Chapter 2

"Hinata Hyuga, what room is she in?" a loud and rushed voice asked, followed by a guy with black hair, a navy suit and white shirt strutting in.

"Calm down sir," a nurse with short bobbed hair motioned her left hand, as she used her right to flip through the book. "What are your relations to the patient?"

"I am her fucking fiancé, where the hell is she?" he growled, eyes moving to and fro as though they could see through walls. "Sir, you are going to have to calm down. Your energy will just agitate her." she muttered the last sentence, but he heard it and his growl intensified but he remained silent.

"Fiancé? I thought that red head was her boyfriend." he heard a nurse with black hair in a low bun say to a blonde nurse with a high bun.

"No Rena, that's Sakura's boyfriend." she whispered as she rolled her eyes. They're gossipping was pathetic considering he could hear everything, but at the sound of redhead, his eyes scanned the whole waiting room till they landed on a red headed person. Jaded eyes stared intently in his direction and he walked towards him, eyes just as intense.

"Who are you?" he asked, an accusing tone in his voice. But he was met with silence and a blank stare from emotionless green eyes.

"I swear if you hurt her…'' his voice got dangerously low, as he took off his navy suit jacket. The redhead stared, still silent, the black rings around his eyes wrinkling slightly from the slow twist of annoyance that graced his features.

"Sir," they both turned their attention to the bobbed haired nurse who had her hands on her hips, annoyance directed at the dark haired man. "This man brought your fiancée in because she was hurt and losing blood." The dark haired man stiffened, eyes turning from the nurse to the quietly obnoxious redhead whose eyes were staring afar off.

"Now, if you would like to see your fiancée," she turned with hard eyes, "you will keep your rage intact until the doctor is done looking at her. Understood?" he sat down, crossing his leg and tapping at his phone, ignoring the nurse. He heard her sigh and walk away. He tapped on his phone, he had to reach Itachi, let him know that he was with Hinata so he didn't worry. Then he texted Hanabi, Neji was out of town and he was not in the mood of dealing with the overprotective cousin. When he was done catching up, he turned and faced the redhead who had his eyes closed.

"You can leave now, I will take care of her." Sharp green eyes stared at him for a minute and closed themselves back, concealing themselves behind dark rimmed eyelids. The dark haired's anger was getting roughed up by being dismissed with such insolence.

"Is it money you need?" he asked, opening his wallet and pulling out an empty check slip he kept for emergencies.

"How much do you want? A hundred? A Thousand?" he asked, scribbling across the paper and placing it on the table that separated them. The red head didn't budge, ignoring the paper. "You can't possibly want more, that is preposterous!" he sneered as he looked at the redhead but was stopped from proceeding at the sound of the door opening and a woman with a blue surgeon cap and blue scrubs walked out with a small smile as she looked at the redhead.

"It was a good thing you brought her when you did Gaara, she was losing a lot of blood. Some of the wounds were large."

Gaara, so that was his name.

But before he could ponder any further her green eyes turned to his direction, surprise flushing her face before a pink blush creeped up her face. She must be Sakura. He knew that look, he saw that look a lot, she was smitten by him. Typical...

"Who might you be?" she asked, her voice now professional, though her face said otherwise.

"Uchiha Sasuke, is Hinata okay?" he got up, totally forgetting about the redhead and eyes now trying to search the room the woman came from. She stepped aside as an okay for him to go in but stopped him right at the door. "She is really tired and has lost a lot of blood, be careful with her. Your emotions are too strong, negatively, and can off balance her - I suggest you calm down before going in." she stepped aside again to allow him in, he was almost fully in when

"Sasuke-niisan!" a loud voice boomed through the halls as a slender figure walked briskly, her sweatpants and t-shirt layered by a black robe. Her brown hair in a messy bun and her worn out converses making quiet pats on the tiled hospital floors. Sasuke let out a large sigh of relief as he turned to see Hanabi, he took a double take when from his peripheral vision saw the redhead, Gaara, kissing the doctor that had just left Hinata's room.

Interesting. The red head would not have struck him as someone who dated a doctor when he looked at his rumpled appearance, black shorts, red ripped t-shirt which didn't seem purposeful and black flip flops. His attention turned back to Hanabi when she shook his hands, and he saw that she was talking.

"...okay?"

"What?"

"Dammit Sasuke is she okay?" she rolled her eyes in his direction.

"She is in there," he nodded absentmindedly and she rushed past him. When he looked back the doctor was walking down the hall, the red head gone and the check on the table. He picked up his jacket and the check before following Hanabi.
