I am alive ladies and gentlemen, sorry for not uploading for almost a month, I have been super busy with College recently.
Have been fixing my schedule, so I have some time to exist without worrying about this or that.

(Obelisk Blue dorm two days after The Announcement™)
Walking through the Obelisk blue dorm to my new room, I couldn't help but find certain parts of it tacky, there is a lot of gold for a BLUE dorm.
'Then again, I ain't a fan of the color blue anyways I thought while looking at the blue jacket I held in my left arm.
There is no way I am putting that on.
The dress code in the academy is really lax thankfully, especially if you are a top student, so I decided to drop the academy uniform all together and just dress however I wanted.
It can only go up from that detective coat-looking monstrosity.
Finally reaching my room which was marked by a plaque with my name in it (As if Obelisk Blue would use numbers) I opened it to look inside.
The interior of MY new room makes me gasp without me realizing it.
Quickly stepping inside and closing the door, I am left feeling thankful for checking that the room is soundproofed.
"Let's fucking gooo Baby!" I shouted at the air.
"This is some good shit. Joan, Venus, Pikeru, Silent Magician, come join me, we have to celebrate!" I told my companions, man that sofa is looking so comfortable.
They appeared as called, looking at me before looking at the room and floating to whatever interested them.
Going to the first thing that caught my interest, I am accompanied by Venus to look at the huge 70-inch TV screen that has been set up against the wall.
Man does this thing look good, going through the desk table, I see a laptop that I am definitely checking out later, but first I have to find the controller.
"Jack" Venus's voice starts speaking to me while looking at the TV with a questioning look "What is the purpose of this 'TV' of yours?"
"...hehehe." The comment drew a chuckle from me.
That was a little unexpected, I had forgotten that Venus was a relatively young duel spirit, she couldn't have been given card form for more than a decade, decade, and a half.
Most of that time was probably spent doing not much at all.
"Well Venus, this piece of technology is capable of showing stories, news and more through both sound and image, a lot of modern culture is based around this not so little thing"
She seemed even more confused before some clarity shone through.
"So, like that small rectangle you carry with you everywhere" She claimed as if she had just solved a really hard math problem.
I nodded and she asked the question I was hoping for.
"Are the stories any good?" She asked with a level of innocence I didn't know she even had.
"I am sure we can find something you like Venus," I said, and I couldn't keep the smile on my face and didn't even want to.
If she is happy I am.
After setting Venus with the TV and a channel she said seemed interesting enough, I continued to take a look at the room.
My attention is instantly pulled to one of my card spirits being in trouble.
Going to my balcony (and wasn't that a trip) I see Pikeru has managed to tangle herself in the curtains.
How?
I repeat How?
"Jack, you must save me! This curtain is trying to eat me!" She exclaims with tears in the corners of her eyes.
It would probably be a heartbreaking sight in any other context, but I find it funnier than anything right now.
"But Pikeru! You are the fearless princess! If you are captured, whatever would I do!" She started pouting to me.
A stronger man would be able to resist.
….
I am not that man.
Releasing Pikeru from her comfortable prison, she drops to the ground with a thud before standing up as if nothing had happened.
"Jack look! Before I was taken prisoner, I was able to find this beauty!" Looking at where she was pointing at, I see that behind the curtains and alongside a lamp table, there is a mini-fridge, nice.
Opening it up I see a little bit of everything, from sodas to mineral waters to even some candies.
On the inside of the fridge there was a note "Fridge restocked fortnightly, thank you for your consideration"
Huh will have to be careful with that one, wouldn't want to have anything incriminating while someone is here.
Picking a cola-flavored drink for me, and a strawberry-flavored one for Pikeru, I can't help but sigh in satisfaction when tasting the cold drink.
Pikeru seemed to look at the drink I had offered her with curiosity.
Wait a second, can she even drink the stuff?
My question was instantly answered when she took her first sip with only slight hesitation.
Her eyes seemed to light up at the taste, taking greedy gulps of the beverage.
She finished her drink in 15 seconds flat, before looking at the mini-fridge with predatory eyes.
She went to rest on the balcony, with multiple drinks and an unreasonable number of sweets.
Seems I will have to ask for a refill sooner than expected.
Letting Pikeru drive herself to a food coma with her sugary treats, I decided to check out that sofa that first caught my eye.
"Really Silent Magician? Already sleeping?" Thankfully there is space for more people even if one of them is sleeping.
Sitting on the sofa, I think I can understand Silent Magician a little bit.
Man, this sofa is great for a nap.
"Okay enough relaxing there is a better place to do that of course," I said getting up.
There in the corner, there it lies a treasure like no other...
A super king-sized four-poster bed, I may be drooling a little.
Dropping into the bed, I let out a moan of comfort as my body sinks into the material of the mattress.
"Ah, this is the life, cute girls, comfortable beds, and good food, what more could a man possibly want?" I asked the presence I felt alongside me in the bed.
"I can see why you would want to make this your permanent lifestyle, it is certainly comfortable." Said Joan after making herself visible
"It is the least we deserve after all the shit we will have to fix" I couldn't help but snort but seeing Joan's confused expression made me pause.
I just remembered that I hadn't told Joan what we will face in the future.
She just took my word for it.
…
Man, she is great.
"Joan, I think it is about time I told you about why I am so interested in becoming a better duelist" The serious tone I was holding must have told her something because she closed the curtains and put her whole attention on me.
"I think it is better to start with the hardest part, Joan I have seen the future, and the enemies we will face will be some of the most powerful in this dimension," I told her with a straight face, hoping she would believe me,
She rose an eyebrow and responded "I see... better start planning then" she said with that ethereal tone of voice of hers, that I have grown to enjoy.
What? That's it?
I must have sent that message through the link, because she started giggling like crazy, and I started frowning, this was some serious shit if I make a stupid enough mistake I could die and that means Joan would go down with me.
"Jack, Clairvoyance is hardly the weirdest skill for a duels spirit to possess, besides before I was Guardian Angel Joan, I was the warrior St. Joan. So, you have information about a dangerous future? That is good! Being informed is half the battle won already"
She explained making me wonder how different card versions work.
"So, no Jack, I will not panic, as long as we are alive, we can plan, and as long as we have an advantage on information, we can thrive! I understand how holding this information on your back has been stressing you, but you mustn't forget that I am here with you and for you, our lives depend on each other, so we can depend on each other with absolute confidence, something few people can."
Her words soothe a part of me I didn't know I needed to.
The truth is that while I have been going on a rampage around the island growing considerably in power, that still doesn't help with the nagging sensation of inadequacy on the back of my head.
We will be facing forces that are quite honestly kind of beyond my comprehension.
Hell! I am not even sure if I can do anything to stop the light of destruction beyond helping Jaden.
It isn't like I hold the gentle darkness, nor do I really want to.
But Joan is right, I have the resource to make sure everything happens as smoothly as possible, and with Joan that will be all the easier.
"You are right Joan, too often really, you may hurt my pride you know?" I quip jokingly.
Seeing her laugh is the best medicine for my stress.
"So, I guess we better start planning right?" I ask with a smile, and she nodded with one of her own.
And so, we did, we spent hours talking about all the enemies we will face and the best strategies to beat them.
It was mainly me info-dumping on Joan at the start while she asked factual questions to get a better picture.
Things turned the other way around after a while funnily enough, Joan wasn't joking about having been a warrior in her... previous life?
Honestly feels awkward to ask.
The point is Joan is really good at planning battle strategies and this is as close as a battle to it gets.
After a while I started getting tired of all the thinking and let out a huge yawn, making Joan look at me like I was some adorable cat or something.
"I had almost forgotten that you needed sleep, well we are already in this comfortable bed, so I guess you could nap a little, don't worry I will wake you up before it is too late"
A power nap feels really fucking good right now, all this planning and heart-opening has left me dead tired mentally.
Throwing myself under the covers of my new bed, I let a sigh of satisfaction.
"Man, this is bliss" I am about to start going to dreamland when I felt a second weight in the mattress and some wings tickling my nose, making me sneeze.
"I thought some additional warmth would be good for you," she said with an even tone of voice, but her face told me all I needed to know.
She was teasing me.
Well, two can play that game.
Grabbing her by the waist, I pull Joan's body against me, drawing a squeak out of her.
She can be the little spoon as a punishment for teasing me.
Feeling her shudder from the feeling of my breath in her neck brings me more satisfaction than any duel I have had so far.
"If you can wake me up at around 18:00 I would be really grateful dear" Feeling her squirm, I grew slightly confused before I realized what it was.
Oh, she liked being called that, didn't she?
Well, I know what I am calling her when we are alone from now on.
Of course, she didn't go down without a fight, her slight grinding against my crotch almost made me pop a boner.
But I used every ounce of willpower I had to control myself, I ain't giving her that satisfaction so easily after all.
Honestly, the sexual part of my relationship with Joan is the least important to me right now (You don't know how good having a literal soulmate feels until you have one), but it doesn't mean I don't appreciate her body.
Man are these pillows good.
(2 Hours Later)
I had already woken up (Courtesy of a feather on my nose from Joan) and I was trying to think of a good way to spend my Friday evening.
While racking my head I remember a promise I made.
Seems Jasmine is getting her date tonight.
Picking my PDA, I call Jasmine, I wonder what she's doing.
(Obelisk Blue Girls Dorm)
(Jasmine POV)
Sitting with Alexis and Mindy relaxing in the Laters room should have been fun.
Keyword 'should'.
"I am just saying Jasmine, now that Jack is an Obelisk Blue, you will have a lot more competition than before, especially after his declaration, girls like a confident guy after all" Mindy sure liked to remember her of that one.
"Confident? More like arrogant, he hasn't proved to be the best duelist from the first years, and he definitely hasn't proven he is the best duelist on the island." Of course, Alexis has been mad since she saw how long the list to duel Jack was, honestly do people have that much money to throw away?
That and the fact that Alexis's standard of strength has just been challenged by Jack claiming, even if indirectly, that he could soundly beat Zane, and of course by correlation Alexis.
She has always thought that Alexis put too much credit on Zane, he is great no doubt, but compared to the top of the professional scene he looks average at best.
"What it isn't like I want him to take me on a date you know!" That made her friends roll their eyes.
Hard.
Okay, even she didn't believe that one.
Mindy was about to speak again when her PDA rang...
Showing Jack's face in it.
Scrambling to get to it before Mindy she was just barely able to stop her from probably embarrassing her.
Accepting the call, she was greeted by Jack's smokey voice that she refused to admit had been part of a daydream or two.
"Why hello there Jasmine, hope you doing well?" He talked calmly like he had just gone to a spa.
"Hi to you to Jack, I am doing good hanging with Alexis and Mindy, why?" She was curious, what could possibly be that he wanted?
"Why Jasmine, you hurt me! Don't tell me that you have forgotten about the date I promised you?"
(Back to Jack)
Hearing a squeal in the background that I would assume is Mindy was remarkably funny.
"So, Jasmine what do you say, are you up for a date with me tonight?" I am already planning it right now.
The best part of being on a tropical island is that the temperature here stays warm through the night.
"Sure!" She screams in my ear before composing herself "I mean, okay I will let you take me on a date" So adorable, it is almost hard not to laugh.
"Excellent! I am glad that you agree, I have been thinking about a beach date since the weather here is great, so how about that and a dinner for two in one of the island's restaurants?"
Of course, this place has restaurants, who do you think Kaiba is? A non-restaurant owning peon?
"Sure, sounds fun, anything I should know?" Going through a mental Checklist of the date, tell her to bring a swimsuit to change to and tell her that I will be there at 7 PM.
"Well, Jasmine I can't wait to see you there" Receiving the confirmation I go check the most important thing for this date.
"Joan! Help me decide on what to wear!" Joan appeared beside me, and we started the long process that is picking out the perfect outfit.
(6:55 PM Duel Academy Island)
Standing near the restaurant in which I agreed to meet with Jasmine, I have to admit that I am drawing a lot of looks.
Especially of the female variety.
Dressed in a red with a golden roses pattern beach shirt, (which I, of course, had the top buttons undone to show my cheated physique) with some simple grey swim trunks and a couple of male Greek leather sandals, I am looking damn fine.
Joan agreed too, especially about the newest necklace that I had bought with the money I won from the idiots from what is now my dorm.
The design was simple, silver fairy wings with a simple text 'Invicto', unbeaten in Spanish.
I barely had anything related to who I was before coming here, and I will probably not bring much more.
There is no use dwelling on it after all
I do wonder what expression people would make if I started speaking Spanish though.
I didn't have to stand being ogled by strangers for long before Jasmine made her appearance.
'Me like' She really does look great.
What most people are looking at is her turquoise bikini top, which is proudly showing her assets, but the rest of the outfit is great, the black sarong goes great with the rest of her look, her sandals as well.
Walking up to her, I can't help the satisfied smirk that takes place on my face when her eyes instantly focus on my chest.
"Hi, their Jasmine, my eyes are up here dear." I burst out laughing when her face turns as red as a strawberry.
"Well, what do you say if we get this date started?" She nods with a smile, her previous embarrassment forgotten,
"I have a reservation for the restaurant for 9:00 PM, so we have time to cut loose and just enjoy ourselves, do you feel up to testing the water?" I ask her, there are other things to do besides swimming around the beach after all.
"Swimming sounds fun, but where would we leave our stuff?" She understandably asks.
"There is a cabin around here which lets you place items in a safety box for some DP, don't worry about it" I am quick to calm her worries, they also rent towels and swimwear so that is good for an emergency.
Going up to the cabin I pay the cost for both Jasmine and me, renting the spaces for the rest of the night.
Going to the male section of the cabin, I leave my shirt, sandals, and necklace, I could leave my deck boxes here, but I am not that stupid.
Calling Joan with a thought, I pass her both of them making them immaterial and invisible.
I know what I did when I called everyone in the academy out, my fellow students will want to take me down a peg or two from my perceived arrogance, the series has also shown multiple instances, in which someone's deck is either stolen or destroyed.
Neither of those would work with Joan at my side, of course, the best they would get are permanent injuries.
But that would be a hassle and would also call a lot of attention to me, so I'd rather skip it altogether and just hide my decks.
If someone tries to steal them, I will just beat the shit out of them myself.
This does make me wonder how the rest of my Duel Spirits are doing.
(At the same time Jack's Bedroom)
THE Splendid Venus POV
"You foolish little human girl, the clearly superior choice for a life mate is the one known as Vincent" Humans truly don't think things through, Vincent is clearly the more powerful of the bunch.
"George is better" Listening to the murmured comment from my fellow duel spirit, I couldn't help the frown that crossed my face before I snorted.
Silent Magician is practically a human anyways, same for Pikeru.
Looking at said young (Or young for duel spirit standards) duel spirit, I see that she has stopped bouncing on their... partner's bed and is now in what Silent Magician described as a 'food coma'.
Typical Humanoid spirit weakness, who needs to eat anyway?
Getting her attention called to the screen, I see that the little girl has wisely chosen Vincent.
"Told you so!" No, she wasn't being childish she is a legendary representation of one of this galaxy's celestial bodies, shut up.
(Back to Jack)
I am sure they are fine
Getting out of the cabin I see that Jasmine has gotten away with her sarong showing the bottom part of her bikini.
That is one great ass indeed.
Seeing her turn around, and getting caught staring was slightly embarrassing but I just play into it.
It isn't like she wasn't staring at me earlier
"You look great Jasmine want to go take a feel of the water," I say while walking to the ocean, nothing like the feel of saltwater on your skin.
(2 Hours Later)
Barely getting into the restaurant on time for our reservation Jasmine and I couldn't stop laughing, at the rush we had to get here.
Thankfully the restaurant isn't all that fancy (For Kaiba standards at least) and it is also filled with other dumb teenagers, so we weren't reprimanded or anything.
The service here is also top tier and we got our food ordered just after arriving, a chicken pesto sandwich for Jasmine and a Double cheeseburger with rustic fries for me.
I am a simple man when it comes to food,
"So, Jack I must admit that I have some questions I wanted to ask you, just curious is all" Jasmine started while we waited for the food.
"Shoot" I ain't nothing to hide that she had any business being able to ask anyways.
"Well first of all, do you think you can beat Zane Truesdale in a duel?" Mhm, I suppose I did kind of say that in my Announcement™.
"I don't think so, I know so, Zane is a great duelist with a good deck, but that still isn't enough to beat me, he is a victim of his own success." Seeing her raise an eyebrow I elaborated.
"He has amassed this reputation as an unstoppable force, 'The Hell Kaiser' how scary no? But it is exactly because of that reputation that he can't grow as a duelist" Jasmine tilted her head 'So cute!' but seemed to start getting what I was saying.
"No one is brave enough to duel him, even the most arrogant Obelisk Blue's act like lapdogs for him, he has no competition, and probably hasn't had any for years, this has caused him to grow comfortable, he probably hasn't fine-tuned his deck in months if not years, and that is why I think I can not only beat him but crush him."
Jasmine's eyes widen at my explanation, though there was a part of Zane's story I couldn't tell her.
Atticus Rhodes was Zane's rival and best friend, his disappearance has probably deeply affected him, so his antisocial tendencies make much more sense when you know this.
"I see, I never thought about it like that, still don't think that duel would be as easy as you make it seem though" She held a challenging gleam in her eye, like if she wanted me to go challenge Zane right now.
"Maybe it wouldn't be, maybe he would be able to surprise and put more of a fight than I expect, but the end result would be the same." At the end of the day, anything can happen, but I just don't see Zane's chances against me being all that favorable.
"Fair enough, next question then" I gave her a nod showing I was ready for it "You claimed that you are the best duelist on the island, so what are your plans when you are out of the island? Maybe you want to be King of Games like most other people here?"
That one is a slightly loaded question, she is practically asking me what I want to do with my life.
Honestly at the start, when I got here, I was mostly moving from inertia, going to Duel Academy just felt like something I had to do.
Beating people in a duel is satisfying no doubt, and Duel Monsters is a hobby that I enjoy a lot, as well as a tool that I know, will keep me safe.
But honestly, I don't think I want to spend the rest of my life dueling people.
"I honestly don't care about being the King of Games all that much, would I duel Yugi Moto if I could? Absolutely, but that is more for the experience than anything else" I say making her eyes widen before they focused intensely on me.
"Then what DO you want?" She asked the point of her first question directly.
Honestly, the process of living in this reality has been so seamless.
I have always been the kind of person who goes with the flow of things, I adapt quickly it is my biggest strength.
Even still it took me some time to accept what Joan told me on our first meeting.
When she found me, I was just a soul.
The implications were not lost on me, they were just difficult to accept.
I was dead, when she found me, my body at least was gone.
I don't even remember how I died, and I am not even sure if I want to know.
Even with all the power that this world could potentially give me, I am not sure I could go back to my previous world.
And I don't want to, at least not completely, as much as I miss my family and to a lesser extent my friends.
I am not willing to abandon Joan, and I am not even sure what would happen to her if I somehow managed to cross into my original world, there isn't any duel energy there after all.
So, I decided to accept a very simple fact, I am staying here for good.
"Honestly Jasmine, being a professional duelist would be fun, and it would bring a lot of money which is my main reason for being one, but at the end of the day, the only thing I really want is a family" I stated with a smile.
"A family? Just that?" She asked incredulously.
"Of course not, I also want the money, but that is more so, I can make sure my family is well taken care of, my plan is simple, become a pro duelist, kick-ass make bank, and retire to obscurity with enough money to make sure that my children's children won't want for nothing in their lives."
Sure, glory and fame sound appealing but at the end of the day, I would much rather relax my life away in a mansion surrounded by loved ones, without a care in the world.
"I can see the appeal of that," Jasmine said with a soft smirk before our food arrived.
The rest of the date passed without any other deep questions just two people enjoying themselves.
(1 Hour Later Outside Obelisk Blue Girl Dorm)
"This date has been fantastic Jack; I hope that the repeat is just as good," she said with a bright smile.
"Oh? Already assuming there will be a repeat?" I tease lightly, she has been a lot of fun to hang around with.
"I don't think so, I know so" She answered throwing my earlier words at my face.
I hear people behind her calling out, seems Mindy and Alexis were waiting for her to return.
"I have to go Jack but before I do I think you h-have earned yourself a reward" She was smiling but clearly nervous.
The reason why was apparent when she grabbed me from the back of my head and pulled me into a quick kiss.
It only lasted for two seconds before she pulled us apart and dashed to her friends in embarrassment.
I could see Mindy throwing me a thumbs up and squealing from here.
I touched my lips and started silently laughing to myself, cheeky.
I was on my way to the Male Obelisk Blue Dorm when Joan informed me that there was someone outside of my dorm.
"They don't seem all that aggressive they most likely want to talk to you.
Reaching the dorm, I go through to my room to find who Joan was speaking off.
"Now what do I owe the Hell Kaiser for visiting little all me" Really though what the fuck does he want, I have a bed waiting for me.
"I have decided to answer the challenge you started Jack, claiming to be the best duelist in the academy was a bold claim, so the consequence is me, we are going to duel unless you are scared of course" So that is what this is.
I couldn't stop the snort though.
"Do you think I am so bullheaded that the simplest attack to my ego makes me rush into things? If you want to duel me, you will have to pay and wait like everybody else, I heard that the list has grown quite large though so it will probably take some time"
He seemed stunned for a second before a light glare came into his face.
"You want to tax the best duelist in the academy for the right to duel you?" He asked with an incredulous tone of voice.
"You aren't the best duelist, but yeah essentially that's it, if you think I will treat you differently just because of your popularity on this island then you are dumber than the people that follow you like lost puppies" I spit with a glare of my own.
"Have I done something to deserve this anger?" He asked genuinely curious, I guess people don't insult him to his face all that much anymore.
"A couple of things, yes, but the price would stay the same, I created a list for a reason you know, the last thing I need are Obelisk Blue's thinking they can jump their places on the list."
Alright, I am also fucking with him, but he also rubs me the wrong way.
This guy has been a major asshole to his brother most of his life, just because he isn't a great duelist, he seemed to treat Jaiden more as a brother than Syrus at times.
I have been hanging out with Syrus, Jaiden, and Chumley a lot since I arrived here.
They are all good kids at heart, sure Syrus can be perverted, Chumley lazy, and Jaiden stupid at times.
But they are teens, that is to be expected.
The point is Zane has been treating his family like trash, out of an elitist mindset that he thinks is helping his brother when it's actuality he that is a key part of Syrus's confidence issues.
And there are a few people that anger me more than those who fight their own family.
Always has been like that, and it has only gotten worse since I lost my first family.
"I don't suppose that I can convince you to duel me tonight then?" He seemed really disappointed.
Should I duel him? I mean if he puts his name on the list and waits, I will duel him, I am a man of my word after all.
So, it isn't a matter of if, it is a matter of when.
And as many personal problems that I may have with him, at the end of the day he could be useful when it comes to enemies we will face.
As Joan said when we were planning, rogue agents are some of the most dangerous.
Stopping Zane from going into his Sadomasochistic rabbit hole will be for the best of everyone involved. And beating him in a duel and making sure he takes it well, is the best way to guarantee that.
The deciding factor was the simple fact that this would be the first truly major change that I would bring to this world.
Sure, I have been a lot of people and garnering a name for myself, but that will mean nothing when shit really hits the fan and people start dying or getting mind fucked.
Guess tonight I change the future.
That doesn't mean I won't profit though.
"Okay, I will duel you." He seemed cautious from my easy agreement after everything.
"The cost of entry will be tripled though, so if you want to, you just have to cough up 15000DP," I say casually.
His exasperated expression almost makes him interrupting me less annoying.
"Sure, that amount is small in comparison to what I have amassed on my years on this island, you are greedy aren't you?" He asks rhetorically.
"The duelist arena #5 and the adjacent ones are empty no one would interrupt us, be there in 15 minutes." The taller Truesdale said before leaving.
I almost want to call people to see the duel, but that would go against my reasons to agree to this duel in the first place.
Seeing him leave I enter my dorm and I am greeted by the sight of Pikeru unconscious on the couch buried under a blanket of sweet wrappers, will have to teach her to control herself.
Checking my supposedly more mature duel spirits, I catch Venus and Silent Magician watching a series I can't recognize.
"I knew Vincent was going to cheat on her from the start" I hear coming from Venus.
Judging from the face Silent Magician is making there is probably a story behind it.
"Venus, Joan! We have an important duel at our hands get ready to rumble, and someone please dig out Pikeru from there for fucks sake!" My spirits snap into attention before nodding.
Seeing Venus hesitate before leaving, I grow slightly irritated "You can leave that show to record, Venus we have to go!"
Going in front of her and leaving it recording, I see Venus throw Silent Magician a warning look before disappearing into my deck that Joan brought to me.
Putting the deck in its box in my belt and grabbing my duel disk from the corner I leave the room with haste.
I have an idiot to teach, let's just hope he doesn't grow to enjoy getting punished.

Looking around the arena I see that it is just a smaller version of the one in the academy building proper.
Seeing my opponent at the end of the arena standing all dramatic with his back turned to me, I couldn't help the sigh that left me.
Even if more mature he is still a dramatic teen.
"Well, there is nobody here so we will get some privacy at least." The lighting is pretty good here.
"Anyways we have a duel to attend to don't we, I will let you go second," I say walking to stand opposite to him, inserting my deck in my duel disk feeling it thrum to life.
"I hope you give me a good challenge Jack it has been a long time since I have had one." I could give him a generic be careful what you asked for speech, but I am honestly too tired for it
"Yeah, yeah whatever, let's just get on with this DUEL!"

"I draw" I can work with this most definitely "I summon Seraphin Blaster in attack position"
Seraphin Blaster (Level 4/ Fairy/ Light/ 1800 ATK/ 1200 DEF)
The first monster of the duel appeared on the field pointing their rifle straight at Zane's face.
"I will also set two face-down cards and end my turn" A simple start, but a solid one in my ever so humble opinion.
Turn 2
"Draw, you must have known what you were getting into when you let me go second Jack, so I won't hesitate, I special summon Cyber Dragon from my hand with its effect due to not having any monster on the field while you do"
Cyber Dragon (Level 5/ Machine/ Light/ 2100 ATK/ 1600 DEF)
"I will also set two cards face down, before declaring battle, targeting your Seraphin Blaster!"
Cyber Dragon charged its attack throwing a laser beam straight at my monster.

"And with that, I end my turn."
Turn 3
"Draw, I activate the effect of Hecatrice, which lets me discard it from my hand to bring the continuous spell card Valhalla Hall of the Fallen to my hand, I will be activating it now!" I say after sending the monster to the graveyard.
"Not so fast Jack! I activate the counter trap card Magic Jammer, which allows me to negate the activation of a spell at the cost of discarding a card"
Before the field could take the familiar appearance of one of my most powerful cards, the image of the card on the field sparked and failed, sending it to the graveyard.
"You are too dependent on that card Jack, while powerful, it won't allow you to easily win every duel, especially since your deck has so many high-level monsters" Someone has been watching.
"I Special Summon Soul of Purity and light from my hand by removing Seraphin Blaster and Hecatrice from play, I can special summon too you know?"
Soul of Purity and Light (Level 6 / Fairy/ Light/ 2000 ATK/ 1800 DEF)
An ethereal almost naked woman appeared on the field, at least she used her wings to cover herself.
I am always looking for more cards to improve my deck and she was at a reasonable price.
"I will also be summoning Gellenduo in attack mode"
Gellenduo (Level 4/Fairy/ Light/ ATK 1700/ DEF 0)
"I will go to my battle phase and attack with my Soul of Purity and Light at Cyber Dragon and thanks to her effect its attack is reduced by 300 hundred!"
"I am afraid I will have to interrupt you, I activate Attack Reflector Unit which allows me to tribute a Cyber Dragon to special summon one Cyber Barrier Dragon from my hand or deck, and I will be summoning one from my deck in defense position"
Cyber Dragon turned into pillars of light before dissolving completely leaving behind a much bulkier version of it.
Cyber Barrier Dragon (Level 6/ Machine/ Light/ 800 ATK/ 2800 DEF)
"I cancel my attack! I shouted making my monster stop its charge.
"I end my turn" How annoying.
Turn 4
"Draw, I activate the spell card Future Fusion sending the required fusion Material from my deck to the graveyard, and I will be sending my other two Cyber Dragon, to fusion summon Cyber Twin Dragon!"
From out of nowhere a cyber dragon with an additional neck and head appeared.
Cyber Twin Dragon (Level 8/ Machine / Light / 2800 ATK/ 2100 DEF)
"The only caveat is that it can't attack this turn, but I can wait, I change my Barrier Dragon into attack position and end my turn"
Turn 5
"Draw, I activate Pot of Greed drawing two cards" Seeing the cards I drew, a plan was already formulating in my head. "I activate Pot of Greed once more!"
Drawing two more cards, sadly I didn't draw a third.
"I sacrifice Gellenduo using its effect to summon my pride and soul Guardian Angel Joan to the field"
Guardian Angel Joan (Level 8/ Light / Fairy/ATK 2800/ DEF 2000)
Joan appeared in a shower of feathers before glaring in the direction of my opponent.
"Battle!, Guardian Angel Joan attack Cyber Twin Dragon, and thanks to Soul of Purity and Light effect its attack is reduced by 300. Holy Nova!"
"I activate Cyber Barrier Dragon's effect, once per turn while it is in attack position, I can negate an attack" Joan's attack was interrupted from a laser courtesy of Zane's Dragon.
"That only leaves your Barrier Dragon wide open for an attack from my Soul of Purity and Light!" My weaker monster charged Zane's dragon shattering it with ease.

"And with that, I end my turn"
Turn 6
"Draw, this duel is nearing its Crescendo Jack I hope you are ready, I attack your Soul of Purity and Light with my Twin Cyber Dragon!"
Jack Greywarden LP: 2900
"And the second attack will go to your Ace monster, Joan!" He is planning to crash into her?!
"I activate my Trap Card Draining Shield which turns your monster's attack points into my advantage!"
Jack Greywarden LP: 4700
"You aren't bad at playing defense Jack but there is more to dueling than that, I end my turn"
Turn 7
"Draw, I set a face down card and end my turn."
I can feel it, he is going for a big play next turn I will just have to bunker down and see what happens.
Turn 8
"Draw, this is the end of our duel Jack you were a worthy challenger" What the fuck does he have in his hands right now?
"I activate Overload Fusion, which allows me to Special Summon one Machine type fusion monster using monsters from both the Graveyard and the field, I will be using my three Cyber Dragons my Cyber Twin Dragon, and my Cyber Barrier Dragon to Summon Chimeratech Overdragon in attack mode."
Chimeratech Overdragon (Level 9/ Light/ Machine/ 4000 ATK/ 4000 DEF)
"It also gains 800 attack points and one attack for each monster use in its fusion summon! This is the end, Jack!" Man, that card sure looks cool, it is a shame that I will...
"I activate the trap card Bottomless Trap Hole which allows me to remove from play a monster with 1500 Attack points or more when it is summoned! And I think we can agree that your dragon qualifies Zane" The comically big hole appears under Zane's second Boss monster before it deactivates.
"Just what I expected from you Jack, but I activate De-Fusion which allows me to split a fusion monster into its materials and summon them back!"
Five Dragons appeared on the field, man what a pain in the ass.
"But that is not all, I activate the Spell Card Power Bond which allows me to special summon one Machine type Fusion monster while doubling its attack, I will use it to Fusion Summon, my Original Boss monster, come forth Cyber End Dragon!"
Cyber End Dragon (Level 10/ Light/ Machine / 8000 ATK/ 2800 DEF)
"Cyber End Dragon, attack Guardian Angel Joan for game" Never had I felt more grateful for a sandwich than before.
"From my hand, I activate Honest! By discarding this monster, I can add, an opponent's monster's attack points to one of my own Light attribute monsters" Honest appeared above Joan increasing her power exponentially, she was shining like a Sun her wing stretched from one end of the arena to the other.
"What!" Zane exclaimed unbalanced for the first time in the duel.
Guardian Angel Joan (Level 8/ Light / Fairy/ATK 10800/ DEF 2000)
He could possibly use Cyber Barrier Dragon's effect and stop the attack but that would leave him to suffer Power Bond's cost, losing him the duel.
When Cyber Dragon reached Joan and unleashed its attack all Joan had to do was walk through the attack and flick her finger at Cyber End Dragon's chest...
Caving it in, that was so fucking hot.

Looking at Zane, I see that he is catatonic.
Fuck me this is going to be a lot of work.
I guess I brought this into myself.
