When Naruto woke up, it was already 6.30, he had a training session planned with Jiraiya at 7, so he quickly took a bath, had some breakfast, then left his apartment with excitement brimming from him, after writing a quick note on where he was going and that there was breakfast in the fridge and passing it under Kushina's door, he quickly made his way to the training field thinking about who his summons will be. He decided to take his time reaching the training field since he was already half an hour late, few more minutes won't matter.

By the time he reached the field he could see Jiraiya writing on a notepad while Minato was doing some physical exercises.

"What are you doing here?" Minato snapped, his glare coming back as soon as he spoted Naruto.

"You are late Naruto" Jiraiya yelled "I asked you to come at 7, it's already 7.30, where were you? "

Taking a page out of his former sensei's book, Naruto eyes smiled and replied "I got lost on the road of life". The answer had Jiraiya's eyebrows twitching in anger while Minato's glare just intensified.

"Enough about me, Now why don't you introduce yourself" Naruto asked with the eye smile still on his face.

"I should be telling that to you! " Jiraiya yelled, but then calmed down quickly.

" What is he doing here sensei? "Minato asked again.

" Erosensei asked me to be his apprentice " Naruto explained, still not understanding his hostility towards him.

" Don't call me that brat" Jiraiya yelled again, he seems to be doing that alot.

"Anyway, since he scored a perfect score and even Sandaime seems to be impressed by him, I decided to offer him my apprentice so I can pass on my teachings".

" So anyways, what are you going to teach me" Naruto asked, finally ready to learn something useful from Jiraiya.

" I am a great hand to hand fighter, a ninjutsu specialist, can summon toads, master at spying, sabotage, information gathering, and as such i can teach you many thing." Jiraiya boasted, "You two probably know each other, but still introctions never hurt." Jiraiya continued.

"OK, I'll go first, My Name in Naruto Uzumaki, my likes are ramen, training, and creating new seals and jutsu's, I don't really have many dislikes, and my dream... that's personal"

"My name is Minato Namikaze, my likes and dislikes are none of your concerns, but my dream is to one day become the hokage"

"You two have lots in common it seems, that's why Minato didn't say his likes, dislikes or hobbies, he probably got shy"

"Sensei!!!" Minato yelled with a blush on his face.

"Anyways, what was that technique you used in the exams, rasengan, I think its name was." Jiraiya enquired "I have never seen it before"

"Oh this?" Naruto replied as he bought his hand out, palm facing upwards and created a spinning ball of chakra. Both Jiraiya and Minato looked on in amazement.

"I created this when I was 10, but just recently perfected it" Naruto lied "It was supposed to be a gift for Kushina as she always had trouble with hand signs and chakra control, but I never got a chance to teach it to her"

"That's amazing" Jiraiya replied in amazement "Can you teach it to me"

"Well, what can you offer me in return? " Naruto asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Meaning, I can't just give you a technique which I created from scratch and then when you use it in battle, let you take all the glory for creating it, without something in return, now can I, I am just not that charitable you see. So, what can you give me in return "

" I can let you sign the toad summoning contract, Minato has already signed, so can you".

"Well that's just not as unique as only me having it, is it? Plus, I won't be needing any more summons."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Minato questioned .

" It means, I will be getting a summon soon, so I don't need it" Naruto explained.

" But I can still teach it to you if you want, the Rasengan, I mean" Naruto offered, but Minato quickly shot it down "I don't want your charity, I can create that technique myself" Minato sneered.

"What is your problem?" Naruto finally had enough of Minato's bitching, " You have been acting very hostile towards me from that incident yesterday, Is it because I scored so much higher than you or is it because you wanted to be Jiraiya's only pupil?", He tried to guess because other than that he didn't find any other reason for him to be angry.

Minato now looked hysterical, but as he was about to answer Jiraiya finally steped in.

" That's enough, both of you, I will not tolerate my pupils fighting among themselves or I wont be teach any of you", Jiraiya scolded.

Naruto turned around and thought for a while, then came to a conclusion.

"I don't want to be your apprentice" Naruto finally spoke, Jiraiya seemed shocked to hear that," It is clear to me that Minato doesn't want me here and i can't trust a teammate like that" Jiraiya tried to interject but Naruto continued,

" Besides, there is nothing new that you can teach me, I have already read more than 100 books on the art of subterfuge, sabotage, spying and all the other subtle arts of being a ninja. I am an Uchiha and as soon as I unlock my sharingan, ninjutsu too will not be a problem for me, there is nothing that you can teach me, I am sorry, but that's true" Naruto explained while turning to leave, It was hard to reject his former godfather but he thought this was the right thing to do. "It's better this way, for both of us" The last part was said facing away from them, leaving it to them for their own interpretation.

After Naruto left, Jiraiya looked at Minato in disappointment, "I expected better from you Minato", Minato just looked down in shame.

"What is your problem with him anyways, he doesn't seem that unlikable to me", Jiraiya inquired and Minato finally explained his love problems to Jiraiya.

Meanwhile, Naruto had come to an empty training ground wondering if he had made a right decision, 'It can't be helped now, what's done is done, I must move forward' Naruto thought.

Remembering that he still had the summoning scrolls from before, he quickly unsealed them and layed them on the ground.

'Now which one to pick first' Naruto thought while looking at the scrolls, he decided to use the smaller scrolls first and sealed back the bigger one. As he had already signed both the contracts, he didn't know what would happen if he used summoning jutsu now, would both of the summons appear or will neither, so he thought it would be better to just use reverse summon using the scroll. After using the required hand signs and placing his hands on the scroll, there was a sudden pop and he dissappeared into thin air along with the scroll.

Appearing into a forest , Naruto looked around to see he if recognized it, not finding it familiar, he decided to search who the summons were that lived here. After roaming around for some time he came into an open field and immediately knew that he was being watched but he decided to move forward towards the rock formations in the distance as he could make out some figures there. As he reached closer to it, he immediately stopped as he heared a voice speak to him, "How have you come here human, this is an protected territory, leave immediately or you will be killed". Naruto looked around but couldn't see nor sense anyone nearby, Naruto quickly showed the scroll around which he had used to reverse summon himself here and answered " I came here using this summoning scroll".

Then from his shadow, a large black wolf leaped out scaring the living hell out of Naruto and causing him to drop the scroll.

The wolf sniffed the scroll then looked Naruto in the eyes, it was around 8 feet in length and was as tall as Naruto, it had red eyes which seemed to glow as he spoke in a gruff voice.

"Looks like you are our new potential summoner, come follow me" He then howled, suddenly many other similar looking wolves leaped out of the shadow and started to walk towards the tree.

As they were walking, Naruto introduced himself "I am Naruto, a ninja of the leaf village", the wolf kept walking but answered to his introduction "My name is Kuro, I am the leader of the shadow wolves pack, and this forest is our territory, we call it Ōkami no hinansho (Wolf haven)".

Soon they reached the rock formations, which were actually caves and dens with several wolves, of many size and color living in them.

Most of the bigger wolves just ignored him, while the little pups, while curious, didn't leave their mother's side.

"We wolves live in packs and most outsiders are not entertained here. If the elder wolves accepts you and welcomes you in our clan, only then will others interact with you". Kuro explained while the he led him to the biggest cave in the area.

There he met 5 wolves, all of them were different in colour, they seemed to sleeping in their corners of the den, each of them were as big as a mountain but the cave from outside didn't seem big enough to house such great beasts as he turned around to ask Kuro how this was possible but he seemed to already have dissappeared with out a sound.

As he walked forward near the centre of the den, he could see 2 pups playing with each other, since none of the bigger wolves had even opened their eyes yet he decided it was safe to go near them. As the pups noticed him they immediately stopped playing with each other and ran towards him in a cute and wobbly way that only a baby animal could do. He couldn't resist their cuteness and immediately sat down to play them, the brown pup seemed to be the male while the grey a female. The grey one leaped at his face and started sniffing and licking him while the brown one seemed to have gotten hold of his pants and was now chewing on it. He played with them for a little while then sat them down and decided to do what he was here to do.

"Great elders, I have come here to seek help from you and in doing so, be your new summoner" Naruto spoke in a respectful way.

The red one finally opened its eyes and spoke in a deep voice "And why should we help you, what will you offer us in return? "

"I'll offer you my loyalty, there is nothing else I can offer to a great being such as yourselves" Naruto replied, trying to appease the wolf's ego.

"I have no need of your loyal-" He was interrupted before he could continue, "What about treats, can you offer us yummy treats?"

Naruto looked down in suprise seeing the small brown pup speak in a squeaky voice, who until now was chewing on the bottom of his trousers, "and toys too!!" shouted the grey pup, who was now trying to climb up his body.

Naruto bent down and patted them on their heads and scratched behind their ears, then smiling he answered, " sure why not, I'll offer lots and lots of treats and toys". The pups made happy nosies then quickly jumped back from him "OK then, we accept you in our clan" The brown pup barked.

"Thank you, elderwolfves, I am in you debt" Naruto replied with a quick nod to the puppies.

"What do you mean elderwolves, we are the elder wolves?" the red wolf asked, by now every other wolves had stopped their act of sleeping and were staring intently at Naruto, while the two pups just stared at him in surprise.

"While you may be big, it doesn't always translate to being elder" Naruto answered.

The grey pup spoke in an older women type voice "so what gave us away? ", the brown one continued "yes, our acting was spot on and we were sure we had fooled you".

"It wasn't what you did that tipped me off, it was just this setting. The first thing that crossed my mind when I saw the both of you was 'what are they both doing playing alone in here, with 5 big wolves around that could harm them without even meaning to' the next was 'they must be special, and required proper attention' and I was fooled into believing that, when I was playing with you, I didn't suspect a thing, I really believed you were just 2 cute little pups, it was only when you interrupted the red wolf and he didn't admonish or seem angry at being interrupted that I knew something was up and that bought me to the conclusion that you two are the elders, not these fives " Naruto explained.

"Very impressive " the female pup stated" but we were not playing with you, we were checking your Chakra, reading your emotions and deciding were you worthy enough to be our summoner" The brown pup continued "And it appears that you are worthy of being our summoner" as he said that his body started to grow and soon he was even bigger that the 5 other wolves "welcome to our pack!!!" the elderwolf exclaimed, then with the tip of his claw, which was as big as Naruto's arm, he poked Naruto on his right upper wrist where soon a tattoo of a howling wolf appeared, with that done he howled and every other wolf in the den howled with him.

" We have a new summoner, this calls for a celebration, let the party begin" again he howled and the others howled with him.

The wolves sure knew how to party, the celebration lasted for 2 days during which Naruto was introduced to everyone as the new member of the clan.

"Don't be a stranger Naruto, visit us when you can, summon us when you want but always keep treats and toys at hand or we will be very mad when you summon us" The brownelder, riku, who was now a pup again orderd/threatened.

"Sure I'll keep that in mind, and thank you for the party I really enjoyed it" Naruto thanked with a happy smile on his face.

"Don't thank us pup!!! , we are a pack now." Riku barked.

"Be seeing you pup"

"Be seeing you too, riku and tell Lia too."

With that Naruto used reverse summon and poped back to Konoha, in the training ground, where he had used the summoning from.

"Man they are all quite a bunch" Naruto exclaimed, while thinking back to his wolf summons "But i loved them".

It was still afternoon so he decided to head back home and take a little rest, he had partied way too much anyways.

As he entered his apartment, he saw that Kushina and Mikoto were both siting on his sofa and discussing something.

"I see you have made yourself home" Naruto spoke in a deadpan voice.

"Naruto!!" both of them exclaimed, "where were you, we were worried sick" Mikoto asked in a worried tone, 'weird, why would she worry about me so much' Naruto thought but decided to answer them.

"What do you mean, I was just gone for 2 days"

"2 days?, it's been 5 days since you disappeared" Kushina exclaimed as she came close to hug him but stopped and quickly moved away, with fingers on her nose.

"And why do you smell like wet dogs".

"I got new summons" was all he answered as he raised his hand to smell his armpits, God's he stinked.

"What!, Who are they?" Kushina asked excited to know more.

"I'll tell you all about it later, I should really take a shower first" with that Naruto moved to his bedroom, took some clothes and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

As the sound of running water hit their ears, Mikoto whispered quitely "Should we take a peek?".

"No!!" Kushina screamed and dragged her out of the room.

Later that day, Naruto explained that he had got into summoning contract with the wolves and they had thrown him a party, that was why he stinked, since he hadn't taken bath in 2 days. Kushina and Mikoto then told him what had happened in his absence. Apparently, Jiraiya and Minato had left on a training trip around the fire nation and both of them had chosen their sensei, it was Sakumo Hatake.

Naruto was pleasantly surprised at that.

"Sakumo, is a great ninja, both of you will learn well under his tutelage, I am just surprised that he agreed, isn't he expecting a baby soon"

"Yes, it was sandaime himself who suggested us to him" Kushina answered. "he is being given a team, because he is expecting a baby, this will help him stay close to his family" Mikoto explained.

" You two have been joined to the hip since the incident, did you two find something common to bond over" Naruto asked in a teasing way "I bet it's kenjutsu, you two do seem the type to like that"

Both the girls blushed deep red, not wanting him to know that their common interest was him, they quickly changed the subject.

"Hadn't Jiraiya taken you as his apprentice, that's what you said in that little paper you passed under my door" Kushina inquired, changing the subject.

"It didn't work out, but lucky for him he got Minato, he is a good kid, weird, but good. He seems to hate my guts though, don't know why, my guess is that I scored better in exam than him and he is jealous of that, there just couldn't be any other reason than that."

Kushina and Mikoto looked at each other and nodded slowly " Yeah, that must be the reason, he seems like the jealous type to me too" Kushina said looking disgusted.

Naruto just frowned looking at her 'wasn't she supposed to be in love with him by now, why is she so readily badmouthing him?'

"Look Kushina, he may be a dick to me, but that's not a good enough reason to badmouth him behind his back" Naruto defended him "plus he is a fellow Shinobi, you shouldn't do that".

"Ya Kushina, jeez" Mikoto agreed with him,

"Anyway my father has asked you to meet him, it can't wait any longer, I am to bring you with me" Mikoto continued.

Kushina remembered her conversation with Mikoto from 'that' night, about how her father wanted her to marry Naruto, and widened her eyes, their deal was that they won't say anything to Naruto, it didn't say anything about others suggesting it to him.

'Sly girl Mikoto, using her father to get what she wants, but I won't let her win'

"I'll come too, i have never visited the Uchiha compound before" Kushina added with a smirk pointing at Mikoto.

"Sure, lets go, I have been postponing this for a while now" Naruto said as he walked out.

It was late afternoon by the time they reached the main house, the Uchiha seem to be staring at Naruto and Kushina, some in disgust, some in wonder while some just ignored them completely. They entered a moderately big house with many servants.

"Father, I have bought him" Mikoto announced to her father.

"Bring him in" was his reply.

Entering the office place of the house, the three of them quitely took a seat when Kagami motioned them to.

"So you finally have time to come visit us" Kagami asked.

"Sorry, but I was a little busy will all the hospital checkups, the training, the exams, the kidnappings and such."

"Aah, yes, I must thank you for rescuing my daughter and her young friend from those Shinobis."

"Well I didn't do much, it was mostly Minato and Kushina who helped her, I heard she even activated her sharingan"

"Congratulations on that by the way" Naruto looked towards Mikoto who was sitting to his right, she just nodded shyly.

"Yes, speaking of the sharingan, when is yours gonna activate?" He asked in serious manner " you are already 13, if it doesn't activate soon, you probably won't activate it later"

"Who's to say I haven't activated it already?" Naruto replied in challenging manner.

"Have you?" Kagami questioned

"Who knows?" Naruto replied with a shrug.

"Is this why you called me all the way here for, I could have just sent a message with Mikoto about it".

"No, that is one of the topic that I wanted to discuss and now that I know you have activated it, I don't need to be concern about it any more".

Mikoto and Kushina both widened their eyes and looked towards Naruto, who didn't even blink at the piece of information.

"I never said I activated it" He insisted with a straight face.

"It doesn't matter, I now know for sure that you have"

Naruto sighed after few tense seconds "what gave it away?, I never activated it in front of anyone so there was no way for you to know"

"Why don't you guess it, I want to see if you are as good as they all say you are."

Naruto close his eyes for a moment and then reopened them, answering,

"You just assumed that I had already activated it and waited for me to deny it, but my poker face gave it away? "

" Correct, we Uchiha show lesser emotions when we are under stress after activating the sharingan, even if you could fake those emotions you would require a split second to to trigger them, which is more than enough time for someone with trained eyes to read it and you never even batted an eyelash so it was easy for me to deduce that you had the sharingan"

"I didn't know about such a thing" Naruto answered.

"Well, most people don't, and we make it a point not to blab it to anyone" He said the last part while staring at Mikoto and Kushina, a silent, keep quite, to them.

"Now moving on to the next part" Kagami started "You still introduce yourself to people as only an Uzumaki, not an Uchiha. We can't have that, you understand why right?" Kagami asked, once again letting Naruto reach the conclusion who just nodded after few seconds.

"It reflects badly on your clan, a talented Shinobi not using the clans name, even after being affiliated with it, it raises unwanted questions in people's mind which would be bad for the clan".

"You are very good Naruto, your knowledge and intelligence is far above your age, Now you must have already figured out my next que-" Naruto didn't let him finish.

"No" Naruto gave a final answer.

"Naruto, atleast let him ask you the question before you deny it" Kushina tried to make him understand.

"Don't fret, young girl, he probably already figured out my next three questions and just gave me a final answer" Kagami seemed really impressed by the young man,

"But it doesn't matter his answer will change soon"

"It will not" Naruto responded.

"We are completely out of loop, can you please fill us in?" Mikoto asked, first to Naruto but when he didn't answer she looked towards her father.

Her father just sighed, but still answered " the next question was 'will you like to become the next clan head?' the answer was 'no' because that'd mean him marrying Mikoto, I guess he has no problem with that but he wants her to have a choice in this matter, I already know her answer, so does he but he just doesn't want to accept it. My next question will give answer to that question too", he continued "now the next question was 'do you know what will happen after you marry Mikoto' and the answer he got to was... "Kagami quited down motioning Naruto to answer.

After few seconds of silence, Naruto finally replied " If I became the clan head I'll have to forsake my Uzumaki name, but I won't do that, not after all that Uzu and it's people have done for me, I have much more duty to Uzu than to the Uchiha clan. "

"And now the final question" By now Mikoto and Kushina were looking at Naruto like he had grown an extra head, both were amazed that he could answer 3 unasked questions within few seconds but couldn't figure out their feeling for him, which even Kagami had figured out after only meeting Kushina twice.

"What happens if Mikoto marries that fool Fugaku? "Mikoto looked surprised at her father, guess she wasn't the only one who disliked him.

"Massacre" Naruto replied in a Grimm voice, he didn't need his vast knowledge to figure that one out, he had already lived through it 'The Uchiha massacre'.

"Explain it to them, it took me a some time to figure it all out but you being so intelligent, it took you only few seconds"

"There is no need for that" Naruto replied.

"Explain" Kagami repeated again, forcefully this time.

Again after few seconds of tense silence, Naruto finally spoke "If Mikoto marries Fugaku then he will be the new clan head, but only in name since his parents and the clan elders will have complete control over him, it is a well known fact in the clan that he supports all the decisions made by the elders. They will further alienate themselves from the village than they already have, causing tension between them and the village. This will cause the village to slowly strip them from their power causing further tension. They will only have 2 options left with them by then, either leave the village, which will cause them to be hunted down and killed, or, attempt a coup and usurp the control from the reigning hokage"

"And" Kagami said, telling him to continue

"And, it will end in a massacre anyways, if the Uchiha lose, they will all be wiped out and even if they win, it will cause a civil war in the village, which will cause other nations to interfere, either way it would end with distruction of Konoha and/or cause another great war. But if in any case I were to marry Mikoto, I would be the bridge between the people of Konoha and Uchiha clan, repairing their strangled connection and if I were to be hokage, which I am sure I will be offered to be, it will bring Uchiha back to their former glory" Naruto explained, by now Mikoto and Kushina were both staring at him with their mouths agape, they always knew that he was intelligent but this was even beyond their wildest imagination.

"Excellent, truly excellent, such intelligence at such a young age, it is unheard of. I was ready to settle for Fugaku and hope for the best but now that I know about you, I will not rest until you marry my daughter and become the clan head, I'll even let you marry Kushina to let you keep your Uzumaki heritage intact." Kagami offered.

"It would be unfair for both of them, they both deserve a man that can love them individually, they will just be sharing me and that is something I don't want for either of them" Naruto explained.

"But that is your opinion, have you asked them their opinion in this matter?" Kagami asked.

"Look, no girl would want to share their love with another girl." Naruto tried to explain.

Kushina and Mikoto looked at one another and had a silent conversation, finally they both nodded.

"We are ready to share" they said at the same time.

Naruto looked at them in surprise, he had definitely not expected this, "You are just telling that because old man here made you look at one of the worst possible future outcome, It is possible that none of that even happens" Naruto tried to reason with them.

"Naruto", Kushina started, "I have always liked you, ever since we were little, I had hoped that in the future you would propose me or at least till then I'll have the courage to confess to you myself but recent events have forced me to reconsider. I am willing to share you if I get to spend the rest of my life with you." Kushina explained.

" Me too Naruto, ever since I met you I was always attracted to you, your kindness and selfless attitude just made me fall in love with you more. So if I get to spend my life with someone like you, why should I waste it with that prick Fugaku". Mikoto tried to continue but Naruto stopped her.

"Stop it" Naruto spoke "stop this, both of you Kushina" He said looking at Kushina " I am the only boy you have really interacted so much with since your childhood, you dont have much experience with other boys or how nice and thoughtful they can be, the only example you have is me and Mikoto we have only known each other for few months, what you are experiencing is not love, it's just your teenage hormones acting up, same with you Kushina". Naruto tried to reason with them.

"We have decided Naruto, you can't change our minds now" they explained.

"How about this" Naruto started, trying a different approach, "we are still 13 years old, by the time we reach 17 if you still feel same about me, I won't deny your love, but, during these years you have to keep yourself open for love and atleast give a chance to other boys, is that acceptable?" they both thought for few seconds then nodded, looking at Kagami, he spoke.

"And for the Uchiha clan, I guess, if I become the hokage and mend the clan's ties with the village myself, then none of this would be necessary". He looked around and observed everyones expressions, Kushina and Mikoto looked happy while Kagami was still not sold on the last Idea but he wasn't denying it either.

"Are these conditions satisfactory?"

All of them nodded, "Now excuse me, I have to meet someone before she leaves the office" with that said, he quickly got up and rushed outside in the direction of the hospital.

" I thought he would have ran out the moment we confessed" Kushina giggled

"I thought his head would explode from embarrassment, with how red he had become" Mikoto added, while Kagami just sat in his chair with a satisfied smile on his face.

It was evening when Naruto reached the hospital, he quickly made his way to the office he wanted to go.

After knocking it once and entering it, he asked " Does your offer to teach me still stands", the figure nodded.

"Then, I want to be your apprentice! " Naruto exclaimed.

" We will start from tomorrow morning."

Hello guys, first of all I'd like to thank you all for your support so far, it really motivates me to write more for all of you.

Second, many of you have expressed extreme dislike towards me trying to ship Minato and Kushina, even for a little while. Let me assure you that I too don't want to ship them together but it will provide major character development for Minato, Naruto and Kushina.

The relationship will not even be shown, it would be starting and ending during a time-skip. Its purely for plot development.

So please, bear with me, I am sure you won't be dissappointed, anyway, please leave your thoughts on the chapter.
