"Ian, Alexis look!" Barley shouts as he is standing on a fountain holding a gem as Alexis and Ian run toward him.
"Oh no." Alexis says as she sees red fog pouring from the fountain.
"Barley behind you!" Ian shouts as everyone sees red fog pouring from the fountain before a makeshift dragon appears.
"Barley run! It's after the gem!" Alexis shouts seeing the dragon look at the gem causing Barley to run before the dragon then tries to attack Ian and Alexis only for it to be tackled away by Corey and a woman.
"The Manticore!" Barley shouts happily.
"Mom?" Ian asks in confusion.
"It's okay boys. We'll take care... Whoa... You're tilting! You're tilting!" The woman says as she is riding on Corey's back.
"Go. I'll help your mom and Corey." Alexis says as she looks at Ian.
"What about you? I don't want you to get hurt." Ian says as Alexis smiles at him softly before kissing him on the cheek.
"I'll be fine Ian. Go!" Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form and goes after the creature as Barley and Ian run off with their father. As Alexis is fighting she soon gets hit harshly at a tree and falls unconscious.
*Timeskip*
"Alexis. Alexis!" A voice says as Alexis opens her eyes and sees Ian.
"Ian?" Alexis asks.
"Are you okay?" Ian asks as Alexis sits up.
"Aside from my pride and having a major headache from being thrown like a rag doll I am okay. Huh? Where's your dad?" Alexis asks as she looks around.
"We did it. Barley got to talk to him like he wanted." Ian says.
"And you?" Alexis asks.
"It's okay. I actually got someone else I want in my life now." Ian says as he smiles causing Alexis to blush.
"I'm fine with that." Alexis says as she smiles at Ian happily.
*Timeskip*
"So how's the new van?" Ian asks as he and Alexis walk outside with Barley.
"Oh. Guinevere the Second is great. I've almost got enough saved up for a sweet paint job." Barley says proudly.
"You may want to hold off on that." Alexis says.
"Why's that?" Barley asks confusedly.
"Because I already took care of it. Well me and my new girlfriend did." Ian says as he and Alexis show the new paint job on the van.
"Do you like it?" Alexis asks.
"I love it! Okay best way to the park is to take a little something called the Road of Ruin." Barley says as the group gets in the van.
"Uh... It's too obvious." Ian says as Barley looks at him.
"Wait what?" Barley asks in surprise.
"On a quest the clear path is never the right one. But on those paths you'll find things you'll cherish forever." Ian says.
"Ain't that the truth." Alexis says as she kisses Ian.
"Oh yeah!" Barley shouts as he drives off.
