Welcome to chapter 42 everyone and I hope everyone is ready for the second part of the Almora arc. I hope you all like how the planet will look once our heroes arrive and when they meet my friend's OC who will play a big role in the story. Last time the Republic was framed by Damien who somehow was able to control the bodies of the Clone soldiers. How did he do it? Was it with the help of Mother Talzin? And what will happen with the Tenga Warriors now in the story?

Almora part II
Outer-rim
A Nubian royal cruiser starship is seen flying through hyperspace heading to the planet of Almora for a meeting with the king. Obi Wan Kenobi is in the cockpit of the ship speaking with one of the guards for the queen, Gregar Typho.
Along with them Barriss Offee has joined them to go over the security detail for the senators. They knew Almora would provide security for their guests, but many in the Republic believe they will try capturing the senators to be used as hostages.
The Jedi don't believe that will happen, but the guards for the senators did not want to take that chance. So the Chancellor allowed ten Clone soldiers to join them on the mission just in case. Meanwhile Ahsoka is with the senators keeping an eye on them and helping keep them in the loop with any new information the Council might find about who framed the Republic. So far nothing new has come, but they're hoping something will be found soon.
"According to the guards on Almora they don't want our soldiers on the planet due to security issues," Master Kenobi explained about the security issue on Almora. "Commander Cody and Captain Typho, we'll need you to keep the men on the ship. If anything happens then we'll need your assistance."
"What if this is a trap that Almora is setting up to capture the senators and you Jedi?" Captain Typho asked unsure about doing what the Jedi is suggesting.
"They won't," Master Kenobi replied as he begins explaining. "Almora doesn't want a fight to break out until they decide what they want to do. So they won't harm either the senators or us. However, they want to make sure there is a peaceful negotiations during the proceedings. That is why we must keep the men on board so a fight doesn't break out."
"We'll also have to hand them our lightsabers," said Barriss recalling what they were told earlier. "For security reasons they'll want us to hand over our weapons. They'll do the same with Count Dooku and make sure he isn't up to something."
"He probably is and is behind this attack using our own soldiers as pawns," said Commander Cody clearly upset like the rest of the Clones with what happened. "Sir, are you sure you don't want at least one of us with you in case something does happen?"
Obi Wan shook his head in response. "We need to play by their rules and hope for the best. If Count Dooku does try something then you may get involved."
"Our goal though right now is to keep the senators save, let them do their jobs, and hope they can prove our innocence so Almora doesn't join the Separatist," said Barriss before turning to Obi Wan. "Master Kenobi, should we contact the Council to see if they found anything yet?"
"I'll contact them. I want you to go speak with Ahsoka and let her know what we're going to do," Master Kenobi suggested as he turns towards his Clone commander. "Cody, go talk to the others and let them know they'll be staying on the ship."
Barriss and Cody each give a small head bow before they leave the room. As Obi Wan begins contacting the Council, Captain Typho continues speaking to him.
"What will happen if Almora doesn't believe us?" he asked. "What happens if they join up with the Separatist and hold us hostage as leverage against the Republic?"
"Because my former master met the king a long time ago and told me he is an honourable man. He would keep his word and would look out for his people's safety making sure they stay safe," Master Kenobi replied recalling his talk with Qui-Gon Jinn. "That is why I believe he knows we are telling the truth, but he will decide what he must do for the good of his people. That is why I don't believe he will join the Separatist."
Despite what Master Kenobi said, Captain Typho was still unsure. "And what happens if you're wrong."
Obi Wan begins to smile. "Hopefully I'm not."
Meanwhile
Ahsoka is with Padme helping her go over what she will say to the king to see if it will sound good. Lux Bonteri and Senator Organa are in the next room getting things ready as well, while staying updated on what is going on. It was revealed to Ahsoka that Bail Organa was one of the past Power Rangers and helped get Lux to join them. He asked them not to tell Padme about this since he wanted to wait a while before telling her.
Padme hasn't also told him that she is pregnant, but she figures he'll find out soon and who the father is. Ahsoka and Lux agreed to keep the secret for the other, but also hoped Zane found some proof. So far nothing new has come up, but he'll still looking into it. In the meantime they'll need to meet up with the others once they arrive so they can find out what they can do to help.
"Once we arrive I'm going to go talk to Jake and the others to see what they got. So I'll need you to cover for me, okay?" Ahsoka asked sitting on a chair near where Padme was sitting.
"I understand," Padme replied while looking at the speech she wrote. "I'll keep Obi Wan busy then, but just be careful. With how things are right now I don't want you or the others getting in trouble."
Ahsoka nods in response and lets out a small sigh. "I just hope we can find proof about what really happened soon. If we can't then it will be up to you guys to convince the king we're innocent."
Padme agrees with her friend knowing they'll need to do everything they can to make sure Almora doesn't join the Separatist. "We'll do our best and before we arrive do you remember what I told you about the planet?"
Ahsoka recalls earlier a conversation Padme had with her about the planet of Almora. It's background, history with the Republic, what the planet is like, and the issues with the Jedi.
She told her friend about how she visited the planet before and learned that the people of Almora does not hate the Jedi though there are people like Alexis's brother, but do not agree with them taking children away from their families to join their Order. It is an issue Ahsoka already knew and figured Padme had been to the planet before due to her history with Jake's mother.
"I remember, why?"
"Because when we arrive I can assume the guards and the people of Almora will show distain towards Obi Wan, Barriss, and you than the rest of us," Padme explained with a concerned look on her face. "I just want you to be careful when you go to see the others and keep an eye out."
Ahsoka nods in agreement knowing with how the people of Almora are like right now they'll need to be careful. Even if they did convince the king they are innocent and not to join the Separatist, she gets the feeling it won't change how the people feel about them.
"We'll be careful and you'll need to do the same too, especially since you're pregnant."
"I know," Padme replied while rubbing her stomach. "I'll need to be real careful for the sake of the baby. I also have to make sure none of our enemies know about this, otherwise they'll come for it."
Ahsoka knew that was true as well and if the Sith found out about the baby they would try taking it away from Padme. She remembers what happened long ago on Mortis when she found out her master was the Chosen One. The one that will help bring balance to the galaxy and end the Sith. She thought it wasn't true and even her Master didn't believe it, until Obi Wan told her everything and asked her not to say a word about this to anyone.
If Anakin was the Chosen One then there is a chance his child will be as strong with the Force like him. So for the safety of the child and Padme she knew they would have to keep this whole thing a secret.
"Ahsoka, you there? I need to talk to you," said Barriss knocking behind the door.
"I'll be there in a minute," Ahsoka then turns towards Padme. "If you need anything let me know."
"I know and thank you," said Padme as her friend leaves the room.
Ahsoka closed the door and looked around to be sure no one was listening in. "Okay, what's up?"
"Master Kenobi wanted me to let you know what we're going to do once we arrive on Almora," Barriss explained as she tells her about them leaving the men on the ship and handing over their lightsabers. "They won't check us for our morphers, but we'll need to hand them our weapons."
Ahsoka was not pleased to hear they have to hand over their lightsabers, but knew it was for security purposes. She did it before for Mandalore, so she'll do it again for this trip.
"Fine, but they'll do the same to Dooku, right?"
Barriss nods in response. "I'm sure they will. I mean they may not trust us, but I highly doubt they'll trust Dooku either."
Ahsoka knew that was true. "Who else is going to join him?"
"I had assumed General Grievous would be joining him, but then we found out through the Council it will just be Dooku," Barriss replied before she leans against the wall. "Still, it doesn't mean he isn't planning something, especially if Damien is involved."
"If that happens we'll need to find a way to get away from the others to morph without being seen," Ahsoka suggested.
"Rick said he has something for that and will have it ready when we arrive. In the meantime we'll need to stay with the senators until we get to the bedroom we'll be staying at," said Barriss as she sees the door open with Lux coming out. "Any progress?"
Lux shook his head. "Alpha said Zane is working on something, but left to require some items for it. So for now we need to keep our guard up and make sure Damien doesn't try anything."
"With all the things he has done before there is probably no doubt he will try something," said Ahsoka as she heads back to the room.
Barriss agreed with her friend and turns towards Lux. "With Ahsoka now part of the team and with Damien losing more monsters, think he'll get involved himself?"
Lux knew this question was asked before to Zane and he gave them the same response he is going to say now to his friend. "If that happens, we better be ready."
Hyperspace
Count Dooku is on board his ship heading towards Almora, while also speaking to his master about what Damien has done. He told him about how Damien offered him a group of powerful warriors to infiltrate Almora and that one of his monsters will arrive to make their move if the negotiations fail.
"Tenga Warriors, you say?" Darth Sidious asked curious with what he just learned. "And you believe they will get the job done?"
Count Dooku nods in response. "I believe they will, but it doesn't matter if they do or not. As long as we have control over Almora then it doesn't matter."
"Remember, the king and his family must fall so we may have control over the planet. Do not disappoint," said Darth Sidious knowing the importance of the planet.
"I understand, my master. And once we take over the planet do you wish for me to bring the Tenga Warriors for the experiment?" Count Dooku asked.
Darth Sidious was tempted to learn more about these creatures, but decided they have what they need. "No, for now keep an eye on Damien and make sure he does his part. I sense he is planning something."
"You believe he will try betraying us now?" Count Dooku asked knowing they are not ready to betray him before he does to them.
"No, not yet," Darth Sidious replied reassuring his apprentice. "I sense his not ready yet either. So until then keep a close eye on him and if does plan to betray us then we will destroy him."
Count Dooku bows his head to his master. "I understand, my master and if the Power Rangers show up we will let Damien deal with them."
"Yes, and once they are out of the way nothing will stop us from achieving total control," said Darth Sidious as an evil smile begins to form.
Almora
The ship appears out of hyperspace as it heads towards the planet. It flies into orbit where it is escorted by five fighter ships as they take them to the capitol, Taipia. As the ship arrives they the city is twice the size of Theeds from Naboo with the buildings being larger on one side, while on the other side the buildings are smaller, there are homes that resides outside of the city, and long bridges that connect from both sides. The city is surrounded by the three sides by large lakes, which are used by the citizens.
Behind it lies a large mountain where the palace resides at and where security is seen most. Around the city lies large green trees, long open fields, and livestock traveling through the roads with their owners.
The ship heads towards the palace where there are three level. The first is the entrance and the landing platform for the ships, the second level where the royal guards and employees live at, and the third is where the royal family lives that has large tree in the gardens, and a river where the waterfall pours the water.
The ship begins to land with the guards surrounding the ship. Nearby Alexis is waiting with her royal guards, all wearing golden armor. The ramp begins coming down as the senator and the Jedi make their way down. They begin approaching Alexis, while also being confronted by the guards.
"Welcome senators and master Jedi, to Almora," Alexis greeted with a small head bow. "We hope your trip has been well."
Ahsoka, Barriss, and Lux looked on confused on why Alexis is acting different, until they noticed Padme doing the same thing. "Our trip has been well and thank you for welcoming us. Although we wish it was on better terms."
Alexis nods in agreement. "Indeed," she then turns towards the Jedi. "I assume you received the message given by our head of security?"
Master Kenobi nods in response and has the girls hand him their lightsabers. "As per requested we will hand over our weapons."
One of the guards takes the weapons and places them in a metal box. He then pulls out three metal bracelets, which confused the three Jedi until Alexis explained, but before letting out a small sigh.
"The head of security has also requested you three wear these specially designed force restraints while you are here."
"What?! No one told us that," said Ahsoka until Obi Wan tried shushing her, while the other guards grabbed their weapons.
Alexis moved her hands up to stop the guards. "Stand down!" the guards did as they were told and removed their hands from their weapons. "I am sorry about that."
Ahsoka turns to Obi Wan who motioned for her to apologize as well. "I'm…I'm sorry too for my outburst."
"Although she is right," said Barriss getting involved, but in a calm manner. "We were not told about using these restraints earlier. When did this occur if you do not mind us asking?"
"An hour ago," an older man around Alexis's age walks past the guards with shirt grey hair, fair skin, and black robed with silver breast plate. "We just want to make sure you Jedi don't try using your mind tricks while you're here."
Alexis lets out an annoyed sigh and introduces the stranger to the others. "Allow me to introduce the head of security and my brother, Tiberous."
The Jedi and Lux were unfamiliar with Tiberous, but Padme and Bail knew who he was. Tiberous however, recognized all of them, including Bail Organa.
"Hello, Bail. It's been a long time since we last saw each other."
Senator Organa replied as well, but did it with a calm tone. "Yes it has. I see nothing has changed since we last met."
"Things has changed," Tiberous then turns towards the Jedi. "Especially when the same people who claim to fight for peace are now soldiers that conquer worlds. Kind of like how you send your soldiers to try conquering our home."
Tiberous took one of the restraints from the solider and showed it to the other's "These restraints are simple you can use your full body these are more of a bracelet based design it won't affect your physical ability's but your force powers are another story."
Obi Wan face turned to a disgusted one "In what sense your majesty?"
Tiberous continued his explanation "You see my personal guards the silver guardians have some force users of our own by doing some research we discovered some techniques such as the Castellan restraints."
Barris looked horrified "The Castellan restraints! My lord with all due respect that is a Sith Technique invented and used by the most terrible of Sith Darth Malek, Darth Malgus and even Darth Bane. It's a mental restrain were the Sith go into one's mind and actually find mental ways to limit a force users abilities."
"Yes" said Tiberous "Makes me want to shake their hands if they weren't Sith."
Tiberous gave the force restraint back to the guard "With the help of the Silver Guardians and the scientists of Almora we were able to turn a simple technique into probably one of the most powerful weapons against the Jedi and Sith. We were able to turn the Castellan restraints from a Sith Ability to a rare material rock in bedded into the restraints. Once attached to your left or right arm your midichlorian count with suffer a massive strain anytime you try to use the force if you do use your mental state will be effected such as dizziness, tiredness even a sickly feeling in other words attempt to use the force and you will be a Ewok in the middle or an army of Tusken rider's just ready to be eaten up."
Ahsoka was about to say something again, but Obi Wan stopped her. "Prince Tiberous, we did not come here to fight and we did not come to conquer your world. We had nothing to do with that attack."
"Well then perhaps you'll be able to show us proof of that, if you have any at all," he grabs the restrains from his soldier and presents it to the Jedi. "And if you do want us to believe your lies then you will abide by our rules."
As much as Ahsoka didn't want to wear the restrains, she knew they didn't have much of a choice. So they each grabbed the restraints and placed them on their wrists with the lock now activated once it did her head felt a little dizzy but she was able to come to her normal state.
"They will be removed once the negotiations are over and you are off our world and encase you are wondering they have sensors so if one of you take it off we will know and if you think about fighting don't bother the Silver Guardians and the promoted level the Gold Guardians have had lightsaber training so we know how to deal with you. Now my men will show you all to your rooms and you will be told when the meeting will happen," Tiberous turns to his sister and gives her a small bow. "See you then, Alexis."
As Tiberous takes off with his guards, Alexis lets out another annoyed sigh. "I'm sorry about that. My brother, he is not the nicest person around any guests or family."
"It's all right. We figure it must be what is going on," said Padme as they begin following Alexis towards the palace.
"If only," Alexis muttered as she motions to the guards to walk to the back behind the Jedi. "By the way sorry for how I welcomed you all. I have to act like this while we're outside since the people are tensed right now with the Republic."
"We understand, Alexis and if it was Tiberous who gave us the cold shoulder you on the other hand treated us with respect and welcoming arms," said Senator Organa as he looks over to see some of the workers nearby glaring at them. "I see your brother hasn't changed much in his attitude."
Lux spoke out next. "Rachel told us he was strict, but I wasn't expecting him to be well like this. Was he always like this before?"
Alexis shook her head in response, with a sad expression. "Not when we were younger. He was different back then." She then smiled thinking back to the old days "He was a bit of a rebel not a black sheep like he was now more of an fun kid who liked making friends with townsfolk liked exploring he was great as kid." She smiled thinking of what her brother was like before.
Then her smile went down "Then something happened which caused him to become a changed man and now is like this. He does care for our people, but truth is I don't like how he is protecting us it goes against what he used to be like."
"Like locking us up with these?" Ahsoka asked showing the Force restraint bracelet.
Alexis nods in response and turns towards Obi Wan. "You are okay with this though, right?"
"I understand why he wanted to do this," Master Kenobi replied understanding why Ahsoka is upset. "If this is the only way for them to feel safe then we will have to abide with their rules I won't lie I feel a bit violated by wearing this but if it is to help the Republic then by all means ."
"Thank you for being understanding," said Alexis as they enter the palace where they see how big it is on the inside. "The meeting will be later tonight after dinner. You will also remain in your rooms until then. If you need to go somewhere my guards will follow you, with no exception. And if you do break the rules there will be some consequences, understood?"
Padme nods in response for the others. "We understand and I assume these rules will be for Count Dooku as well?"
"Oh yes he will and security will double when he arrives," said Alexis knowing her brother may hate the Jedi, but Dooku he despises the most after the attack on their home. "He will also wear a restrain and have his weapon be taken. However, you must not engage him in a fight. To think Dooku was Qui Gon's master is still beyond me"
"That is the pain of the dark side." Obi Wan replied sadly.
"We understand," Lux replied even though he was tempted to fight Dooku.
They arrive to their room where Alexis opens the door to let them in. Inside the room has on the wall a glass fish tank with different kinds of fishes. It also has a living room with furniture, tables, and a kitchen in one corner. Outside there is a balcony that overlooks a lake.
Nearby there are doors that lead to the bedrooms for the men and the women. The guards walked in dropping their things and leave the room behind Alexis.
"Now get plenty of rest all of you and we'll see you all for dinner," said Alexis as she turns towards Padme. "And again sorry that you all had to visit like this."
Padme understood why she is feeling bad and gives her a reassuring smile. "I know and it's okay." Alexis bows her head as she takes her leave. "Obi Wan, do you mind if I speak with Ahsoka and Barriss about something?"
"I don't mind. I'm going to use this chance to speak to the Council about our arrival," said Obi Wan as he takes out their communicator.
"I'm going to get some rest myself," said Lux as he lets out a fake yawn. "I'll need my rest for the meeting. If you don't mind."
Senator Organa caught on what Lux is doing and shook his head in response. "Not at all. Get some rest, while I speak with Master Kenobi and the Council."
Lux nods as he turns to the girls giving them a wink before walking into the bedroom. The girls caught that and followed Padme into the bedroom where the door gets locked by her.
"Okay, so where is this secret passage the others told you about?" she asked.
Barriss walks towards the wall of the bedroom looking for the secret hidden button. "It's somewhere around here."
Ahsoka stayed behind knowing Rick told Barriss about it and isn't sure where it is herself. Barriss managed to find the button near the nightstand and presses it. The nightstand moves to the side opening a secret entrance.
Ahsoka kneels down and takes out her flashlight to illuminate their way. "Padme, we'll be back in an hour. If Obi Wan needs anything let him know we're taking a nap or something."
Padme nods knowing she doesn't want to lie to Obi Wan, but knew she had to so their secret is safe. The girls crawl through the hole as the nightstand closes up behind them.
They followed the hole all the way to another hole below them. Luckily there are some ladders so they used them to climb down and they arrived to a large room where the others are waiting for them.
"Ahsoka!" Jake walks up to her happy to see her. "I'm glad you made it. Are you okay?"
Ahsoka nods in response happy to her Jake. "I'm fine and glad to see you're okay too," she hears Rachel clear her throat reminding her they are still here. "Oh um sorry good to see you all too. Are you all okay?"
"Other than dealing with Uncle Tiberous' attitude, we're doing super good," Rachel replied with a bit of sarcasm in her tone.
"It hasn't been very easy," Rick replied not liking how things have been going. "We have been trying to help Zane gather some evidence to prove you guys are innocent, but with security getting tight we've been getting little results."
"I sense Tiberous has more than just a problem with the Jedi Order," said Barriss when she noticed Lux climbing down the ladder himself.
"It does seem like he has a lot of problems, especially when he saw Senator Organa," said Lux as he joins his friends. "Do you guys know why?"
Jake shrugs his shoulders. "We asked our parents about that and all they can tell us is something happened a long time ago. We figure it must have been before they gave up being Rangers and before we were born because back then we heard our uncle was a nice guy."
"Him? Nice?" Ahsoka asked hard to actually believe that. "I highly doubt that."
"Well either way we'll deal with it later. Right now we need to come up with a way to prove you guys are innocent, while also deal with Dooku being here," said Jake knowing that is their first priority.
"Let's go to the Command Center then and see what Zane found out then," Barriss suggested.
"Right, let's go," said Jake as they used their wrist communicators and teleport to Endor.
Outside of the city
Meanwhile in the forest the Tenga Warriors, Torus, and the Warrior arrived to the planet where they await for their master's arrival. After the Tenga Warriors arrived they managed to damage one of the security outpost by making it look like an animal attacked it without being seen. This allowed Torus and Warrior to get passed the security to join up with the Tenga Warriors. They overlooked the city nearby waiting orders to make their move and attacks.
Damien appears before them in a shadow form as they all kneeled before him. "Were you seen?"
"No master. No one saw us arrive," Torus replied with his head bowed before him. "We await your command to attack."
"You will wait until after the party," Damien replied. "Whether Dooku gains the alliance or not what matters is the family must be wiped out so that he has full control over the government of the planet. With their king dead the people will lose their will to fight against us and the planet will belong to us."
"To us or the Separatist?" Warrior asked with his head also bowed down.
"To us," Damien replied having no intension of sharing. "Dooku's pathetic forces will remain on the planet, but in secrecy we will have control over this planet and its resources."
"And if the Power Rangers get in our way?" Torus asked.
"Then kill them all," Damien replied before his shadowy form disappears.
It looks like Dooku has a plan even if he does or doesn't get the alliance of Almora. Will our heroes get the proof they need that the Republic is innocent, while dealing with Damien's forces? What happened between Tiberous and Alexis in the past that caused him to be a jerk? And what will happen when Dooku arrives?
