"This just in. The rumors we have all been hearing are all true. Japan is being ransacked by a new super monster, and we still have no ideal where our heroes are. For now the Ministry of Defense has issued a mandatory stay at home order stating this new super monster is like none we've seen so far, adding that he's killed thousands of our armed forces and eludes capture. I repeat, if you see this man do not, I repeat, do not attempt to engage with him. He is extremely dangerous."
The Chief pressed the button turning the monitor screen off. This new menace had devastated far more than any of the previously afflicted and on top of all that Chijinda You and Narue were no where to be found. Slamming his fist on the table exclaimed in frustration. It just wasn't like them to just up and disappear like that. If something were to have happen he should've received a notification by now.
When Chijinda didn't return the coming week, the staff thought he might've forgotten about it. 2-3 weeks passed and it was proposed maybe he got himself into some kind of accident or, dreadfully, something worse. Now nearly a month with no contact the Chief can no longer hold his anxiety. Just what the hell happened to Chijinda You and Narue Oriku? Why would they just leave? What benefit would that serve them? The Chief needed answers
"Everyone. Stay here."
"Where are you going."
"To find answers."
"No don't! Did you see that menace? You'll get killed."
"And I'm not letting that deter me." The Chief said as put on his leather jacket.
"At least take a couple of us with you."
"Sorry, but this is something I have to do on my own."
And with that the Chief left the Agency's headquarters driving in his S.U.V. Taking out his smartphone the Chief scrolled through his contacts.
"Chief? You called?"
"Yeah. How's it like with your fiancé?"
"It's fantastic. Glad you asked."
"Yeah, well there's something I need to ask you, both you and Medea."
"And what is that?"
"Chijinda You and Narue Oriku. Have you seen or heard from them recently?"
"No. Why?"
"There's a new super monster menace back here in Japan and we can't find them anywhere."
"And you think their disappearance might be related to this new super monster?"
The Chief sighed.
"It's just too convenient. The design of this new super monster, the Red Fox-
"Who?"
"The Red Fox. That's what he calls himself."
At this the Chief sent Kanda and Medea a photo of the new super menace.
"Oh my. You're right."
"Yeah, see? Aren't the similarities disturbing?"
"What do you want us to do?"
"Kanda, you and Medea were entrusted with the Bee and Mouse Miraculouses, correct?:"
"Yes, but-"
"I'll need one of you to try contact Chijinda You and or Narue Oriku that way."
"Understood."
"Medea. Can you sense your noble Phantasm Rule Breaker?"
"Pfft. That's child's play. I'll just-"
As the Chief drove under a tunnel his smartphone lost connection.
"I can't pin it!"
"Wait. What?"
"This has never happened before."
Oh, this cannot be good.
"You don't think the Red Fox and Chijinda You might be one, do you Chief?"
Turning a curve, the Chief shook his head.
"Let's hope our worst fears aren't realized, Kanda"
Elsewhere in Japan a bipedal red fox with blood streaming down stood in front of a mass of heavily armed SDF members. They never stood a chance. Ripping through them with lightning speed streaks of blood were torn about, their limbs being rendered asunder. As the bodies started to pile up everyone around knew they were but dust. Now, is that a metaphor or simile? Ah, not that it matters.
"You bastards!"
The Red Fox tosses a tank towards the pedestrians.
"This is what you get for scourging her help. You didn't want her and now you'll all die!"
Scream erupted like a beautiful chorus of singing angels. The streets, painted with an elegant crimson pastel, a burgundy color. It suits this morning sky, now does it?
Somewhere nearby a gas station explodes. Turning around the Red Fox was about to rush to the burning gas station when he felt his flute vibrate. Now who could be calling him at this moment? Taking his flute out, the Red Fox turned the knob at the end.
"Chijinda? Are you there? Are you okay?"
"Chijinda is no more. He died a long time ago."
"Wa-Wha"
"Kanda. You have also been a close ally."
"I don't understand. What are you-"
"Take care of Medea. You and her at least deserve some rest."
"Chijinda. You've gotta-"
"Good bye, old friend. The Red Fox has some justice to deliver."
And with that the Red Fox hung up. Now to deal with those ingrates…
"Pollen, Buzz off."
Kanda flipped his cellphone open while shaking his head at Medea.
"He's changed but I don't know how or even why."
Medea darted her eyes. Could it be that this sudden change was tied to her not being able to pinpoint her Noble Phantasm from earlier? And just why couldn't they get a hold of Narue?
"Chief, are you there"
"Yeah I'm here. What is it?"
"Thought I'd let you know I managed to contact Chijinda through the Miraculous."
"You did? What did he say? Where has he been this whole time?!" The Chief was sounding frustrated. "Nevermind that. Are you still connected with him."
"I'm sorry, no. He hung up- er, I mean he stated something about the Red fox having some justice to deliver… uh, and about me and Medea living peacefully. And then he just hung up."
At this the Chief felt silent before he stammered his next question.
"And Narue?"
"Can't get connected with her."
This can't be. Could it be that Chijinda had gone rogue? No, that- that just didn't make sense yet all the evidence was pointing to one thing. Pray tell it wouldn't be. Falling on his knees as if he prayer the Chief continued.
"Kanda. Did Chijinda You by any chance identify himself as Chijinda?"
…
"No."
Elsewhere the Red Fox had just finished dousing himself with gasoline and running up and down the various apartment building causing them to burst on fire. Oh, it was so festive. You should've see it, how the people inside made such joyous noise as they gasped for deliverance from their sorry coils. How their skin glistens! Teehee. It's a masterpiece, don't you think my dear friend?
"No! Stop!"
The Red Fox does not stop, he doesn't hesitate. The 34 year old woman's head is knocked straight off with a solid punch to her nose. Behind her, her child screams before he too is kicked high into the wall, the impact pulverizing every bone in his body. There was no way for him to recover, the impact obviously causing him to die. A teenage girl treds backwards a few steps before she is kicked from behind, her organs rupturing and spilling forth their most inner contents like when a child eagerly hits a piñata for the treat inside. And what a treat it is.
Sirens ring. Hm. Say. I'm getting hungry. How about we go grab something to eat. What do you say? It will be on me.
Oh him? Don't worry, he just needs to let loose a couple of steam, he's stressed, completely out of it you know?
Yeah yeah, well you know what they say. When you keep it bottled up inside for so long, there's only one thing that can remedy this.
That's right my dear friend. Everyone has a breaking point no matter well they think they can control their emotions. The truth is, emotions aren't something you can control nor do they control you. They are simply the states of your mind. Nothing more, nothing less. You can't change from feeling sad to feeling happy just by thinking that you are happy. Thinking does not make it so.
Funny you should ask that but no. That was never my Major.
I just so happened to have a profound interest in studying the human behaviour, or psychology if you will.
Yes, and that's why I'm doing this as a favor. He just doesn't know what he truly wants. And so I will lend him a hand.
Very well. Do you have a place in mind?
A baby is crying in his crib. Stomp. As the Red Fox strides forwards what is left of the infant is smeared across the pavement making a line of intestines. A female toddler tries to crawl away only to find herself being lifted high and thrown headfirst into the brick wall. Splat. Ooh, what a clean shot. An African tourist picks up a child nearby him. It is not his child yet his fears drive him to run off with the child. Lights, going dim. I failed, forgive me the African tourist thinks to himself as he fades from consciousness to the grave. The child gasps for air, thrashing about while being held off her feet. As the Red Fox hold on longer the child begins emitting a high pitch squealing noise, becoming like a whistle. The Red Fox slowly strides towards the nearest building, the people backing away as he does so. Up and up he scales the walls.
"Is there anything that can be done about that monster?"
"Someone, save us!"
"Please don't harm me! I have family" This one falls on her knees sobbing uncontrollably.
"Whatever you want, you can take it!" An elder man yells. "Just please spare our lives!"
Smirking the Red Fox walks to the edge of the rooftop tip holding the child in by the neck in his arm.
"You wish for me to let you all go?:
The crowd fearfully nods.
"All you'll let have anything I want right?"
"Anything! You can take our money, all our possessions. Just please don't-"
"Watch carefully."
With this the child found herself dangingly high up. The crowd grew tense.
"Right now you're all like this little shitstain. A mere nuisance. Now I don't know if I should just ignore you or put you out of your misery."
"No! Don't!" A woman nearby screams as the Red Fox slowly removes all 5 fingers from the child's neck. Air. I need air. Mother. Father. Someone. Help me-
Another death.
"You said you'd give me anything to spare your sorry lot. This is my answer and this is what I want to do to each and every one of you!"
"But you said-"
The Red Fox looks over down below at the man who objected, her eyebrows narrowing. Suddenly the man finds himself being lifted several feet high in the air. It was as if- no! That's impossible! With a slam dunk motion as the Red Fox's hand moved upwards, so did the man who objected and likewise when he brought it back down…
Flying nearby a couple of reporters snapped a few pictures with their cameras from within their helicopters. The Red Fox picked up a few pebbles and started tossing them causing several of the helicopters to spiral out of control and crash though a few were left unscathed.
Back at his home the Chief was looking through the various documents that Chijinda had submitted, There just had to be something that would explain Chijinda's sudden change in identity and perhaps something that could explain the mess they were in.
Now… where is it? Please...tell me this is all a bad dream.
Hm? A paper on the wish of the Miraculous.
Let's see...by combining both the Earrings of the Ladybug and the Ring of the Black Cat along with conducting a certain ritual, whoever does this will be granted one wish in exchange for a sacrifice of equivalent value. Come to think of it, this is what those girls at the Advance Sciences Society wanted to do, right? What was her name again? Mia? Yeah, that's it. She wanted to bring back the Director, Hatsune Miku… But that doesn't add up. The report clearly states that no one died, and I can confirm that for myself. Just how was she able to pull off that wish without an equivalent sacrifice and why did she a free redo over?
…
No, I must be mistaken. There's just no way.
Flipping on the television he saw the latest carnage.
"You said you'd give me anything to spare your sorry lot. This is my answer and this is what I want to do to each and every one of you!"

So.. that's it then. Taking out his smartphone the Chief began dialing,
"Hey Kanda. You there?:
"Yeah, I am. So what did you find?"
"I found Chijinda."
"Wha- whoah! That's awesome!"
"No it's not."
"What do you mean? I'm not following. You said you were looking for him. Said that he hadn't returned for over a month now."
"Yes and now I know the reason why."
"Why's that?"
"Chijinda and the Red Fox are one and the same."
…
"You're pulling my leg."
"No, seriously I'm not."
"Do you honestly expect me to believe that? There is now way Chijinda would-"
"I'll send you proof if you don't believe me."
[You got 1 new Message]
Kanda opens the message.. it is a video sent from his Chief.

Chijinda? Why? How could you do something like this? What has gotten into you? You used to be such a paragon. Where did you go wrong? Kanda thought to himself.
"Is there anything we can do, Chief?"
"I don't know. I want to say there is but right now our odds aren't looking favorable."
Yes, the false sense of peace fades away as the brilliance of a true future marches forwards! One where people are no longer shackled by feelings of self-doubt. What are you doing? This is no time to be sulking about, my dear friend.
Why yes it's wonderful
Allow me to show the beautifies my champion has to offer. This world is stagnant and requires just the right push forwards.
It is as I say. This is wonderful beyond words.
The Chief sobbed.
This is Chijinda You's moment of glory! He's a true hero now!
Aahahaha gwarkahah Mwahahahaha!
