Chapter 14 is here and we have arrived to the first day of April. I hope everyone's day is going well and they haven't gotten prank by anyone. If you got someone instead then good work and you survived. I want to thank my friend for his help on this and all you guys for all the great reviews.

Battle in Theeds part 1

Naboo

A speeder heads towards the middle of the city carrying a crate behind it. There are no signs of any guards around or clones since they are focused where the people are at near the palace. Vampira gets off her speeder and opens the back of the crate. Kappa appears and lets out a loud burp.

"Quiet you idiot," said Vampira as she smacks the monster in the back of the head. "We don't want people to know we're here…yet."

Kappa nods his head and throws the arm of a dead Gungan he killed back into the crate. "Sorry, I was hungry."

"Well save it for later," she snaps her finger as the robot soldiers appeared. "Kappa, take the robots and attack the people. I'll go find the Jedi and lure them away from the boss man himself."

"Okay," Kappa then remembers something. "What if the Power Rangers are here?"

An evil smile appears across Vampira's face. "Kill them all."

Meanwhile

The people have gathered around near the palace in Theeds. Chancellor Palpatine is standing by with the leader of the Gungans, Boss Rugor Nass and the representative for the Gungans, Jar-Jar Binks. Next to them is the Queen of Naboo, Neeyutnee and Senator Padme Amidala. Nearby the Jedi are watching the event, while keeping a look out.

Alexis and her family are nearby watching as well. Alexis didn't want to stand next to Palpatine since the two still have problems with one another.

"Welcome everyone," greeted Chancellor Palpatine towards the people. "We are gathered here today to give thanks to the heroes who saved our home years ago from the Trade Federation. We are also here to remember the fallen that died and gave their lives to save our home."

The people all nod their heads, even Obi Wan. He knew one of those heroes is Anakin for destroying the Trade Federation ship to help shut down the droid army. The other was Qui-Gon Jinn who helped Obi Wan defeat Darth Maul. They say Kenobi is the hero who defeated the Sith, but he knew his master was the true hero.

If it wasn't for his teachings and his lightsaber he wouldn't have succeeded in defeating Maul. He owes him everything and he wish he was still here.

While the chancellor gives his speech the communicator of the Rangers begins ringing. The good thing for Barriss is she has her in silent so the Jedi couldn't hear it. Zane made sure to add that feature for the kids to use so they wouldn't be caught. It has come in handy a lot.

Barriss noticed Rachel giving the signal that something is wrong. She couldn't leave however, not without the Jedi suspecting something. She motioned for them to go on without her. Knowing they don't have a choice they decided they decided to try to leave.

"Mom," Rachel whispered quietly towards her mother.

Alexis knew what was wrong and replies quietly. "Go somewhere and find out what's wrong."

The kids nod and take off without anyone noticing. Nathan turns to his wife who looks concern.

"I'll join them as soon as the speech is over."

Alexis nods her head. "Damien sure picked a good time to cause trouble."

Nathan nods his head. "Bad guys always seem to do that."

Meanwhile

The kids found an empty room in the palace and there was no one around. Once they were sure they were in the clear they contact Alpha.

"What's wrong?" Jake asked.

"Rangers, we have detected another one of Damien's monsters on the planet of Naboo," the kids looked at each other concerned.

"Alpha," began Rachel. "We're on Naboo. Are you saying the monster is coming to the city?"

"No," Alpha replied. "I'm saying the monster is in the city. You need to find it before it's too late."

"Where is it?" Lux asked knowing the monster could be anywhere.

"I don't know," said Alpha. "I'll try to get you the location soon. I'm sorry, that's all I can do."

"It's okay Alpha," said Rick. "Just try to find it soon and we'll stop the monster."

"Wait, did it come alone?" Rachel asked causing the others to think the same thing.

"No," said Alpha. "It brought company."

Palace

Barriss waits for the chancellor to finish his speech before she can go join the others. She'll also have to make sure Ahsoka doesn't follow her since she can't risk her knowing she is a Power Ranger. The good thing for her is the chancellor is finishing up his speech. So, she'll be able to leave soon and find out what is going on.

"So, let us give thanks and let the festival, begin!"

The people begin applauding loudly as the fireworks are shot into the sky. As Barriss was about to leave, they hear something rumbling. They look up and see three large explosions in the sky. The people begin to panic, while the Jedi look on and could sense those explosions came from their ships.

"Rex," said Anakin as he turns to his Clone captain. "Take the chancellor, the queen, and the senators to safety."

"Yes sir," Captain Rex does as he is told and begins getting everyone to safety.

"Padawan Tano," began Master Windu. "Go with them and make sure they get to safety."

Ahsoka nods her head. "I will, but what about Senator Nite's children?"

The Jedi look over and noticed the kids are gone. Barriss approached the Jedi and use this chance to get away. "I'll find them and get bring them to safety."

Master Yoda agrees to this. "Go then, find and protect them you must."

Barriss nods her head and turns towards Ahsoka. "Good luck."

"You too," said Ahsoka as she takes off to join Rex and the others.

Obi Wan looks up and sees the destroyed ships. "What could have caused this?

A few minutes earlier

Five Republic starships are hovering over the planet looking out for any signs of trouble. So far everything was okay, but they couldn't let their guard down. They wanted to make sure no Separatist forces would try attacking the planet. That is why the Chancellor has placed Tarkin in charge of the ships.

Tarkin has been asked to come along and keep an eye out. He was asked if he wanted to come down to the festival, but he declined. He had a job to do and was going to focus on it. He looked out the viewing glass and was deep in his thoughts.

"Admiral," Tarkin turns around to face one of the Clones. "We've done a sweep of the area. Everything looks clear."

"Good," said Tarkin glad things are going his way. "Continue your work and make sure nothing gets passed us."

"Yes sir," they suddenly began receiving a transmission from one of the ships.

"We're being under attack!" one of the commanders shouted as he appears in hologram form. "Some sort of monster has entered the ship and is attacking everything."

"Calm down soldier," said Tarkin trying to keep the situation under control. "Tell your men to fall back and then-…"

Tarkin is interrupted when the transmission got lost and they looked out the ship to see the cruiser that was under attack, blew up. The explosion shook the other ships that were close to the destroyed ship.

"What just happened?" Tarkin asked surprised.

Suddenly another ship got destroyed, and another and a few minutes later another ship is destroyed leaving only two left. Tarkin calls for the soldiers to be on high alert and tries to contact the Jedi about the situation.

"Something is wrong sir," said one of the Clones as he tries to contact for help. "Something is jamming the frequency."

"Who or what is doing this?" Tarkin asked until they hear something nearby.

Looking over they see a dark portal appeared and a clone soldier stepping out, but then falls to the floor. As he tries to crawl away something appeared from the portal and crushed the Clone's back killing him. The Clones and Tarkin look on as a big Bull monster appeared. The Bull monster begins snorting smoke from its snout and his red eyes were staring at his next victims.

"More clones huh?" spoke the bull monster as it lets out a laugh. "Good, that means more for me to kill."

Theeds

The people began running as they tried to get to safety. The city's guards came out to help calm the situation down. They are then suddenly attacked by what appear to be robot soldiers that came from the rooftops. They begin shooting the guards who tried fighting back, but they were no match for the robots.

Three robots surrounded a mother and her daughter. They prepared to open fire, when Anakin and Obi Wan arrived slashing the robots. The Clones come by and help the mother and daughter to safety. The Jedi look over and see the robots now attacking the Clone troopers.

"Those aren't Separatist droids," said Anakin noticing the features of the robots.

"It doesn't matter," said Obi Wan as he uses the Force to knock off two robots away from the people. "Master Windu and Master Yoda are protecting the palace. We have to protect the people and take care of these things."

Anakin nods in agreement but before they can charge at the robots, he hears familiar laughter. The Jedi look up and see a pale skin woman sitting on a rooftop nearby.

"You," said Anakin in a dark tone.

The woman looks down and smiles. "Hello good looking. I told you we would keep in touch."

Obi Wan recalls the incident on Hoth and who Anakin encountered. "I take it you must be, Vampira?"

Vampira giggles at the older Jedi and nods her head. "That's right and I would ask who you are. But, I'm not interested in old men."

Obi Wan felt a little insulted that he is being called old. However, he shrugged it off and focused on the woman.

"I suggest you surrender. You can't beat both of us."

Vampira begins crawling off the roof and uses her claws to climb down against the wall. "I was holding back last time I fought your little friend. This time, I won't hold back."

Meanwhile

Barriss runs towards where her friends are and finds them outside the palace. "There you guys are. Have you seen what is going on?"

"We've noticed," said Rachel looking around to make sure they aren't seen. "Where's Ahsoka?"

"She's with your mother and the others," Barriss replied. "Their safe, but we need to help the people."

"The Jedi have the robots, but we have to find the monster," said Lux.

"He's right," Jake agreed. "We need to fight this monster and stop it."

"But where is it?" Barriss asked.

"Alpha just told us it's near the plaza," Rick replied. "We need to lure it out of the city."

"All right, let's do it then," said Jake as the kids take out their morphers.

"Wait," said Rachel noticing something is wrong. "What about dad?"

"We can't wait for him," said Lux knowing the more time they wait the more time people will get hurt.

"Lux is right," said Rick. "Nathan will have to catch up with us later."

Jake nods his head. He didn't like the idea of them fighting without his father, but they didn't have any choice.

"It's Morphin Time!" called all five Rangers in unison.

"Mastodon!"

"Pterodactyl!"

"Triceratops!"

"Sabertooth-Tiger!"

"Tyrannosaurus!"

Palace

The queen has been taken by her guards to safety, while Ahsoka takes the senators somewhere safe, and Rex takes the chancellor to the ship. She leads the senators towards a secured room where she has the Clones stay outside to secure the door.

"We should be okay here," said Ahsoka as she looks around to make sure the room its safe.

"What do you think is going on?" Padme as she sits down on one of the seats in the room.

Ahsoka wasn't sure herself either. "I'm thinking the Separatist are behind this."

"I doubt it," said Alexis as she removes her heel shoes. "If it is them we should have been warned about their arrival."

Ahsoka knew Alexis was right. Their Republic ships can detect if a ship is coming out of hyperspace. If the Separatist were behind the attack they would have been warned of their arrival. But, if they weren't behind the attacks then who is?

"We should try helping," sad Padme who wanted to help her people instead of hiding.

"I'm sorry Padme," said Ahsoka blocking the door from the senator. "But, I have a job to do and that's to protect you, Alexis, her husband…wait a minute, where's Nathan?"

Alexis noticed her husband is missing and didn't seem concern. "I guess he went to go look for the kids."

"I have to go find him then," said Ahsoka who tried to leave the room, but Alexis stops her. "Senator, please move. I'll be fine."

"Don't worry about my husband," said Alexis as she keeps Ahsoka from leaving. "So, go sit down and relax."

"Senator, please more or else I'll move you myself," said Ahsoka who sounds serious.

"Nathan can take care of himself and if he finds the kids he'll have Barriss looking out for him," Alexis explained as she sits down on a nearby sofa. "Trust me, they'll be fine."

Ahsoka wanted to go help her friends, but she knew Alexis was right. They have Barriss watching over them and she's sure they'll be safe.

"All right, I'll stay."

"Good," says Alexis as she motions Ahsoka to join her. "Anyways, let's just calm down and wait for things to be over."

Ahsoka sits down next to her. "Do you think they'll be all right?"

"Don't worry," says Alexis reassuring the young Jedi Padawan. "I have a feeling help is on the way…oh by the way next time you threaten me Ahsoka I will break your arm in a painful way, got it?"

Ahsoka remembers the stories Jake told her about how dangerous his mother is and how she could take on a Jedi. "I-I got it."

Plaza

Most of the people have gone to safety, but some ran past the plaza where they are attacked by the monster, Kappa. He attacks them with a green energy blast knocking them off their feet.

"It's dinner time!"

He begins to approach the people getting ready to kill them all, when the Power Rangers showed up. "Hold it right there."

Kappa begins to laugh when he sees the Rangers. "So, the Power Rangers are here after all. Good, I have been looking forward to meeting you ever since you destroyed my friend Gila."

"Yeah well your friend got what he deserved," said Lux.

Barriss turns towards the people. "Get out of here, go!"

The people take off running, which disappointed Kappa. "You took away my meals."

"Too bad," said Jake as the Rangers get ready. "You're going to have to deal with us."

"Very well, let's do this then." Kappa begins to glow and lets out a loud growl. In an instant four more Kappa monsters appeared. "Now the odd are even."

"That won't stop us," said Jake as the Rangers summon their power weapons. "Let's take them out guys."

Meanwhile

The Chancellor has been brought to his ship where he has been brought by the clones for safety. He orders the clones to wait outside and guard the area. Palpatine walks towards his room and sits down in his seat to think. He knows he didn't order Dooku to attack so whoever is behind this must be involved in what happened on Hoth.

He recalls Tarkin telling him when they found the Clone trooper, Fives they found the area around him to be destroyed. Padawan Tano doesn't remember what happened either, but they did find several large footprints. Nothing that can be confirmed, but Tarkin reassured the Chancellor they will find out.

"Whoever you are, I will find out. Sooner or later I will find out."

"Then let's make it sooner," Palpatine gets up and looks over to see someone standing in the dark corner of the room. "Sorry for the mess I caused. My loyal subjects haven't killed anything in a long time. So, I gave them a chance to kill again."

"Who are you?" Palpatine asked curious on who this man is and how he didn't sense him in the room.

"Of course, sorry how rude of me. I should introduce myself, shouldn't I?" The figure appears out of the darkness and removes his hood. "My name is Damien and it's an honor to meet you, Darth Sidious."

Damien and Darth Sidious, face to face. Things are getting interesting huh? Sorry to end this without a fight scene. I promise you thought next time you'll get the fight scenes and another Zord battle. So I hope you guys can be patient and wait next time. Find out next time to see what happens next.
