"That's what we're trying to find out. Has Japan finally receded back to its Imperial roots?"
The tv screen turned off. Erika placed the remote on the light brown coffee table. Nearby Mia tapped her fingers as she reviewed the reports of their latest mission. There was just so much to do. With all the community support they had been getting, they needed to find a way to organize their supporters and manage funding.
Yes! They were so close, she could taste it, Mia sweared. If I can't get the world to give me back what they took from me, then I'll just make the world want to worship my feet instead. And with all this superheroing business this is easier then ever before. Ohohoho! Now. To see which of one should be promoted to financial officer, hm?
"Mia. I think you should take a look at this."
"What is it Erika?"
Mia walked over to see what her friend was talking about. On the light brown coffee table were newspaper pamphlets, audio cassetees and video recordings, all of them situated on one thing.
"Something weird is going with Japan."
Mia looked puzzled.
"What could possibly be happening back home? Any news?" Mia asked.
"That's just the thing. There's been no news- no recent news for almost a month now." Erika explained.
"I see. Any attempts at communications?"
Erika shooked her head.
"Any attempt to communicate using frequencies and waves just dissipates once the communication waves hits the border of Japan. There have also been reports that it impossible to enter it now."
"Wait. Impossible?"
Erika nodded.
"Take a look at these (points to a collection of papers) These shipments from various shipping companies were supposed to have been delivered to Japan over a week ago and none of them have even managed to enter Japan's borders."
"And the cause of all this?"
"All their reports say something about their ship being unable to cross the threshold."
"And aerial?"
"Same thing. It appears as though there is some kind of-"
"Forcefield?" Duusu piped in. "Perhaps the Turtle Miraculous is being used right now?"
"Let's not jump to conclusions, Duusu."
"No, I think Duusu's right, Erika." Mia brushed off her petticoat. "Often times the simplest solution is the best, Ockham's Razor I believe."
"Pardon me, but isn't Ockham's Razor the ideal that entities should not be multiplied without necessity?"
"You're right, Kaalki." Mia agreed. "Which we can then simplify to say that the simplest explanation is probably the best."
So Kaiju Plastra aka Narue Oriku is active once more. Not that this should matter to us, Mia thought to herself while smirking.
"Should we be doing something? This whole thing stinks."
"Why Tikki? It's not our concern." Mia asked. Tikki rubbed her little forehead as if in thought.
"It's very much your concern." Plagg chided.
"What was that?!" Erika glared at her little kwami of destruction.
"Erika. Leave it. Plagg. Explain yourself."
"How can you be a superhero if you're being selective with who you help?"
"First off, I'm not a superhero. I'm doing this to take over the world."
This seemed to anger the little kwami.
"Well I don't work with supervillains."
At this Mia chuckled.
"What's so funny?"
"A supervillain? You think I'm a supervillain? Look little kwami. I don't give a damn about those titles."
"Then why do insist on helping people?"
"Helping? I'm helping them help myself and look here. You can go everywhere fixing everyone's problems. You've gotta be selective, you've gotta learn how to invest."
"Then how about this." Tikki interrupted. "If you help the people of Japan-"
"For sure I'll gain some supporters. But the amount by which I will benefitted by-"
"I think we should do it."
"Erika?"
Tikki and Plagg both looked at each other before facing their masters again.
"In this modern age countries are highly interdependent. That lack of communication and entry concerning Japan? We'll get more than their thank. This is akin to saving a country"
"Right Erika. And you know how it is with saving a country." Tikki chirped.
Mia shocked her head.
"Sorry little kwami but that was only back then, like way back, like Medieval Ages and besides. That principality wasn't even universal."
"This must be a rather tricky question for you to answer, dearest. Then allow me to proposition this expedition in another vein of light." Kaalki began before kicking the air in front of her with her little hooves. "If we don't save the people of Japan word is going to travel fast. People will start suspecting us. Let us not forget Chijinda and Narue have allies who also have Miraculous. Should they get to Japan first-"
"That won't happen!" Mia shouted. "As if I'm going to be beaten by some lowly riffrats. Erika. C'mon."
"C'mon? What are we-"
"Looks like I've got to save their sorry asses again." Mia grabbed a bagel and started chewing on it.
There's no way Narue can create a forcefield that strong and for such a consistently long period of time. Kaalki's told me while the forcefield generated by the superpower of the Turtle Miraculous is impressive, by itself it can't exactly differentiate what to keep out. In other words, the fact that Japan's been having a lack of communication signals both into and out of can only mean Narue is now able to control the permeability of that forcefield to such fine physique- and that also must mean she's been akumatized. I'll have to be careful when confronting her.
After Mia had finished eating her bagel she headed over to a closet. It's best to always be prepared. The last time I fought against that akumatized detective punk he nearly killed me even in my Miraculous superoform. I was just lucky his near victory made him reckless. I doubt the same will be said with Narue.
Geez! As much as I hate to admit it, she has a keen eye and a thorough mind. It won't be easy tricking her… though that most certainly won't matter.
"Kaalki. Do you mind explaining more about the Turtle Miraculous?" Mia asked.
"Certainly. Ahem, the Turtle Miraculous like all Miraculous grants its user superhuman like physical capabilities as well a nearly indestructible suit. I say indestructible because there is only one thing that can destroy a Miraculous suit."
"Right. Plagg's Cataclysm." Erika replied.
"That and beating a Miraculous holder to a pulp." Mia stated.
"Oh no. That won't destroy a Miraculous suit let alone damage it. At best all beating up a fellow Miraculous holder will do is force them to prematurely detransform." Kaalki corrected. "In addition to the nearly indestructible suit every Miraculous holder is equipped with and the increase to superhuman levels of physical prowess, the Turtle Miraculous also grants exceptional defense, physical defense. Its superpower, Shelter, allows the user to create a forcefield which cannot be destroyed save for Plagg's cataclysm. The size of this forcefield is dependent on the size of the Turtle Miraculous holder, which is always a distinct size ratio. For obvious reasons this forcefield will never be smaller than the one casting it."
"And seeing how we're talking about a 73.04 meter tall giantess, that's one impressive forcefield."
"Couldn't we just use a sentimonster to destroy her shield?" Erika asked.
"You could but if this Narue person's been akumatized, breaking her forcefield would be useless. Besides, you won't be needing to take such drastic measures when you have me."
Right. Kaalki's the Horse Kwami. With her superpower we can just-
"So you're saying even with this extra power granted to the holder of the Turtle Miraculous your miraculous will enable us to get in and out of Narue's forcefield barrier safely?"
Kaalki nodded.
"Precisely."
"Just to be sure-"
"Right. We'll launch Operation Save Japan in half an hour. Meanwhile I have some business to attend to."
I walked outside the office room and headed to a flight of stairs. There I found the restroom I was looking for. Taking the time to relieve myself I knew this battle would not be easy, but at least this time I wouldn't have to guess where this akumatized Narue is hiding.
Half an hour passed and by then I was already packed up. Now all that was needed was to make the final preparations.
"Duusu. Spread my feathers!"
Now transformed I pulled a feather from my Miraculous tool and charged it with energy. Handing the amok to Erika, Erika placed the amok in a black ballpoint pen. Her sentimonster appeared.
"Duusu. Fall my feathers."
Combining Miraculouses takes a considerable amount of strain, and given that the Peacock and Ladybug Miraculous are among the most powerful of the Miraculous, I cannot combine them together. The last time I tried doing so it resulted in an aneurism. So yeah. That's out of the question.
"Tikki, Spots On!"
I nodded over at Erika who then instructed her sentimonster to power up the Horse Miraculous. Erika then placed the pair of shades over her eyes.
"Kaalki. Full Gallop!"
Now transformed Erika pulled out her Miraculous tool. A couple of beeps later and Ladybird's yo-yo started vibrating.
"Voyage!"
Punching the air in front of her, Erika stepped back as she watched Mia run through the portal.
Location: Edo, Japan.
Ah, Tokyo City. The capital of Japan and a bustling city, or it would be if it weren't for the fact that a certain 73.04 meter tall superpowered giant has decided to make this city her little playpen.
Why hadn't she done this earlier?
"Ahahaha! Run! I'll crush you all!"
Narue casually placed her foot over fleeing subjects. Squish-squish. Another step, a large calamity. Narue giggled.
"If you don't hurry up and run I'm going to flatten you all under the soles of my foot."
Of course they can't run any faster and as to add insult to mockery, their self-appointed queen has placed a forcefield for each and every one of them, a forcefield that greatly increases the atmospheric pressure thus forcing them to become incredibly slow.
"Teehee. This is it. Say goodbye."
"N-Noo!"
The young woman stumbles on her back her eyes wide with fear as she saw the self-appointed queen of Japan lower her foot-

Damn! Whoever they were, they were quite fast. Narue growled in frustration. Narue then proceeded to take on a Tai-chi stance, the air shimmering green while she did so. A little ripple in the light.
"So you've come."
"I could say the same to you as well, Kaiju Plastra."
"Kaiju Plastra? I don't know who you're talking about. Nowadays I go by another name. You may call me the queen of Japan."
"Get real! As if I'll ever bow to you. Look N- I mean Kaiju Plastra. You've gone off the deep end just like your partner Yeou Lujeu and as a mercenary superheroine I've taken it as my duty to set you right back on the path of righteousness. Now tell me where the akuma is!"
"Righteousness? Ha! As if the people of Japan or this pathetic little world should ever listen to you. You're just a scheming criminal, a gnat. You're only helping them to help yourself. An akuma? What are you, high? I'm fine as it. You need to learn your place."
"Well excuse me for not kowtowing. Besides, your title is way too long."
"Too long? Fine. If you're saying my full title is too much for your punitive minds to handle, you jest. Haha. Don't you worry you piece of shitstain. I'll make sure you understand."

"Queenie here is going to take care of you. Yeah you. You caused hubby to go insane!"

As Queenie tried to close the cold forcefield surrounding Ladybird, Ladybird's fist had crossed the barrier and as a result the forcefield could not close properly. More importantly-
-tch. Should've known she'd put a forcefield around her own body. No matter. I'll turn her own powers against her!
Firing out her yo-yo, Ladybird had aimed to strike Queenie with it only for the round part of her yo-yo to glide harmlessly off an invisible barrier. Still, her yo-yo did managed to nick a nearby building thus allowing Ladybird to quickly close the distance.

That's strange. I didn't feel anything, Queenie noted. With an eye of puzzlement Queenie lifted her foot to see the squished remains of her opponent- or nothing.
"Coward. Having your friend teleport you away? See. She's no hero, and I'm your queen! Haha! Bow down and fear me!"
The BGM has stopped.
Queenie looks pleased. Though she didn't quite managed to kill her rival, the message was quite clear. Grinning at her subjects Queenie walks back to her throne. As she approached her throne, the crowd started bowing and begging her to spare their lives.
"Heehee. Look at you. You're doing great."
Amidst the ruins of a crushed city, a man of only slightly less than average height of a Japanese man, read 5'7.5" when rounded up causally made his way to where Queenie sat on her throne. He had waist length pink hair and he wore a pair of opaque shades with a white cowl. He essentially looked like a mage knight with a silver cloak while wearing black armor underneath.
"And you are?"
Queenie looked confused. Was this man delusional? Did he not know his place?
"I see you've forgotten about me, but I haven't forgotten about you- nor your love."

With a smirk Queenie placed a forcefield around the pink haired man, then stopped when she noticed something was off.
Why is it getting hard for me to breathe? The Miraculous suits allow us to breathe without oxygen and I placed a forcefield to asphyxiate him, so why am I the one feeling like I'm suffocating instead?
Queenie frowned. I-impossible! Whatever attack she relayed to the pink haired individual, direct or otherwise, he would casually redirect to her and they would always hit and always hurt without fail.
"Oh I'm not doing anything. You're just bringing this upon yourself."
No, he wasn't doing anything, in fact it'd be more accurate to say whatever he was demonstrating, it was more akin to a passive ability or rather trait, unique to him alone.
"I see trying to hurt you won't work. Fine. You can do whatever you want. Just don't get in my way."
This confused the crowd. Why was she letting this man be?
"As you wish. I just came here to congratulate you."
"Congratulate?"
"Why yes. It's a dangerous world out there for you and your loved ones. So many rumors going about, so many wanting to murder your family."
"Geez. Your flattery is tasteless."
"Though if it would please you, would you mind listening to a suggestion? I'm not giving any orders, it's just that- that you're not thinking big enough."
"What do you mean? I rule Japan. No one in their right mind would want to oppose me, and if they do, I'll simply make short work of them."
Narue's stomach growled. She looked hungrily at her subjects.
"My my! Where are my manners? You sound famish. Go ahead. Enjoy yourself. You are their queen."
Narue glared at the pink haired man.
"I will very much do that! I don't need your approval."
"Fine fine. Why should I care?"
Narue starts seething.
"You're lucky I can't hurt you. If I could, you'd be going down my gullet right now."
"Aww. And why's that?"
"Are you for real? You think you're some-"
"Ehehehehe! If I bother you so much, why don't you try and end it?"
Narue pouts.
"Look. I didn't come here to make small talk. I just have something to propose."
Narue pondered the man's words for just a brief moment.
"Do you promise to leave me alone when this is all said?"
"Oh, I promise this will be the last time you see me in your current state."
Narue nods.
"Very well. Tell me what it is that you propose."
The pink haired man smiled.
"You've done well taking over Japan. The people here fear you and hardly anyone will attempt to harm your loved ones. You've done well preparing a nest."
Narue growled.
"You've even managed to thwart a 'potential' threat. I must say I'm so- so impressed. Really, you are something."
Narue is gritting her teeth.
"Alas, if you don't expand your borders, Ladybird and her allies will eventually stop you. They will take your loved ones away and-"
"Not if I have something to say about that!"
Smiling, the pink haired man simply nods.
"You do love him, don't you?"
Narue glares at the pink haired man.
"Why don't you show to the world just how big! How deep and magnificent your love for him truly is."
Narue is foaming.
"They are just way too many who wish you and your loved ones harm. Aww. Why the look? I'm only here to help you… ehehehe."
Narue slams her fist on a building nearby.
"Whoops. Looks like I've overstayed my visit. I hope you two can find the time to enjoy yourselves, ahahahaha!"
And with that the pink haired man causally made his way to the outskirts of town, disappearing into the distance.

That first round with the akumatized Narue had allowed them to verify their suspicions about her newfound powers. Plagg floated up, wanting to help, but Erika refused. For sure his cataclysmic abilities would be helpful, but if the public were to learn about the existence of these kwamis, their plans could be severely jeopardized.
"Any ideal where the akuma may be hiding?"
"Nope. It'd be nice if I coulda just figure out where her akuma is hiding."
Erika nods before punching the air once more. You've got to win this one, Mia. The state of your plans for world domination rests you being able to prove you can overcome that superpowered toddler.
Narue! I hope you're ready for a rematch!
Mia hops right into the portal Erika created.
Back in the capital of Japan a 73.04 meter tall giantess is walking around laughing maniacally.
"Crush! Burn! Destroy! AHAHAHAHA! Die die die die die!"
Queenie felt herself getting wet as she stomped scores of fleeing humans, though a few did not bother to run and some even tried coming closer.
"Like what you see boys?"
Queenie proceeded to sit down. As she did so a huge foot, roughly around the same size as her caming flying out of nowhere towards the bridge of her nose.

"Why don't you try picking on someone your own size?

As Ladybird continued to pummel Queenie's forcefield, cracks started appearing in the air surrounding the tyrannical giantess. Smirking, Queenie tried closing up her forcefield only for Ladybird's fist to cut through. Her eyes wide in amazement, Queenie tried to jump back but it was already too late.

Hundreds of normal sized human hands pounded at the forcefield keeping them stuck, though it might as well have been all the ants in the world trying to burrow into a wall of titanium- i.e. virtually impossible. The superpowered giantess's hand descended grabbing a handful of them. As she brought them high up, the giantess licked her lips. The crowd screamed as she released her quarry.

Queenie's eyes widened, not because she had been suplexed, but because the hand of a normal human-size individual had touched her green hoodie. And considering she noticed this particular human hand, it could only mean a Miraculous holder had entered the fray
Queenie flashed as huge cracks started snaking their way up her Miraculous suit. Seeing this, Ladybird released a few smoke grenades, appropriately sized. By now Narue was no longer in her Miraculous form, her suit having been destroyed by the power of the Black Cat Miraculous. Erika still held her right hand on the akumatized giantess, destroying her hat. As soon as she did so, a pink butterfly flew out. It was at this moment that she let go. Not wanting to draw much attention to herself for practical reasons, one being the somewhat justified prejudicism against macros, Ladybird took out her size ray gun and fired at herself, shrinking back to her regular size.
"That's enough evil doing, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!"
Narue had been deakumatized. And with this all that was left was to show to the world that even with all this damage, the mercenary superheroine could 'fix' anything. Tossing her size ray gun high in the air, she exclaimed those famous words,
"Miraculous Ladybird!"
The size ray gun suddenly transformed into a circle of magical ladybugs which then scattered throughout the whole of Japan, fixing everything. Those who had been injured or killed as the result of the akuma's actions were healed up to the point they were at before they had been attacked by the effects of the akuma and any damages done to any various building that was the result of the effects of the akuma were set back to before they had been damaged as caused by such.
Narue rubbed her eyes. Why was Miawa and Erika here? Where was Chijinda? They must've done something awful to him! Narue rose up in anger.
"Wait! Don't do it!"
Narue glared at her kwami.
"This is not the time, Wayzz. They've caused us so much- "
Narue was about to continue when she noticed Miawa staggering. It looked like she was in alot of pain. A pool of her own blood laid splattered around her. Foot steps.
"I- I hear you and that little pee stain ar-are getting married? Yeah?"
Narue just looked at her.
"D-don't sweat it. You were akumatized. But every- (coughs out blood) thing will be alright."
Chijinda looked at Miawa. Closing his eyes he began psychokinetically healing her.
"Wha- what are you doing?"
"Healing you. What does it look like I'm doing?"
Mia just scoffed.
"How foolish. What. Do you think you owe me?"
Chijinda just nodded.
"Well that's fine with me. Just don't expect me to-"
Miawa winced before falling forwards. Erika caught her just in time and together the two escaped off into a portal. Maybe it was stupid of me to have healed her, maybe I should've apprehended her. But the truth of the matter is-
"No, what have I done?"
Right. She must becoming to the realization of all the damage her akumatized form caused.
Narue's face looked pained.
"Narue, look. You were-"
"Don't say it Chijinda. I know. This was all my fault."
I shocked my head.
"It doesn't matter who's fault it is. None of this would've ever happened if you weren't akumatized."
"But I-"
I held my hand out as if to silence her.
"When I was akumatized, I truly believed you had died. No, it be more accurate to say the despair I felt upon witnessing your death is what caused me to lash out at the world. Even when you came back I still didn't want to believe it."
"Chijinda."
"I don't know how it is for you, but together we will make it through this. There is still hope."
"D-do you still love me?"
I simply nod. This is going to take a while. Unlike me, Narue has ended up quite dismayed. I don't know how long it will take but I hope she recovers soon and more importantly

Mia was munching on a couple of french fries when she felt her yo-yo beep. Someone was messaging her.

Words cannot express the gratitude I felt when you brought my love interest back to her senses and drove out that akuma. You truly did us a huge favor and for that I thank you.
Now I know you're still planning on taking over the world and quite frankly, I now can say I no longer have a problem with the way you're going about it. A 'superheroine' like you ruling the world doesn't sound like such a bad ideal anymore. Course, I doubt you care about my approval.
Still, these recent events have taught me alot about the world, about people and the Miraculous. Yes. I'm talking about him. Udaspes Folus. No doubt you and I share a common adversary.
I can't offer you much, but would you be willing to take him down? As a favor?
