Chapter 19 is here and we are getting close to the third battle of Geonosis. Yep, for those who don't know, there were two before the third in this story. The first was from Attack of the Clones and the second in season two of the Clone Wars series. The third will be for my story and I hope you all like this.

I want to thank my friend for again his help on the story and to all you guys for the support you have given for the story. I appreciate it guys and hope you like this chapter. I don't own anything of Power Rangers or Star Wars just my OC and thanks to my friend for his help on coming up with some OCs for the story too, thanks. Calm before the storm

Coruscant

Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka Tano have been called in for a meeting with the Council about what happened. They were told by Master Windu that Geonosis, is once again under the control of the Separatist.

It happened after Vampira had freed the Separatist leaders. They knew with Poggle free it was only a matter of time before he tries to take his home back from the Republic. It didn't take long when Separatist forces attacked the Republic forces and took back the planet. They are now in the process of building a new army that they hope will be bigger than last time.

The Jedi knew they had to stop this before the army becomes too large for them to defeat. So the Chancellor began preparations to send a large fleet to take back the planet and put down the Separatist army before it gets too big.

Master Yoda has agreed to go to the planet, along with Master Windu, Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Luminara, and Skywalker. The Jedi begin going over their plans to take back the planet and put down the Separatist forces.

"There is at least seven Separatist ships orbiting the planet," said Master Windu as he shows a holographic image of the planet and ships. "Master Mundi, Luminara, and I will attack these ships, while Master Yoda, Kenobi, and Skywalker go to the planet to take down the Droid army."

"Hopefully that will be enough to end this battle before their numbers grow," said Master Mundi.

"I'm still surprise you wish to come along on this mission master," said Ahsoka who like the others is as surprised as she is about Master Yoda's decision.

"Assist I wish to do," Master Yoda explained. "End this quickly we must."

No one was going to argue with Master Yoda about assisting them in a battle. With him on their side the chances of putting down this third uprising is looking good.

"Skywalker, we'll need you and your forces to get to the droid factory before they can make more weapons," said Master Windu as he continues explaining the plan. "Once they lose their factory we'll be able to find Poggle and recapture him."

"What if we encounter Vampira?" Ahsoka asked.

The other Jedi look on worried about facing Vampira. If she is strong enough to hold her own against two well skilled Jedi at the same time, then chances of capturing her or defeating her looks very slim.

"We'll stop her," said Anakin. "If we do ten we'll find out who she is working for."

Obi Wan nods in agreement. "Capturing her won't be easy. It will have to take all us of to do this."

Master Yoda agrees with the idea. "Then work together we must and capture her we will."

Meanwhile

Jake and Rachel are at their parent's apartment with Rick. Barriss went back to the Jedi temple so no one would suspect she left. Lux is at the senate building where a meeting is taking place about the upcoming battle on Geonosis. Nathan headed back home to Almora until they need his help. So, for now the kids have to wait until Barriss contacts them if they run into trouble.

"So, what do you think we should do?" Rick asked while sitting on the sofa.

"Wait," Rachel replied as she brings him some water. "That's all we can do. It's not like we can play games while a fight is going on."

"That's true," said Rick who noticed his friend, Jake pacing around the room. "Something on your mind?"

Jake snaps out of his thoughts and turns towards his friend. "Just something Ahsoka told me the last time she was on Geonosis."

"What was it?" asked Rachel.

Jake sits down on a nearby chair and explains. "She told me how they encountered a parasite worm that can infect anybody. It goes up the nose and takes control over their minds. It infected Barriss once and it used her to try killing Ahsoka. She saved her, but came close to almost killing her friend."

"Whoa," said Rick who is disgusted by how the worms infect someone, but also intrigued. "Do you think Damien might try finding those things on the planet?"

Rachel shudders at the sheer thought of encountering those worms. "That would be so wrong if they went up my nose."

"I wouldn't worry about it sis," Jake replied. "Ahsoka told me those things were born from a Geonosian Queen that died during the second battle. So, I doubt those things are still around."

"Still," began Rick as he leans forward. "If Damien found those worms, what if he tries using them?"

This caused the room to become silent. They knew there is a good chance Damien could find those worms. If he did then he would try using them to his advantage. If he uses them on the clones or on the Jedi, he would have full control over them.

"We better tell dad," Rachel suggested.

Jake nods in agreement. "I'll call him."

Just before he can contact his father, they hear a knock on the door. Jake goes towards the door and opens it to see Ahsoka standing there.

"Hey, are you busy?" Ahsoka asked.

"N-no no I'm not busy," replies Jake as he steps aside. "Come in."

Ahsoka steps into the apartment and enters the living room. "I just came to tell you I am heading off to Geonosis in a few hours."

"Oh, so you are going after all?" Jake asked concerned for his friend. "And you're okay with that?"

Ahsoka was about to respond when she notices Rick and Rachel nearby. Jake turns to his sister and friend motioning them to leave.

"Oh look at the time," Rachel began as she checks her watch. "We should get going and do that…thing we're supposed to do with Lux, right Rick?"

Rick played along for his friend. "Yep, yep we need to help him with that thing we sent him…soooo we'll see you guys later. Good luck on your mission Ahsoka."

Rick and Rachel quickly took off leaving Jake alone with Ahsoka. "You were saying?"

Ahsoka ignored what just happened and continues. "I'm not sure if I want to go back. I mean I want to so I can help my master and my friends. It's just I'm worried that something bad is going to happen."

Jake then recalls something Ahsoka told him before. "Doesn't something always go bad on your missions? You've even told me bad things happen when you and Anakin go on a mission together."

Ahsoka wanted to argue against that, but she knew that was true. On every mission they go on something bad does happen. There has never been a mission where something goes wrong. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen.

"I guess you're right," Ahsoka sat down on the sofa and lets out a small sigh. "It's just last time I went there I almost got infected by those parasites and how I almost died. "

Jake sat down next to her and tries comforting her. "That was years ago. You've changed since then and I'm sure your skills have gotten better since last time. If anyone can get through this mission and come back alive, it's you."

Ahsoka smiles happily at her friend and nods. "Thanks you, I wish you could come along. Talking to you always seems to help me."

Jake nods in agreement. "I like talking to you too and I wish I could go as well. But, if my mom knew I snuck off to go to a warzone she would probably kill me…and then you."

"Why me?" Ahsoka asked confused.

"Because she would figure out you brought me along and would kill you," said Jake snickering a little. "Still, I wouldn't mind coming along and helping."

"Yeah," said Ahsoka who did wish her friend could come along. "Maybe next time you can come along. Maybe by then I can teach you how to fly a starfighter."

"Oh yeah," said Jake who remembers the deal Ahsoka and him made. "You still owe me some flight lessons."

Ahsoka looks over at the clock on the wall and came up with an idea. "We've got time before I take off. If you want I can teach you how to fly."

A smile appears across Jake's face. "Sounds like a plan, let's go."

Geonosis

Torus walks towards the command room where he sees Grievous marching around the table. The table shows a hologram map of the area. Torus can tell the cyborg general is thinking of a battle plan. He may not like him, but his ruthlessness is something he likes.

"I take it you've got a plan?" Grievous turns towards Torus as he approaches him. "I prefer a direct approach."

"Perhaps for someone like you it works," said Grievous as he turns towards the map. "But for us, it is foolish. I have no doubt the Republic will attempt to destroy our factory like they did the last time. But, we will be ready."

"Indeed we will be," Torus sees something break through floor and appears. "Drillago, is everything ready?"

Out from the ground appears a large 7ft monster. Its face is a large drill with two red eyes on the front. Its skin is dark, it has large hands with sharp claws, talon on its feet, and it appears muscular.

"I dug all over the area where you told me to dig," said Drillago in an accent Grievous didn't recognize. (Southern in case you guys didn't know) "Now if the Republic forces arrive, they'll be in for a big surprise."

"Good," he turns towards Grievous. "I will have Drillago attack the Clone forces without being seen. In the meantime you go to the droid factory and wait for the Jedi who attempt to destroy it."

Grievous refused to obey someone like Torus. However, he knew this plan did sound good. "Very well, but if you try betraying me Torus I will kill you."

Torus lets out a deep laughter. "I would like to see you try." He then turns towards Drillago. "Continue your work and if you see the Power Rangers, lure them to the other side of the canyons away from the battle."

"You got it boss man," Drillago jumps up and drills his way back into the hole.

Torus turns towards the table, while Grievous approaches him. "Why do you want these…Power Rangers away from the battle? How do you even know they'll come?"

"They'll come," said Torus who is confident the Rangers will show up. "As for why the master wants the Rangers away from the battle *laughs* let's just say he has something plan for them. But, it will only work if the Rangers are away from the battle."

"Does it involve those filthy parasites your Drillago brought back?" Grievous asked.

"You'll find out," said Torus. "When we put the plan into motion, until then be patient, and don't do anything stupid."

Coruscant

Anakin is at Padme's apartment so he can spend some time with her. It wouldn't be long before he takes off for his mission to Geonosis. So he decides to spend what little time he has to be with his wife. Of course Anakin wishes he would have more time than just a few hours.

He hates that they don't spend time together. If he doesn't have a mission, she is out working. When she's not working he is out on a mission. So they don't get a lot of time to be with each other as husband and wife.

For Anakin it frustrates him. He wants to spend less time in the battle and more with his wife. The two knew it would be hard, but they didn't think it would be this hard not to see each other all the time. Still, they try to make every minute count while they are together and they wouldn't let anything ruin it.

Padme enters the living room and sees Anakin looking outside. "Everything okay?"

Anakin nods his head. "I guess I'm a little distracted from the mission."

Padme understood and approached her husband. "Remember when we tried saving Obi Wan?"

Anakin remembers and how their rescue mission failed. They were captured and were brought out to an arena to be killed. Of course the one thing Anakin remembers more about that day was Padme confessing her love for him. The two kissed and after the battle, they got married.

"Do you remember when he got mad at you for coming to save him, instead of staying on Tatooine?"

Anakin turns to his wife with an eyebrow raised. "If I remember correctly, it was your idea to go save him and not to stay on the ship."

Padme counters back. "So why didn't you try stopping me? You were in charge of keeping me safe. You could have stopped me from leaving the planet. Instead you went with me to try helping Obi Wan."

Anakin knew that was true, part of it. "It's kind of hard to stop someone who I'm supposed to protect."

"Oh?" asked Padme with a mocked tone. "Are you saying the mighty Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker was unable to stop a politic? It looks like I have found your weakness huh?"

Anakin begins laughing and plays along. "I don't know what you're talking about my lady. I have no weakness."

"Oh no?" Padme moves over and sits on Anakin's lap. She leans forward and kisses him on the lips.

The two begin kissing with Anakin moving his right hand behind Padme's back and the other hand behind her head. He moves the head down and deepens their kiss. The two continue kissing for a few minutes before they break the kiss and stare at each other. Their eyes are filled with lust and love.

"I don't want to go," said Anakin who wanted to stay with his wife.

"I know," said Padme as she moves her head down against Anakin's chest. "I want you to stay, but we both know that you're needed out there."

Anakin lets out a small sigh. "I know, I just hate that we don't spend lot of time together."

Padme nods in agreement. She wishes they can spend more time together. They both knew it wasn't going to be easy, but they knew it was the choice they made being together. She moves off his lap and places her hand on his own.

"How long will you be gone?"

"I don't know," said Anakin who wasn't sure himself. "It probably won't be long if we take out the Separatist factory and capture Poggle."

"And you think this Vampira woman is there?" Padme asked.

Padme remembers Anakin telling her about this woman and how he came close to killing her on Naboo. How he let his anger get the better of him and almost killed her out of rage. He justified his actions because he was trying to save Obi Wan's life. But, Padme

"Maybe," said Anakin who hopes he does fight Vampira again.

"Will you let Ahsoka fight with you?" Anakin didn't say anything, but Padme guessed what his answer is. "I assume that's a no?"

Anakin nods his head. "She has gotten stronger, but she's not ready for Vampira. If we do fight her, I'll have Ahsoka leave so she doesn't get hurt."

Padme knew Anakin was right. After hearing what happened to Master Luminara and Barriss Offee, she knew it would be better for Ahsoka to not fight Vampira.

"Is she okay with that?"

"Yes, I explained she shouldn't get involved," Anakin replied as he gets up from the sofa. "She understands, even though I could tell she still wants to help."

"I can't blame her," Padme gets up from the sofa and hugs her husband. "Just be careful and don't let her get to you like before."

Anakin knew what Padme meant and nods his head. "I will, I promise."

Meanwhile

Ahsoka brings Jake onboard the Resolute, where she leads him towards her starship. "What do you think?"

Jake inspects the ship and whistles. "This looks pretty cool. Did you make this?"

Ahsoka nods her head. "My master helped me make most of it. The rest I did on my own."

"Well, you did a great job building it," Jake then noticed some blaster markings on some parts of the ship. "It looks like you've been through a lot of fights."

"Yep, most of them were in space," said Ahsoka as she approached Jake. "But, my ship didn't get destroyed as many times as Anakin's starfighter."

"I thought he was a good pilot," said Jake.

"Oh he is, but…" she turns towards Anakin's starfighter which has more blaster marks than Ahsoka's. "He ends up coming back with his ship being damaged."

"Oh," said Jake who decides to change the subject. "So, how many flight battles have you been?"

Ahsoka tried to remember all the flight battles she's been involved in. But, there was too many to count.

"Let's just say I've been in so many that I'm as good a pilot as my master."

Jake accepts the answer and moves on. "That's cool, so I will be learning how to fly from an expert pilot."

Ahsoka nods her head. "Yep, but remember we'll be starting with the basics. Are you okay with that?"

"Yes ma'am," said Jake while saluting.

Ahsoka giggles and takes Jake towards his starship, which was actually Anakin's. "You can use my master's. Don't worry, he won't be back for another few hours."

Jake mentally sighs in relief. "Cool, wait don't I need an astro-droid to use this?"

"Yes and you're going to get the best one. Hey R2, can you come over here?" Jake looks over and sees a blue astro-droid coming towards them. "This is R2-D2."

Jake lifts his hand and waves at the droid. "Nice to meet you R2."

R2 makes some beeping noise that only Ahsoka understood. "R2, this is my friend Jake. Do you mind helping me teach him how to fly a starfighter?"

R2 makes some beeping noises that Jake couldn't understand. He turns towards Ahsoka who seems to understand what he is saying.

"He's agreed to help. Are you ready?"

Jake nods his head. "Are you sure your master is okay with this?"

"Don't worry," said Ahsoka reassuring her friend. "I'll make sure you don't get in trouble. Now, let's go."

R2 enters the starfighter and opens the cockpit. Jake climbs onboard and puts on his seatbelt. He sees R2 speaking to him on the ship's computer. On the screen he can see what he is saying.

Ahsoka climbs onboard her starfighter and contacts Jake through the comlink. "All right, let R2 fly the ship until we get into orbit, okay?"

Jake grabs the com-link and responds. "Yeah, okay let's get going then."

Senate Building

The Chancellor walks into his office where he sees the lights are off. Looking over he sees someone sitting in his desk, with their feet up on the table. Closing the door behind him, he walks towards his desk and sees who it is.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

The figure snaps his fingers and the lights turned on. The figure turns out to be Damien who has an evil smile across his face. "I came for a visit. Is that a problem?"

"No problem," said Sidious who seems annoyed. "Although, you should have called before you came. As you can see, that mess your henchmen caused has left me with a lot of problems to deal with."

"Is that so?" asked Damien who didn't see any problems. "I haven't noticed."

Sidious pushes Damien's foot off the table. "You know what I'm talking about. It's bad enough that I've allowed your pets to cause problems, but some of those problems affect me too. So, I suggest you take this seriously or…"

Damien sits up and glares at Sidious. "Or what? You will end our deal? Go ahead, I will then tell your little Republic that you are the Sith Lord behind this war and then you would have to deal with the Jedi."

Sidious glares Damien back knowing he is right. If he wanted he could tell everyone the truth. If that happens his plan would be for nothing and he would not get what he wanted from Damien. So, for now he would need to be patient until he gets what he wants.

"Relax old man," said Damien who calms down. "I know what I'm doing. What we need to focus on is the Battle of Geonosis. I've put Torus in charge and I need to know if you want your precious Republic to win or not?"

The Republic has been suffering some losses ever since Damien arrived. For Palpatine to regain the good side of the people, they need this victory.

"Make sure the Republic wins, but kill the Jedi," said Sidious.

"Except for Skywalker," said Damien who knows the boy is off limit. "Killing his apprentice and former mentor in front of him should turn him down the Dark side sooner rather than later."

Sidious knew that was true. Skywalker is close to his friends and if he sees them be killed it would turn him. Then, he will have a new and more powerful apprentice. An apprentice who is the chosen one and is destined to destroy the Sith, but instead will destroy the Jedi.

"Oh yes there is one more thing," said Sidious when he remembered something. "What about the Power Rangers?"

"Don't worry," said Damien who seems confident. "I have created a new monster that will deal with them. I also found those Geonosian parasites I heard much about."

"You plan to control the Power Rangers?" Sidious asked.

Damien shook his head. "No, but I will use them to control something else."

Whatever Damien wants with those worms it can't be good. Think the Rangers will be ready for whatever he has planned? How do you think the third battle of Geonosis will go? And will the Jedi be careful if they encounter the parasites?
