Homecoming
A month and a half has passed since the mission to refuel the Rebel Fleet, Hera is now 21 and Kanan is now 30.
Currently, the Ghost crew and part of Phoenix Squadron were in the middle of passing cargo to a Hammerhead corvette, but this is while they're being pursued by a Star Destroyer. Phoenix Squadron was keeping a couple of TIE Fighters busy.
Hera and Errol aligned the ship with the Hammerhead so that they could pass the cargo over.
"Come on, Zeb! We don't have all day!" Errol called out to the Lasat, who was busy trying to use the cargo controls.
"Steady." He said to himself to focus. Once he did, he handed the cargo over to the other ship.
"Cargo transfer complete." Zeb informed the piloting couple through the comms and they separated from the Hammerhead
"Thanks, Phoenix Squadron." The Hammerhead commed before it jumped into Hyperspace.
"Transport's clear. Let's get out of here." Hera informed the squadron. Two of the A-Wings jumped into Hyperspace but one was severely damaged. One of the TIEs fired to take it down as the pilot tried to connect with the Alderaan Cruiser.
"Phoenix Leader, my Hyperdrive is damaged. Attempting to dock." Phoenix Two informed Hera.
"Make it quick, Phoenix Two. Those Fighters are closing in!" The Twi'lek replied. Even though she was about to dock, a TIE had managed to make some hits, causing the A-Wing to be destroyed in an explosion.
"Phoenix Two is gone. We have to jump now!" Hera and Errol heard on the comm as they watched in horror. Accepting the loss, they all jumped into Hyperspace to get away from the Imperial ships.
The two had to talk with Sato about what just happened and as they did, Ezra came into the cockpit.
"At best, our squadron is at half strength. We're not just losing Fighters, we're losing pilots faster than we can replace them." Hera said, her face in her hands.
"Meaning we're gonna need to find somewhere to land our Fighters until we find a solid base." Errol summed up the situation.
"Perhaps we can solve two problems at once. A Rebel Cell has reported an Imperial Carrier over their world. If we can steal that ship, we can use it to house all our fighters. This Cell is located in the Ryloth System." Sato explained. Upon mention of Ryloth, both Hera and Errol were more professional and straightened up.
"Ryloth? I know the Cell you're talking about. I'll contact them." Hera assured him before the hologram shut off. She then looked at Errol.
"Will you be able to handle talking to him?" He asked her, knowing full well who she's going to call.
"Not much choice, really." She said as she got up and walked out of the cockpit, past a confused Ezra.
"What's wrong with Ryloth?" He asked Errol.
"Let's just say… she has a history with her dad." Errol said for now.
Hera went to her and Errol's quarters, thinking for a bit in silence before she took a deep breath and activated the holotable to show a hologram of an older, orange skinned Twi'lek, her father, Cham Syndulla.
"Hera. This is unexpected." He confessed his surprise as he crossed his arms.
"Father, we need to talk." She told him, already having his complete attention.
After she explained everything and about joining to deal with the Imperial Carrier, Cham and some of his Rebels decided to meet up with Hera and her crew by flying a ship to them.
The crew made their way through the Liberator to meet with Cham at the docking port. The whole time, Errol was tense because he was about to come face to face with his girlfriend's father. He was so tense that Hera could practically feel it coming off him. So to calm his nerves, she held Errol's hand and sent him a calming smile, which managed to work.
"It's going to be fine." She whispered to him right before the docking door opened. She let go of his hand, thinking her father was there, but to their surprise, a familiar purple Twi'lek entered.
"Errol?" Aola asked, surprised to see him again.
"Aola? What are you do-" Errol was going to ask but stopped when she suddenly pulled him to her and wrapped her arms tightly around him, his face pressed up against her bosom.
"I'm so happy to see you again." She told him, sounding happy, embarrassing the young Jedi. While this amused the crew, it made Hera look like smoke was about to come out of her ears. She was fed up with seeing her, and especially interacting with her boyfriend. She had to sort things out.
Hera cleared her throat, eyes narrowed. Aola can already sense tension and upon noticing Errol's current situation, she gets embarrassed and parts from him. Errol looked like he was scarred for life as he was now in a vibrant red.
"You seem to be quite happy to see my boyfriend again." Hera told Aola, emphasizing the word 'boyfriend' as she pulled Errol to her side and wrapped around his arm. The crew could easily see and feel the tension so they kept quiet.
The revelation of Hera and Errol being a couple made Aola blush much more out of embarrassment.
"I'm sorry. I was just happy to see Errol again after freeing me from the slavers." She apologized.
"I can see that." Hera said, not really believing her as she let go of Errol.
This was when Cham Syndulla and a couple of his Rebels entered. He could sense the tension between Aola, his daughter and Errol, but he ignores it for now.
"It's been a long time, Father." Hera greeted him professionally. Cham looked over at Aola, who bowed her head and then he looked over at Errol.
"Ah. You must be the Jedi I've heard about." He said.
"Errol Flynn. I've heard about you as well, sir." Errol replied, calmly as possible, rubbing his hand on Hera's to try and calm his nerves down. Cham noticed this and started to suspect that something's going on between him and his daughter.
"This is the rest of the crew. Kanan, Ezra, Zeb, Sabine, Slick and Chopper." Errol then introduced the crew, pointing to each of them, looking at them to avoid mismatching.
"A fine group of fighters. Cham Syndulla at your service." He introduced himself with a small bow.
"The Liberator of Ryloth. I studied your Clone War tactics at the Academy." Sabine said, knowing who he is.
"*chuckles* Yes. The Empire is still trying to figure out how to beat me. These are three of my finest warriors. Numa, Gobi and Aola." Cham said, gesturing to his accompanying Twi'lek. Numa and Gobi nodded while Aola made a little wave.
"Well, we should get to the briefing. There's a lot to do." Hera said before she walked away. Errol followed after, which made Cham more suspicious of the two.
Everyone gathered around the holotable that showed a hologram of Ryloth.
"The Empire has a light Carrier in orbit over Ryloth they use to bomb the Twi'lek Rebels. The ship's well defended, but we can get aboard using the stolen Bomber while the squadron is away. One team secures the hangar, the other storms the bridge. Then we jump out before they figure out what hit them." Hera explained the plan, changing the hologram to the Carrier and then to the Imperial Light Cruiser.
"No, this monstrosity has rained destruction and death on the citizens of Ryloth. It is not enough that it simply disappears. My people need to see it fall from the sky in flames as a symbol of our strength. So I recommend a change in plans. Using my bomber, schematics and timetables, we can destroy the Carrier when it's most vulnerable." Cham immediately disagreed with Hera's plan, clearly obsessed with his self satisfaction and not helping the Rebel Fleet, and in turn, his daughter.
"If you could have destroyed it, you would have done so already. You need us… and we need the Carrier." Hera spat at him coldly. Errol glared at Cham, supporting her.
"We need each other. Cham's intel, Hera's plan. This works, we all win." Kanan pointed out, trying to keep things less tense as they are. Cham looked at his company and decided.
"Very well. With Jedi on our side, how can we fail?" Cham asked.
Errol narrowed his eyes, knowing full well that Cham has a plan of his own as he could sense this through the Force.
"Just remember you're not the only Rebels against the Empire, Syndulla." Errol reminded him.
Once they concluded the briefing, everyone got aboard the Ghost and started to get ready.
Errol was finishing up on part of his armour in the common room, cleaning it up and refining a wrist guard when Aola sat next to him. He looked at her to see her smiling.
"Hello." He greeted casually before going back on his wrist guard.
"Hi. I just wanted to let you know I appreciate you saving me. You made my life much better." She explained to him, placing a hand on his knee. Hera in the hallway noticed this as she was about to enter her and Errol's quarters. Her jealousy grew even more. Sure, Errol said he'd never let her go, she still couldn't help it, seeing something like this.
"No problem. I always help people if they need it." Errol told her, ignoring her hand.
"If you ever need my help, I'm there for you." She then told him, making Hera storm into her and Errol's quarters.
"Thanks." Errol said and then she patted his knee before walking off to talk with the rest of the crew. Errol was internally feeling uncomfortable as Aola was getting a bit too close for comfort and he would never cheat on Hera. Slick rolled in and beeped about him and Aola.
"Slick, you know I'd never cheat on Hera. And besides, she's more gorgeous than Aola any day." Errol whispered to him. Slick groaned, saying 'if you say so'.
Later, Hera and Ezra were working on Chopper.
"Hey, what's going on between you and your father? Errol said you and him have some history." Ezra asked.
"We haven't spoken in years. He was a hero in the Clone War, fought with the Jedi to free Ryloth from the droid army. But after the war, the Republic became the Empire and refused to leave, so he started fighting them. Once my mother was killed in the resistance, Ryloth's freedom became the most important thing to him." She recollected, bitterly.
"More important than family?" Ezra questioned, finding it awful that Cham stopped being a father to her. Suddenly, the door opened and Cham stood there.
"It's almost time. We should head out soon." He said, walking into the room. Ezra got up to leave but stopped as he turned his head.
"Well, there's nothing more important to me." He said before he walked out. The door then closed as Errol approached so that he could listen in, concerned for Hera.
"Is that the old astromech you found during the Clone War?" Cham asked. Hera stood up and in front of Chopper.
"As Errol said earlier, his name is Chopper." She told him. He grumbled to the older Twi'lek.
"Speaking of Errol, what's going on between the two of you?" He asked her daughter in his overprotective mode.
"Why should I tell you?" Hera crossed her arms.
"*sighs* If you gave me half the attention you gave this second rate junk pile, we'd have liberated Ryloth by now." Cham decided to change the subject. Chopper grunted at him, insulted by what he was just called.
"This is what's wrong with you, child. You hold onto the wrong things, devote your time and effort to lost causes. What a waste." He then started to rant on how her being with the Rebellion is just pointless. This caused Errol to clench his fists. He just can't stand how Cham thinks he and Ryloth are more important than the entire galaxy.
"I am not wasting my life. I help people. I lead ships into battle. I am part of something bigger." Hera then explained, her voice slipping into a Twi'lek accent, surprising Errol as he never heard her speak like this.
"The Rebellion. I thought you knew better than to put your faith in outsiders. You forget what happened when we trusted the Republic." Her father tried to reason.
"This is different. The Rebels are fighting to free everyone." Hera pointed out.
"Free everyone? I don't care about everyone. I care only about Ryloth." Cham snapped at her.
"I'm not surprised Errol is suspicious of you." Hera told him, remembering the looks her boyfriend gave him during the briefing.
"That's it, what's so special about him? He's just a young Jedi." He requested an answer from her.
"He's my boyfriend. And he cares for me more than you ever have." She finally revealed, back to her voice that Errol was familiar with. This shocked Cham to his core.
"Your boyfriend? How long?" He asked.
"Two years. And we've even made love." Hera added salt to the wound.
"You've given your body to him? I'm disappointed in you." Cham spat as he exited into the hallway, seeing Errol, who looked furious.
"You're supposed to be her father. No wonder she left Ryloth." He coolly said to the Twi'lek, who stormed off somewhere else. Errol looked at Hera, who looked like she was going to cry so, being the love of her life, he hugged her and buried her face in the crook of his shoulder, letting out her tears as she wrapped her arms around him.
Eventually, everyone boarded the Bomber and detached from the Liberator with a couple of A-Wings flying with them. They then jumped into Hyperspace.
The Bomber was silent as everyone inside hadn't spoken yet. Kanan, Ezra, Sabine, Zeb, Numa, Gobi and Cham were all packed on the left of the Bomber with Hera, Errol, Aola, Chopper and Slick on the right where the pilot seat is.
"Master Windu spoke highly of your heroics at the Battle of Lessu." Kanan said to Cham. Errol rolled his eyes at the mention of Windu, having been told stories of how much of a bad Jedi he was by his dad.
"Ah. Mace Windu, hmm. Outnumbered 100 to one, we charged across Lessu's energy bridge to certain doom. We would not be stopped. They named that attack in songs, 'The Hammer of Ryloth'. *chuckles*" Cham smirked, getting along with Kanan, which got on Hera's nerves so she shut a door to cut off the whole thing.
"Your father seems to get along with your Jedi friend." Aola said, feeling bad for her.
"More the other way around." Hera said, blankly. Kanan then opened the door and entered.
"General Syndulla, I could listen to your stories all day." He told the older Twi'lek.
"And I could tell them all day. *chuckles*" He replied, instantly making Hera shut the door again.
"Your father's not such a bad guy. I see a lot of him in you." The older Jedi said, making Hera look at him like he grew an extra head.
"What? You're both great leaders trying to help people." Kanan reasoned. Hera scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"You don't know him like I do." She said, looking away from him.
"Actually know your stuff before you say anything, Kanan. Dad told me that." Errol advised him.
Not too long after, they jumped out of Hyperspace, close to Ryloth. Hera detached the Bomber from the shuttle and flew ahead.
Cham entered the cockpit.
"Aola, help Gobi get ready for landing." He ordered the purple Twi'lek, who nodded, looking at him with a knowing look and headed off to do as she was told.
"If the Empire is on schedule, they should be sending their Bombers to the surface, which will make the ship more vulnerable." Cham noted.
"They're always on schedule." Hera shot back as the Imperial Carrier showed up and the Bombers it housed took off from it.
"There they go. I'm signalling the A-Wings. Let's hope this works." Hera noted right before the A-Wings showed up. As part of the plan, they pretended to fire at them in the Bomber to make it seem like they're being attacked.
"Bomber Pilot to Carrier. We are under attack by Rebel Fighters! Request permission for emergency landing!" Kanan called out over the comms, as part of the act.
"Incoming Bomber, transmit your clearance code." The Carrier's captain requested.
"Code is 7-2-5… ahh!" Kanan replied, sounding like they've been attacked yet again.
"Proceed to bay two. We'll cover you." The captain replied, all going to plan.
One of the A-Wings made a stray hit, causing some damage to the Bomber, billowing smoke. As they got closer, the Imperials fired back, but missed the A-Wings, making them fall back and exit through Hyperspace.
"Rebels have fled." The captain informed them.
"We've been hit! Coming in hot!" Kanan shouted as they flew in fast towards one of the hangar bays.
"Might consider slowing down, Hera." Errol said with worry.
"I want it to look good, dear. Hang on!" Hera said.
"*grunts* I hate it when she says that." Zeb muttered right before Hera landed the Bomber into the hangar, hard, throwing everyone inside all over the place. She then crashed through crates until she managed to halt to a stop.
As Kanan and Errol were getting up, groaning in pain, they heard a couple of shots. But before they could do anything, Cham shot at them with stun blasts, knocking them out.
"Father, what are you doing?!" Hera shouted. He then fired at Slick and Chopper, knocking them out.
"We only needed your help to get us onboard. I'm sorry." He told before he cuffed her to the pilot seat.
"I'll stay to make sure they don't do anything." Aola volunteered, which Cham accepted before he, Numa and Gobi left to go ahead with their mission.
Hera was struggling against her cuffs when Aola broke them off.
"What are you doing?" Hera asked her as she helped her up.
"Once I learned what your plan was, I had to join to help you and stop your father." Aola told her.
"Why?" Hera asked.
"To repay Errol for saving my life." Aola answered. Hera, while still feeling jealousy, knew this was her owing Errol back, and she couldn't blame her.
"Okay, let's wake everyone up." She said. They woke the droids up first, who chirped about Cham betraying them. Hera went to Errol and Aola went to Kanan.
"Errol, wake up." She said, tapping on Errol's cheek, knowing that's the quickest way to wake him up. He groaned as he sat up.
"I knew he was going to turn us." He muttered as he put his helmet on.
Aola woke Kanan up and then went to wake everyone else up.
"On second thought, I don't like your father anymore." Kanan groaned. Everyone else came in.
"Um, Hera, uh, our friends have bags full of detonators." Ezra revealed.
"It'll be enough to blow the Carrier. Cham likes to over deliver." Aola added.
"We're scrubbing the mission, right?" Sabine questioned.
"No, we're finishing it. We'll stop my father, then we'll steal this ship." Hera put her foot down as she opened the top hatch.
"We'll take the bridge. Zeb, you and Sabine check the munitions rack for those detonators." Kanan said as Hera, Errol, Aola, himself and Ezra climbed out.
"They blow those up, and this whole ship will go, too. Everyone on Ryloth will be able to see that fireball." Sabine told the Lasat before she climbed out.
"I think that's the idea." Zeb muttered.
The group heading for the bridge got out of an elevator with their blasters in hand. They then went down a corridor and turned a corner to see a couple of Stormtroopers.
"Blast 'em!" One of them shouted but both Padawan and Master Force Pushed them, knocking them out. And then they both handled a situation involving blast doors.
"Chopper, get this door open." Hera ordered her droid. Once he did as told, they entered the bridge.
"Stand down!" She warned one of the bridge officers as Errol pulled the blaster from the captain's hand with the Force. They then moved the officers together, held at gunpoint by Aola.
"I have already contacted reinforcements." The captain warned them all.
"Thanks for the heads up." Hera said.
"I'll handle this." Errol said.
"You are going to abandon ship." He said, using the Jedi Mind Trick on the captain.
"We are going to abandon ship." The captain said, monotone. He then put him on comms and used the Trick to make the captain give orders to abandon ship, saying the fire's gone out of control and to get into the escape pods. He then made the captain run out.
"Nicely done." Kanan was impressed.
"My dad gave me lessons when I was 7." He shrugged.
"Alright, Hera. We're on the clock. Get us out of here." Kanan told her.
"Zeb, the bridge is secure. What's your status?" Errol asked over the comlink.
"Oh, the usual. But Sabine has a plan of sorts." Zeb replied.
After several seconds, he called back.
"Wow. Sabine's plan actually worked. There's no sign of Cham." He told him.
"Try and find him then." Errol said, but that's when Cham entered the bridge, blaster out.
"We are not going anywhere." Cham snarled at them. But then Aola pointed a blaster right at his head.
"I wouldn't if I were you." She spat at him.
"You traitor." Cham said with betrayal.
"You're too late, father. Slick, make the jump to Hyperspace." Hera said, but the droid gave not so good news.
"The Hyperdrive's offline? What did you do?" Hera asked her dad.
"I must destroy this ship for Ryloth. Gobi, Numa, proceed with our plans." Cham said, so confident he has succeeded.
"Apologies, General Syndulla. We have been captured." Numa said over the comlink.
"Accept it Cham, you've failed. Imperial reinforcements are coming." Errol told him.
"Destroy this ship, and the Empire will just send another. But if we take it, we can use it to fight them." Hera tried to use logic and reason with her dad.
"You haven't been here to see what the Empire has done to our world." Cham said, reaching for Hera, which turned out to be a bad move as Errol became a blur, slamming Cham up against the wall.
"Don't. Touch. Her." He warned him, coolly. Hera stood next to Errol and looked at her father right in the eyes.
"I want freedom from the Empire as badly as you, but this battle can't be won on Ryloth alone. During the Clone War, you didn't just fight for a village, you rallied everyone to liberate the entire planet. You inspired me. The Rebellion is no different. But either you couldn't see that, or you didn't believe in me. And that's why I left." She told him from her heart. And it seemed to have an effect on him. Errol let go of him.
"You're daughter's right. We have this ship. And if we can buy her enough time, she could get us out of here. Just trust in her like I do. Like all of us." Errol backed his girlfriend up. Those words made Cham look back on his life with his daughter and now he has been more swayed.
"I am with you, Hera." Gobi said over the comlink.
"I am also with you." Numa also said.
"Well, father?" Hera asked.
He looked down at the ground, was silent as he took a few steps forward and then sighed as he looked back at her.
"I guess you have your chance to prove me wrong." Cham said. These words made Hera go into her captain mode.
"Everyone, get to the turrets." She ordered, everyone following her order as they ran to the various turrets.
"Father, tell Slick how to fix the Hyperdrive." She then told her dad.
Errol ran to the turret that was below the bridge and prepared himself.
"Focus all fire on that shuttle. We can't let them retake the ship." Hera told everyone as they saw the Imperial Shuttle with TIE Fighters.
"Five targets inbound!" Kanan said as they all started firing, Kanan destroying one and Errol another.
"I'm on them!" Sabine said, firing, though missing.
Gobi fired, but narrowly missed.
"They got past me!" Numa informed everyone.
"I see 'em!" Ezra confirmed, firing and destroying one.
"Got one!" Aola updated.
"Errol, the shuttle!" Hera called out.
"I know!" He fired back as he fired shots, non stop at the Shuttle, making it take damage and even explode.
"We did it!" Ezra cheered.
"Your victory will be brief. As I feared, the Bombers have returned." Cham informed everyone.
"We're not in the clear, yet." Hera said right before a couple of the Bombers fired torpedoes towards the Carrier.
"Torpedoes incoming!" Aola warned.
"Taking evasive action." Hera said as she moved the Carrier to avoid being hit as Sabine started to fire her turret.
"Two targets at 3.9." She said as she stopped one torpedo, but missed the other.
"Ugh! Missed one!" She shouted in frustration.
"I've got it!" Numa said as she took it down. The Bombers managed to make torpedoes hit the Carrier.
"Lousy Imps!" Zeb growled as he took one down. Then Gobi took another one down.
"Ezra!" called out to the teen.
"Yeah, yeah!" He acknowledged as he took one torpedo down. The other was about to hit the bridge when Errol shot it down, though it was close enough to do damage.
"Lost our stabilizer!" She said as the Carrier started to descend at an angle, making Cham hold onto a console. Aola at the same time took a Bomber down. Then Kanan fired at another.
"Come on!" She hissed, trying to get the ship stable. That's when her dad came up and helped her and they both used all their strength to get the Carrier to stabilize.
"*sighs* We were always stronger together." He admitted to her, making Hera smile. Errol saw the Imperial Light Cruiser coming after them so he got out of the turret and ran to the bridge, Ezra as well.
"The light cruiser is coming after us, but I think I know a way to stop it." Ezra revealed.
"I'll help you." Cham volunteered. Ezra looked to Hera for the okay.
"It's okay. Go. Hurry!" She told him.
"Droid, I shut down the Hyperdrive's power coupling on the third and fourth reactor." Cham told Slick, who nodded and went to work.
"Sabine, meet me in the hangar." Ezra commed.
The three packed a TIE Bomber with explosives and then Ezra pushed it out with the Force and once it was close enough to the Cruiser, Cham got on a turret and fired at it, causing a huge explosion and for it to descend past Ryloth for its people to see, just as Cham wanted.
"Got it fixed, Slick?" Errol asked his droid, who nodded.
"Alright, then. Let's see what she can do." Hera said right before they entered into Hyperspace.
As they were en route to the Rebel Fleet, Aola called for Hera and Errol, requesting to talk with them. So they all met up on the bridge.
"So, what is it you want to talk about?" Errol asked her in confusion. Aola sighed.
"Hera, I know that you've thought I've been trying to get between you and Errol." Aola started off.
"I have not thou-" Hera was trying to say otherwise but Aola placed her hand up to silence her.
"Please. I'm smarter than you think. It doesn't take a genius to notice your looks when I hug him or interact with him. I was just showing gratitude to him. It's all just been a misunderstanding. Nothing but innocent interactions." Aola explained.
"So, you don't fancy him?" Hera asked, making Errol cough awkwardly, making both women laugh.
"That's right. I don't. Especially since I already have special people to love." Aola said, pulling out and showing a holopic showing her as well as a male brown Twi'lek and a little girl.
"They're my husband and daughter. I was taken from them, but because of Errol, I've returned to them." She said, finally clearing everything.
"Well, I'm glad to have gotten you back to your family." Errol said, feeling proud of himself, knowing the whole context.
"I guess I should apologize. Errol means everything to me and I was afraid you were trying to take him from me." Hera apologized.
"It's alright. I would've been the same if I was in your position." Aola shrugged. The two Twi'leks then shook hands, at peace with each other.
Once they made it back to the Rebel Fleet, Sato and many others were thrilled to gain the Carrier, knowing they now had something to house their Fighters until they found a base.
In one of its hangars, Errol stood as he watched Hera and Cham make up and finally be on good terms once more. He then saw Cham wave him over and Errol knew what this was about so he took a deep breath and prepared for the 'father being protective of his daughter' talk.
"Before I go, there is one last thing we should talk about." Cham said, looking back and forth between Hera and Errol. They nodded in silence.
"While I was put off at first, I now see how much you two mean to each other. You both have my blessing to be with each other." Cham told them, making the two let out a sigh of relief. Cham then looked directly at Errol.
"But know this, young man. If you hurt my daughter in any way, you will be a victim of my fury." He warned him as he leaned closer to the teen's face, who kept his cool.
"Your daughter means too much to me to ever consider the idea of hurting her. And my own parents would kill me if I did anyway." Errol replied. Feeling satisfied, Cham nodded with a sly grin.
"Good. Now I will take my leave. I wish you both luck." Cham then walked into the shuttle, took off and flew out of the hangar.
"That went better than expected." Errol said, turning to Hera and wrapped his arms around her waist as she giggled.
"I didn't expect you to be scared of my father." She joked.
"You're pointing out how me, your boyfriend, is meeting your father. Of course I'd be scared." Errol said before he kissed her on the lips for a few seconds until he parted, with a thoughtful look.
"What are you thinking about?" Hera asked, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Looking at Aola's daughter got me thinking. About us, and having our own kids." He confessed.
"I've thought about it too." Hera said.
"And?"
"I know that I want kids of my own. I just don't know when I'm ready to be a parent." She said.
"Same here. Either way, it would be nice to be a parent. My mom said that when she learned she was pregnant with me, she was both scared and excited. But she knew that she would love me no matter what. And that would be the case with us." Errol said with pure seriousness.
"You're right. I love you." Hera whispered, leaning in.
"I love you, too." Errol said, leaning in and they kissed, sharing a private moment together.
