As of writing this, there have been 23 voters in the poll I posted and more people have voted yes for Gil to summon a servant. If anyone hasn't voted, please do and maybe a few days after this chapter gets released, I'll put up a new poll on the list of servants you can choose from if enough people say yes. I also realized I completely forgot about the lobster party that Kazuma and his party have but it kind of works out that I forgot it since they went on a quest right away. I'll see if I can tie that in at some point in the future. Don't really have any questions to answer on this one so we'll get started right away.

It was fairly early in the morning and I had found myself waiting outside the guild with my back leaning against the doorframe and my arms crossed while wearing my usual leather jacket outfit. The sun had barely started to rise and there was a slight chill in the air. What was I doing outside the guild you ask? Waiting for Luna or someone else to show up so that I could warn them of the approaching fortress. I would've warned the guild and such earlier, but if I showed up at two or so in the morning when people's judgment would be at its worst, in the case of drunken adventurers, things probably wouldn't go too well.
I more or less spent all night doing a small amount of research on this thing called the 'mobile fortress destroyer' and tried to familiarize myself with it. 'Considering the fact it has an incredibly high defence with its magical plates, an armoured golem army that protects it from within, aerial defence mechanisms and a magical barrier that I would have a hard time piercing or destroying on my own… I'm going to need assistance. As much as I want to take it down myself' definitely had my work cut out for me.
Not too long after that train of thought, I could see a very tired looking Luna making her trek towards the guild. She gave me an odd stare and sent me a small wave as she approached with a smile and yawn "What are you doing so early in the morning?"
"There are important matters I must discuss"
She only tilted her head as she unlocked the doors to the guild and made her way inside, it was weird being in here so early in the morning "What's so important that you're here before the sun is up?"
Slowly the guild doors shut behind me as we both were now inside the guild "There's a thing called the 'mobile fortress destroyer' and it's currently on a direct course for Axel".
Her eyes widened momentarily but she seemed a little sceptical, which was completely understandable "Are you serious?" she questioned with a more serious expression.
"As serious as I can be" I responded with an even tone "Send out one of the guilds familiars a few miles outside the front gate to the north-west".
"We always have a few on standby and some patrolling the area" she responded before running over to her kiosk and grabbing a small magic orb which she put on one of the tables in the guild.
I joined her by standing on the opposite side of the table and putting my hands on the table and leaning forward a little bit to look at the crystal. Suddenly we were looking at a bird's eye view of the plains surrounding Axel. A decent amount of time had passed as we were both looking in to the orb and more workers were starting to show up at the guild. They tried to say hello but we were too focused onto the crystal to really acknowledge them.
Suddenly the familiar diverted its course slightly and started to fly towards a black mass in the distance. The sun almost seemed to rise behind the mechanical monstrosity and gave it a very menacing look. It moved without care and its seven red eyes glowed with sheer destruction. Its spider like mandibles clicked and moved along with its spider like legs and almost cone shaped back. By the time the familiar made it overtop the fortress, a laser suddenly shot out and blasted the familiar in to dust, completely cutting off the connection and visuals.
Luna's face was positively horrified as she looked at what just happened "I-I can't believe it" she stared at the now blank crystal.
"Whether you believe it or not. We need to sound the alarm and have any adventurers that are standing by to get down here and prepare"
"Right!" she nodded her head with vigour and immediately went to a small corner of the guild where there was something that looked almost like a broadcasting booth. The people of Axel were about to get a very fun thing to wake up to.
-P.O.V Change (3rd person)-
Within the centre of Axel was a large tower that had old timey speakers jutting out from the side that looked like they belonged on an old record player. A bell suddenly started to ring out through the tower and it easily covered the whole entire city.
Citizens around Axel who were either still in bed or just setting up their market stalls for the day, were shaken out of any kind of funk they were in and starting looking around in a frenzy. A small amount of static came over the speakers before the voice of Luna was heard.
"DESTROYER ALERT! DESTROYER ALERT!" he voice boomed across the whole city "THIS IS NOT A DRILL! I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A DRILL! ALL CITIZENS NEED TO EVACUATE AND ALL ADVENTURERS NEED TO GEAR UP AND REPORT TO THE GUILD!"
A panic began to spread throughout the streets as people started to basically throw themselves out of bed and start packing the essentials before sprinting out the doors. Stall owners began moving their products and collecting their families before doing the same. Any nearby inn had their doors burst open as adventurers, who had serious looks on their faces, make their way towards the guild.
And all the way out by Kazuma's mansion, they were all throwing themselves out of bed. Well, Kazuma was panicking at being woken up so quickly and was confused since he had no idea what the heck was even going on.
He opened the door to his room and was still wearing his sleeping clothes "What the hell is destroyer!?" he looked in to the halls.
Megumin who was in a nearby room opened her door with a worried look "Something really bad" she started "Get dressed and grab your stuff! We have to leave!"
Kazuma didn't know what to think so he just got dressed in his usual gear before going down the halls only to see Aqua seemingly already dressed and carrying multiple bags of stuff. "What are you doing?" Kazuma half shouted.
"Leaving that's what!" she said before heading out the door and loading up a small cart with stuff before looking as if she was going to leave.
"Wait! Hold up!" Kazuma went after her "What is going on!?"
"Did you not hear the broadcast!? We have to leave!"
"She's right" Megumin was now out the doors fully dressed and wielding her staff with some belongings on her back tied in a sheet.
"Will someone tell me what the heck is a destroyer!?"
Darkness, which was now fully armoured, opened the door to the mansion and walked out "It is an ancient weapon that destroys everything in its path. Even the grass is never spared wherever its path crosses"
Kazuma gulped "But why are you guys looking like you're gonna run?"
"Are you kidding!?" Aqua shouted back "We can't beat that thing!"
"So you're just gonna abandoned the only house we've ever owned!? We worked too damn hard to just let this thing destroy everything!"
"While I agree we shouldn't run" Darkness spoke in an oddly serious tone "Stopping this thing will be incredibly difficult"
"Then let's get moving and head to the guild!" Kazuma shouted before running off with Darkness not too far behind.
"Ahhhh!" Aqua grabbed her head before following after them "Fine! But you better not die again!" she shouted.
"Wait for me!" Megumin shouted as she ran after them as well.
-P.O.V Change (Gil P.O.V)-
Well over thirty minutes had passed and adventurers were still filing into the guild. Luna was running around trying to get things organized while the adventurers waited. They were all conversing quite loudly and were in a partial state of panic. A few of the more grizzled veterans were quiet as they had a serious expression and waited somewhat patiently.
I was personally leaning on the wall next to the quest board which was a little ways away from the crowd that was forming with my arms crossed. 'I'm surprised they aren't panicking as much as I thought they would be' I thought while observing the crowd. 'I doubt any one of them is outstanding enough to make a huge difference, but we need all the help we can get'. Once more I glanced around 'If Kazuma and his party don't chicken out. This will make it a lot easier with their help'.
Not even a few seconds after that thought, the previously mentioned party burst through the guild doors. A few people turned to acknowledge but they immediately went back to conversing with one another.
All four of them approached me "I have no idea what's about to happen" Kazuma started "But I hope you have a plan".
"I do have a plan and with you all here, it will make this much easier"
"Why us?" Darkness asked.
"I'll explain once all of this gets started. I don't want to explain twice" with that said, we waited until adventurers stopped showing up.
We didn't have to wait too long until Luna decided to get the ball rolling "Thank you all for coming so early in the morning" she gave a slight bow of her head "and thank you for putting your lives on the line by being here with us today". All of the adventures had serious looks on their faces as they listened in.
Another one of the guilds workers stepped up from behind Luna. She wore a white dress shirt and a black vest, which was similar to most of the guild workers. She had short green hair and a serious look on her face "Our Intel shows that the destroyer is approaching from the northwest and will be here within the next four hours". She glanced at me "You can thank Gilgamesh for warning us in advance and buying us an extra three hours of preparation time. I didn't show any reaction, other than meeting the stares of the adventurers that glanced at me.
"Umm… a question" spoke a short girl dressed as a witch "It's an old creation so can't we just ask the makers how to defeat it?"
"That would be impossible" I spoke from my spot as everyone turned to me "The original creators of the destroyer were killed a long time ago by the destroyer itself" everyone grimaced at that.
"If only Mitsurugi were here…" mumbled out some adventurer.
My eyebrow twitched as the rest of them began to mutter about him and start asking where he was "We don't need him" I said aloud to silence them.
"Either way we should just get out of here" Chris of all people spoke up as she made her way through the crowd.
"We can't just do that" Darkness argued back "It is our duty to protect the people of this city".
Chris then sauntered up to me and tugged on my sleeve "So what's this big plan I overheard you talking about earlier".
"First off" I took her hand off my arm "Let go of me. And second" I tilted my head towards Aqua "You're good with taking down barriers correct?"
"Yea I am"
"One of the destroyers defence systems is a magic barrier that can block almost, if not all, magical attacks. Do you think you can dispel it?"
"Ummm…" she took a moment to think before shrugging "I'm not sure but I'd have to try and see"
"Good enough" I nodded and glanced at Megumin "Then we have you bring the heat and blast the thing to either destroy it or immobilize it".
Megumin perked up and began to think before pouting "I probably could. But I don't think even I can take it down in one hit, even with the new staff you gave me".
I could only sigh before looking to the crowd "Anyone else specialize in explosion magic or has a high area of effect destruction spell?"
All of the adventurers looked around or at the floor as neither of them stood forward. A good few seconds passed before a hand poked through the crowd "Excuse me" a familiar voice spoke as they tried to push their way through. Everyone parted to reveal Wiz in the crowd "I'm sorry I'm late but I'm a certified adventurer and I may be able to help!" With Wiz appearing, all of the adventurers immediately went from sour to happy as they cheered for Wiz who was apparently the 'real deal' according to a few of the adventurers.
"Good" I nodded at her as she approached Kazuma's group and I "As soon as Aqua takes down the fortress' barrier, you and Megumin will immobilize it".
"What about after that?" asked a random adventurer.
"Yea what about us?" another asked.
"The fortress is guarded by lasers that attack anything from the air and the inside is lined with golems and traps. We'll have any able adventurers head in to the fortress and find a weak point within it in order to assure its destruction and take out any golems within".
"And what are you going to do?" Kazuma asked.
"I will oversee Aqua, Wiz and Megumin with you to ensure that they have enough magic power and to take out any forces that try to exit the fortress initially, if they do at all. Whether they are aerial or ground units".
With my final piece said, Luna took charge "Alright everyone! The emergency quest will now begin!" she shouted. "We need blockades and barricades set up, anyone who is able to build needs to report to the north-east entrance immediately!"
A wild roar of cheers was met as the adventurers psyched themselves up and practically sprinted out the doors to prepare. I merely took my time in pursuing by following at a casual pace.

'We are progressing smoothly' I thought from my position at the top of the city's walls 'We should have some time to spare after these barricades are built'.
Currently the more physical members, and a few of the more nonphysical members, were working overtime in order to prepare for the incoming destroyer. They were certainly crude, but with the few extra hours I was able to give them, the barricades were reinforced by a small amount. The entirety of the entrance was covered and it went for well over a few dozen meters in each direction to ensure that the entrance was fully covered along with a small portion of the walls.
It would probably be another hour or so until the fortress would be within our line of site so we had plenty of time. There was really only one person absent throughout this whole ordeal and it was surprisingly Darkness. I glanced across the sea of adventurers but didn't spot her amongst them 'Strange. Where could she be?'
It wasn't until I looked out to the area outside the city limits did I catch a glimpse of the blond crusader just standing there. Her sword was firmly planted on the ground as she looked out to where the Destroyer should appear from.
I found it odd so I hoped down from the large walls and startled a few of the other adventurers before making my way over to her with my hands in my pocket. It took me a few minutes to walk the full distance, but when I arrived, I called out to her.
"I knew you were a glutton for pain" I started as I stopped a few feet behind her "But to stand in the way of the destroyer is suicide. You'd be of more use by helping us set up".
She took a breath before responding "It may seem that way to you" she slightly turned her head "But I am a knight and it is my duty to protect this city. Do you really think I would put my desires over the desire of others?"
I only gave her a blank stare "You are literally doing that right now. You can't lie to me you know".
She coughed into her hand slightly to hide a slight noise of surprise before addressing me again "In truth. The people here are my responsibility, you or they may not know why or even care. But it is my duty to protect them".
I chuckled slightly before smirking "Because you're a noble who has sworn to protect the people of Axel?"
She whipped her head around and stared at my smirking face with a shocked expression "H-how did you know?"
"I didn't" I shrugged "You just confirmed it but I did have my suspicions. For one you were nervous about being seen in Belzerg's capitol and sometimes when you eat, speak or act a certain way. You give off the air of someone who has had to learn to act that way around others".
She could only turn around to hide her embarrassment for a solid minute before she gave a light smile and slightly turned her head back to me again "My real given name… is Lalatina Dustiness Ford".
I tilted my head slightly before responding "The governors of this land?"
"That is correct" she turned to me while keeping one hand on her sword which was still planted on the ground "Please keep this a secret from the others".
"Even from your team?"
"Yes even from them"
"Fine" I sighed after a short moment.
She smiled "Thank you" Darkness then turned around again to stare ahead.
It was silent for another moment until an idea popped in my head and I couldn't help but grin. "It is of no issue" I started as she glanced back at me again "My fair lady Lalatina" I said while doing an overdramatic bow.
Her face turned multiple shades of red and pink before she burst out "NEVER CALL ME BY THAT NAME AGAIN!" she roared, which was not very lady like might I add.
I rose from my bow and let out a roar of laughter as I left her to her own thoughts. I laughed for a while as I walked away as she realized she'd been played and her face clearly showed it.

"Here it comes" I mumbled out.
Kazuma and Megumin, who were beside me at the moment, looked at me in confusion before the ground shook. Everyone else looked around in a slight panic as the ground shook again. Trees in the distance started to shake and tumble over as they were crushed by massive black rods. While the ground continued to shake, everyone else but Darkness, Wiz and I, were shaking at the site. A small mountain sized black mass then appeared over the horizon. Exhaust flames shot out of open spaces in its body. Water was coming out of its sides and was pouring onto the ground as red lasers from under its head scanned the area. Its eyes were shimmering between a soulless gray and a demonic red as it almost seemed to be processing data.
The adventurers below took a step back as it appeared into view "D-damn that this is big!" an adventurer half shouted. Murmurs of doubt started to spread amongst all of the others.
Even the 'fearless' Megumin was positively shaking to my left 'Poor kid can't even say a word' I thought as Kazuma came up to my right.
"Wow" Kazuma spoke at the destroyer as it stopped and was almost staring at us "I think I share the sentiment of the others. This is not going to be a walk in the park".
Aqua was conversing with Wiz on the small tower of the wall next to us. Their conversation was hard to make out, but Wiz seemed relatively calm while Aqua was showing some small signs of panic "Are you guys okay over there!" Aqua shouted.
We didn't really answer, but Megumin was starting to mutter "I-I can d-do t-this! I-I-I'm strong enough!" She continued to mutter as Kazuma tried to calm her down but it wasn't really helping "I-I'll blow it up!"
"Not yet" I said calmly while placing a hand on her shoulder. The fortress started to move again "Aqua! Now would be great!"
"On it!" she replied while summoning a white staff that had a pink flower on the top. She caught the staff mid-air and twirled it a few times before a huge wave of magic burst from her that was a mix of blue and pink. Five golden magic circles appeared in front of her as she thrust her staff forward "SACRED DISPEL!"
A massive wave of magic burst forth from the circles and combined into a beam that crashed into a purple magic circle that appeared in front of the destroyer. The destroyer continued to push onwards but was visibly struggling in its advance. Aqua struggled to keep outputting her magic like this, but with a final shout, the beam doubled in its size and shattered the barrier of the destroyer like it was glass.
"Wiz! Megumin!"
"On it!" Wiz shouted from her spot "Megumin are you ready!?" safe to say she wasn't.
Megumin continued to mumble and shake like a leaf "Fine then" I spoke while garnering a small amount of her attention. I had a gate drop my adventurer card into my hand "If you won't do it. I'll just learn explosions right now and do it for you if you're too weak to do it yourself".
"How dare you!" she shouted "My magic is not weak! No one can outdo me in explosions! I'll show you the biggest explosion you've ever seen!"
Magic circles sprung from beneath both Wiz and Megumin as they began to chant "Darkness blacker than black and darker than dark, I beseech thee, combine with my deep crimson" orange swirls of magic appeared above as the sky started to darken as the destroyer was starting to 'run' at high speeds "The time of awakening cometh. Justice, fallen upon the infallible boundary, appear now as an intangible distortions! I desire for my torrent of power a destructive force: a destructive force without equal! Return all creation to cinders, and come from the abyss! EXPLOSIOOOOOOON!" the two casters' magic burst into the sky in to massive streams of orange magic.
Both attacks swirled and traveled throughout the sky as they approached the fortress and smashed into it causing an absolutely massive explosion that engulfed the entire fortress and anything in its immediate surroundings.
Within a few seconds the destroyer emerged from the sea of flames and crashed into the ground, causing the ground to shake as if there was an earthquake. It slid across the dirt until it came to a stop in front of Darkness who still stood as still as a statue. Her hair blew furiously in the wind as it came to a stop a few inches away from her.
All was silent for a good thirty seconds before all of the adventurers started to cheer. They continued to cheer for a while until the weight of it all came down but the excitement was still there. Aqua was certainly in on this "Now that that's all done! We can all go to the bar!"
Kazuma started to panic "Don't jinx it you idiot!"
I could only sigh "He's right, it's not wise to tempt fate. We should make sure the job is finished before we celebrate".
"What are you two talking about? It's clearly dead" Aqua crossed her arms "What's it gonna do? Blow itself up?"
A mechanical pulsing sound soon filled the area as the destroyers eyes started to blink an ominous red "Critical damage detected" a robotic female voice came from it "All crew evacuate immediately. Self-destruct initiated"
"WHY!?" Kazuma grabbed his head and screamed into the sky along with all of the other adventurers.
"Aw crap!" shouted an adventurer as they turned and started to run.
"I'm getting out of here!" Shouted another.
"It's gonna blow!"
"I don't want to die!"
Kazuma was of the same mindset as he grabbed onto Megumin and started to move his way down the wall. Kazuma looked at me and saw that I wasn't following "Come on man we gotta go!"
I only stared at him with a blank expression "No"
"What do you mean no! Everyone but that idiot Darkness is gone! Your strong but not even you can stop that thing from self-destructing!"
"I'm not a coward" I sneered "I'm not going to run and I'm certainly not going to let that thing kill me" I then glanced down the wall at the retreating adventurers. "YOU FAKERS!" I roared out causing all of them to stop in their tracks and stare at me. "YOU CALL YOURSELVES ADVENTURERS!" I sneered again "Running at the first sight of danger!? Going to let your town be destroyed!? All your belongings, your livelihood and all the things you've worked so hard to protect in the past?! You all fight for glory, recognition and to gain strength to protect what you hold dear AND YOU'RE GOING TO THROW IT ALL AWAY!?"
I jumped from my position on the wall and landed in the middle of the crowd "Long ago I would have made the same decision you are making now" my voice was more calm as I walked forward and they parted way. "I will not force anyone to stay. Just know that you will be coward in the minds of many, myself included" they flinched a little "Mankind has lost enough to the demon king and it may be fate for our lives to end today. But I know that I will not be taken down so easily". I started to walk forward as the adventurers began to murmur.
Even up ahead, Darkness had ran over to the destroyer and hopped in one of the gaps in its armour. As I continued to move forward, I had a few dozen gates open and launch a hail of weapons at the destroyer and all of the weapons I had sent, detonated and blew a hole in the tower on its back. All of the adventurers saw this happen and began to rile themselves up as they all shouted and ran past me towards the destroyer.
'Seems they are not all cowards' I thought to myself as they started to grapple up the destroyer and head inside the hole that I had made. By the time I had made it to the destroyer, Kazuma, Wiz and Aqua caught up to me.
"Man you are starting to get good for speeches" Kazuma said from beside me.
"You think?" I said while grabbing him and Aqua by the shoulder and jumping up onto the fortress "It was hastily thrown together".
Wiz then floated up next to us "I doubt they would've entered the destroyer without your speech"
"Hmm" I hummed while hopping down the hole and I followed by the trio "At least we have more ground being covered in order to find a way to stop it.
The inside of the destroyer was very dark as there was barely anything inside to give much light. The inside was paved with stone and wires were spread throughout as the sounds of fighting and explosions were heard up ahead.
"Looks just like some old dungeon in here" Kazuma said as he ran his hand along the wall "Smells like one too".
"I have a suggestion" Wiz spoke up "If we find the core of the destroyer, we should be able to stop it from exploding".
I nodded "I will find our way to the core. Stick behind me and this will be done quickly" I then closed my eyes momentarily before opening them as they now had a slight glow to them. There were many hallways and paths, just like a dungeon, but my eyes showed me a trail.
Without waiting for a response of any kind I followed that path that was laid before me. A few minutes into our walk and the many hallways, we came across other adventurers who were panting as they defeated golems made of metal. We didn't encounter any golems for a while until we heard a shout as an adventurer flew in front of me and landed on the ground, he seemed to be a brawler as he did not have a weapon and wasn't really wearing any armour.
"Ughhh…" he groaned and looked up at us "Big golem" he said before putting his head back on the ground.
"Well that's descriptive" Kazuma deadpanned.
"It's in the path we need to follow so we will take it out. Aqua, heal this man and join us when you're done".
She was about to complain about me ordering her around, so I just ignored her and kept moving with Wiz and Kazuma. When we moved forward for a short while, we could see a group of adventurers trying to battle a large metal golem. There were no other golems surrounding it and seemed to be well over eight feet tall.
Its legs were relatively small compared to its large torso and fists, it also had a skull like jaw with two glowing red eyes. Two protrusions of metal were on its back as it slammed the last standing adventurer to the side and down a hallway. It then turned its head to us and let out a burst of steam.
"Uhh… that thing looks tough" Kazuma stared at it.
"Not tough enough" I mumbled before it started to charge me head on. I opened up a few gates in response and launched a volley of weapons at its legs. The relatively small legs took a fair amount of damage and stunned the creature.
Wiz then raised her hand "Cursed Lightning!" she shouted as a bolt of lightning struck the golem in the head and caused major damage to it. I then released another wave of weapons and sent the thing tumbling into the wall at the end of the hallway.
"Whoa" Kazuma stared in awe "Must be nice to be that powerful".
"It has its perks" I smirked while continuing to make my way down the hallway and to the left. Aqua joined back up with us shortly after and we found the door to the door to where the core should be. The door was sealed, but with my gate, it was easily blown open.
No one else was near so it was just us four as we strolled into the room. The interior was the size of a throne room and had a stone pillar in the corner of each side. A large throne like seat was at the back of the room with a multitude of thick wires being fed into a large glass like structure that held a floating red orb of something that I had never seen before. An ominous red glow filled the room and illuminated a body that was sitting on the throne like chair. The skeleton of a man wearing what used to be white robes, sat there alone. Some hair was still on the skeleton, long dead gray hair flowed from the side of his head, leaving the top bald and a long goat facial hair that went down to its chest.
"He must have been the pilot" I walked over to the skeleton and observed it.
"Yeah your right" Aqua walked up and looked at him "Looks like he died a long time ago"
"Duh" Kazuma said while looking at him "Probably died all alone" he pouted "Probably sucked".
"Hmph!" Aqua huffed "At least he's not undead" she threw a glance at Wiz who pouted.
I then noticed a book on one of the stone armrests so I grabbed it "Seems that he left a diary". I opened the book and began to read it silently.
A few minutes passed with nothing being said so Kazuma peaked into the book as I closed it and threw it in my gate "What's it say?" Kazuma asked.
"That he was contracted by some 'big shots' in order to build this thing. And that he forgot to install an off switch or any way to deactivate the destroyer. And a few monologues of him not wanting to do it, and that he was trapped inside so he lived the rest of his life in here" I answered while relatively deadpanned.
"Why do you sound so unimpressed?" Aqua asked.
"I'll let you read it another time" I glanced up at the floating core which was something called Coronatite.
"Well what the heck should we do?" Kazuma asked.
"Either way it looks like it's going to explode soon" Wiz said worryingly.
"You're a goddess Aqua. Can't you do something about it?" Kazuma looked to Aqua.
"Hm?"
"Don't 'hm?' me. Can't you seal it or something?"
"No I can't. Where did you even get that idea?" Aqua looked to Wiz "You're an undead so can't you do something?"
"We could teleport it?" She offered up.
"Yeah do that!" Aqua responded.
"I don't have enough magic to do that" Wiz looked down "I still have a decent reserve left to cast other spells. But to transport something that unstable and powerful would take too much magic".
"Then I'll do it" I spoke up "I have plenty of magic to spare".
"But where are you going to send it?" Wiz asked "Do you have a marker set somewhere?"
I scowled "Only within Axel and one that I set in Belzirg's capitol".
"Aw crap!" Kazuma said aloud "What about you Wiz?"
The core of the destroyer started to glow even brighter "I have a few places but we could just do a random teleport".
"Then I'll do that" I said.
"But what if you accidentally transport it to a populated area!?"
"Then I'll just have to take that risk" I looked back to them "I have a high enough luck stat so I should be able to transport it somewhere and not kill anyone.
"Oh yeah that's right!" Kazuma exclaimed "We're both maxed out in luck so you got this!"
"Of course I have this"
"Just know you'll have to take full responsibility on where it ends up" Wiz said seriously.
I waved my hand nonchalantly I looked directly to the Coronatite core "Teleport" I said aloud as a blue light enveloped the core and it disappeared, leaving the room with the same lighting as the rest of the place.
"Huh" Kazuma looked around "Pretty anti-climactic if you ask me".

With the core gone, we all headed out of the fortress in the same way that we came in. All of the adventurers were hooting and hollering along the outside of the destroyer. After emerging from my impromptu entrance, we were met with Darkness who just stared out towards the city.
Something didn't feel right to me and I was pretty sure that Darkness felt the same.
"This isn't over" Darkness started "Danger still lingers in the air"
"Come on your just overreacting" Kazuma waved her off.
"Yeah the core is gone" Aqua continued "What's it gonna do? Blow up again?"
After her words, the destroyer started to shake violently "Dang it Aqua what the hell!" Kazuma shouted.
"I didn't do anything!"
"Yes you did!" Kazuma shouted back before we all hopped off the destroyer.
All the adventures that were still in the destroyer or were partying on the outside were jumping off the sides as well. Slowly but surely, the legs of the destroyer started to glow red hot along with the rest of the fortress.
We got to a few meters away from it before Kazuma looked to me in a panic "I thought you got rid of the core!"
"I did" I responded before narrowing my eyes at the destroyer as the eyes on it started to crack and release a large amount of steam. "Somehow getting rid of the core is heating up the destroyer and causing a build-up of pressure".
"At this rate it will destroy the town!" Wiz said worryingly.
"Then why the hell did we bother with teleporting the core!?" Kazuma seemed ready to lose it.
"Can't we just blow it up!?" Kazuma looked to both me and Wiz.
I shook my head "If Wiz didn't have enough magic to teleport the core, then I doubt she could cast explosion".
"Why not shoot it with a bunch of swords and stuff to get rid of the pressure?"
"Won't work" I shook my head "Releasing all the pressure at once would just accelerate the explosion and I doubt even using Aqua's water spells would help" I finished off as I could feel the heat from the destroyer.
"Well then I'll just give Wiz some of yours or Aqua's magic to blow it up"
"That won't work either" I shut that down "Aqua's magic severely hurts Wiz and while mine wouldn't hurt as much. It could still make her disappear with the divinity. I'll just have to teleport this thing too".
"MOTHER FU-"
"That's really dangerous!" Wiz approached me "You already teleported the core to who knows where".
I just waved her off while approaching the red hot destroyer "Teleporting the core took a lot of magic and this will probably be the same" I said while turning my head to the group after coming to a stop. "But I still have a big enough reserve to teleport this. I'll just be using up almost all of my remaining magic to do it".
"What happens if this one gets teleported to a bad spot!" Darkness spoke up.
"Then I'll deal with the consequences just like I said with the core" I faced the destroyer "Teleport". With a shimmer that was similar but on a much larger scale, the destroyer disappeared.
"Huh… Again it's anticlimactic but… huh" Kazuma watched.
I chuckled while turning "In awe once again?" I said with a smirk, but as soon as I stepped forward "ah shit". I started to stumble slightly but before I could stumble any further, I felt the weight on my left side be lifted slightly.
"I got you" Darkness spoke supporting me.
"Took more out of the than I thought" I chuckled slightly before straightening myself a bit and unhooking Darkness' arm from my neck.
"So uhh… What now?" Kazuma looked around.
"We party" I smirked.

I'm ending it off here so I don't go in to the next 'arc' so to speak and take an even longer time to write this. May not have been the grand chapter that some of you would've expected, but there wasn't much that I could think to add that wouldn't just seem like I was trying to get a higher word count. But in that sense, I'm gonna ask that if someone would like to help beta this story or help me wright it/come up with more scenes and interactions, that would be great. It's kind of hard personally to get more ideas down for this story, so a beta or something of the like would be nice. I do ask that you have some experience in writing so that ideas can be bounced around and stuff can be sent back and forth to add.
