Chapter 27 has arrived and here is the third part of the Ryloth story. I have been looking forward to this one and you will find out what I mean when you read it. Last time we saw Mace Windu and Aayla Secura be confronted by Golem. Will they be able to stop him or will the Power Rangers arrive to make the save?

Will Ahsoka find out the truth about the Rangers? What will happen when backup arrives? Will the Power Rangers save Ryloth? And I know people have been asking when Ahsoka is going to be a Ranger?

You will find out in time and I hope you like this chapter. I want to thank my friend who remains anonymous for his help. I appreciate it and we thank you guys for everything happened in the story. Battle for Ryloth part III

Ryloth

Master Windu begins to wake up in what he can describe as a throne room. He looks around before noticing his hands are cuffed to chains, which are attached to the floor. He begins to remember what happened before he passed out. He and Master Secura were being attacked by a rock monster that was send by Vampira.

They held their own against the robots and the monster, but their weapons were no match for it. Every time they sliced an arm, legs, head, or any part of the body off it somehow regenerates. It managed to knock Aayla out leaving Windu alone with the monster. He held his own pretty well, but when more robots appeared they captured Aayla and the monster threatened her life unless he surrenders.

Master Windu saw no choice but to do what the monster says and gives up. He then remembers something hard hitting him in the back of the head before everything turned dark.

"Aayla," he tries looking for his friend, but he sees she is not in the room.

"So that's her name," Master Windu looks over and sees a woman appearing from the darkness. "That's a nice name, thanks for telling me the name of my new slave, Master Mace Windu."

Master Windu can hear the woman giggling as she approaches him. "You must be Vampira."

Vampira nods and begins walking around Windu, who she can tell already will be fun to play with. "I can sense how strong you are. That's good, your friend was strong too, but after just half an hour with me she soon became a loyal servant."

"What did you do to her?" Master Windu asked staying calm.

Vampira moves one finger on his shoulder and as she walks around the finger moves around his body. "I did to her what I did to all my slaves. She now tells me everything I need to know and will do anything I order her to do."

"Where is she?" Master Windu asked.

"I sent her to fetch your little friend," Vampira answered hinting who she is talking about. "As for you, well I'm going to use you to help me destroy the Power Rangers."

Master Windu stares at Vampira surprise by what she said. "So you know who they are?"

Vampira kneels in front of Windu and smiles. "So the Council don't know about them. That's fine, because they will be gone when they arrive. Just like your Republic friends. I know they are coming and I know they will all die."

Just then the golem monster walks in and kneels before Vampira. "We went to where the rebels were hiding out, but they are gone."

Windu is surprised that the rebels are gone, but is glad. He assumed they left as soon as they escorted them out of their hideout. "It appears even capturing us hasn't helped you find the rebels."

Vampira approaches Windu and extends her nail until the tip touched his forehead. "I could kill you right now and send your severed head back to your friends, but…" she removes her nail from his forehead and kneels in front of him. "I've got some use for you."

Coruscant

The Council has been brought together to talk as Ahsoka Tano informs them of the situation on Ryloth. They knew something was going happening on the planet, but they didn't expect it to be like what Ahsoka told them.

The Council is brought together as Ahsoka Tano informs them of the situation on Ryloth. She tells them that Master Windu send her all the information they need on what is going on an wanted her to tell the Council as soon as possible.

She tells them that the Separatist have retaken Ryloth and are being led by Vampira. She also tells them they came in contact with the rebels, who have come up with a plan to free their people. However, they require the assistance of the Republic in order for the plan to work. Once the Council got all the information they needed they begin a plan on liberating Ryloth.

"Padawan Tano," began Master Mundi. "Once Master Windu and Secura return, remain hidden until reinforcements arrive. If Vampira is on the planet, chances are she didn't come alone."

"When will the reinforcements arrive?" Ahsoka asked.

"Master Kenobi and Skywalker's forces are finishing up on their assignment," Master Luminara answered. "They should arrive to the planet in a few hours, but remember to inform Master Windu and Secura on not to engage Vampira until reinforcements arrive."

"I understand," Ahsoka replied. "But what if they encounter us, then what do we do?"

"I'm sure Master Windu and Secura will know what to do," Master Saesee Tin replied. "But remember that Vampira is too dangerous to fight alone and if she has any of her force with her it will be even more dangerous."

Master Yoda nods in agreement. "Stay hidden, reinforcements will arrive soon."

Ahsoka nods. "We will."

Ahsoka's hologram form soon vanished and the Council began processing the information they were given.

"A month this has been going on and we had no idea," said Master Plo Koon.

Master Luminara nods in agreement. "The Dark Side has become stronger. It has made it difficult for us to sense the dangers that is happening in the galaxy."

"Indeed," Master Ki Adi Mundi said in agreement. "And now with Count Dooku's new ally, I fear the darkness is only going to continue to grow."

"If this is true then we have to find out soon who his ally is," Master Kit Fisto suggested.

"Hmm," Master Yoda knew there is one thing they can do. "Then gain new allies, we must."

The Council turns towards Master Yoda. "Who?" Master Shaak Ti asked.

Master Yoda turns towards each of the Council members before answering. "Find out we will."

Ryloth

Ahsoka continues pacing around the ship waiting for Master Secura and Windu to return. They have been gone for almost an hour since she last spoke to them. She is starting to worry something happened to them. She wants to go find them, but she is under orders to stay on the ship.

"I hate sitting around doing nothing," she said to herself as she sits down in the cockpit with her arms crossed over her chest. "I wonder if Master Windu does trust me."

She then takes a look at the gift Jake got for her and smiles a little. "Well, so far noting bad has happened. So maybe this thing is bringing me some luck."

Her ship begins detecting something heading her way. She assumes it's the two Jedi Masters, but just in case she gets to the controls of the ship. If it's the Separatist forces she'll need to fly the ship away to safety. She looks outside and sees who it is.

"Master Secura," she shuts down the power and heads down the ramp of the ship. "Master, are you okay?"

As she approaches her she noticed something is wrong. "Master? Are you okay? Where is Master Windu?" Suddenly Aayla Secura pulls out a lightsaber and attacks her.

Outer Rim

Anakin and Obi Wan are walking down the hall of the ship after receiving word from the Council about the situation on Ryloth. They were surprised to hear that Vampira is on the planet and has taken over the planet. And what's worse is that she somehow has gotten control over their forces that are on the planet.

Anakin however is more upset that the Council send his Padawan to the planet without informing him. He understands the Council can send who they want on any mission, but they still should have told him something.

Obi Wan can sense his friend is troubled and decides to talk to him about this. "Anakin, she will be fine. Ahsoka is capable of defending herself. Not to mention she has Mater Windu and Secura with her."

"I know that," Anakin replied as they stop near a window. "I just wish they didn't send her to a planet where Vampira is at."

Obi Wan understands his friend's concern. They both know how dangerous Vampira is and how difficult it was for them to fight.

"She'll be fine," Obi Wan replied. "We'll be there to help her out and we'll stop Vampira, together."

Anakin begins to calm down and nods in response. "Let's get going then."

Ryloth

"Master Secura, stop! Snap out of it!" Ahsoka shouted as she blocked the attacks from Master Secura.

Aayla Secura doesn't respond as she continues attacking. Ahsoka can see her eyes are dull, her skin looks a little pale, and she noticed two small bite marks on her neck. She doesn't know what any of this means and is trying her best to snap her master out of whatever is wrong with her. So far nothing is working and she is barely holding her own against the more experience Jedi.

"Master, please listen to me!" She ducks another swing, but is kicked in the chest knocking him towards the rocks. She sees Aayla jumping towards her, but is knocked away using the Force. "Sorry about that."

Aayla Secura recovered from the attack and uses the Force to cause the mountain near Ahsoka to break apart some rocks. They begin to fall towards the young Padawan, but are stopped when she uses the Force. However, this gave Aayla and opening as she uses the Force to lift a small rock and tossed it hitting Ahsoka right in the gut. It knocked her towards the wall as the rocks well.

Ahsoka begins to recover, but noticed her foot is stuck under the rocks. She tries using the Force to break free, but then sees Aayla jumping towards her and moves her lightsaber against her neck.

"Master, please don't do this," Ahsoka pleaded trying one last attempt to free her friend.

However, Aayla remained unchanged and is about to stab Ahsoka, when she is tackled away by the appearance of the Green Ranger. He throws her away as she rolls out of the way and snarls at the Green Ranger.

"Back off!" ordered the Green Ranger as he pulls out his dagger. "Don't make me hurt you."

Aayla snarls at her as she pulls out her lightsaber. She charges at the Green Ranger and begins attacking. He blocks her attacks, but she was too fast and made direct hits. Thanks to the armor of his suit it didn't slash through, but it still hurt.

She swings her weapon again, but he grabs her wrist and drives his knee to her gut causing her to drop the weapon. However, she grabs his wrist, moves around so her legs can wrap around his neck, and twirls him to the ground. She uses the Force to grab her weapon and tries to stab him on the chest. He moves his feet up, kicking her in the face and knocking her back.

He kicks up and delivers a spinning kick to the chest, sending her flying into the wall. Damn, she's a lot tougher than she looks.

He then noticed Ahsoka is in trouble and goes to help her. "Good to see you again, kid. Although I think we both can agree it was not in these kinds of circumstances."

Ahsoka nods in agreement when she noticed Master Secura is gone. "Where did she go?"

The Green Ranger turns around and sees the Jedi is missing. He knew she couldn't have gone far and needs to help free Ahsoka before she makes her move. He takes a look and sees her foot is stuck in the rocks. Looking over he finds her lightsaber nearby and grabs it.

"This should make things easier," he said as he hands her the weapon.

As soon as she grabbed it, something pulled the Green Ranger away from her. He lands on the ground hard as Aayla appears screaming like a wild animal. She begins punching the Green Ranger with a fury that Ahsoka has never seen before. She then brings both her hands around the Green Ranger's neck and begins choking him.

He punches her right across the face, but she keeps her grip and refuses to let go. It wasn't until Ahsoka appears kicking her across the head that she finally let's go.

She helps the Green Ranger up and hands him his weapon. "Looks like we're even."

"Well, I did save you three times so this counts as one," they see Aayla has recovered and looks ticked off. "If we survive this then we're even."

"What's wrong with her?" Ahsoka asked confused on why her friend is acting this way.

"It's Vampira," the Green Ranger replied. "A friend of mine told me has the ability to control people's mind when she bites them on the neck and injects them a sort of mind control venom. It's so powerful even a strong Jedi like your friend here would fall under its control."

Ahsoka is surprised to hear that her friend is under Vampira's control. She knew that monster had powers, but to be able to control the minds of even a strong Jedi like Master Secura is new to her. Then again she recalls how both she and Anakin were under the control of the Son while on Mortis. So if her friend is under the same kind of control, then they will need to subdue her to help release her.

"What do we do?"

"We'll need to incapacitate her to free her," he then placed his hand on her shoulder. "You up for this?"

She stares him unsure herself if she can fight her friend. However, she knew if she didn't do something to free her she would end up being Vampira's slave. So she pulls out her second lightsaber and ignites it.

"Let's do this."

Canyons

Cham Syndulla is outside their hideout waiting to hear any news from the Jedi about backup arriving. He managed to get his people out of the base and head to their new hideout. He trust the Jedi in keeping a secret, but he couldn't risk them being captured by Vampira. She has powers that he doubts the Jedi know that she has.

He has seen many of his best men get captured, then come back trying to kill them. It forced him to put them down when they couldn't find a way to save them. That is something he hopes not to do again. Not after the last one he put down was one of his best friends.

"Sir," he turns around and sees one of his men approaching him, with the little orphan Twi'lek girl. "We're ready to go, but she refuses to leave. She's afraid of running into the monster that killed her uncle."

Cham looks at the girl, who is holding on to her stuff toy. He knew the trauma the girl went through so much when she saw her uncle's death.

He walks over and kneels in front of her. He then talks to her in their native language. "Don't worry, everything is going to be okay."

She tries to smile, but then her expression turned to fear. She screams and points behind Cham. He looks over and sees the rock monster appear, letting out a loud roar. Cham goes to grab his blaster, but from above the robots appeared tackling him.

They hold him up, while another grabs the girl keeping her from escaping. Cham expects his friend to help him, but then he sees him approach the rock monster.

"I kept my end of the deal. Will you release my wife now?" he asked.

The rock monster growls at him, but then snaps his finger as two robots appeared holding a Twi'lek woman.

"Take her and go," the rock monster replied as he approaches Cham, who looks at his friend shocked at his betrayal.

His friend looks away from his leader, grabs his wife, and they run off. As soon as they got some distance away, the rock monster snaps his fingers causing the robots to open fire, killing them.

"No loose ends," said the rock monster as he stands before the rebel leader. "So you are the one behind this rebellion against Mistress Vampira. You are a hard man to find."

"You won't get away with this," said Cham trying to break free of the grip from the robots. "Our people will be liberated and you will be defeated."

The rock monster begins to laugh as he pulls out a sword made of stone. "I highly doubt that. Once I dispose of you, I will go where your rebel friends are hiding and wipe them out."

The robots force Cham to his knees and lower his head. The monster then lifts his sword up and brings it down, only for it to get blasted out of his hand.

"What the?"

Suddenly the Red Ranger appears and slashes the monster across the chest with his sword. The other Power Rangers appeared blasting the robots holding Cham and the girl, freeing them.

The rock monster backs away, regrouping with his robots upset with what just happened. "You shouldn't have done that, Red Ranger."

"Like I was going to watch back as you kill someone," the Red Ranger replied as he turns towards the rebel leader. "Are you okay?"

Cham nods in response as he is helped up by the Black Ranger. "Who are you?"

"We're the Power Rangers," the Blue Ranger answered.

The rock monster begins to laugh. "So you came after all. Good, now I can destroy you all for my mistress."

"That's not going to happen," said the Red Ranger as they summon their power weapons. "We're going to stop you and Vampira from harming the people of this planet."

"We shall see about that," the stone monster summons more robots to appear. "Destroy them!"

Meanwhile

Ahsoka and the Green Ranger continued their fight against Aayla Secura, who held her own against the two fighters. Both held back so they wouldn't hurt her, but they didn't lower their guards knowing she will try to kill them.

Aayla kicks the Green Ranger away and charges at Ahsoka who blocks the attacks from the Jedi Knight. Aayla elbows Ahsoka across the head, causing her to stagger. She goes to slash the Padawan, when the Green Ranger tackles her away. Aayla gets on top, but is kicked away knocking her to the ground.

Ahsoka uses the Force to send Aayla flying to the wall and tries to pin her. She then turns towards the Green Ranger, while struggling to keep the Jedi Knight pinned.

"If you have a way to stop her, I suggest you do it now!"

The Green Ranger nods and charges at the Jedi Knight. Aayla breaks free of the grip and uses the Force to send both opponents flying. They landed on their feet and see the Jedi Knight lifting several boulders then tosses them. Ahsoka uses the lightsaber to cut through the rocks, while the Green Ranger dodges the rocks.

"Your friend is a lot stronger than I thought she is," said the Green Ranger towards Ahsoka.

"I know," she agreed in agreement. "Do you have something that can help her?"

The Green Ranger reveals a vial containing some sort of blue substance. "If we can get this in her it will break the hold Vampira has on her."

"So, how do we do it?" she asked.

"We'll need to hold her down," the Green Ranger replied. "But even then we'll need to hold her down and that won't be easy."

Ahsoka then came up with an idea. "Not if you're the one to hold her down and I'll give her the vial."

The Green Ranger turns towards Ahsoka unsure about that decision. "It's too risky."

"I can't hold her down long enough for you to get that vial in. You can, we have to try it at least," she replied trying to convince the Green Ranger to let her help. "Please, trust me I can do this."

The Green Ranger stares at the young Jedi and sees something in her eyes that reminded him of himself when he was young. He looks down at the vial, before handing it to Ahsoka.

"Don't miss your opening," he replied.

She nods in response and puts the vial away. "Just make sure I get a good opening."

"I will," the Green Ranger replied as he charges at the Jedi Knight.

Aayla throws her lightsaber at the Green Ranger, who bends back and slides across the ground dodging the attack. Once the lightsaber misses him, he continues charging at her. She uses the Force to bring her weapon back, but he sensed it coming and jumps backwards. The lightsaber misses him, but is caught by Aayla as she charges at him.

He takes out his dagger and begins blocking her attacks. She continues swinging her lightsaber, but is blocked as he looks for an opening to pin her down. She comes in for a thrust, but he catches her arm and flips her over causing her to drop her weapon. He goes to pin her, but she grabs his wrist and flips him over.

She kicks up as does the Green Ranger as they begin throwing kicks and punches, each one being blocked. He threw a kick, which she caught and uses the Force to summon her weapon. The Green Ranger jumps up and kicks her across the head with his other leg. He tackles her to the wall, but she wraps one arm around his neck, and drives her knee into his face.

This causes him to let her go as she grabs him and throws him to the wall. She tries punching him, but he dodges causing her to injure her hands when they hit the wall. He kicks her in the chest, followed by a punch to the face, and then hits a roundhouse kick knocking her to the ground. He goes to pin her, but she uses the Force to send him flying.

He lands on his feet, but she uses the Force to grab her weapon and charges at him. He pulls out his dagger charging it up and fires an attack at the Jedi Knight. The attack hits the ground in front of her so it wouldn't do a lot of damage, but it did knock her to the ground. After putting his weapon away, he charges at her and jumps over to lock her in a full-nelson hold.

She struggled to break free, but the Green Ranger kept his grip on her so she couldn't escape. "Ahsoka, now!"

Ahsoka appears nearby with the vial in her hand and opens the Jedi Knight's mouth. "Sorry, master. This is for your own good."

She pours the drink in the Jedi Knight's mouth and got her to swallow it. Aayla lets out a loud painful scream before the Green Ranger let her go when he noticed a dark aura escaping from the Jedi's body. She falls to the floor and starts writhing in pain. After a minute she begins to calm down as the dark aura vanished.

Ahsoka kneels down near the Jedi and checks on her. "Is she?"

The Green Ranger kneels down and checks her pulse. "She's okay, but she needs some medical attention. Does your ship have an infirmary?"

Ahsoka nods and helps lift the Jedi Knight up. "Thank you for your help, Green Ranger. I owe you."

"No problem, Ahsoka," he takes Aayla in his arms bridal style. "Let's go."

As the Green Ranger begins heading to the ship, Ahsoka strays behind with so much going through her mind. I hope this proves the Council that they are on our side.

She kneels down and picks up Master Secura's lightsaber when she realized something. How does he know my name? And why does he seem so familiar?

Canyons

The Power Rangers continued fighting against the robots and Golem, leading the fight away from Cham Syndulla and the little girl he took with him. The Blue and Black Ranger are fighting up a narrowed path where one blocks an attack from the attacks from the robot, while the other destroys them. They continued this method until it was only down to two robots.

The Blue Ranger jumps on the shoulder of the Black Ranger and jumps over the robots. He lands behind them and thrust his weapon as it goes through all three of them. The Black Ranger swings his weapon and cuts the heads off the three robots. They move away as the robots explode leaving nothing left.

"Just like we practice," said Rick swinging his weapon around.

"Yeah, only this time you didn't land on my head like last time," Lux replied recalling one of their many training mishaps.

"Quit complaining and let's get going," said Rick as they head back to help the others.

The Yellow Ranger and the Pink Ranger work together as the robots push them towards the canyon wall. The Pink Ranger runs up to a small hill near the wall and fires her arrows at the robots. The Yellow Ranger joins her using her daggers to block the blasters of the robots. The robots continued their advancement, while also trying to shoot down the two female Rangers.

"This isn't looking good," said Rachel towards her friend, as she fires another arrow hitting a robot in between the eyes. "We need to take these guys down."

"I know," said Barriss in agreement when she dodges an attack from a robot, which hits the all causing some rocks to fall down. "I think I have an idea, but we need to push them to the wall."

Rachel looks at where her friend is looking at and figured out her idea. "All right, let's do it.

The two jump over and land behind the robots. Barriss uses the Force to send them near the wall, while Rachel charge up her next attack and fires hitting the wall causing it to crack, but not enough for it to come apart. The robots try charging at them, until Barriss used the Force to send them back away. Rachel fires again, this time the force from the robots hitting the wall and her attack causes the wall to come apart.

It begins falling onto the robots crushing them all. The two female Power Rangers approach the destroyed robots and see they are done.

"Nice plan, Barriss," said Rachel patting her friend on the back.

"Thanks," Barriss replied. "Let's go help, Jake."

Jake is tossed near the women as he struggles getting up. They run towards him and help him up.

"You okay, bro?" Rachel asked.

"Yeah, just a little," Jake replied lying knowing he is feeling bruised.

They then see Golem approaching them with a rock sword in his hand and a rock shield in the other. "Prepare to be destroyed, Power Rangers."

The Black and Blue Ranger suddenly appeared as they try attacking Golem from behind. To their shock two paired of hands appeared from the back of the monster grabbing their weapons. Golem swings around and throws the two Rangers near their friends. The Power Rangers recover and see what appears to be another rock monster attached to Golem.

"What the heck is that thing?" Lux asked.

"I am Golem," replied the monster, whose voice sounds high pitch. "We were made by our master, to destroy you all!"

"We'll see about that, let's combine our weapons," said Jake as the five Power Rangers begin merging their weapons together.

They hold the weapon together and shout in unison. "Ready, aim…fire!"

The weapon fired five energy blasts that hit their mark. Golem is send flying into the wall, but wasn't destroyed.

"It didn't work," said Jake shocked that the monster wasn't destroyed.

"He's a lot tougher than the last one we used this on," said Rachel who is as shocked as her brother.

Golem however was injured and knew he had to escape. "We'll meet again, Rangers. And when we do I will destroy you all!" Golem sank into the ground and disappeared.

"He got away," said Rick disappointed that they didn't destroy, Golem.

"We'll get him next time," said Barriss when they notice Cham Syndulla approach them with the little girl. "Are you two all right?"

"We are, thanks to you all," Cham replied as he stops in front of the Rangers. "I heard stories about the Power Rangers that used to help protect our people. I never thought the stories were real, but now I am glad they are."

Lux leans towards Rachel and whispers towards her. "Do you think he is talking about your parents when they were the Power Rangers?"

Rachel nods in response. "I guess so."

"You're welcome," Jake replied to Cham. "We're sorry we didn't come sooner to help. But now we're here and we're going to free everyone from Vampira."

"So you know her?" Cham asked.

"Not personally," Rick replied. "But we know she is bad and who she works for."

"But first we need to know about the Jedi who came here. Where are they?" Barriss asked.

"Back to their ship I assume," Cham replied. "Although we haven't heard from them in an hour."

"Then let's go find them and then," Jake suggested.

"Very well," said Cham as they head out to find the Jedi before Vampira makes her next move.

That's the end of the third part and now we have one more to go. The Power Rangers helped save their friend and get Golem to retreat. For those that don't know, Golem is based off the Makhai from the movie, "Wrath of the Titans." Not exactly the same, but still good I hope.
