Katsuki woke up in the early morning with an excruciating headache and his stomach churning. Did he go overboard? He looked at the time, it was almost 10AM. He panicked for a bit, wasn't he supposed to be at a meeting? Just as he was about to stand up, Eiji came into the bedroom. He looked extremely tired and stressed out.
"No, you stay in bed."
"I have work to do." He could not even stand up straight. He almost fell, but Eiji just grabbed him under his arms in time. He felt so dizzy.
"I said, you will stay in bed today."
Katsuki looked up at Eiji, who looked visibly mad. The sight of him was scary. The way the redhead stood and his teeth were sticking out from his threatening posture made Katsuki rethink what he wanted to do. He did not look at Katsuki this way before. So he obeyed. Eiji put him back into bed, sat him down and tucked him in.
"Where is Momo?"
"She went ahead. She wants you to rest as well."
"What happened yesterday? I don't remember anything after we arrived at the dinner."
"You drank way too much, despite me trying to stop you. You wouldn't listen, and embarrassed us, especially Momo-san in front of the others. You also vomited as soon as I brought you here."
"...sorry."
"Sorry?...You are SORRY?" Eiji was fuming right in front of him, starting to yell at him louder the more he spoke.
"Do you have any clue how worried me and Momo-san were? I thought you were going to puke your guts out. We had to call in a medic. I stayed up almost all night to make sure that you are okay. For you, it's all fun and games, but not for me, not for Momo-san. I wish you would take our words much more seriously!"
The man standing right in front of him had to take a deep breath to calm himself down. He then looked even more upset, distressed, and sad.
"I do not want to bring this up, but you have no idea how it feels to have somebody by your side who suffered from alcohol overdose and almost died for it. You think I don't notice you sneakily drinking something? I am not telling you to stop drinking, but please, please drink more responsibly."
By then as he was talking, he was trembling, full of anxiety and looked like he was about to cry.
God, this made Katsuki feel absolutely awful and guilty. He did not mean to make them worry like that. He was so speechless, he didn't know what to say.
Eiji went out of the bedroom, then back in with a glass of water, medicine and a bowl of fruit salad. He handed Katsuki the glass of water and a pill to calm down his headache. Katsuki drank the entire glass. He then was handed the bowl with a fork.
"Here, I know you are hungover, but at least eat a little bit of fruit. Your body needs nutrients. It will calm down your upset stomach too."
Katsuki did everything Eiji told him to do. It was hard to eat for him, but he bit so much into every little piece of fruit he ate. He couldn't even finish half of it, but at least he ate something.
He then lied down back to rest and make that pain go away. Eiji sat down by his side all the time without a word, only with an expression of worry, gently petting the blonde's hair.
"...I really am sorry, Eiji." He reached and held the redhead's other hand, which he did not object to.
They both were like this for a while, without a word and Katsuki's headache started to calm down slowly. Eiji was then the first one to break the silence.
"I am going to make a light chicken soup for your upset stomach. You really need to stay hydrated more as well. I will bring you some tea too, alright?"
Katsuki nodded. Eiji then left for the kitchen, while the blonde sat down in bed, took out his phone to call Momo. Just as the phone rang once, a voice could be heard immediately from the other end of the line.
"Oh my god, Bakugou-san? Is that you? How are you feeling?"
"Yeah, it's me, and I am already feeling much better. Uhm, Momo...I am really sorry."
"Sorry??? We were so worried about you, you have no idea!!"
"I...kinda know? I got an earful from Eiji."
"Well, you deserved that, you are such an idiot sometimes...Bakugou-san, please control yourself…"
"I know...I really am sorry, I will be careful. Do you need me for anything today? I can still get things done through my laptop."
"No, you should really rest up, I've got this under control!"
"...Alright, but please call me if there is anything you need. Also...thank you for being so responsible."
"Of course, that's a given."
Katsuki couldn't help but smile. He truly is grateful to Momo for always being so reliable. He doesn't think that he would get things done if it wasn't for her being there, too.
The last two weeks in Honolulu and LA have been really exhausting, so having a day off doesn't sound so bad. Surely, they still have one about three more days before going to San Francisco and having a much more lenient schedule, but still. He felt like he had no idea what to do with this free time.
He then noticed Eiji's Switch on his night table. He has his own at home in Osaka, but due to his busy schedule, doesn't play it as often. He just took Eiji's, turned it on and checked out what games he has on it. He checked out the many games he has in the library, but there was one that he liked the visual of...it was called Hollow Knight.
Eiji then just came into the bedroom with a small teapot with a cup and put them on Katsuki's night table.
"Whatcha playing?"
"This game looks nice. Is it good?"
"Oh yeah. Highly recommend it. It's a metroidvania-style game that has won many awards. Try it. I finished it myself some time ago. I'll continue cooking for now while you play."
"Huh, alright. Thanks."
Eiji then left the room, Katsuki turned on the game and played while sipping on the tea. The game looked gorgeous, and he loved that eerie atmosphere of the game. He really enjoyed playing it. He always enjoyed adventure games that were more labyrinth like and it gave him a challenge for the enemies and bosses. He chuckled a bit when he noticed that the majority of the characters he encounters are some kind of bugs and beetles, which he knows Eiji liked.
He was so into the game that he did not notice Eiji coming in until he smelled some nice food. His stomach actually felt like it wanted to consume food. Eiji brought him a nice soup with pieces of bread on a tray and a small bowl of rice with some sauce and eggs on top. Eiji returned back with a tray of his own and sat down next to Katsuki in bed.
Katsuki could not finish his food, but as always, Eiji's cooking was delicious. He felt like he wouldn't be able to consume anybody else's cooking after the hangover he had, as if Eiji's cooking just suddenly gave him that appetite for food.
When Katsuki finished eating, he returned back to the game to play some more.
"You enjoying it?" asked Eiji.
"Yeah, it's really fun."
"Can I watch you play?"
"You don't even need to ask me, come here."
Eiji sat down then right next to him, sharing the blanket of the bed linen together. The redhead rested his head onto Katsuki's head, while watching him play. He dozed off for a while, he must have been incredibly tired if he had been watching Katsuki for almost the entire night. They have spent the day like this in bed, later also playing together with the two joysticks, or watching TV as well. It was nice to be able to share a relaxing day like this with him. As it was getting late into the afternoon, Eiji wanted to prepare some dinner. Katsuki really did not feel like going anywhere, so it was nice to have such comfort and letting Eiji cook.
"I was thinking, if Momo-san wants, we could have her for dinner here too?" Eiji asked.
"Yeah, that's a good idea."
Katsuki called Momo right after, who was looking forward to it. All three of them enjoyed dinner to the fullest. Eiji excused himself right after dinner to go to the gym.
"Gym? Now? Isn't it usually discouraged to go in the evening?" asked Katsuki.
"Not when you go about 1-2 hours before sleep. It helps me actually to tire myself out. Besides, I am sure you two need to discuss some work related things, since you were missing today. Please excuse me."
Eiji left the suite not shortly after. He seemed off the entire day...considering Katsuki screwed up yesterday, he was probably really upset. Katsuki however can't shake the feeling that the redhead was upset about something else.
He was pretty sure he won't get any dicking from him tonight. Damn it. He thinks of what he could do to cheer him up a bit.
"Bakugou-san?"
He then came to his senses and almost forgot that Momo was sitting with him in the dining room and that they were discussing today's work she took care of while he was resting the entire day.
"Sorry Momo, you think you could cover for me tomorrow, too?"
She absolutely shrieked in horror.
"Wait, what? No, I can't do this! Tomorrow is an extremely important meeting! I can't be there without you!"
"Of course you can. You managed today just great. I have no doubt you can handle it. Eiji is really upset, I want to do something to make up for him."
"Yeah, but…"
"Momo, I have been telling you this these past years. You are good at negotiating, you have a great sense of organization, are professional in every area around people, and you always have great decision-making. Please? Just try this?"
She hesitated for a second, couldn't even say anything, was playing around with her hair from nervousness.
"I-I don't know…"
"If you really are stuck, feel like you don't know what to do, there is an absolute emergency, then call me. I'll make it up to you, promise. You can do it, I believe in you."
"...I can try."
"Thank you."
Katsuki couldn't help but smile. It was about time that Momo handled things by herself without needing him. She really can take care of things by herself for sure. She really needs that confidence boost. He has to partially thank Eiji, since he has a good excuse to not work and let Momo handle things.
They talked about a few work related things, before she has left to rest up and get ready for tomorrow.
"Bakugou-san, please take care of Eiji. You have no idea how panicked he was."
"Of course, I will."
They both then said their good nights and Momo left.
Eiji was not even back yet. Since he was sure he wouldn't get anything from the taller man tonight, he went to take a shower to jerk off. He then washed his hair, brushed his teeth and prepared to wait for Eiji should he not be back yet.
He arrived not long after he came out of the bathroom, completely covered in sweat and his messy hair bun. Fuck, he was so hot, he would have taken him on right away...but no, he had to contain himself.
"Welcome back Eiji."
"Oh, hi...is Momo-san gone already? When are you waking up for tomorrow?"
"She is gone, yes, but no need to wake up early. Momo will go to work alone and I will stay with you."
Eiji was surprised and at the same time, perplexed about Katsuki's words.
"Wait, what? Don't you need to be there? And...you don't need to stay with me, you surely have tons of work to do…"
"First of all, hell no, I am not leaving you alone tomorrow. I am taking you out. Second, I want Momo to be independent, and I know she can do this by herself. We are almost done with the main things that need to be taken care of, therefore only a few minor things are left. She is incredibly talented and has handled much more complicated work before. I completely trust her to take care of things."
"...Are you really sure about that? You want to spend time with me?"
Katsuki walked up to him, put his arms around the redhead's neck and gave him a kiss while tiptoeing.
"Yes, of course. I want to spend it with you."
Once Eiji has heard those words, Katsuki could see the shine in his eyes, smiled while his cheeks flushed a little.
"Really?.." He really looked like he couldn't believe what Katsuki just said.
"Yes, really. We can wake up whenever, but knowing you, you will be already awake very early."
"Don't I need to at least make breakfast for Momo, too?"
"Nah, no need to, she has to leave very early and she will have a good breakfast during the morning meeting anyways, no need to worry."
"Alright. Please let go of me though, I am super sweaty and I see you already took a shower."
"I don't mind though."
He let go of Eiji only after another kiss that he'd given. He will make sure to make Eiji return to his cheery self.
Eiji then went to shower alone. How much Katsuki wished to join him right in. He just played the Switch more while waiting for the redhead to come back. He returned to the bedroom with his hair completely wet, forgetting his scrunchie. His long butt-length hair looked so lovely and shiny. He wanted to touch it so badly.
"Hey Eiji...can I somehow help you with your hair?"
He seemed pleasantly surprised about his question.
"You willing to do that for me? I just need it dried out."
"Yes, sure."
Eiji grabbed the hair-dryer and a few of his skin-care products from the bathroom and sat down on the bed. Drying and brushing his hair was really painful considering how long it is and how long it took him to do it. He wonders how Eiji is able to take care of it so often, that must take away a lot of his time. Not to mention all the skin-care products he uses. No wonder his skin is so soft.
Eiji seemed extremely tired himself, both physically and mentally. He just lay down in bed and closed his eyes. Every night before that, before they left for Hawaii, Eiji would almost every night wait for Katsuki to fall asleep by cuddling up to him, petting his hair and giving him gentle kisses on the forehead and cheek, which he grew to like. It was time Katsuki returned the favor as well. He was laying down next to Eiji and gently playing with his hair and petting him, which made the redhead relax and very soon fall into a deep slumber. Katsuki fell asleep not long after him.
