Dante let out an excited laugh as he dodged a lunge from the spider demon. "Come on, I'm right here!" He clapped his hands a few times, getting the demon's attention.

It let out a screech as it got on its hind legs and pushed its abdomen foreword, launching a web ball at him. Dante rolled out of the way, watching the ball explode onto the ground. "Ok... definitely don't want to be caught by that." He trickster dodged as he saw the Spider's fangs coming out of its head like another pair of arms and slamming down together where he was last standing. "Now that's a combo!" The fangs retracted back into its head as it found its target again. "That's kinda disgusting if I'm being honest." He pulled out both of his pistols and took a pot shot at its eye.

It staggered as the eye ruptured and let out a loud screech of pain. "Not as durable, despite its size..." he thought as he trickster dodged a hip check and landed on top of its head before plunging Rebellion deep into it. It let out a deafening screech, loud enough to shake the room a bit, then falling to the ground dead. "Too easy..." he thought as he pulled out Rebellion.

Lady and Mrs. Kagari were running, well being carried in Mrs. Kagari's case. "Y-You... have to... go back for him..." A loud screech reached them, causing them to look back.

"Dante will be fine, besides I think he just finished," Lady tried to reassure her.

"T-That's... not the main demon there..." This made Lady stop. "It... was one of her children..."

Dante looked up at the ceiling, barely making out the hole there, sensing something watching him.

"How do you know this?" Lady asked.

"S-She was... the one who captured me... when I tried to run... the first time, when Akko was taken..."

"What is this demon?" she asked as Dante saw his new opponent. She let out a screech louder than the last one, shook the room enough to cause rocks to fall from the ceiling.

Mrs. Kagari's voice was barely above a whisper as her whole body shook from fear. "N-Nerscylla..."

Dante had to dodge the falling rock with Trickster, before seeing her more clearly as she landed. It looked much like the previous one, except it had large purple crystals emerging from its back. A skin of a different creature entirely covered her, and she was three times larger. "T-The Demon Spider Queen..."

Nerscylla let out one more deafening screech before shooting a quick thin web at Dante. It connected before he could react. "Damn, she's fast!" He was pulled towards her just as quickly; she extended her fangs out like arms, ready to snap at him. Dante switched styles, just as the fangs snapped shut, but the sound of something hitting hard metal rang out. "Royal Guard!" Dante called out as he held his hands in a Kung-Fu stance. Nerscylla's attack deflected off of Dante, causing her to stagger back.

Dante did more martial arts moves, sounds included, that he clearly got from a movie. Before doing the "come at me" gesture, he said, "Well, ready for another round?" Nerscylla answered with a screech and chomped down with her extended fangs again and again. Each time Dante perfectly timed his blocks before he trickster dodged behind her and got into a different stance. "Royal..." Nerscylla turned around just in time to see the attack. "Release!" He lunged forward with his fist out in front, knocking Nerscylla back to the wall. She got up and quickly climbed the wall.

Dante pulled out Ebony and Ivy and opened fire. The bullet did little to the second skin she had on, either the shots deflected or the impact was absorbed, but it did do one thing, it pissed her off. When she reached the ceiling, she swung down on a web and launched herself at Dante. Dante switched to Royal Guard but missed timed his block and was launched back.

"Yeah... that hurt..." Dante slowly got up, seeing Nerscylla doing the same. "I got the first round, and you definitely got the second." He lifted Rebellion to his shoulder. "So let's say this last round is winner takes all?"

Nerscylla stared at him, letting out a screech before rushing him. Dante ran forward, sliding under Nerscylla's fang attack and slicing at the exposed underbelly, earning a pained shriek from her.

He trickster dodged out from under her, missing the stinger. "Well you're just full of surprises." He ducked under a swipe of her arm. Pulling out his shotgun, he gave her a face full of buckshot, throwing her head back.

Nerscylla let her fangs and arms out, spread wide, and ran towards Dante. He jumped just as she closed her fangs, landing on her back and plunging Rebellion into her head. The Demon Spider Queen let out one last deafening screech before she collapsed.

Dante let out a sigh as he slid off, Nerscylla turning into a ball of light, floating towards him, before he grabbed it. A scythe about as tall as himself appeared and looked to be made from the Nerscylla, most notably the fang like blade. He twirled the weapon, saw it could split into two and replicate itself, then did the fang clap that both spiders loved to use. "Web Weaver's Fangs..." He put the two halves back together. "Not really my style, but I know someone who could use you."

He dismissed the devil arm when he heard Lady's voice. "Hey! Slow down, you'll fall over if you keep forcing yourself like this." Lady was chasing Mrs. Kagari, who was leaning against the wall, still not well enough to walk on her own.

"I... have to..." She stumbled a bit, quickly being caught by Lady. She was covered in sweat, breathing hard, her face was dead white and she was hot to the touch.

"What's wrong with her?" Dante asked, helping the young mother to not fall over.

"I think she has a fever." Lady led them to a part of the room that had fallen rock, a convenient cover for them. "I have some stuff in my pack that might help, but it would be a bad idea if we left her here by herself." Lady handed Mrs. Kagari to Dante, cleaning a spot for them to put the sick women down.

"I guess I'll go on ahead, and give the kid a hand." He laid Mrs. Kagari down as Lady pulled out a little med pack. He began to walk away.

"Dante," Lady called out. "Did you know?"

"Know about what?" He suddenly looked at her. "That Briallan was a demon, that Roszen is actually my daughter, or the fact that she didn't trust me enough to tell me anything!?" His outburst even shocked himself.

Lady put up her hands in surrender. "Sorry, I knew you two were close..."

"I told her everything..." Dante slowly became quiet. "I told her what happened to me... to my brother... to my mother..." He let out a quick chuckle. "All this started because you thought I needed therapy."

"You did. And it was helping, till she left suddenly."

"Yeah..." He looked up to the destroyed ceiling,with a small smile. "Who knows what could happen after a good night of drinking."

Lady looked at him disappointingly. He put his hands up. "Hey, we were both drunk that night."

Lady went back to caring for Mrs. Kagari. "You should probably get going, Roszen might need your help." She looked back at him with a smirk. "Or worse, you'll miss all the fun."

Dante let out a laugh before taking off.

Lady looked at Mrs. Kagari. "We'll get her back, I promise."

Dante raced down the hall, following the sounds of fighting. He soon found the open doors to the throne room, seeing Roszen and Krex fighting several Hell Antenoras. Not wasting any time he barreled towards them but was knocked back by an invisible force. Grunting as he got up, he looked up, feeling the color from his face leaving. "Shit..." What blocked him from entering was the Death Arena Ward. The only way to let it down was with the death of one of the combatants.

Vurnomon smiled wickedly at Dante. "Oh look! Daddy's here!" He got up from his throne "Now the real fun can begin!"
