Chapter 34 has arrived and glad I was able to get this up before I went back to class. I want to thank my friend for his help on this and thank you guys for the reviews from the last chapter. I appreciate it and hopefully you will like this next chapter where we will see what is going to happen when Ahsoka meets with Zane. We will also find out what is going to happen now that we found out Padme is pregnant and how she will be able to handle being a mother.

Healing part II
Coruscant
"This is not good," said Padme as she reads the report the medical droid gave her. "How can this be? I could have sworn we used protection. We've been so careful, especially with the war still going on. Could this be a mistake?"
"It's no mistake, my lady," said the medical droid. "I've checked and re-checked as you have asked. All tests showed you are indeed pregnant."
"Yeah we heard you the first time," said Alexis as she gets behind the medical droid and switches it off. "Nathan, take Numa home. I'm going to have a talk with Padme."
Nathan nods as she picks Numa up from the sofa where she slept, and carries her. "You sure you don't want me to stick around?"
"I'm sure," said Alexis as she kisses her husband on the cheek. "Don't tell the others, okay?"
"Okay," Nathan leaves with Numa, while Alexis turns her attention to Padme, who is now sitting on the couch.
Alexis sits next to her and takes the rest result from her hand. "I take it the last time you two had sex was before he left on mission?" Padme nods in response without saying a word. "I take it you thought it was your safe month and you figured not wearing protection just one time would be okay, right?"
Padme again nods and responses to Alexis. "The last time we had intercourse was a week ago. We didn't have protection, but I figure since it was my safe month that it wouldn't be a problem."
"Doesn't look like this went like you though they would," said Alexis as she tries cheering Padme up. "At least a part of him is going to be with this child. That's one good thing out of everything that has happened."
Padme sighed. "Alexis, there is a reason we've been careful. You know I've made a lot of enemies in the past. If they ever found out I was with Anakin or if I was pregnant then we would be putting the child in danger. That's why we wanted to put off on the baby thing until things got less complicated."
"And you wouldn't be able to hide your pregnancy from the senate or the Jedi Order. Who I'm guessing would have kick Anakin out, right?" Alexis asked.
Padme kept silent for a moment before she replied to Alexis's question. "We agreed that if we ever did have a child it would be after the war is over. Once it did we agreed to walk away from our jobs. Anakin would leave the Jedi Order and I would leave as a senator so we can live a peaceful life away from everything. Something you told me you did, when you were pregnant with your children."
Alexis knows what Padme is talking about and can't help but nod in agreement. When she found out about the kids being the Power Rangers, Alexis told Padme everything. How years ago she used to be one of the Power Rangers, along with seven of their friends. When she found out she was pregnant with the kids she decided to retire, not wanting to put them at risk.
Padme gets up from her seat and walks towards the window. "Now with him gone, I don't know what I'm going to do."
"Well, I know you aren't planning on giving the kid up, right?" Alexis asked getting a 'no' head shook from Padme. "Good, because you're not going to go through all this alone. I'm going to help you."
"That's sweet, but I couldn't," said Padme declining Alexis's offer.
Alexis gets up from her seat and joins Padme near the window. "I insist, after all you're my goddaughter and I promised your mother I would help you whenever you need it. And I'll even help you if the senate finds out your pregnant."
"I don't know. I mean I wouldn't want to be a burden to you or your family," said Padme.
Alexis wraps her arms around Padme and brings her in for a hug. "You are family, Padme. You're my goddaughter and you're like an Aunt to my children. Family looks out for one another and we'll help you get through this. Heck we'll even help keep people from bothering you about being pregnant."
Padme began to smile and returns the hug glad her godmother is here to help her. "All right, but only if you offered to help. Thank you."
"No problem," Alexis breaks the hug and they return to the couch. "First thing we need to do is tell your parents the truth. Then we should probably get a few trusted senators together to tell them so they can help out as well."
Padme nods knowing she will need to tell her parents they are going to be grandparents and some of her closes friends. Bail Organa will have to be one of them since he has helped her out so many times in the past, and the queen of Naboo as well. So they can figure out what she'll need to do while she is pregnant, and who will be representing Naboo while she is away. And there is one other person she feels she should tell the truth.
"We should also tell Obi Wan about this."
Alexis stares at Padme surprised by her suggestion. "Um sure, but why Obi Wan? Aren't you worried he would tell the other Jedi about this?"
Padme shook her head. "He knew about Anakin and me. He never told Anakin, but he came to talk to me about our relationship and how we need to be careful."
"Especially with all the enemies you guys made," said Alexis.
"Exactly," said Padme. "He has looked out for us since we got together and kept our relationship a secret. If he knew I was pregnant he would help keep it a secret, at least until after the baby is born."
"Sounds good. Mind if I tell the kids too?" Alexis asked.
Padme thought about it and then nods. "Sure, I don't mind. Now let's go tell the others."
Endor
Zane is in walking towards the command room after going over some more information he gathered from Nathan about Vampira's final form. He knew she was powerful, but he never knew about this true form of hers. It changed everything he thought about Damien's followers and what they were capable of. In truth it was his own fault for not looking into this some more before bringing Damien to this world.
The information he got was from the past Power Rangers who fought these creatures. There wasn't much, but he got an idea of how powerful the monsters that worked for Damien were, and what they were capable of.
Now finding out about Vampira's true form made him wonder how strong Torus is as well. If he had another form he'll need to find a way to help the Power Rangers so they can be ready for them.
He isn't sure how he plans to do it, but he hopes whatever he comes up with will help. Otherwise he might have to join in the fight himself, and if Damien finds out then he will do everything in his power to get rid of him.
As he entered the command room he sees Jake and Ahsoka standing in the room. "What are you two doing here?" he asked.
"Oh hey Zane," greeted Jake. "Sorry for not calling, but um we came to see you because Ahsoka has something to tell you."
"Does she?" Zane asked getting a nod from Ahsoka. "All right," he puts the file away and approaches her. "First of all my deepest condolences on your loss. If we had known what Damien was planning we would have been more prepared."
"I know and it's okay. I just wished there was more I could have done," said Ahsoka who shared in the guilt herself. "Jake told me you haven't found where Damien is hiding at. Why is that?"
Zane walks towards the viewing globe, where he uses his magic to cause different images to appear all around it. Ahsoka takes a look at the images and is amazed that it is showing what is going on in the galaxy. From Ryloth, Naboo, Shili, Coruscant, and even planets that are allied with the Separatist.
"This called the viewing globe. I made it so we can see what is going on in the galaxy to detect any trouble involving Damien's monsters."
"So this is how you know about the monster attacks and where to appear," said Ahsoka thinking how much this globe could help the Jedi Order. "So wait how come you didn't see what was going on, on Ryloth and where Damien is hiding out?"
"Damien uses a spell to keep us from finding out what was going on Ryloth. He is doing the same to keep us from finding out where he is hiding," Zane explained as he waves his hand over the globe causing the images to disappear. "We believe where he is hiding is under the control of the Separatist or a planet in where neither side is using. Either way determining where he is hiding is like looking for a needle in a haystack."
"But we'll find him," said Jake. "He can't stay hiding forever."
Zane nods in agreement. "In time he will reveal himself and when he does we will bring him down." He then decides to change the subject and turns his attention towards Ahsoka. "So, what is it you wanted to talk to me about?"
Ahsoka turns to Jake who motions for her to tell him. She turns back to Zane and tells him. "I decided if it's not too late that I would like to become a Power Ranger."
Zane stares at Ahsoka with no change in his expression as if he knew she was going to ask him that. "Is that so? May I ask what changed your mind?"
Ahsoka sighed and begins explaining. She told him that if Kobura hadn't taken her out she would have helped save her master. That she could have kept him from dying and they would have escaped together. But when that didn't happen it made her feel like it was her fault.
She doesn't want to see any more of her friends get hurt anymore and wants to get involved. She wants to help them and feels that she is ready.
"So, is it too late?" she asked.
Zane could sense a part of Ahsoka is being truthful, but could sense there is another motive for her decision. A motive he knew has been on her mind ever since what happened to her former master.
"Follow me," said Zane as he leads the two teenagers out of the command room.
They then head to where Ahsoka recognized is the same one where Zane took her last time. On cue the seven podiums begin to light up with the seventh holding the Power Coin and morpher.
"Wow, so that's the morpher you told me about," said Jake towards Ahsoka as he sees the morpher on the podium.
Ahsoka nods in response and turns towards Zane. "What do I do?"
"Do you remember what I told you about the Zords?" Zane asked getting a nod from Ahsoka. "Then you remember when I said it chose you because of all you have done to show you are worthy of its power. Now, grab the morpher and morph."
Ahsoka breathes in and exhales as she walks towards the podium. She then extends her hand and goes to grab the morpher, when it suddenly zapped her causing her to yell out in pain.
"Ahsoka!" Jake goes to check on his friend, who holds her hand. "What happened?"
"I don't know," Ahsoka replied feeling her hand shake from the shock. "It attacked me. Why did it do that?"
Zane sighed as he walks over to the podium. "It seems that there is another motive for you wanting this power that you did not tell us about."
"What are you talking about?" Ahsoka asked confused by what Zane meant. "I told you the reason why I want to use the power."
"It seems it doesn't believe you," said Zane.
"Zane, what are you talking about?" Jake asked wondering himself what is going on.
"I explained this to you before, Jake. To your friend however, I forgot to mention this," Zane grabs the morpher and begins walking around. "In the past the enemies of the Power Rangers found ways to control the Rangers or even take away their powers to use them for evil. So to keep this from happening again I found a way to make sure that the morphers would not be used by anyone but the Rangers they are connected too."
"Which you said it chose me," said Ahsoka feeling the effect of the shock begins to leave her hand. "So, why did it shock me?"
"Because another thing I added is if the Power Coins sense a dark motive behind the use of the power it will not be used. It will instead shock you and return here for safe keeping," Zane finished explaining as he walks back towards the podium. "Now, I am assuming that dark motive is revenge, isn't it?"
Ahsoka turns towards Jake, who seems to be wondering the same thing himself. She then turns back towards Zane and then sighed.
"I do want revenge, but I wouldn't let it change my motives of wanting to use the power for good."
"Did you use the power you have now for good when you and your master threatened to kill the man who you thought killed your friend?" Zane asked getting a surprised look from both teenagers. "Oh yes, I know about that. I also know you are angry and you want revenge. Not just on Kobura, but also on Damien."
"Ahsoka, is this true?" Jake asked.
Ahsoka stares at Zane and at Jake like a child that got caught in a lie. She kept trying to convince herself that it isn't true that she doesn't want to use the power for revenge. No matter how much she tried though she couldn't deny the truth. And the truth is Zane is right.
"I'm sorry, Ahsoka. You can't become a Power Ranger until you let go these dark thoughts," said Zane as he places the morpher back on the podium. "When you do then the power is yours."
Ahsoka feeling disappointed in herself walks out of the room, with Jake following her. As soon as they left, Alpha walks in.
"Poor girl. I do hope she'll be okay."
Zane nods in agreement. "Losing someone close is never easy, especially if it was in the hands of darkness. I know what that is like."
"What do we do then?" Alpha asked.
Zane begins thinking for a minute, until he came up with an idea. "Keep an eye on the place. I'll be right back."
Flashback (32 BBY)
Obi Wan Kenobi is onboard the ship of the Queen of Naboo looking for hi master. After getting out of Tatooine, they begin heading towards Coruscant. They need to get them information about the Trade Federation's attack on Naboo and the return of the Sith. He also knows his master wants to try getting the boy they brought with them, admitted into the Jedi Order.
Obi Wan doesn't believe the Council will allow it, because of his age. Yes his midichlorian count is high, but the rules will prevent him from being accepted by the Council.
He hears his master's voice coming nearby and follows it. He looks over and sees Master Qui-Gon Jinn giving the boy a blanket.
"Are you cold Anakin?" He asked.
"Yes Master Qui-Gon sir," the boy replied. "Sir, thank you for bringing me with you."
"Nonsense Anakin. It was our fate to meet. Were all simply instruments our only duty is to play our parts as determined by the living Force, I was meant bring you hereto the council, and you were meant to face this test."
"Obi Wan doesn't think I should be a Jedi, does he?" Anakin replied.
"Give him time. He will come around and do not worry. Your own instincts shall never fail you. I have faith in you Anakin and I know you'll become a great Jedi."
Present
Obi Wan opened his eyes recalling a memory he had years ago when he was still Qui-Gon Jinn's Padawan. How he didn't believe Anakin would become a Jedi and thought his master was giving the boy too much hope. If he had known how Anakin would have turned out, he would have supported his master. Perhaps if his master was still alive and had trained Anakin he would still be here too.
Obi Wan is seen heading towards the medication hall to clear his thoughts after Anakin's funeral last night. After finding out what happened to Anakin, he came back from his mission hoping that they did find him alive. It wasn't the first time that has happened with him coming close to death. However, when he got back to the Jedi temple he was told that Anakin was gone.
They found some survivors in escape pods near where the ship blew up. Ahsoka was taken to the infirmary after being blinded by Kobura; the creature that attacked the ship. Padme and Jake were found with no injuries, but he knew the damage was done at least for the senator. He knew of the relationship Anakin and Padme had.
It wasn't hard to figure out, especially after he saw it during the first fight in Geonosis. He saw how much they cared for one another and how they risked everything to be together. A part of him felt that Anakin shouldn't have fallen for Padme out of concerned he won't be able to let her go. He has seen it many times how he couldn't let go and how it caused him to become dark.
The other part of him though understood how Anakin felt and could see he really cares for her. He spoke to Padme about this and agreed to help Anakin if he ever felt angry or couldn't talk to anyone but her about a problem he has. Still, he kept a close eye on them and hoped that the truth never came out.
But after Anakin died he could see how much Padme was affected by it, just like Ahsoka.
Ever since the funeral she kept to herself and went to her room. He convinced the Council to let her be and that he would talk to her. He knows what it is like to lose someone close, especially if that person was a mentor.
"I should talk to her about this soon," he said to himself as he arrived to the meditation hall, but hears Padme's voice.
"Obi Wan," he turns around and sees the senator being joined by her friend, Alexis. "You remember Senator Nite?"
"Of course. It is good to see you again senator," Obi Wan greeted.
"Nice to meet you too. Although I wish it was on better circumstances," said Alexis.
Obi Wan nods in agreement. "Me too. So what brings you here, Senator Amidala?"
"Is there somewhere private we can speak?" Padme asked with a concerned look on her face.
Obi Wan could tell something is wrong and leads the two senators to the meditation hall, where thankfully there aren't any Jedi around and no cameras as well. After making sure no one is going to come into the room he begins talking to Padme.
"What is it? Is something wrong?"
Padme turns towards Alexis, who nods to her friend. "Okay, I told you before that Alexis knew about Anakin and me, right?"
Obi Wan nods as he turns towards Alexis. "She told me you pointed out how obvious it was about their relationship."
"And how it is so obvious that it is a miracle none of the Jedi Masters have noticed this," said Alexis.
"Alexis shut up." Padme replied.
Padme cleared her throat and continued. "Anyways, during the last few days I've been feeling a little under the weather. I asked a medical droid to run some tests to see what I have and well…Alexis could you show him."
Alexis hands Obi Wan the information the droid gave them. He looks over it and after a minute of rechecking it his eyes widen in shock.
"Padme, this says you're..." Padme nods confirming what Obi Wan just read. "And Anakin is…"
Padme nods again. "That's why we came. We need your help."
Endor
"Ahsoka, wait!" Jake catches up to Ahsoka and stops her from running off.
"Leave me alone Jake," said Ahsoka not wanting to talk to her friend. "I just need to be alone."
"Ahsoka, please just talk to me," said Jake trying to get her to open up. "Why didn't you tell me why you wanted to see, Zane? Why didn't you tell me you were still upset about what happened?"
"I don't know. Maybe because I didn't actually think how I was feeling mattered," Ahsoka replied showing signs of frustration. "I wasn't lying about why I wanted to see Zane, but I didn't think it would affect me becoming a Power Ranger."
"So, a part of you wanted the power for revenge?" Jake asked.
"No. I mean maybe, I don't know," said Ahsoka letting out a frustrated groan.
"Ahsoka, I may not be a Jedi, but even I know when someone is not being honest with themselves," said Jake as he moves his hand towards Ahsoka's. "Be honest. Once you are you'll feel better."
Ahsoka felt her spirits lift a little when she felt Jake's hand on hers', but tried not to show it. So instead she takes his advice and admits how she feels.
"The truth is that Zane is right. I have been thinking about what I would do if I did have the power to stop them. Yes, I do want revenge. Yes I want to make them pay for what they did and make sure they never hurt another innocent ever again…but not without losing myself."
"I guess the morpher believes you might if given the chance," said Jake figuring why the morpher shocked Ahsoka.
"So you think I would use it for revenge?" Ahsoka asked getting upset.
"No, no I mean maybe you should first try getting through the loss before you can try again. It's better to let out any negative feelings before trying something that might not end well," said Jake trying to calm down Ahsoka before she lets her anger out on him.
Ahsoka could feel herself getting angry and tries to calm herself down. She begins breathing in and out calmly until she feels herself feeling relaxed.
"Maybe your right, but what if it still doesn't accept me? What if I still have some anger and it won't let me become a Power Ranger?"
"Only time will tell," said Jake as he moves his hand from Ahsoka's, towards her shoulder. "But trust me you will and when you do we'll kick Damien's ass together."
Ahsoka began laughing a little feeling a little better. "Thank you, but if you don't mind I do want to be alone. Just for a little bit so I can be with my thoughts."
Jake nods understanding what she wants and gets up from the floor. "If you need anyone to talk to though you know where to find me."
Ahsoka gets up from the floor and forms a small smile. "I do and thank you."
She leans forward and kisses Jake on the cheek causing him to blush a little. She then begins walking down the hallway, while Jake walks off with a big smile on his face.
As Ahsoka walks down the halls she continues thinking about what Jake told her. Maybe it is best I try getting through this before I make any more decisions. It's what Anakin would want you to do. This was true, especially after the many times he told her to let go of any negative feelings she had.
Despite the fact that he had a lot of negative feelings as well and had problems letting go of them. Still, she knew Anakin and Jake are right. I know they say I should try getting passed this, but it's not so easy. I still want revenge and I still want to make that monster pay for all the harm he has done.
"So how am I going to get passed this if I still have these thoughts?"
It is then that Ahsoka passed by a door that was slightly opened. Curiosity got the better of her as she walks into the room where she notices it is dark, except for some light in the corner of the room. Walking towards it she notices a monitor machine that is connected to a cryo-tube. Taking a look inside to see a young girl a little younger than her.
Her skin is pale, long white hair, and is wearing a white clothing that covered her body. "Who is she?"
"Her name is Serenity," Ahsoka looks over and sees Zane entering the room. "And she's my daughter."
So we finally see what was in the tube. How many saw this coming? How many guessed Zane kept in the pod? And how many can guess why?
Also think Ahsoka will be able to get passed her feelings so she can become the White Ranger? Will Zane talking to her help? How will Obi Wan be able to help Padme with her being pregnant? And how many think if they lived in the Star Wars universe with no knowledge about the relationship Padme has with Anakin that you would figure out the two are together?
