Spark of Rebellion

5 BBY

In a ship named the Ghost, it's captain, Hera Syndulla is talking with a hooded and cloaked figure that is displayed on a hologram in the cockpit.

"Are you sure that we should have him as part of our crew?" She asked the figure. Hera is a 19 Twi'lek with jade coloured skin and green eyes. And the figure she's talking to is an informant named Fulcrum.

"Yes. Trust me, you really want him to join your crew. Me and him have had discussions and agreed to let him be a part in the fight." Fulcrum said in a voice that has been altered to hide their real voice for safety and security reasons.

"Understood. Thank you, Fulcrum." Hera said and then the transmission ends. As it did, a member of Hera's crew walked in. It was 28 year old Kanan Jarrus. He has brown hair that he has tied into a ponytail, facial hair, teal blue eyes and tanned skin. He and Hera were in a relationship at some point but it didn't work out and so they decided to stay as friends.

"Well?" He asked as he sat in the co-pilot seat.

"Fulcrum just contacted us to pick up someone on Tatooine as another crew member." Hera informed him as she punched the coordinates in. Kanan raised an eyebrow at this.

"Really? Another crew member? And in the Outer Rim?" He questioned right when they entered Hyperspace.

"Well, Fulcrum knows him personally and he seems to want to join in on the action. We're to pick him up at Mos Eisley." She explained more.

"Anything else we should know of him?" He asked.

"Yes. That his name is Errol and is wearing Mandalorian armour." She said.

"Really? A Mandalorian?" Kanan asked.

"Yes. Go and inform Sabine about it." She ordered him and he nodded before walking out of the cockpit and heading to the crew's quarters. He then knocked on one of the doors and it then opened to reveal a 16 year old girl wearing a colourfully painted Mandalorian armour. She also has orange and purple hair with brown eyes and tanned skin. She is Sabine Wren.

"Yes?" She asked.

"We're going to have another Mandalorian join our crew." He updated her and her eyes widened upon hearing this.

"Yes. Fulcrum just told Hera and we're to pick him up on Tatooine." He then said and walked away. Sabine stood there very curious about meeting this Mandalorian.

After they exited Hyperspace and reached Tatooine, they flew right to Mos Eisley and landed right outside the spaceport.

Hera, Kanan and Sabine decided to enter the spaceport while the rest of the crew stayed aboard the Ghost to keep an eye on the ship. The trio looked around and haven't found their new crew member yet. But then they entered into a cantina where they saw a whole bunch of different beings have their drinks or party. All three looked around until Kanan spotted someone clad in Mandalorian armour.

"There." He pointed him out to Hera and Sabine and they too spotted him. He was wearing an armour that was silver and brown with a helmet that looked like it had small horns on it. He was just sitting there, watching the people in the cantina until he spotted the trio walking up to him.

"Yes?" He asked them after a few seconds of silence. The voice was male, but also sounded like he was in his teens, just like Sabine. He looked at them and when he looked upon Hera, he stayed on her for a while as though he was staring at her.

Kanan sensed something within the Mandalorian. Something very familiar. It was then that he realised that it was the Force.

"Are you Errol?" Hera asked him.

"Did Fulcrum send you?" The Mandalorian asked them.

"Yes." Kanan answered this time. The Mandalorian leaned forward and sat there silent for a few seconds until he nodded.

"Then yes, I'm Errol. Errol Flynn." Errol introduced himself and took his helmet off to reveal a 14 year old male teen that had short black hair and blue eyes. There was also a pure white diamond shape mark on his forehead that a Torguta would have. Hera was a bit surprised at his appearance and could help but blush like a girl when they have a crush on someone. And Errol himself found Hera very attractive.

"Since you're here to hire me, I'll have whatever share you can give me and I'll fulfill my part in the crew." Errol told them all and they looked at each other before nodding at the terms.

"Welcome aboard." Hera held her hand out and her and Errol shook hands.

Months later….

Errol met up with the other crew members of the Ghost, Garazeb 'Zeb' Orrelios, a Lasat and an astromech named C1-10P or Chopper. Errol got along very well with Zeb, but with Chopper, he sometimes got annoyed by his rude and cranky behaviour.

Both Errol and Kanan revealed to each other that they are both Jedi and helped train each other when they had the chance.

Errol and Sabine were friendly with each other, but with Hera, Errol can't help but be attracted to her. She was beautiful to him and found himself hanging out with her the most out of everyone in the crew. Living aboard the Ghost was good and he was well fed and paid. The jobs they did made him thrilled as he got back at the Empire.

But it was with their latest job that things were taking a huge turn.

On a planet known as Lothal, there is a tall structure that was just outside the Capital City. At the highest level of structure, there stood a 14 year old male. He had a black mullet with blue eyes and copper skin. He was leaning on the railing, looking at the city with a reflective and saddened look.

A shadow casted over him and he looked up to see a Star Destroyer flying right to the city. The teen then had his expression change and he got onto his hovercraft to reach the city for something that he is planning to do.

In the city itself, it was controlled by the Empire as Stormtroopers and Imperial Officers were walking through the crowded streets. In fact two Imperial Officers and two Stormtroopers were harassing an alien who was trying to sell some fruit.

"Your identification. Now." One of the officers requested.

"I'm just trying to sell a couple of jogans here." The alien told him.

"All trade must be registered with the Empire." The other officer reminded him.

"I remember what it was like before your ships showed up, before you Imperials ruined Lothal like the rest of the galaxy." The alien bravely spoke out. This caught the attention of everyone there and they were worried that the guy would get into trouble.

"This is LRC-01. I'm bringing in a citizen under a charge of treason." The officer said through a comlink.

"Copy that, LRC-01. Dispatch to Cell Block AA-33." A trooper said over the comlink. The other officer grabbed the basket of the fruit and the troopers restrained the alien.

"Take him away." The officer ordered the troopers as the one carrying the basket took a bite out of a jogan. The troopers dragged the alien.

"You can't do this!" He shouted at them.

"Oh yeah? Well, who's gonna stop us?" The officer eating the jogan asked in a bragging way.

"You? You?" He then asked some citizens that were watching the whole thing. They backed away and he laughed. He and the other officer didn't notice the teen walking up to them.

"Hey, mister, a spare jogan?" He asked, keeping his face hidden and acting like a poor homeless kid.

"Move along, Loth-rat." One of them barked at him.

"Sorry, sorry. Not looking for trouble." The teen said, managing to grab the comlink without the officer noticing.

He then walked away.

"But it sure has a way of finding me." He then said, looking at the comlink.

"All officers to the main square! This is a code red emergency." The teen then said over the comlink, doing his best take as an Imperial Officer. It managed to fool the officers and the troopers.

"It's your lucky day, Lothal-scum. You two, come with us!" The officer said and all of them let the alien go and his basket of jogan as they went to where the square is.

The teen then walked up to the alien.

"Stay on alert! Repeat, this is a code red." He said into the comlink, and the alien saw that it was him that essentially saved him.

"Thank you." The alien said to him, handing him a jogan. The teen took it and put it in his bag.

"No. Thank you." He replied and started to stuff more jogan into his bag, stunning the alien.

"Wait. Wait! What are you doing?" He asked him.

"Hey, a kid's gotta eat." The teen cockily reasoned before bolting off and climbing up onto a roof.

"Who is that kid?" The alien asked.

The teen then silently made his way across the roof and looked down to see the same officers from earlier with another and some troopers on speeder bikes that had some crates attached to them.

"What's the emergency?" One of the officers asked.

"Emergency?" The new officer asked in confusion.

"You called in a code red." The other officer clarified.

"I… I'm not sure what you mean. My orders are to get these crates to the Imperial Portal." The officer stated. The teen smiled at the opportunity to steal the crates to sell for some money.

"Well, get them loaded then!"

"Almost feel bad for them. Almost." The teen chuckled. He then suddenly heard a distant humming and at the same time sensed something. And he has never felt this before.

"That was weird. I…." He trailed off and then the humming got stronger and he looked down the street to see both Kanan and Errol standing there with their backs facing him. Errol was in his full Mandalorian armour, including his helmet.

Errol himself sensed a very strong presence but he knew that he couldn't focus on it since he and the others are on a job. Kanan too felt the presence and he even looked around just as the teen ducked to avoid being seen.

"Did you sense that?" Kanan asked Errol.

"Yes. We need to focus on the job however." Errol reminded him and Kanan nodded.

The two then walked towards the troopers with the crates and speeder bikes. The teen was watching them as they then stopped by a door frame where Zeb is waiting. Kanan tapped his leg twice as a signal. Errol walked up to Sabine, who's also clad in her full Mandalorian armour and he tapped his blaster twice, and she did the same and then all of them got into position.

"Interesting." The teen commented.

Sabine casually walked by a speeder bike and threw an explosive onto it and it started beeping, catching a trooper's attention. He noticed Sabine walking away and was about to speak to her but the beeping intensified and then the speeder bike exploded, taking the trooper with it. The teen was shocked to see this unfold.

"Get those crates out of here! Keep them secure at all costs!" One of the three officers barked at the troopers and they got on the bikes with crates and sped off.

"All costs, huh? I like the sound of that." The teen said.

The troopers were zipping down an alleyway when suddenly a speeder backs up and stops them. In the speeder was both Kanan and Errol.

"How's it going?" Kanan asked before he kicked the closest trooper to him and Errol took his blaster out to shoot the next one. The third one then fired at them and they ended up in a blaster fight, with troopers coming in backing up the remaining trooper.

The teen was watching the whole thing and smiled at the action going on. Zeb then creeped around the corner sneaking up behind the troopers and managed to take them all down with ease.

"Nicely done, big guy." Errol praised Zeb. The teen then suddenly jumped down onto one of the bikes.

"Thanks for doing the heavy lifting!" He thanked them casually.

"You little-!" Errol snarled in annoyance but didn't finish because the teen reversed and dodged a punch from Zeb.

"Now what?" Zeb growled.

"What do you think, after that Loth-rat!" Errol barked back. The teen reversed and made a turn going through the streets. Kanan, Errol and Zeb got on the other bikes, with Zeb and Errol taking up one. They followed the teen.

Sabine was up on a roof and spotted the teen on a speeder bike, slightly confused but amused knowing what would happen if he was caught.

She then jumped down and landed on the crates, shocking the teen.

"Pretty gutsy move, kid!" She told him. She then took a blaster out and pointed it at him and he gasped.

"If the big guy and Tank Boy catch you, they'll end you!" She warned him as she shot a latch and the crate she's on broke off.

"Good luck!" She then parted ways in a singsong manner. When the crate stopped, Sabine got off and Kanan sped past her. Zeb and Errol then did but Errol jumped off.

"I'm gonna kill that kid." He told her and she chuckled as they pushed the crate off to somewhere else.

Some troopers gathered as they were getting ready to fire. The three then came around a corner. The teen gasped and Kanan took his blaster out to shoot all the troopers down.

"Who are these guys?" The teen questioned and dodged some civilians. As did Kanan and Zeb.

"Who is that kid?" Kanan questioned.

They then reached a highway, leading out of the city. They didn't notice two troopers on their own speeder bikes. They chased after them and fired lasers at them. Kanan fired back at them but they swerved out the way. The troopers then fired back, one stray laser blast hit the teen's speeder, causing it to go out of control and black smoke was released.

"That's never good!" He pointed out, worried. The bike then spasmed to the point that it launched him to the other side of the highway and he eventually got it back to normal.

Kanan fired back at the troopers and then Zeb pulled his weapon out and slowed down to reach the troopers and took one of them down.

"Okay, you caught me! I give up!" Kanan pretended to be compliant, confusing the trooper.

"Just kidding." Kanan added before throwing a thermal detonator to the trooper who catched it and it exploded as he caught it, leaving Zeb and Kanan to just chase after the teen.

Kanan told Zeb through hand signals to leave Kanan to chase the kid while he takes the crates to the Ghost. Zeb, while annoyed, complied and stopped with the crates that Kanan disconnected from.

"If Kanan catches that kid, me and Errol will end him." Zeb snarled.

As Kanan was chasing, he managed to get to the other side and be ahead of the teen and swerve to a stop, making the teen stop very quickly.

"Who are you?" He asked Kanan, out of annoyance.

"I'm the guy who was stealing that crate." Kanan answered casually.

"Hey look, I stole this stuff, whatever it is, fair and square." The teen shot back as though it was obvious. But that ain't how it works.

"And you made it pretty far." Kanan snorted.

"But I got plans for that crate, so today is not your day." He then said, not knowing that a TIE Fighter is flying towards them both.

"Mmm, day's not over." The teen said before speeding off. Kanan now hears the TIE and rolls his eyes.

"Oh, wonderful." He it fired at him and he got off the speeder before it exploded.

"Have a good one!" The teen taunted him as he sped off. Kanan smirked at his cleverness and resilience.

"This is Spectre-1. I need a lift." He said into his comlink.

The teen sped out into the grassy plains of Lothal with the TIE on his tail.

"Whatever's in these crates must really be worth it!" He said, fearing for his life and then dodged a laser blast.

"Better be worth it!" He then added.

The TIE then made a lucky shot and destroyed the speeder, throwing the teen onto the ground.

He then looked up at the TIE ready to get shot at when suddenly turret fire was heard and the TIE got destroyed. He turned and saw Kanan on a ramp, on the Ghost.

"You want a ride?" Kanan asked him. The teen noticed there were four TIE Fighters flying towards them and decided to take this chance.

"Kid, you have a better option? Come on!" Kanan told him and the teen for some reason was running to the crate.

"Leave the crate, you'll never make it!" He then shouted at him, though he pressed a button that made the crate float. He then pushed it and ran to the ship as the TIE's started shooting.

He then jumped into the air with the crate and he managed to hook onto the ramp with the crate.

"Whoa." Kanan was impressed at this display.

The teen then got onto the ramp and he and Kanan pushed the crate into the ship and the ramp closed as the ship flew up reaching up to space.

The teen looked up to see Kanan, Zeb, Sabine and Errol staring at him. Zeb opened up the crate and in it were E-11 blasters, which are standard issue for Stormtroopers.

"Oh! Do you have any idea what these are worth on the black market?" The teen asked them, grabbing a hold of one of the blasters. Errol snatched it out of his hand.

"We do." He hissed at him.

"Don't get any ideas." Zeb warned him.

"They're mine." The teen replied.

"If you hadn't gotten in our way-" Zeb was telling him.

"Too bad. I got to them first." The teen shot back.

"It's not who's first. It's who's last." Kanan told him as Errol got up a ladder so that he could get to the cockpit. The teen looked annoyed that he didn't get the goods.

"Keep an eye on our friend here." He told Sabine and Zeb, following Errol.

"Hey, beautiful." Errol playfully flirted to Hera, who blushed and smiled. It's normal for the two to flirt with each other, though not knowing that they each genuinely meant what they told each other.

"Hey, handsome. What happened down there? I thought this was supposed to be a routine op." Hera replied as she flew through the sky avoiding the TIE's laser blasts. Errol sat in the co-pilot seat, taking his helmet off with Kanan sitting behind him. And Chopper started beeping something that made both Errol and Kanan groan.

"Chopper, please. It's been a difficult morning." Kanan sighed.

"He has a point, Kanan. We've got four TIE Fighters closing in." Hera said, agreeing with Chopper. She then flew the Ghost higher up to the clouds and dodged the blaster fire.

"Hera, less attitude and more altitude, please?" Errol kindly asked. She smiled and spun the ship.

"If I didn't know better, I'd think you did that on purpose." Kanan scoffed.

"If you knew better, we wouldn't be in this situation. Seriously, Kanan, what happened?" Hera replied just as fed up as him. Errol sat there silent, learning the hard way to not get involved in their arguments.

"He did." He replied, looking at the camera feed to the cargo bay where Sabine and Zeb were watching the teen.

"Look, I was just doing the same thing you were. Stealing to survive." The teen said, trying to seem like them, but the only issue is that they're not stealing so that they can survive.

"You have no idea what we were doing. You don't know us." Zeb instantly told him, shoving a fist onto his chest.

"And I don't want to. I just want off this burner." He groaned.

"Please. Nothing would thrill me more than tossing you out while in flight." Zeb stated right up to his face.

"A kid tripped you up? Must be some kid. Spill it." Hera told Kanan and Errol.

"Shouldn't you be focusing on flying us out of here?" Errol questioned her.

"Spill." She said.

A random laser blast hit the back of the Ghost and it caused the ship to shake, making the guys in the cargo bay lose balance resulting in Zeb falling on top of the teen.

"Get off. I can't breathe." The teen said, strained.

"I'm not that heavy in this gravity." Zeb stated as he got back up on his feet.

"Not the weight, ugh, the smell." The teen corrected and that made Zeb's eye twitch in anger.

"You don't like the air quality in here, eh? Fine. I'll give you your own room." Zeb grabbed onto the teen's leg to drag him off.

"Hey, stop!" The teen whined as he was dragged to another part of the ship.

Hera flew the Ghost up towards the edge of Lothal's atmosphere.

"Let go!" The teen begged Zeb but he got thrown into a little cupboard in the lounge area of the ship.

"Kid sounds impressive." Hera admitted after Kanan and Errol explained what happened. And the smile on her face made Errol groan.

"Are you thinking of taking in that annoying little street-rat?" Errol questioned her.

"He held onto a crate of blasters with a pack of troopers on his tail." Hera pointed out.

"Because I was there to save him. He's a street-rat. Wild, reckless, dangerous and…." Kanan then listed and looked back at the monitor to see that he wasn't there.

"Gone?" He said.

"Zeb, Sabine. Where is that rat?" Errol asked over the PA.

"Calm down, Tank Boy. He's in…. Uh… here." Zeb replied, opening the cupboard to see that the teen is gone. He and Sabine then noticed the hatch to the ducts was open, meaning he's in the ducts.

"Zeb, where is he?" Kanan then asked through the PA.

"Well, he is still in the ship." Zeb replied as the teen crawled his way through. The two then heard clattering from above them and immediately knew where he was.

"Oh, he's in the ship alright." Sabine said. The ship reached into space.

"Very creative. Sounds like someone I used to know." Hera said as she and Errol were flicking and pressing buttons and switches, referring to Kanan. He then groaned and walked out of the cockpit to try and find the teen.

"That rat is now more of an annoyance than before." Errol told her and she smirked.

"I thought you don't give in to anger." She teased him.

"You're right. But he is pushing particular buttons." Errol replied. Hera then made a turn which caused the teen to fall out of the ducts and into one of the turrets. He sits on the seat and is shocked to see that he's in space with the TIE's still after them.

"I'm… I'm in space! And I'm about to die!" He yelled in fear as two TIE's fired at the ship.

"Shields are holding for now, but you need to buy me time to calculate the jump to lightspeed." Hera told Kanan who decided to go on the top turret.

"Buying time now!" He replied and managed to shoot down one of the TIE's.

"Whoa." The teen said in awe before Sabine grabbed him by the shoulder and shoved him off of the seat. She then took her helmet off to reveal her face and she frowned at him while he stared at her like a boy when he saw his crush.

Sabine then put her helmet on the seat and sat on it to control the turret and started teen decided to act all charming.

"My name's Ezra. What's yours?" He asked her which made her roll her eyes and Zeb creeped up behind him and grabbed him.

"My name's Zeb, you Loth-rat." Zeb snarled up to his face.

"Calculations are complete, guys. We just need an opening." Errol informed them all through the PA.

"Found one." Sabine said She then fired at a TIE, leaving just two that were on their tail.

"Entering Hyperspace!" Hera stated and then they did just that, shocking Ezra.

They eventually exited Hyperspace at some random point in space and then Zeb led Ezra into the cockpit.

"Let go! You can't keep me here! Take me back to Lothal!" Ezra complained and stared down Zeb, making Errol roll his eyes.

"Will you just shut up, please?!" Errol requested from him.

"And calm down. That's exactly what we're doing." Hera added, surprising Ezra.

"Wait, right now? With Imperials chasing us?" He questioned their sanity.

"We lost the TIEs when we jumped, and the Ghost can scramble its signature so they won't recognize us when we return." Hera explained.

"Oh, that's pretty cool!" Ezra excitedly said.

"So just drop me and my blasters outside Capital City and…." Ezra then said but stopped when the door behind him opened revealing Kanan and Sabine frowning at him.

"They're not your blasters." Sabine corrected him.

"And we're not going back to Capital City. The job's not done." Kanan added.

The ship flew back to Lothal. It was at nighttime and they landed somewhere out on the plains outside of a village.

Kanan, Errol and Hera walked off in a different direction with the crate full of blasters, while Sabine and Zeb were pushing crates towards the village.

"Hey, where are they going?" Ezra asked Sabine and Zeb.

"If I told you, I'd have to kill you. Oh, and I might just kill you anyway." Zeb said.

"Grab a crate, pull your weight." Sabine instructed Ezra.

All three of them walked into the village with crates and Ezra looked in confusion.

"Lived on Lothal my whole life. Never been here." Ezra confessed.

"The Imperials don't advertise it." Sabine told him.

"Locals call it Tarkin Town." Zed added.

"Named for Grand Moff Tarkin, Governor of the Outer Rim. He kicked these folks off their farms when the Empire wanted their land." Sabine said as they walked past people who looked dirty, tired and full of despair.

"Anybody tried to fight back got arrested for treason." Zeb added. Hearing all this makes Ezra now question many things.

Surrounded by some rocks, Hera, Errol and Kanan met up with their employer for the job, Vizago.

"Any problems procuring these lovely ladies?" He asked the trio as he examined a blaster.

"Nothing we couldn't handle, Vizago. Your intel was accurate. This time." Kanan replied.

"We got the goods and took a bite out of the Empire. That's all that matters." Hera added with a smirk and raised eyebrow.

"Business is all that matters. But I love that you don't know that." Vizago said as he gathered the payment.

"To you maybe." Errol told him.

Vizago then handed the gold but didn't hand over all of it.

"Keep going." Kanan told him.

"I could. Or I could stop and trade the rest of the bounty for another bit of intel you've been begging after." Vizago said. This made the trio look at each other as this is something they've been hoping to get.

"The Wookies?" Hera and Errol said in unison.

"The Wookies." He repeated.

The sun was rising and in Tarkin Town the residents were walking out of their homes and saw Sabine, Ezra and Zeb stood by the crates which contained food.

"Who wants free grub?" Zeb loudly asked everyone as he opened a crate and revealed its contents, which were fruits.

Everyone took some fruit and thanked them. This makes Ezra see things differently now and his eyes are opened.

"I…. I didn't do anything." He said in shame. Sabine and Zeb had smiles on their faces seeing the good they're bringing to these people.

Ezra felt so guilty that he left and sat on the hill that the Ghost was. As he is watching Tarkin Town, he hears that humming he heard when he first saw Errol and Kanan. And it seems to be coming from the Ghost. It was as though something was calling to him.

With this, he enters the ship and follows to wherever the humming is coming from. He climbs up the ladder in the cargo bay into the cockpit and then enters a hallway and the humming intensifies when he reaches a room to his right. Realising that whatever is humming is in the room, he pulls something out of his bag to unlock the door, not noticing that Chopper saw him and went away to signal Kanan and went away just as Ezra felt as though he was watched.

He unlocks the door and enters into some quarters, belonging to Kanan in particular. There were bunk beds though he had the room to himself. Sabine also had her own room, as well as Zeb but Hera and Errol take up the same room as they're best friends and feel comfortable with each other.

Ezra sits on the bottom bunk and hears the humming intensified.

"Okay." Ezra muttered and then started to try and find a secret compartment.

"Weird."

He then gets off the bunk and searches more until he unknowingly opens a compartment and he pulls out a cube that had these designs on it and looked like it can shift into different shapes.

"Might be worth something." He said to himself, clearly wanting to steal it and sell it for money. He puts it in his pocket and then he realises the compartment can pull out more and he sees that there is something else in it. Ezra pulled it out and it was some kind of hilt. He accidentally pressed a button and it unleashed a blue laser blade. Upon seeing it, Ezra was shocked to see that it is the weapon of a Jedi, a lightsaber.

"Whoa!" He said in awe as he waved it around. But then the door opened to reveal Kanan and he didn't look pleased at all.

"Careful. You'll cut your arm off." He warned the kid as Chopper, Hera and Errol appeared, with Errol glaring at Ezra.

"Yeah, we wouldn't want you to cut yourself, little baby." Errol spat at him, getting more and more annoyed by him. Chopper laughed and that made Ezra glare at the astromech and at Errol for calling him a baby.

"Look, I know you're not gonna believe me, but it's like this thing wanted me to take it." Ezra reasoned with them. This response made Errol laugh so hard that he had to hold onto Hera's shoulder to remain on his feet.

"Really, you expect us to believe that, you little rat?" Errol laughed and started to regain balance. Hera patted him on the back.

"Yeah, we don't believe you. Now hand me the lightsaber." Kanan ordered Ezra. Ezra himself noticed that Errol had a hilt attached to his belt. A hilt for a lightsaber.

"Lightsaber? Isn't that the weapon of the Jedi?" Ezra asked, waving the lightsaber around.

"Give it to me, and get out." Kanan practically growled stepping closer to Ezra.

He complied and turned it off before handing it over to him. He then walked past Errol and Hera who frowned at him as he walked away.

Kanan took the hilt apart and hooked the parts onto his belt.

"Now we'll see." Kanan said.

"I feel like we need to keep an eye on him. I don't trust him by himself." Errol told them both.

"I agree with you." Hera nodded. This made Errol blush. Kanan, over the last several months, watched their interactions and felt a bit jealous seeing that Errol clearly has feelings for Hera and her for Errol.

Zeb and Sabine made it back to the ship as Sabine was in the kitchen drinking from a cup.

Ezra entered the kitchen and saw Sabine there leaning on the cabinets.

"Not good at following directions, are you?" She teased him. Ezra rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Not so much. You?" He asked her, trying to start a conversation.

"Heh, never been my specialty." She admitted.

"Who are you people? I mean, you're not thieves, exactly." Ezra wanted a clear answer.

"We're not exactly anything. We're a crew. A team. A family as Errol would like to say." She answered.

"Errol?" He questioned.

"Yeah. The one in the Mandalorian armour." She explained and Ezra nodded but also had a sad look on his face. Sabine noticed.

"What happened to your real family?" He asked her.

"The Empire. What happened to yours?" Sabine frowned, coldly.

He was about to answer when Zeb entered with Chopper.

"Kanan wants us in the common room. If he tries anything, sound the alarm or shoot him." He said to Sabine and then to Chopper about Ezra. Chopper beeped in some form of annoyance.

"Shush. Just watch him." Zeb snapped at him and left. Sabine grabbed her helmet and was about to walk out but stopped.

"Sabine. My name's Sabine." She told Ezra. He smiled and was about to say something to her as she walked out but Chopper ran into him and beeped disapprovingly.

In the common room, Sabine and Zeb were sitting while Errol, Hera and Kanan were standing.

"We have a new mission. Vizago acquired the flight plan for an Imperial transport ship full of Wookie prisoners." Kanan informed them.

"And most of these Wookies were soldiers from the Old Republic." Errol added.

"I owe those hairy beasts. They saved some of my people." Zeb revealed.

"Mine, too." Hera added.

"And one helped my mom and dad during the Clone Wars at some point." Errol brought up. He didn't tell the crew who his parents were exactly to keep them safe.

"If we're going to save them, we've got a tight window. They've been taken to an unknown slave labour camp. If we don't intercept this ship, we'll never find them." Kanan stated.

"Now, I have a plan, but-" He was saying but stopped when a loud thud was heard in the cupboard. He opened it and there was Ezra with his hand by his ear, meaning he was listening in. He then smiled, trying to act innocent and then fell.

Everyone stood around him in annoyance, amusement or confused.

Ezra then tried to climb through the vent he got through to enter the cupboard but got grabbed by Zeb and was pulled out and threw him to the floor.

"I ordered Chopper to keep watch!" Zeb snapped.

"And why would you ask him to do so? You know he ain't reliable for a task like that." Errol told him, making Chopper storm in beeping angrily at him. Zeb then growled.

"Can we please get rid of him?" Zeb asked everyone.

"I agree. So far, he's been nothing but an annoyance and he'd just steal from us at any chance he has." Errol sided with his second best friend.

"No. We can't. The kid knows too much." Sabine shot that idea down. That made the two groan.

"We don't have time to take him home anyway. We need to move now." Hera stated as she helped Ezra up on his feet and dragged him to the bridge.

"I'll keep an eye on him." She then said, looking at Errol and winked, making him sigh in relief since she can make sure he doesn't do anything.

They entered Hyperspace, heading to where the transport ship is.

"You know, this whole mission thing is nuts. I'm not against sticking it to the Empire, but there's no way I'd stick my neck out this far. Who does that?" Ezra pointed out and confessed as he spun on the co-pilot seat while Hera was piloting the ship.

"We do." She replied a bit cold with her voice cracking slightly. They then exited Hyperspace and they saw the ship they're reaching. It carried four TIE Fighters as well.

"Imperial Transport 651, this is Starbird, coming inbound." Hera said over the comms to the ship.

"State your business." The ship's captain requested.

"Bounty. We captured an additional Wookie prisoner and have transfer orders to place him with you." Hera told him.

"We have no such orders." The captain said in confusion and then two of the TIE Fighters were detached and started flying.

"That's fine. We already got paid by Governor Tarkin. If you don't want the oversized monong, I'll jettison here. Let you explain to your superiors why the Empire has one less slave." Hera said. Ezra looked at her in disbelief.

"Permission to dock. Bay 1." The captain informed her. Hera smirked proudly.

The Ghost attached to the ship with its hatch and a couple of Stormtroopers waits for the 'Wookie' and then the doors open to reveal Zeb standing there with Errol, Kanan and Sabine looking like his captors.

"That thing's not a Wookie." One of the troopers said, clearly smarter than others.

"Never seen a hairless Wookie before?" Errol asked them and Zeb then did his best Wookie impression. The troopers were silent, considering whether or not Zeb is a Wookie until he groans in boredom.

"Oh, forget it." He said before punching them both, knocking them out cold.

"Told you they wouldn't buy it." He said to his fellow crew members.

"You didn't exactly give 'em a chance to buy it." Sabine argued, pulling her dual blasters out, as well as Errol. Kanan pulled his blaster out.

"Ah, there's just something about the feel of their helmets on my fists." He chuckled.

"Okay, you know the plan. Move out." Kanan ordered the three and they entered the ship.

"No troopers. Security's soft." Kanan informed Hera through the comms but it went static.

"Spectre-1, come in. Spectre-4? Spectre-5? Spectre-6? Comm's down. No not down. Jammed." Hera realised. Ezra started to think about what this means.

"Something's coming." He muttered. He then looked out and saw a Star Destroyer coming out of Hyperspace.

"That's an Imperial Star Destroyer!" Hera pointed out.

"This whole thing was a setup!" Ezra said to her.

"It's beginning to look that way." She replied.

The Star Destroyer then headed right to two ships.

"You need to board the transport and warn them." Hera ordered Ezra. She herself wished she could do it because she's concerned for Errol in particular but knew she couldn't leave Ezra here and because she needed to stay since she's the pilot.

"What? Why don't you do it?" He asked her, not wanting to be at risk of getting captured.

"I need to be ready to take off, or none of us stands a chance." She reasoned.

"No, no way. Why would I risk my life for a bunch of strangers?" Ezra questioned, being selfish.

"Because Kanan risked his for you. If all you do is fight for your own life, then your life is worth nothing. They need you, Ezra. They need you right now." Hera reasoned with him as Zeb, Kanan and Errol ran down some corridors while Sabine and Chopper were split up from them down another corridor.

Ezra started to soak in what Hera just told him as the Star Destroyer snagged them.

"Listen, our crew boarded that transport to selflessly rescue Imperial prisoners. They have no idea they walked into a trap. No idea what's coming! You need to go warn them, Ezra." She then said, making him cringe.

"No, it's too late for them, Hera. We should run now, while-" Ezra was acting like some coward, which made Hera a bit angry at him.

"You don't mean that!" She spat at him.

"I do! I swear, I do. Which is why I can't believe I'm doing this!" He then said, surprising himself as he then ran out of the cockpit to help the others.

"I can." Hera said to herself right when they're docked onto the Destroyer.

"No guards on the door." Kanan informed Errol and Zeb as he peeked around the corner.

"That's odd." Errol stated.

They then walked up to the door.

"Just set the detonator so we can get the Wookies out of here." Zeb said and then Kanan did as told. Errol suspected that there's something wrong and so he closed his eyes and honed in on what's on the other side of the door.

"At least things seem to be going smoother than our last op." Zeb commented.

"It's a trap! We gotta get out of here. It's a trap!" They hear Ezra yell, snapping Errol out of him using the Force.

"Karabast! The kid's blowing another op!" Zeb groaned.

"It's not an op. It's a trap! Hera sent me to warn you." Ezra said and then the door opened, revealing a whole bunch of Stormtroopers that were waiting for them.

"Run!" Ezra then shouted and all four ran as fast as they could. Ezra had a slingshot contraption on his wrist and used it on the thermal detonator Kanan put on the lock and it exploded, taking the troopers out.

"We need to warn Sabine and Chopper but they've jammed the comm." Ezra then said as they ran.

"They'll hopefully follow the plan." Errol told him.

"Yeah, 'cause the plan's gone great so far." Ezra snapped.

"Oh, shut up!" Errol snapped back.

Sabine and Chopper were in some other part of the ship and Chopper started beeping as though he realised something's up.

"Chopper, stop grumbling and work that gravity generator." Sabine grumbled and Chopper beeped back.

As the four were running, on the other end of the corridor, Stormtroopers popped up.

"Don't stop!" Kanan shouted at the three. They then noticed that there was some Agent with them, all decked out. He is Agent Kallus, who was tasked to hunt down the crew of the Ghost.

"I've got the backup ready." Sabine informed Kanan through the comms.

"Push off now!" Kanan told her.

"Now!" She repeated and pressed a button which caused the gravity of the ship to be shut off and everyone floated.

Kanan and Errol took their blasters and shot some Stormtroopers.

"Artificial gravity is down for two minutes." Sabine said to them.

Kallus moved a trooper out of the way and fired a blaster at the guys but he missed. Zeb pushed off of Ezra with a smirk. Ezra then grabbed onto Zeb's ankles and then climbed onto him as they floated forward.

Then once they reached the troopers, they beat them up with Errol kicking two in the head.

Sabine attached some thermal detonators to the controls and with the help of Chopper with his rockets jet, they flew through the ship.

As the guys got past, Kallus started to follow them.

"You doing okay, kid?" Kanan asked Ezra as he pushed against the wall to move.

"You kidding? Ah!" He said and got worried because he was separated from Zeb and had to move himself through the ship after the others.

"Keep up!" Errol told him.

Sabine and Chopper floated until they stopped.

"Five, four- Get ready- two, one." Sabine said and pressed a device in her hand and then gravity in the ship reactivated.

"Now!" Kanan said and then Errol, Zeb, Kanan and Ezra landed on the floor.

Zeb helped Ezra back on his feet as they all got back up and caught up with Sabine and Chopper.

"Where are the Wookies?" Sabine asked them.

"There were no Wookies. It was all a trap." Errol explained.

"Sabine, man the nose gun! Chopper, tell Hera to take off!" Kanan then ordered them.

"Uh, right!" Sabine responded and then all of them ran to get back to the Ghost. Zeb though shoved Ezra out of the way, which gave Kallus the chance to snatch the teen.

Zeb realised what's going on and took his bo-rifle out and aimed it at Kallus.

"Let go!" Ezra grunted. Two Stormtroopers showed up and started shooting but missed Zeb.

"Kid, get out of the way!" Zeb told Ezra as he took cover.

"I'm trying!" He replied, struggling against Kallus' grip. Seeing the situation is impossible to him, Zeb had to make a tough choice; to just leave Ezra.

"Sorry, kid! You did good." He apologized to him and then shut the door and ran to the Ghost.

In the cockpit, Hera still sat in the pilot seat with Chopper next to her and Errol sitting on the co-pilot seat.

"There! Airlock shut!" She said as Chopper was beeping. She then detached the ship from the other one.

"We're out of here!" Hera told the whole crew through the PA. Zeb looked so guilty that it ate him up, he even sat against the hatch door.

"Chop, jam their tractor beam, will you?" Errol told the astromech and he did as requested as Hera started to fly the ship away from the Star Destroyer's dock.

"Attention, rebel ship. Surrender or be destroyed. This is your first and last warning." The transport captain warned Hera.

"Blow it out your exhaust vent. Literally." She joked and that made Errol laugh and Chopper chirp. Hera always liked making Errol laugh.

"Sabine! You ready to blow something up?" Errol asked over the PA.

She pressed the primer and it made the detonators she planted explode, destroying the transport ship.

"Ugh, I can't see it from here. How'd it look?" Sabine asked Kanan who was up on the other turret.

"Gorgeous, Sabine. As always." He complimented her work. Hera then entered into Hyperspace.

Hera sighed in relief, deflating onto the seat and Errol patted her shoulder.

"Nicely done, as always." He complimented her flying as he took his helmet off.

"Thanks." She said with a smile. Then Kanan and Sabine entered the cockpit.

"The whole thing was a setup." Kanan stated as he and Sabine sat in the remaining seats and Sabine took her helmet off.

"You think Vizago was in on it?" Sabine questioned.

"This is a guy who'd sell his own mother to Jawas just to get a couple of credits. Of course, be in on it." Errol ranted, never liking that slimeball.

"But we're a source of income for him. Even odds he didn't know." Hera argued as Zeb entered the cockpit and kept to himself.

"The kid did alright." She then pointed out.

"He did okay." Kanan said.

"Speaking of him, where is he?" Errol asked everyone. Zeb reacts the most and this made everyone round on him.

"I, uh, thought he was with you." Zeb said, clearly showing that he knows what happened.

"Zeb, what did you do to him?" Sabine asked, accusingly.

"I didn't do anything to him. But that ISB agent grabbed him." He revealed to them all.

"WHAT?!" They all asked all at once. Errol may not like Ezra that much, but he didn't want him to be captured by the Empire.

"The kid got grabbed, okay?" Zeb tried to reason.

"Garazeb Orrelios!" Hera scolded him by using his full name, like a mother with their child.

"Oh come on!" He complained.

"We were dumping him after the mission anyway! This saves us fuel. They'll go easy on him. He's just a kid." Zeb said to them. Hera, Kanan and Errol looked at each other. They silently conversed whether or not to go back and save Ezra and they nodded. Hera then started flicking some switches.

"What are you doing?" Zeb asked the Twi'lek.

"What do you think?" She questioned and he then knew what she meant.

"No! No, no! No way! You cannot be serious!" Zeb barked at her.

"It's our fault he was there!" Hera shot back at him.

"Come on, Hera! We just met this kid! We're not going back for him!" Zeb snapped at her.

"They'll be waiting for us. We can't save him." Sabine agreed with the Lasat.

"Oh, so that would mean you'd leave one of us if we were captured. My parents told me to always do the right thing. And in this case, it's to save Ezra." Errol said his opinion on the matter. Hera and Kanan admired his belief while Sabine felt more guilty as his logic made sense.

"Well, that's two against two. Kanan?" Hera asked. He was deep in thought and after considering everything, he came to an answer.

"Let's go get him out of there." He told them all and this made Zeb moan while Errol and Hera smiled.

They headed back and landed in the hanger of the Destroyer. The ramp then lowered and the crew, excluding Chopper and Hera ran out into the ship to find Ezra. Hera stayed on the ramp with a blaster.

"Find Ezra. I'll be ready." She told them as they ran.

Sabine started to spray paint a symbol on the floor. Errol noticed and smirked underneath his helmet, knowing what she's planning.

They then reach into a corridor.

"Hold this bay till we get back." Kanan ordered Zeb.

"And don't leave until all of us are back onboard." Errol firmly said to him.

"That was not my fault!" Zeb argued as he stopped while the others kept going.

"Well, that's debatable." They heard Ezra say above them so they stopped and suddenly, Ezra jumped down and he wore a trooper helmet. In confusion, Zeb punched him.

Ezra stood back up and took the helmet off, looking angry.

"First you ditch me, then you hit me?" He glared at Zeb.

"How was I supposed to know it was you? You were wearing a bucket!" He snapped at him.

But before things escalated between the two, Kallus and some Stormtroopers ran around the corner. The crew ran back to the Ghost with Ezra, who threw the helmet at Kallus as he started to run.

"Spectre-1 to Ghost, we're leaving." Kanan informed Hera over the comlink.

He, Errol and Sabine then fired back at the Stormtroopers and Kallus for cover fire as they all ran back to the ship.

They eventually made it and Ezra was about to fire with his slingshot but Zeb grabbed his arm.

"Oh no! This time you board first." Zeb told him and threw him into the ship.

"Ghost, raise the ramp." Kanan told Hera. Errol got into the front turret and fired at the troopers and Kallus as the ship started flying. Kanan and Sabine looked at each other and smiled as Sabine pressed a primer for the explosive spray paint she used and it made an explosion that a hull breach was made and Hera flew them out of there and entered Hyperspace.

Errol got out of the turret and entered the cockpit to see Hera sighing in relief. He took his helmet off and sat behind her.

"That went better than expected." He said to her as Ezra entered.

"Welcome aboard. Again." She smirked to him. Errol just sat there taking this moment to relax.

"Thanks. Thank you. I really didn't think you'd come back for me." Ezra said, grateful to her and the crew.

"I'll get you home now. I'm sure your parents must be worried sick." Hera said.

"I don't have parents." He confessed sadly. This made both Hera and Errol look at him rather saddened hearing this, especially Errol. He couldn't imagine what it would be like if he lost both his parents.

"And you got somewhere else to be." Ezra then said as Kanan, Chopper and Sabine entered and sat in the free seats.

"I know where they're really taking the Wookies. Have you heard of the Spice Mines of Kessel?" Ezra brought up. The moment he brought up Kessel, everyone in the room had their eyes widened in worry.

"Slaves sent there last a few months, maybe a year." Sabine gravely told him.

"And for Wookies born in the forest, it's a death sentence." Hera added.

"Then I guess we'd better go save 'em." Ezra told everyone, shocking them.

"'We'?" Errol questioned.

"I've come this far. Might as well finish the job." He stated.

"Setting course for Kessel." Hera said, getting into pilot mode. And then they start heading for the planet and once they reach there, which is rather difficult, they come across a whole bunch of Wookies being escorted in chains by Stormtroopers. Hera spotted them and fired at the troopers, shocking the Wookies.

Everyone else, excluding Chopper, were in the cargo bay, ready to go out there and free them.

"Try not to get dead. Don't want to carry your body out." Zeb cautioned Ezra while Errol, Sabine and Kanan checked their blasters to make sure they function well. They all then got ready with Ezra cringing at the idea of being dead.

The ramp then opened and immediately Stormtroopers started firing at them and they all jumped out and got into cover behind some crates and fired back. Kanan and Ezra looked at each other and nodded as they had a plan in place.

While the troopers were shooting, Ezra snuck around them to get to the Wookies. Sabine and Errol fired back and took down some of the Stormtroopers. Kanan and Zeb ran to some other crates and fired back as they ran to cover.

The Wookies were whimpering seeing the firefight going on not realising that Ezra was making his way to them until one of them spotted him among them and growled, ready to fight him, thinking he's with the Imperials.

"Hey, hey, I'm here to help!" He told them to calm them, showing his lock pick. They were confused but then he unlocked their cuffs, making them all have a spark of hope burn brightly within them.

Everyone saw this and the Wookies snuck up behind the troopers and took them all down.

The Ghost crew got out of cover and walked up to the Wookies. They parted, letting Ezra get up front and smirk proudly at his accomplishment.

But before anyone can say anything, they all hear the sound of TIE Fighters and they appear out of nowhere, firing at the Ghost.

"We're hit! Chopper! Aft gun!" Hera shouted and Chopper went to said gun and fired back, taking down one of the TIEs but then an Imperial transport ship rose from the chasm below.

It then opened fire and it caused everyone, including the Wookies, to jump out of the way. Hera took the ship and flew away with the remaining TIEs chasing after her. Then the transport ship lands and Kallus with a bunch of Stormtroopers by his side.

"Take them down!" He barked at his troopers and they all charged forward and fired their blasters. Everyone goes to cover except for a young Wookie who runs away from their parent, who was calling out to him. The parent sees their child going into cover and runs toward them but two troopers stood in their way and shot at them. The child sees this and is spotted by one of the troopers. The Wookie runs for his life and the trooper decides to chase after him.

"He'll be okay. I've got him." Zeb told Ezra and carried the Wookie into cover. Ezra then notices the child being chased by the Stormtrooper. He decides to do something about it but will have to deal with it later as he now needs to get into cover.

Up in the air, Chopper fired at the TIEs that were still chasing him and Hera and managed to destroy one of them.

"I can't maintain position!" Hera said over the comms.

Everyone back on the ground was all in cover.

"Go! Lead the TIEs away and give yourself maneuvering room!" Kanan ordered her.

"I am not leaving you behind!" She snapped at him. Kanan then saw a cargo container. He then looked to Errol and they both knew what they had to do.

"No, you're not. We're running a 22 pickup." He told the Twi'lek.

"Seriously?" Sabine asked.

"There's no better option, Sabine." Errol argued.

"What about jumping into the pit and getting it over with?" Zeb asked sarcastically.

"Alright, I'll be back. Make sure you're ready." Hera said over the comlink.

"22 pickup? Care to let me in on the secret?" Ezra asked in confusion as Kanan and Errol were getting ready.

"Kid, me and Errol are about to let everyone in on the secret." Kanan replied.

The two then got out of cover and holstered their blasters. They then started walking. Kanan dodged some laser blasts while Errol because of his armour being made of Beskar steel, he doesn't dodge as the laser blasts don't even phase him. This is why he's nicknamed Tank Boy.

Kallus signalled his troops to stop firing. Kanan then grabbed the parts from his lightsaber hilt and combined them together. Errol grabbed his hilt and they ignited their lightsabers. Kanan's was of course blue but Errol's was a gold lightsaber. Ezra was stunned, as were the Wookies, Kallus and the Stormtroopers.

"Come on." Errol challenged them.

"All troopers, focus your fire on… on the Jedi." Kallus ordered and they fired at the two and they deflected their blasts with ease. The Wookies helped by firing at the troopers and there were casualties on both sides.

"Time to go!" Kanan yelled at the others.

"Right. Everyone, into the container!" Zeb agreed. All the Wookies then ran to the container. The Wookie he has on his shoulder rumbles in protest, worried for his child as Zeb dragged him.

Ezra didn't want a parent to be robbed of their child and considering Errol and Kanan were busy defending them with their lightsabers, he felt he needed to help the young Wookie so he ran after him, not knowing that Kallus noticed him.

"Kid, stop! Karabast! I swear, if he's left behind again, it's not my fault!" Zeb ranted as he too noticed what Ezra's doing.

Hera and Chopper were still chased by the TIEs and Chopper managed to take down another one as Hera flew back to the others.

Speaking of them, Sabine, Errol and Kanan covered for the Wookies as they got into the container.

"Hey, Zeb! Hera's incoming!" Errol warned the Lasat ahead of time.

"Get in, you furballs! Now!" Zeb roared at the Wookies and then fired his bo-rifle at the Stormtroopers.

"Kanan, Tank Boy, I think you inspired that kid into, well, doing something like you would do!" Zeb then said to the Jedi and they realised what he meant. Everyone then got into the container as the Ghost arrived and Zeb closed the container. The ship then hovered over the container.

"Magnetic seal locked." Hera informed them as the lock connected with them.

"I hate this part." Zeb whined.

The ship then flew off. Everyone entered the cargo bay and Kanan ran up to the cockpit and informed Hera of Ezra and they reached to where he was and picked Ezra and the young Wookie up.

Once they reached far away from Kessel, everyone gathered in the cargo bay and conversed with the Wookies. They then saw Ezra, Kanan and the young Wookie up by the railing. The parent and child saw each other and were happy. The young one slid down the ladder and they embraced each other. Everyone smiled seeing the little reunion. Kanan even placed a hand on Ezra's shoulder as a sign that he did a good job.

They came across a ship that the Wookies can use to find their way home and they gathered up at the docking port.

The parent Wookie rumbled and Errol, who understood Wookies flawlessly, would translate.

"He said that if we ever need help, the Wookies will be there." He translated. The Wookie then stroked Ezra by his head.

"Good luck, Kitwarr. Try to stay out of trouble." Ezra said to the young Wookie, who rumbled and waved goodbye as he and his father left to their ship.

"Ha. Look who's talking." Zeb remarked as he walked away.

"So, I guess you drop me off next?" Ezra said before Zeb shut the door.

"Uh, yeah. *clears throat* Finally, right?" Zeb chuckled awkwardly. Errol himself didn't know what to think as he felt that Ezra matured and grew a bit. He even didn't mind having him join them.

Ezra just walked away looking depressed.

"Right." He repeated, bitter. They all followed him with Kanan hanging back and sighing, deciding that he can stay, if he wanted.

He was next to Ezra as the Wookies' ship detached, causing them to lose balance as the ship shook.

"Oh, uh, sorry." Ezra apologized, snatching his lightsaber.

They headed back to Lothal and landed near the tall structure that Ezra said is his home. Sabine and Zeb were in the cargo bay. Sabine was working on Chopper and Zeb was finishing on a crate. Ezra climbed down the ladder and saw Chopper who waved at him and he chirped sadly. Sabine looked a bit saddened.

"So, uh, see you around?" He said to Zeb.

"Not if we see you first." he replied, laughing and playfully punched him.

"Don't worry, you won't." Ezra told him, rubbing his arm, walking down the ramp, confusing Zeb as he was in a mood. He walked down the ramp where Errol, Hera and Kanan were.

"I think you have something that belongs to me." Kanan said, as he noticed his lightsaber was gone.

Ezra however, decided to only give him what happened to be a Holocron. Errol raised his eyebrow.

"Good luck saving the galaxy." Ezra parted ways with them and walked to the tall structure.

The three looked at the Holocron and were shocked as it was opened.

"He's passed the test." Errol pointed out, as he himself went through the same test.

Kanan looked back at Ezra and he knew that he can possibly train him and have him be a part of the crew.

Kanan went after the kid while Hera and Errol stayed on the ship. They both entered the cockpit.

"Do you think Kanan will convince him to join us?" Hera asked him.

"More than likely. He'd be interested in the Force. And he's strong in it." Errol stated.

"What do you think?" She asked.

"He's gonna join us for sure. I know I would, not just because of the Force, but because of us." He stated, looking into her eyes, finding himself lost in them for a second but snapped out of it when he heard footsteps. He turned to see Ezra going to Kanan's room. He's going to join them.

This one action is the first spark of hope for the galaxy.

Now this saga spans from the Clone Wars into the Sequel Trilogy but I decided to do the Clone Wars story last as a prequel because that will be the longest one and I wanted to dive right into the meat of the saga. I tweaked when Hera was born to make her a bit younger since I didn't want a huge age gap between her and Errol for their romance.

Of course, Errol Flynn is an homage to the classic movie star from long ago who starred in the kinds of films that inspired Star Wars.
