Chapter 20 is here and we are now getting to another special arc of the story. The third battle of Geonosis, which I think you will all enjoy. Won't be a long battle like last time, but it will be good none the less. So, thanks to everyone for the support of this story and to my friend for his help on it.
Also Happy Memorial Day, to all the soldiers that gave up their lives to protect their home. So thank you for everything and for keeping our freedom safe from those who would want to harm us. I don't own anything of Power Rangers or Star Wars just my OC and thanks to my friend for his help on coming up with some OCs. Let the next chapter started and we hope you enjoy this.
Geonosis battle part I
Geonosis
Ten Republic ships appeared out of hyperspace and head towards the planet. Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano are onboard the Resolute. They are talking to the other Jedi who were send on the mission.
Master Windu, Luminara, Mundi, Kenobi, and Yoda are on their ships as they begin going over the plan on retaking the planet. Master Windu, Luminara, and Mundi will remain in orbit to try to take down the Separatist ships.
Meanwhile Anakin Skywalker will go down to the planet with Master Kenobi and Yoda will go down to the planet to take out the Droid army. The good thing is they were able to find out the Separatist forces are not as big as last time, but that doesn't mean they aren't dangerous.
"We will drive the Separatist forces away from the factory, while Anakin takes his forces to blow up the factory," Obi Wan explained as he shows a holographic image of the Separatist factory.
"I'm assuming Poggle is hiding somewhere," Anakin asked.
Master Yoda nods. "Hidden somewhere he is. Find him we will."
"Until then we'll need to focus on taking down the Separatist forces," Master Windu as he shows another holographic image of Separatist ships. "We have identified one of the ships to belong to General Grievous. If he is on the planet, then we'll need to capture him and Poggle to turn the tide of the war."
"Anakin, be careful," Obi Wan warned. "I have fought General Grievous before, and he will do anything to win."
"We'll be fine, right Ahsoka?" Anakin asked as he turns towards his Padawan.
She nods in response. "I have learned much since we last fought. This time, with my master we'll take him down together."
"Hmmm great care we must take," said Master Yoda who sensed something is wrong. "Alone Grievous may not be."
Geonosis
Torus is inside the Separatist base as he looks up in the computer, which shows the Republic forces coming. He knew they would come, which means the Power Rangers will arrive as soon as they figure out he is on the planet.
As soon as that happens he will spring the trap. He sensed someone approaching as the doors open and in came his master.
"Torus," Damien began. "Is everything ready for the plan?"
Torus kneels and bows his head. "Yes master, Dr. Vindi has assured me they are ready. For his sake, they better be."
Damien looks pleased as he moves towards the computer. "The old man wants us to lose the battle. He knows a loss here will give the Separatist control, which he doesn't want to happen."
Torus snarls. "Why? I thought he wanted to control the galaxy?"
Damien begins to laugh. "Order 66 will make sure every Clone becomes obedient, and obey any order without question. These droids are mindless and stupid, so they are no use to control an entire galaxy. He sees these Clones, which were created through the DNA of a Mandalorian warrior, are more useful than droids. And I happen to agree with him."
Torus knew that was true. "So, how does he want the fight to end?"
"He said to spare a few hundreds, however," Damien began as he turns towards his loyal subject. "I say keep at least ten alive, the rest kill."
Torus nods. "And the Jedi"
"Spare Skywalker, we still need him, but as for his friends," Damien speaks in a dark tone. "Kill them, kill them all."
Orbit
Master Windu, Mundi, and Luminara's forces begin their attack holding the Separatist fleet back, while their allies make it past the blockade and head towards the planet. Anakin and Ahsoka enter the gunship with their Clones as they go over the location where they'll be landing.
They know they can't land near the factories due to the anti-air turrets that will shoot them down. So they would have to keep their distance from it.
Luckily for them Barriss still remembers about the different locations on the planet. After finding out where the factory would be at, she told them there are some caves they can take that can lead them inside the factory.
It won't be easy since the caves are probably going to have Geonosians inside. However, if they get through them without alerting the enemy they'll be able to make it inside the factory.
Anakin guessed the Separatist would probably know about the caves. Still, it was a risk they had to take. Even if the cave isn't there, where they are landing will be close enough to the factory. So, either way they'll find their way in.
"Okay, so once we get to the factory we'll place the detonators around these locations," said Anakin as he shows the Clones and Ahsoka the key parts of the factory. "After that we'll make our escape and detonate the explosives, which will destroy the factory."
"I take it there is a downside to this plan?" Rex asked knowing how in all the plans Skywalker makes, there is always a downside to them.
"Just one," Anakin turns towards Ahsoka. "I need you and the others to plant the bomb, while I deal with General Grievous."
"Are you sure you can handle him?" Ahsoka asked who has faith in her master's skills, but against someone he never fought before she wasn't sure.
"I'm sure," Anakin replied as he turns towards Rex. "If any droids tries to get involved, take them out."
Rex nods his head. "You got it sir."
They feel the gunship begin to take off as they hold on. The gunships leave the cruiser and head towards the planet. They can feel the ship shaking a little bit, but nothing to be worried about. If it starts shaking harder, then that's when they will run into some trouble.
Anakin turns towards Ahsoka who has her eyes closed. "Snips don't worry. We'll make it through this like we always do."
Ahsoka nods her head slowly, but kept her eyes closed. "I know, I just hope the weapons will work against the parasites."
"They will," said Anakin who also hopes they do work otherwise the mission will be compromised.
"Hold on boys," spoke the pilot. "We're about to run into some trouble."
On cue the ship begins shaking harder than before. The Separatist turrets have opened fire on the Republic gunships, trying to shoot them down.
They managed to blow some out of the sky, but the ones the Jedi are on made it through. Three of Skywalker's gunships break off and head towards the location of the cave.
They found where the cave is and land the ships. The Jedi and their soldiers get off then look around to see if there are any signs of the enemy.
After a minute they secured the area and found no traces of the enemy. One of the clones found the cave and sends in a small probe droid to make sure the area is secure.
Looking through a small monitor, they can see what the droid sees. "It looks like the tunnel is secure. No signs of any droids of Geonosians."
Ahsoka takes a look at the cave as it goes deeper. She then notices something is off. "Hold on, go back for a second?" The clone moves the probe droid back a little. "Master, these tunnels don't look like the kind the Geonosians made. It looks like someone dug through here."
Anakin takes a look and realizes his Padawan is right. "Parts of it looks like Geonosians made, but you're right the rest does look like it has manmade."
"Should we be concern sir?" Rex asked.
Anakin had a bad feeling about this, but he knew they didn't have a choice. Right now their allies are fighting the droid army and they don't have time to waste.
"Let's go in," said Anakin as he turns to the clones near the gunships. "Stay here and keep an eye out." He then turns towards Ahsoka. "Are you ready?"
Ahsoka nods her head. "Let's go."
Meanwhile
Obi Wan and Master Yoda arrived to the battle field to see the droid army marching towards them. The Clone army took cover and began opening fire on the droids. The gunships bring in the AT-TE tanks and they begin opening fire. The droids bring in their AAT tanks and opened fire.
Both sides continued fighting, while the Jedi look on. Obi Wan takes out his binoculars and sees how things are going so far. "So far things are looking good. Although, I sense something might go wrong."
Master Yoda nods in agreement. "Stay on guard we must and look out for anything suspicious."
Suddenly the AT-TE tanks begin falling through the ground. The Jedi look on in shock at what just happened. As the Clones go to check on what happened they get blasted down by the same robots that attacked Naboo. The Clones open fire on the robots, which dodge the attacks and kill the Clones.
Obi Wan ignites his lightsaber and fights back against the robots slicing through them. He uses the Force to send several flying, but they land on their feet and open fire at him. He deflects the blasters back and begins to get overwhelmed. That was until Master Yoda appeared and used the Force to send the robots flying even farther than how Obi Wan did it.
"Thank you," said Obi Wan towards the Grand Jedi Master.
Master Yoda nods his head and ignites his lightsaber. "Hold them off we must." Obi Wan nods in agreement as the two Jedi join the Clones to fight the robots.
As they slay more of the robots Obi Wan recognizes them. "They are the same ones from Naboo."
Master Yoda jumps over one that came in to attack him. He lands on the robot's head and uses his lightsaber to cut it off.
"Hmmm troubling this is."
"Do you think Vampira is here?" Obi Wan deflects more of the blasters from the robots as he uses the Force to grab a grenade from a dead Clone and tosses it at the robots destroying them.
"If here she is then contact Skywalker we must," said Master Yoda as he uses the Force to send the droids nearby flying.
"I just hope Anakin doesn't do anything crazy like fight her," Obi Wan then realized he just answered his own question. If he does he better be careful.
Separatist base
Torus sees the robots attacking the Clone army and knew this will get the attention of the Rangers. Now, it is the time to make their move as he turns towards Vampira.
"Drillago is out on the field. It's time for the trap to be spring."
Vampira nods in agreement as she begins chanting her spell. Her hand begins to glow as she lifts it into the air. "You're weak and small, but with a little help you'll grow big and strong!"
Coruscant
The Rangers are all at Alexis and Nathan's apartment waiting around in the living room. There is no training today since they are waiting to see if Damien is on Geonosis.
So, until then they couldn't do nothing but wait. For some of them they do hope Damien isn't involved and everything will be okay for the Republic forces.
Jake is on the floor of the apartment looking at the ceiling worried about Ahsoka. Rick is sleeping on the couch, while Rachel is reading a book. Lux brought some of his paperwork with him to work on. And Barriss is meditating while floating in the air.
"Do you think they'll be okay?" Jake asked towards Barriss.
Barriss nods her head without opening her eyes. "They'll be fine, this is not the first time they have gone on a mission and they'll make it through this."
Lux puts his paperwork away. "But if Damien is involved they'll need our help."
Rachel nods in agreement. "I still wonder if Master Yoda is strong enough to take down any of Damien's monsters."
That causes Barriss to open her eyes and gently float back to the floor. "He is powerful, so he might be able to do it. It would be a sight to see."
Jake nods in agreement. "I heard he did well against Dooku and could have beaten him."
"I bet dad could beat him too," said Rachel as she puts her book away. "If he did that the war would end."
"That would be good," said Barriss who does hope the war ends before the Jedi become more corrupted.
Suddenly their communicators begin beeping. Rick wakes up and falls off the couch. "What just happened?"
"Sounds like trouble," Jake activates his communicator. "Alpha, what's wrong?"
"Rangers, Damien's robots have been sighted on Geonosis. They are attacking the Clone Army and the Jedi," Alpha answered.
The Rangers looked at each other surprised that Damien is indeed working with the Separatist and his forces are attacking the Jedi.
"Alpha, can you send you to the planet?" Rachel asked.
"Yes," Alpha replied. "But, it will have to be away from the battle. We have detected a monster heading towards the battle."
Barriss turns towards the others. "If this monster attacks them the Republic forces will be wiped out."
"Then let's go stop them," said Jake as the Rangers take out their morphers.
"It's Morphin Time!" called all five Rangers in unison.
"Mastodon!"
"Pterodactyl!"
"Triceratops!"
"Sabertooth-Tiger!"
"Tyrannosaurus!"
Geonosis
Anakin, Ahsoka, and their troops continue walking through the tunnels. They see the tunnels do look more manmade than the Geonosians making them. They also found more tunnels going to different directions. The Clones send more probes and they were able to make a map of the direction the tunnels are going through.
"It looks like the Separatist have been busy," said Fives as he looks at the holographic map. "They must have made this to secretly get around without being seen."
"It looks that way," said Anakin concern that some of these tunnels could help the Separatist get an advantage over the Republic. "They could even use them to outflank us from behind."
"Should we blow them up?" Ahsoka asked.
"Not yet," said Anakin who didn't want to risk blowing up their escape route. "We'll do it when we get out."
"These tunnels were made so well," said Rex as he feels how smooth the walls are. "No way, the clankers could do this."
Fives nods in agreement. "Unless they made something to help do this."
Suddenly Anakin's com-link begins beeping. He activates it and Obi Wan talks to him. "Anakin, where are you?"
"We're almost to the factory," he can sense something is wrong. "What happened?"
"We've ran into some problems," responds Obi Wan. "Our AT-TE got destroyed when they fell through holes that were made. We believe the Separatist created a tunnel that caused our tanks to fall through and get destroyed."
Anakin soon realized where the other tunnels lead to. "Obi Wan, we found some tunnels that appear to lead to different locations. I'm assuming one of them must be where you guys are at."
"That's not good," Obi Wan then remembers what he was going to tell Anakin. "We ran into the robots that attacked Naboo. We have to assume Vampire is there and you could be walking into a trap."
Hearing Vampira's name filled Anakin with anger. However, he knew he had to stay calm. "Does this mean you want us to pull back?"
"No," replies Obi Wan. "Continue trying to get to the factory, but use caution. If Vampira knows you're coming then you'll have to try tricking her."
"We will," said Anakin as he turns towards Ahsoka. "If we do confront Vampira, I'll fight her and you plant the bombs."
"Master, I want to help," said Ahsoka who didn't want to stand by while her master fights.
"She's too dangerous and if we run into some trouble we need to make sure the factory is taken out," explained Anakin not wanting to risk his Padawan.
Ahsoka knew there was no point arguing about this. "Fine, but if you get in trouble I will get involved."
"Deal," Anakin turns towards Rex. "If I fight Vampira I need you and the others to assist Ahsoka in planting the bombs."
Rex nods his head. "Yes sir."
Meanwhile
The Rangers soon arrive to the planet and appear on top of a cliff. They look around and see they are on Geonosis, but there are no signs of the Republic or Separatist forces.
"All right," began Jake. "Where is this guy?"
"I don't know," said Lux who notices something. "It's supposed to be hot here and yet it feels cool."
Rachel lifts her hand and agrees with Lux. "I guess our suits keep our body from suffering from the conditions of the planet."
"That's good," said Rick when he sees something from a distance. "Look! There he is."
The Rangers at the direction their friend is pointing at and sees the monster marching towards the battle. It's big like Kappa, except it looks more like a drill monster.
"We have to keep him from attacking the Republic forces before it's too late," said Jake as the others agree with him.
The Rangers lift their hands into the air and call for their Zords. "We need Dino Zords power now!"
Five bright lights are shot from Endor and fly towards the planet. The lights land near the Rangers and out from the light comes the Dino Zords as they let out a loud roar. The Rangers jump into their Zords and begin emerging them together. The Triceratops and Saber-Tooth roar as their body's slowly come forwards turning into legs.
The T-Rex Roars as its body comes attached to the legs while its head with an arm attached comes off and goes to the right side of the body to become the right arm. The Mastodon jumps and turns into the left arm. The Pterodactyl screeches as it goes on the front of the body turning it into body armor. As it did that a Red head came out with yellow eyes and a silver mouth with two red horns come forward.
"Dino Megazord power up!" said the five Rangers as their Zord finished merging together.
Drillago sees the Zord and approaches it. "Finally, the Power Rangers are here. I've been waiting for you."
Drillago swings its drilling hands at the Rangers. The Megazord dodges the attack and punches Drillago in the face. It ducks another attack and kicks him in the gut knocking the monster to the ground. Drillago fires an energy blast at the Megazord, but it was unfazed. The Megazord jumps up and punches the monster in the face knocking him down.
Drillago gets up staggering a little. "Is that all you've got? Come on, bring it on!"
The Megazord charges at Drillago again who uses his drill hands to try attacking the Zord. The Rangers grab the hands and stop them from spinning. They move the hands away and give the monster a couple of jabs to the face before delivering an uppercut. Drillago flies into the air before crashing into some mountains.
Drillago slowly gets up again and looks exhausted. "I'm not…done…with you punks…just yet."
"Sheesh he doesn't know when to quit," said Rachel surprised that this monster is still willing to fight them.
"Let's finish this then," suggested Jake.
"Wait," said Barriss who can sense something is out of place. "This fight feels too easy. Something is not right about this."
Rick nods in agreement. "Yeah, usually these monsters are tougher and put up more of a fight."
"If that's true, then does this mean this whole thing is a trap?" Lux asked when suddenly the ground begins to shake.
"What's going on?" said Jake when he notices something coming out of the ground. "What is that?"
Five large worms appear from the ground and attach themselves against the Megazord.
"What's happening?" asked Rachel as the Rangers try to shake off the worms. "The Megazord is not responding."
Rick checks the controls. "Those things are doing something to the Megazord."
Suddenly the Rangers begin getting zapped before they are ejected out of the Megazord. They land on the ground writhing in pain. Getting up slowly they look up to see their Megazord moving on its own. Drillago approaches the Zord while laughing.
"Like our new pets Rangers?" The worms suddenly entered the Megazord. "Now you'll be destroyed by your own weapon.
The Ranger recovers and they see their own Zords turning against them.
"This is not good," said Lux.
"What do we do?" asked Rachel.
"There is nothing you can do," Drillago turns to the Megazord. "Now then, Megazord destroy the Power Rangers."
Uh oh, things don't look good for the Power Rangers huh? Their Zords are under Damien's control and he is using them to destroy them. Will he succeed or will the Rangers get some help? Will the Jedi destroy the droid factory before they lose the third war on Geonosis?
