Chapter 33 is here and 2015 has well gone somewhat well…okay maybe not so much. So much craziness and shittiness going on in the world. Still, hopefully it will get better as we continue on with the year. That reminds, thank you guys for the reviews from the last chapter and from 2014.

Thanks guys I appreciate it and I hope you all like this chapter, especially after how I left things last time. Yeah last time we saw the death of Anakin at the hands of Damien's new monster, Kobura. A female Naga snake monster that was sent to attack the Jedi and the Power Rangers. The ship blew up with Anakin and Kobura inside thus killing them or what many people have been saying they are alive.

Are they? How are things going to go in this chapter? Will things go well or bad? Well you'll have to check this chapter out to find out

Thank you to my friend again for his help on the chapter and to you guys for the support. Now let's get started with the disclaimer shall we and move on with the chapter. I don't own anything from Power Rangers just my OCs. Enjoy the chapter everyone and hope you like it.

Healing part 1

Coruscant

Three days has passed since Anakin Skywalker was declared dead. He was attacked by one of Damien's monsters known as, Kobura. The attack took place onboard a Republic ship where many Clone soldiers were killed. The ship suffered severe damages from the inside that it exploded killing everyone onboard.

Everyone except for the surviving Clones and Skywalker's friends, who got to safety thanks to the fallen Jedi. Kobura confronted Skywalker and kept him from escaping, which resulted in them going down with the ship.

The Jedi searched the debris trying to find any survivors who may have gotten off the ship. They couldn't find any and so the Council decided to declare Skywalker dead. His death was a shock to the Republic who saw him as a hero, but for those close to him it hurt them even more. His death affected those close to him like his friends and to those like his wife, Padme.

She spend the last three days mourning over the death of her husband. Her godmother, Alexis came over to help comfort her and get her through this loss. So far it has helped, but the pain of losing her husband hasn't gotten better.

Obi Wan kept to himself after the loss of his former apprentice and friend, but did mourn. He didn't show it so he could help Ahsoka get through their loss. For Ahsoka, the death of Anakin hurt her more than Obi Wan. He was her mentor, a brother, a friend, and someone she looked up to.

She knew about not forming attachments, but she didn't care. He looked out for her and helped her get to where she is now. But now, he is gone and she blames herself for his death. Everyone says she was incapacitated by Kobura and would only have gotten herself killed, but she didn't care.

She felt helpless not being able to help her master and she wanted to be by his side to help him. Anakin being killed made her feel like it was her fault. It made her mad and it made her sad. All she wanted was to be alone and not talk to anyone.

Not even to her friends, who felt the same as Ahsoka. Feeling it is their fault for what happened to Skywalker and everyone on the ship that died. When they got back to Endor they felt like they did lure Kobura off the ship, but after Zane told them what happened they took the blame of Anakin's death. Jake though felt like he failed the most. He imagined a million different ways how the battle could have gone but none of them helped since they would never come true.

He had Kobura right where he wanted and could have ended her. Sure there was circumstances that kept him from doing that, but he still felt like if he had given it everything he had in that last attack then Skywalker would still be alive. Padme doesn't blame him or the others for what happened, but he believes Ahsoka does. And that is why she doesn't want to talk to them because of what happened.

They knew though from talking to Alexis and Padme that they need to go talk to her soon. If she doesn't have her friends to be there by her side the path she might take next could be a dark one.

Senate Building

"So, there's no report about Damien being sighted anywhere?" Palpatine asked towards Master Windu.

"That is correct," Master Windu replied. "We've searched every possible location of where Damien could be hiding out and found nothing. Wherever he is hiding, he is making sure we don't find him."

Master Windu, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Luminara are in the office with the Chancellor; along with Senator Organa who is sitting quietly while he listens to the Jedi speak. Padme was supposed to meet with him today to talk to the Chancellor, but she never came. He figures she is still grieving over Skywalker's death and decided to leave her be. If she needs anything he told her to contact him.

"Do you believe if we capture one of his monsters we might find out where their master is hiding?" Senator Organa asked.

"Zane explained to us that Damien's monsters are too loyal to him," Master Windu explained. "Even if we did capture one of them, we wouldn't be able to get anything out of them."

"We should still try to capture one of them if possible," the Chancellor suggested. "After all we could learn much from capturing one, including upgrading our weaponry to combat against them."

"It would be too risky," said Master Windu. "We've seen how powerful these monsters are and what powers they possess. Even if we could capture one, Damien would probably send one of his own to free that monster or destroy it."

"The last thing we need is another one of those monsters appearing here," said Senator Organa recalling how Vampira destroyed the prison facility and many of the Clones with ease. "We should focus our efforts on ending the war, and let the Power Rangers deal with these monsters."

"The Council agrees," said Master Ki-Adi-Mundi. "We don't understand the powers our new enemies or how powerful Damien is. If anyone knows how to stop them it is the Power Rangers."

"Very well," said the Chancellor. "We'll let the Power Rangers handle these monsters, but if they do end up betraying us we will have them arrested."

The two Jedi and senator nod in agreement before they make their way out of the Chancellor's office. Once they left, Palpatine turns towards the window with a scowl on his face.

"I think it's time to have a word with, Damien," said Palpatine as he gets up from his seat and walks to the next room. "And see if this partnership is worth keeping after what he has done."

Alexis's apartment

"Why me?" Jake asked while sitting on the couch with his friends nearby.

"Because you're in love with the girl," Rick replied sitting nearby on one of the chairs. "So it makes sense you go help cheer her up first, then we all go."

"Well, Lux and Barriss know her longer than me," Jake replied pointing at his friends nearby. "They should go cheer her up first before we do."

"Except we haven't spent as much time with her as you two do," Lux replied.

"He's right. You should try talking to her before we do," said Barriss with her hood down and no cloak covering her body. "Besides we already did try talking to her and she wouldn't let us in. If anyone can get her to open up it is you."

For the last few hours the Power Rangers have been trying to figure out who should talk to Ahsoka. Barriss told them that their friend has been locked in her room since the funeral last night. They grew concerned and have tried to get her out of her room, but nothing worked. So they all agreed that one of them would go see her to get her to open up, then they will be able to help her out.

"Can't Obi Wan do it?" Jake asked again.

"Mom said he has tried and agrees that you should talk to her. Besides the guy is also hurting from this," said Rachel as she gets up from her seat and sits next to her brother. "You're not scared, are you?"

"That she will kill me for not saving her master? No Im scared she will hate me cause that's something that will hurt more." said Jake as he groans loudly. "Why didn't I use everything I had to kill Kobura? I could have finished her off, but I failed."

"You didn't fail," said Lux as he sits down next to Jake. "What happened wasn't your fault. We all share in the blame for not being there to help you finish her off. At least not all of us for being there."

"You guys were busy with your jobs. No one blames you for not being there," said Rick trying to put off the weight of the blame off his friends.

"He's right," Rachel agreed. "What happened was not anyone's fault but Damien and his monster. Right now though we need to help our friend get through these hard times before she loses herself."

"But, what if she blames us for what happened?" Jake asked still concerned for how Ahsoka will react. "What do I do then?"

"I'll go," Barriss volunteered. "I'll help you get into the temple and then get you to see her. If anything happens I will have your back."

Jake began to smile. "Thank you and you sure?"

Barriss nods in response. "I'm sure."

"Okay, let's do this then," Jake then turns towards his sister. "I'll let you know what happens so you can come over to help."

"You got it," said Rachel as she shows her communicator. "Also take this."

She hands her brother an ice pack, which made Jake look worried. "W-why would I need this?"

Rachel shrugs her shoulders. "Just hold on to it just in case."

Jake puts the bag away and heads out with Barriss leaving their friends alone in the room. As soon as they left Lux lets out a sigh and looks concerned.

"I wish I could go with them to talk to her, but I'm not sure if I'm the right person to help her out."

"Why is that?" Rick asked.

Lux forgot he never told his friends what happened after his mother's death. He figures now is the best time to tell them since they have been open with whatever they needed to talk about.

"When my mother was murdered by Count Dooku, I was angry. I wanted to kill him and make him pay for what he did; but no one in the Separatist wanted to help me. They were afraid of Count Dooku and what he would do to them. I couldn't go to Ahsoka or the others since they wouldn't approve of what I wanted."

"Not hard to see why. The guy is good at acting innocent and has ways of killing people without making it look like he was involved. That is why mom says he is a dangerous man to deal with. She isn't afraid, but she is concerned about what lengths he would go through to get what he wants," said Rachel as she moves closer to Lux. "So, what happened with you?"

Lux sighed as continues. "I met with Death Watch, who offered to help me kill Count Dooku. Ahsoka found out what I was doing and tried to stop me; but I refused to listen. I believed in Death Watch and figured they would keep their word. I was wrong though and saw what kind of people they are."

"Death Watch are not the kind of people anyone with a good heart should make deals with," said Rick as he picks up a fruit from a nearby basket on the coffee table in front of him. "So, how did you guys get out of that situation?"

"We escaped after Ahsoka's astro-droid helped us out R2 I think it was called. Still, that day helped me realize that my path to vengeance almost cost my friend her life. So I decided to try finding a new path to help avenge my mother's death and make her proud. That is why I don't think I would be able to give Ahsoka any good advice, after what I almost did."

Rachel felt bad for Lux and what he had to go through. So she moves her arms around and brings him in for a hug. Lux was surprised by this at first, but soon he returns the hug and begins to smile.

"Thanks," he whispered.

She breaks the hug and smiles back. "You're welcome and hey you probably did make your mother proud. Seeing her son fight against evil monsters and defending the innocent may not be how she predicted things would go for you; but at least you are doing it for the right reason. And that alone should be enough to make her proud."

"I guess you're right," said Lux smiling.

"I always am," said Rachel.

"Not all the time," said Rick, getting a glare from Rachel. "What? You're not all the time."

Rachel decides to ignore Rick and continue talking to Lux. "Anyways, once Ahsoka gets better we will try cheering her up ourselves. Oh I should make something for her to eat. She'll probably be hungry once Jake get her out of her room and she'll need something to eat."

Rick pulls out a food packet from under the seat and places it on his head. "I'll get the water boiling and Lux come and help me encase."

Lux gulped thinking something bad is going to happen. Maybe I should have gone with the others or Rachel's mother. I wonder how she is faring with Padme. No when my dad died my Mom needed friends and support I Just hope Padme can survive this.

Padme's apartment

Alexis is in the living room waiting on Padme to return from the bathroom after feeling ill. She looks over her holopad on pictures she kept to show to her goddaughter to cheer her up. At least get her to smile. Ever since Anakin's death, Padme has been a mess.

Alexis managed to get her some personal time off from the senate, leaving Jar-Jar Binks in charge. She used this time to help comfort Padme and get her through this tough time. From helping her get some sleep, open up with her feelings so she doesn't keep them inside her, and be there when she needs to talk. The process was slow, but she knew that once she got her through this she'll be okay.

"More tea, my lady?" Alexis looks over to see one of Padme's maids, Teckla Minnau approach her.

"Thank you," Alexis takes some tea and drinks from it. "How is she feeling?"

"I just finished bringing her some new clothes since the ones she was wearing got…you know," said Teckla letting Alexis guess what happened to the clothes.

"Ah right," Alexis figured it out and sets her cup on the table. "Well I doubt it was from the food. I didn't get sick and neither did Nathan."

"Perhaps it is the stress of losing Anakin?" said Nathan coming out from the kitchen, while cleaning his hands. "It happened to Rachel once I believe and the same with Jake."

"No, stress wouldn't cause people to throw up," said Alexis as she turns towards Teckla. "I don't suppose anyone around here was sick with a stomach flu, right?"

Teckla shook her head in response. "Should I give her some medication?"

Alexis though about for a minute, before she shook her read. "Not yet. Some tea and crackers should help calm her stomach down."

"All right then," Teckla bows her head and walks back to the bedroom.

As soon as she left, Alexis turns towards her husband. "Where is Numa?"

"She is in the kitchen eating a snack," Nathan replied as their adoptive daughter came out of the room. "And here she is. Did you like your meal?"

Numa nods and then walks towards Alexis sitting next to her. She then moves her head on her lap and closed her eyes to get some sleep. This made Alexis smile as she strokes the young Twi'lek girl's face. Nathan sits down next to his wife and begins smiling himself.

"Does she have any more nightmares?" he asked.

Alexis shook her head not taking her eyes off the young girl. "Not as much as she used to. Though I wish I could say the same for Padme. Both the girls have been through so much and I fear it isn't over. Not until Damien and this war is over."

"This wasn't just Damien's fault it was mine." Nathen said as he grabbed his hands.

Alexis shook her head "It wasn't Nathan."

"It was. Back on Ryloth when I was fighting with Vampira, she told me they had something planned for Skywalker. I thought it was to try capturing him, but now it looks like they wanted to kill him instead," Nathan sighed as he placed his hand over his eyes rubbing the side of his head. "If I had only kept a close watch on him maybe I could have helped keep him from dying. Maybe even help Jake against that monster that killed Anakin."

Alexis wraps one arm around Nathan's and placed her head on his shoulder. "You were injured. If you were there you could have died too. Don't blame yourself for what happened. It wasn't your fault, just like it wasn't Jake's fault either for what happened."

"I wasn't blaming him," said Nathan.

"But he blames himself," said Alexis. "He thinks it was his fault Anakin died and is worried Ahsoka hates him. We can't blame ourselves for what happened. We can only try to move forward and make sure no more lives are lost thanks to Damien. Do you understand?"

Nathan nods in response and then sighed. "I just wish we didn't put so much pressure on the kids. After all we went through this was the last thing we wanted to put on their shoulders."

Alexis turns towards her husband and nods in response. "I know, especially after…well you know what happened years ago."

Nathan knows what his wife is talking about and sighed. "I take it you two haven't talked then?"

Alexis sighed in annoyance. "No matter how much I tried he won't listen to me. I would try getting dad to help, but I don't want him to have to deal with any more than what he has right now."

"Well, he is your brother," said Nathan trying to chuckle. "You two are as stubborn as the kids."

Alexis narrowed her eyes towards her husband. "Tiberous is the true stubborn one. I'm the one that is more forgiving."

"Could have fooled me" Nathen whispered.

"Did you say something Nathen?" Alexis asked.

"No nothing." Nathen replied.

Nathan could tell the mood died down a little and decides to try leaving the room. "I'll um just go check to see if there is any food left to eat."

Nathan quickly left the room leaving Alexis alone with their daughter. As soon as he was gone, Alexis begins to calm down and sees Padme coming out of the room.

"Hey there, how are you feeling?" she knew it was pointless to ask that, especially how Padme looks like hell.

"What do you think?" Padme replied as she slowly walks towards her seat and lets out a loud groan. "I've never felt like this before. Even after my encounter with the Blue Shadow Virus."

"I asked one of your maids if anyone was sick with the stomach flu. Was there any senators who came down with the sickness?" Alexis asked.

"I don't think so," Padme takes a sip of her tea before she continued. "Even so the only symptoms I'm showing is being nauseous and vomiting. I don't have a temperature either so it must have been something I ate."

"Well I doubt it was the food. Otherwise we would have gotten sick too," said Alexis as she grabs a pillow and places it under Numa's head so she can get off the couch. "Unless you ate something before lunch?"

Padme recalls her breakfast from earlier today and knew it couldn't be it either. "The medical droid took some blood. Hopefully it will find out what caused my sickness."

On cue the medical droid entered the room with the news the women waited for.

"Did you find out what is wrong?" Alexis asked.

"After analyzing Senator Amidala's blood we were able to identify the problem," said the medical droid as it approaches Padme. "Senator, we've identify that you are not sick with any kind of illness. In fact you are actually what is referred to as morning sickness, which is common for women that are carrying a child. In this scenario you are technically pregnant, senator."

Padme put her hand on her face "oh no." She sighed.

The room became silent as both women looked on shocked by the news. Nathan walks back into the room with a meal, when he realized how quiet the room is.

"Did I miss something?"

Jedi Temple

Ahsoka is on her bed staring blankly at the ceiling. She has been this way ever since the funeral ended. After the ship exploded she spend the last two days in the infirmary recovering from Kobura's attack. The attack left her blind for a day, but they kept her overnight to be sure her vision is okay.

After she got out she was told they found no survivors from the ship and declared Anakin dead. She still couldn't believe at what happened. There she was fighting by her former mentor's side and the next minute he is gone. All because of that monster and Damien for sending it after them.

Once the funeral ended she was approached by Barriss who wanted to talk to her. She didn't stay long and left to stay in her room. Her friend tried to get her to open up, but she didn't want to. She knows Barriss is trying to help her, but all she wanted was to be alone for a while.

As she turns her attention away from the ceiling, she looked at her Master's Lightsaber. It was found in the wreckage and Padme said she could keep it. She then turns towards the small box she took out from its hiding spot. The box contained the communicator that Zane gave her in case she ever changed her mind about becoming a Power Ranger. She took it out after the funeral and at the time was tempted to contact Zane. Not just to accept the offer, but to use the power she would get to hunt down Damien.

When she realized about what she wanted to do, she closed the box and set it away from her. It was the first time in a long time that she actually had those dark thoughts of hurting someone. The last time was when she thought Obi Wan was killed and she went with Anakin to find the man who killed him. When they found him she saw Anakin coming close to killing the guy.

A part of her though didn't kill if he did or not. What mattered to her was seeing the man pay for what he did. It wasn't until after they dropped him off at the prison that she realized what just happened and how close they were of killing an unarmed man. So when those dark thoughts came back creeping in her mind she stopped herself from doing anything she might regret.

Still, she couldn't let Damien get away with what he did. She knew she had to stop him before more innocent lives and the lives of her friends are taken. Just then she heard a knock coming from her door and figures it is Barriss again trying to talk to her. That was until she heard a familiar voice coming from the other side.

"Ahsoka, it's me Jake. Can we talk?" When Ahsoka didn't respond, Jake tried again. "Listen I know your still thinking about what happened to Anakin, and I want you to know we're here for you. I also want to talk to you because…because I'm worried about you. We all are."

As much as Ahsoka didn't want to open the door, a part of her pleaded to do it. So she sits up and uses the Force to open the door allowing Jake to come in. The two stare at each other for a moment before Jake tries smiling and speaks first.

"Hi."

"Hi," she replied back before it got silent again.

Jake tries speaking again, "I would ask how you're doing, but I know it would be pointless."

Ahsoka nods in response. "How did you get in the temple?"

"Barriss," Jake replied as he decides now is the time to tell her. "Listen about what happened on the ship I just want to say…I'm sorry."

Ahsoka stares at Jake confused. "Why are you sorry?"

"For the Kobura thing. I was fighting her earlier and I thought I could take her on my own, but I failed to stop her. Because of that she was able to escape and go after you guys. So it's my fault that Anakin is dead and that's why I'm sorry," Jake explained.

Ahsoka could sense and see Jake is feeling guilty for what happened. It felt like how she did when she blamed herself for what happened to Anakin. How if she hadn't gotten blind she would have been able to help save him. Everyone kept telling her it wasn't her fault, but it didn't help make the feeling of it go away.

"Is that why you didn't come see me after the funeral?" she asked.

Jake nods in response. "I was afraid you were mad at me. That it was my fault for what happened and you wouldn't want to see me again."

Ahsoka gets up from her bed and approaches her friend. She then wraps her arms around him and gives him a hug. Jake hesitated for a moment, before he returns the hug. After a minute Ahsoka breaks the hug and forms a small smile.

"I don't blame you for what happened. It wasn't your fault and I know you gave everything you had," Ahsoka's smile though soon changes to a scowl as she turns away from Jake. "It was Damien. He's to blame for what happened and I'm not going to rest until I make him pay."

Jake feeling uneasy about his friend's change in attitude tries to calm her down. "Ahsoka, I want to make him pay too, but you have to let us stop him. He's too dangerous for you to go after."

Ahsoka sighed. "I know, that is why…" she turns towards the box and opens it. "That is why I made my decision."

"Ahsoka?" Jake sees the communicator in her hand and figured what she is talking about. "Are you saying what I think your saying?"

Ahsoka nods in response. "I'm ready to accept Zane's offer." But is it for the right reasons?

Rhen Var

"You have betrayed me, Damien," said Darth Sidious, speaking in holographic form.

"How do you figure?" Damien asked while walking around the hologram.

"Your monster attacked Skywalker, when I told you not to go near him," Darth Sidious replied angrily. "You knew I wanted him alive so that he could become my apprentice, but you send your beast to kill him."

"Now first of all before you go accusing people of something you don't have proof of, let me explain what happened. Kobura is my monster, but she went rogue and I lost control," Damien replied acting calmly and innocently. "By the time I realized what happened it was too late. It wouldn't be the first time one of my own turned on me, so no surprise another did as well."

"Am I lead to believe someone as powerful as you lost control of one of your own?" Darth Sidious asked not believing Damien's story. "If this is true then why did your monster appear on the ship?"

"I send her to kill Skywalker's men, former apprentice, and wife," Damien replied as he stands in front of the hologram. "Doing this would have caused your future apprentice to seek revenge to kill Kobura and turn to the Dark Side. However, we both know what ended up happening in the end."

Darth Sidious scowled at Damien knowing what he says is a lie. Without proof though he can't do anything but to take his word, for now.

"Very well, but if you cross me again Damien then our partnership will end."

Damien nods in response as the hologram disappears. "Torus, has Kobura recovered from her injuries?"

Torus entered the room nodding his head. "She is ready. What do you want her to do?"

"I have something in mind, but for now let her rest," said Damien as he uses his powers to reveal the dark globe. "I'll need her services for a little mission I have in mind."

Torus nodded but still looked at Damien "Eh Master you sure you did a okay thing with the plan I mean we could inform Palpatine in it he might be old but he could still get us somehow."

Damien put his hand up "No need to worry Palpatine knows what he is allowed to know and as for the plan that is between us and Vampira until it comes forth we take it to our graves."

Torus nodded "Okay I will check on her now Master." Torus walked to the hallway.

Damien walked down to the floor as he carefully bent down and put his hand on it "Soon you will be able to get revenge on Zane for what he did to you and your brothers. We will get you a emissary for you just be penitent and will show what it means to primel for revenge."

Underneath the floor a large roar could be heard a roar that had a mixture of Rage, Fear and Venegence.

Uh oh it looks like Damien is up to something bad and that can't be good for anyone. It also looks like Ahsoka is going to accept the offer. But will her intentions for the White Ranger power be good or will it be bad? It also looks like Padme got a little surprise huh?

Is it Luke and Leia? Think Lux will survive cooking with Rachel and Rick? What will Sidious do if Damien betrays him? And how will things go next time for our heroes?

Tune in next time to find out and also thanks to my friend for his help. I appreciate my friend and also thanks to everyone for the reviews.
