Chapter 18 is here and we get to another Ranger battle. In case you weren't here last time we saw Vampira break into the Republic prison to get the Separatist leaders out. She encountered Luminara and Barriss then fights them. She was close to killing Luminara until the Yellow Ranger aka Barriss arrived to save her master.

Will she be able to stop her alone? Or will she need some help to take down Vampira? Will the others arrive to help her? Or will they be too late? Read on to find out.

I want to thank my friend for again his help on the story and to all you guys for the support you have given for the story. I appreciate it guys and hope you like this chapter. I don't own anything of Power Rangers or Star Wars just my OC and thanks to my friend for his help on coming up with some OCs for the story too, thanks. Vampira vs. Yellow Ranger

Coruscant

Vampira stares at her attacker with a look of hatred in her eyes. She couldn't believe she let her guard down. She was focused on the Jedi that she didn't see someone sneaking up on. Not just anybody, but a Power Ranger.

"Damn you Ranger," scowled Vampira. "How dare you attack me from behind?"

"You should have thought about that when you attacked these soldiers and the Jedi," said Barriss holding her Power Daggers and not wanting to let Vampira know who she is. "So I suggest you surrender or my next attack will take your head."

Vampira calms down and glares at the Yellow Ranger. "Be careful little Ranger. You may have gotten lucky against our monsters, but that doesn't mean you are ready to fight me."

Barriss tightens her grip on her weapons. "Don't underestimate me Vampira. I know how strong you are and that you work for Damien."

Vampira didn't seem surprise by this. "Zane then should have told you about what would happen if you faced us alone."

Barriss nods her head. "Yes, but I'm not going to stand by while I let you get away with all you have done."

"I see," Vampira extends her nails. "Then, I will kill you and the Jedi."

Vampira appears behind Barriss and swings her hand at her. Barriss blocks the attack with her daggers and kicks the woman on the chest. Vampira slides across the ground as Barriss charges at her. She blocks the Yellow Ranger's attack and tries slashing her.

Barriss ducks and tries jabbing Vampira in the chest. The attack is blocked and she is kicked in the face. Barriss recovers just as Vampira charges at her. Falling backwards she uses both feet to kick the woman in the gut and sent her flying.

Vampira recovers and extends her wings. She lets out a small snarl at the Yellow Ranger. "Damn, you're a tough little bitch aren't you?"

You don't know the half of it. Barriss thought glad that her skills as a Jedi have helped her.

So far she is holding her own, but she knew it wouldn't be long before Vampira gets the better of her. She'll need to find a way to defeat her before anything happens.

"Now, prepare to see just what I am capable of," Vampira inhales some air and then lets out a loud ear piercing shriek.

The shriek echoed all around Barriss causing her pain. She falls on her knees, drops her weapons, and tries covering her ears. Kind of hard to do when her helmet is blocking her hands. She could try removing her helmet, but it would only help Vampira see who she really is.

Vampira continues with her attacking knowing it wouldn't be long before the Ranger is dead. Suddenly she is shot from behind causing her to stop her attack. Looking down she sees the Black and Pink Ranger. They have their blasters in hand and continued opening fire on Vampira.

She dodges their attacks and flies away from them. The Pink Rangers puts her blaster away and summons her Power Bow.

"Do you have a shot?" Lux asked towards Rachel without saying her name.

"Yes," Rachel takes aim and fires.

The arrow hits Vampira's back causing her to let out a loud yell before falling to the ground. The two Rangers run towards their friend and check on her.

"Are you okay?" Rachel asked.

Barriss recovers from the shriek attack and nods her head. "T-thanks guys, another minute and my head would have blown up."

"We wouldn't want that," said Lux who sees a ship landing by the prison. "We have to stop them!"

The three Rangers charge towards the ship, but are stopped when Vampira appeared and blast them with a green energy blast. The Rangers recover, but see the Separatist leaders have already board the ship.

"Next time we meet Rangers, you will pay for injuring me," Vampira vanishes just as the ship took off.

Lux lets out a disappointed sigh. "I can't believe we just let the Separatist leaders escape. This is not good at all."

Rachel nods in agreement. "I guess this means Damien is working with the Separatist. This might be a problem."

"We should tell Zane soon," Lux then noticed Barriss is not with them. "Barriss?"

They see Barriss nearby checking on her wounded master. She begins healing her master's back and stop the bleeding.

"It's my fault she got hurt," said Barriss as she powers down. "I could have morphed earlier and kept her from getting hurt."

"Don't blame yourself," said Rachel as she kneels down next to her friend. "She's still alive and that's because you saved her. That should count for something."

Barriss turns towards her friend and knew she was right. "Thank you."

Lux looks around at the dead Clones lying around. "Just one of Damien's followers did all of this. If she wanted she could have destroyed our entire forces here."

Barriss nods in agreement. "I guess Damien is not ready for that. Not until he regains his full powers."

"We'll need to go," said Rachel knowing they couldn't stay. "Barriss, do you want to come with us?"

Barriss shook her head. "I need to stay here and get my story straight, which reminds me. Rachel I need you to hurt me a little. Vampira tossed me into some wreckage and I need to look hurt. "

"Oh, okay I guess I can give it a try," said Rachel as she balls up her fists. "Are you sure about this?"

Barriss closed her eyes. "Do it."

Meanwhile

The ship made it passed the blockade and jumped into hyperspace. In the ship's cockpit, Count Dooku is speaking with the Separatist leaders and informing them of the changes that have been made within their organization.

"Thanks to our new allies we are now even more dangerous and powerful than ever before. Of course, because of past mistakes our new allies have asked us to make a change. I think the one who freed you made that clear?"

Wat Tambor recalls what the woman said and how it frightens him. "What is she? I know she's not human."

"Not important," Vampira surprises the two Separatist leaders as she walks into the cockpit. "What is important is if you fail us or get captured again. Well, what I did to your friend back at the prison will be worst for you two."

"Calm down Vampira," said Dooku not wanting the woman to harm the Separatist leaders. "We have more important matters to attend to."

Vampira approaches the hologram of Dooku. "Careful, we may be your ally, but that doesn't mean I will take orders from you."

Dooku nods his head softly knowing the last thing he wanted was to piss her off. If he did she would most likely try to kill him.

"I understand," Dooku then turns towards Poggle. "I have a new assignment for you. Are you ready?"

Next Day

Anakin and Ahsoka return from their mission after finding out what happened the night before. They were shocked that Vampira attacked the prison and killed off all the Clones in the facility. She even killed the ones outside who tried to stop her. She escaped with Wat Tambor and Poggle, who by now are back with the Separatist.

Master Luminara and Barriss tried to stop them, but they were no match for the woman. Thankfully Barriss survived her encounter with Vampira and saved her master from bleeding to death.

Still, this attacked has rocked the Republic. If one woman was able to wipe out an army of Clones and defeat two Jedi, then the tide of the war has changed.

Anakin and Ahsoka ran into Master Luminara who has recovered from her injuries. "I'm sorry for doubting your story Skywalker. I didn't think Vampira would be dangerous, I was wrong."

"It's all right," said Anakin who made the same mistake himself when he first fought Vampira. "We're just glad you're okay."

"I heard Barriss saved you," said Ahsoka.

Luminara nods her head. "I thought she was killed when Vampira attacked her. If she hadn't saved me I would have died."

"Good thing you taught her well," said Ahsoka glad her friend saved her former master.

"I suppose so," said Luminara as she turns towards Skywalker. "What has the chancellor decided to do about these attacks?"

Anakin's expression changed when he remembers the meeting with the chancellor. "He apologized to the council for halting their investigation on Vampira. He then told them Vampira has been spotted heading towards Geonosis."

Ahsoka froze when her master mentioned the name of the planet. "Master, don't tell me."

Anakin said what he knew his apprentice was afraid to hear. "The Separatist have taken back Geonosis and are rebuilding their droid factories."

Ahsoka's heart dropped at what her master said. She swore after that second battle of Geonosis she wouldn't go back. Not after almost getting killed blowing up that droid factory and her encounter with the worm parasites. Just remembering what those creepy worms can do made her shudder.

"Does this mean we'll be going back?"

Anakin nods his head. "Yes, we'll be leaving soon to stop their forces from growing like last time."

Luminara can sense Ahsoka's fear of going back to the planet. She felt it from Barriss earlier when she told her about going back to the planet. Barriss became concern that they would encounter those parasites and would be under their control again. She didn't want to risk it, especially when she was forced to try killing her friend.

"Do not worry Ahsoka," said Luminara as she tries to calm the young Padawan down. "We've created a new device that will protect us from the parasites."

"It's true," said Anakin agreeing with the Jedi Master. "If we do go then we'll be more prepared this time."

Ahsoka tries smiling. "Thanks, so where is Barriss?"

"She went to go speak with Master Yoda," Luminara replied.

"Oh okay, I'll go see her then," said Ahsoka as she bows to Luminara and takes off.

Luminara watches the young Padawan walk away and a small smile crept on her face. "She has changed much these last few years. I almost forgot how years ago she fought alongside with me against Assajj Ventress, now…"

Anakin knew where Luminara was going with this. "I know, she has matured, become stronger, and wise. Obi Wan thinks I should ask the council to let her take the trials."

"Why don't you?" asked Luminara as she recalls a discussion she had with Aayla Secura. "She has grown much since she became your Padawan and many of us believe she is ready for the trials."

A part of Anakin knew she was right. Ahsoka has become strong and has shown to have the skills worthy of being a Jedi Knight. But, he was still not ready to let her go. He couldn't risk letting her go off on her own and risk getting killed.

"I'll think about it," replies Anakin as he lies to Luminara.

"Very well, I must go and rest," said Luminara as she bids Skywalker goodbye. "If you go on this mission to Geonosis, be careful. I sense a great evil waiting for us on that planet."

"Yeah," said Anakin as he begins walking away. And her name is Vampira.

Endor

The Power Rangers arrived to the Command Center, where they explained to Zane about what happened. He is surprised that Damien did in fact form an alliance with Dooku. He was afraid he would, especially if he tells them about the Power Rangers. This means it won't be long before he has the Separatist hunt the Rangers down and try killing them.

"I wish we were there to help you guys," said Jake feeling bad that they weren't there to help their friends against Vampira.

"It's okay," said Lux. "Even if we were all together she would have found a way to escape."

"Yeah, by the way sorry for the black eye Barriss," apologized Rachel towards her friend who has a big black eye on her right eye. "I should have power down when I punched you."

"It's okay Rachel," said Barriss reassuring her friend all is okay. "I used my healing abilities to make the swelling go down and the rest will go away on its own."

"I'm still surprise you let her punch you," said Rick who can't stop staring at the black eye. "I thought we told you how strong she is with her punches, even if she wasn't powered down.

Barriss narrows her eyes at Rick. "I forgot okay? I have been rather busy in case you didn't know."

"Calm down guys," said Jake trying to calm the group down. "The important thing is you survived and you managed to hold your own against Vampira."

"You guys were lucky," said Alpha as he brings the kids something to drink. "Vampira is one of Damien's most powerful monsters. It would take all six of you to try stopping her and that's only if she doesn't have Torus."

"The big bull thing right?" Rick asked who recalls hearing about the monster. "How strong is he?"

"Very strong," Nathan replied. "And he's invulnerable, right?"

Alpha nods his head. "He's the opposite of Vampira. She has the speed, while he has the power."

"Vampira showed a lot of power when I fought her," said Barriss who still felt sore after her fight. "Hard to imagine Skywalker survived against her twice."

"That's because she wasn't at full power," Zane respond as he enters the room. "She was only using her half her power. At full power she could wipe out the entire Jedi Order in one hour."

This now made the kids even more worried. They thought dealing with Damien's monsters was hard enough, but now they would have to deal with his two powerful henchmen?

"I take it we're going to receive more training?" Rachel asked.

Zane shook his head. "More power, but that will take time for me to get. In the meantime we need to focus on stopping whatever Damien is up to."

"Well," Barriss began as she tells the others what she was told. "I know the Separatist have taken back Geonosis. With Poggle now free, there's a good chance Damien will send his forces to assist the planet."

Nathan knew it was only a matter of time before that would happen. "I guess this means we will be involved in the war."

"No," said Jake as he steps forward. "We will get involved only if Damien is really involved in the fight. If he is we will go and take down his forces. But, only if the Republic can't handle it."

"If they do then we'll help out," said Lux agreeing with what his friend wants to do. "And we'll need to be careful not to be seen."

"I have been to that planet before," said Barriss as she speaks next. "I will contact you if we need assistance."

"Sounds like a plan," said Nathan as he turns towards Zane. "Are you okay with this?"

Zane nods his head. "If Damien makes his monster grow, you better hope the Dragonzord will be okay with fighting in a place like Geonosis."

Nathan lets out a small laugh and nods in agreement. "I'm sure my Zord won't mind. I hope."

Zane turns towards the other Rangers. "Remember, be careful. I have learned much about the Geonosians. If Damien is working with them, then there is no telling what he has plan with them."

Geonosis

Near a large mountain a droid factory has been built to create a new army of droids. They only had time to build one factory since it wouldn't be long before the Republic finds out they lost the planet. So, they had to build one factory in order to make as many droids for battle against the Clone army. Once they dispose of the clones they will be able to make more droid factories.

Inside the mountain lies the Separatist base, where Poggle is inspecting the base with General Grievous by his side. Nearby, Damien drinking some wine while Torus stands next to his master with his arms crossed.

Poggle speaks to Damien in his native language, which he has learned since arriving to his new galaxy. "Relax, my robots have this place secured and my new monster is gathering as many parasites as he can find from where you told us they would be found."

"Bah, I still don't understand why Count Dooku has decided to work with you," said Grievous who doesn't like the idea of working with someone like Damien. "You claim to have all this power and yet you do not plan to partake in this battle. Why should we listen to you?"

Torus steps in front of his master and stands before the cyborg general. Both are close to the same height, except Torus looked more intimidating than Grievous.

"Watch it, tin man. If you disrespect my master again, I will break you in two."

Grievous lets out a small laughter followed by a cough. "I think you should watch who you talk to, freak. I have killed many Jedi and killing you would not be much of a challenge."

Torus grabs Grievous's hand and begins crushing it. "Say that again."

"Enough!" ordered Damien causing Torus to stop. "As much as I enjoy you two argue, we have more important things to deal with."

Torus released Grievous's destroyed hand as the cyborg general backs away growling. "I should kill you where you stand."

"I said enough Grievous," said Damien as he sits up. "Or I just might let my bull loose on you."

Grievous turns towards Torus who is hoping for him to try something. Poggle speaks again and slams the bottom of his cane down on the floor.

"I agree with our friend," said Damien understanding what Poggle said. "Fighting with each other is pointless. We should focus all of this hatred on the Republic."

"Yes master," said Torus as he kneels down before his master.

"I am leaving Torus," said Damien as he finished with his drink. "I am putting you in charge. Make sure to give the Republic a warm welcome."

Torus nods his head. "What if the Power Rangers show up?"

Damien lets out a small laughter. "Then, they will be in for a surprise won't they?" He then turns towards Grievous. "Behave and I won't tell Dooku on you."

Grievous growls at Damien and wanted to kill him, but he had his orders. "Very well."

"Good," Damien opens a portal nearby and steps through it.

Torus turns towards Poggle. "Tell your warriors to be ready. The Jedi and their forces will be coming soon."

It looks like there are some problems between Torus and Grievous. Think they should fight? Think Barriss would have beaten Vampira if she used the Force or her lightsabers? And what do you think Damien is up to now that the Separatist has Geonosis?
