A yawn escaped Dante as he fell for what felt like hours now. "Man, at this rate I'll be late for the party."

Relief soon came in the form of a floor. As he landed in the middle of a room, the first thing he noticed was the smell; the putrid stench of rotting meat hit him like a freight train. He quickly realized that he was at some form of a disposal site. "Those are definitely human bones, shit, I hope none were Briallan." He began to look for an exit.

For several minutes there was nothing, except for the sound of his boots squishing against the rotting flesh. "There's got to be a way out." Dante hopped over a large mound of flesh, before he saw the ceiling opening up and something dropped down.

Making a break for it, he saw what was dropped, several limbs of what used to be a human, but what was most strange was that most of the parts appeared to be male. "Guess they eat the males that tagged along."

Suddenly the ground began to rumble as a giant mound of flesh moved and stood up. "Shit..." The mound turned to face Dante. "Flesh Gollums." The Flesh Gollum towered over Dante; a giant head with glowing eyes of false life stared down at him. "If you're here that only means-" a screech similar to nails on a chalkboard interrupted him "-Meat Puppets... Great..."

The Meat Puppets came in various shapes and sizes, most having extra limbs, some crawling on all fours or walking up right, but they had two things in common, an exposed chest cavity and the same glowing eyes of false life.

The biggest one was clearly in charge. It stood up right and looked like it had armor on, but it didn't have a jaw and had an extremely long tongue hanging out. "Kill! Intruder!"

"Time for the cleanup crew." He pulled out his shotgun, Coyote-A, and went gunslinger style. He launched forward, blasting any foe in his way where he stopped. Swinging his shotgun like a pair of nunchucks, he blasted any puppets that got around him. Quickly grabbing his sword, Rebellion, and lifting a few of his enemies into the air, along with himself, he sliced and diced them before delivering a powerful downward swing, having them crash back to the ground.

Pulling out Ebony and Ivey, he flipped over and rain led down in a small circle. Landing, he quickly changed styles to trickster and seemingly teleported to the leader, who was hanging back. "Your turn!" he said and let loose a fury of stingers. Rebellion stabbed into the leader several times before he sent him flying. The leader got up and yelled out, "Gollum!"

The deep roar of the walking mound shook the room as Dante dodged a giant fist. Switching targets, he teleported up to the giant's shoulder. "There should be... Ah there it is!" He jumped off the Gollum and saw his target, a weak point on its back. He sent several overdrive slashes at it. Blades of red energy cut into the rotting flesh, opening it up to an attack. Dante changed his blade and charged into the weak point at ludicrous speed. He went completely through it and the Gollum fell, shaking the room once more.

Dante rested his sword on his shoulder and looked at the leader with a smirk. "So who's next?" All around him the other puppets stepped back in fear.

The leader quickly grabbed the closest puppet and threw him to Dante. "Kill!"

Dante stared at the puppet then back at the leader and let out a sigh, unimpressed by what he saw. He suddenly appeared in front of the leader and sliced him in two. "Party's over, kiddos. Show me the exit." The remaining puppets just pointed to the covered hole in the ceiling. Dante nodded and jumped up to the hole.

After a quick moment, he kicked open the hatch; a scream and a crash was heard soon after. Popping his head up, Dante saw an imp on top of a destroyed table covered in human remains. It saw Dante and quickly got out of there as it didn't get paid enough for this.

Dante hopped out of the hole and saw that he was in a kitchen of some sort. Walking out where the imp escaped to, he saw a large mess hall that was strangely empty, not even the imp he saw earlier was here, but all of the tables were filled with food. He walked up to one of the many large tables; the food looked delicious. Ribeye steak with sauce and garnish, various sizes of birds, and many slices of ham and other pork. Dante put a hand over the food; heat radiated strongly from it, as if it was freshly made. "Now why would you leave all this fresh food without so much as a bite?" Something wasn't adding up, human food in a demon layer, fresh and untouched, and the real kicker, all of it was a form of meat, no greens, no bread or any grain foods, and worst of all, no desserts. "I best get going, victory food can wait." Dante began to walk to the exit. He was about three feet away from the door before they suddenly shut on him. He sighed and pulled out Ebony and Ivey. "Alright, who's getting... there... ass... kicked...?" He turned and saw a very large, and very angry, Glutton Demon. "Should have known one of you guys was behind it." The Demon was almost as tall as the ceiling, had pale skin, and four strong arms, one of which was holding a large bearded ax. It also had a mouthless face and a large grotesque belly with teeth jetting out all across its midsection.

"Man, you guys get uglier and uglier every time I see you."

The Demon roared and swung its mighty ax at him; a giant dust cloud formed.

"Man, you guys are even slower than last time," Dante called out as he sat on a dilapidated table on the other side of the demon. All of the food was gone.

The Demon swung again, more dust kicked up, and the table was completely destroyed. "Man, you almost got me," Dante said as he was on the Demon's shoulder. He shaded his eyes. "I think you need to be a bit faster." The Demon swatted at his shoulder, hitting his face in the process.

Dante was back on the ground, slightly shaking his head. "Man, and I thought pride demons were stupid."

The Glutton Demon roared once more, grabbing a nearby table. Its mouth on its belly opened up and he shoved the table down. The mouth greedily ate the table, not a drop was missed.

"Man, I'm pretty sure fiber is the last thing you need." Dante opened fire upon the walking eating disorder.

The Demon swung its ax again, mainly to keep Dante away until it finished eating. Once the table was no more, a belch shook the room and the demon swung its ax, this time much faster. Dante ducked under the attack and dashed forward. He started swinging at the Demon's legs.

He jumped back, deflecting the stomach's tongue. "Ah, forgot you had those." He pulled out Coyote-A and shot at the tongue when it tried to grab him. The Demon roared and staggered back. "Guess you're lead-tose intolerant?" Dante smirked, before he was launched into the wall by a table. "So don't like puns, huh?" He grunted as pulled himself out of the wall. The Demon ate another table, belching with vigor. "Delightful..." Dante grimaced and opened fire again.

The Glutton's stomach tongue lashed out again, trying to grab him and eat him. Dante deflected the tongue and pinned it down with Rebellion. He quickly rushed to the open stomach, charging up Coyote-A along the way. Once he reached the mouth, he stuffed a fully charged shotgun in the stomach and fired.

The Glutton Demon was launched into the far wall, shaking the room as he landed. It roared as it tried to get up, before Dante appeared on top of its chest with his own rocket launcher. "Down the hatch!" Charging as much demonic energy into his launcher, he jumped up and fired himself into the air.

The resulting explosion left a small mushroom cloud where the demon's head was. It slowly faded away into dust as Dante landed with his back to it. "I lost enough time as is, can't let the kid and Lady have all the fun." Without looking back, he left the room and ran down the hall until it hit a T-junction.

"Ah shit..." He looked both directions before using a foolproof method. Eenie meenie miney mo. "Eenie meenie miney- it's right." He then went down said hallway.

After some time, and some minor second guessing, Dante reached the coliseum's VIP box. But he wasn't alone. There leaning against the wall was the Courtesan, watching as Roszen received her Hell Tiger Queen Devil Arm and slicing apart the Doctor. "Soon..." she forced out.

Before Dante could do anything, the Courtesan saw him and disappeared into flames. "Damnit..."

Dante waited for his companions' response as they ran down the hall. "Well, what do you think?" He left the part out about the Courtesan watching them.

"I've heard worst stories," Roszen said, looking at him strangely. She could tell he omitted something, but just couldn't tell what.

"You choose the wrong direction, Mister Dante," Krex spoke up. "If you went left, you'd probably be there by now."

Dante let out a sigh of frustration. "I knew it!"

They soon came to a four way path, stopping and looking down either hallway. "Which way, Krex?" Roszen asked.

Krex put up his hand to point, but stopped as everyone heard fast footsteps approaching them. Looking down the hallway to their right, the footsteps became faster and louder. The low light wouldn't let them see their assailant before it got too close.

The footsteps suddenly stopped and out of the dark a blinding fast object came flying towards them, more specifically at Roszen. An armored hand latched onto Roszen's face. Everyone saw who it was, for a split moment, before it bolted to the left hallway, just as fast as it came. The Courtesan had grabbed Roszen.

Before Dante and Lady could do anything, a horde of demons came down every corridor, cutting them off.
