It's been 5 months since the last time someone has smiled in the Natsuki's Household, they still can't accept the fact that the son they loved and deeply cared for is now gone.
Natsuki Naoko, a very caring and loving mother has now become someone who can't even take care of herself, she hasn't sleep for days and Is just sitting in front of the door still hoping that her beloved son will miraculously comeback.
Natsuki Kenichi, a very energetic and supportive man is now just barely keeping his composure up knowing that his wife needs his support for her not to completely crumble.
At first there's hope that keeps them from complete insanity but that hope was immediately crushed as they saw the camera footage in where Subaru can be seen vanishing into thin air in the middle of a dimly light street
They can't comprehend what they just saw but it was undeniably the fact and it hit them like a raging truck
Ever since that day, they know that what they can only do is wait and hope that maybe one day he'll return to their side nonetheless they still didn't stopped in trying to find him
It's already night time, and kenichi just finished preparing dinner when suddenly his sight got blurry and his surrounding confusingly changed.
His eyes hasn't adjusted to light yet but he can hear people walking around him, when he opened his eyes he saw an unfamiliar view, a place he have never seen before and it's full of different kinds of people.
Most of them have weird hair colors and is wearing unusual clothes but what shocked him the most is that some of them are not even humans but some kind of hybrids, though he wasn't really sure
Then he suddenly realized something, his WIFE, where is his WIFE? He panic and aggressively look around to find his wife sitting on a bench beside a fountain
He felt so relieved, he thought for a second what would he do if he didn't saw her there, the thought of that made all the emotions his been holding off burst out of him, the tears finally fall down from his eyes, he embraced her so tight as if she's gonna disappear, she's sleeping deeply
He then let out a loud howl, Letting his emotions run wild after holding it off for so long while people started staring at him but he didn't cared
Then one young man decided to approach him looking concerned and sympathetic, he asked "Is everything okay"?
Finally, kenichi stopped and remove his glasses to wipe his tears off then he looked up to see a gallantly red haired young man who seems to be just as tall as Subaru if not taller and he have a sword hanging on his waist
He felt alerted because people don't normally have sword in his world but at a second thought neither does they have hybrid people so maybe things really work different here
"Thanks for your concern, but I'm okay now"? Kenichi politely said
"Are you sure, you look really exhausted"? Reinhard said with a visible concern on his face, he couldn't explain it but he feels the need to help them even though he have never seen them before
It has always been normal for him to help people on a daily basis because he's a kind and a responsible knight but now was different, he wants to genuinely help them and his guts is telling him to do so
Suddenly the man collapse in front of him maybe because due to some stress and lack of sleep that was visible in the man's eyes
He then decided to take them to the mansion knowing that they were kind people because of his Divine protection, he trusts them and he wants to help them
Naoko woke up in a comfortable bed, she looked up to see an unfamiliar ceiling, she sat up with a confused look on her face while looking around the unfamiliar room she now realize how huge the room was
Beside her was her husband sleeping as if he was a baby, she wanted to wake him up but she noticed how tired he was with a big bag in his eyes and having a lot of white strands of hair, it made her realize how stressful these past few months for her husband and she felt guilty because of it
But then she remembers that her son is still missing and she's in unknown room, she immediately gone up to open the curtain to see where exactly they were and to her surprised it was a scenery the least she expected to see
With medieval styled buildings and carriage that is being pulled by strange-looking lizard, not to mention that some people looks like animals shocked her to her core
She couldn't believe what she is seeing "maybe this is just a dream or an hallucinations" she said worried
When she turned around she saw her husband waking up so she hurriedly went to him and asked "kenichi, where are we"?
It took a while for kenichi to process what she said and noticed that they're in a room they have never been before, he then remembered the strange thing that happened and that he collapsed in front of someone. Maybe he was the one that brought them here, he thought to himself
"Naoko, looks like we've been transported to another world"? He said with a really serious tone, he continues to tell what happened except the time where he cried because of few personal reasons
They then heard a knock on the door, when it opened they saw a maid that seems to be on her twenties "My lord is been waiting for both of you, please follow me" the maid politely said
Both husband and wife stood up to follow the young maid quietly without saying any word, there isn't any noice except to their footsteps until the young maid spoke again " we're now here, our dear guests"
The couple then opened the door in which they saw the red haired man sitting in front of a desk with some paperworks on top of it, the red haired man looked at them and smiled signaling them to enter
"Oh I see, you're now both awake" red haired knight said with a smile on his face "I apologize for bringing you here without your consent but I can't just left both of you laying on the street"
"No, no, no, NO!!! If anything we're thankful that you helped us" kenichi said with respect realizing that this man might be an extremely important person since he's living in such a huge mansion
Reinhard laugh at this "it's not a big deal, everyone would have done what I did if they were in such situation" kenichi then sigh at his response "you're a really nice guy" he jokingly said
Meanwhile Naoko is just standing there thinking what her son might be doing now, she can't forget him afterall
I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Reinhard Van Astrea, Royal knight and knight in the service of Lady Felt" He smiled after his present
Kenichi smile in response and introduced himself too "oh Reinhard-sama, I'm Natsuki Kenichi and this is my wife, Natsuki Naoko"
Reinhard was surprised upon hearing their surname which he knows very well, it was the surname of someone who he considers friend afterall
He carefully observe the both to see the visible resemblance that he didn't notice until now, they really look like him, he thought to himself
He's now curious and is equally excited to confirm if what he thinks is right "wait, I have something to ask, are you two perhaps related to Natsuki Subaru"?
The two flinched after hearing the name of their son who disappeared 5 months ago, Naoko who was out of her thought snap back and hurriedly went to Reinhard who have a confused look on his face when the couple reacted so aggressively towards his questions
"Where is he? Is he ok? Is he safe?is he eating well?" Naoko yelled at Reinhard unintentionally as her composure crumble after hearing the name of her missing son
Kenichi was still shocked and is processing what could this mean, my son is here, did he transported here after disappearing, he thought to himself
"Wait, calm down Naoko-san" Reinhard said calmly while backing from Naoko "yes, your son is doing well" he said
Naoko and Kenichi felt relief when hearing what had Reinhard said
"Naoko-san, Kenichi-san you can both sit down first and I'll answer your questions as much as I can" Reinhard signal them to sit on the sofa who is facing the desk in another side from Reinhard sit
They sit down and Naoko immediately the one first to ask "where is he now, can we see him"
"Subaru is currently living in Miload territory, he's also a knight like me but is serving a different lady" Reinhard said informative
"And yeah, I think Subaru will be happy to see both of you" Reinhard said while smiling
He then called a maid for it to get a carriage that will bring the couple to Miload territory
"oh and btw I'm a friend of Subaru so it's my pleasure to meet both of you, his parents" Reinhard said proudly
Naoko and Kenichi was happy to know this, that their son had manage to made friends in this unknown fantasy world but curious of what happened to their son after getting transported in this another world
