Roszen walked at a leisurely pace down a round in a rural town, on a hilly country side. Her little trip lasted about six months and this was her last stop. She had her pack in one hand over her shoulder and set amount of bag in her other.
Some of the locals looked at with weird or worry looks, probably never seen a foreigner with as bright as red hair as her, or never seen a foreigner at all in that regard. She asked a shop keeper for directions, surprising them that she knew the language as well as she did. After getting the directions she slowly made her way to a descent size house, just outside if the town.
She walked up to it, putting her pack down, and knocked. She only had to wait half a minute, before a familiar face opened the door. She looked a lot more heather, without the bruising, and gaining a better weight. "Roszen?!"
"Hello Mrs. Kagari." Roszen spoke in Japanese. "it's been awhile, and you look much better."
"yes it has!" She let out a smile. "And thank you. You've been good I see, your hair has definitely grown."
Roszen twisted the end of her hair, now reached her shoulders. "Yeah, trying something different." She looked around. "I'm surprised i haven't been tackled by Akko yet."
"she still at school right now, she'll be home soon." She grabbed Roszen's pack, "Now let's get you inside, you can take the gets room."
"How did you know I'll be staying?" The two walked through the house.
"Akko's been having trouble lately, I called Dante last week, and all I got was some one should be over soon."
"Is she ok?"
"it's more of "is she not ok?" Night terrors, violent out busts out of literally nowhere, randomly breaking thinks in her hands, her skin turning black with those wings and horns, I'm glad that last one only happened here so far."
Roszen stopped both of them. "How many times has that last one happened?"
"once that I know of."
"Ok... seal still holding, but weakening fast..." She thought that to herself. "I can reapply the seal, but she going to have to train in order to control it, especially if she still plan on going to Luna Nova." She knew all about Akko's dream on becoming a witch like Shinny Chariot, give everyone a smile with magic, and show just how truly wonderful magic was.
"Thank you Roszen, we're in you debt again." Mrs. Kagari bowed with tears in her eyes, trying to hold them back. "She's my only daughter... and I... I can't think of-"
Roszen suddenly brought her into a hug. "You will never have to worry about that ever again. Not as long as I can help it."
"I... thank you Roszen..." She let go of her and clean the tear away. "Akko is luck she has you, we all are."
Deciding to change the subject Roszen looked towards the hall way, leading to the bedrooms. "which one is mine?"
"second door on the right, night next to Akko's." The put her stuff the said room, then went back to the living room, to have some tea and wait for Akko's return.
Roszen looked towards the entryway leading to the front door. "does she walk home?"
"Not any more, not after the first transformation. My husband been walking her home ever since." Roszen nodded. "he's been worried about both of us ever since we got abducted..."
Soon the door opened. "We're back..." Akko's voice came through, sounding distraught.
"Akko dear, did something happened?" Her mother got up and walked to her.
"had another rage moment..." She hung her head. "almost hurt one of my friends..."
Roszen couldn't see Akko yet, but could definitely feel the demonic energy randomly spiking. "show time..." She thought as she got up.
"don't worry dear we'll get through this." Mrs. Kagari put her hand in Akko's face. "we got some help."
"what...?" Akko looked up as she saw Roszen walk in to view. "ROSZEN!!!" She bolted to her, tackling into her cheats. "I missed you so much!!!"
Roszen let out a laugh, as she returned the hug. "ugh, you gotten bigger!"
"what are you doing here?" She looked up at her.
"I'm hear to get that little demon of yours under control." She booped the girls nose, earning a giggle.
"no more flair ups?"
"no more flair ups." She let go of Akko and turned to her parents. "I'll keep your daughter from harm from any threat, either it be demons or herself. You have my word." She bowed to them.
"Is she one of the ones that saved you two?" Mr. Kagari asked.
"there were two more, but yes, she did most of the heavy lifting." Mrs. Kagari put a hand on her husband.
"alright then," he bowed to her. "we accept your task and thank you for doing this."
Roszen smiled and looked at Akko. "So when do we start?"
She knelt down to her. "you're training starts tomorrow, but first we need to repair the seal." She placed her palm on Akko's forehead. Demonic energy flew from Roszen to Akko.
Soon Akko opened her eyes, not realizing she closed them. She felt like a weight has been lifted off her body. The blood red color of her eyes had dulled back to their normal color. "wow... I feel... lighter..."
Roszen smiled, and put an hand in her shoulder. "get used to it now, because tomorrow is going to be hell."
"oh... She one of those teachers..." her father muttered.
They had dinner not long after, they didn't really talk much, besides learning where's Krex was, still with Roszen, just no need to summon him. They did sleek about Akko's latest rage moment.
"We're talking, waiting for the last bell, then all of a sudden my friend took my pencil with out asking, and I was on top of her ready to punch her face in." She looked at her hand, it was staring to shack. "When I realized what happened I backed away to the other side of the room, every one was looking at me with scared looked on their faces, I don't know if it was for me or from me, but I ran as the finally bell rang," pionts to her dad, "ran into dad just out side of the school. My friend tried to follow me, but I think she saw me crying and stopped." She rubbed her eyes trying keep the tears from coming.
"it will get better I promise." Roszen reached over and rubbed Akko's head.
They all decided to turn in from the night, but not before Roszen gave Akko a present.
"Alcor!" Akko let out an excited gasp, from her bed, as she hugged the weight bird plush. "I've always wanted one!"
Roszen gave her a smile. "glade you like it, now he should protect you from any monster in the night!" She raid her arms above her hear in a false intimidating manner, causing Akko let out laugh.
"no you know where to find me if you need me." She got up to leave, be for a small hand grabbed her's.
She looked back to Akko give an embarrassed look. "could you stay, till I fall asleep...?"
"sure." She sat back down, before summoning Luna Rosa. "How about I play you a song, my mother play when one couldn't sleep well."
"Yeah!" Akko got comfortable and hugged the Alcor plush.
"A Rose's Lullaby coming right up!" Luna Rosa spoke up.
Roszen soon began to play a soft and slow melody, careful not to play to fast, but not too slow either, keeping to beat she set. As she play an avatar of Luna Rosa appeared and started to dance around Akko, the dance was hypnotic, a long the song, Akko soon found it hard to stay awake. Roszen was barely into a minute into the song, before she saw Akko asleep. When she stopped a single tear escaped. Gently rubbing it away she leaned over and brushed the hair out of Akko's face.
Roszen got up quietly and left the room. Waiting out side was Mrs. Kagari. "I've never seen Akko go to sleep that fast." She whispered.
"must be all the stress from everything." Roszen dismissed Luna Rosa and slowly closed the door.
"Or she's trust you a lot." She walked to the living room, Roszen following. "She wouldn't stop talking about you for weeks. Mostly admiration with some worry every now and then." She gave a quick chuckle, sitting down on the couch. "I think you're up there with Shiny Chariot."
Roszen sat next to her. "Well I don't know about that..." She rubbed the back of her neck, fighting the blush crawling up it. "I just can't sit by and let innocent people get hurt..."
Mrs. Kagari smiled at her and let out another giggle. "Well I must turn in for the night," she got up to leave. "I'll see you in the morning, Roszen."
"good night." She watch the older woman leave. Herself staying for a moment. After some time had passed, she went to her room, sitting on the bed and pulled out a large three ringed binder. It read Akko's demon training. It had a full to-do list on how to get Akko ready to control her demon side. She spent weeks with her teacher going over the plan. She took a deep breath. "I hope you can do it Akko, the other alternative is way to risky..." She shut the binder, and decided to go to bed, can't teach with a sleepy mind.
With that Roszen and Akko's lives will forever change, their bond twisting and turning as the days change. They become something close to sisters, a happy ending to their adventure.
Or that how it's supposed to end, right?
"AKKO, GET YOUR ASS OUT OF BED RIGHT NOW!!" Atsuko, Akko, Kagari jumped out of bed into a muck combat stance. "good you're up, meet me in yard in five."
Akko looked up to see Rosen already gone from her door. She quickly got her training clothes on, before glancing at herself in the mirror, she was now in her early teens, Roszen has been living with them for years now.
Meeting Roszen in the back yard, she too had changed, her red hair was much longer, down to her waist, with a silver streak that seem to spiral down her hair. "ah, the sleeping beauty arrives. Come on pepsqueak, we don't have all day." She tossed a quarter staff at her
"Hay I'm almost as tall as you!" Catching the staff with little effort.
Roszen twirled her own quarter staff, "almost is not good enough! And you know the rules, you have to hit me to stop with name calling, which you never have."
Akko stomped her foot. "that changes today!" She got into a fighting stance with her staff held foreword. "I'm not only going hit you, I'm going to beat you!"
"Your determination rivals mine, but your skills don't."
Akko tightened her grip on her staff. "Now don't go hurting each other too much." Allen's mom called out, gang hanging wet laundry on a out side cloths line her back turned towards them.
"got it mom/Yes ma'am." They replied, before Akko got an idea
"mom give us a count down!"
She sight before counting. " 3..." both of them go back into a fighting stance. "2..." they got ready. "1... go wild." She said with false enthusiasm, and they both launched themselves at echo other.
