Chapter 35 and the final part of the Healing arc before we get to the next one. I want to thank you guys for the support and reviews from all the past chapters. I appreciate it and thanks to my friend for his help on the story. We hope you like this chapter and the introducing of Serenity.

Yeah last time we found out Zane has a daughter named Serenity. She is the one that was seen frozen in the cryo-tube and the one Zane went to see long ago in the story. Now we will find out what happened to her and why she is frozen. We will also find out what is going to happen to Ahsoka and Padme who are both dealing with their own problems.

All of this will end today in this chapter before the next arc begins. I don't own anything from Power Rangers just my OCs. Enjoy the chapter everyone and we hope you like it. Also Happy Valentine's Day and spend some time with your loved ones.

Healing part III

Endor

Ahsoka stood near the cryo-tube in shock that the girl inside, is Zane's daughter. Something her friends never told her or perhaps never knew. But why? She asked herself wondering why Zane never told the others about this and why his daughter is frozen.

"I'm sure you're wondering why I haven't told the others about her or if Nathan and the others know, right?" Zane asked getting a nod from Ahsoka. "The reason is because I didn't want them to worry."

"Worry?" Ahsoka asked confused. "Wait, is she hurt?"

"In a way," Zane pulls up a seat and sits down. "Long ago before I went to fight against Damien, my daughter became ill. There was no cure for it at the time so I made a choice."

"You froze her?" Ahsoka asked figuring what Zane did. "Still, that happened so long ago. Wouldn't a cure have been found by now?"

"You would think so, if the illness wasn't created by Damien," said Zane getting a surprised reaction from Ahsoka. "He infected my daughter to try keeping me from getting involved in the fight. In truth it motivated me to fight him and find a cure. Damien however claimed there was no cure and she would die. I didn't believe him and I spend so many years trying to find a cure to save her."

Ahsoka felt bad for Zane and for his daughter. Damien is a monster. He is as bad as the Sith and like them he would do anything to get what he wants. She begins to try calming down though when those thoughts of wanting him to pay began creeping back into her mind.

"Ahsoka, I want to apologize for what I said before," said Zane snapping Ahsoka out of her thoughts. "I didn't mean to make it sound that I didn't believe you would become a Power Ranger. The problem is I don't want to risk you going down a dark path that will lead you to more pain."

Ahsoka sighed. "I know and it's okay. You were just being honest and I understand why it didn't accept me. I am angry, I do want revenge, and I want to rid the galaxy of Damien. Did you ever felt that way with all he did, especially to your daughter?"

Zane sighed and nods in response. "I used to, when I was young. Like your master I was reckless, hot-headed, and I let my temper get the better of me. So yes back then I would have wanted revenge on Damien for all he has done. However, things changed and so did I when our home was attacked."

"By who? Damien?" Ahsoka asked.

Zane shook his head. "Did they ever tell you about who Damien's father is?"

"No," Ahsoka replied. "Who was he?"

Zane decided to tell Ahsoka everything. "His name was Dark Specter, the monarch of evil."

Coruscant

Padme finished telling Obi Wan everything. How she is pregnant and the reason she came to him is she needs his help. She is concerned how the Council would react if they found out Anakin is the father. She also was wondered what the Council would do if her child is born Force sensitive.

Obi Wan is both surprised and concerned about the news. He is surprise about the pregnancy because he thought with the war going on that Anakin and Padme would have been more careful.

Now that she is pregnant he is concerned for her safety and the safety of the baby. He knows Padme has made a lot of enemies and if they knew she is pregnant he has no doubt they would come for her.

He also knows that if anyone found out Anakin is the father it would draw the attention of everyone he has crossed, especially Count Dooku. The Council believes Anakin is the Chosen One and so does he.

If the child is born there is a chance it will be born with a strong connection with the Force. If a Sith Lord like Count Dooku or his master found out they would try taking the child to turn it to the Dark Side.

"Obi Wan, what should we do?" Padme asked concerned about what the answer will be.

Obi Wan lets out a small sigh. "First of all I thank you for telling me this. I know your both concerned about informing the Council about this, especially you Alexis."

"Well, I wasn't concerned," said Alexis. "I was however wondering if the Council would try taking the child if he or she is born Force sensitive."

"No, they wouldn't," Obi Wan replied getting a sigh of relief from the two women. "They would be shocked to hear that Anakin is the father and that he broke the rules, but they wouldn't take your child away. However, they would ask for the child to be taken to the Jedi Order. Something I've taken you and Anakin discussed before?"

Padme nods in response. "We both agreed that after everything Anakin has gone through since being a Jedi that it isn't a life that we would want for our child. So when we decided when to have a kid that Anakin would tech our child the ways of the Force."

"But with him gone we were wondering if you know any rules that would allow a Jedi to teach a kid who isn't part of the Order?" Alexis asked.

Obi Wan began thinking of some ways to get around the rules to help Padme out. There are rules that prevent a Jedi from teaching someone who isn't part of the Order, but under the circumstances they could make an exception.

After all there is a possibility the child could be born with a strong connection with the Force and they wouldn't want a Sith Lord to train the child. Even if it's just to help train the kid to control his/her power then they could allow it.

"I could try speaking with the Council about this and see if they will allow the child to be taught," said Obi Wan with a small smile appearing. "If they don't allow it, then I will train the child myself."

Padme's expression turns to surprise with what Obi Wan said. "You would do that? But wouldn't you get in trouble for it?"

Obi Wan nods knowing he would get in trouble. "Qui-Gon Jinn years ago took a risk when he told the Council he would train Anakin without their approval because he believed in him. For Anakin and for Qui-Gon, I will do the same."

Padme begins to smile and wraps her arms around Obi Wan bringing him in for a hug. "Thank you."

Obi Wan returns the hug and then turns towards Alexis. "I take it we should wait until after the child is born?"

"Probably before," Alexis replied. "Near the end of the pregnancy since I'm sure many will suspect who the father is halfway through, right?"

Obi Wan nods in response. "Some already knew about the connection Padme and Anakin share. So they'll figure it out, but until then we will keep this a secret."

"All right. I'll go get the ship ready so we can head to Naboo," said Alexis as she begins receiving a message. "I'll be right back."

Once Alexis left the room Padme turns towards Obi Wan to ask him about another topic. "So, have you talked to Ahsoka yet?"

Obi Wan shook his head. "I will as soon as I finish meditating. If you need anything you know where to find me."

Padme nods in response and sees Alexis coming back into the room. "I have to go. Thank you Obi Wan and please take care."

"I will and take care as well," said Obi Wan in response.

As Padme is about to leave she turns around to speak to Obi Wan again. "How are you doing? You know, with Anakin being gone?"

Obi wan just looked at the senator. "I feel like how I sensed Ahsoka feels. Like she failed to help him, just like how I felt when I couldn't help Qui-Gon Jinn."

"Perhaps that is why you should try helping her," said Padme.

Obi Wan nods in agreement. "I'll help her get through this."

Padme nods and follows Alexis as they begin leaving. Obi Wan lets out one more sigh before sitting down and begins to meditate.

Endor

Zane finished his story to Ahsoka about his past and how he came to be how he is now. He told her about how his home world of Eltar that was once the source of power for the Power Rangers, until it was taken over by Damien's father.

Dark Specter, the Monarch of all that is evil and the one that invaded Zane's home. He was also the one for bringing all the villains the Rangers encountered in the past together to invade the galaxy.

Zane tried to help protect his home, even with the help of his father's allies. However, their home was soon overrun and his father send him away with the remaining survivors to safety.

Over time Zane changed and he grew to be a leader for his people and looked out for their safety. Even after Dark Specter and his forces of evil were defeated, he still remained with his people to help restore their home.

Damien soon came in and tried to use Zane's daughter to get him to stand down. This motivated Zane though and he teamed with the past Power Rangers to face his enemy in a final battle.

They were victorious, but due to his daughter's illness he placed her in cryo to save her life. It worked, but since then he has been trying to find a cure and make sure Damien never harms another innocent life again.

"So despite everything he did and what his father has done you never gave in to your hate," said Ahsoka.

"Yes," Zane replied. "Despite everything he has done and how much pain he has caused I would never give in to my hatred towards him. I know it's what my father would have wanted and I have too much to lose if I lose myself."

"I see," Ahsoka sighed. "Zane, I'm sorry for not being honest before. It's just I am tired of not being able to help my friends and seeing those I care about get killed. I wanted to try protecting them in any way I can that I was willing to let the hatred in me cloud my judgment. Maybe I'm not ready to become a Power Ranger."

Zane could tell she regrets what she did and tries to comfort her. "Not now, but maybe you will in time. I understand why you wanted the power and I know you want to protect everyone you care about. Take your time, Ahsoka. Once you are ready then you will be given the power."

"But how will I know if I am ready for it?" Ahsoka asked.

"You will know. Trust me," said Zane as he leads her towards the door. "Until then go with your friends and spend time with them. They will help you get through this and you'll get better."

Ahsoka nods in agreement as they stopped near the door. "Thank you, Zane. I promise the next time I come back I will be ready."

Zane begins to smile when he saw the confidence in Ahsoka's eyes. "I have no doubt about that. Oh and by the way, please don't tell the others about Serenity. I will tell them once I found the cure, okay?"

Ahsoka nods in response. "Of course."

As she left she sees Jake at the end of the hall looking for her. "Hey, I've been looking for you. Are you okay?"

Ahsoka nods. "I feel a little better."

"That's good to hear. Where did you go?" Jake asked.

Ahsoka looks back at the room she was in and then turns back to Jake with a smile. "Just for a walk. Mind if we head back?"

"Sure. Let's get going," said Jake as they head back to the command room.

Once they were gone, Zane came out of the room smiling. "Good luck, Ahsoka and I hope you feel better."

Coruscant

"Well, I think we can safely say that trying to make a simple meal isn't always easy," said Rick as he uses the fire extinguisher to put out the last fire in the kitchen.

After Jake and Barriss left, the three Rangers decide to try cooking up something to eat. Lux stood by to assist them in giving them the items they need for the food, while Rachel and Rick cooked. They both made their own meals, but they didn't turn out well. They made a mess around the kitchen trying to put out the fire that burned the food and all before Nathan came back home with Numa.

Once he was home he send the three teenagers to the living room, while he finished cleaning the mess. Lux is sitting next to Rachel, while Rick is sitting on the other seat with Numa near the table drawing.

"Not my fault the fire happened," said Rachel defending her actions.

"You put too much cooking oil and left it close to the stove," said Rick receiving a glare from Rachel. "Glare at me all you want you know it is true."

"At least I didn't try putting the fire away with water. Don't you know what happens when you add water on a stove while it is on fire?" Rachel asked.

"I didn't know where the fire extinguisher was at and I thought it was a good idea," said Rick defending his actions. "At least I wasn't using the apron to put out the fire."

Before Rachel could respond, Lux got involved. "So um Numa how are you? Are you getting along with Mrs. Nite?"

Numa nods and replies to Lux, but in her native language. He turns to Rachel who translates for her adoptive sister. "She said she is doing okay and is happy with us. We're still working on teaching her and getting her used to her new home."

"And getting her to not have any nightmares too," said Rick as he pulls out a cloth to wipe away the ash from his face. "It's a working progress."

"I bet," said Lux as Numa finishes drawing and gives the picture to Rachel. "What did she make?"

Rachel began giggling and shows the picture. It is her in her Pink Ranger form beating up Golem.

"Wait, we got involved in that fight. How come she didn't draw us too?" Rick asked.

"Because she looks up to her big sister," said Rachel as she hugs Numa, who returns the hug.

"I am so glad not to have a little sister now," said Rick as he gets up from his seat. "I'm going to take a bath."

After Rick left Lux takes a look at the picture. "You may want to keep this out of sight. It might draw some unwanted attention."

Rachel sighed. "Your right. I guess we'll have to wait until the fighting is over before we can show this huh?"

Lux nods in response until he began receiving a message from his com-link. He leaves the room for a minute before coming back.

"I have to go. The Chancellor has asked to see me about something that is going on Onderon."

"Is everything okay?" Rachel asked sounding concerned.

"I think so. I'll let you guys know what happened when I finish with my meeting," said Lux as he heads towards the door. "Also if Jake calls to let us know we can go see Ahsoka, do you mind waiting for me?"

"Of course and be careful," said Rachel as Lux leaves the apartment. She turns around and sees her father leaning against the wall. "What?"

Nathan begins to chuckle as he cleans his hand with a cloth. "Nothing. Just wondering when that boy or you will make the first move."

He walks back into the kitchen, while Rachel looks back at the door and sighed. It's no secret that she likes him and wants to tell him the truth. Each time she tries she stops and decides to try again next time. The way things have been going maybe she should try waiting for him to make the first move.

If not then she will try again to make the first move. "Hopefully nothing bad happens before I can tell him."

Jedi Temple

Obi Wan heads towards Ahsoka's room to talk to her after he finished meditating. As he arrives to the room he goes to knock on the door, until it opens with Ahsoka coming out.

"Oh, hello Obi Wan," said Ahsoka greeting the Jedi Master. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to check up on you," Obi Wan replied. "How are you feeling?"

Ahsoka sighed. "I'm still getting there. How about you?"

Obi Wan sighed as well and crossed his arms over his chest. "The same as you. I'm glad to see you coming out of the room. I heard you didn't come out after the funeral. We were worried about you."

"I know and I'm sorry for making you all worried. I am feeling better though," said Ahsoka trying to smile to reassure her friend all is okay.

Obi Wan could sense Ahsoka does seem okay, but he still wants to make sure. "Well, I just want to let you know if you need anything I will be here to help you. You're not alone in all of this."

Ahsoka nods in response. "I know and thank you. If you also need anything then you know I'll be there to help you."

Obi Wan lets out a small laugh and nods as well. "Oh by the way I have something to give you," he pulls out the crystal from earlier and gives it to Ahsoka. "It's from Anakin's lightsaber. It was badly damaged, but the crystal inside was intact. I thought maybe you should keep it."

Ahsoka accepts the crystal and smiles happily. "Thank you, Obi Wan and I promise to take good care of it."

"I know you will," said Obi Wan as the two embraced in a hug.

Obi Wan lets out a small laugh and nods as well. "Oh by the way I have something to give you," he pulls out the crystal from earlier and gives it to Ahsoka. "It's from Anakin's lightsaber. It was badly damaged, but the crystal inside was intact. I thought maybe you should keep it."

Ahsoka accepts the crystal and smiles happily. She had the hilt of the lightsaber but even so it would be beyond repair but that didn't mean she couldn't make something "Thank you, Obi Wan and I promise to take good care of it."

"I know you will," said Obi Wan as the two embraced in a hug.

Once Ahsoka walked to her room. She looked at the crystal again then something hit her and she didn't know what but she just started to feel tears come down her eyes. She then felt a pair of arms wrap around her. Turning her head she sees it is Jake, who came out of her room and gives her a hug.

She turns around and returns the hug. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," said Jake as he continues to comfort her.

Rhen Var

Torus walks down the steps towards the factory where the robots are being made. As he looks over the production, he notices the carcass of a dead Clone nearby. Looking over he sees Vampira in the corner licking her lips after her meal. Torus walks towards her and offers her a cloth.

"How are you feeling?"

"Still weak, but I'm getting there" Vampira replied taking the cloth to wipe the blood from her lips. "I heard Kobura paid Skywalker a visit. I don't get why master didn't wait for me to go see him. I would have killed the Power Rangers and the Jedi's little friends while I was there. After all I heard his pet was onboard the ship and I want some payback for what she did to me."

"First of all you failed master on Ryloth. That is why he didn't send you because you still need to be punished for your failure," Torus explained getting a small snarl from Vampira. "Secondly that pet of Skywalker is mine to deal with. She got in my way on Geonosis and I want to make her pay."

"Too bad she's mine to deal with," the two look up to see Kobura slithering down from one of the metal beams nearby. "I told master I was feeling much better and I want to have some fun. So he agreed to send me on a mission where if I find Skywalker's pet then I get to do what I want with her; and I am curious to see how a Jedi tastes like."

Vampira hissed at Kobura in anger. "Why should you get to deal with her?! I want to make her pay for what she did to me!"

"Maybe because the master doesn't want you to fail him again, remember?" Kobura replied mocking Vampira.

This caused her to hiss again, getting a hiss back from Kobura as the two came face to face. Torus got in between the two women, but Kobura grabbed him and tossed him to the wall. Vampira grabs Kobura by the neck and tried to stab her. Kobura wraps her tail around Vampira and tries to constrict her.

"Enough!" Damien used his powers to knock the two women to the ground. As he approaches them they get on the ground with their heads down.

"I should punish you two for acting like spoiled children, but I have a better idea. Count Dooku found out a young senator who he wants dead is heading back to his home world in a few days."

"And you want me to deal with him?" Kobura asked.

"No, you and Vampira will deal with him," Damien replied surprising the two women. "You will find him and you will kill him. If anyone gets in your way then kill them as well, understand?"

Vampira turns to Kobura with a disgusted look on her face. Kobura had the same look, but when they turn towards their master they began to calm down.

"As you wish, master," said Vampira accepting the mission, despite who she has to work with. "So, who is our target?"

Damien hands the two a holopad revealing their target. "His name is Lux Bonteri."

So we finally see what was in the tube. How many saw this coming? How many guessed what Zane kept in the pod? And how many can guess why?

Also think Ahsoka will be able to get passed her feelings so she can become the White Ranger? Will Zane talking to her help? How will Obi Wan be able to help Padme with her being pregnant? And how many think if they lived in the Star Wars universe with no knowledge about the relationship Padme has with Anakin that you would figure out the two are together?
