fighters like Black or Jiren?Because from what I've seen in the Time Scrolls, they've ignored training in their natural state almost entirely and instead push themselves to increase the Super Saiyan forms' power."

"So, what? I should just stop using the forms altogether and fight in only my base?" The hybrid Saiyan questions in disbelief."I'm nothing without the-!"

"What good is being a Super Saiyan or a god if you can't even train to make your base stronger than the transformations themselves alone? You couldn't even beat Mechikabura to free Chronoa from brainwashing!" He snaps angrily. "You let all of that newfound power go to your head and carelessly let him get the better of you when you had no chance against him to begin with!"

Articho flinches, expressing a shocked face as sweat drops down his head.

"If you keep making this same mistake like the others, then that proves you can't punch worth a damn." He concludes, turning away with his arms crossed and eyes closed. "Tch. I don't know why I'm wasting my breath telling meatbags like yourself this obvious fact."

The young Time Patroller looks down at the ground, ashamed.

"He's right." The boy admits in his thoughts. "A transformation for the sake of power alone is worthless. I learned that the hard way."

Preoccupied with himself, the early teenage Articho is unaware that Chronoa in small stature was hiding behind a rock, worried for his mental state after hearing his thoughts with telepathy. Unbeknownst to her, Bardock caught notice of the Supreme Kai of Time but kept quiet about it.

"As long as Articho's fighting the way he is now, he'll never improve." Bardock says in his head. "Otherwise, he might not be able to continue protecting her."

Present day...

Bardock stoically looks at the holo screen, hoping that his teachings have truly paid off. Hana stood behind him and embraced her husband.

Meanwhile with Articho's friends...

"Wow." Mikoto comments, surprised. "I didn't expect someone as perfect as Articho to make a lot of mistakes."

Of course, Arisa had to change up the story to keep the Time Patrol and her true identity a secret.

"He's not perfect, Misaka." Arisa explains with a sad smile. "Articho may be a gifted warrior, but he's still human. That's one of the things I love about him. In the past few months, he's relying more on his brain than his fists after coming to the conclusion that strength - both body and mind - alone isn't enough. So, he spent the rest of his training on contingency plans, thus becoming a master detective and tactician. He's so dreamy, strong, and really cute when it comes to fighting the forces of evil. So badass."

'I guess that also explains why I have a deep interest in him.' The purple haired Saiyan thought to herself.

Suddenly, an explosion erupts out of the smoke as Kakine is powering up.

"Impressive." He admits. "Perhaps you're not a mere bug after all. But alas, you're starting to get on my nerves. That is a sin worthy of death!"

He jumps in the air and opens his wings up, firing a rain shower of feathers at his opponent.

"Oh, so now you're resorting to murder just to win? What a brilliant idea." Articho sarcastically remarks as he swats the projectiles away.

Unfortunately, one of the feathers hit his foot, knocking the boy back with three flips before gluing him in place to prevent him from moving.

"Damn it!" The Time Patroller curses, trying to effortlessly move. "Come on!"

"Begone!" The dirty blond exclaims as he charges down toward him, wielding a Dark Matter sword to cut him down.

"Hell no!" Articho objects, successfully using his strength to move his foot off the projectile, simultaneously kicking his opponent upwards in the chin before landing gracefully as he faces the opposite direction. "Looks like I'll have to play this safer than I thought. But this form can only last for so long-"

"Ah ahh." Kakine interrupts, getting the hybrid Saiyan to face him. "His attention has been drawn from my presence. Another sin!"

(Reversal Exchange - Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST plays)

Dark Matter launches more feathers at the Time Patroller, who expresses an annoyed look before the latter hovers an inch of the ground and glides toward his opponent, vanishing from the former's sight.

"Where did-?" He questions before being cut off by a salvo of rainbow colored blows.

The Time Patroller reappears behind the Esper and swipe kicks him across the landscape.

Kakine gets back up, panting, and starts laughing a bit crazy.

"Perhaps you're not entirely useless." The Level 5 smugly remarks. "You pack more of a punch than the Seventh Ranked. Which begs the question: Do you think that's enough to beat me?"

"Enough of your quiveling, Kakine." The Time Patroller quips before gesturing his left hand with a grin. "Hurry up already. You have a Saiyan to squash."

"Grrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaahhhhh!!!" Kakine roars, completely pissed as the two opponents charge at each other.

Articho throws the first punch, hitting him in the chest, but Kakine grabs him by the hair tosses him up and punches the hybrid Saiyan away that sent him flying.

"Whooooooaaaaa!" The Time Patroller exclaims as his body was sent soaring around the Earth.

"Holy shit!" The girls exclaimed.

Somewhere near the city border of London, England...

It's nighttime in England, and Articho's body crashes down in a flat grassy field. He quickly gets up and turns around to see that Kakine has flown east, over the United States of America at hypersonic speeds no doubt.

"Ya know, you're hitting a hell of a lot harder than you were before." The Time Patroller trolls his opponent before expressing a cocky smirk. "Have I struck a nerve?"

"GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!" The Level 5 exclaims as a red vein appears over his head as he releases a huge explosion that sweeps the surrounding area.

Articho stands still as he is caught in the explosion. His opponent grins but quickly turns into a shocked face when the smoke clears up to reveal the former still standing without a scratch.

"Now it's my turn!" The Time Patroller exclaims before evading a punch with Instant Transmission to get behind him.

He performs a series of casual sweep kicks, sending him flying backwards before reappearing behind the Esper and kicks him, repeating himself in a synchronized pattern by reappearing in different spots and kicking him multiple times.

Reappearing one last time as his opponent's body is soaring towards him, Articho performs an upward kick in the face, resulting in a strong shockwave that sent Kakine flying high in the sky.

The Level 5's body soared out of the Earth at ridiculous speeds until he crashes onto the rocky surface of the moon, which now orbits over Europe, Africa, and some of the Middle East.

"What's wrong?" Articho calls from the planet surface with his hands cupped over his mouth. "Is that all the power of an Esper has?"

(Song Ends)

Back on the moon, Kakine slowly gets back up, realizing he's no longer on Earth. He quickly manipulates the elementary particles, allowing him to breath in space. Then, he hears Articho's taunt before it ends with the echoing of the word 'has'.

Gritting his teeth and clenching his fists, the dirty blond became deeply infuriated, roaring like a lunatic.

Meanwhile...

Arisa and the others all paled. Articho has literally kicked Kakine to the moon. Luckily, Kaibi remains unfazed by this action.

As for the Amakusa, they no longer see both fighters in sight, having no clue where they are now.

"Where did they go?" Itsuwa questions confusingly. "They were just here."

Back with Articho...

A giant shadow passes over the landscape as the moon seems to have gotten bigger somehow.

"Huh?" Articho narrows his eyes at the night sky before taken aback in disbelief and shock. "Wait, what?!"

With the help of his ability, Kakine is pushing the moon down towards the Earth.

And with incredible speed.

"HAAAAAAAAAA!" He yells as the moon enters and burns through the Earth's atmosphere.

(Awesome Opponent - Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST Plays)

The Time Patroller sighs with a frown.

"Well, that's just great." He mutters in annoyance as the sky lights up as the burning front half of the moon is hurling down towards not just himself but as well as London due to the massive size of the celestial object.

"Of all the-" Bardock facepalms. "Has that kid lost his goddamn mind?! This gonna get out of hand really soon! Not to mention, people will be asking questions about this!"

"Can you stop this?!"Hana asks her husband.

"This is his battle, not mine." He reminds her. "Only thing I can do is watch."

"But-!"

"I know!" He yells before calming down. "I know."

"But the moon!"

"I'm sure the Guardian of Earth can fix this once it's over."He casually assures before closing his eyes. 'After all, he has that do over of his.'

"If you say so." She answers, laying on top of her naked husband. "We should probably finish up this round as well... Just in case."

The veteran Saiyan looked at his wife for a moment, before grinning.

"Might as well." He answers, grabbing her hips as he continued to fuck her.

"Kaaaameeeehaaaameeee-" Articho chants, charging up a counterattack.

"Face damnation, pest!" Kakine yells.

"HAAAAAAA!!" The Time Patroller fires his blast at the moon.

In the blink of an eye, the moon blows up to smithereens.

However, the Level 5 is flying through his opponent's blast at the speed of light, crashing into him that resulted in the entire grassy field being decimated by a resulting shockwave.

(Song Ends)

When the dust cleared, both fighters are down but not out, as they somewhat struggle to get back on their feet.

Articho looks up at the sky, seeing a meteor shower from the aftermath of the moon's destruction.

He then looks at his opponent, who looks back in anger, gritting his teeth.

'If this keeps up, I'm done for. And I'm wasting my energy just trying to stay ahead.' The hybrid Saiyan thought until an idea formed in his head. 'Wait, that's it!'

Articho gets in his stance and reverts back to Super Saiyan God with his divine aura emitting once more.

"What's the matter? Getting tired already?" Kakine taunts with a shit eating grin. "I was hoping to fight you at your full strength a lot longer."

"Trust me!" He assures. "You are!"

The Time Patroller charges in with a yell and throws a punch before the Esper's vision went white and made his ears ringing loudly.

The other teens watching the fight through a holo screen had to cover their ears.

Kakine is flown back, crashing back on the ground.

"What the?! How did he?!" He questions in confusion before snarling at his opponent. "Why you little!"

He charges at him head on, only for a flash of light striking him.

Articho performs a roundhouse kick as a Super Saiyan God before landing a huge blow in a split second as a Super Saiyan Blue with a right hook to the face.

Dark Matter crashes into a rocky wall before taking another hit by a barrage of yellow ki blasts.

Luckily, he moved out of the way and reappears back in the air, still confused as he glances at Super Saiyan God Articho.

'What's going on?! I should be having the advantage now!' Kakine questions himself. 'I was dominating his God form beforehand. What gives?!'

"Uhh, can someone explain to me what the hell just happened?" Mitori questions, cleaning her ears out from the high pitch ringing.

"It would seem that he blew up the moon." Kaibi answered. "That could be problematic."

"No shit." The purple haired girl glared. "Thanks to your boyfriend, one of human history's greatest achievements is gone."

"Now, he wasn't the one responsible." The bleached blonde pointed out. "Arisa's champion is to blame."

"You take that back!" Arisa snaps, infuriated. "None of us would be here if the moon collided with the Earth! It's not Articho's fault Kakine would pull something like this!"

"None of us would be here if he hadn't destroyed it to protect the Earth facing nuclear winter! It's not Articho's fault Kakine would pull something like this!"

"That's right!" Junko agreed. "You should have been more concerned about this."

"Why should I?"

"Because if the moon collided, many of us would have died. Including your unborn child." The reincarnated goddess of Time coldy remarks with a frown. "What you're saying is selfish and arrogant."

"Maybe if YOUR boyfriend hadn't endlessly taunted mine, then moon would've still be around." She roasts.

"He's not my boyfriend... Not yet."

"Well the two of you sure fuck like a couple." Mitori mutters.

"YOU STAY OUT OF THIS!" The popstar warns, pointing her finger at her. "This is between her and me."

"Oooh, scary." She mockingly grins.

"One more word."

"You'll what?" She quips. "You're a Level 0. All you can do is watch on the sidelines."

Arisa remained silent as she clenches her right hand, frowning at the girl. She's even more disrespectful than Saten and Articho.

"U-Umm..." Junko intervenes with a nervous smile. "Perhaps we should continue watching-"

"No!" The three girls responded, scaring the ringlet girl.

"I-I'm so sorry!"

"All right, now I believe I have quite enough of people disrespecting me." Mitori scoffs. "Wanna fight?"

"Gladly."

The two girls began to get into a fighting stance.

"Just so you know, I have more combat experience than you." The purple haired girl smirks. 'It's strange that I'm going to be fighting in the nude in front of other people.'

"Oh really?" The pink haired girl sarcastically questions. "Wow. You must be a brilliant fighter."

Mitori's left eye began to twitch in annoyance.

"You think you're so better than me?"

"Yep."

"Bullishit." She snarls. "If you know martial arts, who trained you? Your boyfriend?"

"Nope." She shakes her head.

"Hokaze?"

"Wrong again."

"Who?!"

"Figure it out yourself." The popstar snorts. "I'm not telling you a damn thing about my personal life."

"Why you-!" Mitori roars in anger as she prepares to attack her.

However, blue lightning struck between the two girls.

They then look in the direction where it came from, realizing it was Mikoto Misaka. And she's really fed up with their petty quarrel.

"ENOUGH, BOTH OF YOU." She yelled at the two girls. "This pissing contest isn't gonna solve anything."

The girls gazed at each other, realizing that she was right. This wasn't going anywhere.

"She started it!" They clench their fists at each other, gritting their teeth.

"Who cares." She coldly glare daggers at them. "All I see are two loud bitches fighting over something so petty. You're acting like spoiled children, and it's pissing me off!"

"She's right." Kaibi agrees smugly.

"And you!" The Railgun glares at the bleached blonde. "You should be more considerate about the life of your baby. As for blowing up the moon, I'm a little upset about it. However, he prevented the Earth getting smashed. In Articho's place, your thick-headed boyfriend would've done the same damn thing. IF he'd do it, that is."

"Misaka is absolutely right." The lavender haired teenager agrees with her underclassmen. "In fact when this is all over, I'm going to go over to him and ask for permission to slap him across the face."

"Be my guest." The pregnant blonde girl casually grants. "He needs to be taught a lesson anyway."

Mitori then glances at Arisa, frowning.

"One day, I'm gonna knock that smug expression clean off your face." She whispers to the side.

"Good luck with that." The popstar eye rolls.

Back in England...

Super Saiyan God Articho smirks at a worn down Kakine, who is beginning to grow exhausted as the effects of the Demon enhanced Shinseijū fruit are taking a toll on him.

'Tch. I'll just have to increase my speed.' The Level 5 thinks. 'I can't let him have the edge in both speed AND power.'

'I have to stop him, here and now.' The Time Patroller tells himself. 'He's let his guard down. This is my chance!'

He then flies up towards his opponent and throws his right fist at him, while transforming into a Super Saiyan Blue in a split second.

However, Kakine has moved to the side and the Time Patroller missed his strike.

The hybrid Saiyan's eyes widen in shock, now realizing too late that Dark Matter has quickly saw through his strategy.

The Esper then slams his fist at his opponent, sending him crashing back down, forming a small crater.

"So that was it. He was combining both transformations in an instant in order to not waste stamina." Kakine deduced. "All I had to do was not give him the chance to transform."

'This isn't good!' Articho mentally panics, reverting back to Super Saiyan God. 'I can't let this drag on any further if he continues to quickly adapt, and I've almost used up half of my energy.'

"Again, that was very impressive." The dirty blonde boy commends. "What's even clever is that you reduced your power by transforming for small bursts. Unfortunately, that dirty trick won't work on me again now that I've figured out how you were able to get past my defenses so easily. Ya better come up with something else. Otherwise, you're in for world of hurt."

"Okay, I wasn't expecting a switcheroo of all places." Mikoto jaw dropped. "By going back and forth between forms, Articho went Blue the very moment he's about to land a blow on Kakine before reverting back to God, so he doesn't necessarily waste any reserves he still has left in him."

"A dirty move, but effective. Ya gotta give him that." Arisa casually shrugs. 'What are you going to do now, Articho?'

The Time Patroller once again powers up to Super Saiyan Blue at full power, yelling as the ground shakes.

'I must end this now! It's all or nothing!' Articho mentally screams before shouting aloud, "KAIOKEENN!!"

With those words, his divine blue aura is now topped over by a pinkish red jagged aura.

'That form, too?!' Junko mentally exclaims as her eyes widen in surprise, recalling the time he used that familiar move on her which led to their battle to be one sided.

"HAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!" He screams as he finishes powering up to Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken before glancing upward at his opponent in the air.

(Go Beyond the Limits - Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST Plays)

"WHAT?!" The second ranked Level 5 exclaims.

The hybrid Saiyan gets in his fighting stance before Z-vanishing for a split second and reappearing close to his opponent, knee kicking him in the jaw, and sledgehammers him back to ground level, sending Dark Matter's body crashing on the ground that formed a cloud of dust.

Kakine winces in pain, struggling to stand back up. But it was pointless as Articho reappears in front of him again, striking him in the gut with a hard punch.

"Gahh!" He spew out blood from his mouth after feeling the force of impact from his foe's punch.

The Time Patroller then punches him in the face with his left fist before unleashing a combo of punches and kicks all over his upper body.

With a godly roar, the hybrid Saiyan right hooks him in the face, sending a shockwave across the grassy landscape and his opponent soaring out of England with the former following behind.

Somewhere in the Mojave Desert, USA...

Over the desert, Articho slams Kakine down before flying under him and kicks him back upward midair.

'Damn it!' The Esper mentally curses. 'Whatever the hell he just did, his power keeps increasing. And his speed, it's too fast for me to even counter!'

The Time Patroller reappears on the sand and readies an ultimate attack.

"KAAAAAMEEEEEHAAAAAMEEEEEE-!" He chants before firing a huge blue energy beam upwards at him. "-HAAAAAAAAA!!"

Dark Matter attempts to block, shielding himself with his wings.

"You're mine!" Articho yells before dashing through his own attack, catching his opponent by surprise.

"You will never best me, Saiyan!" The dirty blond boy exclaims.

The hybrid Saiyan reels his clenched fist back for a final attack as he continues charging through his Kaioken God Kamehameha.

"DRAGON FIST!!" Articho yells, as he is engulfed in an explosion, turning him into golden Chinese Dragon who closely resembles a certain wish-granting dragon.

The golden dragon roars with its mouth wide open, and chomps through the shielded Esper.

Dark Matter's eyes widened.

"GAAAHHH!!" He painfully screams before exploding in a giant yellow domed light.

(Song Ends)

When the smoke cleared, Dark Matter himself stands in the center of a large, deep crater with his body slouched over.

Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken Articho lands in front of his vulnerable opponent, grinning confidently.

"What's wrong?" He trolls. "Let's fight some more."

"H-How can someone this powerful achieve this?" Kakine questions aloud, reaching his arm out at him before collapsing. "W-What the hell are you??"

The Level 5 falls flat on his face, completely knocked unconscious and signifying the Time Patroller's victory.

Articho powers down, reverting back in his base form.

"You had that one coming for throwing a moon at me." He gloats. "If I ended the fight a lot earlier, I wouldn't need to resort in my strongest forms to reach full power. Though, you gotta admit, without that fruit, you wouldn't have lasted long. But still, you provided me a battle without any bloodshed I haven't seen in awhile. Perhaps if spent more time training than lazing around, you could have beaten me."

Suddenly, everything freezes to a halt as time stops completely before the entire fight rewinds itself as if it was some television episode.

In the process, the moon is restored back in its original place that orbits the Earth from above.

And both fighters, including everyone else, are repositioned to where they were just moments before the fight even began.

"It seems you're not fazed at a-" Articho says before stopping mid sentence and looks around in confusion. "Huh?"

"What just happened?" Mitori questions, before noticing something. "My clothes, they're back!"

"What the hell?" Arisa questions, confused as well. "Why are we back at the beginning of the fight?"

"What are you guys talking about?" Mikoto asks with a raised eyebrow.

"You don't remember?" She asks her."Remember what?"

"What are you doing gawking around?" Kakine interrupts, getting impatient. "If you're not gonna make your move, then I'll go first."

'Is it me, or did time just rewind itself?' The Time Patroller questions.'If that's the case, then...'

He looks up at the blue sky to see the moon back to normal, confusing him even more.

'You're probably wondering how this happened.' An unknown male voice speaks in the boy's head. 'That would be me. You're lucky I can turn back time for half an hour, otherwise the moon would've remained gone due to your friend's recklessness. It would be a real pain in my ass to wish it back to the way it was.'

"Who's there?" Articho demands aloud looking around.

"I'm right over here." He directs.

Articho looks to his right but finds no one there.

"Your other right."The voice corrects.

The Time Patroller turns his head to the left and sees an unknown being standing there. He looks to be in his prime and is green skinned with two antennas sticking above his forehead.

The alien is also wearing robes and a white neck wrapped cloak, and carrying a wooden staff in his hand.

'A Namekian?' Articho wonders curiously. 'All the way out in this universe? Definitely one I don't recognize.'

The other teens caught eye at what the hybrid Saiyan is looking at and are completely surprised to see the green alien.

"Greetings, young Saiyan."

"Uh, sorry. Don't mean to be rude but... who the hell exactly are you?"

"I am Zalama." The Namekian introduces himself."Or in this case, you may know me as the Dragon God, Saiyan from Universe 7."

Articho reeled back in surprise.

'Zalama?? The creator of the Super Dragon Balls?'

"Who?" His friends questioned in confusion sync.
