Out of Darkness
At night in Lothal over a plain full of the local rock formations, Hera was flying the Phantom over the plains as she was being chased by some TIEs as something went wrong on the latest mission. Errol, Ezra and Sabine were onboard with her.
"Hera, shouldn't we be, uh, firing back?" Sabine asked, a bit worried.
"Stay calm. It's all part of the plan." Hera shrugged off.
"Is getting blasted out of the sky part of the plan too? Because if it is, then the plan's going great." Ezra asked, equally worried. Errol, however, didn't seem scared or worried in the slightest because he knew that with Hera being the pilot, it'll be alright.
"Ezra, you should know better." Hera confidently smirked.
"Yeah, we're talking about a pilot that makes it look easy." Errol added, assuring him.
"See, someone knows what they're talking about." Hera said. She then fired back and destroyed a TIE.
"There isn't a pilot in the Imperial fleet that can outrun me." She then bragged as the three teens came up behind her.
"Damn straight, beautiful." Errol agreed, placing a hand on her shoulder in an assuring way.
"Yeah. So, uh, how 'bout teaching me some of those high flyin' moves?" Ezra asked the pilot. Errol snorted at the very idea of Ezra piloting either the Ghost or the Phantom.
"You? Fly my ship? *chuckles* I don't know, Ezra. You really think you're ready?" She asked. Sabine found their back and forth amusing.
"Not ready. Not ready!" He exclaimed upon seeing that three TIEs were flying right towards them and then fired at the crew.
Hera flew in a different direction and swerved through the environment with ease and did not get hit by the TIEs.
"Well, we've gotten ourselves into another fine mess." Sabine said, rather annoyed.
"I admit it's a little messier than our intel indicated." Hera said. Errol now felt it was best to be silent since this would revolve around his parents as they are Fulcrum agents, and they're the ones to provide the intel.
"Yeah. That's been happening a lot lately. Where, may I ask, does this intel come from?" Sabine questioned. Errol kept his eyes on both her and Hera.
"You may ask." Hera told her, causing the young Mandalorian to look at her suspiciously.
"Look, can we not have an argument while we're being chased by TIE Fighters?!" Errol barked, shifting their attention.
"Yes, please! Dying is not something I'm looking forward to!" Ezra sided with him.
"Hang on!" Hera shouted as she accelerated speed and then made the ship fly on its side to get past a tight ravine, but the bottom of the Phantom scraped against one of the rocks. One of the TIEs decided to follow them through the ravine but it was too big and exploded.
An alarm was beeping on one of the monitors, with Ezra checking to see what it's telling.
"It's okay. Paint might be a little scratched, but no real damage." He informed Hera. However….
"Oh, there's damage. Steering's off." Hera said, moving the controls about, feeling that they're a bit loose.
"Not what this says." Ezra argued.
"Ezra, don't argue against Hera, she knows her ship better than any computer." Errol talked him down.
"Thank you, dear." She said, making him grin.
"Hey, I'm all for sticking it to the Empire, but what was in that convoy? You never told us why the mission was so important." Sabine brought up her suspicions again.
"I've told you before, Fulcrum's intel is on a need to know basis." Hera told her.
"And I told you before, I need to know more." Sabine frowned.
There were TIEs remaining and Hera had an idea. She fired at one of the rock formations and it crumbled, forming dust, which one of the TIE pilots flew into. He decided to get out by flying up, but that caused him to fly into the other TIE, destroying both of them at once.
Everyone let out a collective sigh of relief. However, they weren't aware that the scrape cut the fuel line and they were leaking.
Hera flew the Phantom to the Ghost, which was out in space.
They then entered the common room where Kanan, Zeb and Chopper waited for them.
"Everyone okay?" Kanan asked.
"We're fine, but I scraped the Phantom's underbelly." Hera explained as Errol and Sabine sat on the seats.
"You?" Kanan questioned in disbelief.
"Watch your tone, Jarrus." Errol warned him.
"It was somewhat unavoidable, once your plan went south." Hera then said to the older Jedi with a sly grin.
"Ah, there we go. Knew there had to be a way this was my fault." Kanan replied as Zeb and Ezra were walking to the kitchen, wanting to get something to eat.
"And you were right, Kanan. Zeb, I'll need the Phantom ready to pick up supplies from Fulcrum. Adjust the steering and run a diagnostic. Chopper and Ezra will help you fix any problems you find." Hera said to Kanan and then to Zeb, Chopper and Ezra who were annoyed they had to do some work.
"*scoffs* Really? Have you met them?" Zeb questioned.
"Hey!" Ezra whined, smacking his arm and Chopper growled.
"And I'm leaving soon, so get to it." Hera then told them, walking out of the room. Errol followed her. Ezra and Zeb climbed up the ladder and Kanan and Chopper made their way into the kitchen.
Sabine sat there still, feeling as though she isn't trusted that much.
Hera sat in the cockpit and entered the ship into Hyperspace. Errol joined her later with a bottle of water to drink from and then Kanan entered with two cups of juice for himself and Hera.
"What happened out there?" He asked them.
"Well, we took out the target." Hera said as Kanan handed her a cup.
"Yeah. I got that part." He replied.
"Fulcrum was right about the timing and route but underestimated the Imperial defenses." Hera explained and then took a sip. She then noticed that Errol has been silent the whole time and he looked a bit cautious and on edge.
"It's getting harder to anticipate the Empire's moves. That's for sure." Kanan said. And then the door opened suddenly and Sabine charged in, clearing her throat.
"Yeah, about that. I'd like to know why we're relying on intel from this Fulcrum, whoever he is." Sabine said. Errol darted his away from everyone, which doesn't go unnoticed by Hera. She is now suspecting there's something going on.
"It's Hera's job to find missions that create problems for the Empire and profit for us. If she trusts the contact, I trust the contact. No questions asked." Kanan reasoned, getting up and walking right up to her.
"At the Imperial Academy, they didn't want me to ask questions either. That didn't work for me. That's why I ended up here." Sabine explained. Hearing this, Errol can at least understand why she's a bit on edge about his parents.
"And we're glad to have you." Kanan assured, not realising as to what she's implying.
"You are so frustrating." She sighed in annoyance.
"Yeah, I've heard that before." He told her as he walked off.
"Fine. I'm done asking questions. I'm telling you. I'm coming on your run to meet Fulcrum." She then told the pilot, shocking both her and Errol.
"You know, you can be pretty frustrating too." Hera told her.
"Learned from the best." Sabine shrugged.
"Well, then I'll come. Just in case your sass can cause problems." Errol said for the first time, but his tone was a bit stiff. The two were a bit surprised since he's always been more open, casual and talkative.
Once they exited Hyperspace, the three heard a commotion right on the other side of the door so they opened it to see Zeb, Ezra and Chopper in the middle of a fight but acted as though nothing happened.
"I take it you finished repairs?" Hera asked the trio.
"Uh, you were right. The steering needed fixing, which I did." Ezra told her, holding up a tool. Chopper then chattered.
"And life support filters needed purging, which we also did." Zeb then said, wrapping an arm around Ezra. Chopper then got angry, ramming into Ezra and shocking Zeb and then sped off.
"Chopper! I'm gonna dismantalate that nut bucket!" Zeb shouted as he chased after the astromech.
"Leave a few bolts for me!" Ezra as well chased after Chopper. Hera, Sabine and Errol looked at each other slightly amused.
"Let's go." Hera told the teens and so they got their weapons and Errol grabbed his helmet and then they got into the Phantom and detached before flying to the meeting point.
"So what's the deal? Is Fulcrum just another smuggler like Vizago? Why all the secrecy?" Sabine fired off questions on Hera. Errol had to stop himself from snapping at her for disrespecting his parents by calling them smugglers and comparing them to Vizago.
"It's no secret we're fighting against the Empire. We need as many allies as we can get." Hera answered.
"How do you find a way of answering questions without giving any answers?" Sabine was flabbergasted.
"Do you really want me to answer that?" Hera asked, with Sabine nodding.
"What do you think, Errol?" Sabine asked, who was sitting there, silent the whole time.
"Fulcrum is not some smuggler, Wren." He coldly stated. Hera is now getting both concerned and hurt seeing how Errol is. Concerned because he's never acted like this, but hurt because she thinks that he knows something about Fulcrum and isn't telling her, feeling shut out. That really hurt because of their bond.
Suddenly the comms came on.
"Phantom, this is Fulcrum. Come in." A modulated voice spoke.
"This is Specter-2, Fulcrum." Hera responded.
"Why don't I talk to him?" Sabine suggested, causing Hera's eyes to widen.
"Don't you dare." She warned her, pointing a finger at the young Mandalorian.
"Already at the rendezvous, Spectre-2. Supplies are unloaded and ready. Shout I wait?" Fulcrum said. But before Hera can reply, Sabine decided to butt in.
"Yeah, stick around. Spectre-2 and I would love to talk to you." She said over the comms.
"Spectre-2, what's the problem?" Fulcrum asked in confusion.
"No problem, Fulcrum. Spectre-5 and Spectre-6 decided to help with the supply run." Hera told them, upset at Sabine.
"Understood. Fulcrum out." They replied and comms were cut off.
"You know, an outburst like that is not appreciated." Hera scolded the teen.
"Neither is all this secrecy." Sabine shot back.
"It is, Sabine. You just don't know the context." Errol stated.
They flew toward an asteroid belt and are heading to asteroid PM-1203 where an old Republic base from the Clone Wars remains.
The Phantom landed at the base and the three exited with Errol putting his helmet on.
"So, where's the mystery man?" Sabine asked, not seeing anyone there. Errol took this opportunity to use the Force and see if either of his parents were there and yet he didn't sense anyone.
"They're not here." He informed them.
"And besides, maybe Fulcrum didn't like your attitude. I know I didn't." Hera added as they walked, not knowing that the fuel was leaking.
The trio walked up to some crates with Hera examining them until she looked at a green one that had the Fulcrum symbol on it. Errol saw it and smiled underneath the helmet as that symbol has a connection to his mom, Ahsoka.
"I'll take that one." Hera told Sabine as she was trying to grab it. They all then activated the levitation on these crates and pushed them to the Phantom.
However something was watching them, deep in the darkness of the base. Errol sensed it watching them and so he was now on edge ready to fight if need be.
"Look, Hera, I'm sorry for the attitude. It's just things seem to be getting more dangerous every day, and I need to know that you and Kanan can trust me." Sabine apologized.
"We trust you, Sabine. We just can't tell you everything. It's for the safety of the whole crew. If captured, you can't reveal what you don't know. Errol agrees with me, don't you?" Hera said.
"Yeah." He simply said. Hera was not getting a bit frustrated by how he's acting right now. Either way, Sabine felt offended.
"You think I'd talk?" She asked the Twi'lek, stepping in front of her, making her and Errol stop.
"I think- We think the Imperials can make anyone talk. You've seen what they're capable of." Hera told her.
"Yeah, I have. That's why I need to know." Sabine argued.
"You already know exactly what you need to know and no more. I need you to trust me now." Hera assured her, pushing the crate forward with Errol and Sabine.
"And that's supposed to make me feel better?" Sabine scoffed.
"Hera, you know what happened when I was a cadet at the Imperial Academy on Mandalore. I trusted the Empire, followed its orders blindly, and it was a nightmare." Sabine then went on as they got the crates into the Phantom. Hera was a bit saddened hearing this and Errol was shocked to hear as to what it was like to be in the Empire.
"I want to believe we're doing good, making a difference. But sometimes it seems like the harder we fight, the harder things get out there. I feel like we can't take down the Empire on our own. That's why I need to know this isn't all for nothing. I need to know that I'm not walking into another nightmare here." Sabine then pleaded as they walked to get more crates.
Hera knew she needed to say something to her to calm down, so she turned and grabbed a hold of her shoulders.
"What you need is faith. Faith that there is a long term plan that's bigger than you, me or Errol, bigger than Lothal, bigger than the entire Outer Rim. Have faith in that and in us. We- Kanan- He knows what he's doing." Hera did her very best to assure the young Mandalorian.
Errol looked back at the crates, only to realise there's something wrong.
"Uh, girls. You need to see this." He told them, walking up to the crates, realising that there's some missing and that there's claw marks on the ground, confirming his suspicions that there's something here.
They frowned seeing this and looked towards the open blast doors.
"There were more crates, but someone's dragged them away." Hera said.
"Maybe he's still here." Sabine considered, referring to Fulcrum.
"It is not Fulcrum. It's something worse." Errol darkly shot the idea down.
"Well, who else knows about this place?" Sabine asked, a bit concerned.
"Not sure. This base was abandoned years ago, after the Clone Wars. Besides, why drag them? Why not use the anti-grav?" Hera said. They then noticed it was darker so they looked up at the sky and saw an asteroid float in front of the sun.
"Whoa. Sunrise comes along fast in these parts." Sabine commented.
"Let's see what else comes along." Hera suggested as she grabbed her blaster and a flashlight, Sabine wielded her two blasters and Errol wielded one in one hand and ignited his lightsaber in the other as they entered the base through the blast doors.
Hera shined the light around and saw an old Republic ship that was all wrecked, and then panned around and the whole base was just as wrecked. As though creatures were using this place as a lair of some kind.
They then found one of the crates, opened, on its side and with claw marks on it.
"Whoever did this must have been pretty eager to get what was inside." Sabine said. Errol tuned into the Force and felt the presence of more than one creature watching them.
"Too eager to just flip the latch and open them? Who would-" Hera said but got interrupted when they heard a clattering from somewhere deep in the darkness.
"Not someone. Something." Errol said, tightening his grip on his weapons. They then heard chittering.
"That's comforting." Sabine sarcastically said.
"You don't happen to know why this base was abandoned?" She then asked but then they heard hissing and they all got their weapons ready.
"I'm starting to have my suspicions." The captain said as she panned the flashlight and they all backed up. Errol felt a literal chill up his spine, and whenever that happens with him, there's something behind him. The girls then heard a sound behind them and so all three turned and gasped to see a feral creature with yellow eyes roar at them.
All three started firing at it but Hera dropped her flashlight and it went out. Errol realised he didn't need the lightsaber right now so he turned it off and wielded both blasters at once as Hera shot the creature in the head, making it run away.
Errol noticed there were more of them and they all fired at them.
"RUN!" He barked out and the trio ran for it out of there and when one of these things tried to get outside, it stopped and screeched in pain when sunlight came into contact with it.
They stopped and turned around, aiming their blasters, ready to fire back. An asteroid flew over the sun, causing a huge shadow down on them and these creatures ran and so the three fired but then the shadow was gone within seconds and the creature again screeched in pain from the sunlight and they ran back into the darkness in the base.
"Whatever those creatures are, they can't take the sun." Hera noticed as they holstered their blasters.
"Good, but do you see the size of that asteroid? That's going to block out the sun for a long time." Sabine informed them, pointing to said asteroid.
"Well, that's just great. How long?" Errol said in frustration.
"I don't know. Long enough for us to become lunch." Sabine exasperated.
"Luckily we weren't planning on staying. Alright. Let's get to work." Hera said to the two and they pushed the last remaining crates into the Phantom, not seeing the large pool of fuel.
"Last one." Sabine said, pushing the last one in.
"Good. Let's go." Hera said as the door closed.
She then got into the pilot seat and the controls were beeping and the fuel gauge was really low, to their horror.
"No, no, no, no, no! We had nearly a full tank when we landed. Now we're out of fuel?" Hera questioned. Errol frowned, thinking about Zeb.
"Why don't we ask Zeb about this?" Errol asked.
"Way ahead of you, dear." She angrily said.
"Spectre-2 to Spectre-4. Come in. Spectre-2 to Spectre-4. Come in!" Hera urgently said through the comms.
"Go ahead, Spectre-2." Zeb replied through the comlink.
"You did run a full diagnostic on the Phantom, correct?" The captain asked.
"Of course." He instantly replied.
"Did you check the results?" Errol asked, hinting at his annoyance. And then there was silence for a while, meaning that they realised they didn't do it and went to check.
"Um, Spectre-2, Spectre-6, there might be a problem with the fuel line." Zeb then told them.
"Small problem? Small problem?! I'll give you a small problem, we were attacked by some creatures and we need your help, now!" Errol snapped at the Lasat, who was cringing so bad on the other end.
"We're on our way. Ghost out." Kanan suddenly said, cutting comms off.
"No way they get here before that asteroid blocks the sun and-" Sabine was saying but then the creatures screeched.
"I guess we could hole up in the Phantom?" She considered.
"Really? Considering the torn up shuttle in there, the Phantom won't do much good." Errol reminded her.
"Yeah, it could get grim. We need a better plan." Hera said. Sabine had a thoughtful look and then an idea came to mind.
"Well, I'll take grim right now." She said and walked up to some red canisters. She then examined them and grinned seeing that they are what she thought they are.
"Errol, are you going to tell me what is going on with you?" Hera questioned as they followed Sabine.
"Later." He just stated. Hera was now getting a bit fed up with his behavior and wants to get to the bottom of it.
"Thought I recognised these markings." She said and then pressed a button, causing a canister to power up.
"Allow me to introduce you to one of my oldest and most explosive friends: rhydonium." Sabine told the pair, gesturing to the other canisters.
"It's good to have friends. So what's your plan?" Hera asked her.
"Since we don't know how many of those creatures are in there, we can set up groups of canisters and create explosions that take them out a wave at a time." Sabine said her plan and Errol nodded, thinking it was good.
"How will you get the creatures close enough to the rhydonium to be effective?" Hera asked.
"We're gonna need bait." Sabine revealed.
"Where do we get that?" Hera asked her again.
"We don't get it. We are it." Sabine corrected. Errol doesn't like the sound of them, especially Hera getting in harm's way.
"I'm not letting you two be at risk. I'll be the bait." He told them. Hera immediately wanted to protest, fearing for his life, but remembered that he's a Jedi and his armour can take a beating, so reluctantly, she nodded.
"Let's do this." She told them and then they all placed the canisters in particular places, ready for those things. Once they were done, Errol was about to walk to the blast doors when Hera grabbed him by the hand to make him face her.
"Just be careful, okay?" She cautioned him before giving him a tender hug. He was a bit surprised by this action, but hugged her back and patted her on the shoulder, comfortingly.
"Hey, it's me." He said, smiling underneath the helmet as they parted.
He walked towards the blast doors when the big asteroid started blocking the sun. As he got closer, he heard the creatures and then saw one by one of the canisters. It then dove for him but he used the Force to push it back and fired one of his blasters at the canister, making it explode, taking the creature with it.
"There's more of them." He informed them through the comms when he saw them crawling up to him as he grabbed his lightsaber and ignited it.
"Fall back! Wave two!" Hera ordered him and so he ran back, dodging them as he did. He then stopped on a spot and slashed some of them. An odd one bit him on the arm but because of the Beskar, they didn't injure him. Once there were plenty of them, he threw his lightsaber at the canisters, making them explode and take out a significant amount of them. He then used the Force to pull his lightsaber back to him.
"We just might survive this." He told them through the comms.
"Are you telling me, you doubted my plan?" Sabine asked him.
"A bit." He honestly teased.
"Hey!"
"Well, I sure did." Hera agreed with him, happy to see him become more of his usual self.
"You too?!"
One of the creatures however got back up and snarled.
"Errol, move! They're closing in. Wave three." Hera then said and he ran back as those things came out. Errol took out one of his blasters and shot the canisters, making another explosion. Sabine and Hera helped as well since they're getting closer and closer.
"Wave four! Incoming!" Hera said before running to the Phantom Errol and Sabine ran as well.
"There's lots of them." Errol pointed out.
"Sounds familiar." Hera said. The three all grouped up and shot some more of these creatures. Then a huge wave charged towards them and they nodded.
"Light it up." Hera said and they all fired at the remaining canisters, causing a ginormous explosion. The creatures reacted to the fire and were smart enough to get to them by the sides.
"Great, they're coming in from the sides." Errol said as they backed up.
"What about wave five?" Sabine wondered.
"We didn't have a plan for wave five." Hera gave her the grave bit of info.
"Afraid of that. The Phantom?" Sabine asked.
"Not inside. Go up top." Hera ordered and so Errol got up first and helped the two girls up. They then fired their blasters with the odd creature climbing up but got kicked down.
"They just keep coming!" Sabine said as they kept firing.
"We don't need the obvious to be pointed out right now." Errol spat as he stomped on one of the creatures and shot it's head point blank.
"We're going to die." Sabine then said.
"That's no secret." Hera stated.
These things just kept coming until a bright light shined down, causing them to run away. The trio looked up to see the Ghost hovering with it's lights beaming.
The ramp opened up with Ezra and Zeb ready to help. The creatures backed up but one of them noticed the light didn't hurt them so they are getting ready to try and get them.
"The light ain't hurting them!" Errol proclaimed.
"Then we better move." Hera said and they went back to firing their blasters at them.
Zeb and Ezra fired at the creatures as well as Kanan lowered the Ghost.
Ezra slingshot one of these things and it flew back. He then jumped down with the trio.
"Sabine! I got your back." He said, firing at more of them, giving cover for Sabine, Hera and Errol to jump onto the ramp.
"These guys aren't so tough." Ezra commented, not knowing one of these things was about to sneak up on him.
Errol saw this and fired at it, in the eye, making it screech in pain.
Ezra then fell back when one of them tried to swipe at his feet. He fired his slingshot but it hardly did anything.
"Karabast!" He cursed right before it leaped on him, trying to bite his face off.
Errol holstered his blasters and wielded his lightsaber as he jumped off, kicked it off of Ezra and sliced its head off.
"Let's go!" He told Ezra as he helped him up and they got to the ramp. Errol used the Force to stop one in mid air and threw it back as everyone else fired their blasters.
"Nice moves out there, champ." Zeb said to Ezra before punching one of the creatures right when the Ghost levitated higher. Hera ran to the cockpit.
"Chopper! Close her up!" Zeb instructed the astromech and he did so only for one to get stuck.
"No hitchhikers!" Errol spat at the thing, giving it a very strong Force push and the ramp fully closed.
"We're all aboard, Kanan." Errol then told the older Jedi through the comms.
"Something's wrong. She's not responding." He said as their captain entered.
"Rerouting auxiliary power to the hull." Hera said, flicking all kinds of switches and one of the creatures on the windshield, suddenly got shocked.
"Didn't know the Ghost could do that." Kanan said in amazement.
"There's a lot you don't know about my ship. Chopper, reroute coolant to the engine." Hera said, leaving Kanan with a wide grin.
"Thanks for saving me, Tank Boy." Ezra said to Errol as they headed for the cockpit.
"No problem." He said. Chopper beeped to Hera as she hovered over the Phantom for the magnetic lock.
"Engaging magnetic lock." Hera said and they grabbed the ship. They then made it out of there.
They grabbed the crates from the Phantom and unloaded them into the cargo bay. Ezra and Zeb had purely guilty looks on their faces.
"Look, Hera, I'm sorry about not checking the diagnostic." Zeb apologized.
"We're all sorry. Right, Chopper?" Ezra backed the Lasat up. Chopper beeped.
"Anyway, we'll fix the Phantom." Ezra then told her.
"Don't even worry about it." Zeb added.
"Now, why would I worry?" Hera asked in a rather cheerful tone. Errol came up next to her and Sabine exited the turret.
"Mmm. Maybe because the last time they 'fixed' it, we nearly wound up as lunch?" Sabine questioned, equally as lightly.
"That's more than likely why." Errol then said as the trio climbed up the ladder to the common room.
Sabine was heading to her quarters when Hera and Errol walked up to her.
"Sabine, I know you have questions, questions I can't answer right now. But know that I trust you. I just trusted you with my life down there, just as much as Errol." Hera told her.
"I know. I know you do." The young Mandalorian said, feeling a bit guilty.
"Good. We are making a difference, Sabine. And I promise: we won't always be fighting this battle alone. Do you think you can trust me?" The Twi'lek said. Errol was now reminded that he had to talk with her about his attitude.
"I think I can try." Sabine said with a smile and then entered her quarters with the door closing.
Errol and Hera then looked at each other.
"Let's talk." He said, gesturing to their quarters and so they entered. Errol took his helmet off and he looked a bit guilty.
"Hera, I know that I acted out of character earlier. There's a reason for it. And so, I'm going to explain, mainly because you're my best friend, and I don't want to leave you in the dark." He told her. She felt butterflies in her stomach when he said this.
"Okay." She just said.
"Well, remember what you said to Sabine about not telling her about Fulcrum? Apply that kind of logic with my parents." He started. Hera looked at him in confusion.
"Why?" She asked him.
"There's a reason why I don't talk about them much. They have ties to Fulcrum and I don't want to risk the Empire capturing them. My parents mean everything to me and it would pain me knowing it would be because I told you and the crew about them if any of you get captured." He then explained further.
Hera was shocked but now finally understood why he didn't say much about them. He was just wanting to protect his family. Now understanding, she smiled and hugged him tenderly.
"I understand. At least you told me." She said. Errol smiled and hugged her back.
"Hopefully, if things change, you just might meet my parents. You'll get along with them, especially dad." He told her as they parted.
"I'll hold you to it, then." She said and then they exited their quarters and Hera flew the ship through space.
