Blake's morning was filled with a mixture of excitement and nervousness.
Waking up this morning to a wet spot in her panties from excitement wasn't exactly the way she wanted to start today, and considering she was up earlier than the rest of her team she quickly took a shower as to avoid the awkwardness of it all.
Her dream from that night was a rather explicit one about the new professor and one she rather banish to the confines of her deep mind.
Weiss on her end couldn't stop gushing about her talk with the professor and how she found out he is absolutely available, if not too absorbed in his studies to focus his attention on her and her outfit yesterday. She exclaimed about how he was so polite and courteous if not a little dense to obvious interest from the opposite sex.
Blake couldn't get her thoughts in order. Her mind wondering about her meeting with the professor later that day. A meeting she better not share with the team lest they be on her tail.
Is this a date, we never classified it as that. No! this is just two people having an intellectual conversation over coffee.
The lessons that day went over in a flash. Blake tried not to show her excitement as she split up from the group.
"I will be going to the library again to study you guys, see you all soon" she told them.
Ruby and Yang accepted it without much thought, but as she left Weiss stared at her curiously. Almost wondering about her intentions.
As she stepped outside of the giant building, the sun hit her face. A true summer day. Students walked around in summer clothing as the intense heat had settled in. It was a good feeling for sure after the long lessons they often had.
She searched around for the young professor but did not find him at first. Until a voice called to her.
"Looking for me" she turned to see the professor looking at her, this time dressed quite casually. A normal pair of grey jeans and dark red shirt. Blake never noticed but he was quite muscled and fit, probably because his arms where always covered by his professional attire.
"You ready to head to the city Blake?" he asked. Blake just nodded in agreement.
There walk towards the city and subsequent coffee shop was mostly silent. With Blake unable to think about what to say towards the professor. This was quite a new setting for her. The professor was recent and had certainly left an impact, but here she was outside a school setting going out on the town with him.
At the coffee shop, Carlisle ordered for both of them and subsequently paid despite Blake's protests. He said he didn't mind as they took their place on the terrace outside of the shop.
Blake took a sip in silence, still unsure of what to say.
"Are you alright Blake? You always look so nervous. Is there something on your mind?" he asked mildly concerned.
Blake's eyes shot down to her coffee "no it's nothing professor, this is just kind of new to me is all."
"Please call me Firen," he corrected "we are not in school so there is no need for such professional titles."
Blake smiled at that. This man was so laid back and easy to talk too. Yet it also seemed he was so unavailable to her as well. It was quite a paradox. "If I may ask…Firen," saying his first name felt odd to her "where exactly did you come from?"
"From very far away, a place you probably don't know," he answered "at the age of 15 I struck on my own to learn the secrets of the world. I delved deep into my studies of nature. Trying to find answers, learning about human and Faunus cultures, perhaps to one day find a way to bring about peace between the two species."
Blake looked up intrigued. Peace between human and Faunus, that was her goal too when she joined the White Fang, before it went off the rails.
"Do you think it's possible. I have seen people like the White Fang going very over the top in their actions?" Blake inquired.
"There will always be radicals on either side thinking that drastic measures are required. I think the problem lies in a lack of communication and understanding between both species. Humans think of Faunus as wild and brute animals and Faunus think of humans as discriminatory and self-serving. And while those people exist on both sides, seeing only one perspective is a dangerous road to take."
Blake held her warm cup of coffee in her hands, completely taken in by the way he spoke his philosophy.
"Ultimately in my eyes the solution is simple. Meet in the middle. Let both sides meet and explain their grievances, then find the middle road that leads to the best outcome for both sides. I know it sounds crazy and ridiculous, but I see it as the only way one should take for a positive and equal outcome for both sides."
He took in a breather from his long speech, rubbing his temples in the process.
"Apologies Blake, I tend to ramble on about my personal thoughts a lot" he said.
"No it's fine really," Blake responded, "I just never met someone who viewed it that way, who viewed the Faunus the same as they view humans, as fellow and equal beings. There always seem to be a bias about either side on both ends."
Carlisle nodded at her "I imagine you have faced quite a lot haven't you. Being a Faunus yourself after all" he said taking a sip of his drink.
Blake spit out her coffee in response and looked at him with a shocked and almost embarrassed impression. How did he know? Why did he suspect it? Didn't she tie her bow properly? Was it something she said?
"How….how did you know?" she asked softly. Her voice shaking.
"I know people seem to think I don't notice anything because I'm so absorbed into my work, but I'm more observant then you think. As for how I figured it out, your deep fascination with Faunus culture, more so than I would see from another human implied to me you had a connection with the Faunus way of living and also how you took the issues to heart, plus how you flinched at Mr. Winchester's comment that day."
Blake wanted to sink through the ground at that moment. Out of embarrassment, fear, the emotion was almost indescribable to her.
"So figuring it out was no issue. What I don't understand is why hide it from everyone, you're not the only Faunus in school?" he asked.
"My team and some of my friends know," Blake responded, running her hand nervously through her hair "but you have seen how people have reacted. How people like Cardin react. I have seen that reaction all my life. People who fear and even hate me for just being who I am. I came here to start over, to try something better. And how can I do that if people only judge me on what I was born as instead of what can I do."
Carlisle listened intimately at her, taking a sip from his drink and nodding along.
"An understandable reaction. Personally I think you should be judged on your merits and capabilities more than your heritage, but sadly that's not how the world works as unfair as it may be. Regardless of such, in my opinion there is no need to hide who you really are. You are beautiful just as you are Blake, what you were born as shouldn't matter to anyone, at least it matters nothing to me" he said.
Blake looked up at Carlisle, her eyes where watering. She wiped away the wetness in her eyes.
"Thank you prof….I mean Firen. Nobody has ever said that to me before" she said.
"No need to thank me Blake. And no worries I won't tell anyone, it will be our little secret" he said as he held up his cup, and she tagged it with hers in agreement.
The two continued talking about. Many subjects where discussed, including the history of the Faunus, Blake's experience and even Carlisle's travelling to get to Beacon and how he got the job.
"Ozpin is a hard man to convince. I'm hoping to get a full teaching position after my time as a substitute is over. This entire place is almost magical and I wish I could learn more about it" he said.
Blake was even more intrigued by him than ever before. Not only was he young, smart and considerate. But he accepted her, right from the get go. He found out who she was and he didn't judge her any differently.
This man truly is incredible Blake thought.
A sound interrupted her deep thoughts and she saw Carlisle grab for his scroll and look at a message he had received. His look changed to one of surprise and curiosity.
"I must apologize Blake I just received an important message and my help is required somewhere, so I must cut this meeting short. How about we reschedule some other time" he said.
Blake felt disappointment creep over her, but nonetheless said "of course it is no problem."
"Ah wonderful," he said as he grabbed a napkin from the table and a pen from his pocket and wrote something upon it "this is my number and information so you can add me on the scroll, so if there is anything you need you can always contact me."
She grabbed the napkin with a smile. The man had just given his private information to her.
He trusts me that much.
"It has been a pleasure to talk to you Blake, I hope to see you again soon" he said as he softly grabbed her hand and placed a kiss upon it. Blake's face turned an instant red as he did, even as he turned around and ran of the terrace for his apparent important errand.
Blake looked fondly at the number that was written on the napkin, in disbelief but also in absolute happiness. She almost squealed as she instantly put the number into her scroll. Looking at his image in her scroll with a loving smile.
A few hours later…
Blake opened the door to her dorm, only to find it empty.
Looking through her scroll for messages, she saw a message from Ruby reading we're off to dinner, we tried to find you in the library but couldn't guess you already left.
Blake sighed in relief. She was still on cloud nine after her small, she didn't know if she could call it a date but….well meeting with professor Carlisle. She didn't want to tell her team what happened lest she incur Weiss' wrath.
She laid down on her bed slightly exhausted. A fluttery feeling in her stomach.
She took out her scroll once more, looking at the profile of Carlisle, wondering if she should message him, even though he was probably still busy. He left pretty fast after the message he received, meaning it was probably important to him.
Blake once again looked at his photo. Admiring his smile, and his jet black hair with grey sides.
I wonder if he thinks about me too she thought giggling.
Her thoughts wandered to what she could say to him. If she should message him at all. It felt odd, he was still her professor after all. But after today she felt on equal ground with him, not a student and a teacher, but just two ordinary people. Or well at least as far as you could consider a Faunus and a talented substitute teacher ordinary?
Without realizing it as she looked at the photo of Carlisle her hand wondered towards her covered womanhood as she softly stroked herself through the fabric.
As Blake realized what she did she pulled her hand back and looked around. The room was empty safe for her, but her team could come back any minute. Swiping through her scroll she looked at the message Ruby had left her. 12 minutes ago. So they hadn't been gone long. Blake bit her lip and looked around. Her feelings where jumping and her hormones where racing. And she was all alone.
She swiped the scroll back to the picture of professor Carlisle, holding it in one hand as she slipped her hand in between her shorts and underneath her panties as she started pleasuring herself.
She was already wet, so her fingers slipped in easily. Going through the motions as she played with herself and thought about the new object of her affection. Her professor no less. She moaned softly as she laid her head on her pillow and trusted her fingers into herself, wishing instead that they were his fingers.
Later that afternoon…
Dusk was starting to settle as Firen Carlisle made his way into the forests next to Beacon. No Grimm where surprisingly in sight as he looked around the forest. He received an important message and immediately knew he had to be there.
Leaving Blake so suddenly was a shame. He had grown fond of her, she was an incredible intuitive and interesting young woman.
He was broken out of his thoughts by spotting his butler and right hand, Vadim.
"Sir you are here! I found something" the man said. He was squatting once more and looking through his scroll.
"What is it Vadim? You pulled me away from an important meeting, this better be good" Carlisle replied crossing his eyes.
"It is, I can assure you," he showed him scroll, revealing a photo of a set of footprints, tiny but still recognizable to the professor "I found this a bit further away. Meaning she has been here."
Carlisle looked up ecstatically at hearing that "how long ago do you estimate?" he asked.
"Couldn't be more than a few days. The pheromone tracker also picked up her scene here but its faint. Regardless it is a lead sir" Vadim said.
"We need to search this entire forest. Leave no stone unturned, look in and around every tree. I don't care how long it takes Vadim! We are this close do you understand" Carlisle said determined.
"Understood sir" Vadim replied as he began walking through the forest. Carlisle followed behind him, looking around cautiously.
I am this close to finding her! He thought as he continued through the forest, with nightfall close behind them.
