Chapter 21 has arrived and today we see what happens in the third Battle of Geonosis. Last time we saw the Power Rangers fighting a monster called, Drillago. During the fight their Megazord was taken by large worms. Will they free their Zords or is this the end of the Power Rangers?
Will they have the Republic forces be able to defeat the Separatist and Damien's forces? What will happen when Anakin and Ahsoka confront Grievous and Torus? Will that fight end badly for the Jedi? And how will this third battle end?
Read on to find out what happens and I want to thank my friend for his help and everyone for the reviews. I don't own anything of Power Rangers just my OC. Enjoy the chapter and I hope you all like this. Also, happy birthday to my sister and I hope your birthday goes well.
Battle of Geonosis part II
Geonosis
The Power Rangers run towards the canyons where they hope to get some cover from Drillago and their Megazord that has turned on them thanks to the worms. They knew they couldn't do anything to free their Zord until they knew what is going on. Near a large canyon, they find a narrowed path. They run into it and try finding cover so they are not found.
"Where are you little brats? Come on out!" Drillago finds the narrowed path, but couldn't see the Power Rangers. "We will find you and when we do we will destroy you all!"
Jake pokes his head out and sees Drillago still looking for them. He turns towards his friends and motions for them to keep quiet.
Once they knew Drillago was gone they came out from behind the rocks and let out an exhausted sigh. Jake turns towards his friends and he removes his helmet.
"Okay, what just happened?" Jake asked confused like the others. "A few minutes ago we were kicking this guy's ass. Then giant worms appeared and somehow took control of our Megazord. How did that happen?"
The others did the same as they removed their helmets. All of them except Barriss shook their heads unsure on what happened.
"I don't know," said Lux who like the others is confused. "I have never seen anything like that before."
Barriss on the other hand did. "I did, I know what those things are."
"What are they?" Rachel asked while sitting on the ground.
"The Geonosian parasites I told you guys about," replies Barriss as she sees the surprised expression on her teammates' faces. "They can control any living thing they go into. I still don't get how they grew to that size and could control our Zords, but how?"
Rick then remembered something. "Hold on, when those things appeared from the ground didn't anyone notice the metal parts on their bodies?"
Rachel sat up and realized her friend is right. "I saw them for a second, but I thought it was my mind playing tricks on me."
Jake begins putting all this together. "If that's true then is it possible that Damien did something to them that could get them to control our Zords?"
Barriss knew that is a possibility. "From what Zane told us it is possible. But, if that is true then how do we free our Zords?"
"Didn't you say that the cold can hurt them?" Rick asked.
Barriss nods her head. "But, these worms are bigger and we don't have anything that can freeze them."
Jake knew Barriss is right. So he decides to contact Zane for help. "Alpha, you there?"
"I'm here Rangers," Alpha answered. "Are you okay?"
"We're fine, is Zane there?" Jake asked.
"Yes," Zane replied as he speaks to the Rangers. "We see what is going on and we're glad to hear you're okay."
Barriss begins talking next. "Zane, Damien did something to the Geonosian worms. He did something that allowed them to take control of our Zords. Is there any way to free them?"
"Yes," Zane answered. "I had Alpha analyze those things and we found whatever technology Damien fused them with allowed them to control your Zords. However, the worms are not in control of their actions. He is controlling them nearby on the planet.
"Great, where?" Lux asked.
"In a large mountain near where the battle is going on. I send Nathan to go find and destroy the controls to free your Zords," Zane answered.
"Wait, why doesn't dad help us free our Zords?" Rachel asked.
"If he did then Damien would probably unleash more of those worms," said Jake guessing what Damien is planning. "If he did that then he would have control over dad's Dragonzord."
"Whoa," said Rachel glad her dad didn't come with them. "So, what do we do?"
"We have to keep the Megazord and Drillago from going near the battle," said Barriss.
"She's right," Lux agreed. "If Damien has control of our Zords, then he could use them to destroy the Clone army."
"We can't let him do that," said Jake as he uses his communicator again. "Zane, can our power weapons slow the Megazord down?"
"No," said Zane. "However, they can distract it long enough for Nathan to find the controls. But be careful Rangers."
"We will," Jake turns towards the others. "You guys ready?" The Rangers put their helmets back on and summon their power weapons. "All right, let's go out there and stop our Zord."
"And not get killed," said Rick as the Rangers head out to stop their Megazord.
Meanwhile
Anakin and Ahsoka made it to the end of the tunnels where they see a large door. If Vampira is on the planet then they must assume she knows about the tunnels. If that is true then going to the front door is not a wise idea. They'll have to wait a way inside without alerting the enemy.
"Any idea?" Anakin asked.
Ahsoka notices a vent nearby. It's small, but she is confident she can fit in. "Master, up there."
Anakin sees where Ahsoka is pointing at. He uses the Force and opens it carefully. Ahsoka jumps up and manages to go inside.
After a minute the door begins to open with Ahsoka on the other side standing next to several destroyed droids. "All clear."
"Good work snips," said Anakin calling Ahsoka by her nickname.
"Thanks Skyguy," said Ahsoka calling Anakin by his nickname. "So, do we have enough bombs to take this place down?"
Rex shows her the bombs. "We've got enough to level the place, but we've set up a timer so we'll be able to get out of here."
"Good call," said Ahsoka as they make their way down the hall until they reach another large door. "Should I find another vent?"
Anakin looks over nearby at a door and opens it. "I don't think we need to."
They go in and climb up the steps where it leads them to an observatory room. Looking over they see a large window that is looking out at the factory. Taking cover they find an intercom nearby and press it. They can hear the noises coming from the next room, including two familiar voices.
"Did Dr. Vindi's new experiments take control of the weapon of the Power Rangers?" Count Dooku asked
The Jedi and Clones look over to see the Sith Lord in hologram form speaking to General Grievous.
"Yes," General Grievous replied. "The test was a success and now we have control over their Zord."
"Not you," Anakin recognized the voice. Looking over he sees Vampira wearing a cloak appears. "Torus has control over it and it would be in your best interest to remember that tin man."
Grievous growls towards the woman, until Dooku steps in before a fight broke out. "Of course Vampira, just remember that Torus will use the Zord to destroy the Clone army and blame it on the Power Rangers."
Vampira nods her head. "That is the plan. Also, tell Poggle to head back to base before the Jedi get here."
"Of course," Dooku turns towards Poggle as he approaches the Sith Lord. "Head back to the base and wait there until further notice."
"And when the Jedi get here I will destroy them right?" Grievous asked.
Vampira nods her head. "Just don't kill Skywalker. I want to make pay him back for what he did to me on Naboo."
"Very well," said Dooku before he disappears.
Vampira turns towards Poggle. "There is a transport that will take you back to the base. Don't keep them waiting."
Poggle nods in response as he heads out of the room, while General Grievous approaches Vampira. "Your plan better work woman or else."
Vampira's eyes turn red and spoke in a dark tone. "Do not threaten me cyborg. I can easily kill you by ripping out your heart and devour it before your eyes."
Grievous growls at the woman and glares. "I would like to see you try."
Vampira's eyes turn back to normal. "I don't have time for this. Just do your job you worthless piece of garbage."
She vanished from the room before Grievous could say anything else. He lets out a loud growl before summoning the battle droids.
Anakin removes his hand from the intercom and turns towards the others. "It looks like there is more going on than we thought."
"Yeah, like how Dr. Vindi broke out of jail?" Ahsoka asked shocked that the insane scientist broke out.
"And who are the Power Rangers?" Rex asked.
"I don't know," said Anakin as he looks over the room where Poggle disappeared to. "Ahsoka, go with Rex and try to capture Poggle."
"Are you sure you don't need us here?" Ahsoka asked who wanted to stay to help her master.
"Don't worry we'll be fine," said Anakin. "Now hurry before Poggle escapes."
Orbit
Mace Windu, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Luminara Unduli are onboard their ships more of the Separatist blockade. They received word from Master Yoda that something went wrong and they require assistance.
"If the enemy knows we are here then chances are they'll be sending backup," said Master Windu as he speaks to Master Yoda who is in hologram form.
"Master Mundi, have you broken through?" Master Luminara asked.
Mundi nods. "I'll be able to break through in about ten minutes. I will be down there to help people."
"There is more I fear of this plot by the Separatist," said Master Yoda. "Gained a new ally I fear Count Dooku has. A mysterious ally who we do not know and possesses a great power I fear this ally does."
"If that is true then what can we do?" Master Windu asked. "Our numbers are few and if this ally possesses a great power like you say then I fear this could end the Jedi Order."
"We can't believe that," said Master Luminara who despite her encounter with Vampira, still believes in the Order. "If we lose our faith then we will fail."
"Agree I do with Master Luminara," said Master Yoda. "Lose faith we cannot for sense a great power I do that will come to assist us in our dark hour."
Master Luminara turns towards the elder Jedi confused by what he meant. "Who?"
Separatist base
Torus watches through the hologram as the Power Rangers continue trying to fight against the Megazord. It amuses him how despite losing control of their weapon, the Power Rangers are still trying to fight back.
He knew it was pointless. Thanks to the parasites they found and mutated they have full control of the Megazord.
It was a good thing Torus broke Dr. Vindi out of prison so he can work on these things. All they had to do was mutate them, attach them with the tech Damien made that would allow them to control the Megazord, and the controls that will allow Torus to control the worms.
It worked and he set it to autopilot so the Zord can try destroying the Rangers while he watches.
"Poor little Rangers," said Torus in a mocking tone. "Not so tough without your Megazord helping you huh?"
"Will you stop playing around?" Torus turns around and sees Dr. Vindi approaching him with Poggle. "I thought the plan was to use the Zord to attack the Clone army. Not for your amusement."
Torus turns off the hologram and faces the good doctor. "Be careful how you speak to me Vindi. You may be on our side, but if you continue to disrespect me I will destroy you."
Dr. Vindi knew he could do that. He has seen what happens to the Geonosian bugs that fail Torus. He knew it was worse than what Vampira does and doesn't want to risk upsetting him.
"Very well," he turns towards Poggle. "The Jedi's forces have broken through the blockade and Poggle feels he should leave the planet before they arrive."
"Why?" Torus asked. "They will be wiped out by the Zord once we take care of the Power Rangers."
Poggle speaks in his native language, but Vindi understood what he said and translates. "He doesn't want to risk it, especially if the Power Rangers somehow gained control of their Zord back."
Torus knew that is true. The Green Ranger hasn't shown up and is probably trying to find a way to help the Rangers.
If the Megazord breaks free of his control then his master will be furious at him. As Torus goes to grab the control, he notices a strange smell coming nearby.
He looks over behind some crates and narrows his eye. "Tell me Poggle, did the Jedi arrive to the factory?"
Poggle responds and Vindi translates. "He says not yet, why?"
Torus motions for the two to move out of the way. He then fires off a dark energy blast at the crates.
From behind the crates Ahsoka, Rex, and two Clones jump out of the way as the blast destroys the crates and three Clones that couldn't escape. Before they could draw out their weapons the robots appeared from behind and restrained them.
Torus lets out a small chuckle as he approaches the Jedi and Clones. "Well, well what do we have here? Skywalker's little pet and soldiers. I'm impressed you found my base, but I'm disappointed that you got caught so easily."
Ahsoka struggles to break free of the robot's grip, but nothing worked. Torus kneels down and takes her lightsabers.
"So these are the Jedi's main weapon," Torus activates one of the lightsabers and moves his finger close to the blade feeling the heat from it. "An excellent weapon and I can see why you use them."
"Let me go and I'll show you how they are used," said Ahsoka.
Torus laughs as he turns off the lightsaber. "Trust me kid even if you weren't restrain I would end up killing you. Just like those Clones."
Ahsoka then realizes who this monster is. "You're the one that attacked the ships back at Naboo."
Torus nods his head. "And they're supposed to be cloned from a great Mandalorian warrior. They were as weak as a Gungan or even these Geonosians, no offense Poggle."
Poggle responds while Vindi translates. "He says 'none taken' and I know who this child is."
Ahsoka turns towards Vindi and narrows her eyes. "Dr. Vindi, how did you get out of jail?"
"Simple, I died," said Dr. Vindi as he approaches the girl. "Torus gave me a special formula that made my body appear dead. When the Clones tossed my body out, I was brought here to serve my new master."
"And who is that?" asked Ahsoka hoping to figure out who Torus and Vampira are working for.
Torus interrupts the chat between the two. "That's none of your business child. Although I am glad you're here. You're close to Skywalker, aren't you?"
Ahsoka didn't respond since she had a bad feeling what would happen if she responds. Torus though didn't need her to say anything to give him his answer.
He turns towards Dr. Vindi. "Do you still have more of those creatures?"
Dr. Vindi nods his head and turns towards one of the robots. "Bring me one of the specimens."
The robot leaves the room and returns a minute later carrying a jar. Inside Ahsoka sees what's inside and it send a chill up her spine. It was a Geonosian worm. She struggled to break free, but the robots kept her from moving.
The robot hands Torus the jar as he pulls out the worm holding it in his hand. "It took us a while to find these, but once we did they became a useful tool for our plan. Hold her."
The robot moves behind Ahsoka and holds her head. Rex and the other Clones were moved out of the way to watch their commander be controlled by those creatures.
Torus approaches Ahsoka and kneels down in front of her. "Once you are under our control you will go find your master and kill him."
"No," said Ahsoka as she tries to break free. "I won't do it."
"Stupid girl, you won't have a choice," Torus moves the worm towards Ahsoka as it prepares to go up her nose.
As the worm came an inch from Ahsoka's nose it gets blasted out of Torus's hand. Torus looks up and sees the Green Ranger appear from the ceiling and slashes the three robots restraining Ahsoka. She uses the Force and sends Torus flying towards the control panels. She then uses the Force to grab her weapons and frees the Clones.
"Are you all right kid?" The Green Ranger asked.
Ahsoka nods her head. "Thanks, who are you?"
"A friend," said the Green Ranger not wanting to reveal his identity to Ahsoka.
Torus gets up and lets out a loud growl. "The Green Ranger, so we finally meet."
"You must be Torus. I was right, you are as ugly as you smell." Torus snarls while the Green Ranger speaks to Ahsoka. "Kid, I need you to find Vindi's lab and destroy his experiments."
"Why?" Ahsoka asked.
"Just do it," said the Green Ranger as he pulls out his Dragon Dagger. "I'll hold Torus off, while you handle Vindi's experiments."
Ahsoka was about to say no, but he did save her from being controlled. She owes him. "All right, but be careful and don't get killed when I get back."
Ahsoka looks over and sees Vindi running out of the room. "Let's get him boys."
Rex and the other Clones follow Ahsoka out of the room leaving Torus alone with the Green Ranger. He didn't bother sending any robots after them, but he did turn his attention to Poggle who is hiding nearby.
"It's time for you to leave," Torus opens a portal near Poggle. "Now go."
Poggle agrees and goes through the portal. Nathan didn't bother going after Poggle since Torus would stop him. The two stare at each other and didn't make a move. The room became silent with only small crackling sounds being made near where Torus crashed.
"I take it that control near your feet is what you have been using to control the Megazord?"
Torus looks down and sees the control near him. He picks it up without taking his eyes off the Green Ranger.
"You want this don't you?" Nathan moves his weapon up and gets into fighting position. "Then come and get it."
Part two is done and I hope everyone likes what happens next time. Where we will see two main fights that I hope everyone will like. What are these fights? Well, you'll have to wait for the next chapter to find out.
