Roszen looked at her new form, confusion spreading across her face. "My Devil Trigger... how?"
"Had a very similar thing happened to me when Rebellion was stabbed into me by my brother..." Dante spoke up barely above a whisper. Making everyone look at him. "Its a very long story." He grabbed Rebellion and put it on his back. "Rebellion awakened my Devil Trigger, and it did the same for you."
"ok makes sense..." Roszen said as she deactivated her Devil Trigger, returning to her normal appearance, but a white streak in her red hair.
"But here's the kicker, Rebellion can only do that to someone who has the blood of Sparta, and more specifically my blood..." he pointed to himself then quickly slapped his forehead. "That's why she disappeared!"
"She was pregnant with me..." Roszen paced around, as the dots connected. "She probably wanted to keep me away from monsters like Vurnomon. Not only am I three fourths demon now, I'm always have the blood of Sparta..." She rubbed her face with her hands. "Damnit mother why didn't you tell me!"
Roszen suddenly stopped in front of Dante as if she remembered something. A wicked smirk came from her as she dropped down and punched Dante in the groin. He wasn't able to say anything as he dropped like a sack of stones. Lady tried to hide her laughter, but was failing miserably, while Krex just shook his head.
"What was that for...?" Dante groaned as he tried to get up.
"Bucket list." Was all she replied.
"Oh yeah..." he pointed a finger in her direction. "In my defense, I never knew."
Roszen simply shrugged. "Then that's payback to implying me to the throne."
"ok... that's a bit more fair..." he starched his legs a bit. "So got a plan, or our we just winging it?"
She smiled, "plan is simple, we go to Vurnomon, and kick his ass." She put her hands on her hips. "Any objections?"
"My kind of plan." Dante smiled, while Lady rolled her eyes and shook her head no.
"It's a terrible plan, my lady." Krex piped up. "But I got nothing better."
Roszen nodded, "Alright, Krex lead the way. We need to get there as fast as possible." She began to walk out of the room. "The longer we wait the more prepared he'll be." Krex quickly followed behind her before getting in front of her with the rest of them quickly gaining on them.
Vurnomon stared into his orb with a wicked smile. "So I was right!" He chuckled darkly, while also trying to contain himself. "She not only has the blood of Sparta, but is the daughter of Dante!" He threw his head back as he let out a laughter filled with insanity. "Oh, my Courtesan you really did a wonderful job, no matter how much you would tried to deny it."
He pulled out a staff, and slammed it down a couple of times. Soon a hunchbacks demon carrying two human size meat carvers and hood over its head entered. "Go to the prisons and fetch me the wannabe witch girl." He turned back to the orb, with a widening smile. "I have a some use for her."
Krex lead them through the winding path of halls and long corridors, moving as swift as the wind. They had to stop when they reach a room, it was a large meeting room with a long table in the middle chars lind up the table, as several human women
were tied down into them. "What's going on?" Roszen walked up to the table slowly.
"Vurnomon appears to be sending us a message, my lady." Krex said as Roszen stopped dead in her tracks. "My lady?"
Roszen looked at the women there and nearly all of them were husks, skin dried, eyes hollowed out; their last expression seem to that of pain, all except one. "Mrs. Kagari?!" She moved to the woman, who looked barely alive.
"R-Roszen...?" She tried to lift her head, but she could only managed lifting a few inches. "Is... that you...?" She had a large bruise on her cheek, swelling part of her eye shut, and had several other injuries, although none life threatening.
"Mineur Guérir." She muttered as a lite green light appeared in her hand as she waved it over the older woman. "What happened, where's Akko?"
Mrs Kagari started to shed tears, as her injuries healed. "They took her! I tried stopping them, but I couldn't do much. Then one of them knocked me out, and the next thing I know I awoke like this, with him-" she spat venom at that. "-walking away, with Akko in his hands."
"Something is not right here, kid." Dante looked around, seeing the dried up corpses. "Let's get her of here."
Roszen pulled out a knife and cut the restraints. "Dont worry, Mrs. Kagari, well get you out of here," she began to left the older woman, "and then we'll go save Akko." She managed to get her out of the chair, before a loud screech went through the room. "...fuck..." Roszen's shoulders dropped.
"Roszen look out!" Lady managed to shout before something big landed on the table, shattering it.
Roszen was able to cover Mrs. Kagari with her own body. Dust shot up and covers the area, the sound of what ever fell getting up, and moving toward Roszen, showing it's face. She saw a large spider like demon staring down at her, eight eyes of hell fire on top of a white head, large fangs dripping with green venom, connected to a huge white body, with eight white legs with black bladed feet, and a long sticky wire coming from its back.
Roszen face went white. "KILL IT WITH FIRE!" She managed to swing Briallan, fire igniting across the blade, hitting the demon spider across the face. The Demon screeched and moved back
Before it retaliate, Dante opened fired with his pistols. "Kid, get the Missus to Lady, then go on ahead!" He teleported right in front of the spider demon, and blocked a blow with Rebellion. "I'll play exterminator."
Roszen didn't need to be told twice, "Krex, cover me!" she picked up Mrs. Kagari and bolted to Lady. "Get her somewhere safe," she handed Lady the older woman. "I'll be getting Akko."
She took a few steps. "Roszen," she look back to them. "be safe, and bring my daughter back." Mrs. Kagari face held hope, but also worry.
"Don't have all the fun," Lady gave her a smirk. "We'll be right behind you." Then quickly getting the two of them moving.
She nodded. "Right!" She looked towards the exit, the Spider demon battling against Dante. "Fuck I hate spiders..." She shook her arms to fight the shiver going down her spine, "Especially the bigger ones," before bolting to the exit.
The spider demon tried to stop her, but was blocked off by Dante. "Nope, not happening, you Monster Hunter regret!"
Roszen jumped off Dante shoulder, then hopped over the demon. "don't wait too long Dante!" She landed just at the exit. "you'll miss all of the fun!" Before he could say a word she was gone.
"I can't believe I didn't see it sooner..." he moved his sword behind him, "Well, you heard her?" with his other hand he beckoned the demon to come at him. "We have to make this short."
The spider demon screeched, before charging at him.
Krex carried Roszen as they flew down the hall. "The true throne room should be just around this corner, but I believe hell be heavily guarded." Krex flapped his wings increasing their speed. "I do not why he has Miss. Akko. My only guess is bait or a bargaining chip." Roszen stayed silent, a cold fury in her gaze. "We will save her my lady, I'm sure of it."
When they round the corner they saw the grand doors leading to the throne room, much like the face one. But it was unguarded. "Strange...?" Krex put Roszen down. "There's usually at least two Hell Antenoras."
"I don't think we faced those yet." Roszen walked up to the door.
"They guard the throne room and Vurnomon when the Courtesan wasn't able." Krex got his sword and shield ready. "I do not know what is in there my lady."
She drew Briallan, from her back. "Well there's only one way to find out." She pushed the doors opened, entering a replica of the last throne room, and was greeted by the bastard behind all of this.
Sitting on his throne, Vurnomon had a wicked smile on, white razor sharp, wide red eyes, short red hair, with ivory horns that shape into a crown. His had a lanky build, with pale skin, but his limbs were bare and were black as midnight. "So glad you can finally make it!" He waved his free hand, the other lightly hiding a staff. "You're probability looking for this?" He snapped his fingers and Akko descended from the ceiling, strapped to a table, with demonic script on it.
"LET HER GO!" Roszen yelled out.
"hmm..." he put a finger on his chin. "Nope!" He let out a laughter and then slammed his staff to the ground a few times. Several hunchbacks demons with hood over their heads fell from the ceiling or popped out of the ground. All of them had two human sized meat clevers. "I'm not done with her, or you for that matter." He let out another round of crazed laughter. The Hell's Antenoras pounced at the pair.
