Chapter 25 is here and here we go with another four-part special arc. I hope you all are ready for this chapter. It took us a while to work on this because I have been busy with school. So I couldn't work on the chapter, but my friend and I worked out on the ideas for this.

Battle for Ryloth part I
Ryloth (1 month later)
In the cover of night, near the mountains of the planet, a blue skin Twi'lek in his 30's is seen running as he tries to escape. He looks back and sees several robots chasing him. He takes out his blaster and opens fire destroying one of the robots, but the others dodge the attacks and returned fire. He gets grazed on his left arm, but continues running.
He turns a corner and uses his blaster to open fire to the rocks above him. They begin to slide down as he takes cover. The robots see this and move out of the way, but are blocked from their pursued. So they begin climbing over the rocks and make it over just as the Twi'lek came out of hiding and continued running.
They followed him and continued opening fire. The Twi'lek dodges the attacks and stops when he makes it near the ledge. He looks down and sees it's a large deep canyon, with no way down.
He sees the robots surrounding him all aiming their weapons at him. He puts his weapon down knowing there is no point in fighting back, since he would end up dead anyways.
He suddenly hears a large thud sound coming nearby. The robots put their weapons away as an 8ft, large stone golem monster appears. The golem is wearing black metal armor, a stone sword attached to its back, and glowing red eyes through the helmet. The golem approaches the Twi'lek and crushes the blaster under its feet.
"Mistress Vampira knows you work for the rebellion that still fights her," said the golem in a deep dark voice. "Surrender the location of the rebels and your life will be spared. Yours and your niece, who we have in our control."
The Twi'lek shook his head. "You had her, but I freed her and she is now safe with the rebels. Do with me what you want, but you will never get me to betray my people."
The golem grabs the Twi'lek by the neck and lifts him into the air. "Tell me where, or when I find the child I will make sure she dies."
"Never," said the Twi'lek refusing to surrender.
The golem knowing he won't get anything out of the Twi'lek, throws him off the cliff. It then turns towards the robots.
"Back to the castle."
As they leave, a small green skin Twi'lek appears from behind some rocks where she was hidden. She walks over near the ledge and looks down to see where her uncle fell. She sees his body on the ground and begins to cry. She looks up at the full moon and begins to pray for someone to save them.
Coruscant
At the Jedi temple, the Council is going over a meeting about the situation on the planet of Twi'lek. They received messages that Separatist forces have been seen on the planet and have taken the planet back.
However, they received no message from their Republic base on the planet about any Separatist forces. Orn Free Taa, the Senator for Ryloth reassured the Republic that his planet is okay and nothing is going on. Despite receiving messages from citizens from the planet, including Cham Syndulla, the rebel who helped liberate the planet sending them messages. Even with all these information, the Republic doesn't have enough to go to the planet.
The Chancellor, however has decided to send a group of Clones and two Jedi to the planet to investigate. He does trust the Senator, but with the people demanding answers he has no choice but to go behind his back without him knowing.
So, the Council is now going over who they should send to the planet and where to start.
"I will go," Master Windu volunteered. "I know the planet and the inhabitants know me. I will go and find out what is going on."
"I think Aayla Secura should go as well," Master Plo Koon suggested. "If Ryloth is under attack and we are met with hostility from its people because of we did not come sooner. Then it would be best if one of their own was there to help us."
Master Shaak Ti nods in agreement. "We should send one more to help. Perhaps, Skywalker?"
Master Yoda shook his head. "On a mission he is with Master Kenobi. His Padawan, free she is."
"Hmm, I'm not sure about sending her on this mission," Master Mundi replied.
"I think this could be good for her," said Master Shaak Ti defending Ahsoka. "She has proven herself for a while now and I think this might be a good to see if she is ready for the trials."
"I agree," Master Plo replied. "She has become a strong Jedi, wise, and will make a fine Knight. However, I don't think Skywalker is ready for her to take them or to let her go."
"I have sensed it too," said Master Luminara who shares her concerns. "He has become attached to her. I sensed it during the Second Battle of Geonosis, and it has gotten stronger since then."
Master Yoda agrees with the other Jedi about this. "Learn he will to let her go soon. Stay a Padawan she cannot forever. Go on this mission, she will. Show her master, ready she is."
Master Windu nods his head. "I will let Aayla Secura and Padawan Tano of our decision. If we do encounter hostility, we will need reinforcements soon."
Meanwhile
Ahsoka is outside by the temple gardens with Jake watching the Younglings practice as they train. She began telling her friend how when she was little they were taught by Master Yoda many times.
He would take them by the trees and have them meditate. He would bestow upon them his wisdom and the ways of being a Jedi. She was taught how Jedi are peacekeepers, that they protect the innocent, and maintain order in the galaxy. Funny how years later things have changed and now people see Jedi as soldiers for the Republic, not peacekeepers.
"So, I guess you guys are still not loved by everyone in the Republic," said Jake as they to stop near the tree Ahsoka spoke about.
"It's not like everyone liked us anyways," she replied. "Although, the way things are going by the time the war is over, no one will trust us."
Jake moves near his friend, places his hand on her shoulder, and smiles as he tries cheering her up. "If it makes you feel better, I trust you and so does our friends."
Ahsoka smiles and nods. "Thanks, I wish everyone is the same. Like your home, which I heard hates us."
"We don't hate you guys," he replied. "It's just, our people don't approve of the Jedi way. The whole not falling in love, no feelings, and taking children at a young age is something our people don't like."
"I understand, but they do know the parents give them permission to take the children," now that she said it out loud she can see how that does sound bad.
"Well, our people don't feel the same," he replied. "I mean, I wouldn't want that if I ever have a kid. I know the dangers of keeping a child with Force abilities, but being ripped away from your child. I can't imagine any parent or child going through that. To be taken away from the ones you love, that's heartbreaking."
She can sense the sadness her friend feels. It does sound horrible now that she hears more about this. She never knew how horrible it must really feel for any parent to give up their own child to complete strangers. She knows the Jedi do it to help train the future, but if that future is being send off into war then something is clearly out of place.
"Sorry," he apologized snapping her out of her thoughts. "I shouldn't have said that. I didn't mean to judge you or the Order."
"No, don't worry," she replied. "You were just expressing your opinion and you have every right to do that. I guess the Jedi Order needs some work when this war is over."
"Do you think they might even change some rules?" he asked hoping things do change.
She smiles at him and nods. "One day."
She then begins receiving a message on her com-link. "Hello?"
"Padawan Tano, come to the Council Chamber, we need to talk," said Master Windu.
"I'm on my way," she then turns towards Jake. "I guess we'll see each other later?"
He nods. "Unless they send you on a mission. If they do then we'll see you later?"
She nods and kisses him on the cheek surprising him. "Maybe."
Once she leaves he moves his and forward his cheek with a big grin on his face. "Damn."
Senate building
Lux heads towards his office after a long day at yet another long senate meeting. They were going over money problems and over searching for new materials to make weapons for the army of the Republic. He knew a lot of senators wanted to force Almora to assist them in the war. However, the rest of the senators knew it would be pointless since Alexis's decision is supported by her father, the ruler of the planet.
"I'm starting to think remaining neutral wasn't such a bad thing," he walks into his office where he sees Rachel on the computer, while Rick is sleeping on the sofa. "Guys? What are you doing here?"
"Oh hey, Lux," greeted Rachel. "We got bored so we came to see you. That was until Rick got bored and fell asleep."
Rick begins snoring and mumbles. "You are so hot Barriss, I love you."
Rachel begins giggling. "You think we should tell him we know he likes Barriss?"
Lux shook his head. "I think we should wait for him to tell her. I get the feeling she's starting to like him a lot too."
"I have noticed that," said Rachel as she moves behind the desk. "By the way, I hope you don't mind me using your computer. I was sending my parents a message."
"It's okay, I don't mind as long as you didn't let Rick use it like last time," Lux sighed as he recalls what his friend did.
"Technology hates him, it happens," Rachel sees a picture nearby and looks at it. "Is this you with the rebels on Onderon?"
Lux see the picture his friend is holding and nods. "We took this the day before the final battle. Stella thought it was a good idea to do this for fun, before we went into battle."
Rachel noticed her friend's sad expression as she tries cheering him up. "She seemed nice. Ahsoka told me you liked her."
Lux nods. "She liked me, but I didn't like her that way. Although I do miss her."
Rachel begins giggling. "Ahsoka told me she kissed you before the last fight."
Lux's cheeks brightened a little as he replies nervously. "Y-yeah, it was nice. I just wish though that day ended in a different way."
"I think a lot of people wish that too," said Rachel as she moves towards Lux and kisses him on the cheek. "At least you're here and that's what matters."
"Thanks," he then hears Rick mumbling something else. "Should we leave him here?"
Rachel nods. "I say we do, while we go out for lunch."
"Sounds like a plan," Lux takes out his communicator. "I'll contact Barriss to come pick him up later."
Jedi Temple
After the meeting ended Master Luminara, Windu, and Plo are walking down the temple halls going over the information they gathered about Torus and Vampira. They knew whoever they are working for is helping
"We have done an extended search to find out anything about the new allies of the Separatist," Luminara began as she shows different holographic images of different alien creatures. "We have found no species that matches either one of them. We also put in the information we gathered on the monster sightings as well, nothing about them also."
"Did you try checking the archives to see if they belonged to any species that existed before?" Master Windu asked.
Master Plo responds to that question. "We went further back to the time the Republic was founded. Nothing, whatever they are they remain a mystery."
"We did find some information about this Green Ranger and about these large machines we heard about," Master Luminara shows images of sightings of large machines fighting monsters on different planets and a group called the Power Rangers.
"34 years ago they appeared on the planet of Almora where they have been assisting in protecting the planet. 16 years went by as they began appearing on different planets helping save lives," Master Plo shows different images of the Power Rangers appearing on the news and on their heroism.
"I haven't heard of them before," Master Windu replied as he finishes looking over the information. "Whatever happened to them?"
"They disappeared 18 years ago," Master Luminara replied. "It is strange though that they suddenly return after all these years."
Master Windu sighed. "What I want to know is why the Council never confronted the Power Rangers and why we don't have any more information about them?"
"Perhaps we should speak to Master Yoda," Master Plo suggested. "He has been around the longest and he might know more about the Power Rangers."
"Yes, do that and let me know what you find out when I get back," Master Windu replied. "Who knows, maybe whoever Vampira and Torus are working for might be behind what is happening on Ryloth."
Master Luminara nods. "Possibly, if they are then there is a chance the Power Rangers might get involved."
"Maybe then we will get our answers," said Master Plo.
Meanwhile
Ahsoka is in her room getting her things for her mission to Ryloth. She was surprised to hear the Council is sending her with Master Windu and Secura. She has worked with Aayla Secura before, but with Master Windu as different. They worked together, but only when her master was around.
Now, without him it felt strange, but at the same time good. She knows what the mission is and assumes whatever is going on, on Ryloth is nothing. Still, it will be nice for her to work with the two Jedi, and she is hoping nothing is wrong. Not after the last time she was there.
"Ahsoka?" she turns around and sees her friend, Barriss standing by the door. "I heard your leaving on a mission. I wanted to wish you luck."
"Thanks, I appreciate it," Ahsoka replied as she finishes getting her things. "Could you tell Jake I have to go and will be back in a day or two?"
Barriss nods and pulls out an amulet. "Jake gave me this and asked me to give this to you."
Ahsoka takes it. "It's beautiful, but I shouldn't wear this. I mean I could lose it."
"I told him that, but he told me it's to give you good luck," Barriss replied.
Ahsoka puts the amulet around her neck and hides it. "Tell him thanks and when I come back tell him we can go out for lunch."
"I will and good luck," said Barriss as she leaves the room. As soon as the door closed behind her she lets out a sigh. "I hope that amulet works."
She begins receiving a message and sees it's Lux. "Barriss, listen we left Zach in my office to sleep. Do you mind checking in on him?"
"Sure," Barriss replied. "I'll be there in a bit, oh and I have Ahsoka the amulet. I still don't like this."
"We don't like it either," Lux replied. "But, Zane said it's so we know what is going on and if she'll need help. Hopefully whatever is going on is nothing bad."
"Here's hoping," Barriss turns off her communicator and heads towards the Senate Building. Good luck Ahsoka, and be careful.
Endor
Zane is walking around the viewing globe watching a planet, with a concerned look on his face. The planet he is watching, is Ryloth.
A week ago he began sensing a disturbance going on in one part of the galaxy. More than other planets, because he can sense a growing darkness. He turns towards the planet of Ryloth, where he can sense the darkness going on. He sees that most of the planet is covered in darkness, he can sense the cries of the innocent, and death.
He send Nathan to the planet a few days ago, but he hasn't heard a word from him in a long while. He's worried something has happened to him, but until he hears something he can't send the Power Rangers and risk them getting hurt.
Alpha walks into the room and sees the concerned look on his friend's face. "I'm Nathan is fine. He always finds a way to survive whatever he encounters."
Nathan knew that was true. "This is different. I sense something is up, but without any proof I can't do anything."
It frustrated him. He knows he has to be patient, but if innocent people are getting hurt there is nothing he can do. He has to trust in Nathan and that he'll be okay. That's all they could do.
"Zane, you there?" they begin hearing Nathan's voice coming nearby. "Hello? Anyone there?"
"We're here," Zane replied relief. "I'm so glad to hear from you. Where have you been?"
"Sorry, ran into some trouble," Nathan replied keeping his voice down. "We got trouble, in a big way here. You need to send the others."
"Why? What did you find?" Zane asked.
"Vampira is here and she has done something to the people," Nathan replied. "I managed to find the rebels, but I had to get away from them to keep them safe. Vampira has a new monster with her and I can't risk summoning the Dragonzord without backup."
"Okay, we'll send you help soon," Zane replied. "Just stay hidden until then."
"I'll try," Nathan replied panting a little. "But, if that evil bitch sends more of her monsters to hurt people I'm going to have to kick some ass."
"I know," said Zane as he turns towards Alpha. "Get the others ready, once we know what is going on then we will go help the people of Ryloth."
Coruscant
Master Secura arrived to where the Republic Ships are docked. She heads towards the docking area where the ship they are taking is at. They knew if something is going on, on Ryloth then they will need to go on a ship that isn't from the Republic. They won't bring any Clones since if they bring too many people on this mission it will attract unwanted attention.
She sees Master Windu nearby speaking to some Clones before dismissing them. "Hello Aayla, are you ready for the mission?"
Aayla nods. "I still don't feel right about going in without any backup."
"Don't worry, if we don't report in by the end of the day then Master Plo will head over with a fleet of ships," Master Windu replied as they head towards where their ship is at. "If the Separatist have taken back the planet we'll need to go find Cham Syndulla."
"He was the leader of the rebellion against the Separatist, correct?" Luminara asked getting a nod from Windu. "Do you think he will cooperate with us?"
"He'll have to," Master Windu replied. "If the planet is under attack, he'll need our help."
They turn the corner and see where the ship is at. Although they look on surprised at what they found. It was the Twilight ship that Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan found years ago. It has been used on a lot of important missions, but now it looked to be in worst condition than it was before.
"Is that our ship?" Aayla asked hoping it wasn't.
Ahsoka appeared wearing goggles, holding a wrench, and her skin is covered in dark smudges. "You got here a little early. I thought we were leaving for another two hours."
"We decided to leave earlier," Master Windu replied as he looks around the ship. "Is this safe to fly?"
"Oh sure it can," a few pieces from the ship fell out making the older Jedi concerned. "I just need to fix her up for about half an hour. Maybe an hour to be safe."
"Very well, we'll wait then," Aayla replied as Ahsoka along with her Astro-droid begin working on fixing up the ship. "Are you sure we couldn't take another ship?"
"Most of the other ships are either damaged or being used," Master Windu replied. "This will do, for now."
Aayla turns towards Ahsoka and sees her using the Force to help lift the ship a little, allowing her Astro-droid to fix where it needs working on. She begins smiling as she remembers meeting the young Padawan years ago and how much she has changed since then.
"She has become stronger with the Force since the last time I saw her. She will make a great Jedi Knight one day."
"Perhaps that day is coming soon," Master Windu replied as he turns towards Aayla. "For you as well."
Aayla nods knowing the Council is planning for her to become a Master, especially after all she has gone through
"Do you think Skywalker will approve of his Padawan becoming a Knight?"
Master Windu was unsure himself. "Perhaps after this mission he'll make his decision."
Ryloth
On a large mountain there is a fortress that once belonged to the Ryloth council. That was until the Separatist took over the fortress and now Wat Tambor is once again in control of the fortress. He had it under his control during the invasion of the planet, but lost it after being captured by the Republic. Now the planet is back under his control and the defenses surrounding the fortress has been upgraded.
The canyon is surrounded by a large wall and force field that will protect the fortress from any attacks. Large anti-air ship cannons have been placed that will shoot down any ships that come near the area.
The plasma bridge remains, but is guarded by dark armored robots. And at the top of the mountain lies a machine that is generating the darkness that keeps the sun from illuminating the planet.
Out at the balcony Wat Tambor is watching as on the other side of the canyon the male Twi'leks are forced to work. He looks on amused, but is also frightened with the one in charge of the planet.
"Something on your mind, Tambor?" he turns around to see Vampira appeared from the darkness wearing a long dark dress that showed off her amazing cleavage.
"N-nothing, I was just um watching your progress," he replied nervously as he backs away from Vampira who walks towards the ledge of the balcony.
"Ah yes, I see the men are working hard," she replied giggling. "They are so easily to manipulate, especially when they know if they try anything their women and children will die."
"I still don't understand why we haven't gone after the rebels," said Wat Tambor trying not to say anything to anger the woman. "I mean, it's only a matter of time before the Republic find out what is going on."
Vampira begins to laugh. "I think if they try they will be surprise with what happens. If they try fighting against my slaves then it will end badly for the Republic."
"I still don't understand how you got the Senator of the planet to do as you say," said Wat Tambor still impressed by the woman's work on controlling the planet.
"I have my ways," she then sees a large stone monster appear as he kneels down in front of her. "Golem, did you find the rebels?"
The monster, Golem shook his head. "I found a rebel yesterday, but he died. I will go out there again tomorrow to find them."
"No, don't bother," she replied knowing it's pointless. "If the Republic try coming here then we will let them. They will draw the rebels out and then we will finish them all off in one blow."
"Yes, mistress," Golem replied before leaving the room as several Twi'lek women appeared all with dazed looks in their eyes.
"Mistress," one of them began. "We are ready."
"Good," Vampira turns towards Tambor. "Take a ship and leave. If the Republic do come here I don't want them trying to capture you again."
"Y-yes of course," Tambor leaves the room in a hurry knowing not to disobey her.
Vampira walks up to one of the women and caressed her face. "Come on ladies, let's have some fun before our guests arrive."
Yeah, Vampira is that kind of woman. Think the Jedi will be able to handle anything she throws at them? Think the Twilight ship will survive its journey? And what will happen if the Power Rangers get involved?
