I'm a complete beginner when it comes to fanfiction whether being a reader or a writer so I apologize if I ever ruined the character.
I wrote this fanfiction because I really liked Subaru's parents and that I want them to know how Subaru is doing now.

Natsuki Subaru, an energetic and kind young man is currently spending his day as a knight serving one of the candidates for the throne of Lugunica
There wasn't really any worth mentioning after the incident that occured at the sanctuary months ago
His days is normal just like any other but every now and then the feelings of guilt, loneliness, and sadness hunts him when thinking about his parents that he left without any goodbye or thanks for all the things they done for him, guilty because he didn't thought of them until the trial, lonely thinking that he will never see them again and sadness knowing that it might have been really devastating for them
He wants to see them again and atleast be able to thank them for being the best parents that he could ever wish for and maybe to assure them that his doing well and they don't have to worry.
He also cries when he's alone in his room as he can't erase the feeling of regret that is slowly crushing his heart, he felt extremely worried too as he know that his parents will be really depressed without him, their only son
But he's fully aware that all he can do now is to live his life to the fullest and just hope that his beloved dad and mom manage to move on from his sudden disappearance
Naoko is trembling full of anxiousness, same with kenichi as it's been 5 months since the last time they last saw Subaru
They can't stop thinking that he might have suffered a great deal after arriving in such a strange world and that change him
How is he now? Did he recover from his depression or maybe it gotten a lot more worse, question after question flooded both minds of the couple as they think about their son's situation before his disappearance
There's nothing but silent in the room they were in as both Natsuki is in deep thoughts when suddenly a loud noice coming from the opened door was heard which took all three's attention
There standing a young yellow haired girl with sparkling beautiful red eyes and is wearing a yellow dress that matches her cute beautiful face
"Hey Reinhard, how many times am I going to tell you that I don't like wearing this kind of flashy clothes" she yelled with an angry look on her face
"My apologies, felt-sama but I'm talking to important guests right now! you shouldn't disturb us" Reinhard politely said
"And who are these guests I wonder?" She sarcastically said as she turned to see the couple sitting in the sofa who seemed to be really familiar to her but she can't put her finger to it
Now genuinely curious on who these two guests was, she asked "who are they, Reinhard"
As Felt asked this, kenichi was the one who decided to answer "oh hello there, I'm Natsuki Kenichi and this is my wife Natsuki Naoko, we're Subaru's parents"
Felt was shocked in that unexpected introduction "your big bro's parents?" She yelled because of excitement
"For real?"
Naoko and Kenichi can't help but slightly laugh at her sudden change of mood "yes, we're Subaru's parents" Naoko said "do you perhaps know our son too"
"Yes, of course I do, I mean who doesn't, he's a well known man throughout Lugunica" felt proudly said with a grin on her face
"Huh? What do you mean by that?" Kenichi and Naoko asked exactly the same time
Reinhard confused on to why the couple didn't know about their son's huge achievements, he answered "you don't know? Subaru have accomplished a considerably a lot of outstanding deeds that earned the respect of almost all the people in Lugunica"
The Natsuki couple couldn't believe what they just heard, their son is some kind of a hero in this world? They thought to themselves
"Could you please tell us more" Kenichi said
"Of course with pleasure" felt proudly said "big bro has been a big help ever since we met, he saved my life and fought against that crazy assassin woman"
Naoko took a deep breath as her worries get bigger knowing that her son fought against a murderer, Kenichi was tense after hearing this too
"An assassin"? Naoko yelled as she couldn't contain her worries, Kenichi then hold her hand to calm her down
"Sorry, I'm just really worried for our Subaru" Naoko said apologetic
"No, it's okay we understand" Reinhard calmly said, Felt nodded in agreement
"What happened next"? Kenichi asked as he was also afraid what his son might have gone into
"Big bro's fought against that crazy woman even though he was no match for her, fortunately I managed to get help from Reinhard and he was the one who defeated that crazy woman" felt happily said
The two felt relief to know that their son have made true friends in this world that's prepare to save him from a possible horrible death
"Yeah, but after that we didn't notice that he was cut in his abdomen" Reinhard said
"What? Was he okay?" Naoko ask worried
"Yes, fortunately Emillia-sama was there to heal him" Reinhard said
"After that big bro have done a lot more of his heroic deeds, well we don't know much about the details since we're not there but we heard he took down the white whale and the great rabbits which is two of the three great mabeast" felt excitedly said with a huge grin on her face
Naoko and Kenichi was of course confused as they don't know any of the creatures mentioned but they assumed that defeating them must have been a big deal based on how the young girl talk about it
"Not only that but big bro also managed to defeat the sin archbishop of sloth which was one of the leader of the witch cultist" felt continually said
Reinhard noticed the couple confusion so he decided to speak " the three great mabeast are creature that is feared around the world for their unstoppable rampages that rarely left any witnesses and Subaru manages to defeat two of this, first is a gigantic whale who roams in the sky and the second is a horde of rabbits that eat anything in their sight"
The couple's confused face was replaced by a worried one but with a mix of amusement to it as they realized how amazing their son did and how dangerous it was
It left them speechless and was again in deep thoughts as they imagine how did their Subaru manage to defeat such scary monsters, we'll need to talk about this with him, Naoko mutter to herself as she's preparing to scold her stupid reckless son but also to show how proud she is of him
Kenichi was of course now grinning at the fullest as he feels the overwhelming excitement as he learn his son's outstanding display, so you've overcome your problems, Subaru. Kenichi proudly muttered to himself
As the four about to continue their conversation, a maid knocked on the door and entered "pardon my intrusion Reinhard-sama, felt-sama and our dear guests, the carriage is here" she politely said
"Oh I see, well then looks like this is goodbye" Reinhard said
They all then stood up, the couple prepared themselves
"What do you mean goodbye? Reinhard?" Felt said angrily "are you stupid, we need to accompany them"
"Huh? Why did you say that my lady?" Reinhard said confused
"Ypu really are dumb" felt sighed "what if they didn't let them in, they might end up spending the day on the streets and I can't let that happen" she said furiously
"No, you've helped us enough we can manage this ourselves" Kenichi seriously said
"Yeah, You don't need to trouble yourselves any further" Naoko politely said
"Please let me help and I also want to see Big bro's reaction anyway, I'm sure he'll be really shock" Felt said as she chuckle thinking about his Big bro's reaction
"Well, it can't be help, please allow us to accompany you until you meet Subaru" Reinhard said with a grin in his face as he also thinking about how his friend gonna react
"Are you sure, this is okay" Kenichi asked worried
"Of course, let's go! the carriage is waiting" felt replied
"We're very thankful for this Reinhard-kun, Felt-chan" Kenichi thankfully said
Felt flinched at this as to what honorific Kenichi chose to give her but she just decided to ignore it, Reinhard slightly laugh at his lady's cute reaction
They're now in the carriage and is headed to Miload territory, there's nothing but silence again as they just look outside through the window
Reinhard then broke the silence "I've been wanting to ask this if you don't mind but why didn't you know about the mabeast or even Subaru's accomplishments"? Reinhard asked curiously
Naoko and Kenichi looked at each other then to Reinhard "Well, we actually don't live here and Subaru just suddenly disappear few months ago without living any lead for us to find him" Kenichi sadly said as he remembers those hellish past few months
Naoko continues "We tried everything we could to find him but we felt hopeless and desperate as the days slowly passes then suddenly we found ourselves here and met you"
Reinhard and felt was confused as they process what the couple just said "you just suddenly found yourselves here? What do you mean Naoko-san? Reinhard asked
Kenichi then look at them with a serious but calm face "We're not from this world, we were just suddenly transported here and I think that's also what happened to our son"
Reinhard and felt got more confused at what Kenichi just said as the shocking revelation of another world is so unbelievable, it left them speechless as they thought to themselves that he might be joking
Naoko realizing this then talk with a calm tone "It's really sound ridiculous but we're not joking"
Felt can't helped but be slack jawed "wait, you can read our minds" she asked shocked
"Umm... No, your expressions was just really obvious" Naoko said as she can't helped but laugh at the young girl's thought, Kenichi also laugh and it's much louder than his wife
While Reinhard is trying his best to hold his laughter as his lady cover her reddened face when she realized how stupid her thought was "please, don't laugh at me" she bashfully said
Kenichi finally stopped laughing as the others has also stopped "sorry about that, it was been a long time since the last time I've laughed that hard" Kenichi said while wiping the tears from his eyes
"So Subaru was really from another world, it's still feel so unreal" Reinhard said while holding his chin as if his in deep thoughts
"Yeah, I can't believe there's such a thing as another world" felt said as she recovers from her embarrassing display from earlier
"I know right, that's what we thought too until we got transported here" Kenichi said
"To be honest, we don't really have any idea on why, how or who transported us here" Naoko said as she wonder if Subaru know
"That's strange, what kind of person would have the power to transport people from another world" Reinhard wonder to himself
"Well more importantly, how was big bro when he was a kid" Felt excitedly asked the couple
"Subaru as a kid"? The couple smiled as they reminisce the past "he's an energetic kid, I would say" Kenichi happily said
They then all happily talked about the boy as the carriage headed in their destination
A few hours later
It's already dark outside and they have now arrive at Miload territory gate, Reinhard are talking to the guards
They didn't wait that much as the guard has now kindly let them inside
Kenichi and Naoko can't help but feel anxious as strange stupid thought flooded their mind, maybe he changed and that he doesn't want to see them anymore, they know it's stupid to even think about this but they can't stop it as they slowly get close to the mansion
