Chapter 17 and we are getting closer to getting 100 reviews. If that happens it will be legen-wait for it-dary. I'm also almost done with my classes. Just two more weeks to go and I'll be out of classes for the summer.
When summer does arrive I hope everyone will have fun and stay safe. Seriously you don't want to fuck up your summer doing something stupid or worst. I also want to thank my friend for his help and for those who left their reviews for the story. Thanks guys for all the support and now we go on to the next chapter.

Vampira strikes
Outer Rim
Five Republic ships patrol the planet of Geonosis after for the second time taking back the planet from the Separatist. The first time where it was marked the first battle of the Clone Wars and the second a year later. The Republic couldn't risk losing the planet back to the Separatist. If they do it will be even harder to get the planet back than the last two times.
A small ship suddenly appears out of hyperspace and heads towards the planet. The ship flies past several Republic ships patrolling the area without being detected. The ship is using a cloaking device that keeps it from being detected and seen. The ship begins landing near a large canyon where several Geonosians appeared, armed.
The ship's landing platform begins coming down and comes Count Dooku. One of the Geonosians approaches the Sith Lord and speaks in its native language, which the Sith Lord understood.
"Thank you for your welcome and I take it everything is going according to plan?" asked Dooku who gets his answer when the Geonosian responds. "Good, as promised our new ally will return Poggle to you and they will help you reclaim the planet."
One of the Geonosians approaches Dooku and speaks about his doubts of them taking back the planet after what happened last time.
"Ah, but this time we have some backup," the Geonosians look over and see a cloaked figure walking down the ramp of the ship. "He has been sent to assist you and will make sure the planet becomes ours again. Isn't that right?"
The figure nods his head and speaks in a deep tone. "Not only will we make sure the planet is theirs again, but it will be covered in the blood of our enemies."
Coruscant
A week has passed since the attack on Naboo and so far things have been quiet in the galaxy. The war still goes on, but the Jedi have not encountered Vampira or her accomplice since the attack on Naboo.
The Jedi have searched for the woman, but couldn't find any trace of her. Without any more leads to go on they had no choice, but to put their investigation on hold and refocus on the war.
At the Republic prison the Clones are patrolling the area to make sure no one would try breaking in. A few days ago a droid tried to break in, but it self-destructed before it could be captured. The Jedi believe the droid was trying to free the Separatist leaders, so they were moved to another part of the building. Security was increased and the facility is more secured than before.
Inside the facility two Clones are in the security room watching the surveillance monitors. They have been watching for hours with no signs of any trouble.
"This assignment is boring," said one of the Clones letting out a loud yawn. "Why did we get stuck doing this?"
The Clone next to him lets out an annoyed sigh at his partner's contest complaining. "Will you stop it? Be thankful we've got something to do after what happened last time."
"Hey, it wasn't my fault that happened Swift," said the first Clone as he gets up to get something to drink. "If you knew something bad was going to happen, then why didn't you try stopping me?"
"I did," replied Swift. "You just kept ignoring me like you always do Tech."
"If you have a problem with what I do, why don't you do something about it?" As Tech begins pouring himself a drink he hears something. Looking up something grabs him and pulls him up into the ceiling.
"You know what? I just might do something about this you…" Swift turns around and sees his friend is missing. "Tech? Hey Tech, where did you go?"
Swift looks around and can't find his friend. He hears something crash behind him. He turns around and sees it's his friend's cup. Picking it up he sees there's blood on it.
Grabbing his blaster he looks up at the ceiling confused by what is going on. He slowly makes his way towards the door to leave. As he opens the door and turns around something appears, then slashed his throat. Swift begins gasping and tries to stop the bleeding.
It doesn't work and he falls to the floor gasping for air. A cloaked figure enters the room and walks towards the monitor, while the Clone looks on before finally dying. The figure ignores the Clone and places a small device on the monitors. They soon begin overloading before they blow up.
Several Clones hear the explosion and run towards the area. When they got there they see their fallen brother, but see no one else around. The Clones go inside to find any clues on what happened. As the door begins to close a grenade is thrown into the room and before the Clones could escape, it blows up.
The sound of the explosion causes the rest of the Clones to be alerted that something is going on. As they run towards the source of the explosion they see the cloaked figure standing in the middle of the hallway.
"Hands in the air, now!" ordered one of the Clones as they take aim at the figure.
"Sure," said the figure now identified as a woman. She lifts her head the clones see a sadistic smile under her hood. "Let's play."
Meanwhile
In the holding cells, where the two Separatist leaders Poggle the Lesser and Wat Tambor are being held at overhear the explosion coming nearby.
"What's going on?" asked the Separatist General, Whorm Loathsom.
"I'm not sure," replied Tambor who can hear some commotion going on outside their cell doors.
They then hear shots fired and what sounds like men screaming. Whatever is going on out there, the three criminals are glad that they aren't out there.
A body is thrown into the hallway followed by the cloaked female figure. A long sharp nail is pressed against the wall causing a loud screeching sound to echo all over the hallway. The noise began hurting the three criminals, who try to cover their ears to block out the noise. The woman makes it down the end of the hallway and turns around.
She turns around and presses a button causing the doors to open. The three prisoners step out and see the woman.
"Greetings gentlemen, I have been sent here by Count Dooku to free you and take you back home," Poggle speaks to the woman in his native language and she understood what he said. "Who am I is not important. What is important is we get out of here."
"It's about time," said Loathsom. "I have been wondering when we would get getting out of here."
"Oh yes, that reminds me," said the woman as she turns towards the Separatist general. "Count Dooku asked me to give you a message."
"Oh?" asked Loathsom. "And that's that?"
The woman grabs Loathsom and slams him against the wall. Before he could say a word she bites him right on the neck. He struggled to break free, but the woman kept her grip on him. The two Separatist leaders backed away out of fear as the woman continues her attack.
Once she finished she pulls away and licks the blood off her lips. She drops the body and turns towards the two scared Separatist leaders.
"Let's go, unless you want to join him.
Jedi Temple
Meanwhile, Master Luminara and her former apprentice Barriss Offee walked down the halls of the Jedi temple to discuss about their latest mission. After being out of action for a month, Barriss was put on a mission with her old master towards the planet of Ryloth. It has been a while since the two have worked together.
It felt good for Barriss to team up with her old master again. Luminara has been surprised by how much her old apprentice has changed. Before, she was quiet and kept to herself. Now, a month later she has changed. It's not a bad thing, but she is curious to know what changed her former apprentice.
"Is everything all right Barriss?" asked Luminara.
Barriss turns towards her former master confused. "What do you mean?"
Luminara explains her question better. "I've sense a change in you. I'm not sure if this change is good or not, but I can tell you are not the same as when we last met."
"I guess being away from the war has been good for me," replied Barriss.
Anyone would act nervously and act suspicious if they are confronted about this by a Jedi. Thankfully for Barriss, she has trained for years by Luminara and is able to keep herself calm so her former master wouldn't suspect anything. That's good for her since she didn't want Luminara to find out she is a Power Ranger. She trusts her, but she knows she would tell the council the truth if she ever knew.
"I see," said Luminara who believes her former student. "I take it the war has affected you a lot. I know it has with me."
Barriss stares at her master with a small surprise look. "It has?"
"Yes," replied Luminara. "This war has pushed many of us within the Jedi Order. It has changed many of us and for many it pushed us to our breaking point."
"Like with Krell?" asked Barriss who recalls what former one of their own did on Umbara.
Luminara nods her head. She recalls how everyone was shocked with what Krell did. Turning to the Dark side, killing off his Clones, and how he intentionally sabotaged the fights so the Separatist could win. All so he could join Dooku as his apprentice. She knew there was something dark about him, but she didn't think it would be something like this.
"The council is concern about how this war is changing them and what will happen if one of our own turns to the Dark side," said Luminara who lets out a small concerned sigh. "That is why I want you to be careful Barriss. You need to keep an eye out and let us know if you see anything wrong."
Barriss nods her head and agrees to do this. "I will."
Just them Luminara receives word from her com-link. "General Luminara, we have a situation."
Republic Prison
Backup arrived to the prison as a battalion of Clones approached the entrance to the prison. They closed off any other exits so that whoever is breaking out the Separatist leaders would have only one place to escape from. That is where the Clones plan to capture them and make sure they do not escape. They weren't taking any chances, especially after losing contact with everyone inside the prison.
They see a cloaked figure coming out of the prison along with Poggle and Wat Tambor coming from behind.
"Lay down your weapons and surrender," ordered one of the Clones as they aim their weapons as the figure. "You have ten seconds to comply."
The two Separatist leaders look on concern, until the woman turns towards them. "Relax, they'll all be dead soon."
"Ten…" began the Clone with the countdown. "Nine…eight…seven…six…five…four…"
Before he got the three the woman appeared behind all the Clones. Much to the surprise of the Separatist leaders, who couldn't believe how fast this woman is. In the blink of an eye she appeared on the other side of the prison and she didn't look exhausted. They then turn towards the Clones, all of which have stopped moving.
The woman turns around and raises her hand. Both her hands had their nails extended and they are covered in blood.
The woman licks the blood off her fingers and spoke. "Three…two…one…your dead."
The Clones fall over and are dead. The woman walks back towards the Separatist leader finishing licking the blood off her nails.
"I see why Dooku hired you," said Tambor impressed by what this woman has done. "You took down all these Clones out here like you did inside the facility."
"And I didn't have to break a sweat," said the woman as she sees a gunship heading their way. "Stay out of the way until our ride gets here."
The two Separatist leaders take off as the woman grabs a nearby gunship. She picks it up with both hands and tosses it at the gunship. Two people jump out of the gunship as it gets destroyed. The two people land nearby and appear before the woman.
"And who are you two?"
"My name is Luminara Unduli," said Luminara who ignites her lightsaber.
"And my name is Barriss Offee," said Barriss as she ignites her lightsabers.
The woman removes her hood and extends her nails. "Greetings, I'm Vampira. Prepare to die."
Meanwhile
At the senate building, Lux is going over some of his work. He forgot to finish after spending most of the day training with the others. It's a lot of fun hanging out with his friends and just working alongside them. He didn't have much friends growing up, especially since the war began.
Lux knows he should be focused on his work, but it's still nice to have his friends around to help him. Rachel has been a lot of help. She volunteered to help him with his paperwork and help him when he gets stuck on something. Even help him go over some of his speeches to see which sounds good.
"Hey Lux, how's it going?" Lux looks over and sees Rachel coming into the room with some food.
"I'm almost done," replied Lux who puts his work away in file. "I just need to send it and then I'll be done."
"Good," she sets down the food on her friend's table. "After you're done we should eat. You're going to need it."
"Thanks," he looks over his work and once he sees its good he sends it. "By the way, where are Jake and Rick?"
"They went to that diner that Ahsoka told them about," she replied as she sits down on one of the seats. "Ahsoka is still out on a mission and won't be back for a while."
"Oh," he said who didn't seem surprise.
"You okay?" she asked who notices something from friend.
He nods his head. "Yeah, I'm fine."
She knew he is hiding something. She gets up from the chair and walks around the table. "You can't lie to me. I can tell something is bothering you."
She shook his head. "It's nothing, really."
She sits on the table and stares at him. "Is it Ahsoka? I know you have a crush on her."
He lets out an annoyed sigh and turns towards her knowing there is no point. She wasn't going to stop until she got her answer.
"I used to," he replied. "When we first met I had feelings for her and I thought there was something there when we saw each other again."
"So what happened?" she asked curiously.
He sighed again. "Things got complicated during the Onderon rebellion. After that I thought I would try asking Ahsoka out for dinner, but then I saw her spending time with Jake. The two got along so well and I saw he made her happy."
"Sooooo, because of Jake you never made a move?" she asked feeling bad for her friend.
He shook his head. "In a way I'm glad. He makes her happy and that's what I wanted."
"Awwww, you're so sweet," she said as she kisses Lux on the cheek causing him to blush. "I hope you find a girl to be with one day."
He nods nervously. "Y-yeah."
Just then their communicator began beeping. "What's up Alpha?"
Republic Prison
Vampira tackles Barriss, who manages to kick the woman off her. Luminara swings her lightsaber at the woman who dodges the attack. She tries slashing the Jedi Master, but is cut off by Barriss who uses the Force to push the woman away. The two Jedi charge in and attack with their lightsabers.
Vampira flies away from the women and lands on one of the destroyed gunships. The two Jedi use the Force and toss some of the destroyed vehicles nearby at the woman. Vampira uses her nails to slash the vehicles away like they were nothing. She then lets out a mocked laughter at how easily she has been dominating.
"You'll have to do better than that."
Luminara is surprised at how good this woman is. She heard how she held her own against Obi Wan and Skywalker, but she didn't think she was this good.
"Barriss don't lower your guard," said Luminara towards her former Padawan. "We'll need to work together in order to stop her."
"Right," said Barriss half agreeing with her former master.
She knew despite the two working together they would be no match for this woman. Zane told her about Vampira and Torus after finding out they are the ones leading the attack on Naboo. Torus is a giant bull monster who is strong, invulnerable to any blasters, and is resilient. Vampira is fast, strong, and can slice through anything. She knew their only hope of survival is for her to transform into the Yellow Ranger.
However, there is a problem. She can't transform while her master is around and if Vampira knows she's the Yellow Ranger, she'll figure out the identities of the others. She has to transform somewhere safe and hope her powers will be enough to stop Vampira.
"Here I come," Vampira uses her speed to appear behind the two Jedi.
Barriss saw this, but her master didn't. She pushes her out of the way and gets kicked towards some of the wreckage nearby. Vampira throw a gunship near the wreckages crushing the Jedi Knight. Luminara saw this and couldn't believe Barriss sacrificed herself to save her.
"Poor little girl, she's dead," mocked Vampira as she turns towards Luminara. "Don't worry you'll be joining her soon."
She charges at Luminara and tries killing her. The Jedi Master dodges the attacks and tries putting some distance between her and this woman. She knew backup would arrive to help her put down this woman. Of course she needs to survive for that to happen.
"Are you expecting the cavalry to arrive?" asked Vampira while laughing. "I took them out and made sure no other Clones around would hear what is going on at the prison. I also know most of your Jedi friends are off in the war or don't know what's going on."
Luminara couldn't believe that. If what this woman is true, then she's on her own. Vampira uses her speed to appear behind the Jedi. Luminara swings her lightsaber, but sees the woman isn't there. Vampira from behind her and slashes her across the back.
She lets out a loud scream and begins staggering. Vampira punches her in the gut knocking the air out of her. She then punches Luminara in the face almost cracking her jaw. Then she punches her in the face again sending her towards the memorial wall nearby.
Luminara falls to the ground and passes out. Vampira approaches her and prepares to finish her off.
"What a shame," said a disappointed Vampira. "I thought a Jedi Master were supposed to be strong. Oh well, time to die."
As Vampira prepares to finish her off she feels something slashing her across the back. She lets out a loud shriek before facing her attacker.
Vampira's attacker is revealed to be the Yellow Ranger. "Get away from her."
Barriss has arrived to save her master and wow. Her time with her friends has gotten her to cuss now huh? Still, will she be able to take down Vampira alone until her friends arrive? And will she make sure Vampira doesn't find out about her secret identity?
