As Mia ran through the streets of Japan, various pedestrians would point and help lead her to the supposed whereabouts of the Red Fox, or as we know, Chijinda. This behavior of his was not of him, it was too alien for Mia to accept.

Hm. Either these people are trying to defend him or- oh! That's right. He has the Fox Miraculous. Well, with my added luck I should be able to find him in no time. Just what happened?

Swinging around on her yo-yo Mia brought the people outside of the burning building. A bystander thanked her and gave her 1 melon bread.

Swinging from building to building using her yo-yo, Mia noted a crowd was beginning to form and follow her. Added to this, every so often when she saved a group of civilians she would receive a random reward. It felt odd. This couldn't be right, she thought to herself. But it would be stupid to turn down these gifts however. Hey… I think I've got an ideal…

The Chief stood puzzled. How could there be someone counteracting the devastation caused by the Red Fox? The reporter on the television continued.

"You have heard it correctly. A mysterious young woman wearing a polka dotted red and black jumpsuit has been seen swinging around on what eye-witnesses describe as a yo-yo of sorts saving various civilians. They say she is looking for the R-"

That was all the Chief needed to hear.

Mia. What are you up to? He wondered. We are enemies- no. That shouldn't matter right now. Yes, she does possess the Earrings of the Ladybug. Perhaps she can help sort this out. Come to think of it, if whatever that has changed Chijinda is what I think it is, we're going to need her cooperation anyways. Now, onto the matter of securing a temporary alliance without attracting the ire of yours truly…

Far off in the distance a sprout of orange appeared and from that leaves of gray. Chijinda must be there, Mia thought to herself as she began to swing towards that direction. If I defeat Chijinda, not only will I get my revenge, but I'll be back on track to my plans of world domination. Yes, Hatsune Miku may be permanently retired but I shall at least carry her legacy. And seeing how making a Miraculous wish is too dangerous, I'll find a work around. Chijinda. You better be ready.

The sweet scent of your blood on my hands gives me immense pleasure just thinking about it. Revenge is a dish that has too long been postponed but now it is your time. Time for you to die.

The Red Fox licked his lips. Blood. Fresh blood. The skin turning to charr, it has the smell of bacon. Supposedly humans taste like bacon. I've never tried it but that's what I've heard. Now what to destroy next?

A couple huddles nearby. They will do. The Red Fox casually strolls towards the glass window of the antiques shop and with a flick of his wrist shatters it. Stepping inside, the man fires his shotgun at the menace. Without batting an eye, the Red Fox slowly walks up, taking the time to savor the look of fear in the man's eyes. With just a simple slap to the face, the man fell to the floor, already dead due to the force of the Red Fox's slap severing his jugular vein. His wife screams.

"Shut-up!" With an intense anger the Red Fox knees her, the result being death. Spitting at their corpses the Red Fox then turned to face a lone child. The child trembles. The Red Fox slowly makes his way to the terrified kid. There's nothing he can do. Outpaced and outmatched, tears streamed down his face as he closed his eyes.

"Get up."

Gasping at the sharp pain in his wrist, the young child stood up and followed the Red Fox, led by his left wrist.

Up, up, up, up, up they went. Now on the fourth landing, the Red Fox directed the child over to the edge. Down below a dumpster laid open surrounded by piles of sharp glass pointed upwards. Hmph! Holding the child over, with a stern face the Red Fox lets go watching the child as he plummeted- !

What was that?!

Halfway before the child could reach the ground, a young red haired lady in a polka-dotted red and black jumpsuit had swung by carrying the child to safety. The Red Fox looked down. A yo-yo had been tied around his right foot.

"Well, well, well. Look who turned coat. What's gotten into you?"

The Red Fox snarled before grabbing the yo-yo's line. With a strong swing he attempted to hurl the intruder away only for her to simply let go while taking aim with her handgun. 3 hits.

"Mia! How dare you."

"How dare I?"

"You- your wish caused all this!"

Mia spat.

"All my wish caused was Miku to come back to life. I had nothing to do with what happened to you."

"Shut-up!"

"Look at yourself. You're a mess. What the hell is wrong with you? All these people? They looked up to you, they trusted you and now you're just going about killing them."

"Hmph! You're no better. You've toyed with people's lives, you disgrace."

"Yes I have, however I will not let that stop me. Now return to us. Return to who you were!"

"Shut-up! You don't know the half of it. You- you're nothing but an eyesore to me!" The Red Fox snarled as he raced towards Mia. "It's your fault! If you hadn't made your stupid wish, none of this would've happened."

"Excuse me? (jumps backwards nearly dodging the Red Fox's strikes) I never wished for this (dodges again). All I wished for was Hatsune Miku's revival."

"Shut-up! Shut-up! Shut-uppp!"

Geez! He just doesn't relent, does he? Looks like I'm going to have to knock some sense back into him.

Boss: The Red Fox; Chijinda You

Roaring the Red Fox lifts his right hand.

A volley of bricks shoots out from the nearby apartment building. Mia nods to herself as she jumps on the bricks and makes a run towards the Red Fox.

Mia dropkicks the Red Fox!

The Red Fox curses.

Another volley of bricks flies outs. Mia dashes on them again.

Hm. He must've been trying something earlier, though it looks like it failed. Looks like my extra luck is coming along nicely.

That's strange, Mia thought. Since when was Chijinda able to make multiple illusions? He obviously has to be using the power of the Fox Miraculous otherwise these illusions shouldn't dissipate as soon as contact is made. Furthermore-

"Whoa!"

Feeling the sudden lack of ground, Mia hurled her yo-yo.

That was a close one, she thought as she pulled herself up on the rooftop.

Another volley of bricks hits Mia behind in the head.

He's getting close to pinning where I am. If I don't act quickly he'll most likely remove my Miraculous before proceeding to kill me. Well I'm not letting myself be done in by some cockroach.

Mia throws her yo-yo high into the air. It's a part of the sequence of using this Miraculous superpower. Obviously the Red Fox sees this and can now more precisely pinpoint Mia's current location. Figuring out the direction she would run towards shortly after would be child's play.

A bracelet? How am I going to beat him with a bracelet? Mia pondered as she ran into an alleyway before using her yo-yo to give herself speed and leverage. I could just pull up another lucky charm but that would give my position away. Hm, come to think of it, where's that oversized brat? Yeah. Where's that… oh no…

A realization came to Mia as her face turned pale. If what I think happened is real, then that could explain why Chijinda turned out like this, Mia thought as she used her yo-yo swing across the various buildings.

"Get back here and face me!" The Red Fox yelled.

Yeah, I think I'm going to pass, Mia thought as she suddenly stumbled backwards upon seeing the Red Fox jump right in front of her. Shit. He's going to grab my Miraculous then kill me, Mia thought to herself.

The Red Fox tackles Mia slamming her into the ground, or rooftop to be more specific.

Fighting him now is still too dangerous, Mia noted as she swung herself towards the streets throwing 3 primed smoke grenades as she did so. Hm. This apartment building will do nicely. Doubt he would expect I would run inside for cover.

Mia opened the locked steel door like how you would open a normal unlocked door, and in the process she broke the lock. The door was still good however so she closed it behind. Now, even though the Miraculous suits do enhance the wearer's normal physical stats, they do not provide any advantage to distinguishing similar sounds, and since the people of Japan were quite reckless to still go outside, it means Mia had plenty of vocal cover as well.

I have to come up with something and fast, Mia thought to herself as she spoke into her yo-yo. 3 seconds later a large vertical spool of light appeared.. Time to make my exit, Mia thought to herself as she hopped into the portal.

Miawa Totsetemo has fled the battle.

"Mia! Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. Thanks for saving me, Erika."

"So-"

"It's true. He really has changed."

"I see."

"I don't know what's gotten into him but if my hunch is correct-"

Mia's yo-yo started flashing. Someone was calling her.

"Are you there, Mia?"

"Who is this?"

"Someone who knows all about your criminal organization all to well."

"And what do you want? To join? Sorry but opening positions have closed off a long time ago."

"That's alright. I hear you're having trouble with that Fox Miraculous holder and I have just the person who can help you."

"And why should I trust you?"

"Because you can always flee if you want to. You do have the Horse Miraculous, yes? Either you or Erika has it. Either way, there's no way we could take you in, and besides, it's not as though you would let us remove your Miraculous."

"You damn sure are right. No way would I ever be so stupid to let that happen, in fact, we might as well not meet up."

Silence

"Tell you what, you pick a place and time to meet up, teleport us there on your own terms and if we step out of line, feel free to cataclysm all of us."

These people… this Miraculous holder definitely knows about us and Chijinda, but he doesn't sound like that one freak. Could he be an ally of Chijinda? But since it sounds like he's trying to make a bargain with me…

Nodding to Erika we ran outside our temporary hideout down 3 blocks until I found the place I was looking for.

"Alright. Give us your locations."

5 seconds later a pair of coordinates were displayed on the monitor screen inside Mia's yo-yo. Erika closed her eyes as a portal emerged and out stepped a man wearing a blue tuxedo.

"Ah, the Golden Arches? Can't say I'm loving it, what with what's going on with one of my top agents who I believe you know quite well."

"Spare me. How can someone like you help me?"

"Yeah. Why shouldn't I just kill you right now?" Erika chimed in.

"Because I can give you all the information you need to know about the Red Fox." the man in the blue tuxedo answered. "I'm taking a risk calling out for your help."

"You speak as if you know him. Who are you exactly?" Mia inquired.

"I'm his employer. You may call me Chief."

"Yeah, well you're not my chief."

"Suit yourself. Now I will like to propose a temporary alliance. Obviously Chijinda You is currently at an advantage compared to you. He's gone made, berserk, rogue."

"Heh. Should've selected your agents a lot better then." Erika smirked

"Yeah well what's happened happens. As a regular human being I can't hope to do anything to stop him."

"And you want me to stop him? Yeah right. He nearly took my Miraculous several times, speaking of which, where's yours?" Mia raised her eyebrows.

"I don't have one. That was another one of my subordinates you were talking to earlier," the Chief explained, "I believe I know what caused Chijinda's sudden change in personality and I can take you there."

Mia scratched her ears.

"Please. I don't know who else to turn to. You're my- our own hope right now."

Mia darted her eyes left and right.

"Just return him back to normal will you?"

Erika rolled her eyes.

"You do this and I'll do whatever I can to clear your names."

"Playing the system are we? You know my friend there could just kill you."

The Chief nodded.

"But since you're so desperate, why don't you prostrate yourself before me?" Mia taunted.

Oh my. He actually did it.

"You understand I might have to kill this agent of yours right?"

Silence.

"Alright. Tell us where we can find what changed Chijinda." Mia demanded.

Standing up the Chief motioned in sign language a pair of coordinates.

"Erika. Take us there."

"Right."

Throwing a fist to the air, Erika created another portal and the 3 of them ran through.

The breeze grew silent. 25 meters ahead of them laid the body of a 73.04 meter tall giantess. Mia gagged. The stench was horrendous.

"It's as I expected." The Chief sad turning his head.

"No way… Narue's dead?" Erika said in amazement.

"He loved her very much and now that she's dead, his mind has gone to the gutter," the Chief said dejectedly.

Mia took a few steps forwards.

"What are you planning to do?" the Chief asked.

"The only thing I can do (closes her eyes before opening them a brief second later). Hopefully this is covered. Everyone. Be ready."

Taking the bracelet she received from her lucky charm earlier, Mia tossed it high into the air.

"Miraculous Ladybird!"
