Here we are with chapter 26 and sorry for taking so long to upload this chapter. I had to deal with classes and it took me a long time to upload this along with my other chapters. Also I wanted to point out this arc is a four-part, not three. Forgot how much we were putting into these arcs that we realized it wasn't going to be three-parts.
I also had to go back to fix that in the first part. Anyways, last time we didn't get to see a lot of action, unless you count Vampira with her girls. If you do then you were thinking the same thing I'm sure a lot of people thought of too. This chapter, well we'll see if it has any action and hopefully you guys will like it.

Battle for Ryloth part II
Ryloth
The Twilight continued flying through hyperspace as the three Jedi, begin going over their plan. Master Windu decided they will look for Cham Syndulla, the leader of the rebels. If the Separatist have taken over the planet, they will need to look or the rebels.
"We'll look here," Master Windu pointed towards a holographic of a mountain. "I figured if this is a good spot to find them. The mountains will make it difficult for the Separatist to move around."
"Don't you think the Separatist will know that?" Master Secura replied.
Ahsoka nods in agreement. "But if not there, then where?"
"We'll figure that out when we get there," Master Windu replied as he turns off the hologram. "We'll also need to be on our guard, especially if we run into any trouble."
"Master, if the Separatist have the planet under control then how will we get passed the blockade?" Ahsoka asked hoping the Jedi Master has a plan.
"I have a plan," Master Windu replied. "But we'll only use it if we run into a blockade. Hopefully there isn't."
"Sounds good," the ship begins letting them know they are about to arrive. "We better strap in then."
Ahsoka sits down in her seat as they come out of hyperspace. The Jedi look at the planet of Ryloth, to see five Republic ships in orbit.
"Those aren't Separatist ships," Ahsoka pointed out. "I guess that means everything is okay, right?"
Master Windu wasn't convinced though. He could sense something is wrong, but couldn't figure out what it is.
"We're receiving a transmission," said Master Secura pointing the incoming call. "Should we let them know who we are?"
"No," Master Windu replied. "Don't say anything and let me do the talking."
The two female Jedi nod their heads as Windu puts the transmission through. A Clone Trooper appeared in hologram form and speaks in a calm monotone.
"Unidentified ship, you are enter Republic space. Turn around or you will be fired on."
This surprised the three Jedi. They know Republic ships warn any ship to find out who they are and what they want. If they refuse to respond they would use a tractor beam to bring it inside one of the ships. They were not allowed to shoot down any ship, so hearing this Clone threatening them it raised suspicions.
"We are low on fuel and food," Master Windu replied trying to see if they can trick the Clone. "Please, let us through or at least give us some supplies."
The Clone Trooper however replied in the same matter. "Turn around or you will be fired on."
Master Windu turned towards Ahsoka nods. "Turn us around."
Ahsoka did as the Jedi Master told her and they fly away from the planet. They fly towards the moon and land on the surface to go over what just happened.
"I'm beginning to suspect the Separatist are behind this," said Master Windu.
"But how?" Ahsoka asked.
"I remember hearing that a group of Commando Droids took control of the Rishi Moon outpost," Master Secura began recalling hearing the story from Skywalker and his troops. "The Commando Droid's managed mimic the voice of a Clone Trooper. It was enough to almost fool Captain Rex and Commander Cody."
Ahsoka nods when she remembers hearing that story from Rex and Fives. It showed how dangerous the Droid Army can be and what they are capable of.
"Do you think the Clone is a Commando Droid?" Master Secura asked.
Master Windu nods. "But, without proof we can't do anything. So, we'll have to find proof on the planet."
"How do we do that?" Ahsoka asked. "There is no way we can get passed all the blockade without getting blasted from the sky."
"Then we'll make sure they don't see us," Master Windu leads his comrades towards the cargo room.
He shows them a large device in the room covered in cloth. Master Windu removes it and begins explaining what it is. During a battle against a Separatist General, Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi used a ship that was equipped with a cloaking device. It allowed the Jedi to pass past the Separatist ships and gave them the victory that they needed.
Knowing they might run into trouble, Master Windu decided to equip the ship with a cloaking device as well. He explained that he had it placed on the ship, while Ahsoka was fixing some of the problems around the ship. Now that it's connected to the ship they'll be able to fly past the blockade. However, they'll also have to hurry since this new device is a prototype that he borrowed it has a time limit.
"So, we'll fly to the planet and land around this area," Master Windu showed the two female Jedi a holographic map of a rocky terrain that was far from the area where they were originally supposed to land. "Because of the time-limit we won't be able to keep the ship under cloaked long enough to get to the mountains."
"This still feels risky," said Master Secura concerned about this new plan. "And even if we do find the rebels knowing the Republic ships, they will jam our transmission."
"Not a problem," Ahsoka replied. "My master added an anti-jammer, which will allow us to contact the Republic."
"Good, then let's put this to the test and get passed the blockade," said Master Windu.
As Ahsoka took off to the cockpit, Aayla stops Master Windu for a moment. "I didn't say this before since I assumed you noticed it, right?"
Master Windu knew what Aayla was talking about and nods. "I saw the planet was covered by some sort of dark cloud."
"Why would the Separatist do such a thing?" Aayla asked confused by what she saw.
"I don't know," Windu replied showing his concerns himself. "Let's just hope there is someone we can talk to, so we can find the answers we're looking for."
"Do you think Vampira or Torus are involved?" she asked.
"That is a possibility," he replied. "If we do encounter them we'll need to be careful."
"I know, I read the reports too," she replied as she walks up to the cockpit. "What do we do if we encounter them?"
Windu sighed and gave Aayla her answer. "Let's just hope we're enough to stop them."
Coruscant
Barriss is in the Mediation Garden walking around. She decided to go meditate before anything bad happens. She knew something was going to happen and wanted to have her mind cleared. After finding a nice secluded spot she sits down and begins to mediate.
As she meditates she begins to float in the air. She begins to remember whenever she would meditate with Ahsoka, how her friend always asks her how she can levitate. She always explains to her how it's done, but she never manages to get even an inch off the ground. She figures the reason her friend can't meditate is because she has too much on her mind.
The war is most likely the reason. Many Jedi she knows don't meditate anymore because they are focused on ending the war. It pushes them to the point that they can't focus on anything. And soon they forget the teachings they were taught.
It even turned some of the best of them down a dark path. Pong Krell, is a good example. He turned to the Dark Side and helped killed his soldiers during the Battle of Umbara. He did it so he could join Count Dooku and become a Sith.
He was stopped, but it showed how the war can turn even the best of Jedi. Barriss believed that their involvement in the war will lead them to a destructive path. She told her former mentor about this and how the Jedi should back down from the war. Her master agreed, but many believe they must be involved in order to help end the war.
Barriss opens her eyes and levitates back to the ground. "What must happen before our time in this war will end?"
"Only time can tell," she looks over and sees Master Yoda approaching her. She is about to sit up, but the elder Jedi stops her. "Stay, sit up not needed. Sit down with you I will."
She nods as he sits down next to her. "Hello, Master Yoda. What brings you here?"
"Meditate I came," he replied as a butterfly passed him by. "Come here I do, clear my thought it helps. The same reason you are here, correct?"
"Yes," she replied. "It's nice to come here once in a while to relax. Lately though I haven't had much of a chance to do it, because of…well you know."
Master Yoda nods understanding what Barriss means. "In time of war, clear our thoughts and find peace we must. Without either one, left we are is anger and conflict."
"Do you believe that is why Krell turned?" she asked.
Master Yoda gets up and walks towards the tree. "If allowed both anger and conflict to reside within a Jedi, then become dark we will. Krell allowed the darkness to turn him he did and chose he did to do terrible things."
"All because he believed he would serve Count Dooku as his apprentice," Barriss couldn't imagine how bad it would be if Krell did become a Sith apprentice.
"Learn we must to be free from this so that our path will take us to the light and not the darkness," said Master Yoda as he sits down next to Barriss. "Proud I am of the path you have taken and even prouder of a great Jedi you have become."
Barriss nods as she gets up. "I have to go, thank you for the talk master."
"You're welcome," said Master Yoda as he watches her leave. "Trained her well you did."
A hooded figure appeared from behind the tree. "I only taught them a few things. The rest they learned on their own."
Master Yoda gets up and greets his guest. "Good it is to see you, old friend."
The figure removes his hood and reveals himself to be Zane. "It's good to see you too, old friend."
Ryloth
The ship landed near the mountains away from any towns or cities. Once they landed they shut off the cloaking and head out of the ship. Mace Windu took out a pair of binoculars and checks towards a known Republic Base. He gets a look and finds the base is filled with Separatist Battle and Commando Droids.
"It looks like the Separatist have taken the planet," said Mace Windu as he puts the binoculars away.
"If this is true we'll need to contact the Republic," said Aayla Secura.
"First we need to find the rebels," said Master Windu.
"If they're alive," said Ahsoka hoping the rebels are not dead.
Master Windu nods in agreement. "Padawan, stay with the ship and if you spot any droids activate the cloaking."
"You want me to guard the ship?" Ahsoka asked upset that that's all she is doing.
"Someone has to and if we do find the rebels we need you to contact the Council to let them know what we found," Master Windu explained.
Ahsoka still feels upset, so Aayla tries to cheer her up. "Don't worry, you'll get your chance. Just keep an eye on the ship and we'll be back."
Ahsoka eventually agrees. "Be careful."
"We will," Master Secura replied as the two Jedi took off. As they got some distance from Ahsoka, Aayla turns towards Master Windu. "Why do I get a feeling you still treat her like a youngling?"
"Are you referring to me telling her to stay with the ship?" he asked.
"Yes," she replied. "I know she is still young, but she has come a long way since she became a Padawan. As much as what we have gone through when we started as Padawans."
"I know," he answered. "But that's not why I asked her to stay with the ship."
She stares at him confused. "Then, what is the reason?"
"You sense it don't you?" he asked as he looks up into the dark sky. "Ever since we arrived I have been sensing a dark presence that has engulfed the planet."
She looks up and can sense it too. "What is that?"
"I don't know," he replied narrowing his eyes. "But that's why I left her on the ship. If anything happens she will need to be ready to take off and head back to the Republic for backup. If the Separatist captures the three of us…you and I can handle any kind of torture they can give us. But I'm not going to put Padawan Tano through that."
She now understands why he kept Ahsoka on the ship. It wasn't because he didn't trust her, it was for her own safety. He can sense something is on the planet and could be a threat. He's right, they can handle any kind of torture until backup arrives, but for someone as young as Ahsoka.
"Very well, so where will we find Cham Syndulla?" she asked when suddenly several armed Twi'lek males appeared aiming their guns at them.
"I think we just found them," said Master Windu as they see Cham Syndulla appear behind his men.
"You have a lot of guts showing your faces around here, Jedi," said Syndulla who is missing an arm. "Especially after all the times we have been trying to call you for help."
"Syndulla, we can explain," just before Windu could continue, one of the men made a whistling noise.
"You can explain when we get back, come on," said Syndulla as they head back to their hideout.
Meanwhile
Vampira is in her throne room kneeling down in front of her master, who came to see her. She gave him her full report about the situation. She has taken over the planet successfully and used her powers to control the women of the planet. She had them bring the children where they are kept in the dungeon.
She didn't bother using her powers on the men she captured since she threatened them to work for her or their women will die. So now they are working outside the palace as slaves and to be used as shields from any attacks from the rebels. Damien was disappointed that she hasn't gotten rid of them, but she assures them she will. She ordered Golem to make sure of it and to bring them in alive.
"And the Clones?" Damien asked. "Are they obeying well?"
Vampira nods. "The Clones were difficult at first to control, but after a while they obeyed my every command. I kept the ones onboard their ships alive to be used as a blockade, while the rest down here I killed them all. It was a lot of fun hearing them screaming in agony and pain. After a while I got bored so I had Golem kill the rest."
"Excellent work my dear," said Damien proud of how well his subject is doing. "Have the Power Rangers arrived?"
"Not yet," she answered. "But, I was told that a ship attempted to land on the planet. It was turned away, but I have no doubt it was the Jedi trying to enter the planet. Once they are in danger the Power Rangers will come running."
"Good, if you do capture the Jedi have them under our control so we can learn more about them," Damien ordered. "I don't trust the information Sidious provided and I want to see the Power Rangers go up against them."
"Yes master," said Vampira as Damien vanished from the room. She turns towards Golem who has entered the room. "Mistress, we've searched the area, but we couldn't find the ship."
Vampira sighed in annoyance. "Then continue with your search until you do. I don't care what you do just find them."
"Yes mistress," said Golem as he leaves the room.
Vampira heads over towards the balcony as her eyes begin to darken. "I know you are coming to save this planet and when you do arrive I will destroy you."
Rebel base
After blinding the two Jedi, the rebels bring them towards their hideout inside a large mountain. They explained to the Jedi that they didn't want to risk the Jedi being captured and tell the enemy where they are hiding. After arriving to the base, they find that there is only a few hundred rebels around the cave. Cham Syndulla explained that they hid the women and children somewhere safe in case they get discovered.
He then begins explaining to them everything that happened. "These robots appeared out of nowhere and began attacking us. Many of our men and your soldiers tried to hold them off, but there was too many of them. We had no choice but to retreat, while we saw them take many of our people as prisoners. They cut off communications keeping us from contacting the Republic and the Jedi Order."
"When did this happen?" Master Windu asked.
"A month ago," Syndulla answered angrily. "We were completely outnumbered and any attempt we made to fight back ended in disaster. That's when she showed up."
"Who?" Master Secura asked.
"Vampira," Syndulla answered surprising the two Jedi. "You know her?"
"Some of our own has encountered her," Master Secura replied. "She is very strong, fast, and is working for someone who became an ally to the Separatist."
"Whatever she is she has most of our people hidden in the fortress where Wan Tambor was hiding out," Cham shows a holographic image of the fortress. "They upgraded their security and are using the men as hostages. If we try to fight, they will shoot them before we can get to them."
"What about the women and children?" Master Windu asked.
"We believe they are inside in the dungeons being hold up. Fortunately for us we have a plan," Cham shows another holographic image of what appears to be a tunnel connecting to the fortress. "After defeating the Separatist, we began preparing for another invasion. So we created a secret tunnel inside the fortress that leads from the sewers to the outside."
Master Windu takes a look at the tunnels and can tell what Cham Syndulla's plan is. "What about the men? What is your plan for them?"
"We're still working on it," Cham explained as he turns off the hologram. "They are being forced to work because Vampira threatens to kill the women and children. If we get them freed and let them know then they will fight back. Once your Republic forces arrive we will defeat the Separatist and free our home."
Master Secura turns towards Master Windu, who seems to agree with the plan. "Very well," she began. "We will contact the Republic and bring reinforcements. However, we still need to know if the Republic ships have any of our own in them or they are just droids in disguise."
"It would be a waste of time," said Cham who doesn't seem to care about the soldiers of the Republic. "But do what you want. Just remember, our people's lives are on the line."
Coruscant
Jake, Rachel, and Rick are at a diner eating some lunch while waiting patiently for them to find out about any problems on Ryloth. So far they received no information from the amulet that Barriss gave to Ahsoka.
For Jake and Barriss, it felt wrong lying to their friend about what the amulet is for and not telling her the truth that they are the Power Rangers. They know it's for her own good, but they feel the more time they don't tell her the more likely she will be upset with them when she does find out.
"You guys shouldn't worry so much about Ahsoka being upset if she finds out the truth," said Rick as he takes a bite out of his meal. "She'll understand why you did it and why you didn't want to tell her."
"Okay first of all, don't talk with your mouth full," Rachel grabs a napkin and wipes out some of the food bits from her arm. "Secondly I agree with Rick, you guys shouldn't worry about her finding out the truth. What we need to worry about is whatever Damien is up to on Ryloth and come up with a plan for whatever we might encounter."
"What do you mean?" Jake asked. "Isn't the plan to go in and kick some ass?"
"Not after last time or did you forget Geonosis?" Rachel pointed out.
Jake realized his sister is right. Last time, Damien somehow was able to take control of their Megazords, which almost ended with them being killed. They knew the next time they go into a fight they need to come up with a plan and not underestimate their opponent. Otherwise the next fight could be their last.
"Okay, so what's the plan, sis?" Jake asked.
Rachel shrugs her shoulders. "I don't know. What I do know is with two Jedi Masters on the planet we'll need to be careful so no one suspects who we are."
"That means I can't use the Force around them. If I do they will suspect one of their own is a Jedi," said Barriss pointing out the problem.
"Especially if you talk to them," said Rick pointing out another problem.
Barriss realizes that is true. "That means if Ahsoka hears us talk she will know who we are."
"Soooo we'll have to come up with different voices?" Rachel asked. "That doesn't sound like a problem. We can change how we sound so no one suspects who we are."
"That sounds like fun. Let's do that," Rick suggested.
"Sure, you up for it Barriss?" Jake asked.
Barriss knew she didn't have a lot of choice. "I'm not very good at that though."
"I'll help you out," Rick volunteered.
"And then afterwards you two can make out," said Rachel getting a nice reaction from Barriss.
Jake sees Lux entering the diner and approaches them. "Guys, I just got a message from Zane. It looks like Vampira is on Ryloth."
"Let's contact dad then," said Rachel as she takes out her communicator.
"Zane already contacted him and he told us he will meet us on Ryloth," Lux explained.
"Let's get going then," said Jake as the others take out their morphers. "It's morphing time!"
Ryloth
Aayla Secura and Mace Windu head back towards the ship, while also discussing about a plan against Vampira. They recalled the reports from Master Luminara, Skywalker, and Kenobi about their encounter with Vampira.
Skywalker told them that she can transform increasing her speed and power making her more dangerous than even General Grievous. If they have any chance of stopping her they will need to work together.
"Do you think when Skywalker and Kenobi arrive that the four of us can stop Vampira?" Master Secura asked.
"They fought her before and have more experience than we do," Master Windu replied. "If the four of us work together we'll be able to take her down."
"All right, but what about Padawan Tano?" she asked.
Before he can respond he senses something. He looks around and grabs his lightsaber.
"We're not alone."
She can sense something is wrong too and grabs her lightsaber. Suddenly several robots appeared, armed and begin surrounding the Jedi. They ignite their lightsabers and went back to back.
"What are they waiting for?" she asked wondering why the robots haven't made their move.
They then feel a soft tremor. It got louder as the Jedi see a large stone monster heading their way. He lets out a loud growl as the Jedi stand on their guard.
"Surrender," the stone monster ordered. "Or be destroyed."
"Not going to happen," said Master Windu.
"Then prepare to be destroyed," said the stone monster as he summons more robots to appear and approach the Jedi.
Uh oh, not good for the Jedi huh? They have been caught, but will they find a way to escape? Will the Power Rangers arrive to save them or will they be destroyed? And will they be able to stop Vampira from taking Ryloth?
