Chapter 28 has arrived and this is the fourth part of the Ryloth arc, which took me a while to work on. I want to thank again my friend for his help on this and I hope you guys will like this. Also yeah I know many are wondering when Ahsoka is going to become a Power Ranger. Continue reading to see what happens.
Last time we saw Ahsoka work with the Green Ranger to defeat Aayla Secura who was brainwashed by Vampira. We also saw the Power Rangers go up against Golem who tried to kill Cham Syndulla. Now we will see what happens when they go up against Vampira. Will they succeed?

Battle for Ryloth part IV
Ryloth
Ahsoka helped bring Master Secura to the infirmary where the medical droid works to help her. She is told that Master Secura will be all right, but will need to get some rest. She asked how long will before the Jedi Knight regains consciousness so she can find out what happened. The droid told her it will be another hour before she wakes up.
So until then all she can do is wait. So she went to the cockpit where she began informing the Council of their new problem. How Vampira has gain control over the Clone soldiers on the ships in orbit. How she also has the ability to control anyone, even a Jedi as strong as Master Secura. She isn't sure what happened to Master Windu, but has to assume he has also been captured.
"Ahsoka, how did you subdue Master Secura?" Master Shaak Ti asked.
Ahsoka knew she had to tell them the truth, but hopes they won't get upset. "The Green Ranger appeared and helped me free Master Secura from Vampira's control. He told me he knows who she is working for and reassured me the Power Rangers are not on the side of the Separatist."
The Jedi Council looked at each other surprised that once against Power Rangers are involved, but that they know who the new ally of Count Dooku is.
"Who is it?" Master Plo Koon asked.
"I don't know. I didn't ask him yet," she replied. "However, at the moment I think we should try working together to find the rebels. If Master Secura told Vampira where they are then they are in danger."
"Agree with Padawan Tano I do," Master Yoda replied. "Work with the Power Rangers, to help free Ryloth and its people we must."
"How do we know the Power Rangers are not working for Vampira or whoever she is working for?" Master Ki-Adi-Mundi asked who still doesn't trust the Power Rangers.
"We may not have any choice," Master Kit Fisto replied. "If they know how to deal with Vampira and her master, then I say we give them a chance."
"I agree," Master Shaak Ti then turns towards Ahsoka. "We will warn your master and Master Kenobi of the situation. In the meantime, keep an eye on the Power Rangers and report back to anything you find out more about them, along with who Vampira is working for."
Ahsoka nods in response. "I will and what if Master Windu is under Vampira's control?"
"Then hope our new friends will help him too," said Master Yoda before cutting off transmission.
Ahsoka sat down on her seat as she begins trying to figure out what she is going to do now. She'll have to take the ship to move to a new location if Master Secura told Vampira where it's at. Next she'll need to go find the rebels to see if they can help her save Master Windu. Assuming the Green Ranger's friends found them in time.
That reminds me. She thought as she looks out the ship and sees the Green Ranger standing outside keeping guard. As she continues to watch him, she begins to feel something familiar. It's as if she has met him before, but can't figure it out.
"Is he someone I know?" she asked herself recalling how he spoke to her like he knew her. "Wait a minute."
She then begins recalling how the Green Ranger sounds a little like Jake's father, Nathan. But she knew there was no way he was the Green Ranger, right?
"No, of course not," she said to herself again. "If he was the Green Ranger, then that makes his kids the other Power Rangers."
Ahsoka knew she was joking, but as she begins to think about it she is starting to realize something that she didn't see before. They didn't get any official report about the Power Rangers until after the Naboo incident. That was when the others got separated and no one saw them until after the fighting.
Barriss explained what happened, but still something in her felt like her friend was lying to her. If that is true, then does that mean her friends are…no. She begins shaking these doubts from her mind not wanting to believe in them. Not wanting to believe that her friends are the Power Rangers and they have been lying about it to her, including Jake.
"But what if it is true?" she asked herself looking out the window again. "If they are then what?"
"Hey, Ahsoka!" she snaps out of her thoughts when she hears the Green Ranger calling out for her. She turns around and sees him walk into the room. "My friends found the rebels. They just send me the coordinates on where they are."
"Oh, okay where are they?" she asked activating the holographic map of Ryloth.
The Green Ranger types in the coordinates, showing where the rebels are at. "They should be here near an abandoned village. The Separatist haven't been back there since they invaded."
Ahsoka inspects the area and could see the village is near several large mountains. Mountains that would make it difficult for any droids to maneuver around and any vehicles to get through.
"All right. Let's get going," she activates the ship as it begins to lift off the ground. As they begin taking off she moves her eyes towards the Green Ranger still suspicious about him.
If they are the Power Rangers, what do I do then? She asked herself still hoping she is wrong.
Canyons
Jake is outside the cave where the rebels are hiding in. After helping save Cham Syndulla, they explained why they came and how they will help free Ryloth from Vampira's control. He was concerned when Barriss told him that Syndulla might not believe them because of his issues in the past with the Republic. However, to their surprise he was very respectful towards them and how many of the people looked up to them.
Cham explained that long ago, five young warriors came to their planet to save it and the people. In fact the warriors wore the same kind of armor the Power Rangers wear now. So it explained why the people were looking at them in awe. It made things easier for them, especially when they needed some information about where Vampira is at.
Barriss did most of the negotiations though, while the others helped the people with any injuries or any help that they needed. Jake decided to wait outside to bring his father and Ahsoka in. After finding out what happened, he wanted to make sure she is okay. Hopefully without her finding out who he and the others are.
"Has your friend arrived yet?" Jake turns around and sees Cham walking towards him.
"Not yet," Jake replied. "Did you and the others finish talking to my friend?"
Cham nods in response. "We told her about a way to get into the facility without being seen. She suggested my men and I use it to get to the people, while you and the others deal with Vampira's forces."
"That sounds like a good idea," said Jake who figures that might be the only way to help save the prisoners, without risking their lives. "Once my friend arrives with the Jedi, we'll head out."
"That's good," said Cham as he looks back into the cave where he sees the Pink Ranger holding the little Twi'lek girl from earlier. "That is the first time I've seen her finally get some sleep."
Jake looks at the direction where Cham is looking at. "She didn't get any sleep?"
"Not since she saw her uncle get murdered," Cham replied in sadness. "Many of the children we have lost their parents, but they didn't see them die the way she did. She lost her parents during the first Separatist invasion, and now lost her only family that she had left."
Jake felt bad for the little girl and how she doesn't have a family. "So, what will happen to her?"
"I don't know," Cham replied. "Hopefully we'll figure this out when this is over."
"I hope so too," Jake agreed.
Cham nods in response and looks up into the sky. "I know you and your friends are not the same warriors who saved our planet year ago, but it is still an honor for me to meet you all. My father told me a lot about the Power Rangers and how he wanted to help them in return."
"You know how you can help us?" Jake asked as Cham nods. "You can do that by helping get your people to safety after you get them out. That way no one can get hurt when we fight Vampira."
"I understand," Cham replied.
They then spotted a ship flying towards them. They head over as the ship begins to land nearby. The ship's ramp comes down as the Green Ranger and Ahsoka Tano make their way out. Jake stops halfway from Ahsoka, concerned about confronting her.
Cham approaches the Green Ranger and extends his hand. "Welcome, we're glad you both made it."
"We're glad to be here," Nathan replied as he turns around. "This is Ahsoka Tano. I believe you two met before?"
"Yes we have," Cham replied recognizing the Padawan. "Where are your Jedi friends?"
"Master Secura is inside, unconscious," she replied trying not to mention what happened to her. "Master Windu was captured by Vampira and is probably with her right now."
"Then it's a good thing we've got a plan to rescue him and our people," Cham replied as he turns towards the Red Ranger. "Our new friends here are going to distract Vampira's forces, while we go inside to rescue everyone."
"And destroy the machine creating this smoke," said the Green Ranger as he continues to explain. "Our friend told us that Vampira is weakened by sunlight. That is why she created the smoke to keep the sunlight from coming in."
"Sunrise is half an hour away," said Ahsoka understanding the plant the Green Ranger has. "If we get her outside after the machine is destroyed…"
Jake finishes what Ahsoka is about to say, "Then Vampira will be destroyed too. That sounds like a good plan."
"And if we encounter Vampira?" Cham asked. "My men encountered her before. She is too fast and too strong for us to hold her off while another group destroys the machine."
"Which is why I'm going too," Nathan answered. "I'll hold her off, while you and Padawan Tano here find the prisoners, and destroy the machine. Once we do that then we'll stop Vampira."
"Are you sure you can handle her?" Ahsoka asked.
"I'll be fine," Nathan replied as he turns towards Jake. "You guys can ready for some butt-kicking?"
"We are," Jake replied.
"Good, now let's bring Master Secura inside and go over the plan," said Nathan as he and Cham go up the ramp, leaving the two teenagers alone.
"I um better go check on the others," said Jake as he tries to leave, but is stopped by Ahsoka.
"Wait, can I ask you something?" she asked wanting to get some questions answered.
Jake hesitated at first, but he decided to reply. "S-sure, what is it?"
"I just wanted to ask..." she hesitated to ask her question wondering if who she is talking to is who she thinks it is. But before she can ask, she gets her answer when she hears a familiar voice.
"Hey, bro! Are they here yet?!" shouted Rachel as she appears from the cave holding the sleeping Twi'lek girl in her arms. "We have to hurry and stop Vampira before…"
Rachel sees Ahsoka, who looks at the Red Ranger and at her shocked. She is so glad that their suits gives them helmets to hide their expressions, because she can tell her brother is giving her the 'I'm going to kill you' look.
"Um, hi?" she said nervously.
Jake sighed behind his mask and turns towards Ahsoka. We've got a lot of explaining to do.
Meanwhile
Vampira walks around the throne room upset with what happened. Not only are the Power Rangers on the planet, but Golem returned empty-handed. She gave him orders to bring at least the rebel leader back, so she can find out any information about where the rest are hiding out. That way she can finally deal with them before dealing with the Power Rangers.
She is confident that her plan to destroy them will still work, but she didn't want to take a chance for them to work with the rebels, especially what happened to her pet. Earlier she sensed she lost control over the Jedi she used to bring her the Padawan or just kill her. She assumes the Green Ranger saved her, since she knows the other five were fighting Golem. If she doesn't act soon then her plan will fail.
"I will not fail you again, mistress," said Golem kneeling down in front of Vampira.
"We will find and destroy them before they do anything," said Golem two from behind.
"I don't care how you do it," she replied angrily. "Just make sure they are destroyed. I don't need to remind you what will happen if you fail, right?"
The two Golems nod in response. Vampira approaches them and trust her nail finger into the first Golem's forehead. This caused both Golems to yell in pain, before it subsided. She retracts her nail and walks to her throne.
"Now, when the Power Rangers arrive. Destroy them, without any hesitation."
The two Golems nod in response then vanished through the floor. She sighed in annoyance and begins rubbing the sides of her templets.
"I hate it when I deal with idiots."
"It is a pain, isn't it?" Vampira gasped when she sees her master walking through her room. "Especially when they can't seem to do anything simple."
She gets up from her throne and kneels before her master. "I was not expecting you to come. What brings you here, Master Damien?"
"I came because I wanted to check up on how things are going," he replied as he sits on the throne. "But I see that so far things don't seem to be going well."
"I assure you master, I will end the Power Rangers," she replied. "I will not fail you."
"That's good," he replied as he gets up, gets on one knee, and with one finger lifts her head up. "Because if you fail me, then your punishment will be very painful."
Vampira gulped while closing her eyes. "I-I understand."
She opens her eyes and sees her master is gone. She sighed in relief, but knew what she had to do.
Snapping her fingers as a female Twi'lek walked in. "Yes, mistress?"
"Is my new slave ready?" she asked.
"Yes, mistress," the Twi'lek replied.
"Good," Vampira gets up. "I'll need him when the Power Rangers arrive."
Canyons
"I can't believe you guys lied to me," said Ahsoka walking around a room in the rebel base, upset that her friends lied to her about them being the Power Rangers. "Why didn't you tell me the truth?"
Earlier after finding out who the Power Rangers are, Jake took Ahsoka to a room inside the rebel base to talk to her. Once they found the room, Jake told his friends to stay outside to make sure none of the rebels hear what is going on.
"We wanted to tell you," said Jake without his helmet. "But we were told not to tell you for your protection?"
"My protection?" Ahsoka asked insulted about what her friends think. "I don't need protection, Jake. I can take care of myself."
"I know that, but that's not what I meant," said Jake trying to find a way to talk to her without making her mad. "Look, my dad told me long ago a friend of their got captured after a group of bad guys found out he knew who he and the other Power Rangers are."
"Wait a minute," said Ahsoka interrupting Jake. "Nathan I know is the Green Ranger, but there were other Power Rangers before you guys?"
"Yeah," Jake replied and knew what he was going to say next is going to end up with him getting his butt kicked. "The other four we don't know who they were, but our mother was the Pink Ranger."
"Your mother was a Power Ranger?!" Ahsoka shouted, until Jake motions for her to keep it down. "Sorry, so what happened after your dad's friend got captured."
"He died," said Nathan as he enters the room without his helmet. "He was a good friend and died not wanting our enemies to know the truth about who we are. If they did know they would have hurt the people we care about, just like right now."
"But Nathan sir, I can take care of myself," Ahsoka argued.
"I know, but the enemy we are fighting is not like the ones you fought. You remember Torus, right?" Nathan asked getting Ahsoka to nod in response. "My children and their friends didn't want to lie to you, but for your safety they had to. If our enemies found out about you they will hurt you, and trust me they are more dangerous than even the Sith."
Ahsoka begins to understand the reason for all the secrets and why her friends kept them from her. She doesn't like that they lied, but it wasn't out of bad intentions.
"You promise for now on to tell me everything?" she asked.
Nathan placed his hand on her shoulder and gave her a reassuring smile. "I promise, now come on we need to move out."
Nathan puts his helmet on and leaves the room, but before Jake can join him Ahsoka stops him. "Hold on, I still need to ask you something."
"I thought we said we would tell you after this is over," said Jake.
"No, not about that," she breathes in and then breathes out before asking her question. "Were you guys there on Hoth when I was attacked?"
Jake for a moment didn't respond, but then he begins to smile and nods. This got Ahsoka to smile and embrace him in a hug.
"Thank you."
Jake returns the hug. "You're welcome. Now let's go stop Vampira."
Hyperspace
Anakin and Obi Wan are speaking with the Jedi Council after being informed about what Ahsoka told them. How Vampira has used her powers to control Aayla Secura. How she used her powers to also gain control over the Clones from the starships hovering over the planet. And how the Power Rangers are now helping Ahsoka to stop Vampira.
Something Anakin is not very thrilled with, especially when the Council seems to agree to have them assist them. Even though the chancellor told them the Power Rangers needed to be arrested.
"I still think we need to inform the chancellor about this," said Anakin suggesting the Council to inform Palpatine of what is going on.
"We will inform the chancellor after this situation is done," Master Ki-Adi-Mundi replied. "If we inform him now, before we gain any information about who Vampira's master is then it will make things very difficult for us to identify him or her."
"He is right, Skywalker," Master Plo Koon agreed. "The Power Rangers hold the piece of vital information we need to unveil the master."
"What if they forced Ahsoka to say they are on our side to lure us into a trap?" Anakin asked.
"If she was under duress she would have signaled us," said Obi Wan who now tries to calm his former student. "I know you think they are our enemies, but perhaps they are not. I have heard stories of a group of warriors that match the description of the Green Ranger that have traveled across the galaxy to save lives."
"Heard of this I have as well," Master Yoda replied. "Trust them we must in order to gain the information of Dooku's ally."
Anakin sighed. "I know we have to, but how do we know they won't turn on us? How do we know they aren't working for Vampira and her master?"
"If they were, they wouldn't have let your Padawan inform us what is going on," said Master Luminara who understands Skywalker's concerns. "We must try to learn what we can from them, and only then can we determine if they are friends or foe."
"Agree I do," said Master Yoda. "Learn to trust in others we must. Only way to end this war, it is."
"All right," said Anakin who decided to trust the Council's decision. "So, what is their plan?"
"We received a message from the rebel leader about what they are going to do," said Master Shaak Ti. "They plan to infiltrate the facility and free the prisoners, while the Power Rangers distract Vampira's forces. Once the prisoners are saved, they plan to take down Vampira so the control she has on her victims will be gone."
"Which will also free the Clone soldiers onboard the starships," said Obi Wan figuring out the rest of the plan. "A good plan, but highly risky, especially if they do have Master Windu under their control."
"I agree," said Anakin. "They should wait until we arrive."
"And how do you plan to get past the blockade?" Master Ki-Adi-Mundi asked.
"We'll figure something out," said Anakin.
"Trust in them we must that a plan they have found," said Master Yoda. "All we can do for now."
"Very well," said Master Kenobi agreeing with Master Yoda. "But if they don't free the Clones from the control, we may need to find another way to get to the planet. Without resorting to attacking our own."
Oh looks like this isn't the end after all. Yep, there is still one more part to go. Yeah, originally this was going to be one long chapter, but that changed thanks to my friend who goes by a codename, Avatar Ranger. He suggested to cut the chapter in half and have one more chapter for the arc.
So I decided to do that and I promise that the next chapter will be uploaded on Thanksgiving, where we will see the Power Rangers finish their battle against Vampira's forces. Will they be able to save the people of Ryloth? And now that Ahsoka knows what will her role now be as the story goes on?
