The tenth chapter is here and I'm glad at how well this story has gone. I want to thank everyone for their support and the reviews for the story. I appreciate it and I want to thank my friend for his help on the story. He is glad how well the story has gone and how people have left for the reviews.

We are getting close to the arrival of the Zords. I'm sure many know which Zords the Rangers will use, but for those who are concern on how the Zord will be like. Well, let's just say they will be different than from the series. How exactly?

You'll find out as the story goes on. I don't own anything of Power Rangers or Star Wars just my OC and also thanks to my friend for his help on coming up with some OCs for the story too, thanks. Let the next chapter started and we hope you enjoy this.

Decision

The Resolute

Ahsoka enters the hanger bay after getting dressed into some warm clothes. It's a good thing she brought her jacket, otherwise she would end up freezing on the planet. She looks over and sees Anakin speaking to the soldiers. She walks over and listens in on the conversation.

"We aren't sure what happened, but we assume the base on Hoth was attacked," said Anakin as he explains the situation to the clones. "Before losing transmission we received a message from the archeologist who found something in a nearby mountain on the planet. After that we lost transmission."

Fives, one of the Clones raised his hand. "Sir, are we sure the Separatist aren't responsible? It wouldn't be the first time they attacked one of our bases without us knowing about it."

Fives recalls his time on the Rishi outpost station that was made to alert Kamino of an attack from the Separatist. He was stationed there with the rest of the Domino Squad that he was a part of. There was Hevy, Droidbait, Cutup, Echo, and himself. They weren't the perfect team on Kamino, but after working together they passed through training.

Their job on the outpost wasn't the most exciting place to be, especially since they haven't fought any droids. Then their base was attacked by Separatist droids that were inside meteor rocks that landed on the planet. That attacked cost Droidbait, Cutup, and Hevy's lives, leaving only him and Echo was the last members of their squad. That was until Echo was killed months ago and left Fives as the last team member left alive.

"It's possible," said Anakin agreeing with Fives. "However, if they did the base would have contacted us and informed us of any Separatist attacks. So we have to assume the Separatist wasn't behind this, until we find some proof."

"So our job is pretty much to go down there and find out what happened?" one of the clones asked.

Anakin nods his head and shows a holographic image of a Wampa. "We also believe that the base could have been attacked by these creatures. For those who don't know what these are, then pay attention as Captain Rex explains."

Rex removes his helmet and starts talking. "The Wampas are natives of the planet and are extremely dangerous. They can stand around 8 feet and 2 inches. They are fast, strong, have razor sharp claws, teeth, and are tough to take down. So if you encounter one hit them in the head and they'll go down fast, if you miss…well you don't want to know what happens if they take you back alive."

Anakin steps in and continues talking. "The base reported encountering several Wampas before, but they always managed to hold them off. We assume they got into the base somehow and attacked. I don't believe they're all dead, so we will go in and rescue them."

"While also searching for the missing archeologist," said Tarkin as he enters the room and walks in front of the troops. "If you encounter any hostile agents then you have orders to kill, understood?"

The clones nod their heads and spoke in unison. "Yes sir."

Tarkin turns towards Skywalker. "I trust we're ready for takeoff?"

Anakin nods his head and turns towards Ahsoka. "Ahsoka, you will go with Fives to find the missing archeologist."

"You got it and master and be careful," said Ahsoka.

"You too Ahsoka," replies Anakin.

Endor

Jake, Rachel, Rick, Lux, and Barriss are waiting in the command room with Alpha 8, while Nathan speaks with Zane. They talk in the next room about the kids becoming the new Power Rangers and if they should remain with the power.

The room the adults are in is Zane's office talking about what happened. Inside the room there is a desk with two chairs, a book case, and glass cases that contain the morphers of all the past Rangers. Next to the morphers are pictures of the past Rangers and their names. Nathan looks at one of the pictures and lets out a sigh, while Zane speaks.

"I know you care about them and the last thing you want is to put them in danger. But, after what you've seen and how well they did I thought you would reconsider."

Nathan lets out a small sigh as he puts the picture down. "They did well I know that, but I'm still not sure."

"How about if we train them together?" asked Zane. "Would you reconsider then?"

Nathan turns around to faces Zane. "Like have them be ready for anything? Even against someone like Damien?"

Zane sees Nathan's point and nods. "So, that's a no then?"

Nathan shook his head. "This is their choice. If they want to be the Power Rangers, then that's fine. As long as I'm around to help keep an eye on them"

Zane nods again. "Of course, I wouldn't send them on a mission without supervision. When their ready though, will you let them go out on their own?"

"If I know their ready, then yes," responds Nathan as sits down on one of the seats. "Of course I need to tell Alexis about this and see if she'll be okay with it."

"I know," responds Zane as he walks towards the glass cases. "I already spoke to our friends who sent Lux and Barriss. They agreed to let them remain Rangers, but they must be careful."

Nathan nods in agreement. "I take it you told them about keeping this whole thing a secret?"

Zane shook his head. "I haven't gotten to that part yet. I was hoping you can help me with that."

Nathan lets out a small laugh and nods his head. "I'll help, but it's going to be tough for a Jedi like Barriss to keep this a secret."

"It has been done before," said Zane who reminded Nathan.

"Yeah," replies Nathan admitting his friend is right. "But, she's not like our friends."

"No your right," said Zane. "Hopefully though she'll be able to handle this like our friend did."

"Yeah," said Nathan agreeing with his friend. "Except I'll make sure she doesn't end up getting killed."

Hoth

Five gunships head towards the Republic base before the snow storm can hit them. It wouldn't hit them for another hour, so they had to work fast before they get stuck.

Their ships were not meant to handle a snow storm like the one that was heading their way. The cold would freeze their fuel lines and would cause them to crash. The Republic ships stayed in orbit in case any Separatist ships head their way. It was unlikely, but they couldn't risk it.

The five gunships arrive to the base and find it to be in ruins. They look around and see most of the buildings have been demolished, the vehicles are torn apart, and the entrance to the base looks like was melted open. Skywalker could tell this wasn't the work of the Separatist or the Wampas. If it was there would be bodies or remains everywhere.

Looking around, they couldn't find any bodies. This was starting to get strange. They did find some black ashes, but they don't think it means anything. They head towards the command building and find it to be in one piece.

"You think the men are inside?" Rex asked towards Skywalker.

Anakin looks around unsure. "There is only one way to find out."

They head inside and see the lights are still on. There are blaster burn marks on the walls and more ashes on the floor. They make it to the command room and see it's empty. The equipment looks to be in one piece, but there isn't any sign of any bodies anywhere.

"Something doesn't feel right," said Rex who felt uneasy.

Anakin nods in agreement. "I sense something bad happened in here. I can sense a lot of pain and suffering."

Tarkin however didn't seem to care. "Let us see what happened then by reviewing the security footage." He turns towards another clone. "Log into the computer and find out what happened in here."

The Clone does as the admiral tells him, while Skywalker approaches him. "Tarkin, we'll need to remain cautious. Whatever attacked the base may be nearby."

"I highly doubt that," said Tarkin brushing off what Skywalker says. "It's obvious the men here got sloppy and if whatever attacked the base comes back, we'll be ready."

"You better be right," said Anakin as the Clone finished getting the footage.

"Now, let's see what happened," said Tarkin as holographic images begin appearing.

So far everything looks like it was going okay. Suddenly the alarm starts going off and the group begins hearing a loud roar. They couldn't see what was attacking the Clones, but they could hear the soldiers being killed, and they can hear them let out a blood curdling scream. And then without warning a Clone is thrown towards the camera before they lost the footage.

"What just happened?" Rex asked.

"I don't know," said Anakin who didn't like this. "Whatever made that noise was no Wampa."

Tarkin nods in agreement. "We'll need to look around and make sure this thing is not here."

"Right," Anakin turns towards Rex. "Take the men and inspect the area. We don't want whatever did this to come back."

Rex nods his head. "Yes sir."

As the Clones left Anakin lets out a small sigh. Ahsoka, be careful.

Rhen Var

Damien returns to his base where he sees the robots fixing the temple up. Looking around he sees the room looks brand new and he can feel the heat flowing through the room. He removes his cloak and approached his throne. He sits down and lets out a small sigh.

"Now this feels more like it."

"Do you like what we've done to the place master?" Damien looks over to see Torus entering the room. "After you were sealed away, Vampira and I followed your orders to find a new base of command in case Zane sealed you away. It took us a while, but we found this place."

"And yet you didn't go out to look for me," said Damien who's temper grew a little.

Torus out of fear explains what happened. "We did find you master, but Zane's magic kept us from breaking you out. However, I came up with a brilliant plan."

Vampira appears from behind and smacks Torus in the back of the head. "I came up with the plan…idiot."

Damien lets out a small chuckle. "Go ahead m dear, explain."

Vampira bows her head before explaining. "We knew the only way for you to break free is if a non-magical begins broke you free. So, we left clues behind so that the creatures of this universe would go out and break you free. Of course by this time Zane suspected we were here so we came back to the base and froze ourselves before he could find us."

"And you couldn't unfreeze?" Damien asked getting a no from his two subjects. "You two are lucky you served me well in the past. Otherwise you both would suffer a fate worse than death."

The two gave a small whimper as they back away from their master. Damien stands up and walks towards his dark viewing globe.

"I need to find out everything about this universe, before I can make my appearance. Obviously attacking these small planets won't be enough, especially if we have no allies."

"What of the Hutts?" Torus asked.

"They are useful, but I need a stronger ally," said Damien.

Damien knew he couldn't risk attacking this galaxy without an army. He may have his robots, but they aren't enough to conquer all the planets. He couldn't risk sending out all his monsters since he needs them to destroy the Power Rangers. They may be rookies, but he couldn't underestimate them.

He also needs to find out more about the Sith and Jedi he has been hearing about. While he was on Tatooine he confronted one of Jabba's loyal subjects who asked if he was a Jedi. And again he was asked while on Nal Hutta if he was a Sith. He has to assume whoever these groups are might pose a threat to him or could become allies.

He begins looking into his globe, which shows him an image of the planet he escaped from. He sees a group of soldiers entering the base he attacked earlier. The image turns towards a young man in his 20's with a scar over right eye. Damien can sense a lot of dark energy coming from this young man, including a great power.

Damien strokes his chin, intrigued by this young man. "Vampira, I want you to go to the planet and find this young man."

Vampira sees the young man and smiles. "He looks cute. Do you want me to kill him?"

Damien shook his head. "I need you to test his blood and tell me what you find."

He then sees an image of an alien orange skin girl with more soldiers heading towards the mountains. Damien recognized it as the same one he escaped from.

"If you find any remains of those creatures I killed. Use your magic and have these people killed," said Damien.

An evil sadistic smile appears across Vampira's face. "It shall be done, my master."

Hoth

Three gunships arrive outside the mountains. They land outside a large cave where they see the equipment of the archeologist. Ahsoka leaves the gunship with the soldiers and look around for any signs of the archeologist. She notices some impressions made in the snow.

She kneels down and could see what made the impression. Fives noticed the commander looking at the snow and goes to see what she found.

"What did you find, commander?"

Ahsoka points to the snow. "I think this is where the archeologist had their ship."

Fives sees the impression and agrees with the commander. "So, do you think they took off?"

Ahsoka shook her head as she looks back at the equipment. "Why didn't they take their stuff with them?" I doubt they would leave it behind."

Five again agrees with the Jedi Commander. "So, you think someone attacked them and took the ship?"

"Maybe," Ahsoka wasn't sure since she couldn't find any footprints in the snow. "We'll have to look inside to find out."

"I wouldn't do that commander," explains one of the Clone troopers coming out of the cave. "We found something."

Ahsoka walks towards the cave to find out what the Clone is talking about. Inside she lets out a small gasp when she finds a pile of dead, skinless bodies. The Clones were also shocked, but tried to find out what happened. One Clone finds some horns nearby that look like they were removed from the bodies.

"Commander," called the Clone. "I think these things are the Wampas."

"No way," disagreed Fives. "There's got to be ten of them. I doubt the archeologist could have killed them all."

Another Clone agrees with Fives. "And if they did, why did they skin them?"

Ahsoka has another theory. "They didn't do this. If they did, where are the bodies?"

"You think someone or something else did this?" asked Fives.

Ahsoka nods her head and looks down the tunnel, which looked man made. "Let's find out what the archeologist found."

Endor

Nathan finished talking to the kids and how proud he is on how well they did on Tatooine. He was impressed with how they fought, how they held their own against the robots, and their teamwork when they defeated Gila. However, he tells them that being Power Rangers is a lot of responsibility and if they choose to remain Rangers they will need to keep their power a secret. Not just for their safety, but for those they are about.

The kids knew all this and told Nathan they accepted their responsibilities the moment they agreed to help him. Nathan is glad for that, but he warns that they have to keep their identities a secret, even from those close to them.

"If Damien finds out your secrets, he will do whatever it takes to kill you. He'll even hurt the people you care about just to make you pay."

Zane nods in agreement with Nathan. "And he'll do it. I know keeping this a secret from everyone will be hard. Trust us. It's for their safety and for the safety of those around them."

The kids look at each other and knew Zane was right. From what he told them about Damien, they can't risk putting anyone at risk. Jake didn't want to lie to Ahsoka, but knew for her safety he had to keep this a secret. Nathan turns towards Lux and Barriss wondering if they are sure about their decision.

"Lux, Barriss," began Nathan. "Are you guys sure you want to do this? I know you don't want to lie to anyone, especially you Barriss. I know you wouldn't want to lie to the Jedi Order about all of this. However, if you agree to this then that is something you'll have to do to keep them safe."

Barriss knew he was right. She was a Jedi who obeys the rules and wouldn't lie to the council. However, as of late she has been conflicted. The Order has changed and she feels they have allowed themselves to fall off the path of the Jedi.

Lying to them is not the right thing to do, but if doing this will help people then she should risk it.

"I don't want to be a soldier anymore. I want to go back to helping people. So, if doing this will help protect them and help stop Damien, then I'll do it."

Nathan approaches her and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Thank you and if you need any help, come see us."

Barriss nods her head. "Thank you."

Nathan turns towards Lux. "You sure you want to do this?"

Lux nods his head before responding. "My mother was killed and I couldn't do anything to save her, because I was weak. I joined the rebellion to try to get stronger and save my home. I failed again this time to save a friend. Now, I have a chance to make sure that doesn't happen again and with my friends helping me. I know I will protect everyone."

Nathan nods his head and pats the boy on his back. "Just remember, don't misuse your power. We don't use it for selfish reasons or for revenge. It's to protect everyone."

Lux understands and knows Nathan is right. "Thank you Nathan and I won't let you down."

"So, dad," began Jake getting his father's attention. "When do we go hunt down Damien?"

Nathan lets out a small laugh. "You guys are not ready for him. I need to train you five so you know how to control your powers and summon your Zords."

"Zords?" said the kids in unison.

Zane walks up and talks. "Listen well, because what I have to say is important."

Hoth

A dark light appears on the planet causing some Tauntaun nearby to run off. The light vanished and Vampira appears with a group of ten robot soldiers. She uses her eyesight to see from a great distance. She can see over by the mountains where the soldiers are at.

Looking at the opposite direction, far from the mountains she finds the other group of soldiers at the destroyed military base. She could easily destroy all of them, but she knew she had to spare the human her master told her about. At least until she finds out why her master wants him.

She looks deep in the mountain and finds a pile of dead bodies. She begins formulating a plan and figures out a way to take care of the pests in the mountain.

Pulling out a green vial she turns towards her soldiers and hands it to one of them. "Pour this all over the dead bodies in the mountain. After that make sure no one leaves the area alive."

The robots nod their heads and head towards the mountains. Vampira turns towards the military base and released her wings. "Ready or not, here I come."

Not good for the Jedi and their clones huh? Think they will be able to handle whatever Vampira throws their way? Will the Rangers arrive to help them on time? And why is Damien interested in Anakin? Find out next time to see what happens next.
